I am a Primary Care physician and referred a patient here for a procedure after and abnormal Pap Smear because it was covered by her insurance. My patient saw Dr. Karin Schiff who called me after the procedure with her findings/results. She was very thorough, explained her thoughts/plan for additional care for my patient, and was very helpful. She is following up on a couple of issues for my patient which is a huge help to me. Medically very smart and kind by phone.

Dr. Hines is very nice and caring about his patients. He is very compassionate. He adjusts you from head to toe.

The staff was great and very helpful, however Tracy Wickware came off as rude and seemed to be annoyed with me being there. She ignored my concerns and did not give me a proper look over. She took a quick glance at my mouth and that was it. She then proceeded to prescribe me medication without explaining to me what I may have, one of the medications was canceled I believe, the reason I do not know. I went to Radys urgent care to try and get checked out properly but due to taking the medication Radys urgent care was unable to test for strep throat or any other infection. I do not wish to have any more/further interactions with her.

Dr. Ede is a very nonchalant Dr… doesn’t care about poor people… he acts like he doesn’t want to be there…. When I explain my issues he just brushes me off…. He rushes you outta and barely takes the time to listen and dig into concerns regarding my health issues… I have gotten no remedies from him on my health concerns…

Neighborhood Healthcare in Escondido has some of the best doctors I have had the fortune to work with, including Drs James Schultz (Chief Medical Officer), Michael Avila (PCP), Edgar Bulloch (gynecologist), Elizabeth Mannino (metabolic diseases), Angela Patino (clinical psychologist), Shazmin Gangji (PA), and their wonderful staff (especially Juan Ramirez - Call Center Representative). They are caring, spent time to listen to my concerns, discussed care options and answered all my questions thoughtfully, gave timely referrals to specialists (Dr. Patinos referral saved me 7 months compared to a prior referral!) and set up follow-up visits to check on my progress. I have seen major health improvements as a result, and am truly grateful. Highly recommended if you want to get the best quality medical care in San Diego!

Absolute the worst medical facility..flakey doctors. Worst service..I ve now gone to another health plan.Put up with them for two yearsI will not be back ever.

Great place did my tattoo removal and they were awesome and very gentle.

Unlike other reviews, I had a good experience with the staff and my walk-in went smoothly. I honestly wouldve given a good rating. However, when I went to pick up my prescription there was a problem and for some reason nothing was actually prescribed to me. Accidents happen, it couldve been a fluke, so I called the number provided on the paper they gave me. Again, that experience was nice, the person helping me was helpful and it was pretty quick. I got a text confirmation that my prescription had been sent and to check with the pharmacy again. I go back, nothing. Not a single thing under my name. The pain Im feeling is unbearable and I need that prescription. I called the number again, this time my experience not so good because I was basically told there was nothing they could do. I tried getting the pharmacist to call the doctor but they werent picking up either. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to even try to sort this out again. I just have to deal with the pain because, for some reason, they suck at sending prescriptions.

Dr.Hines is a miracle worker!!!I ended up in the ER for shooting pain going down my upper legs and my lower back.I had a follow up with my primary and she referred me to a chiropractor at Neighborhood Healthcare Elm.Im going on my third week with Dr.Hines with zero back pain or leg pain.I feel like a new person,ive had lower back pain for many years using Motrin to cure the pain,but the pain always comes back.Not anymore,my back finally feels healed and free from strain without medication.I even feel a couple inches taller after Dr.Hines magic.Thank you Dr.Hines!!!!

The receptionist Jose provided excellent customer service. I came in as a walk-in and he greeted me as I came in and started a conversation with me. His positive energy is something you don’t quite see, and it was a great experience overall!

I started coming to this clinic back in April and I can say the staff here are very professional and friendly. I have been seen multiple times by Dr. Avila and I can tell you he is a really good doctor because he is knowledgeable, caring, and just a good person overall that will truly care for your well-being. This clinic is amazing and will take great care of you.

This was my last straw. I had an on phone appointment with Elizabeth Mannino. I did the check in appointment the day before since it sends you a “check -in” link to do it a day prior. I then received another text 30 minutes to “check-in” prior again tho I already did it. I clicked on it just I case, but it says I’m ready and checked in. Appointment was at 3:30. So it said anytime I’ll be getting a call 30 minutes before or 30 minute after my set appointment time. It’s currently 5:00pm and no call or response to reschedule. Horrible service horrible provider. I gave it a second chance and never again. Definitely switching providers.

Ive discovered that NHC excels at coordinating all care needs! Professional staff are kind and I feel they listen to me and make good decisions for my improved health. Front office personnel are pleasant and efficient.

Coming from Graybill, this place is 100 times better. They actually care, and everyone is very pleasant. Like most doctors lately appointments are short, but at least I feel like they do their best to make sure Im okay. I didnt have to wait long, but I have seen other people waiting, so FYI walk-ins are not the best thing here.

I have been coming to Neighborhood Healthcare for many years and have always been happy. I feel I get top notch care and I have worked in the healthcare field all my life.

Walked in & was immediately greeted. The wonderful lady in the front desk gave information I exactly needed and helped me. She also made a chart for me right there & then. Personally I haven’t been helped correctly until I stumbled upon her, she deserves a raise

This guy is really interested of what you say. Really gets down to point so he can understand where you’re coming from. I really like this guy and feel very comfortable with him!

Been coming here about 1 year after loosing my medical insurance. I have had nothing but a good experience. Dr. Tantod and Dr.Holton are the best , efficient , personable. Remember it’s a clinic so sometimes the wait is a little long but unless it’s an emergency u will survive the wait. The front desk ,labs,RN’s and Doctors are ROCKSTARS ... use the online portal to make appts., and check ur medical reports.

Thought I leave a review since it deserves one. lways a good experience for me. Staff is always working hard and taking care of business. Ive been going here for years and never had a problem. It can get busy at times but never has been a problem with my appontment time. Good Drs (that care) and nurses, as well as friendly staff that never lose their cool no matter how busy it gets. Its been like that throughout the years and thats not something you see very often.

Terrible service. I’ve been needing my meds for almost two weeks and they keep giving me the run around. It’s a medication I can’t stop taking either so if I were to have a heart attack or something that’s on them. I cannot stress this enough don’t go here. Find a better health care provider.

So Ive been back twice since this incident but have been treated worse then before. I have doctor (dr shaukry) and I wont go back because you keep giving me this doctor after she lied to me after I got a vaccine that I didnt have a seizure when I had someone right there watching. And said oh no your fine and then kept me there 1 hour after my vaccine because they were afraid to let me leave if something did happen. She keeps trying to pressure the second dosage of vaccine and I dont trust he to give it to me because of what happened. I dont want to be shunned from the clinic just need better doctors

My grandma had an appointment and when we got there it was close. We waited 15mins along with 20+ people waiting as well (with appointments too), to find out there office was completely closed. There was no sign indicating they were not going to be open that day, however if that was the case, why give my grandma and everyone else there an appointment? Wish there was at least a small note on the door.

Got lucky no appointment actually got my primary Hes very good doctor.

Several years ago I had a small growth on my back that was removed at this clinic and the doctor was very proffessional and meticulous throughout the procedure.I think her name was Dr. Chen?

My son saw a dr at the Escondido location on Elm just a few short months ago. Beware of their ridiculous billing practices! He was billed for his deductible, fine. We never received the 3 bills they claim they sent so without even a phone call to him to check on payment, he was sent to collections!!! Ive been in this line of work for 24+ years and never heard of this! We never sent an account without attempting every form of communication. These people say its not their responsibility to call every patient! This is ridiculous! Currently working on getting this corrected so we can pay the undisputed balance & get this removed from my sons credit as it was completely inappropriate for this to have happened. These people are the lowest of the low. Its all about the bottom line for them, not about the patients or following proper protocol. Go at your own risk! Not only was there an issue with the billing department, but the doctor was way off in what he tried to prescribe for my son!

I have been going here for many years. Totally happy with my experience as always.

The worst doctor ever..Dr. Bishop...I have seen her a few times..always telling her about my back issues/pain..never does anything..sends me to a chiropractor...tells me to use a tennis ball to massage my back..I have major chronic back pain..finally cant take the pain anymore..go in on monday night..she prescribes me a gel..that even she says my insurance wont cover for a few days...its now friday.. still no gel..but yet how is one to appy gel under right shoulder blade all by yourself where you cant reach when nobody is home to help you...my 13 yr old daughter found a knot size of a golf ball after we left that night...not the Doctor....so I am still in severe pain..and have to work like this! Worst doctor ever!! Oh and she referred me to a physical therapy clinic that they are not partnerd with.

Ive been with NHHC for many years and have had my share of issues with my doctors and now I just found out via Online Portal that my lab test came back with serious results and my doctor(Nakamura) never bothered to call me to let me know so we can discuss what I need to do. I had no idea I have this problem. Thank goodness Im changing doctors. If you read this and have or will get Dr. Nakamura... beware! Shes a bit crass and rude. Ba-bye Melanie!

Dr. Schiff and Dr. Rehm are wonderful and totally worth any wait, but everything you need is right there. They have three lab there same x rays are just down the street.

They are very bad and horrible when it comes to services because trying to make an appointment could take more than 3 days. And the staff/doctors are bad at their jobs thats why I dont recommend going to that clinic.

Well from my experience they are all A-OK!! All of these winers are either chickens or probably couldnt get their pain killers refilled or something!! This goes out to them winers:(it gets worse!)

This clinic sucks for mental health clients. They refuse to treat people who smoke marijuana.

The supporting staff is great doctors do not care about their patients. If they try to get you to see Doctor(and I use the term lightly} EDE .....RUN!

Welcome to the 3rd world of health care - head south you may get better and then some...This place advised me it could not bill my insurance carrier which sucks its Medi Cal...Now I am locked in an ugly issue with the county of San Diego...Do yourself a favor avoid this place it sucks...Oh by the way thanks for never responding to my emails - its hard to hear afte no hearing test for over 30 years...What a sad shape of American Health care it reminds me of an old italian saying big front and not a pot to pee in...

2.5 hours to be called back for vitals, weight, etc. 3 hours to see 24 year old doctor fresh outa school ...

Always best to call in and schedule an appointment. Once there youll be seen quite quickly.
