Dr. Sweet and staff were absolutely incredible. He was knowledgeable, provided statistical data, and gave pricing upfront which I appreciated. He listened and did everything he could to make our dreams of being parents possible.My husband and I went to a fertility specialist in Naples and were told that we should consider a surrogate. The doctor felt that I would have issues carrying. All of this was said without looking at our file or doing tests. The information was gut wrenching so we decided to get a second opinion.Dr sweet ordered multiple tests which showed there was nothing medically wrong. He recommended IUI and after our second round we were pregnant. I truly felt heard and felt Dr. Sweet cared about me as an individual. I am so thankful. Our little guy is now 3 months and we will forever grateful for him and his team.

I can’t say enough great things about this office. They are compassionate, understanding and strive for the success for their patients. From my 1st consultation in November to my 1st transfer in May. It’s now July and I am 9weeks pregnant. Dr sweet is incredibly knowledgeable and his staff are the best. Best decision I made was choosing this office to help us grow our family. Dr Sweet is very knowledgeable, honest and attentive. We received excellent care under this practice. The staff is exceptional and accommodating, we never felt rushed or ended up feeling frustrated. Started seeing Dr. Sweet in June however did not meet Dr. Sweet until mid July due to the fact the office does not let you speak or see him until they are ready. Office staff is is rude especially Michelle who started yelling at me that I went the wrong day for my blood work went. In fact I had it on paper the day they wanted me to go after she realized she was wrong instead of apologizing she said yeah OK let’s move on from that. We already talked about itThat left a bad Taste, and then Laurie who did all my testing she put a lab in for genetic testing which I already had almost a year ago and gave her my prior results, she seemed very confused every time I met her when I got my blood work back. I had to call her. She didn’t understand what she was reading. I basically had to explain it to her when I finally met with the dr and went over all my results he was very negative egotistic and plain old mean he put me down basically attacking me telling me every other doctor I’ve seen in the world is wrong about anything and everything and he knows all ….nobody has numbers like him, blah blah blah, the whole song and dance Every time I spoke, he told me to stop asking questions and I should sit there and listen to him so rude so happy that I have left this office … when I say leave this office I mean, RUNNNN!!!!They are just trying to make money off you !!What a joke this office is

Dr.sweet’s interventions worked within a year and our little girl was just borne June 25th. The staff are very sweet and kind as well! Thank you all so much!

Dr. Sweet was honest, upfront, and made sure to go over everything with us. When we had questions we were able to come in and sit down with him and go through everything together. He made us feel seen and heard especially when going over our options and not forcing us to do something we did not want to do. We felt like we had a great plan in place and everything worked out perfectly. His team was great as well! You can tell it takes a fully knowledgeable team to keep everything on track especially when egg retrievals are done on the weekend and nothing stands in the way. After graduating at 8 weeks Dr. Sweet was so happy for us - hugged me - and I felt like he really cared and was so happy to have help us get to where we were at especially after I cried several times in his office when the process of fertility makes you feel defected. He made it known that if I ever needed anything or had any issues to contact him and his office and he would be sure to see me asap. I felt like his office/clinic was a safe space because him and his team have seen so many people that have gone through similar situations and have seen them go onto have a successful pregnancy so I felt like I was at home in his care and in his offie with his team. Doctor Sweet is the absolute best. He made our dreams of becoming a family a reality. We were so happy to have our first that when we were ready for another we didnt hesitate to go back to the best in the business. I gave 5 stars because I personally like to go to a doctor that is clear and honest instead of sugar coding anything. He is straight to the point and he will tell you if he can help you or not. The entire team is very, friendly, caring, professional, and empathetic. All the girls are very sweet. He did a very successful surgery on me because I had a septate uterus, he was also the only doctor diagnosing my clinical hypothyroidism. He was very helpful. Me and my significant other are very content with Dr. Sweet and his team.

Avoid at all costs. My friend has been trying to conceive for quite some time. She made an appointment with Dr. Sweet. Dr. Sweet told her she needed to have a time-sensitive procedure between days 2 and 9 of her cycle, and that she needed to call on day 1 of her cycle to make the appointment. Two months in a row, she has called on day 1 and his staff has told her they dont have availability and that she cant have the procedure done. There has been no explanation or apology, and my friend is utterly distraught. I recommend you listen to your intuition - when a doctor and his staff show you who they are and what they value, you should listen. In this case, they do not value my friend or her heartache.

Dr. Sweet is the most thoughtful, professional, and thorough doctor that I’ve ever worked with. My journey with his office began a few years ago after having my first miscarriage. I was referred to him by my OBGYN due to having fibroids. He was very thorough in his tests and observations and recommended that I have surgery to remove my fibroids before attempting to get pregnant again (due to the amount and location of the fibroids). Shortly after his recommendation, I had to relocate for graduate school to the east coast of Florida and decided to have my surgery with another reproductive endocrinologist. Terrible decision! 3 months after surgery, I began having abdominal pain and discovered that all of my fibroids were not removed despite the surgeon assuring me they would be. Fast forward to 2023, I graduated from grad school and relocated back to the SW Florida area. I began seeing another OBGYN who recommended another reproductive endocrinologist in the area. My visits with that RE were the opposite of my visits with Dr. Sweet. I won’t go into detail about that! If you are looking for a doctor who is honest, caring, knowledgeable, and thorough, go with Dr. Sweet. I genuinely believe he is one of the best in the game! My appointments with him are no less than 45 minutes because he takes the time to explain EVERYTHING in detail and provides answers to ALL my questions. I never ever feel rushed at my appointments, and it is very evident that he genuinely cares about his patients. I had my second myomectomy with him last month. He came to the hospital to check on me every day that I was there. His staff is very sweet and also very professional. After my second miscarriage (prior to my myomectomy with Dr. Sweet), Dr. Sweet and the medical assistants were sympathetic and made my husband and I feel better despite the heart-wrenching experience. After experiencing 2 other reproductive endocrinology offices in Florida, Dr. Sweet and his staff are by far the best! As exhausting as this fertility journey has been, we feel a lot of comfort knowing that we have Dr. Sweet and his team in our corner.

We spent one year and $35000 for two failed transfers. As I look down at my beautiful natural eight month old son I cannot help but wonder what would’ve happened if we gave into the constant pressure of dr sweet pushing Covid vaccines on myself and my lady. Although the doctor is very knowledgeable, I just can’t overcome my thoughts on how wrong the dr was. They got their money, they pushed their opinions to the point of making you feel guilty. I’d definitely recommend trying a different dr that speaks from science, not whatever the current thing pharmaceutical companies are pushing. It’s your body and your baby, make the best choice for yourself.

Dr. Sweet is knowledgeable and THE BEST fertility specialist that we have seen. His staff are great too, especially Erin. Dr. Sweet was helping my husband and I before our sixth loss. He was really dedicated to helping us have a successful pregnancy. I’ve seen every other fertility specialist in SW Florida, don’t waste your time and just go to Dr. Sweet. Dr Sweet has helped many of our friends have healthy children. Our journey to having a child was unsuccessful, but we are so grateful for Dr Sweet and his team.

Where do I even start? Dr. Sweet and his staff were like godsends after I had all but given up ever conceiving. 7 years of infertility and multiple failed IUI’s with other specialists, i was feeling very defeated when i started my journey with this practice. The best part about Dr. Sweet is that he doesn’t sugar coat things. He takes a detailed history, detailed exam/blood work and gives it to you straight so you move forward putting your money where it counts. During my time with him he performed surgery for fairly progressed endometriosis (no other specialists even offered this) and had my 1st round of IVF, which was successful on the first try. I am now 13 weeks pregnant! I still can’t believe it and it doesn’t feel real or even possible after so many years of failures, but I know i owe it to him and his staff. If you’re considering him as your provider and want to be done with all the fluff and ready to start or grow your family, just do it! We are FOREVER grateful to Dr. Sweet, the “eggspert”! ;-)

I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Sweet. He was extremely thorough in explaining my options. He is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. Every single person on his team is amazing! They all know exactly what their jobs are and take them seriously, all while being very sweet and friendly making you feel like an old friend. Dealing with infertility isn’t a club you want to be in but if you have to be, this is the office to go to.

Dr. Sweet & his staff are truly amazing! I have been struggling with infertility for years, and years. My insurances fertility plan suggested Dr. Sweet. He sits down and makes a detailed plan with what works for you. We started our plan and within two months I became pregnant, unfortunately it was ectopic. No one in the emergency room was unable to find the ectopic because it was so early, but Dr. Sweet found it right away. Throughout the entire process Dr. Sweet and his staff really made everything easier, and even contacted me to just to check in on how I was. That in itself means more than they could imagine through such a difficult time. Even if there is a chance my dreams of having a baby do not come true, I know Dr. Sweet has tried and can tell he really does care.

After a terrible experience at my first fertility clinic, I drove 2.5 hours to Dr. Sweets practice based on a recommendation. Im glad I did. He spent an entire hour getting to know me and my husband during our first apt. and thoroughly going through our history. He was cost conscious and did not make me go through testing again that I had done elsewhere. He is direct and to the point, he is not going to sugar coat things but that was what I wanted someone to just get the job done and he did! I fell pregnant with the first IUI thanks to the protocol he uses.

Dr Sweet was great through the whole process. Hes honest with you and is very thorough in everything he does. I saw him for 5 months doing tests due to my loss and issues I was having to get pregnant. He diagnosed me with pcos and came up with a course of action to take. Within 1 cycle I was pregnant with triplets!!! I just had the triplets in December and I cant thank him and his staff enough for all they did to assist us in getting pregnant and staying pregnant. Dr. Sweet is amazing! He is very thorough & completely transparent. He does not do/recommend anything without telling you the ups and downs of EVERYTHING. He’s knowledgeable & his staff is amazing as well. All of the ladies are super nice. I had to undergo a huge procedure and was extremely nervous. He made me feel comfortable with putting my life in his hands. He has great bedside manner and is very personable. What I like most about him is that he gives it to you straight. He does not tell you what you want to hear, but what you NEED to hear. He knows what he is doing and is completely comfortable in his skill. I would recommend him a million times over. He changed my life & I’m super grateful to have had him as my surgeon.

Dr. Sweet is by far one of the most caring and to the point doctors that I have ever encountered. My husband and I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done for us. Today my husband and I graduated from Dr. Sweets office at 9 weeks pregnant! We could not be more grateful to Dr. Sweet and his staff for making this experience nothing short of spectacular!Dr. Sweet is a straight forward, super intelligent doctor who is incredibly good at what he does. He also acts with compassion, professionalism, and has a great sense of humor! The journey of infertility is not a fun one, but Dr. Sweet has a way of taking the edge off, while also balancing our hopes with realistic expectations.Our initial appointment was extremely informative. He thoroughly explained our chances of conceiving naturally after gathering and analyzing all of our test results (odds werent good - I had extremely low ovarian reserve and we had some male factor issues as well). Copies of all results were provided to us as for our records. Next he went through each option we had for moving forward. He never suggested one option over another, and left the decision completely up to us. We felt confident moving forward with IVF, and from that moment on, everything moved forward like clockwork.Each appointment was timely, every procedure was thoroughly explained and carried out perfectly. My husband was warmly welcomed to every appointment and was allowed in with me to every procedure. Any time I had a question or concern I emailed Jilly, the IVF coordinator, and she responded to me within the hour! The day my husband and I went in to learn about administering the medications, we were both very nervous since neither of us had any experience doing this. Dr. Sweet and Jilly spent as much time with us as we needed (and it was ALOT!) to make sure we felt comfortable before we left, and made sure we knew they were on standby if we needed them! They were honest yet optimistic at every turn, and helped keep our spirits up as we moved through the process.His staff of nurses are wonderful, and there were many other nice little personal touches along the way. For example, recordings of the egg retrieval and ultrasounds done after conception were loaded onto thumb drives for us to take home, show off, and keep forever! We were given an adorable certificate upon graduation from their facility, and warm hugs and well wishes as we headed out the doors for the last time. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone who is struggling with infertility. Dr. Sweet has wonderful success rates (the best in the area!) and is extremely good at what he does!

Dr Sweet is an absolutely classless doctor with zero concept of bedside manner. He preached to my wife for not communicating to him about finding out she was pregnant two days prior to an appointment and for not following his protocol yet he never communicated himself that he wants us to call ahead instead of telling him in person. A more appropriate response would have been congratulating her and working on a new plan of treatment instead of reprimanding her and providing no guidance. If you dont like being treated like a misbehaving toddler do yourself a favor and dont go here.

My wife Whitney is now 7 weeks pregnant after successfully completing only 1 round of IUI treatment in March! She finished her second ultrasound yesterday, and the baby is growing right on schedule. Now she will be turned over to her OBGYN doctor. I want to thank Dr. Sweet and his team for helping my wife and I navigate this process. This was a brand new experience for us to seek out help from Reproductive specialists, and he put us at ease with his thorough approach. He left no stone unturned, and helped rule out many different explanations for my wifes 2 prior miscarriages. He has displayed a level of professionalism, care, and expertise that is is hard to find now days. We would highly recommend him to any couples who are searching for help trying to get pregnant. Dr Sweet and his team are amazing. Let’s review the facts - Dr Sweet is direct and to the point - wouldn’t you want that as you prepare to invest a lot emotionally and financially? You will get real odds - you may not like the numbers or the answers but having the truth, as raw and hurtful as it may be is the best way to approach any infertility journey. We knew our odds were very low - but we believed and trusted in Dr Sweet when he said we had a chance and we were willing to try on our small chance of success. We failed the first round. I did a ton of research (occupational hazard) and educated myself on how I could improve my chances; prepare myself to be healthier. Second round we had much better quality and success! This may not work for you or your path may be different. When I started I had asked my GYN who he recommended in all of Florida he looked at me and said if you were my wife I would send you to Dr Sweet. Best decision we made!

Dealing with infertility is not an easy ordeal, after trying different infertility treatments in Miami with a different doctor, I wasnt as optimistic as I usually am when I came to Dr.Sweets office for the first time BUT Dr.Sweet and his amazing team quickly changed that!! After the first appointment with Dr.Sweet and Rebecca his IVF coordinator who is awesome!! awesome!! awesome!!, my husband and I gained some of our optimism back and we are currently expecting our first baby ^_^ The staff is polite, professional, and funny which made this whole experience better than we ever expected.

Dr. Sweet is AMAZING! He was able to diagnose the reason I had been unsuccessful in getting pregnant and then gave us several options and all of the facts associated with our options so that we could make the best decision for our family. In the end, we chose IVF and he and his staff were so incredible throughout the entire process. We now have two beautiful twin girls and 3 frozen embryos for the future! Dr. Sweet was realistic, down to earth, and attentive at every visit. Not only did I feel like I was in good hands, I also felt like I was being spoken to as a human and not a patient. I also felt like I learned so much about myself and about fertility. I cant thank him enough for giving us our girls, but also for making a difficult time in my life that much easier.

I wish I read the reviews before seeing Dr.Sweet. His reputation precedes him. He is extremely rude and has no bedside manner as a doctor, especially as a male doctor dealing with sensitive female issues. It’s one thing to be knowledgeable and another to be arrogant. He puts down other doctors information because he believes he knows more than they do and in other offices when I mention his name doctors and nurses ask “does he still have THAT attitude”. During a vaginal exam he was extremely rough during the procedure and as I was tearing up from the pain he BLAMED ME and stopped doing the exam. I had the same exam from a different doctor with less pain and was put at ease and comfort. Ladies please BEWARE!!!!!**UPDATE**I got a response from the office and it is full of lies I was NEVER misdiagnosed. I was alway knew of my condition since the age of 15. Another false information is that the doctor had previously performed the same exam last year never happened.and about the medication he told me to go see a nutritionist first so I did and they told me to hold of on the medication. It’s funny how they don’t bring up his ATTITUDE!!!

I had three wonder experiences with Dr. Sweet. He helped me figure out my infertility problems. He took care of me during surgery for endometriosis, and helped me get pregnant afterwards in 2016. We came back and now we are pregnant again.He is very competent and reassuring. I love his staff, they are always sweet and helpful, and answers all my questions.I highly recommend Dr. Sweet, he is wonderful and very experienced.

Avoid Dr. Sweet at all costs, he is nothing but an IVF salesman. Save yourself the heartache and money and find someone with your best interest at heart. After meeting with Dr. Sweet only once (over video call), and without having any blood work or examinations done, he told me I would never conceive on my own and that my only option to have a child was IVF. He also belittled my other doctors and their opinions saying “he’s knows more than them”. Well Dr. Sweet it turns out that you do not, in fact, know it ALL. After following the advice of the Doctor you knew more than i was able to conceive on my own and am In my second trimester as i write this. My virtual visit with you left me distraught, depressed and without hope. You were rude, without empathy and cocky. It is doctors like you that make me lose faith in the medical system.

It’s taken me a long time to be able to write this review but after two rounds of IVF and Dr Sweet telling me I’d “never have my own biological children” and pushing his donor program on me we decided to get another opinion.After six weeks of trying to get my medical records (calling every day) from him, we went to CNY Fertility and the doctors changed my protocol and I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my own baby with more embryos in ice!I can’t tell you what to do but just because he used to have a great reputation doesn’t me he does now and please, please see someone else.

Update: The management has updated their processes & systems, and are quick and responsive now.Dr Sweets office did assist us through a successful pregnancy a little over a year ago, however the office mangement is now non-existent. Ive contacted the office 5 times, and either no one returns my call, and/or they cant provide basic answers. Im rather disappointed with the way they have been treating an established patient who is interested in using their services again.

I am posting a review because they did a great job. Dr. Sweat is extremely intelligent and will give you no BS which is how I prefer it. The ivf coordinator, Jilly is very sweet and always there if you need to ask questions. I am pregnant on my first round with them (had a failed cycle with a different provider before moving here). I highly recommend their practice and give them a 10/10.

Dr. Sweet is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him! As we’ve also been treated in several large facilities in NY/NJ, I can say that the service we got from Dr. Sweet is second to none.He has always explained things clearly and made sure that our questions were answered since we began the journey and knew nothing about IUI, IVF etc. What I appreciated the most is that after our first failed IVF, he reviewed lots of literature and devised a customized treatment plan specifically for us. I can tell he truly cares about his patients and did not treat us like a number.The clinic staff are all very kind and the clinic is well run in general. Many of them are actually exceptional. Occasionally they can’t reply to messages as fast due to a busy cycle.

Tyler and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sweet and his team. You may have not got us pregnant but you helped us understand everything and continued to do so even after and went above and beyond! We are so thankful for you and everything you do!

Dr. Sweet is incredibly thorough, which, after having 2 losses, is needed. He explains everything, and gives you his rationale for why he is ordering/doing something. He will not do anything that is unnecessary and looks at the facts. During procedures he explains what he is going to do before he does it! He has great bedside manner and a sense of humor, which comes in handy when feeling anxious. He is not for the faint of heart, meaning, dont expect him to sugar coat, beat around the bush, or tell you what you want to hear, which is what I like most about his practice. He is well educated and well versed in his craft. I am grateful to have his help and expertise.

My husband and I tried to conceive for over 5 years, I was starting to lose all hope until a friend recommended us to Dr. Sweet. Trying to pinpoint my fertility issues was stressful but Dr Sweet was so helpful . After having two different surgeries we decided to do IVF. The process was so smooth thanks to my IVF nurse Rebecca who helped us every step of the way. She was there for me right away whenever I needed her, and re-assured me that everything would be OK. We were truly blessed to find Dr. Sweet and his amazing staff, he is the most knowledgeable and precise Dr on the planet! I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and my husband and I couldnt be more excited!!!! Our dream is finally coming true! Dr. Sweet is a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor. I had an ectopic pregnancy in April 2017. He was on top of this from the start, checking me every few days, and brought me in for multiple ultrasounds to make sure his suspicions were correct, but he also took time in determining it was not an intrauterine pregnancy as to not make a mistake and terminate a healthy pregnancy. I stand firmly in my belief that had it not been for Dr. Sweet, I would no longer have my right tube. Although, I feel the tube is useless to me now anyway, he saved me from what I imagine would have been excruciating pain from having it rupture, or worse, death, had the ectopic pregnancy not been caught so quickly. He may not be the warm and fuzzy type of doctor -- but I do not go to him for that. I go to him because simply, I trust him and know he is the best at what he does. I will say, though, and I will never forget it, that he hugged me as I left his office the day he gave me the medication to terminate the pregnancy, after I wished him a good weekend. I will never forget that kindness. The only reason I took a star off is because of his staff. His staff is the face of his business. Waiting weeks for phone calls -- and once it was a month -- is unacceptable. As someone who works in a customer service type field, I would be fired if I did not return calls in a timely manner. However, I have noticed an improvement with his staff lately, which makes me happy. He deserves to have responsive and competent individuals representing him and his office. Thank you, Dr. Sweet. I started going to Dr. Sweet for unexplained infertility but he made my experience so well. After all the test work ups he recommended an IUI and he never tried to get me to do more just for money. We did the IUI and it worked for us! Highly recommend him!

At first visit I just did not get the right feeling from him, he bashed other doctors who did previous surgeries meanwhile it was a surgery I very much needed. He claimed he wouldn’t have done things the way my doctor did and to me that was so unprofessional. I felt like it was all about the money and he said we aren’t in a rush and to try plan a, b, and c because I was young and had time. He has no idea what it’s like dealing with infertility and no one just wants to waste time, energy, and money if the odds are against you just because he wants to “try” first. I asked to have my husband tested and he told me with all my problems I have he doubts there is anything wrong with him but to me we were willing to at least check to know what we were dealing with. I felt like I was an experiment to him and he did exams I repeatedly said I was not comfortable with. He insisted to do them when I tried to avoid them and I still feel like they were very unnecessary and inappropriate months later. I have had no other doctor do an exam like that in my life. I just honestly have never felt more uncomfortable around a doctor in my life. I hope I can help someone else from wasting their time and seek a professional and compassionate fertility doctor like I finally found who listened to us and got us pregnant within 2 months. I wish I had done my research and saved myself the wasted time and money.

Dr.Sweet is more then capable at what he does and I hold his expertise at a high regards. He is very matter of fact and gives the best advice as possible. My husband and I are very pleased with him as we have still a long road ahead of us Dr.Sweet reassures us we are in the best hands and under his care. We would highly recommend him.As I am a patient of Dr.Sweet now I am currently seeking fertility treatment and feel that since Rebecca is no longer with the staff it seems as if the quality of service had depleted, if Rebecca was still working there I would have rated this much higher. Her knowledge and understanding of this complex topic is excellent and she is very aware of what the patients need and how to explain the process as it is such a delicate matter. I hope for everyone to be as lucky as I am to deal with such a great nurse as she has helped me so much and has gone above and beyond to help put me at ease. I would urge this facility to take action and have Rebecca there full time, she makes this stressful situation seem much easier somehow with her there.

The worst/most bizarre experience of my life. Had my first appointment with Dr. Sweet last week and made a plan for blood work and ultrasound on day 8 of my cycle. Started my cycle that night and made my appointment for my ultrasound the next day. Was uncertain after my first appointment because when the medical assistant took my intake she was very unprofessional and said she had never heard of my symptoms before, which didnt make me feel confident in their abilities.Felt extremely sick two days before my appointment and had a positive pregnancy test. At my appointment I tell the medical assistant first thing that I was trying not to be excited because I had just started my cycle and it was likely a false positive.The medical assistant sets me up for my ultrasound and when she leaves I can hear her and the doctor arguing with each other because he didnt know I had the positive test ahead of time and I felt very uncomfortable.Dr. Sweet then comes in the room and without greeting me or even looking at me yells at me for withholding information from him and not calling before my appointment to tell him about the test. He even goes as far to acuse me of being dishonest about having difficulty getting pregnant. After further scolding he eventually refused to see me for the appointment and sent me out to the desk staff. If he had come in and said due to hearing the news about a positive test I want to go in another direction that wouldve been fine. Not once did I ever ask for the ultrasound. I came to the appointment to get his professional opinion and was refused to be seen and called a liar because I had positive pregnancy test. Not once did he ever tell me to call if I had a positive test, or any changes for that matter. I didnt think I would go to a fertility specialist and get scolded for a positive test. He still charged my copay and this is medical fraud.

I was a patient of Dr. Sweet for 5yrs. About a year ago, almost overnight, he had all new staff. They were clearly inexperienced. I overlooked numerous mistakes, and misinformation, but lost faith in the practice in the middle of my second failed IVF cycle. Dr. Sweet has too many student observers; the office is crowded and stressful. He gets defensive if he feels that you are questioning his decisions. I switched to Dr. Glock, he succeeded where Dr. Sweet failed. Never going back to Dr. Sweet.

Dr. Sweet and his team are amazing. His IVF coordinator Rebecca is exceptional, she was always quick to answer my questions and calm me when I was nervous or scared. The team takes a hard situation of infertility, and makes it as positive of a situation as they can.

My embryo is being refused to be transferred into me ( corrected so no confusion) because I inquired at another office due to the fact that sweet didn’t have an embryologist, and my insurance needs to do another ivf this year to save us money. So dr sweet after 7 years as patients is refusing to transfer MY embryo into me I have to pay $2000 (new clinic) to transfer to a new facility and I have yet to get my $740 credit back to me from sweets office after numerous phone calls. I have spoke to the new office manager he promises to call me back and I continue to get no where. I used to have full trust in this dr but we did nothing wrong! I feel utterly betrayed as a human being treated this way when we did nothing wrong but follow advice from his office , Always paid our bills, listened to him, showed up to appts and I’m getting treAted this way. I simply wouldn’t recommend this clinic because the staff is terrible and what dr sweet is doing to us is terrible.

Dr. Sweet is the best in town, please do not waste your time, money and hopes going somewhere else. Dr. Sweet is up to date with the latest developments in reproductive medicine, making the whole process easier for his patients. Believe me I had 3 failed IVF with another doctor in town and we almost gave up, after 3 unsuccessful tries, thousands of dollars, physical waste and so many sleepless night we are happy to say that Dr. Sweet IVF was a total success on the first try, I am 7 months pregnant with a healthy baby boy, we cant express our happiness and gratitude to Dr. Sweet and staff, our only regret not having seen him before.

Dr. Sweet and his entire staff were incredibly helpful. They listened patiently, answered all of our questions, and most importantly, helped us get pregnant! I am a teacher, and they helped me schedule appointments around my busy school schedule so that I didnt have to miss work too often. We are both appreciative of the wonderful care we received.

Referred to his office by a fantastic dr., waited 2 1/2months for an appointment to be called the day prior to confirm and to make a payment of $50.00. I asked why I couldn’t pay upon my arrival for my appointment in less than 24hrs. She stated, this is to ensure you don’t cancel. I’m a new patient, never called to reschedule or anything of the sort. Then the day of my appointment I met with Dr. Sweet who had the absolute worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. He was impatient, rude and demanding. I wouldn’t recommend him for anything except retirement.

My wife and I cant express in words how truly greatfull we are for the whole team. Dr. Sweet makes everything very clear from day one and spends as much time as it takes to answer your questions. Being a civil engineer my knowledge of medical terminology is limited but Dr. Sweet always spoke to us in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciate his professionalism and always including the husband on the process too, if he called my wife he would take the extra effort to conference call me also. I would reccomend Specials in Reproductive Medicine to anyone who needs this type of Doctor. Thank you Dr. Sweet, Dr. Gao, Rebecca, Heidi and the whole office!

Dr. Sweet is brilliant. He was able to diagnose an issue my regular gyno was unable to, but also found other fertility issues that hadnt been addressed before. He basically saved my fighting chance at having kids before it was too late!

Really bad and rude Doctor , my first meeting was through web can and the Dr sweet was very rude , unprofessional and disrespectful, it was really hard to for me to understand him because my English is not so good and when my husband explain to me what the Doctor was telling he proceed to tell me in a really bad manner and rude tone ........You dont understand me when Im talking to you ?, why you have to ask your husband, I felt in the hold meeting like in an interrogation stead of the doctor trying to help me, I felt like he was accusing me of a crime I committed, at he end of the meeting he charged me $ 100 , he also sent me some test that I could not do it because the facility where I need to do the test asked me if I was allergic and I did know know about that so they told me that I need to ask the Dr who sent the procedure to do a test to see if I was allergic to the procedure, after that information I called the Dr office 2 times and the 2 times they transfer me to the Dr assistant voice mail cause she never was available to talk to me so I left 2 voice mail, 13 days later she never returned my calls , and at day 14 my husband called the office again and they transfer the call again to the Dr assistant , my husband was able to talk to her and she told him that they can not do a test to see if Im allergic to the procedure or not , she said to him that she will check with the Dr to find out , that is when Dr call me same day in the afternoon to tell me that he will send a letter by mail ( of course like always he was very rude in that phone call also ). A few days I received a letter by mail saying that he can not help me with my reproductive problems. This was my worse experience so far in US with a Doctor and I spend $ 100 for nothing , Im writing this in Google so no one will go thru this bad experience like I did, please stay away from Dr sweet , no wonder he has so many bad reviews in Google.

Update: On March 22, I went in for my first OB ultra sound after being released from Dr. Sweets office at 8 weeks. Out of our last three we had one embryo that took!! When I showed up to my OB office at 10.5 weeks, unfortunately, there was no heart beat. This was now my third miscarriage and as you can imagine, my husband and I were devastated. Out of 7, yes 7 embryos, not one resulted in a full term pregnancy. Things happen and there are things we can not control, but there are also things that an office can control, such as billing. My husband and I have been patients of this office for over 4 years. When you freeze your embryos, you have to pay a storage fee for those embryos. My transfer was done in Jan 2018, which was my last three. In April, I logged onto my credit card statement and noticed I was still being billed for the monthly charge. I immediately contracted my IVF nurse Rebecca, who is by far the BEST nurse around, and she pointed me to the person in charge of the billing. I was advised that the pmts are set up automatically and there is no way for them to know when to stop the payments. I simply asked for my money to be refunded, which it was. Mistakes happen. Now lets fast forward to July 5th. I walk out to get the mail and receive a bill in the mail from this office for over $5,000. I called right away and left a message to have some one call me first thing to discuss. No one called me back the first hour they were open, so I called back. Of course, transferred to the person who is in charge of billing at which I left another VM. After another 2 1/2 hours, I called back. After being on hold for over 10 min, I finally was connected to the person in charge of the billing. I explained the situation and my past billing issues to the billing specialist, who then replies that she just started in March and is trying to go through and correct everything. Mind you, back in Jan, before my transfer, I paid in full the cost of the FET. She stated that they did find my two payments that I made back in January and will now be applying them to my account on July 6th. She then also informed me that I was still owing 700.00. I of course ask, for what? She then asked what kind of transfer I had. I told her I had a natural frozen embryo transfer, at which I was advised it showed a medically assisted transfer. So, I was billed for the wrong transfer type and over billed. You can imagine how irritated I was to say the least. Dr. Sweet is a very smart Dr and is knowledgable, when it comes to infertility. Also, he genuinely cares about his patients and does his very best. Unfortunately, given these issues, I am not confident that if we did IVF again, that there would not be any of these issues arise. Infertility is hard enough, on top of miscarrying multiple time, and no one should have to be dealing with billing issues 6 months after the fact, especially when it is not the patients fault.

I went to Dr. Sweet because he said he wanted to be a miracle blessing to me & my husband and he could provide us Grade A quality embryos very quickly. He insisted that we travel to Ft.Myers to consult with him & have all of my medical testing repeated w him as he did not trust others doctors records & procedures that had verified my general health, uterine health & hormone levels. Even though I had just seen Dr. Silber in St. Louis (very well respected top US MDs affiliated w a hospital). He said his clinic need the same procedures repeated 2 months later. Being positive that this would work I paid the money cash & began treatment. He said it could take 1-2 attempts but not more than that because they had the best embryos of any clinic. I got to choose if I wanted 2 or 3 embryos but on the day of the procedure he & his embryologist said the embryos were sooo good that they couldnt possibly take a chance to put 3 in- they strongly urged me to only take the 2 embryos, they could not in good conscience put 3 in as I would have multiple births & at my age I could not afford that to happen for my own health (although women are having babies in their late 40s & early 50s today w healthy twins at that)!The pregnancy did not occur so we spoke on the phone as to what the next step would be. I decided to move forward w another attempt. I paid cash again for the services & he said I could pick 2 or 3 embryos & then again they said these embryos are even stronger than the last ones there is no way they could put 3 inside of me & they did not want to skew their numbers so high that they looked like they were not being honest on their records, as they have such a high taken rate on successful pregnancies. So I opted again against my instinct to only have 2 transferred. They were rated grade A+ embryos. I was going to take a 3rd round & pay cash again but when on the phone again w Dr. Sweet said, Jeanine I have a responsibility to these embryos to provide them the best chance at survival & to put them where they can have a chance to live. Its like real estate. you buy a piece of property & you have been sinking money into it & you come to realize that this property no longer is worth putting anymore money into. The property is not going to give you the return you are wanting. It is better to just cut your losses. I was so caught off guard & completely devastated by his comments I couldnt even respond. He said it was up to me if I wanted to move forward to another transfer but he could not in good conscience do more than 3 rounds w me because he wanted to put these babies in a place where they had a chance at life. I decided not to take a third round as I was really battling with emotional rebound about my own self. I sent the embryo pictures to 2 different embryologist, both clinics said AT BEST they might be a grade B. I should not have been surprised as he stated that one of my former doctors in Atlanta that I had seen is just money hungry & still working at his old age because his wife divorced him & got most of his money. He told me & my husband this on the very first consultation appointment. I should have known that was unethical & completely inappropriate, but if you are wanting a baby you know just how badly we want to move forward w having our family started. Six months after I decided not to come to the clinic for the 3rd time I received a bill for over $200 for that 20 minute devastating & degrading phone call. I called & emailed to Karina the accounting lady & she only responded with it is a phone consultation fee. My husband called & left a message and we did not hear back from them for another several months when they sent a bill & said it was going to collections- they would not talk to us until this time & she said he is not budging on the fee. You have a right to know. I was not told that he was charging me for a phone call to decide what the next step would be, as we did this on the last treatment and there was no charge, maybe because I decided to move forward w another treatment. Beware~

Poor communication with staff members in the office. They scheduled me for blood work in certain parameters related to my menstrual cycle and was unable to collect labs on me due to there scheduling error x2 occasion. Each visit they still have not obtained my medical records , even after signing the medical release forms twice. No curtisity calls or apt remember. Non compassion to my needs as a whole obgyn group. I have not been back to Dr. Sweet and still no follow up calls on my plan of care related to fertility issues.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Sweet really goes out of his way to explain every step of the process and makes sure youre informed and comfortable. He truly cares and it shows in every aspect of his practice. Very glad we chose him! :)

Very knowledgeable and a no bs kind of guy which I really enjoy infertility is a touchy subject but he directs it with a head on approach giving you all the knowledge you need to be confident you’re making the right choice. I’d recommend Dr.Sweet to ANYBODY.

I can say that the doctor is not attended me correctly. He is in bad shape, and he does not give me a solution or an explanation. He is bad way the patient, it is a shame, because I have a beautiful daughter, but his previous work.

I’ve heard Dr Sweet is amazing at what he does, but you have to get through the front office staff to get to him. They were unprofessional, had no communication skills, and incompetent. Good luck

Always bring a loved one in during exams. Never let it be just you, him, and the staff chosen to observe.

I tried contacting this office multiple times to schedule an appointment and inquire about insurance coverage and what we need to do. They never returned calls and always seemed like me contacting them was an inconvenience. Clearly they do not want my business.
