My personal experience at El Paso Wellness has been great. Dr. J. Guerra is an amazing human being. He gives you time and attention without rush. The girls at the front desk are very amiable and kind. The clinic itself is very clean and has a very welcoming environment.
My insurance changed and she would not give me 90 day supply while I look for a new provider when her medical assistant initially told me they would. Glad to change I was dreading an appointment she never remembers who you are you spend most of the appointment refreshing her memory meanwhile you have to hear her sister n law story every appointment. Glad to be moving on, but I do not recommend if you want to be remembered. This happened this week I’m on the hunt for a new doctor asap since she denied the 90 days, making her assistants look dumb in the process.
Both providers are exceptional. Both are incredibly easy to talk to which is so important to a patient. I highly recommend them (and do!) El Paso is lucky to have such a great team.
Dr is good only complaint is that i call and no one answers. They promised to send my prescription to pharmacy, but they never sent anything
Amazing service and both doctors are super helpful. You can tell they actually care about patients, had bronchitis for about a week and already gone to two urgent care centers and Dr. Guerra had a phone appointment calling later in the day as he was fully booked and helped me more in that phone call that the ither places i had been. Looking for a good doctor to help i highly recommend both him and Adrian guerra does woman care very well. It could be awkward but she always making sure i feel comfortable and helps me relax during exams. Looking for good care make an appointment here!
The entire office is thorough, caring, and professional. Mari, Blanca, and Lina are very friendly, polite and an experienced team. Mr. & Mrs.Guerra are easy to talk to, phenomenal listeners and extremely knowledgeable. I am so thankful to have my health in their hands. They make you feel like family. I refer them to my family and friends. Blessings, love, and light.
Adriane Guerra is a very informed and compassionate practitioner! She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and educate you about your body. She also thoroughly explains your test results to you and provides several treatment options while taking your preferences into account. She’s phenomenal!
I am so grateful to have found such a Phenomenal individual in a Doctor! My son was sick I happened to see Dr Guerra at a restaurant, immediately he finished eating and asked me if I could follow him. This was on a Saturday and he opened his clinic for us and took care of my sonSo Grateful for you and your staff Dr Guerra
The most amazing healthcare providers I have been blessed to have care for my children. Adriane and Jay are both wonderful, caring and professional. They are truly a God send. I trust them completely with my most cherished blessing, my daughters.
I have been going to them for many years and have found them to be professional and compassionate. I have never felt rushed and they have always given me as much time I need to ask questions. They truly listen, address every concern and are through in their treatment plans.I have been able to not only trust them with my care but also that of my familys. This team of professionals provides such a level of care that they feel like family.
Both Adriane and Jay Guerra are absolutely wonderful. So easy to talk to and so professional in their medical field. When I am there for an appointment, I feel as if Im with family. The same to their wonderful staff. Awesome 👌
I know it’s going to come off dramatic, but I had one of the worst experiences with a medical practice at this office. This place was recommended by a close friend. I was looking forward to my experience because I had just moved back to El Paso and hadn’t found a primary healthcare provider yet. I was especially looking forward to this practice because I believed their backgrounds as nurse practitioners would lead to more of a patient-centered practice. I was deeply disappointed. My appointment was in September of 2018. I waited for about 45 minutes before being called in to have my vitals reported. They sat me back outside and had me wait for another half hour before calling me again. Only this time they informed me that they were very backed up and asked if they could reschedule me. I thought they would be able to take me later that afternoon or in the next couple of days, but their next available appointment was more than a month away. I chose to not reschedule and go with another medical practice for my primary healthcare needs. In summary, my experience was disappointing. I found it to be unprofessional & not very well managed if I’m waiting for more than an hour just to be told that they won’t be able to see me that day even though I had an appointment.
Went for my first appointment ever. Got there 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment to complete forms and read several times how walk ins pretty much had to jump through hoops to get a visit. There are also instructions of cancelling appointments and how to warn the office if you need to cancel. In 10 minutes I completed the paperwork. My scheduled appointment time came and went while others were walking in and being seen before me. Finally I get called in and its just for my vitals. I get sent to the waiting room and 40 minutes passed my appointment time I get called...only to sit in another room for 15 minutes. I had other scheduled things planned. If Id had known or was explained that it would be well passed an hour before a doctor would see me, I wouldve never bothered. Im sure they wont miss my business but just wanted people to know what to expect.
Dr Francisco Guerra and his wife have been the best find for me. Dr Francisco as my PPO and Adrianne as my hormonal Dr. Both are so caring and professional and I always recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you for caring for our individual care!
Both Dr. Adriane and Francisco Guerra are a blessing in their field and to me. I would highly recommend them with much confidence . They have brought me much peace has Ive aged and dealt with MS. Thank you both and God bless you.
Im not one to give bad reviews, I steer away from them, but as much as I tried to not give this one, something in my heart told me I had to. I have always thought very highly of Dr. Guerra, but my last experience was the opposite. Im sure it had something to do with covid, as covid changed our worlds, but a doctors job is to help people and although Dr. Guerra did help me make positive changes, they werent quick enough for him and he pretty much gave me boot and told me to find another doctor. Maybe Im getting old and doctors get frustrated with their patients when they are older so they decide which patients they want to keep and which ones they dont want, but I have never had this experience before with a doctor. I was both saddened and disappointed in Dr. Guerra for doing this, but just want to share my experience as it may set the expectation for any new patient.
Mrs. Guerra is awesome! I just moved back to El Paso and was referred to her. She is so patient, understanding & very easy to talk with. She really took her time speaking with me and ensuring that all my health concerns/issues were met. Very kind, knowledgeable & resourceful.
I have been a patient of Francisco Guerra for a while now. I have cancer, chronic myeloid leukemia Ive had it for almost 8 years now. I have been in so much pain for a couple of months and for that reason it has been really hard for me to get up and go to work, for that reason Ive had to call in a couple of times. I am a correctional officer so I am on my feet for 8 hours or more. I called to see if he could fill out some papers for work to explain my condition. Lina his assistant called me yesterday telling me that he had said he couldnt fill in the papers for me because he also has the same condition and can function well. Well Mr. Guerra let me tell you something, not every case is the same. If it was for me I would find whatever supplements or medications you are taking so I could feel better but guess what I am a single mother of three and I am the sole provider which means I cant afford it, I am doing my best. I have to work because if I dont I would not have insurance and with out my insurance I could not get my chemotherapy which means I could end up dead and yeah I can not afford that either because I have kids that depend on me. I was actually very disappointed in your answer, you being a medical provider should know every case is different. I am very proud of myself for being able to work and doing my mommy duties as I know many of my leukemia brothers and sisters can not anymore. I am very happy for you that you are able to function well. May God bless you on your journey. I really hope you will never suffer from the pain that most of us do.
Dr. Jay Guerra is supportive, direct and honest. He has helped me through a weight loss journey and has done so in a caring and very supportive manner. He is encouraging, insightful and committed. His staff is very good and my appointment times are kept as promised.
I love A. Guerra. (her 5 stars) I have been with her since she was at the doctors inn on Lee Trevino. She is the only one I will go to for my annual exam. She has a gental touch and explains what your results mean and what would be the next step. The front desk staff, not the techs, the FRONT DESK and all other administrative people I have to say do not know what they are doing AT ALL. This has been the 3rd year in a row that I have had a problem with them. ( but keep going back and getting aggravated every year because I like a. guerra) First, I make my appointments in the morning so I can get back to work early enough to not have wasted the whole day. I get there and the receptionist says they have to call and verify that the visit is covered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. (Did yall not learn from last year when I made a big fuss about the samething) I dont know if they know this, but that is what the person handling the insurance is suppose to do THE DAY BEFORE not the day of, the day before. In all the offices I have worked in this is standard practice. In most well run offices they call the day before to make sure the up coming visit is covered. And we all know that you can be on the phone FOREVER trying to get a real person on the phone to have your question answered. This year the same thing. Went in, told me they had to call because I came in on the exact same day as last year, and it had to be 366 days since the last exam. If you knew this why did you not let me know when you called ME THE DAY BEFORE to confirm my appointment, other wise I would have rescheduled my appointment no big deal. Nope, lost leave time,(which I want back by the way) and the whole day out of whack. Where I work you try everything you can to help the patient especially if they are a loyal one, despite the short comings of certain staff, and the patient appreciates it. Not here seems like they dont care, if you dont like your job find another one. Many practices lose patients and get a bad name due to their reception staff and how receiving patients is carried out. This office needs to restructure its front desk personnel and teach them its more than just scheduling patients. Clearly they didnt teach them in school that the front desk is the first people patients see when they walk into an office and how a patient is greeted is how patients judge how the rest of the visit will go.Glad Im not the only one who has had trouble with the front desk. Ill keep going back solely because of Adrian Guerra her demeanor and how she genuinely cares for her patients. But as of now Ill wait til next year for my annual or if they ever call me if anyone cancels, but not holding my breath. They should have know from the past two visits that Im not one to be messed with, they may see me as b!@#% but I dont care, do what your suppose to do and theres no problem plane and simple.
I have been going to Adrienne for two years now. I have to say she is the best! Prior to Adrienne I had been going to another Gyno for the past 12 years. Over time I started having issues with substantial weight gain, etc. My old Gyno kept telling me nothing was wrong and it was only side effects to the birth control. Luckily when I was absolutely fed up, my mother found Adrienne. It was then that Adrienne found the answers to my questions I had been seeking for years. Luckily I found my issues in time to treat before everything progressed. What I love most about Adrienne is she actually LISTENS to your questions and concerns. She explains in detail everything that is going on and what the game plan is. to fix the problems. She takes her time on exams. Doctors dont do that now days. They just want to prescribe and go about their day. She and her husband have been great blessings to my whole family. My mother, sister, father and brother all treat at El Paso Wellness.
1st appt I loved the attention to detail from doctor. (The reason behind 2-3 hours wait in lobby/30 more in a room) 2nd visit I felt Dr. Guerra turned his back on assisting me. I was to livid to even argue and left. Everything I explained and improved on washed away as soon as he walked out and sent his asst. to re prescribe meds I already have been taking. So he obviously didnt HEAR ME...😪🙏
I love ms.guerra she is very understanding she listens to your problems and does everything that she can to try to help you. The most non judgemental and friendliest woman youll ever meet . ive been to several gynos across the U.S. and i can honestly say she has your best interest in mind. Yeah the wait times are a little long but what doctors office isnt.
As a patient of both Mr. & Mrs. GuerraI feel my Total Health & Wellness are in great hands! When, i need to follow-up or have any questions.... Lina is always very professional & very kind to me.😊
Dr. Guerra is awesome! He’s very compassionate about all situations, and driven to give you the best care to help. Pleased to say I feel like I am in good hands.
Worst front desk experience! If they have walk in times and you call to ask about the times, they remind you of the forms you filled out that talks about their policies rather then just be professional and tell you about the walk ins times. I got yelled at and talked over in the most disgusting way. I was seeing two Dr’s there which were amazing but because of that one front desk person, I’m done! Taking my business elsewhere!
Everyone at this office is wonderful. They are caring and helpful. Jay and Adrienne are tremendous blessings to my family. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the very best care.
You may have to wait a while sometimes, but it is so worth it. J. Guerra is the best medical care provider I have ever been to and I am looking forward to my first appointment with Dr. Adrianne.
We have been with them for many years and have always been treated extremely well. We cannot say enough great things about them! Too MANY
I received a call Tuesday about results but wasn’t able to answer and was told to call back, but every time I do there’s no answer. I’ve called over 30 times. I also left a message with the required information and the recording says you’ll get a call back by the end of the day but that’s not true. I just want my results :(
Francisco Guerra and his staff are the best. They really care about their patients.
Awesome doctor, very personable. Easy to talk to and get to the root of the situation. Very recommended.
Doctor is amazing but horrible front desk staff. I left a message crying and still no one got back to me.
First time at Dr. Francisco Guerra office ,thestaff was very nice and helpfull, waiting was a bit longer but worth it
Both are awesome wouldnt change them for anyone else!!!
Clean comfortable waiting room, great office etiquette, and kind professional attention to patients.
Very caring professionals! Take their time with each patient.
Have no organization at front desk long waits
Very respectfull and nice ppl
Excellent Service, Highly recommend great team !!!
I have been waiting for this appointment since January...when I made my appointment I let the receptionist know that I needed a primary doc...she replied that they would call me...that never happened...my appointment to see the Doc (by the way, its the 1st time) its tomorrow... in 4 months things can change... the person who answered the phone was very rude and of course he didnt understand my question... he just said that I HAD TO CALL to find out if there were appointments available with Doc...Summary of this.....I didnt even make it to the 1st appointment and there are already communication problems
