First Steps has been absolutely amazing! Eliza and Jessica are both incredibly responsive, even answering our questions over the weekend. They were very easy to work with and allowed my partner and me to approach our fertility journey as a team. Their communication with both of us was seamless and didnt rely on any complicated portals or unnecessary systems.Scheduling appointments was a breeze, and they consistently went above and beyond our expectations. After feeling unheard and frustrated with SRM (another fertility clinic), the difference at First Steps was truly remarkable. While we appreciated the testing and services they provided, working with this clinic has been an extremely frustrating experience. We received multiple time-sensitive medications without the necessary instructions on how to take them. Each time, we had to send several emails just to get the information we needed, and even then, they often failed to provide full instructions in their responses. This led to over a dozen back-and-forth emails, leaving us waiting and delaying our time-sensitive treatment.It was also incredibly difficult to get complete follow-up notes from our consultations, which added to our frustration. Medical providers are legally obligated to provide clear and timely instructions, and it was disheartening to see this clinic consistently fall short. On top of everything, they showed no remorse or acknowledgment of the issue, as if they didn’t see any problem with their poor communication.Overall, while their testing services may be good, the lack of clear communication and disregard for time-sensitive treatment makes it difficult to trust this clinic with such important care.

I absolutely adore Eliza! She did my remote monitoring for IVF and was so helpful and calming throughout the process. She answered all my questions, and I appreciate that shes honest and comforting.

I had the best experience at this clinic. Me and my partner went through a year of infertility and being disappointed left and right. From the first phone call with Eliza i knew she would be a great fit. Shes understanding, caring and really takes the time to answer questions we had along the way. We were Eliza’s patient for over a year for both IUIs and IVF monitoring. She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She was our cheerleader through both rough times and success. Her affordable pricing and straightforward billing allowed us to access fertility care. She has flexible scheduling and was always able to work around our work schedules or last minute urgent needs. I can’t say enough good things about Eliza and her assistant Jessica. Both are unfailingly kind, helpful, and attentive. I felt like Eliza truly listened to me and took my concerns, preferences, and ideas into account. I’m someone who likes to research absolutely everything, so I’d often come into my IUI appointments with questions or ideas about timing, supplements, medication dosages, tests to run, etc. Eliza was so receptive to my input while also providing her own medical guidance/advice when she felt something wasn’t necessary or wouldn’t improve my chances. She helped me plan my cycles based on what I felt was best for my body and my situation. And she and Jessica were always so helpful and responsive if I emailed or texted with questions between sessions! But what I truly appreciated most was how caring the team was after I experienced a pregnancy loss necessitating emergency surgery around 7 weeks. It was an extremely upsetting experience, and resuming IUI cycles after the loss made me feel out of my mind with anxiety and the certainty that something would go wrong again. Eliza was so supportive and so understanding every step of the way. Knowing how nervous I was, she offered me the opportunity to do extra bloodwork and come in for additional ultrasounds so we could be extra sure that the pregnancy was progressing normally. She also assured me that even when I transition to prenatal care, I am welcome to reach out with questions or come back for additional scans just to put my mind at ease. I can’t tell you how much it helped my anxiety to be able to see my baby’sheartbeat every week for the first critical month or so of the pregnancy. I’ll be 10 weeks in a few days and so far everything is going well! I would recommend Eliza to anyone and will absolutely be coming back to First Steps if I end up trying again. If you want a compassionate, attentive, patient-centered practice for fertility treatments, testing, or monitoring, look no further!

Eliza has always been friendly and efficient, and dealt gracefully with mistakes made by my out-of-state clinic. She was happy to give advice when I asked for it and was supportive when I dealt with pregnancy loss. Im happy I found her clinic and Id definitely recommend her to anyone looking for fertility testing/monitoring.

Eliza and First Steps Fertility have provided fantastic support. We recently moved to the Seattle area and were navigating the complexities of an IVF transfer with embryos that were retrieved in another state. First Steps Fertility was the only provider in the area willing to help us with the needed testing and monitoring before and after the procedure. Theres not enough words to describe how I feel about Eliza and Jessica and First Steps Fertility. I was recommended the clinic when I decided to do IVF in Arizona and needed all my remote monitoring done locally. What I didnt know was that Eliza would be so much more than just ultrasounds and blood tests. She is knowledgeable, friendly, affordable, but most of all, compassionate. She goes through the journey with you and even when things seem so tough, Eliza supports and encourages, and you never feel like just another number. I am so grateful for this clinic and would have had a very different IVF experience without Eliza and Jessica and First Steps Fertility.

Working with Eliza has been a wonderful experience. I am doing IVF out of state and her office has been so good to work with me on outside monitoring ultrasounds and blood draws. They get my results to my office very quickly which is so helpful. The quality of care is amazing and personal and you wouldnt find this at any of the bigger fertility clinics in the area. I feel lucky that I get to work with Eliza and Jess!

I love Eliza, her honesty and knowledge is valued beyond words, especially since it’s so rare to find in the fertility world. Every appointment I have had with her I have left knowing more about my body, diagnosis (POI), and overall less confused with this entire process. I have been a patient at 4 different well know fertility clinics in Los Angeles and seattle over the last 3 years, each one made me feel deceived and just another number to make money off of.I trust Eliza explicitly with my fertility journey and beyond grateful to have found her office!

Eliza and her team are absolutely amazing. I switched from a larger clinic in the area due to being so stressed out over poor communication, disorganization, and having to direct my own care because they would forget things that Id have to remind them of.I did 3 more IUI cycles with First Steps and it was a breath of fresh air working with them. Their compassionate prompt communication and being on top of my cycle took such a burden off my shoulders.Im sad that IUI did not work for us as I was looking forward to continuing care with her through the first trimester.If you are hoping for a caring and attentive clinic who listens and respects you as more than a number, this is the clinic.

Like some of the other reviewers, I was also needing monitoring for my IVF cycles. Like the other reviewers, I agree that Eliza was kind and supportive. It was very easy to schedule appointments and the prices were affordable. After a successful transfer (!) I needed one scan earlier than my insurance would cover and so I went back to First Steps Fertility. The experience that I had there versus the experience with the ultrasound technicians through my insurance was night and day. Eliza was able to talk me through everything, show me the screen, and explain what she was taking pictures of. Conversely, the ultrasound tech through my insurance turned the screen away from me and took various pictures, but said very little. Its very anxiety-producing when you just want to know how your baby is developing. I would highly recommend Eliza for a nurturing and joyous experience as you go through your fertility journey. As a plus size woman who had difficulty trying to conceive, I felt loved and supported by Eliza the whole time. She was fast and efficient, listened to my concerns, gave us options and always left the door open to communicate. My weight was never a barrier to service and that can be an issue for many plus size people. I know this won’t be everyone’s story but we conceived after only 4 months with Eliza (after previous YEARS of trying).

I dont know what I would do without Eliza and Jessica. They are incredibly caring and supportive, and super accommodating! Like many others, I need monitoring for the IVF Im doing out-of-state, so technically Im not even their client. The more unbelievable it is how much theyre doing for me. Need an earlier-than-planned ultrasound? Heres a Saturday appointment for you. Blood test tomorrow? Come at 7 AM. NOBODY else would ever do that. This clinic is simply the best!

After a challenging time trying to conceive, we were very grateful and lucky to have found Eliza. We had been trying for approximately a year with challenges and in one month of Elizas care were able to get pregnant without IUI or IVF. I know Im very fortunate and this isnt everyones journey, but Im very thankful for the few tweaks and interventions from Eliza that made us able to conceive!

Eliza refused to wear a mask when I requested it for my appointment. I am in a high risk household. As a result, I was unable to get the monitoring ultrasound I needed, which anyone going through fertility treatments knows must be done at a very specific time. She displayed absolutely no concern for my safety as a patient nor compassion for the anxiety I was experiencing, which could have been alleviated by her wearing a mask for my 20-minute appointment. On top of that, she was extremely rude about it, too. Id give zero stars if that was an option, I do not recommend her at all.

I met Eliza when my husband and I were beginning our last Frozen transfer here in Washington but for our embryo and home fertility clinic in Texas. I called so many fertility clinics around and no one would monitor my transfer process here if I wasnt doing the transfer here until I found Eliza and first steps. I am so glad I found her, her prices are affordable, she is a great communicator and super flexible in scheduling. I highly recommend her!

My wife and I love First Steps Fertility! Eliza is so so nice and made us feel welcome and comfortable! She always made herself available whenever we needed our appointments. Texting to set up appointments was a super nice perk as we could never find the time to call. Without First Steps Fertility we wouldnt have been able to welcome our beautiful little girl a few months ago. I could not recommend them enough!We will be back for baby number 2!

I genuinely will miss coming to this clinic. I am surrogate carrier and the doctor was so nice and caring. Setting up appointments was super easy and you get your lab results back quick.

Im so thankful to have found First Steps Fertility clinic through google search. Ladies, if youre looking for affordable and quality fertility care, this is the place you want to go to! I started my fertility journey at a bigger fertility clinic in Dallas and I never got half the care as I have experienced with Eliza. To Eliza and Jessica, youre amazing and appreciated! My name is Shelby and I saw Eliza today after a not so great experience at a well known busy fertility. She spent so much time with me assessing my medical history, my fertility history and even my husbands and family. She answered all of my questions and I love how personalized my care is with her. I feel so much more confident in my care plan thanks to all her guidance. 10/10 recommend!

My spouse and I went to establish care with this clinic for IUI monitoring and possible ongoing care. Unfortunately, Eliza was not willing to provide reasonable accommodations per ADA for our visit and we had to leave. For any families who are high risk, please take note and avoid this clinic. Sadly since this is the only clinic providing these services in the area with weekend hours, this is now a barrier for care for families who are high risk trying to conceive.

If I could give more stars, I would! After suffering multiple miscarriages and having other facilities and providers not provide great care, I met with Eliza. I know that my current pregnancy is a success because she took the time to listen to my concerns and ran tests and found something that could have potentially been a contributing factor. She has made my pregnancy journey an incredible one and I can’t recommend her enough!

Eliza is truly the kindest, most encouraging healthcare provider Ive ever worked with. She is very warm and inviting, and I know that my care plan with her is 100% individualized and not some generic script like Ive received at other clinics. She is also amazing at answering the thousands of questions I have every time I see her :)

Eliza and her team are awesome. They are kind and caring. From the first time talking on the phone with her to every single time I call her or message her passion for helping with this journey blows me away.I truly could not have asked for a better person to start off the journey of figuring out our fertility problems.I would and do suggest them to anybody struggling with fertility or even someone who just wants to make sure their egg count is ok and ovulation is going to plan.

After going through the IUI process a few times at another clinic, I started looking for fertility services that could reduce the stress of this process (it’s all about timing!) and for a clinician who would be available to provide expert advice throughout the process. I was VERY fortunate to discover First Steps in Edmonds, WA. The owner Eliza has worked in this field for many years and was able to address all my questions and concerns. And I highly doubt you will find better customer service at any other fertility clinic! She has followed up with me various times in this process, anticipating my needs, and ensuring me that I can reach out with any questions. There was zero stress involved when receiving care. It was such a relief.

Very nice lady. She’s always available to answer any question that you have. She’s full of compassion. Eliza will heard all your concerns patiently and help you made educated decisions through your hard pathways. She has many amazing and affordable options for us women. I highly recommended her.
