Planned Parenthood - Englewood Health Center

Leslie was so amazing and made me feel so much better about everything im going through a true angel and im thankful for her. The clinic was also very clean and everybody that worked here was super friendly and very informational, again a big shoutout to Leslie for getting me through it all.

I had a great experience here. I was able to get my IUD inserted within about two hours and the provider was very very gentle. She was able to use a topical lidocaine which made the whole procedure painless. She also made sure I was a good candidate for the type of IUD I received. I felt very comfortable with the staff and I was listened to for anything I had questions about. I will definitely come back to this location for anything related to my IUD.

I am unfortunately going thru multiple issues. I needed to be seen. Last week, I made an appointment for today, at 1pm. I arrive at 1240, first not realizing I needed quarters for parking (I asked the person who I made an appointment with if there was parking and she “had no idea”, what?? Anyway-) I’m looking all over my car. I walk in at 1250 (Would have been earlier but today is the day after the wild wind we had and there was a lot of obstructions on the road causing delays). There’s 2 people in line ahead of me. (Mind you: I chose this location due to how slow and awful Hackensack was) it took the woman over 10 mins to check in both people. Receptionist tells the person ahead of me “we’re going on break til 2:30, so you’ll be waiting awhile”. It’s 1:03. I ask the receptionist if they’re going on break like I heard. She said yes. I asked why they would give me an appointment at the same time they go on break. She says “well if you were here by 1 you would have been seen” ??????And yes, of course they were “calm and nice”, I’m sure they’re used to how horrible they are and unpleasant reactions, altho I was calm the whole time. They’re only saying “we’re transitioning, sorry” “you’ll never be seen at the time of your appointment” ok???? I can understand a 30-45 min wait, but making my appointment for when you all go on break? I have serious panic disorder. I expressed I cannot sit and wait for 1.5 hours. She said it would be more like 3. I had to leave. This is a disgrace. And I really freaking needed help. And I don’t have an opportunity to come back/go to another doc for at least a week and a half as I am going away. Meanwhile I can’t continue with these issues I’m facing. To tell patients, regardless of the reasoning, that they’ll have to wait 3 hours is a disgrace alone. and not allowing the patient to leave and come back is just disgusting. Y’all know you help people who need it and don’t have other options. Taking advantage of us is DISGUSTING. “Transitioning” enough. Hackensack told me that 2 years ago and a year ago. DONT BE FOOLED BY THESE FIVE STAR REVIEWS CAUSE THE REVIEWS WERE THE ONKY REASON I CHOSE HERE. PLANNED PARENTHOOD SHOULD BE ASHAMED AS I SEE EVERY SINGLE ONE IS THE SAME!!!

This location is my go to place to get my birth control and testing done. I always feel so safe and supported whenever I come to Planned Parenthood. I had an appointment to get an IUD for the first time in my life, so I went in extremely nervous and anxious but Jill and Ashley literally held my hand and walked me through the whole process. I was absolutely terrified about the insertion, but they made sure to make it as painless as possible for me, and whole procedure finished so quickly. Overall, the pain was very manageable for me and Im really glad I had them in the room with me. They made the overall experience so much better and helped with my anxiety. I highly recommend this location!!

Drove an Hr and 10 mins to this location because I refused to go to the other planned parenthood due to prior incidents of unprofessionalism. Ashley & Jessica were beyond amazing , they made me feel comfortable the entire process and I highly recommend this location! Will come again

I really recommend. i being coming to this clinic for a couple years they really take care and concern about their job. I usually goin to my primary Dr. To check meonce a year and every 3 months for a hi blood pressure ,,, and he never found i had a enlarged tyroid Ashley found it and she send me to see a specialist. And. Of course I went. And. it was big tumor. which i really thankful to. Otherwise who knows when I gonna find out. Thank you Ashley !!!

Alice, Leslie, and Christina took very good care of me! The wait time was short, the nurses were time efficient, they were gentle, professional, and made me feel very comfortable. I was in and out with in a snap of the fingers. Planned parenthood is an essential business for the community’s, health, awareness, for emergencies, and for support! We are very lucky that we have nurses like them, who genuinely care, running the facility. Highly recommend!

The staff here is amazing! Although they could use some better more updated equipment! But definitely staff was amazing! Worked well for me and made me feel so comfortable while being there. They worked well with me and got me in and out quickly!

From the moment I walked in, I got treated with so much respect & great care. I got my Nexplanon implant removed by Ashley and she was the BEST. Thank you all 🙏🏼♥️

I called to obtain information regarding testing and was told they do NOT test for venereal diseases. Yet, on their website it clearly says STD testing, so I called back to inquire. The operator was rude and lacked general knowledge concerning services offered. When I proceeded to ask for hours of operation, she disconnected the call !! This is not the type of employee that should be dealing with patients during times they are dealing with sensitive and emotional issues

My Medicaid was terminated and I was and am still going through this process.. Unfortunately I am on medication. Birth control being one of the medications. I went as a walk in. I was prepared to wait, considering I was a walk in. I waited less than an hour. I am on a payment plan, until my insurance is straightened out- it can be submitted within 3 months issues...So, i have set up a plan with the front desk.Like the other girl who wrote the not good review, I was asked to pay much more. Im not sure why she didnt say something, because there are signs even saying your health is important, regardless of your issues or whatever... I think that was an unfortunate misunderstanding.However, I was totally unable to pay the high price and I do have a payment plan until I can submit it to my insurance again for a reimbursement and they can submit it as well for the rest of the payment. It is what it is. I left with my birth control in a little over an hour. : )The staff was very nice, and the office had warm vibes. Its much nicer than when I was in my teens...I have always had a spot in my heart for Planned Parenthood and you guys have never let me down... I am very grateful. Thank you xx

Everyone was super nice and the whole process was super easy, it was my first time ever and I felt really pleased. Definitely recommend coming here to anyone. Although, I did wait over an hour it’s completely fine because they’re great.

Im upset at the tactlessness of the staff. You are all supposed to be professionals but when I asked if my best friend could accompany me in the room, the doctor(nurse,idk?) turned to another employee, blew out her cheeks and held her hands far from her side, and waddled, to signify the other person was heavy. That was extremely childish and unprofessional. I cant believe that even happened to be honest.

I would just go to the Hackensack location. Scheduling an appointment isnt very reliable and good luck if youre trying to get a walk-in. The staff is very friendly but uncoordinated, which makes it damn near impossible to be seen unless you have an early appointment

Absolutely kind and caring staff working here. No stress-induced situations. Everything went by smoothly, with no troubles.

Not a bad place but they should honor those first who has an appointment, walk ins will have to get in where they fit in, I work so when I make an appointment I expect that appointment time to be honored so I can continue my day, but other than that staff is nice and new doctor is nice

Very professional and friendly staff. I also like the fact that they have female doctors there. I was very comfortable and they give you the option to select a female doctor.

The worse service Extremely rude when you get the nurse at the front desk. She should let the receptionist do her job. If she don’t like her job. She should not treat customers the way she that’s.

The worst place ever rude not professional they should fire most of this unprofessional people who answer the phone they are racist toward Spanish patient and patient privacy is not safe make sure everyone call the health department or file complain towards this company. go your privacy is not safe there are the people who answer the phone they are so racist to Latinos this place everyone should complain Trenton also to the health department since customer rights are not respected and the way these women answer the phone They are extremely aggressive and not the least bit respectful towards anyone.

They discriminate against the Latin community.
