NextCare Urgent Care Flagstaff

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Next Urgent Care in. The staff was incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. They made me feel unwelcome and treated my concerns as an inconvenience. Their unprofessional behavior and lack of empathy were shocking. I was left waiting far too long, and when finally seen, the treatment was rushed and impersonal. I will never return to this vile, unpleasant place again.

I had come to this location about a year ago and wasn’t too impressed by the care I received, but I came back again just a few days ago for a walk-in and I was brought back pretty quickly considering I had no appointment, the staff was super kind from the front office, triage nurse, and the FNP. I overall left really happy with the way I was treated.

Came in with an appointment made and didn’t get seen until 35 mins after scheduled time. Waiting room was spotless and the staff was great besides experiences with the front desk. Unfortunately didn’t catch their names but front desk staff were talking about other patients and complaining openly for other people in the lobby to hear. The front desk was rude and short in a passive way. Good place for easy testing, don’t know if I would recommend for long term.

We had an appointment and they were not busy. Still had to wait much longer than expected.I was told they would call with the four-year-old’s test results in two days. They never called. It was a horrible experience trying to get the test results. I had to call multiple times. They finally called me at 7 PM. I do not recommend NextCare. P.S. The pricing was extremely aggressive. $474 for urinalysis/culture and five minutes of a nurse practitioners time.

Place was clean and neat. The front desk was manned by Valeria. She was very friendly and helpful!!! The medical assistant, Justin was very nice also. And the nurse practitioner, Jared Rodriguez was awesome. I just complained about a cold, but I would highly recommend this NextCare Urgent care. Im from Tucson and I havent found one I liked yet!!!

I was worried I might have pneumonia. I felt the staff was friendly and the wait area and exam rooms were spotless. Jared, the medical professional I saw, was professional, caring, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility to anyone with an urgent care need. The visit exceeded my expectations.

Making an appointment was easy in line.I received wonderful compassionate care from two practitioners. One of them even gave me an injection which I hardly felt at all.

I called and was told there was no wait so I showed up around 9:00 am and was then told that I would have to wait until 10:15am for an appointment. I came back at 10:15 and the nurse would call other names of people who showed up far later than me. I waited in the lobby for around 40 minutes before the nurse called me back despite blatantly ignoring me and choosing others as a perceived form of favoritism. She rolled her eyes at me and seemed short tempered and rude. She told me she was doing a strep test but did not tell me that a swab would go down my throat. I started gagging and the nurse then left without saying anything. I waited another 30-40 minutes before the PA finally came in. The PA was nice and respectfully and I was discharged. I then waited in the lobby for an additional 20 minutes and was told that the discharge papers were not available. All together, I waited approximately 90minutes from my scheduled appointment to leaving and never received any discharge papers. The front desk receptionist was unhelpful and cold while the nurse was rude and showed favoritism towards other patients.

Love this urgent care facility. Was greeted upon entering office and seen promptly. ( did make an appt online). It was nice to be ableto complete all necessary paperwork online before we arrived making it an easy check in process. The staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome. We have found are new go to if needed.

We arrived on time, had difficulty completing the registration on-line and had another wait. It was now 45 minutes past our appointment time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The provider was especially patient and succeeded in his task. Wish it could have been done faster. Thanks to everyone for helping out strangers!

We had two appointments for sports physicals which is very straight forward. It took one hour before we were even called back and then we proceeded to sit in the room for another 25 minutes. By the time we left, it had been an hour and 40 minutes for what should have taken about 20-25 minutes. I do not understand why it took so long and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location.

I was greeted with a smile and kind professionalism. The NP was through, pleasant and knowledgeable. His assist was kind and gentle with my treatment. The staff here is exceptional !!! And, I was done in less than 1.5 hours.

Staff are horrible to interact with. they are rude and treat you poorly. medical staff do not have patients best interest in mind and instead do what is convenient. facilities are also filthy and poorly taken care of. AVOID AT ALL COSTS GO ANYWHERE ELSE

NextCare always come through for me when the unexpected hits. Just like any other healthcare center, the medical staff is working hard and deserves a little extra kindness for the hard work and dedication caring for so many patients.New QR code for parking is a little strange (it’s still free but must be validated). Seems on par for flagstaff and parking issues though, just remember to do so from now on.I’ve been here a few times for different concerns. This time, I was having a rough time with the Flu and they took good care of me. The Doctor that helped me this time took the time to explain my symptoms and recovery process. I felt this was excellent care.The front medical staff checking in patient was very quick, polite and friendly as well. Making my sick day just a little easier.Thanks again NextCare flagstaff team!!

I appreciated the prompt and attentive care. I definitely appreciated the splint; a lot!I wish they wouldnt have just told me to go to the ortho office without telling me to call ahead. Since it wasnt an acute injury, I needed an appointment.

Everytime i come here they always gaslight you into thinking nothing is wrong with you and then charge you out the wazoo. Came here a few years ago and could barely breathe and coughing all day and night. But when i came into this nextcare they told me to “just wait it off” and charged me over $300. Now my fiancé came in because he had some health issues that was causing him pain and they told him “you’re fine, just change your lifestyle.” Very unprofessional and no help at all. Not to mention, my fiancé got a voicemail from the doctor today telling him to call them back and when he did, the girl at the front desk told him to wait for the doctor to call and to “stop being so impatient.” Ridiculously horrible service. Would not recommend going here at all. Save your money and go somewhere else with actual doctors who are willing to help out.

Loved the doc. Very thorough and engaging. First NextCare office we were sent to online on Humphrey in Flagstaff was closed even though I had a confirmed online appt but fortunately the second NextCare office was open and not busy.

Developed a fever last night along with pre-existing allergy symptoms, was worried about potential Covid. Went because online it showed they accept walk-in and when I got there, only one person was in the waiting room but the next walk-in time wasn’t for over an hour. So I scheduled an appointment for this morning at 8:30. I checked in about 8:00 and they changed my appointment time to 8:15. I went in and the doors were locked and the lights were out. I called this office several times, and knocked, called the customer service line. 8:15 came and went, 8:20, finally at 8:30 the receptionist came in and was like is the door locked and I said yes, she went around back to get in and someone else came to the door. When I went to the desk to finish my check in, I was told that they would try to squeeze me in.

Had an emergency and Dr and nurse were absolutely wonderful. Front desk person was very very rude and demanded my husband call the person Maam. Ummm Never demand how a person addresses you.

This place sucks. They charge for parking so you add that into the long wait time just to be triaged. We have been here over 1 hour and forty three minutes. Still no triage. Yet they were quick on getting the copays. Reception is shaggy and not professional. The Nextcare in Tucson treated us better than Flagstaff. This place is a joke. Don’t put money into tgem

Waited for an hour to go back for under 10 minutes. I’m not going to take the day off if it’s not serious and got to urgent care. Front office staff was nice. I went in to test for something that I get multiple times a year, she looked at the area and then told me I was fine without any follow up of my medical history with this. Waste of money and time, “if it gets worse come back” why do you think I came in in the first place.

Prompt professional service. They got me in and out quickly and even did my labs there! Dolores and Jared, FNP are awesome! Great customer service!

Dolores and Ignacio made my experience to Urgent Care very pleasant. Even though I was in a lot of pain during my visit, they both managed to make me laugh and feel better. Definitely recommend

This was literally the easiest best experience of an urgent Care Ive ever had we walked in and the front desk person had the best attitude and super helpful, it seems like she was like that with all the guest.

Staff was very nice and helpfulDr saw me in a timely manner and was professional. Would definitely use this Urgent Care again if need be.

Where to begin. Having never been to this location, I pulled in and saw signs posted throughout the parking lot saying to pay for parking. It then said your doctor could validate your parking. I followed the instructions given to pay with your phone as my sick child was in the backseat. Upon entering, the receptionist asked if we had an appointment. This wasnt an option on the website. It said I would have to walk in. The receptionist asked if my son had been there before, which I said no. They asked for his name, and as I spelled it, they continued to misspell it throughout the interaction before finally asking to see my ID. Once theyd finished, they said, I dont see him in our system. Hes been to NextCare before? To which I answered again, no. Finally, they asked what we needed to be seen for. My son had been vomiting since the night before, couldnt keep fluids down, and now has a fever. They gave me the new patient paperwork and asked me to sit down to fill it out. I obliged with a sick toddler on my lap. Only a few questions in and they asked us to come back up to the desk. I gathered our things again and went up. They were told by the provider that because of his symptoms we would need an ED visit. I explained Im not waiting on an ED for 6 hours to get Zofran. Its the weekend, peds are closed, thats why we came to urgent care. We were sent away without ever seeing the provider to truly determine that he should go to the ED.The ridiculousness of this interaction was topped off when I asked to validate the parking I wouldnt be needing. The receptionist said you dont have to pay, we have a code here that you use. As this code was on the desk and not in the parking lot next to the signs that say you need to pay, Im not sure how I was suppose to magically know this, but it was par for the course with the rest of the experience. I hope my experience is not the norm, I understand Im just one person. But I am also a mother trying to care for my sick child. I saw red and stormed out. Next time, I hope the provider offers the courtesy of at least looking at the patient before determining severity.

Valeria was amazing. Front desk was nothing but kind and patient with me as I was having issues with my insurance info. Saw Dr. Rodriguez and he quickly gave me answers. Very fast and easy visit.

This is the best urgent care I have encountered. It exceeded my expectations so greatly. They are thoughtful kind and competent They listened with empathy. I highly recommend them.I have returned three times and would not go to another acute care in town. They also have a very large comfortable waiting room

I needed to see a doctor while traveling on Memorial Day. All their appointments were booked, but I was treated as a walk-in. I found everyone to be very sympathetic and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location!

I booked an appointment on line at Malpais location, appointment gets confirmed drove to location only to find a sign on the door stating they were closed and apologized for the inconvenience. I then call the other location on Humphreys and receptionist apologized profusely stating that she didnt know why app was still allowing option to book an appointment. I received text at 5:47pm stating appt at Malpais location had been canceled. Needless to say was very mad and it for certainly was an inconvenience.

The staff was great, but I don’t think there was enough people working. It was a Sunday so maybe that’s normal. I was just in town visiting so very pleased that they were open and able to help me.

I used to really like this clinic. Especially the Malpais location. Anytime I had a cold or.easy deal with need I preferred to.go there. I know they are people tok and people make mistakes. However within thepasr mon th they made mistakes that couldve been avoided by asking a coupl3 more questions and taking a couple of extra minutes. My son-in-law and I both wanted to try to avoid exposing his brand new sin ro bronchitis. We were both told mutluple times with worsening cough and other symptoms that they were just alergirs coughs and they were nothing. Mine turned into double pneumonia and his to bronchitis. We tried and faild to do the right thing.

The front desk lady was polite, but about as helpful as a light switch in 1492 BC. The doctor was knowledgeable and quick.

Had a great experience, staff is very friendly and attentive. I wish I could make this place my primary care doctor. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Paid $75 for the doctor to not listen to me and do absolutely nothing for me. downplayed everything and ignored the main issue of why I came for a much easier excuse like use my inhaler more even though I made it more than clear I use it as much as is healthy and am unwell during every other minute when asked about the pain I came in for was told to take a Tylenol complete waste of my time and money icing on the cake is the front desk ladies chatting about how patients should get over it when they cant perform the basic functions of their job

Everyone was very friendly and informative. Never felt scolded they just talked me through my next steps kindly which I really appreciated. Wish there were more providers like this around where I live!

Checked the website 2 hours before going in, wouldnt let me schedule a same day appointment despite being 4 hours before closing but it said walk-ins are still available with no-one in line. Went in (checking again, website still saying walk-ins available), and was denied to be seen with 2 patients in the lobby and 2 hours until closing. Great urgency from this urgent care. Just straight up lazy

Great experience the staff was super friendly and professional also the fastest DOT physical Ive ever done definitely recommend.

I came in with a bad cold, and infections in my eyes and ears due to that cold, with bad coughing developing. I felt terrible and getting worse by the hour. The PA there listened to me about my symptoms, did his exam, and gave me a comprehensive set of treatments and further actions to take. I would rate the care as very comprehensive, very professional, and very responsive to my symptoms. We went to NextCare because people we knew had good experience there, and we absolutely did also.

I came in to get treated for an injury and was told to sit down while the clerk helped someone else. I will not come back here ever again. Talk about urgent care my $&@:!

Good experience especially as far as urgent care goes. Saw Ryan the PA and he was great. Front desk experience was ok.

As I explain my experience at this urgent care, I recognize that this is a place to get patients in and out with their needed treatment, however, the treatment I was received was PARTIAL, and had no care for its completion. I thought it to be pointless to write a review on google of all places but after the NUMEROUS amount of times I had to contact, and contact, and contact this place (seriously, three times one day), for me STILL TO THIS DAY, not get a call back for a solution/treatment is RIDICULOUS, and not so ‘urgent care’ of them.I went in to get same day treatment that I couldn’t wait a week for (which my home clinic only had availability for), as most people do, and although I was seen quickly, the very painful illness I was seen for, was not believed to be current. I have had a history of this illness & I know the signs and symptoms my body shows me, and while being adamant to the provider about this, I was still advised a TEMPORARY treatment until they received more results to confirm. While being grateful for this treatment for the time it was given to me, (because at least this dealt with my pain) prior to the last day of my prescription, I had still not been updated on the results they were waiting for. I called asking, was told they would reach out to said provider & should be answered that same day, yet didn’t hear back from them that day. Next day, I call again, was told the same thing, but the provider did actually contact me back! I unfortunately missed the call, but she left me a voicemail saying the results had not come back yet and they were still waiting! Great!! However, I had finished my temporary treatment that day, so how will I be treated for the symptoms the next day & following days until my illness is gone?? This was only a PARTIAL solution, yes I did get my answer, but what is the plan & procedure? I call again. They tell me they will relay my messages and get back to me the same day. Guess what? Still no response, and honestly I have given up on trying to receive treatment & went somewhere else.I would also like to add, most of their staff are not very welcoming & have little people skills. I was even judged by the girl at the front desk when she implied something that was not the case, when she could have asked rather than assume!Thank you! But no thank you! I will be going elsewhere from now on and urge everyone else to as well, as it is apparent they only half care.

The ladies are great! Fast for a urgent care. The Dr was super nice! We went to the Flagstaff location behind Jack n the Box.. I just wished they did x-rays in house but all in all a good experience!

Brought my son and daughter to be seen the intake nurse was nice and my kids really liked her. Dr was very nice and also great with kids. They were patient and kind with them. Front desk people seemed a little distracted with eachother. Only complaint i have is waiting on the prescriptions to be sent to the pharmacy.

Front desk people were very short in response, rather gossip to each other than help seemed like. Doctor was rude and confused on why i was there. i clearly wasn’t feeling good and wanted some probiotics. nothing was done to help me besides telling me to drink water. Had to go to phx and see another doctor to get proper medication for being sick for a week. won’t be returning to this urgent care ever again thanks for nothing and a waste of money and my time.

I came in for a TB test and the front office staff were kind, the clinic was clean, and the wait time was short considering there were others in line ahead of me.

I am so happy with the care that my son and I get here! Both of us have a hard time getting in to our doctors when we need a same day appointment, but were always able to get in here! I always feel good about the quality of care, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The site says they take walk ins till closing time. Showed up at 2:40 feeling awful with strep, and was told they were all full for the day, but I could try again tomorrow. They didnt close till 4pm! If you are not actually going to take walk ins, then dont advertise you take walk ins.

Scheduled an appt ahead of time. Quick process, Heidi was prompt and professional. Clean and new building is always nice too. I would come back again if needed.

I have been so grateful for this urgent care since moving to Flagstaff. It’s the only place I have been able to get URGENT care for my children. Upon arriving today with my severely sick child, after waiting 4 hours in the ER to not be seen, I was told by the incredibly unfriendly person at the front desk that we couldn’t be checked in for an hour and a half because she was waiting for the appointments to show. There was no one in that waiting room, and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I cannot wait to get back to Phoenix where there is actually healthcare for my children and friendly staff members.

The nurse that helped us was great. Unfortunately, they have outrageous costs of services. We saw them for maybe 20 minutes and it was like $340…which is like what, $1000 per hour?! So I wouldn’t recommend going there unless it’s an absolute must and you’re rich or have insurance with a small co-pay. They don’t offer fees based on a sliding scale or payments.

Next care was so good to us!! They treated both me and my 1 year old with so much care. Only complaint is that communication between the office and the pharmacy was not the best and I had to call them both multiple times to get a prescription adjusted because they couldn’t get ahold of each other. Luckily it all worked out!

The nicest staff, from the front desk, to the nurse that took me back to take vitals, and then the Dr, who was so warm and made me feel heard and he genuinely cared about making me feel better. I love this location and can’t say enough about nextcare urgent care in flagstaff. I almost forgot to mention the on line process in the beginning, you can make an appointment, and then show up, and they take you right back. The entire process is flawless, and the staff went above and beyond to help me and make me feel better. 10 plus experience, thank you 🫶🏻

I went to the nextcare on Humphreys and they were only doing televisits, so I went to the one over on malapais behind dairy Queen and Im glad I did! The people in the front were amazing the doctor was beyond amazing and his MA was just wonderful. They got me in and out without rushing me. The Dr explained everything to me and was just so kind and seem to take extra care and time with me than I would expect from an urgent care! Must say in my 17 yrs here he was hand down best Dr Ive been to!Absolutely recommend you go here I think its better if you have an appointment but they do do walk-ins and I was seen within an hour or so. Thanks guys so much!

Great service! Take time to fill out your paperwork before hand and show up a little early before your appointment and they get you right in. Delores was friendly and fun!

I had to get some stitches removed on Friday and the nurse who took care of me (Dolores) was the sweetest woman on the planet! And honestly everyone in that office was very kind. They were extremely busy when I arrived and I thought that it was a great show of character that despite the stress they were still going above and beyond for their patients!

Great doctor, quick once we got to the back room. But we had a long waiting room time despite having an appointment.. and we only gave three stars because we had a really rude medical assistant, she was very short and not at all friendly. She didnt explain the procedure of a strep culture and just shoved a swab down my sons throat and got after him for moving his face back after she just grabbed him. Horrible bed side manner from her and we just felt like a number to her instead of actual people. The doctor was great though! Friendly front person as well.

The staff was SO kind to me. They were very efficient and I just cant stress how nice they were. It was clean, everything was easy to understand, and staff was willing to explain anything I had questions about! Next Care is Amazing! Very helpful with all my issues this far! BOTH locations have been amazing and the cool thing is the care provider was the same nurse practitioner (I cant recall his name rt now but I will be sure to ask next time! He helped me out both times at both locations HE DESERVES A MEDAL! literal Superman!) he must work both locations super friendly and does amazing job! I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The facilities were really nice and clean. The people were friendly, they moved fast. The doctor was great, all the nurses were great and was just a good experience. Ive never been to one before. That was my first one, and ill definitely be going back.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. The nurse and physician assistant had excellent bed side manner, better than any urgent cares I have gone to in the past. I really wasn’t feeling well but their attitudes and knowledge really eased my mind. I cannot say enough good things about my appointment!

Really grateful for the care we received for my son today. Both the nurse and provider were thoughtful in addressing my son’s symptoms. They were kind and thorough, and we were called back promptly.

Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had at any urgent care, hospital or clinic. From check-in to check-out, I was just amazed at how nice everyone was. They did not make me feel like a burden, as most healthcare places do.My issue was addressed, treated and I was discharged. It all went very smoothly and I was 100% treated with kindness and respect.

Appt process was easy and fast. Was being seen by a caregiver within 90 minutes, and within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Medical staff I saw were thorough, polite, and attentive to my concerns. Left with a reasonable treatment plan and a lot of peace of mind. Not that urgent care is the place you ever want to be, but I am glad this was the place I went to.

Even though I had an appointment, my wait time was pretty long - HOWEVER - service was so good that the wait didnt merit taking a star off my overall rating. I was treated with the utmost empathy and compassion by all the staff - even after what Im sure was a very long day for them all. I never felt rushed and the NP took time to make me feel comfortable and explain everything to me in clear easy to understand language. I left feeling like my concerns had been heard and addressed. I would very much recommend this urgent care location!

I was suffering from sore throat and went to urgent care thought I can get the medication asap coz my throat was way worse but I was wrong. After online checked in I waited for more than two hours after tgen the lady nurse came and called up my name and she walked me over the room and after checking my vitals she told me doctor will be here in short but doctor came to check me after 50 minutes of waiting in small room with body temperature 101 F and sore throat. The front desk staff is rude they don’t even say how long it’s gonna take or anything they we’re busy talking with each other. The nurse was polite.

The Malpais location very clean and roomy. The person at the front desk was friendly. The health care professionals were very friendly, took there time with us and answered all of our questions. Great visit! Kudos to you all as a team!

Wait time was a little longer due to the the other location being closed. The Dr and nurse were very professional and kind. My only suggestion would be getting a lunch room for your staff. The ladies up front were eating and I felt nauseated due to the smell. Overall good experience. Thank you for all you do.

I booked online and the office was busy. I got taken in pretty quick. Both the M.A. and the Dr were great. I have a complicated health history. I had waited too long to see the Dr. Ive been getting pretty sicker each day and Dr Jared listened to my spider web of a health history and looked at my problem.. He explained my diagnosis and how one of medications is probably involved. I was really hesitant to go to my own PCP... really,, and I thought Nextcare sees alot of us when our health issues have gone on too long without help. This is my 3rd time to the Malpais office and I was very impressed with DrJareds wide knowledge of medical diseases. I was glad I didnt wait another day. I need to get better so I can get to another Dr later this week. I would trust them again!

This was the second nextcare location I tried to go to this morning. We arrived at 8 am when they said they opened, lights were on and I could see someone inside on the phone unplugging and replugging in the computers. Waited 20 minutes, they didn’t open the doors and she wouldn’t even come out to tell me or the other 5 people waiting what the issue was. I completely understand if there are network or computer issues, but at the very least open the door to let everyone know what is going on so we can head to a different urgent care if needed before the wait gets even longer at a different location. Just absolutely no respect for anyones time.

My visit was very pleasant. The front office staff understand your concerns. The medical staff are kind and listen. And Jared Rodriguez-NP had excellent listening skills about your concerns and very knowledgeable to medical issues. Yes, I was well take care. Thank you NexCare Staff.

They made it very easy to schedule the appointment. I showed up a few minutes early and really did not wait very long to get in and the staff was awesome to me. The doctor was very thorough, explained everything and sending me off with what I needed.Great experience start to finish!

I was impressed the moment I walked thru their doors. I dread going to places where I know people who are sick and contagious will be in the same room as me when Im not sick nor contagious. The waiting area had ample space and all the chairs were spaced far apart. You could smell clean in the air! Everything was electronic so during my entire visit I never exchanged any papers. I didnt have to hand them my insurance card and wait for them to hand it back. Even my prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy. The moment I completed checking in the nurse called me back. She was very professional and helpful. She showed me to my room and then the doctor walked in a minute after she walked out. He was also very professional. He made me feel like I was being heard with my concerns of my allergies to certain meds and when he assured me they were safe he didnt use big doctor slang leaving me confused and feeling inadequate. Being heard and feeling understood isnt common these days. It was refreshing. I was in and out within forty minutes. I wish every doctor experience I have in the future could be as perfect as that one was. Thank you!

The front desk staff are extremely nice, nursing staff are very personable and make sure to make you feel at ease and that everything is completely up to date. The doctor was thoughtful and thorough. I truly appreciated being heard and well-advised in the care I received. I have gone here before and would highly recommend this staff and facility.

This place should not be getting 5 star reviews. They are basically a Hospital gateway. They are not able to perform many basic services, including IV fluids. If you are a parent of a student living in town, as I am, and you are hoping to send you child somewhere, you should call around for a better option. In almost any case of emergency illness, sickness, stomach flu, etc. a person will be moderately to severely dehydrated, and this place is completely unable to do anything for this. They are still happy to charge you full Urgent care rates, and then refer your child to a Hospital for actual treatment. Find a center that still offers basic services.

Dolores was so patient and kind. She stayed after hours to help my girlfriend and I with an urgent issue so we could avoid going to the ER. She truly went above and beyond.

If you have time you wish to waste and want to spend it on figuring out a life threatening emergency or otherwise, this is the perfect place for you. Horrible service and a complete waste of time. We showed up at 5 because my girlfriend has been sick for a few days now and we were getting worried. I swear to god they had like 4 people working there at max because they basically just let one person in at a time each with 30 minute waits in between each person. The nurse who took my girlfriend in had a problem with me going back there with her, when no other urgent care we went to prior had a problem with it. Not to mention I literally watched two ladies the same age go back there at the same time, so I guess the nurse just had a problem with me in particular. My girlfriend basically wasted 3 hours of her time there with worries of covid and was essentially told by the doctor “could be covid, could be flu, could be sinus infection, I don’t know what it could be, so I’ll just prescribe you some antibiotics and call it a night.”. Also, the lady who ran the tests on her was incredibly rude and condescending. Didn’t seem to care about the wellbeing of others, and complained when after the covid test came back negative, THEN my girlfriend decided to test for flu even if it was the doctors own recommendation. Even gave my girlfriend a bloody nose while swabbing for flu. We wasted 3 hours of our time and got zero answers, zero results, and zero hospitality as well as a bloody nose. Not planning on coming back anytime soon.

My husband and I were very pleased with our visit at NextCare.We needed COVID tests prior to our travel outside the country for work.I scheduled appointments elsewhere which were cancelled by another clinic at the last minute. I quickly found this place and hoped for the best.We did not have appointments, but we were able to be seen pretty quickly, within an hour.Dolores was kind and personable. We showed her the forms we needed signed which were partially in Japanese, and she gave us the correct tests which helped us to get back to Japan with ease.We will visit this place next year when we return home for tests, if needed.

This is my first time coming to this location and I will definitely be back (hopefully not because I dont want to be ill but you get the point)! Nurse Dolores and Dr. Josh are so great. Ive been to a few urgent cares up here and it always felt haphazard, but I had such a good experience here and felt really cared for and respected as a patient.

Ive come here many times since moving to Flagstaff 5 years ago and Ive always had great experiences. Reasonable wait times, usually there are appointments available online the same day, the medical assistants and doctors are personable yet efficient and thorough with their care.

I don’t have a primary care physician yet. I have been seeing and have been taken care of by an OB/GYN for so long, and I am pretty healthy, so I haven’t got one yet. I’m gonna be honest and say I sort of dreaded going to urgent care. For me it can be almost like a mini ER visit with long waits, impersonal staff, etc. But wow! I’ve changed my mind on this one. I signed in and waited about 10 minutes and then was told that they had someone ahead of me that would require a lot of time to care for, so if I wanted, they could send me to another facility of theirs 5 minutes away. I thought that was very considerate to let me know that to help me plan my time. I told them yes. They even called ahead and told the new facility I was coming. Even though it was a Monday, I got right in. The triage nurse, Delores, was so awesome and I love the music she had playing. She is so personable and friendly. I also love the PA, Samantha, too. She was very kind, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. She was really listening and trying to assess what was going on and what she could do to help. She even gave me a referral form for a specialist “just in case I needed it “, instead of having to come back in to see her and pay for another visit just to get that referral form. Such a simple thing but it was huge to me. I’m at the front desk was also so sweet! I really can’t say enough about these ladies in my experience there. Thank you!!!!

Wait was a little long but not bad for urgent care, staff was very kind

Came here today for an appointment at 1pm got there at 12:51 told the lady up front that I was checking in she told me she would check me in waited until 2:50pm in the waiting room 3 people were seen before me that came in way after me went up asked the nurse how long my wait is supposed to be she told me you don’t have an appointment showed her that I had one on my phone for the address. Was told instead of the lady at the front desk doing her job and checking me in she decided to put me as a no show to my appointment been here multiple times with my daughter and each time she was told it was an ear infection and she didn’t have one was always something worse that they didn’t care to try and see what it was.

I needed to get a COVID test done due to recent exposure/symptoms and chose this location because of a good experience in the past. They were so professional and nice. They took all of the precautions as I was checking in regards to keeping me distanced from other patients, and I only had to wait about 30 min in my car (as a walk-in). When they were ready for me, they had me come in a separate entrance on the opposite side of the main entrance and the medical assistant was so sweet and helped prepare me by explaining what the nasal swab would feel like. And it wasnt bad at all. She gave me the info for registering for a patient portal so I could check on the status of the results. The Nurse Practitioner Alan did a thorough exam and listened to the questions I had about the testing and helped me understand the testing process better. Overall, I was really satisfied with my visit. This was my second really positive experience, and I would definitely recommend them.

Im visiting from out of state and needed some medical assistance. NextCare got me in quickly and figured out what was wrong. All were kind and polite. They made sure I knew where to find a pharmacy and got me on my way. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to visit an urgent care.

Edit: I wanted to recognize the improvements that have been made at NextCare. The staff are all very knowledgeable and caring. I was loathe to return after my previous experience, but was delighted to find a more competent, welcoming atmosphere. The lobby is kept well informed of any delays and the office is handling the extra burden of Covid care brilliantly.I was excited that NextCare opened a location closer to my house. I should have read the reviews. Michelle L. is that last person I would post as the face of my company. Her customer service skills leave much to be desired. I’m not going to be scolded for neglecting to sign the ream of new patient forms I was hastily given. Maybe walk new patients through your process, or politely remind them after. She even tried to prevent me from leaving when I told her I was going to NextCare’s other urgent care by the hospital.NextCare provides great service at their Humphrey’s location. You can try the one behind Barnes and Noble, just pray Michelle isn’t working that day.

I don’t remember the names of the folks that helped me on July 4th, but I send you my deepest appreciation. From the smooth and private check in process all the way to the end. It’s evident that this facility has hired people who are skilled, and who deeply care about the care they give. Despite there being only one (but amazing) provider on site, everyone took time with me like they had all the time in the world. These women are fantastic, patient, compassionate, talented and fun. Incredible bedside manner—these women could have been my mom or sisters it was all so comfortable. THANK YOU! Please send the staff my gratitude.

Not entirely sure what the point of scheduling an appointment through the online booking process is. Arrived at my scheduled time and then waited for 1.5 hours as the clinic caught up on walk ins that had accumulated throughout the day. Walk ins that had clearly been scheduled over the top of my scheduled appointment. Once I was seen though, the experience was professional and good natured. Its incredibly frustrating though to take the time to schedule an appointment and show up on time, just to sit and wait over an hour. Its hard to imagine myself being 1.5 hours late for a meeting and still being expected to be seen.

The doctor and attendant were very nice. The attendant was receptive to our concerns. The doctor even called us the next day to check on our child.We were at the doors before they opened, but we had to wait over two hours. A large component of this was because the receptionist was aggressive and would not take us as walk-ins (even though we were walking in). I dont know if she was having a bad day, and we obviously were stressed, but to have the first person we interact with be short and rude, it really made us sad. No body wants to take their sick kid into the urgent care, I just want to be treated humanely and with kindness.I wish I could give separate star reviews between the doctor and the facility.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was a new west side location. This location was so clean, and had no wait! The staff was very friendly & helpful. They did not rush us at all and were very thorough....even though we got there 30 minutes before they closed. The nurse practitioner, medical assistant, and front reception were all very nice and caring. It made a HUGE difference in how well my son was able to handle removing a fishhook from his toe. We will definitely be back for any other urgent care needs.

After a few malfunctions with booking and my name not showing at my appointment time when I arrived, the front desk gal at the NextCare Urgent care on Humphreys suggested that she book the appt for me and it worked, the appt was at the NextCare Urgent Care buy the old Barnes and Noble. It was successful. I was so pleased with the Urgent Care by the old Barns & Noble that I think I might have found my new go to location. it was very clean.The staff were very nice and got me in and out before 8:30. I really appreciated all the staff who helped me today.

I made an appointment for noon. I filled out all of my patient paperwork online and arrived fifteen minutes before my appointment. I wasnt called back until 12:40. At that time I had my vitals taken and told the physician would be in shortly. I waited without being seen until 14:10, nearly an hour and a half after my vitals were taken and over two hours past my scheduled appointment time. At that time, I had to leave without being seen due to prior arrangements. The only positive thing about my visit was that the staff was very polite and very kind.

The receptionist is nice and the Docs arent bad. But the wait is ridiculous. At a time marked not too busy to wait over an hour for care is dumb. If Id known it was gonna be this long I would have stayed home for another hour and come when it was actually my turn.

EDIT: A year ago my review was 5 stars. Today Im changing it to one. The prices jumped significantly! Went in for a sinus infection today. I spoke to the doctor for 10 minutes, no tests were ran, and my bill was close to $200 WITH the insurance Ive had for years. My co-pay used to only be $50, and my coverage hasnt changed. Plus the parking lot is now pay to park, which is outrageous enough for it being a medical facilities parking lot. Absolutely devastated that my favorite urgent care office turned into a money machine. Off to find the next best facility! I do NOT recommend coming here unless you have ACCCHS.

I had a very good experience at NextCare Urgent Care on Kaibab Ln yesterday, where I sought help for a deep gash in my forehead that clearly needed stitches. I had earlier stopped at 2 urgent/emergent care providers to inquire about wait times and was told in both cases a minimum of 2 hours (the only triage question being is it bleeding?).I believe that NextCare/Kaibab took the time to assess my needs in relation to those of other waiting patients, and I was seen in under 20 minutes. Thats the kind of triage that should be universal - not just first come, first served. I would say the same if I were assessed to be the less urgent patient in the waiting room and had to wait longer than others with more immediate needs.The front desk and medical assistant staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Thank you to ANP Rodriguez for moving quickly and efficiently to cleanse and stitch a wound that a doctor had a half hour earlier told me might be too deep for urgent care to stitch. A script for antibiotics was sent immediately to a local grocery chain pharmacy and was filled and ready for pick-up by the time I arrived there.Yes, I would come here again!

Unfortunately it took 2 hours for a CDL physical. Other than that OK. Provider did apologize for the time

Service was efficient , friendly and helpful. Dr. Ziegler was friendly and did a great job explaining to me the issue I was having with my knee and how to address it, answering my questions and getting me back in the game.

My husband was very sick- fever, vomiting, sore throat, etc. I made an appointment online but I guess it didn’t go through. They were very nice and fit us in anyway. He was almost hospitalized due to low oxygen but they were able to get it above 90. We ere waiting for pcr tests but they gave him a rapid test so we would have answers and correct treatment. He was positive and they gave him anti-nausea and paxlovid. Two days later and he is much better! They were all very kind.

The wait was kind of long but prob shorter than other places. The waiting room was nice and very clean and the front desk was very courteous. They used COVID precautions and social distancing.The Dr I saw was very good, he addressed the issue which was an infected cut. Everything went as smooth as possible, I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends

They were pretty busy but in spite of that everyone was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was on top of everything and got me checked in right away. The medical assistant was so nice. She apologized for the wait but checked on me frequently. I believe her name was Doris? My ears are plugged. The PA was working alone but she made sure to address all my questions and issues. I really appreciate the care especially knowing the risk they are taking.

Staff was so friendly! I was not excited to go into an Urgent Care facility in the middle of a pandemic, but all of the staff was very accommodating and courteous. I checked in inside the lobby, filled out paper work in my car, and was able to stay in my vehicle the entire time. All in all it took about an hour. 5/5 starts - would recommend to a friend!

The only nice thing I can say is the last time I was here the woman was very friendly and welcoming. Today however I had an appointment for 3 pm and sat in my car for 2 hours just to get a call to ask of I want to be triaged after hours and wait for another unspecified amount of time. What is the point of an appointment? And even if you had an emergency walk in I feel that I should have been seen and gone long before that person walked in 2 hours after my appointment time. I’m extremely irritated and sick on top of it. I won’t be back, I’ll pay out of pocket to go somewhere else.

The nurse practitioner, Sam was very helpful and informative regarding my covid diagnosis. The assistant was very kind and friendly as well. The only negative was the check-in process. It is on-line and quite cumbersome. I tried several times to check in and the system would not let me. Not a good experience for someone who is feeling very sick. They were able to handle the check in manually after over 30 minutes of trying.

What is the point of an appt??? Got there an hour early… My spouse was Called back an hour after appt time-People literally were talking about patients waiting for over 3 hrs and not being seen by a provider.. one lady walked out after waiting 2 hrs and not being seen. This is the worst next care I’ve experienced.

The doctor (Julien, I think?) was very friendly while still being efficient. I felt welcome and cared for but I was also in and out pretty quickly.

All three women were so kind, understanding and extremely helpful. I was provided a doctors note for work to rest my concussion for a few days and referrals for next steps if my symptoms progressed. The wait was about an hour midday.

Broke my ankle and was basically refused service. I just wanted an ankle brace or to have it wrapped by a professional. They told me to go to an orthopedic specials and they couldn’t help wrap my ankle. They were not helpful in any way when I was in a very vulnerable state. I would go anywhere else first (especially if it is something more than just a minor cold or flu). Worst service I have ever experienced. I went to Walmart and had a random person buy me a foot wrap and had to wrap it myself.

The staff was wonderful and caring. They took the time to ask questions and allowed time for my concerns. Krissie Maxwell, FNP was great. Went over all my concerns, gave recommendations and input for care. I wish I could see her for all my future medical needs instead of my regular MD.Thank you for caring to your team.

Phenomenal customer service! The place is so clean, neat and organized. One other time I’ve been to the other NextCare urgent care center on Humphreys and that was just as good. I’m stoked to know that we have such a convenient place to go and get checked out. The online portal is amazing, I just wish other Dr offices were as advanced.

I came in for a rapid covid test this morning & the service was efficient & safe. The person who gave me my test was so, so kind. He really took the time to ask about my circumstances & gave me thoughtful advice about how to keep myself & my family safe. The caring really made a difference

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever been. So much for “urgent care”. Is it urgent when you have to wait outside in your car for not 1, not 2, but 3 hours just for them to call back and ask for your height and weight? Not to mention, once I finally got inside an actual exam room, having to wait another hour just for a technician to tell me to keep waiting. Absolute joke of a medical office. Go ANYWHERE else.

When I first walked in to check in, the receptionist Michelle was extremely rude. She was yelling at me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I almost just left and canceled my appointment. I decided to ride it out and I’m glad I did, Deloras was so comforting and such a sweetheart, she really made my day. Doctor Motter was amazing as well, I’m glad I rode it out but something needs to be done about the lady at the front desk!

I’m still giving 5 stars because I’ve never had an issue before and everyone has their off days. But the nurse I had today was rude. They swabbed me for the wrong test. Not sure if that was why?? But the dr was really nice just not so much the nurse.

I’m mostly satisfied with the care I receive. However, the wait times can be long, even when you have an appointment. I understand most clinics are swamped right now but they should at least automate a way for patients to check when they should arrive so they don’t needlessly wait while other patients are being tended to.

Usually they are very nice, but one time I came in later (granted it was reasonably close to closing) and the nurse was rude and told me they wouldn’t help me here because it was too late, so I had to go to the emergency room instead. But usually they are understanding and very kind.

Everyone at this urgent care was so nice! Which is rare for any kind of clinic where they treat you like youre at the DMV. They couldnt resolve my issue, but gave great advice on how to move forward with at home remedies.

I had to come in to get a deeply lodged thorn removed from my finger. My doctor was great, very considerate and explained all of the procedure thoroughly before doing anything. I was really nervous (I’m a squeamish baby), but she put me at ease and made the process less terrible!

My pregnant fiancé when and asking for help with her cold and flu like symptoms they just said it was because she was pregnant and wrote it off as pregnancy rhinitis then she told me she wasnt even tested for anything and sent home

Staff is rude! I walked in @ 4pm on 10/4/21 only to be refused services stating we are no longer taking walk-ins for the day. Only two people were in the lobby at the time. I then waited until this morning (mind you I am a student and very sick) just to be told they do not have a provider right now and to come back in a couple of hours. What type of establishment is this facility running? This is a college town with sick students who they are unable to help or lack the compassion to help. Stay away from this place.

The wait definitely is much shorter than going to the ER, and the staff was pleasant. The doctor (Alisa) was very nice and caring, and she explained everything very well. If I need urgent care in the future, I’ll come back here.

Came in as a walk-in 90 minutes prior to closing. Was told that they were unable to see my daughter and I should reschedule. After I asked to get an appointment for the next day I was told no. Horrible customer service at the front desk.

All the staff were super friendly and kind. They took time to get to know me. I didn’t feel rushed and they wanted to make sure all my questions were answered before I left. I highly recommend this clinic.

I never post reviews but.. The Doctors here are awesome extremely nice and helpful we have been in many times with the kids however the lady working the desk has been so rude the passed two times its terrible because I really like this place it was so bad today that Im not coming back. My wife went here about a month ago and the same check in lady was there and was so mean to her she came home with tears in her eyes so today I show up forgetting about my wifes visit to be seen the lady was in such a bad mood she cut me off while asking a simple question shut the door in my face so I started to leave and she followed me to the car to apologise after I told her I was friends with the doctor. This is not how any place should treat people. I understand people do have bad days but two different patience a month apart seems like a routine for someone to be so unhappy with their job. Please make this a pleasant place again nextcare I used to love going here!

The wait wasn’t that long and the staff were very nice along with the doctor. I would recommend going to here to my families.

Walked in with no appointment. Triage was easily and mostly on my phone. Got COVID and FLU testing quickly and results quickly. Facility was clean and organized, staff was friendly and helpful. Will come back when I need to.

This is the only urgent care I go to. The staff are so friendly and Ive never felt brushed off or unheard. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a quality urgent care.

We visited this Urgent Care while on a weekend Vacation up here in Flagstaff, because our 6 yr old slipped while hiking and smacked his head on a large rock. The staff was so kind, and the doctor was very professional and informative about options and his recommendation. He did the procedure quickly and proficiently (4 staples in my son’s head).This sad accident could have ruined our weekend vacation, but now we are on the mend and ready to get back to enjoying our trip up North, thanks to the great Staff! I highly recommend!!!!

The online checkin made the whole process easier than at other urgent care locations I have been to. I only waited about 10 min past my appointment time. The staff was courteous and professional and clearly listened to my issues. The only real wait was between being seen and getting a prescription (15 min).

I needed a visit very bad. I got there at 7:30 pm, 30 minutes when they were supposed to close and they still took me. This is the only Urgent Care in Flagstaff that follows my insurance co-pay. I was in and out of there within an hour with medicine waiting for me at the pharmacy. I will always come to this urgent care over the others.
