East County Urgent Care

Always a good experience. My last visit was scheduled in their app (Solv) and it made check-in super easy as my ID and insurance card were already on file. I was seen just a few minutes after my scheduled time. Keep in mind that just because you have a scheduled time doesnt mean you have an appointment. It just means you are ahead of any walk-ins at that time. I absolutely loved the PA who saw me, she was excellent. Great bedside manner, seemed to genuinely be concerned and was thorough.

The staff are very nice and friendly. I Went there for a work related injury at 8 am didn’t get seen until 11:30 wasn’t let out until 1 pm. It took my entire morning and afternoon. I truly don’t think the medical staff is trained enough for basic medical procedures or are probably still in training because of the conversations I heard while waiting in the room and the quality of experience. If I had a choice I would have never picked this place. It’s unfortunate that this is the only place my company uses as workers compensation. The staff was friendly and willing to help, only good thing about this place. The doctor took longer than usual to explain my injuries and was very repetitive.. probably why it took so long to get seen. Medical staff reviewing medical procedures in the back room and discussing how to do things while doctors are taking too much time to evaluate patients.. as my first visit I’m not happy with the quality of care and I hope I do not have to come back again..

Very annoying the girls in the back office were talking giggling laughing talking about the dollar store. I never get sick and I got sick now they left me in the room for over 45 minutes checking my Covid. I don’t mind waiting, but they were still loud and when I told him to keep it down, they mocked me and started singing the song in Spanish, it was a girl with red hair Jessica rabbit red hair otherwise the doctor was awesome

I have to start this off by mentioning, I am not from this area. Im actually from PA. We are visiting family. Right after landing in San Diego I noticed I wasnt feeling well. As the days went on, it got worse. I physically couldnt move until about 3pm. Urgent Care closed at 4. They didnt treat us any different with getting there right before closing. It was our quickest Urgent Care visit, ever. Everyone was super nice and not once made us feel rushed.

Avoid this place at all cost! Was sent there by my employer following a work injury. Walked in and was told the wait was 2 hours to be seen. Was told they dont make appointments but could give me a reservation. Arrived at the time of my reservation and still had to wait 3 hours to be seen. Total time at their office was 5 hours for a simple bite on my hand.

So attentive to detail and helped me with everything I walked in for. Definitely recommend to anyone in need of urgent care. From the receptionist to the nurses and doctors overall was the most welcoming, fast, helpful experience. So appreciative!

Everyone was super kind and very helpful. The doctor was very patient with me and knowledgeable and also understanding of my symptoms and worked with me on getting to a good solution. Certainly the most professional and safe feeling urgent care Ive been too.

It was my first time at this facility and my visit was amazing. The facility was clean. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I was in and out in a very timely manner. I would recommend this facility to friends and family

Went in because I had symptoms of a possible UTI or BV and I wasn’t sure which. Look the staff was nice to a point (they definitely don’t like that I keep calling and asking for my test results even though I’m uncomfortable and symptomatic). I knew I was going to have to wait to be seen which was fine and while the staff did take my urine sample they apparently lost it and so did not do any UTI testing insisting that vaginal symptoms and UTI were separate even though I was having symptoms of both. I know my body. I know when I’m having symptoms of both. I tried to advocate for myself. I saw my urine sample sitting on the sink counter as I walked out the door when I was leaving. Apparently that was very difficult to locate for some reason ??? Look I know my health insurance is bad. My doctor is in vista and I needed help right away. I was told I would have to wait a week for my vaginal swab to come in and after a few days of calling with my symptoms increasing I was told that it would take a week and that they never tested my urine. What happened to the sample I gave ? No idea. Probably trashed. I am pretty angry and am not willing to wait two hours AGAIN to retake a UA that should’ve been done on my first visit but was lost due to incompetence.

The check-in is awesome because its digital. You can go sit in car and wait until its your turn. I hate sitting in medical waiting rooms. So this was great. Plus my doctor was a wonderful woman, understanding, caring, we talked about our fav bands. Wish she could be my primary.I highly recommend this urgent care. I just suggest bring a coke to drink while you wait. My wait for walk in was about 45 minutes. Maybe a few more. Less than an hour. Pretty good for an urgent care.

Dr. Farsate was wonderful. She helped explain everything to me and wanted so much to get me on the right medication to help me lose weight. I have however not been able to get the generic ozempic yet from the pharmacy its been 24 hours. Maybe she can send it over for Jessica Short to community Pharmacy in Valley Center. I hope to keep her as a doctor. The staff were really nice as well telling me how to get a sooner appointment which was very much needed! Thank you Palomar medical team!

What a breeze! The staff was so cordial and friendly. I feel like theyre friends! Dr. Lee is an energizer bunny! I can tell he lives and loves what he does. I cant wait for my next injury! Thank you all so much!

1st time here was good. This time was not. Had first appointment of the day. Was called 20 minutes late - no one was being seen? Simple physical went good. After 15 minutes waiting in exam room after doctor left I went to hall and asked what I should do. Of course, wait in wait area. Appointment was 815. At 920 doctor apologizes because they can not find my paperwork/ forms. Why dont I email them over and they will sign those. Ok. At 940 I left the building with no paperwork / forms. I was called that I could pick up the new forms. Did we find the original paperwork? Is that a HPPA violation? Anyway. Not Happy!! Just went to the next place down the street. Did fine there.

My office experience with front desk was awful. The two girls working in the front desk were unprofessional and had attitudes. I called a hour before walking in spoke with a girl named Marlene, asking if they take my insurance for my 9 year old daughter and they said yes. I showed up and then they told me in person they don’t see kids. I wouldn’t have wasted my time and showed up if they would’ve told me that in the first place over the phone, they didn’t even apologize for the miscommunication and the lady kept rolling her eyes and her neck very dramatic. They should have cameras in the front and recordings for the phone calls so they could see how bad their workers are in the front office.

Love this urgent care. Nice staff & the Dr’s do great! Especially with children! The pretty female Dr. made my 8 year old feel so comfortable. They send meds right to the pharmacy! Highly recommend & thank the staff!

We walked in not long after they opened on a Sunday, so of course it was busy. There were a lot of people there, so I wasn’t surprised we waited about 1.5 hours. The nurse and doctor were great and helped my two year old stay really calm and happy the whole time.

I have never had the need to visit one of these facilities for injures nor testing of any kind. I wasnt feeling well, so I went online, and made an appointment for 2PM, Sunday 9-8-24, I arrived at 1:45, I was immediately checked in, and was asked to take a seat, and someone will be with you shortly. Before I was able to sit down, my name was called, and was in the Doctors office. I was asked several health questions by the intaking nurse Including why I came to see the Doctor.I wasnt feeling well , and wanted to be tested for coved 19, and the flu. Both tests were preformed by the intaking nurse.I was told by the nurse, the Doctor will be with you soon.In lest that ten minutes the Doctor was sitting in the office with me going over my test results in detail, and asking other medical history question.The admin, and medical services I received from the Doctor, and the staff at this facility was right on point, true professionals in the medical field! No one at the front desk when you walk in. You can hear them just chatting behind the sliding door behind their desk. And they expect you to sign in on an iPad thats not even on. May have been a one off occurance for that, but as out of towners stopping by for a literal urgent appointment not ideal. However, they did get my brother back quickly due to the bleeding from him cutting his finger quite deeply. And were attentive.

Marlene Kanouno, P.A. is an amazing individual. Had she been in a private primary care practice, I would have changed then & there to be under her care, without hesitation. She is competent, intelligent, personable, polite, patient, & caring. All others in the facility were nice & polite as well.

Great Staff and my Dr. was Awesome as always! Shes a Gem for sure! Dr. London Woodfolk was very helpful and insightful. Hope she has her own practice one day.

Sign in was super easy, and even though they were busy and the wait time was lengthy i didn’t wait longer than that wait time. I also really like that I have the option to not wait in the office when it’s that long of a wait. The care I got was awesome, they got right to the point and took care of what was needed and the doctor didn’t push anything extra, that’s a huge bonus in my book, I would give 10 stars if I could just for that alone.

The Doctors are top of the line. But their administration sucks, the screwed up on me getting my medicine from CVS, I’m a veteran and even the VA called them and they were rude to the VA. They didn’t do what they were supposed to do according to VA Guide lines, and I ended up paying for my medicine out of pocket, and I am 100% service connected disabled.Ok today my condition has worsened and I went back to this same urgent care and they improved 100%, got me squared away with more meds . Much improved over the last couple days.

It was a great first time visit here. Entire staff and Doctor were real personable and very kind. Doctor was very thorough with explaining things to me. Very smart and friendly man.

I asked for an appointment, no such thing. Waited nearly 2 hours, after I told them I can’t sit that long. waiting room 1 hour, room 1 hour. Nice people but not organized at all. Gave 2 stars because the dr who saw me was nice and I know it’s not her fault.

Great experience, very straight forward and clear with everything. Hade to visit two times back to back for drug test and ankle issue with x-rays, both going very well. 10 outa 10, would recommend!👌

Super quick and easy experience. the PA that helped me out remembered me from a phone call and knew exactly what i needed before i even asked for it. the girl and the front desk and who i’m assuming is a nurse or tech on the back were very sweet as well

Ive had to go here about a half a dozen times in the last 15 years, with things like a fractured finger, infection, or just getting an updated perscription.The Doctors, Nurse Practitioners are very good, and the support crew are personable and friendly.The out of the pocket consoltation fee is very reasonable.

In for DOT Physical nurses are all very nice and helpful. You guys need to fix your AC stuck in a 10x10 room sweating suffocating waiting for attending physician not cool pun intended.

This was my worse walkin clinic experience ever, in my 63 years. I came in for severe eye pain. The front office folks were terrìbly INCOMPETENT. In Healthcare the consequences for incompetence are horrifyingly dreadful. First, the doctor missed the root problem causing my twisting pain. Error. The doctor failed to find that I still had a foreign object in my eye which was found by another doctor two days later at a walkin clinic where patients matter and competence is reigning. Second, the front folks could not send my prescription (to prevent infection ) that I pleaded for them to plz send so I could save my eye.The second doctor at another clinic found the foreign object, removed it. And it was almost instant relief. For six days I suffered in such pain I couldnt sleep consuming my mind. Eye pain is no joke. Without this second doc that object in my eye was surely destroying my eye. And was Leading to a loss of vision.For anyone reading this, east county walk in clinic is a disaster. They Never called in that prescription. Ever. If you enjoy your health dont risk it with these people. They dangerous to health. I believe they INTENTIONALLY WOULD NOT SEND MY PRESCRIPTION BECAUSE THEY R VINDICATIVE. THEY DO NOT CARE!!! They showed me.They should not be in business and I wonder who else they treated like me. It wouldnt surprise me if they are facing lawsuits with this no care attitude along with gross negligence. Incompetence sums it up. Peoples lives are risk who go there and trust them.They can not be TRUSTED!!!

Amazing, everyone was so attentive and caring. Arrived not able to walk and next day I’m walking pain free. The doctor and PA were very knowledgeable. I would definitely go back!!Thank you.

Front reception person on duty Sunday, February 25, 2024 handled me very unprofessional when I arrived at my reservation time of 12 noon she was unable to find me in the system as having an appointment so she said she was going to have to handle me like a walk-in 2 to 3 hour wait time after I formed her that I had an appointment previously set for Saturday at 12 noon the receptionist and that day indicated that there was no x-ray technician on duty and she rescheduled me for the following day Sunday the 25th at noon even after I showed her the text from the urgent care Center rescheduling me she said I still don’t show in the computer, so she still gonna have to handle me as a walk-in even though I showed her proof of my confirmed reservation and when asked to speak with a manager so we could clear it up easily. She blew me off on the good side. I found the doctor and the behind-the-scenes staff, very professional, and all treated me with respect I did give this experience only two stars as I feel it is very important to have the first interaction with the customer to be a positive one so clearly maybe this is just a wrong person for the job .

I had an appt @ 330pm. I was taken back at 3:50 or right before. I was left back in the room waiting falling asleep as were my legs since I was told to get o. The table. I was not seen by a dr.after 430pm. I time left was a few .ins before registered time. It only 441pm right now

Personally, they didnt help me at all... I was in so much pain for 3 weeks, they never prescribed me anything other than Tylenol!!!! Seriously?! Some conditions require more than over the counter medication! Then the doctor left me waiting without telling me anything! If it wasnt for me (getting out of the room) I will still waiting for her!!!!! They dont take you seriously, specially if its a workers comp situation... do yourself a favor, DONT GO THERE!The ONLY good thing is a nurse that is very compassionate and attentive! Besides that, nothing else...

Diagnosis: upper respiratory infection. I shared with the Dr. that I have an uncontrollable persistent cough. My throat is on fire. I cant sleep and it hurts to swallow. He said just keep doing what you are doing, which is Tylenol and drug store cough syrup. But its not working otherwise I would have stayed home. He prescribed me nothing!! I begged for something for the pain in my throat and cough. Still nothing! 2 days later, Im still just as bad but now, no voice! Imso disappointed. I received no relief by coming here.

I had 2 issues. A possible UTI & a sore throat. The girl at the front desk said you can only be seen for one thing which one do you want to be seen for? I thought that was awful. Why do I have to come back? very disappointed! So I asked the doctor about that policy and she said yeah that’s the policy. You can only be seen for one thing in 24 hours.

Waited for 2 hrs so she can perscribe me drops that were going to be 200 and over the counter tylenol. This will be the third night that Im not sleeping well.

I just want to first off start by saying thank you to everybody that works there from the office ladies to the the nurses thats set with my granddaughter and gave her stickers from the bottom of my heart thank you so very much, to the doctor it was one of the most wonderful visit to the doctors Ive ever had ,nobody was rude treated me different because Im on medical, Ive had some pretty bad experience again thank you all so very much

My son needed a sports physical. This urgent care accepts walk ins, everyone that works here was very nice, and they were fast!

Liz is my favorite! Ive been coming here for years and she always gives me the best prices on my loans and when I shop. They have best selection on jewelery and high end handbags. I buy all my jewelry and handbags from them! Thank you Liz!

Words can’t explain how helpful everyone at Urgent Care was to me! It seemed like they knew exactly what I needed! I am so thankful for the entire staff!!

Everyone was very kinda and professional, they let me know right away that it would be a little wait due to staff shortages - I felt very comfortable speaking with both the medical assistant as well as the doctor there , 10/10 experience !

The facility itself is pretty bare bones but the staff were exceptional. We were in and out in an hour at 5pm. Definitely recommend.

They are always really good at keeping wait times down and helping out when I need to be seen but dont have time to wait for an appointment with the VA.

Clerical staff is rude and immature. Exam rooms are very dirty. Waited over an hour past my appointment which I arrived 15 minutes early for. I will forever go somewhere else.

London Woodfolk, PA-C, was amazing. I had not slept for six days due to watching my sister die from stage four brain and lung cancer. It truly was the worst experience in my life. London listen to me with true compassion and real caring. You do not find that so easily anymore in this world. Yet she sat there for a lengthy time and listened to my sorrows. She prescribed me some medicine to help me sleep and I feel somewhat more centered after having the time to express my grief to her. Way to go! The world would be a much better place if there were more Londons in it. Thank you for your real care and dare I say it, real love for others.

All the staff was amazing. Visit went smoothly and quickly. Marlena took care of my issue and I was in and out!

Apparently, they have an “appointment” time scheduled and when you get there, they say you “appointment time” is actually to add you to a list. Meanwhile, they are taking walk ins at a faster rate than the appointment times people took the time to book online. Then the balding girl at the front says if it’s that much pain , you can go to the ER. That’s the “best” they can do. She said, we are just waiting for a room. Meanwhile, walk-ins are going in and out at a rapid pace. First and last time here.

Went in for a wrist injury, recurved X-rays and consultation at a fraction of the cost and time of an emergency room visit. Thank you to the staff for being friendly and informative. Thank you Dr.Wong for helping with recovery tips too.

Wait time was longer than quoted. Xrays were not available at visit. Would love to be able to have xray available digitally for GP to have access.

What a pleasure it was to go here...I had cut my finger open at school and needed urgent care and this place was amazing. The staff just the most amazing, helpful, and genuinely cared about my needs. I give this place more than 5 stars just the only stars they had...thanks for the best care away from my primary care physician....The receptionist was amazing just so pleasant and made me feel like i was at the right place and i love the app cause you can see where you are in line and keep up for when to come in if you dont want to wait inside. I hope I dont have to go for anymore accidents but if I do I know where Im welcome at!!!

This is the first time Ive gone to any Urgent Care. We went because our normal doctors office didnt have any appointments and the only location open for walk-ins was in Escondido (we live in El Cajon).So I found you online, signed up online for a walk-in appointment, and was able to upload all of my daughters insurance information and fill out any other required forms.We walked into the lobby 15 minutes prior to the time we signed up for and because it was my first time, I checked in at the country but I was told that nothing else was needed.We waited in the lobby for 15-20 minutes, was seen by a doctor almost right away after being taken into the back, waited for our prescription to be called into our pharmacy, and was out of there within an hour and 15 minutes.This experience was so convenient and quick. I always dread urgent medical issues because it always takes up at least half of the day to get in and seen without an appointment. I have 6 kids, my oldest being 24, and Ive NEVER had such an easy experience as a walk in, like I had today.The staff was GREAT as well. This will definitely be the place I come for minor medical emergencies from now on!!!💜💜💜

Its a pretty dated clinic. However the front office staff and the doctor I saw, Woodfolk, were all pleasant, attentive and professional. Just waited a little longer than I cared to when there were only 2 people ahead of me, I was told, but waited a bit over an hour. Not that big of deal. I will come back, if I have to, though like most, hope I dont. I would highly recommend!! 👍🙂

The PA I saw was gentle and easy to talk to. She was thorough and helped me navigate getting a follow-up with my regular doctor who originally said they had no openings. The diagnosis was no fun but, now I know. The office is clean and they efficiently process patients

Had a bad spider bite but they got me in and out fast with a shot and antibiotics and now it’s healed greatly and I can walk normal im very happy

I was not happy with my urgent care visit. I came because I injured myself and needed painkiller there was no doctor on site only a PA that could not write me the prescription I needed and I was left without. I am not happy with the results of my visit. Why are PAs seeing patience without a supervising physician?

The wait was over 1 1/2 hours then it was like a fast assembly line. Didnt solve my problem

Took my brother in due to serious cough that turned into pnuemonia. They didnt xray his chest not sure why, but the Dr prescribed a 7 day Z Pak that wasnt good enough for his condition, which was recognized by his VA PC after she requested an xray. The service was ok and fast since it was late and they were getting ready to close. They couldve been a bit more efficient and did an xray to prescribe the correct medicine.

Staff is friendly and courteous , i was very surprised with their patient level of care. i came here twice so far and the experience was very positive

Came for my 12:15 appointment, waited 2 hours before being seen by anyone. The process was grueling and incredibly slow.

I love this place, everyone is so nice and efficient. Wait times can be long but thats expected for a walk-in clinic. They try to get everyone taken care of and on their way in a timely manner. Its clean, up-to-date, and easy to find parking. Its the only clinic I go to!

Fear of needles is common, the nurse was not patient with me at all and was visibly aggravated that I was nervous and coerced me out of frustration to just opt out of bloodwork

The office staff great the doctor Lee I got was the best seem like he really cared I really appreciate him

I like to go to this urgent care even though there are closer facilities because they are always very professional and caring.

The wait was a little to long but, I’m sure a lot of it could have been me, how much pain I was in, otherwise overall everyone was very nice.Kameron was absolutely wonderful, very nice, respectful, sympathetic and his overall, what you call “bedside manner”, was wonderful. He seemed very happy, like he enjoyed his job.

After a two hour wait I was taken care of in a very efficient and polite manner. Very satisfied with my visit.

The Doctor I saw on Sunday and again today (Wednesday) was so helpful. I’ve been real sick and she cared, asked a ton of questions, and gave me the help and meds to make me better!

Gals at the desk were very courteous and kept a good attitude. Very friendly and upbeat! Doctor was very reassuring and informative. She explained her diagnosis and told me what the treatment plans were for my situation. I felt listened to and really appreciated the care I received.

Dr. Saben and nurses are very professional. I have had to go here a few times when my insurance drops me for a few months. They are thorough and compationate. I feel taken care of. The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is because it is expensive if youre a cash paying patient. Otherwise the walk-in services are very good.

Good service, just a small place that gets crowded quick, leading to very long wait times.

I waited two hours to be seen, all they gave me was a swab of the mouth, then made me sit there for another hour just to tell me there is nothing they could do for me then sent me home with a cough medicine prescription. Wont be coming back to this location.

Greetings! I’m 100 percent VA disabled, I have Kaiser. For 2 weeks I’ve tried to get some relief from plantar fasciitis. The best I got was an appt 2 weeks from now. I came to the Urgent Care and got the care I needed in less than an hour. Thanks to the staff, the Xray tech and the doctor.

Efficient and friendly front desk staff, the reservation system works well, and the medical staff are attentive.

Hello Everyone,I have a PCP, but she has her PA to see her pnts, or her front desk, and I was sent away with Albuterol (inhaler) and Urgent Care to check my lungs. Thank God for East County Urgent Care! Because they do care. They are courteous, caring, and knowledgeable. It turns out I have pneumonia, I am an RA patient, and I was scared. I left feeling really reassured of humanity, and their services. I am a Medical Interpreter, and for the last 20 yrs. Ive seen a lot in the field. Thank you, keep up the good work.

It was for my Mom visit, she has heart Murmur and dizziness. Dr Huhn was very caring and compassionate doctor. He also recommended what to do to follow up. He was able to help my mom to refill her prescription for her blood pressure issue.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful, polite, professional. I got seen within an hour. The whole staff were Awesome. The Dr l saw Ms Joan was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She was Amazing. . For now on this is my Urgent Care office.

After taking a spill bombing a hill on my longboard, I noticed some swelling. Swelling was more than the usual so I stopped in here to make sure there were no breaks. Thankfully the Dr reported no breaks visible. The Dr took the time to hear my concerns and address them accordingly. Karen was also a gem who went out of her way to see that I was taken care of. Made me feel good even though my hand was hurting, thanks Karen.

Went in for a drug screening for a potential employer. I was told the wait time would be 45 minutes by the front desk. 2 hours later I still didnt make it back. The tracker attached to the paperwork app kept adding people in front of me and people are not seen in order of arrival. Im guessing because they allow reservations . Would have made one if they could have warned me about the time increasing.Big bummer guys, happened to everyone else here for something so easy too. Not cool at all.

Everyone at the clinic were awesome. They were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Lee actually listened to a little of my related history, and previous experience with a similar issue. I suggested a specific medication, and after explaining my reasoning, he agreed to provide this particular medication as an initial attempt at resolving it. My Primary Care Administrator would have referred me to a specialist, and provided nothing in the way of medication to relieve my discomfort in the mean time. If it were possible, I would choose Dr. Lee and the great people at the clinic for my PCP. But alas, I understand thats not their purview. Had me in and out within and hour and a half. I recommend making an appointment online. That is your best bet to get in and out. Staff was super friendly and very good beside manner. Took care of my medical issue 100% thank you guys.

I had a earwig in my right ear and went to my regular Dr and they couldnt get it out so they told me to come to Ergent Care. Everyone was really friendly and helpful they put peroxide in my ear and let it sit for awhile then they washed out my ear and it came out. Very kind and efficient! Some issues with the website. Told there was no wait, but couldn’t book an appointment online, then showed up and there was a 1.5 hour wait. For UTI patients, need to give them a cup to collect sample right away, so they can urinate as much and as often as they then have to after that. Otherwise, medical staff and nurse had great bedside manner and knowledge. Thanks for being there!

I have been sick for several days and finally had enough energy to go to a doctor. I walked-in w/out an apt. My wait time was reasonably short. The kindness & compassion I recieved from all of the staff was top quality. Results were quick. The doctor & her team listened carefully & didnt skip a beat. They were genuine. Best doctor office visit Ive had in a long time!

Had to wait for a while, but I did not make an appointment but waited with a friend They texted me and called me when it was my turn so the wait went by quickly. Right now I’m good and healthy and will recommend to everyone

Highly recommend East County Urgent Care. The staff are very professional and very knowledgeable and they care very much much about their patients. They also take the time to Adderall of your concerns and they take the time to answer all of your questions, thank you to each and every one of the staff who worked to help me with my recovery.

Dr. Lee is wonderful! Hes caring and knowledgeable and does due diligence instead of just prescribing more pills. Front desk staff was also friendly and very helpful! I was worried about how it would go because we live out of state but everything went great!

I left work to go to the nearest urgent care for a sore throat and cough. The front desk lady was kind and check in was quick. I appreciated the option to wait in my car and see online where I was in the cue. When it was my turn, I was greeted by a sweet medical professional who took my vitals and was very thorough in taking my history. She was even sweet and nice after I accidentally coughed right on her during a strep test!! Even if she was lying, she didnt make me feel bad about it! The PA I saw was sweet and receptive and gave me everything I needed to heal up at home. Even when I called back because I forgot my doctors note, they called me back immediately and emailed it right over! I definitely recommend East County Urgent Care for sure!

Ive been here 2x. Once for a drug screen and 2nd time for health care needs. Each time I had an appointment or reservation. Each time Ive had to wait over an hour from the scheduled time I had. Depending in who is at the front deal will depend on how you are treated. Wont come back

Rx sent to closed pharmacy. No one checked beforehand. Called urgent care facility, yet could not even leave a message! Not cool. Had to wait several days to get Rx filled, despite finding a pharmacy that was still open on the day in question. Most disappointing!

I wasn’t happy with their service. It always takes a while and they’re really slow. Whenever I do my medical exam, they always do the same thing. I really wish that one day, they will fix this problem and get better

My East County Urgent Care experience was totally awesome. So simple to register there. My treatment was second to none. And overall, this facility medically was by far SEOND TO NONE! PS- PA London was incredible!

Avoid this place at all costs. Reception is rude. This so-called urgent care has no concept of triage and will have you waiting for more than 2 hours. Do not come here.

Was suffering from strep throat. Worst few days of my life. Would like to give a shout out to PA-C Woodfolk for her caring and understanding to my feelings. She was totally compassionate towards me and thats what people need when they are not feeling well. She prescribed me some antibiotics and within 8hrs I noticed some improvement. Will be my go to Urgent Care moving forward.

I have visited this Urgent Care location multiple times for different health issues. Despite their usual long wait (between 1-2 hours), time seems to go fairly quickly because they are very organized. In my opinion, the staff is super helpful. Nurse Corey & nurse Josh were both exceptionally friendly with great beside manners. Very down to earth, positive & upbeat. It was very obvious they are passionate about what they do and demonstrate compassion to their patients because they sincerely care. There was also a Physicians Assistant named Gala that was my saving grace the multiple times I was there. She didnt hold my hand (LOL) but was able to make conversation & provide reassurance when the pain got tough to handle during the procedures I had done. So thankful for her! She also gave me thorough instructions on aftercare which was also helpful. I rate is 4/5 because I wish there was less of a wait time but I am not sure that is within their control. I would chose this Urgent Care over others because their staff is the best. Normally, I dont leave reviews but I felt this team of people deserved some recognition for a great experience!

Poor urgent care. They don’t take their patients in order they arrived I went to this urgent care to do an employer required drug test, I was fourth in line but then they took in 5 other walk-ins before even getting looked at. I just need to provide urine sample and it’s taking more than an hour. Avoid this urgent care if you are only doing drug testing as you will hold your bladder a long time.

The process was fast and easy in and out in no time friendly and helpful

First time using this facility. The app was easy to use and made paperwork and check in easy. The provider called and screened over the phone before we entered. The facility was clean. Everyone we encountered was professional. Our prescription was already ready by the time we drove the few blocks to the pharmacy. Very positive experience. We will be back of the need arises.

The doctor answered all of my questions, of which I had many oh, and he was extremely conscientious and knowledgeable. He also had a good sense of humor, and laughed at my jokes! 🤓--------------------Here it is 4 years later, and this urgent Care is still great! Very short wait time, kind staff, and my great physicians assistant, London! She was so knowledgeable and reassuring. Im learning how to take even better care of myself.

Ive always had great care with East County Urgent Care. I have the option of online booking which also helps my chances of not waiting unlike many other urgent care offices.

The whole staff from phone call to exit was incredibly helpful and pleasant. I always dread calling places like this to ask questions about insurance especially, because they aren’t typically received well. The person on the phone (I forgot her name) made me feel like I had her complete attention and she understood what I needed. She also called back right when she said she would. Everyone made my son feel at ease and not scared of his visit. Thank you very much!!

Wait times were very long an hour and a half or more. It was a Friday so I expected to wait quite a while. When I got in the room I had to wait even longer. I was there for x-rays and the PA wasnt sure about the results so she sent them on to somebody else to read them and the results wouldnt be in for a couple hours she said she would call me back with the results. She did call me back within a couple hours with the results. Thats why I give them a four-star rating.

Very professional and clean environment. Both walk in visits were timely and seen within an hour. Definitely a much more viable urgent care option than Kaiser/Sharp.

I didn’t have an appointment. Tried but they were all taken. I think they were very fast considering how many people were there. The doctor was very nice and took her time with me. Very happy with my service today.

Everyone was supernice. Of course the wait of two hours seemed like longer due to the pain. ( I dont go until I simply cant stand it). Not much they could do other than give drugs it the staff was competent and com passionate. If I had a suggestion it would be a TV that showed something to distract rather than just ads about the facility on a continuous loop. Or maybe, failing that, a selection of magazines. We know it will be a long wait. Whatever can be done to pass time pleasantly is worth persuing

The young ladies at the desk were pleasant and caring and helpful. My PA was also! She was attentive and thorough. She was also open to address my particular needs and to be flexible. I am thankful for the care I received and that I saw others receiving.

Everyone was very professional and courteous. The PA who saw me took time to explain how various factors could affect my recovery. I waited about 30 minutes to be seen but they allow you to wait outside and text you to come in which I liked. This is not my first visit Ive been there with friends as well and things went smoothly.

I went to East County Urgent Care yesterday for my first time and was pleasantly surprised. All the staff were compassionate and knowledgeable. I got in and out very fast. I love that you can get your prescription there. It helps not having to drive to the pharmacy and wait when you aren’t feeling good.3/10/2021 It’s been a couple years but I went again today and feel the same way as above. I hurt my foot and everyone went out of their way to help me. I’m so glad they are so close to home. I definitely trust them.

Except for a very long wait, it was a great experience! There were only 2 others ahead of me, but I waited over 1 1/2 hrs to be seen, even with a reservation. The doctor was very helpful, the other staff friendly and helpful as well, and they were all good listeners. I recommend getting a reservation online before you come or for the next day.

We had to bring our son in for stitches on Sunday afternoon. The lady who greeted us at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The wait was ki d of long but definitely not as long as ER would of been. The PA that actually stitched our son was very nice and explained everything as she was doing it so my son was surprised by anything. She even let him have a break when he needed one. All in all they made a traumatic visit as comfortable as possible and we definitely would recommend East County Urgent Care.

I love the fact you can see a doctor on the weekends. I received great service and care. When you dont feel well, its nice to know they have a caring staff and will treat you professionally. This is my go to when my doctor is not available.

Employees are very nice patient and professional although it can be bit of a wait depending on what services you are looking for. I recommend reserve your time on their website it is not an appt but it may help with the wait time. Very good ‘bedside” manors. Erica was excellent drawing blood for tests and I didn’t even feel the shot in my buttocks.Amy Foster was the best. Listened to me regarding my symptoms and diagnosis. She had a good plan for my treatment and did an exceptional job following up to make sure I was getting the right results from her treatment.I was also the last patient of the day and didn’t feel as though they rushed at all. Overall, I am very pleased with this Urgent Care office and highly recommend them. Thanks.

Take me to Very dirty room they keeps me for a long timeThen After long time he bring a swap test for Covid and flu and he put in my nose he take back to another room one by one without cover it or put in to clean bottle he take my test to other room without cover!!! How they know it doesn’t any virus any bacteria in the air to go to my strap test ! Why we wear a mask if no viruses in the air specially in urgent clinic?!Then After long Time one Nerse come here is it your provider said your result negative you don’t have anything you can go home !!! your test negative!! Now you can go !!! I was shocked why I said why the provider not seeing me ?! Even they didn’t looked my throat!! I told them I have throat problems It’s very bad !!How the provider knows I don’t have anything!!Without looking at what’s a pain I went for !!If I don’t have any pain if I am not sick why I go to urgent care !!Then After more than 5min in the middle of my way to go home one guy called me please come back to clinic we forgot to discharge you!! I just shocked that’s a quality of job here !!!I never recommend anyone to waist time there with non professional staf no good doctors no respect!!! EVEN You don’t know who’s the provider!! Is provider was there already? Or the reception lady prescribe medication for patient!!!!!

This place is trash they’ve been trying to send me a bill for months when I never got any work done just to have two ladies tell me to ice my ankle and take ibuprofen. Definitely stay away from this place they don’t even accept many types of health insurance. Never going back.

I checked in at 9:22 AM. I was told I had the option to wait in my car and would be texted when they were ready for me. I called at 10:30 AM to check my place in line as I had been waiting for a little over an hour in my car. Receptionist on the phone told me they had tried to contact me but I literally have no record of a phone call or text.When I finally went inside the Xray Tech was very kind and quick. Unfortunately, due to the lack of attentiveness and care from either receptionist what could have been a 10 minute visit turned into a waiting game of over an hour. Mind you, the receptionist on the left (facing the desk) was kind from the start but the one sitting on the right made me feel like it was my fault that I was waiting that long. Please be better.

East County Urgent Care has the best staff! Very helpful, very sweet. They were informative of what steps and procedures to take. Dr.Munoz is a sweetheart and actually listens to the patient without cutting them off. I also came here to do a drug test for my job and they were helpful and patient with me during that process as well. Don’t hesitate to visit!

This was the longest time that I had to hold my urine at a facility to submit for a drug test. The wait was over an hour for 8 people ahead of me and I came here a little over 8am. Just tell your clients to urinate after checking in instead of holding their urine since the wait will be long enough that they can still pee by the time that their name is called. Save yourself the discomfort. The process is not efficient at this place. There are better, more efficient facilities for a drug screen than this one. This event placed me at an unnecessary risk of developing kidney stones as a result of this bad experience that I have not experienced anywhere else in my lifetime. I have notified my employer of this experience as I would not want anyone to share the same experience and for my employer it is their first time (and hopefully the last time) to send someone at this facility for a drug screen.

I called to make an appointment. When I got there I filled out my paperwork online and was texted that I could go in for my visit. The staff was very friendly. Everyone was kind, pleasant and helpful. They did the normal procedures, then the nurse came in to talk about my issue. She recommended having x-rays, which they have at the clinic. After the x-rays the nurse talked about my issue. She gave me prescriptions and suggested that I should see my usual Dr. to determine what I should do for my issue.If I need to go to a clinic again I would definitely go back to this one...Thank all of the staff for your services

Very professional clean Clinic! I felt safe during these unprecedented Covid times! I made an appointment and was expedited fast and efficiently. Once I checked in 15 minutes before my schedule appointment I waited in my car for 10 minutes and was text on my phone to come into the clinic in which I was taken immediately to a room and seen by a physician and was out within 15 minutes

Quick service, my rx was ready before i left the office, doctor was kind and efficient, rx tech was very personable. it isnt always quick so i recommend getting in line online first.

No one here even remotely acted in that manner.Ive come here before it had a good result (though now 8 miles from my residence as apposed to the two miles it was at my last home)so I decided to try again when my insurance was refused in other places. No idea what thats about, but anyway Im kind of glad.Thank you for your help. Even though its not curing the problem it does help. I appreciate it and I will be back should I need urgent care again?

I love this urgent care. They not only care about the patient but also the patients time. They don’t make you for long periods like other urgent care’s. All the individuals in the office are very nice and professional. If you need an urgent care to go to and you live in El Cajon, I recommend this one.

All of the staff was courteous and caring. I like the TV that posts how long each patient may be expected to wait before being seen. The nurse was very thorough in irrigating my ear. The PA was approachable and apologetic about the wait. It was a good experience as such things go.

Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail I developed serious blisters on both feet, one became infected. The online platform for making my appointment worked well and was simple to use. When I arrived staff was pleasant and got me in to see the doctor early. Medical staff were both efficient and professional. I highly recommend East County Urgent Care for your immediate needs.

Made a reservation for a simple COVID-19 test for 11:00. Got there 1/2 hr early checked in waited till 12;00 and watched 4 people who got there after me go first. 2 hrs later finally they serve me!They told me their priorities go to people who pay for their tests first and other urgent care patients who walk in. Meanwhile the nurses who give the test sit or stand around waiting while the test only takes 5 minutes at the most! Why bother making a scheduled appointment if they don’t honor it! I will never go there again…!!

This is the best Urgent Care that I have ever been to. All of the staff are incredible. They dont leave you in a room forever and are very helpful to make certain that you are comfortable. I was actually in and out in less than a half hour. That in-itself is incredible.

My mother has never been to urgent care. Her new primary care doctor who we have not met was out of the office.I called her insurance first to make sure that I took her to an urgent care that took her insurance. We were informed that only 4 locations would see her. I looked at reviews for all of the 4 locations. I did not care how far we had to drive. East County Urgent Care had the best.Thank you!Front office & nurse that helped my Mother & I. Dr. Saleh was patient kind and attentive. My mother has white coat syndrome. The universe came together and my mother got a great experience, no wait time. From experience with her going to the doctors any office visit takes a lot out of her more than the actual diagnosis. There was some of my mother left when we left this office. This matters to me.

This place is a joke it’s unfortunate that they make you leave one start they don’t even deserve that. Kyla at the front counter has absolutely no customer service. I had an appointment time at 8am and I was the first one checked in. They didn’t inform that they didn’t have anyone that was certified to collect my sample for a drug screen, finally around 830 they informed me that they should have someone coming in with in the next 15 min finally right before 9am they see me won’t be coming back to this place for any further medical needs.

This is my second visit and six years later I’m still as impressed as I was the first time. Lobby was pretty full but I was still seen in 23 minutes which for anywhere these days is fast! Cory Vallance and her assistant were great. Very personable and professional. Highly recommend.

Aside from the 2 hour wait that I had even with a scheduled appointment (due to them being down a few Drs) they are always efficient and friendly. This type of wait has never happened before so they get 5 stars for consistent service over the years. Even after the wait, they were very friendly. I said nothing about the wait, because things happen sometimes and they strive to do their best.

I tried to go here this morning after giving myself a small concussion yesterday and feeling a headache and overall weirdness. I drove myself because it’s so close and I didn’t have another option.The girls at the front were very nice. This low review isn’t for that. My low review is because after I told them I have a head injury and giving them my insurance card, they told me they didn’t take my insurance and sent me somewhere else.I have a head injury. You’re an urgent care. Shouldn’t your concern be more for my health and safety, than if you’re gonna get paid? Nope.So I had to drive to Santee by myself, with a concussion, just for the doctor there to be very concerned about me and VERY disappointed that this staff turned a head injury away due to insurance.Go somewhere else

ECUC has been friendly and helpful every time I have gone there. 3 times in the last 2 wks. The wait is a little longer than preferred but it could be the heat that makes it feel longer. Was not happy to see a handwarmer on the floor of the lobby...but that is how things go sometimes.

Efficient! I made an appointment yesterday for a rapid test. The personnel followed up with me via phone to ensure all of my information was put in before I arrived. They conducted my test even before my appointment time and I received the results within the half hour. Thank you, East County Urgent Care! Now I get to go home for Christmas!!

Not a long wait and I was treated courteously by the receptionist.When I was taken to the exam room and asked a few questions, it was only a few minutes before the doctor came in.He checked the rash, asked questions, and gave his opinion and suggestion for treatment.By the time I got to the Wal-Mart pharmacy, my prescription was waiting for my insurance info.The entire process was painless and rewarding. It was only the second time I had been to Urgent Care. I will be willing to go there again if the need arises.

Front desk is very aggressive and rude. Providers are great.

My ratings are strictly for the service I used. I just found out on Thursday evening last week that soccer tryouts were starting today (Monday) and my daughter would need her sports physical completed by this evening. Over the weekend I was able to book an appointment/reservation for today at 1:20pm. We were out of there by 1:45pm. We got her forms filled out in time and only paid $30! I would highly recommend for this type of visit if you find yourself in a similar situation.

Place sucks. Waited an hour for a drug test for company. They text you to come back after an hour and make you wait another 45 min after they tell you that they are ready for you! Not sure how they think that makes any sense but my experience sucked. Would avoid going here at all cost if you can. Staff was not helpful at all. AVOID AT ALL COST!

All the staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable. My physician Enas Shammo is very considerate of patient and kind enough to get 5 stars as well. Even if waiting time is about 40-45 mins, it is worth it to walk in.

I have been to this urgent care three times with my mother and once for myself. The staff is friendly, and the medical professionals are fantastic. Id specifically call out the nurse, Sonja, from todays visit. She was a great help in calming the patient, assessing the situation and having everything prepared for the doctor.I highly recommend this urgent care.

Dr. Sola and Sonia were so kind and helpful, they were very attentive and took special care of my 10 stitches on my face, making sure I would still look my best for an upcoming wedding. I got right in and got lots of aftercare information and the whole process was as smooth as I could have hoped. I’m so grateful for their help and their work, they were awesome!

I went there today for my mom, and I reserved a spot before I showed up, and when I got there, the girl at the front desk was so rude, she could not even give an estimate wait time, we told her that we reserved a spot. I understand that this is a walk in clinic, but giving an estimate waiting time is YOUR job to do. You could have at least checked with the doctors to see when a room will be available. I worked in a clinic and thats what we always did, but apparently, she has ZERO experience and work ethics, and she did not even apologize. I did not get a name, but I believe that she had a tattoo on her hand and was wearing a dark colored scrubs.

I am very surprised. The young ladies in the front are very nice and professional. Also, they work with The VA department.
