There’s is a lady that works the front desk with natural hair and crazy looking eyelashes. She is rude and hateful. No problem solving skills, no smile, no customer service skills at all. She is literally just here. Please fire her. The doctors are great but the front desk lady is an absolute horror.

I was a walk-in referred from WALMART pharmacy.The wait really wasnt that bad, maybe about 2-3 hours, as a first time client. but where I come from Im used to a eight hour wait so that really wasnt that bad.I really enjoyed the check-in from my phone so I didnt have to be messing with all that paperwork I really enjoyed that part of it!The doctor was amazing his working knowledge of my symptoms was impressive. His bedside manner was amazing. I usually feel uncomfortable with male doctors, but he was very friendly and professional.The lady that checked me in and took my stats, she was very attention to detail really kind and patient and expeditious, especially entering all my medication into the system.It was a very pleasurable experience, considering that I wasnt feeling well!Thank you for making my experience so pleasant.I would definitely recommend this provider to anyone who asked they were definitely top-notch!!!

Read the reviews for this place as I was waiting over an hour AFTER my appointment time has passed, and I can agree on the following. The medical personnel who work at urgent care are phenomenal. Larry was an awesome doctor to be seen by and was super quick, yet super professional. However, the front desk clerks are seemingly inconvenienced by your presence. They’d do anything to just get you to go away.

Went to the office early Saturday a.m. had to wait about a half an hour but thats because I had to fill out paperwork because Im a new patient, front office was very professional, helpful, and courteous, nurse took me into the examination room, she was very nice, very pleasant and then I saw PA Larry Jensen, and he was just wonderful, I felt very good about his taking care of me, he was a very thoughtful, respectful, and a polite gentleman. I would go back to him in a heartbeat he took really good care of me, gave me a prescription I had it filled and within 24 hours I was feeling so much better! Very happy going to this place, its better than going to my own physician who I dislike immensely, LOL

I had a suspicion that I had Covid and my husband made an appointment for me. I was in and out within an hour and a half. The staff is always great, but Steve is just amazing. He is always helpful, answers all my questions to where I can understand them, he is gentle with me and patient with my needs. The Provider Larry was amazing as well. Wait was extremely long because the only had one PA on staff, but the office staff nurses couldn’t been nicer. The PA took time to explain the procedures and meds, and was very thorough.Although I was there entirely too long, the folks there knew how to make the best of a troublesome wait,!

We made an appointment for 1:12 PM We were not seeing until 2:30 pm. If the rules are first come first serve, that should posted. Once taken in the back , the story changed. It took about five minutes after our childs vitals were taken for the PA-C Mr. Jensen To come in and he did a thorough check up of our son.He was courteous professional, and he listened to our concerns. He even engaged with our son to build a reporter before he started exam. His calm demeanor soothed my husband and I as he was able to provide a simple diagnosis for the presenting symptoms. For this visit I would give the The doctor an A+ the outside staff and online tools for scheduling a D-.

We were pleasantly surprised by how fast we were seen. The staff was very kind, though no doubt overworked. We have had long waits at this place before and at no fault to the employees, we have not enjoyed it in the past. This time it took us less than an hour to check in, be seen, and prescription written.

The medical professionals Shawn and Mary were real helpful and gave personal touches. Luckily I didn’t break any bones, but they showed me how to use the brace properly in fastening and strapping it on. They kept a positive attitude, despite being shortstaffed, super busy and a Friday night/weekend!

Overall visit was good. Total time was 2.5 hours with about 1.5 hours before I was seen as a walk in. PA and Nurse/tech were efficient and treatment was appropriate. Front desk was effective, but somewhat blunt.

Looong. Provider was efficient and the X-ray tech and all staff were very friendly and professional. But I was given an appt of 5:12 after finding out a provider was not available for the appt made online 2 days before. Arrived @ 5:05 with paperwork completed online, I payed copay upon arrival then sat for 1.5 hours before being seen. Walk-ins should not be prioritized on a day appts were made for patients already stood up on their first “appointment”. Maybe just don’t accept or schedule appointments.

I reserved a time and was told at front desk they were working with only one provider so it could be awhile. Everyone was very courteous and kind! Dr. Larry was thorough and nice as always! Its one of the reasons I feel comfortable coming to this urgent care!

Had a rash on my right forearm for several days, tried home remedies without prevail. Made an appointment online, completed the paperwork and was seen the next day. The wait time was not long, saw the nurse and the PA. A prescription was called in and I am in the process of taking the medications to clear up this issue. Thanks again. I went to NextCare in Elizabeth City for the first time Thursday May 30th. I had an 11:00 appointment, the check in was fine. I had a 45 minute wait which is not fine, the reason for appointments is to avoid an excessive wait, I went in the back was placed in a room and waited 15 more minutes. They seem to schedule too many for one time slot. When you also work this kind of wait is unacceptable. The Doctor was quick and pleasant, but most people who make appointments expect them to be honored.

Everyone around here knows the reputation for this office but because of her I almost forgot I was in urgent care in Elizabeth city. She was fantastic.

If I could give Zero stars for this visit I would. My mother was seen at this location, on July 12th, and the nurse or whatever she was, that came into the room before the doctor, was the rudest that Ive EVER encountered. Very unprofessional, and needs to go back to learn better etiquette!! She needs to learn, if youre having a bad day, leave that mess at home, if not, dont bring your a** to work!!

Very helpful staff, my daughter and I were having a rough morning, come to find out we both had strep throat. The nurses and doctor were very fast in trying to figure out what was going on. I had gone to my naval medical facility the day before, and was told it’s just a cold and was turned away because I came outside of their sick call hours. If I ever have any other medical issues or need medical help I will just come to urgent care, here I know I will be taken care of as fast as possible.

Had a 6.20 pm appt. Finally seen at 8 pm. Only one PA on duty, but he was great. Asked for my prescription be phoned into pharmacy in my town. Didnt happen, so Walgreens had it transferred. Got charged co-pay even though my insurance covers urgent care. Had to get insurance on phone so they could explain my benefits. Co-pay was refunded.

The wait was long. I had an appointment for 3:20 and wasn’t taken back until 5:45ish. With that being said I was informed at checkin that there was only one provider and there would be an extended wait. Every staff member from checkin, to triage, to my provider(I believe her name was Ari) was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and did everything to give the most positive patient experience. It’s unfair to hold a clinic to wait times if they aren’t staffed and it’s extra hard for the staff who is there to provide such an excellent care with unhappy and tired patients. Hats off to this amazing staff.

The actual visit was fine. The problem was that I went because I had an issue that needed a Rx. The Rx information was not called in the the pharmacy, and I was one of the last patients seen before they closed. This was AFTER I specifically inquired if they had phoned it in. Which meant that I suffered all night without the necessary medication.I HATE INCOMPETENCE!

I had a scheduled follow up and I was seen within 20 minutes of checking in. Usually the wait is 30 mins to an hour+. Dr Jensen was attentive, informative, and decisive. I recommend this provider.

Was told at intake to consider a tele-health visit. Waited two hours and paid $100 to see the PA-C for 5 minutes to tell me to follow up with my primary care physician and that labs may be needed. He give me the diagnosis that I listed on the intake form.

Did not have an appointment. Check in was via an application on the phone. I had issues and did a paper check in. Front desk staff were present but not very friendly. Nursing staff and physician were efficient and had me out the door with appropriate medication about 10 minutes after being put into a room. Did however have to wait about 2 hours in the waiting room which wasnt unreasonable since I did not have an appointment and my medical issue was a painful skin rash.

The front desk were more interested in their lunch order than their patients! The Pa stated he would be right back with my paperwork and after an hour and me having to go to the restroom again, I asked where he was and how much longer he would be.INSTEAD of checking on my paperwork they answer me by stating We only have one provider.The staff had no concerns that I was in pain, had been there for hours, or if I should be checked out, they just went back to giggling, having their lunch and talking with each other. Since, Im a mental heath therapist, run the Elizabeth City office and the Clinical Director for the agency I know how an office should be managed and your Elizabeth City office is lacking in companion for the client and needs to be trained in professional conduct.

Sometimes you can tell when you’re sick, sometimes some of us can’t because we spend each day fighting our immune systems. I have traveled many roads to see many well known oncologist and rheumatologist. Yesterday was an off day, which happens, more so lately as my illness is progressively worsening. I found my self with a sudden fever and chills, I tried my local doctor but it seems he is extremely busy these days and I know I can’t wait 2 weeks to be seen. I found myself at urgent care next care. I’m always uneasy seeing someone new, as I take a lot of meds and I’m known to go into shock, but this time, I found a dr. Who was compassionate, who was understanding, who took her time to check me over leaving not one thing unseen. The entire team was pleasant and understanding, add they were backed up for hours, and still treated me as if I was important. I want to give a tremendous thank you to the entire staff and to PA-C Arielle IIey. Arielle ,thank you for treating me with kindness and understanding, thank you for listening and working with me. I will forever be grateful for you . It’s nice to see someone who actually loves what they do and I can definitely tell you do. You have know idea how it felt to feel heard and not like a lab rat. I will keep looking in the future to see if you pop up as a local practitioner, I’d love to be a patient of yours if you do. Thank you all again, you’re all so much appreciated by me.

They were helpful, very helpful. With the issues I was having they got me back very quickly. I was so thankful for that. Took me ahead of other people because I guess mine was more urgent. They sent my prescriptions to the Food Lion pharmacy right across the parking lot. Followed up today with a call saying that I may also need an anabiotic and they called that in. I was very pleased and very grateful for their help.

Discrepancy issues at the front desk due lack of communication of behalf of staff. Lack of transparency of pricing. Lack of professionalism, and empathy from front desk and nursing staff. Pricing is outrages.One instance, they lied to my immigrant mother about pricing, charged her membership fees without asking her if she wanted it first, were rude, and did not properly explain or assist.Fortunately, the physicians are always kind.

There was only one provider when I arrived for my appointment. The wait was over 1-1/2 hours, and I don’t think they were able to prioritize for those with appointments (or at least it didn’t appear to be the case). Once I saw the provider, a Physician Assistant, the process was smooth.

My visit was on the morning of March 19, 2024. I arrived shortly before they opened and was the third person in line to check in a little after 8:00. I was so sick I could barely figure out how to check in... after fumbling around with my phone, one of the receptionists said I was checked in. I sat down near the check-in window and watched similar things happen to people with people trying to figure out how to check in. I wonder why there were several people at the reception window and they couldnt help people.I asked to use the bathroom after 10 AM. Upon returning to my seat, I learned that I hadnt checked in. I was so sick that I didnt realize that my phone had no service and no way of checking in.Once I got checked in. The process went much quicker. It was after noon my the time I was able to get my antibiotics filled and onto slow recovery.Several days passed, and I wasnt feeling better, so I made an appointment to see my primary care provider. I learned that I was underdosed with antibiotics, and blood work revealed that I had an infection.I understand that there was only one PA on duty that day, and he can only do so much. However, I dont get why you need several people to tell patients to scan the barcode.

Was a great experience....only thing arrived at 12:45 and left at 3:30 long wait but understandable when one is a walk in.. Front desk, NP and PA were polite, pleasant and listened patiently, they called my prescription and I was out of there.. The offices and waiting rooms were clean and well lighted. ThanksThe only thing I felt sorry for some senior citizens over 79 -80 somethings that were there and had to wait that long and longer...I would have let them go in front of me if needed. . Would be nice if older people and children would take preference...there was a couple of 80s something that the husband was ill...and another 80something left because couldnt wait any longer.

Had to check out the amenities in my new town. NextCare in Elizabeth City is darn good. They willingly set appointments online for the same day or take walk ins. A bit of a wait, not bad at all and they warned with a sign at the door that they were short staffed.Still the visit was shorter than the time it took to get my RXs. But Hey! At least the pharmacy is open on a holiday!

The woman at the front desk leaves something to be desired. You cant hear her through the glass and they try to get you to leave and make a tele-health appointment. My wife has a sore throat, dont really think tele-health is the best option in this circumstance. You can make an appointment online but its not really an appointment so we waited all day for an appointment that doesnt save us any time!Please Elizabeth City, please stop opening Mexican restaurants and storage units and put in another urgent care center.

My son was misdiagnosed, saying that it was fluid behind his ears, causing him to collapse. The doctor Suggested a medication for a kid that was four and up and my child was only one. Had an appointment scheduled for 3:50 to come in for an appointment, mind you said appointment was made at 1:04. We got here and people that had came here AFTER us were able to get in and out within 30 minutes or so. About 3 hours later we finally got in so we could get treated, and its not like we could leave and go to the ER considering they had already ran my moms insurance and already charged us for the appointment. Doctors are nice and friendly but the wait is terrible.

Horrible horrible experience, I would have rather drove 45 minutes to Chesapeake for medical treatment. I would not recommend this place at all. The PA was very very rude and had no personality whatsoever, after my initial examination he walked back in 10 minutes later and “shoved” my discharge paperwork in my hand without any explanation. Checked in at 11:20 for and 11:40 appointment, didn’t walk out until after 1:00 pm . The waiting room is so so outdated, made me feel sicker than I was before I walked in! It felt like been stunk in a 90’s episode of ER , without the bad acting. My advice take yourself to Nowcare for true medical care!

If it werent for the fact I was able to at least laugh while being seen, I would give a one star rating. I fell on Wednesday while rollerskating and broke my wrist and opposite elbow. Unfortunately NextCare was closed at the time of my accident, so I made an appointment for the following morning. One of the ladies at the front desk doesnt really show sympathy or patience for anyone, so that was off putting while trying to check in. Paid my copay and waited about 45 minutes after check in to be seen, which was fine, there were several people in front of me. The visit went well, I was given a sling and told to keep the brace on that I already had. I was prescribed meds for pain, given a copy of my x-rays, told to follow up with orthopedics, and given a note that I could return to work on Monday (today as I write this).The office called me later Thursday afternoon to send over a referral to the orthopedic surgeon. Found out this morning (again, Monday, four days after), that my referral was never sent over. Please get it together, NextCare. This isnt the first issue Ive had at that office.

The nurse and NP were awesome and we were in and out within an hour. Very disappointed in the fact that we made an online appointment at 8am and online days to arrive 10 minutes early. hours on the door were from 8-8. We arrived 10 minutes early, It was 25 degrees outside with several people in line by 8. No lights were on so obviously staff must not have arrived to work and couldn’t open at 8:00 am. none ever came to the door to let folks in until 8:10. Your business should have at least one staff person arrive to work before it is time to open your doors.

Good experience. Check in, wait time, Physician’s time wasn’t too long and rather prompt. The front desk receptionist, attending nurse and the Physician were all very pleasant. Atmosphere was also pleasant and peaceful. My issue was acknowledged and I received the necessary treatment. Also, my first time ever visiting a Dr’s facility or clinic with a movie playing in the wait area and the examining room. Although animated, I enjoyed the first time experience.

Long delay with appointment, medical associate (Obtain vital signs) was non approachable and frank rude, no swab, X-ray or palpation of injury was obtained.Antibiotics were prescribed from information given.Individual who forward prescription to CVS was very courteous and approachable.I highly recommend associates receive communication and professional patient care training ASAP.This was a terrible experience. I would NOT recommend the facility to anyone.

I scheduled an appointment online and the interface was really easy to work with. I unfortunately ended up waiting over an hour, but it was packed so I wasnt upset. Everyone who I interacted with who worked there was so kind and really wanted the best for me. It was really awesome because a lot of times in healthcare, they look and treat you like a number. Great support staff despite a 4 hour long wait, but I just wasted my time and money with one of the most unprofessional Nurse Practitioners I have ever met. The exam although maybe five minutes was not pleasant. My daughter said she could tell that the NP was not in a good mood and the NP clearly didn’t care about my daughter or what the NP was doing ie her job. After my daughter received a chest X-ray I was handed a couple sheets of paperwork and told I could leave. No one bothered to follow up with a diagnosis, explanation of expected treatment, that a prescription was even ordered, or even what the prescription was, how it should be taken and what it was for. When I asked the person who handed paperwork- an admin staff I guess I was never told- the NP came out of somewhere with her voice raised as she was taken aback that I questioned the situation. She wanted to intimidate me, however it didn’t work. The NP- a supposed medical “professional” was rude, unwilling to answer any questions calmly but instead did this quite loud in the middle of the hallway embarrassing my daughter. I will not be picking up the medication because I still was never given any medication instructions or the help I asked for but I will be taking my daughter tomorrow to a real professional medical provider. One that doesn’t raise her voice when asking about the results of a chest X-ray and what diagnosis and prognosis will be for my child.

This morning at 10:00, I scheduled a visit to come in today for an appointment at 1:15. I checked in online at 10:00. After I arrived, I checked in at the desk and was told there were 11 people ahead of me, most of them were walk-ins with no appointment. Instead of prioritizing the appointment, they placed me on the waiting list behind the people with no appointment. What is the point of scheduling? Why did I bother checking in online? I could have come in at 10 this morning but I didn’t want to wait in a room with 10 other sick people. Now it’s 2:45 and I am still waiting. Fortunately the ladies at the desk were accommodating and allowed me to wait in the car. Still very disappointed that I wasted my time.

I went up for a DOT physical and had all my paperwork filled out before I paid and there was an automatic disqualifying medication listed and yet your policy is now set up to get peoples money. I was told yall used to tell people before charging them if they saw any absolute disqualifiers in the paperwork but recently changed the policy to taking the money and waisting patients time and hard earned money. Its agregious, despicable and the most outrageous display of GREED Ive ever seen. Outragious wait of 3+ hours for a scheduled appointment, then the P.A. that saw me, did not listen to me on what symptoms I had. Focused on the throat and compleatly ignored the sinus issue I was complaining about. Then wrote a compound prescription that only 1 pharmacy can fill that wasnt open by the time I got out. I understand that it is cold and flu season, and things can get busy, but 3 hours! Only to feel like I got broomed out the door! Extreemly unhappy and if this is how you practice medicine, then dont.

I came in for two urgent care visits this week. During my first visit staff took 1.5 hours, during which they paid direct attention to my needs, and prescribed, appropriately. On my second visit, where, it was apparent that other symptoms were appearing, staff redoubled their efforts, tested extensively, and spent closer to 3 hours with me. They confirmed three different disease processes, and, again prescribed appropriate treatment. Ive never had a GP spend that sort of time and care, confirming diagnoses! Thank You, Next Care.

Set an appointment for my mother. We arrived half hour early. After an hour wait past appointment time, asked at front desk how much longer. Was told an hour and half, six people still ahead of her. Everyone with appointment? No, walk ins. Walk ins get in line because no appointment necessary.I could have gotten her there sooner or anytime apparently no priority. Because she is 98 and wheelchair bound, in pain from a fall……I was trying to make this as easy on her as possible .. quite a system. We sat a little longer than decided to cancel and find alternate treatment. Very detached receptionist.

Went to the Nextcare with lower back pain and did a video visit first, went for an xray and was told I should sign up for their advantage plan because Xrays could be quite expensive, so I did, only to have the Dr assistant come in looks at me and tells me hes going to order me a muscle relaxer, when he gave me the prescription, I asked about the Xray, he said I didnt need one. So how can anyone tell you that without even checking, guess they thought I was lying. They are understaffed and it was the worst experience and I am still in severe pain, thanks for nothing but taking my money.

I was a walk in... so I expected to be waiting awhile as they fit me in between patients with appointments. They were great. I logged in at 2:55... I was seen ... Treated .. received a prescription.. and written directions for follow on care... And was in my car by 4:00 heading to the pharmacy. The MA and PA were thorough and efficient. I felt like they really cared about my condition and that I understood the importance of the follow up care. Thanks to all that processed my information and treated my condition.

The physician assistant I had had a horrible bedside manner. First off he did not render the care I desperately needed. In fact I ended up at the ER at Chesapeake Regional Hospital. I have epiglottis and had a bad infection in which I could not eat or drink and the pain was very very server. I was aspirating a lot . He talked down to me and it made me feel less than how a patient should have been cared for. He stood there arms crossed in which no caring or compassion was given. I was in pain so bad from the throat infection and swelling and burning was unbearable and left having to suffer until the next day I went to the Chesapeake hospital and they were wonderful and helped me greatly. I felt I was judged by the PA because when I asked for pain meds his prompt answer was harshly spoken as NO. He could have responded politely by saying How about we wait and you can try the prescriptions I have put in and see if you get some relief. If not then come back and we can see what else we can try and try a couple days of pain meds until you can talk with your primary care doctor. And let him know the pain your are having and he will help you. he could have even said that we have to be very careful on giving them out because of new regulations. And I know others suffer because of others abusing it and we can get into trouble. Its all in how you respond to your patients. Plan out and teach yourself on what to say on situations such as this. But the rest of the staff were great. He needs more bedside training for the sake of the patients he sees.

The staff are good people- I have no quarrel with them. However, I do have a problem with whomever is in charge of hiring people over there. Our appointment was at 3:50. My fiancé and I got home at 7:20. It is no longer an urgent care when it takes four hours to be seen. This isnt just a problem for patients- its a problem for the poor staff who are overworked and who im sure get fussed at constantly by impatient people who have no idea its gonna take that long to be seen. For the sake of the staff, please hire more people.

I went here March 20th, and I wont be coming back. The staff was very friendly and professional. The wait time was very long, even with an appointment, but it would have been a long wait at the hospital too. The only difference is Urgent Care is a lot cheaper. Thats why I went to get a chest x-ray there. If I went to my primary care doctor for what was wrong with me, he just would have sent me to the hospital.The reason I wont be back would be the nurse practitioner I saw. She had a condescending attitude, she was rude and she literally rolled her eyes at me. She is definitely in the wrong kind of work with a attitude like that. I was hoping I could go to Urgent Care when I needed a x-ray to save money because I have medical bills out the wazoo, but I guess not. I definitely do not recommend this place. Oh, there was a woman across from me coughing up a storm, blowing her nose in the air, sneezing and she had no mask on. Everyone else who was sick did. NO ONE told her to wear a mask to protect the wellbeing of everyone else in the room. If youre not sick when you come here, you probably wont leave that way.

Really no point at all to have patients schedule appointments then have them arrive and say sorry we only have one provider so we’re backed up three hours.Did you honestly not know that you only had one provider on the schedule, and if you did why the hell would anyone continue allowing people to book appointments.If there was a patient first facility or literally ANY other Urgent Care facility that was run competently this place would be out of business.

While the staff was nice enough and the wait time wasnt atrocious, given only having one provider, I was seen on a Wednesday for pain in my foot causing moderate to severe pain so bad that I was barely able to walk.I was prescribed a knee scooter to help me with getting around and was ordered to keep all weight off my foot for two weeks to allow it to heal.I took my prescription to Medi-Health to get the scooter and they put in an order to Nextcare for my chart to work with insurance to square away payment and issue.It is now four days later and I just found out from Nextcare that they didnt respond to Medi-Healths request until two days later - because I called and complained! Its now the weekend and Medi-Health is closed; unsure of whether or not theyll be open Monday or Tuesday due to the federal holiday, meaning I have to limp around with weight on this foot for nearly a week after being told to stay off of it for two.Unsatisfactory!

This doctor was amazing. Very friendly and down to earth. He did not use medical jargon that i could not understand, but simple terms and explanations. He was very thorough in examining my eye and very knowledgeable about the issue. He was quick yet very caring and understanding. He had the best bedside manner I have seen in a while. The Medical staff were very kind and performed their jobs well. I received an X-ray and was on my way within the hour. I tried to go on a Saturday morning around 10 am they were already booked up for the day so I made an appointment for Sunday morning. They took me in on time, was promptly seen, X-rays taken , diagnosed, treated and on my way in under 2 hours. Jessica is amazing and very thorough.

I have used next care three times in the last year. I have been pleased with the care I’ve received. The medical staff is empathetic and kind. Each time I felt like I was heard and understood. I’m glad to have their clinic within a reasonable proximity to where I live.

Friendly, professional staff. About 30 minute wait time. Next time I go there Ill ask for a less expensive cough syrupnurse was friendly and professional and dealt with my 3 and 4 year old very well making what could have been a very negative experience a positive one. I found the check in experience confusing for walk in appointments.

The check in process went smoothly. Very short wait time after check in until the nurse took me into the clinical area to take my vital signs. The provider presented shortly afterwards did her exam and gave me a diagnosis. I was out within an hour. It was an excellent experience.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. We were visiting family from out of town and rushed to urgent care to get there BEFORE they closed because my son was in need of care for croup. We knocked on the door 15 minutes BEFORE closing time because the door was LOCKED. Someone came to the door and said they could not take anymore patients despite us literally begging for help. She said you can go to the ER. I was completely baffled and in tears in the pouring rain as she shut the door on us. I was livid. The next closest urgent care was 45 minutes away and closing soon so we were forced to go to the ER and spend an astronomical amount of money. I feel genuinely bad for the people of Elizabeth City for having this place as their only source of urgent care outside of the hospital.

My experience at the NextCare Elizabeth City location was for my 85 year old sister. The Next Care team were very welcoming and best of all very helpful. My Sisters issue was resolved right there in a timely,and caring manner. We couldn’t ask for better from that team. Thank you to the whole team registration , intake , to the medical staff.

I appreciate the attentiveness of you reaching out to your customers in this way about their experiences.I was personally very impressed with the friendliness and organization of the staff. They put a kids movie on when we walked in and the PA we saw was a dream with our 2 year old. We did have to wait, but I now know I can make an appointment ahead of time, and I am very grateful I did not have to drive to Portsmouth and sit in an ER. Thank you for supporting our military family and accepting Tricare.

When I went in it Thursday around 3:30-3:45 theree were 6 or 7 people already waiting to be seen, but I felt like patients were being seen in a timely manner. The staff was very courteous and compassionate, there was only one nurse there that I felt was crabby and unpleasant. Other than that I was very satisfied with my return visit to have stitches removed that I had done there 10 days prior to this visit.

I was able to schedule an afternoon appointment at about 11:30, which was more convenient than waiting all day at the ER. Waiting periods were less than other urgent cares I have experienced before, which was nice. From checkin to discharge was about 45-60 minutes. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The wait was extremely long for an Urgent Care. Turn-around times in a busy Level 1 ER would have been much quicker for a minor care issue. Once I got to the back, I was seen and treated quickly. The staff was friendly and competent. Clearly, they need more staff.

They have a very friendly staff from the ladies at check-in, to the nurses, to the x-ray tech, whos a perfectionist after my own heart, to the PA who was patient answering all of my questions. It was a pleasant experience for not feeling so well.

In spite of difficult conditions they treated me with the same attention I expect from my primary care doctor. Explained my treatment and the logic behind it and, when I tried to make my copay, it wasn’t required because I had had a Covid 19 test. Had the negative results back in 20 minutes. Great, friendly care - will recommend without reservation.
