Every single person that works here was so kind and supportive. They all were reassuring and treated me with respect and cared for me like a mother would! The most exceptional experience I’ve ever had at a clinic or any kind of medical facility. These are wonderful people and truly care about you and your every need. 🩷

My ONLY complaint would be the woman that you very first see to check you in. The one with the huge veneers. She asked for my ID and told me to go sit down, I said do you want me to wait for my ID and she said uh uh and waved me off with a flick of her hand. Very rude. And loud. Now. Do not let that stop you from coming here. I was a complete wreck with nerves and every single person in the back made me feel so welcomed and accepted. That first woman in the office will be the only one that makes you feel uncomfortable I promise. Once you get past the waiting room door, everyone of those girls are amazing. I want to thank the ultrasound tech for being quick and nice. The health consultant for answering all my questions and calling me baby and honey because I felt like part of her family and knew I was gonna be taken care of. Also the nurse that gave me my IV who was so informative and sweet.They also give you the option to be put to sleep! Which made me feel 100x better about it all! That really saved my mental health. #1 people in there that I met was the woman Anesthesiologist with short hair. Who cracked jokes and came in with great energy. She took me from crying and worried. To smiling and at ease before I fell asleep. And the Dr who preformed my procedure, also had amazing energy and was so kind and made me feel so safe. Thank you to everyone who took care of me and made me feel better. You guys are amazing.Also if you are going to go, drive straight past the people at the gate dressed up as security guards. They are protestors. They damn near jumped in front of our car to get us to stop, but KEEP driving! They are not allowed on the property. They will talk and try to make it seem like they need something just to get you to stop. But dont. Keep driving babe.

I am so shocked at the lack of professionalism, confidentiality and care. The front desk staff were extremely loud and careless as it relates to decorum and the confidentiality of clients. The staff were loudly talking about their personal lives. In addition, as they are checking folks in (saying their names, personal info, and details of visit)… they are doing so very loudly. They could definitely sodas a lot quieter to create feelings of privacy and safety. The clients are already coming in vulnerable to not be met with feelings of safety and care is extremely uncomfortable and brings feelings of distress and anxiety. Common sense and training would lead to feelings of trust and compassion for clients of PP. I am so disappointed. Would not recommend this location if you are needing privacy and to feel safe while getting your care here.I’ve been to another location (S Grand). They were so kind and definitely prioritized the privacy and respect of their patients. You can tell. I hope the Fairview Heights location gets better training or more thoughtful employees.It’s a small adjustment that makes a major impact. The front desk staff is a clients first interaction with the office. It can make or break an experience.

The nurses and doctors here were all great. The wait can be long but just be patient. I went at 11 weeks for a medication abortion. If your nurse/doctor thinks it might be too painful for you, because of how far along you are. I would follow their advice. They offered me the in-clinic abortion, which would be less painful. They even said it would be the same price. I went ahead and chose the route of medication. The pain was a 10/10 honestly. I’ve never experienced pain like that. If I thought about it for any longer, I would’ve chose an in clinic abortion. My experience was great at the clinic though. The workers will talk you through everything. The price I paid was $535 without insurance. The protestors outside do not matter. I was nervous thinking they would try to stop us from coming in. All you have to do is drive in and ignore them. I hope this helps.

Beware of the people in the front of the gate. They look and act like they are workers but that’s how they trap you!! Just drive right past them and don’t stop!!Everyone in this house from when you first enter to leave is so amazing and helpful! They make you feel so at ease and ensure you are comfortable. The facility is also very nice and clean too!The wait was long but I understand that this is no fault of the clinic themselves and they are working as fast as they can. Just be prepared to spend an extra couple hours here than you originally thought out.

Absolutely incredible vibes outside of the protesters, Felt very safe and welcomed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful just 10x easier and nicer than what we thought it would be

I don’t think I will ever be able to thank the staff here enough. I came in for a 2 day procedure - scared out of my mind and they understood that I was a human being with feelings. From the front desk staff, to the ultrasound technician, the education helper, nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeon and everyone in between - thank you. I felt so comfortable, loved, and safe at this facility.I also want to give a major shoutout to Jenny, she is such a kind soul. She made me feel so comfortable and made me even laugh while in the midst of crying (I wish I could take her home with me and have her as my nurse LOL). I’m so thankful for everyone here - and I’m so glad I was put in the hands of the workers here.PS - the people outside the front gates do NOT work for planned parenthood - very misleading on those peoples parts

This is my first time having care with them and I must say they were amazing!! They go above and beyond to make sure you are supported and comfortable. Nurse Danielle, Brandi that was apart of my care team are such sweet angels!

People there were so kind and helpful. Got to appointment early and was seen even before appointment time. Was in and out quickly. Emilia the coordinator really answered my questions and was a tremendous help ! Front desk and nurses were exceptional

The nicest and friendliest nurses I have ever met. They made a difficult experience a little easier! I am very thankful for their kindness, support and hard work.

The whole experience wasnt great. Before I even got to my appointment I was having issues. When you google PP and click on the directions option that takes you to Google maps, it takes you to their old location. I got there and realized what happened. Then I had to spend 20 minutes trying to find the updated location. Because my appointment was at 8am I couldnt call and talk to anyone. The automated directory gave me a St. Louis location. I finally figured out what the new location was and was able to get there. When I got there, the security guys asked if I was here for an ultrasound. When I said no, they asked how far along I was... Im just fat. Then, I didnt get called back until 8:30 because they moved my appointment even though I told them not to. I was there for a general pelvic exam and to talk about my birth control. They didnt schedule me for an exam so I ended up not even having one. The provider overall just seemed really dismissive. She also indirectly spoke about my weight which was not great. Really disappointed with the entire experience.

Everyone including thr security was very respectful and easy going . No issues , no complications. They answered any questions or concerns I had. I didnt feel unwelcomed either. Easy and smooth process

10/10 ! The ladies in the back is so friendly. Be aware of protesters dress up as workers and they aren’t . The workers will have a rainbow 🌈 badge on when u roll in the gates that’s how u know the difference. I came for a surgical procedure they offer four different types of pain medication I ask to be put to sleep so I didn’t feel anything . The nurses are amazing and the nurse / anesthesia JULIE WAS AMAZING!!! Her service was awesome she made me feel so comfortable and talk me through everything. All the workers are nice and they also give u IV fluids they make u feel like your choice is acceptable and it’s your body ! I love everyone here my experience was so smooth and easy I was there for 3hrs but that’s toBe expected since you have to be examined. Highly recommend this plan parenthood

Half of them have bad attitudes. A darker haired snobby nurse couldn’t even get me a cup of water. They were all mad their boss made my appt later in the day. Like thanks for letting me know.

My experience was better than I expected. I expected this to be a get in/get out, here’s some juice and crackers, have a nice day experience but it was not. The staff treated me so WELL I could cry from tears of appreciation. I spoke to about 9 people during my stay and everyone of them greeted me with a warm smile & spoke to me with compassion and respect. I was well informed and repeatedly asked if I had any questions or needed anything every step of the way. The staff made me feel so safe there and that is so important to me. I came in for a 10-15 minute surgical procedure and left with that plus 3 months free therapy & birth control. Thank you to everyone on staff 4/7/23. You ladies turned a scary first time experience into a calm, well informed, non traumatic experience for me. 💜

They really took care of me I went in for an abortion and they make sure your making the right choice for you and when you get it done you don’t feel anything also I was coming from out of state with my driver they got us a free hotel so we could be safe since he didn’t sleep and I couldn’t drive

Took me 2 hours just to get called to the back. My appointment was at 1250pm I didn’t get called to the back until almost 3 then you have more paper work and pointless questions. They have you schedule an appointment for nothing because everyone just goes before you or they just simply over schedule like they are trying to get you to change your mind about it. They should just get everything over with the first time they call your name to the front and confirm payments. Instead they have you go sit back out in the waiting room after getting called to the front . Then you wait a long time to be called again finally to the back after an ultrasound and have you sit back out in the waiting room to be called again ugh so time consuming. I didn’t feel good and didn’t want to be there all day. The workers all look like they have attitudes. Wouldn’t recommend coming here I’m never coming here again.

They are quick, friendly, affordable, and overall the environment is caring. The staff is also very professional and made me feel comfortable. Only horrible thing is the protesters outside tricking you into speaking with them trying to force their own beliefs onto others! I just ignored them though and drove away.

The receptionist didnt understand my issue and turned me away before I could explain. Sorry, but that is unacceptable for healthcare.

There are some young girls outside, dressed like they work here. They do not. But there are volunteers helping you through. Which I love. We are just here for a birth control refill. Gotta love the I dont know how to mind my own business crewThanks for keeping everyone safe PP.

The only complaint I have is how rude some of the workers are. The lady at the front desk looked at me like I was dumb when asking questions. She seemed annoyed to be there. Not a good first impression. My appointment was at 12 and they didn’t call be back until n hour and a half later. The staff in the back were very nice. Once I got to the procedure area, my first nurse was rude. She complained to everyone very loudly saying I was difficult because she couldn’t find my vein. Someone asked about timing and she responded very rudely “it will be a while. This is what happens when we have one doctor and everyone in the country wants to come here. We only have one doctor” besides that, everyone else was very nice and calmed me down a lot.

Staff is absolutely amazing from the security check in insiddle, the workers at the front desk, and health care providers. They asked for consent to touch my body every time we started a different test and gave me access to all test and knowledge I needed. These people are gentle and kind and judgement free. BEWARE of protesters outside of the gate. They flagged us down and we really thought they were security by the way they were dressed. They will try to give you pamphlets and harass you if you decline. I highly suggest not even making eye contact or interacting with them.

First off, Thankyou for the services you provide. Me and my wife passed through from Nashville, TN because the service you provided us is not legal/banned in are State. We had a 3:00pm appointment but arrived early at 12:45pm and was able to get through it patiently and sooner than later. I will tell you THIS BUILDING HAS ONE GATE IN AND ONE GATE OUT! the protesters will be posted up front and will try to stop you! They are not Security nor people who work for Planned Parenthood! All staff are inside but will come out if you are blocking the entrance/exit these protesters will look legit with Orange Vest or ANY high visibility vest and Carry BODY CAMS on their person so you will probably be filmed when approached! DRIVE THROUGH THE FIRST OPENING OF THE BLACK FENCED IN AREA AND DO NOT STOP UNTIL YOU ARE IN THE PARKING LOT AND HAVE PARKED, THEY CAN NOT ENTER THE INSIDE OF THE GATED PROPERTY! Im only trying to inform others to be safe because we made the mistake of stopping and the woman protester was very adamantly trying to force us to turn around DO NOT cause she was very forcibly trying. They will ask for info about what you are visiting for STAY SILENT ABOUT YOUR BEING THERE IT IS NONE OF THEIR BUISNESS! Do not feel bad or ashamed on why you are there, you are a strong human being with a heart and love. You are loved! The visit for us did give us time to soak in everything but in the end we were appreciative of how nice and professional they informed and initiated the process. Again THANKYOU Planned Parenthood for helping us.

We wanted the deep sedation so to be put to sleep but they said the person was out that week with no warning. So we had to do moderate sedation and was told that my girlfriend would be in a twilight state and not really remember anything. However, she didnt feel sedated at all and felt and remembered everything which was very traumatic and painful for her and she had nightmares afterward.The staff was nice in general but the procedure was rough and also the catheter was very painful.

There was a young lady standing at the front gate. She urgently waved me down so I felt I had to stop but she was just handing out a brochure and cards. I tried to get her to end the drawn out presentation sooner but telling her yes I know I have an abortion scheduled and she made me feel bad inserting her opinion repeatedly telling me she high doesn’t recommend that. I tried to tell her I was 20 minutes late and she continued to hold me! It was unprofessional for her to assert her opinion on me. The staff inside didn’t impose their personal beliefs, they just told me my choices. She should have just done her job, and left the controversial subject alone. Next, I asked the lady who checked me in is it ok if I use the bathroom she said yes. Come to find out that my bladder needed to be full for an ultrasound and I had to take a pregnancy test. Glad I went with my gut and held it. I don’t fault her too much but they should know that moving forward. ******Other than that I likes the atmosphere, speed of service staff, I felt like they were overall knowledgeable and helpful

Highly suggest only going on the weekend, when the staff is friendly and actually cares about you and your situation instead of going on the weekday and being treated like you are interrupting their meal with their family. From the guard to the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was rude as ever! I will never go to them again. In fact, it spoiled any future appointments I had with ANY planned parenthood. The way they make you feel while there is not normal or okay! If we add in my experience with the doctor and the procedure he did, that Im still dealing with 9 weeks later!!, then wed be here all day and probably traumatized with all the ER visits Ive had since going to them!Hope Clinic, people!!! Seriously! Its worth the extra money and appointments. You pay for what you get

I had a great experience at this new facility! Wait was not long and my implant removal/reinsertion went smooth, even though it was embedded pretty deep. My doctor was very proficient and kind.The only downside was the nasty people out front who fooled me into thinking they were staff with their safety vests and “check in” sign.. don’t stop for them! They will just talk down on women and all the great things PP has to offer.

They have no compassion at all, rude as ever! The most descent ones was the lady at the very first window and the student asking to be in the room during the education process. And my chair didn’t even looked sanitized where they had me sit for the procedure. I wish I had experienced a more friendlier staff.

Drive past that first CHECK IN HERE sign, those are protesters and they are not affiliated with the clinic.The clinic usually has incredible volunteer escorts out in the parking lot out front who will walk you inside. The clinic security and staff are friendly, professional. Caring and informative providers as well and affordable testing and services.

Service was ok until it was time for discharge. Bad built black lady who clearly didn’t like her job for the day removed my IV and escorted me to the front while still heavily sedated. No discharge papers or anything were given and I know for a fact if I wasn’t so out of it I would’ve gotten. Other than the long wait and rude lady the procedure went fast.

Reviewing for a friend: they said the staff were kind, plenty of information was presented.It seemed to take a while but thats understandable with the increased demand on the facility due to bordering states bans on certain procedures.

Had to travel out of state to be treated like a human woman with healthcare needs that need met. From the Dr who did the procedure, to the nurses, all comforted me while remaining a professional team focusing on my individual needs and situation. Of course I was scared and I am very sensitive to pain, but the nurses and Dr made it as comfortable an experience as they possibly could. I dont know what Id have done had I not found them.

Although they were 90 minutes late getting me in, everyone was so nice and they were able to do exactly what I needed. If I had gone to a GYN, it would have taken several appointments and several weeks/months. Thank you Planned Parenthood for taking care of women!

Everyone is so nice and sweet but Jenni mullersman was very mean my girlfriend was in terrible pain and jenni came to us saying she was going to move us because my gf was scaring the other patients and we also overheard hear making funny and talking bad about another patient.

These people are nice but not educated or just not experience it seemed as if everyone was JUST doing their job not really caring about what I wanted. I had to say something in order to get the experience I wanted If I ever need services here I don’t think I’ll come back to this location*UPDATE *I had to go to the ER from my appointment on the 18th my body just didn’t seem right I understand complications happen but.. I’ve had a better more efficient doctor. Again these people where nice and price was very cheap which made me overlooked the fact that i heard one of the nurses told the doctor a patient came in and still had pregnancy symptoms.. just be careful coming here for a procedure of any kind I’ll pray for this place because it has some potential

Please note: there are people who do not work at PP who post up outside of the gate. I drove up thinking it was going to be a temperature screening because of covid, but its actually protestors offering free womens healthcare - its really just natural family planning and counseling against pregnancy termination. Just drive past them and dont give them the time of day.Otherwise, my NP was very good! She was aware of my issues regarding an insurance gap, and did her best to limit costs. I will continue to go to this facility.

Wow this place has completely changed for the better. I had an absolutely terrible experience here several years ago ( you wouldnt believe the cruel behavior of the nurse that treated me) after that experience I sought out a private gynecologist hoping for a better experience. The end result was me choosing a doctor who just wanted to nickel and dime me as many times as she could, refusing to give me standard care in the same visit, for example a culture for STI or infection the same time as a pap, then a separate visit for birth control, for testing, then another visit to talk about negative and healthy results, it was absurd... So I came back to planned parenthood purely for efficiency and Im so glad I did. Pleasantly surprised by how kind and caring the staff has become. The nurse practioner on staff is so kind and informative. I highly reccomend using this facility for your feminine care. Also I noticed some people complaining about the wait but in my experience its probably been the shortest wait out of any doctors office Ive ever been to ( 5-15 minutes) Hope this helps!

Recently sent a friend here for an STD screening. They asked me to post this for them, as they want to remain anonymous and for some bizarre reason...this post with your full name and google profile??? They were very distraught over finding out that their mate of 12 years had been unfaithful and with multiple partners. Just the emotional trauma of the infidelity is enough to cope with...but in light of the infidelity there is the stress of what they may have been exposed to. They scheduled an appointment, advised him to bring his medical card or insurance...they knew up front which insurance he had, and did not request him to be there early for paper work. When he arrived for the appointment, they had a big stack of paperwork to be completed. The staff was very unfriendly and rude. They give poor instructions, sit here, wait here...then move over to another area, then no, go back here...who told you to come down here? Then the entire time the staff was cackling about the smell from a bathroom that client used and how bad in stunk. The person who just came out of the bathroom was sitting right there and was humiliated. The instructions for the test results were vague at best. If you do not hear from us, call us in two week? This was a bizarre, zero compassion and unprofessional medical experience.

Everyone here is so kind, especially when theyre being so overworked now. I go for trans health and was treated with the respect and kindness other doctors have never given me. ❤️

Highly recommend this place .. I had hardly 10 mins wait time … Very very caring staff from reception to Nurses to Doctor everyone was so kind And loving , explained everything in details help u choose whatever is best for you .. They won’t rush nor moneymaking ppl they love to listen and most importantly they support you emotionally.. Thank you planned Parenthood for your service

Hey pro-life people. I was in the clinic to day and watch a mother coming in for an abortion. Shes already had a little boy about 2years old. she repeatedly struck the child for crying, the mother was literally screaming at the boy “ your are going to p*** me off!” And “ i cant stand you!” At the top of her lounges.Shes a terrible mother and should be arrested but shes doing the right thing and saving a new born from trauma

As making decisions sometimes we have to choose the easy way out not many people understand what we go through and not many of us womans can handle it..as soon as i drove In theres was the protesters they made me feel uncomfortable they tried to talked me into not spending money and to meet them up around the building..I just didnt know what to do at that point I felt like breaking down bc I wanted to get things over with..from there we drove off on them and got hings done the ladies there made me feel safe and constantly checked up on me they were awesome 👌

I understand the law has changed BUT dont overbook the clinic with procedures... Been in the clinic since 10am its now 2:04pm and Im still waiting for the procedure to be done on top of that the nurse said it will still be another couple of hrs!

Thanks to all the staff for being so kind and helpful with what I needed to get through this visit. You guys were so kind to me and listened to me and helped me make the best decisions and I sure am glad you did.

My experience was great!!!! They make you feel real comfortable, they help with financial needs... the procedure was very explainable and quick! You have nothing to worry about they talk to you through out the entire procedure!

The nurse practitioner Susan is amazing and the nurse really was too. She was very informative and explained everything so well. There was no judgement whatsoever. Amazing place!

I had an abortion here Ive always thought I never would and am the type of person to be scared of everything I had in clinic abortion it was scary but they talked about both options made it easy to talk and decide I was scared all the way till it was done they were patient they waited they took step to calm me and it was amazingly easy for me they definitely should be a place you consider going

I love that a building with the word parenthood on it wont allow your children in with you. Or make you wait hours just to not give you birth control that you want because your children are with you. Great job guys. Yall are wonderful. Not.

HIGHLY do not recommend coming to this location. The receptionist has a horrible attitude and does NOT care about the patients coming in. She went out of her way to create an uncomfortable and toxic environment. Take your healthcare needs to another PP location.

This place was non-judgmental, caring, informative, kind, and made me feel safe. its been a few years since my visit, but i know where to go if I ever find myself in need of their assistance or if i had any questions needing answered.

It was worth it. everyone was very nice and hopefully and consistent of my feelings. The actual facility it clean and nice. The place in just professional all together.

An ambulance arrived to take a lady to hospital after a malfunction while we were there! Frightening. Then only Healthcare treatment solution was to destroy our baby - no alternatives. 😱

Good experience, very easy to schedule. Ignore anybody outside the fenced area, they are anti abortion cultists and are trying to trick you.

While Scheduling an appointment, one of the representatives by the name of Lynn I believe had a very unpleasant attitude on several occasions that I called to follow up with my appointment and had not been helpful at all with any further information that I needed.

I was scheduled for a womens annual exam I made it all the way up to this location just for them to tell me that my appointment had been canceled no one called and told me prior to my appointment that it had been canceled I came all the way up here for nothing and I didnt appreciate it

The ladies are super friendly and understanding! No judgement by any means! They help funding your needs and wants! Love this place

I went in for an std test and the staff were friendly and answered all the questions I have. Very clean and private facility.

Please use the Executive Drive (rear) entrance. The Salem Dr. Entrance is on a curve and a little dangerous.

They don’t offer abortions why r you protesting.
