Have been here multiple times - today’s visit was bad. Had an appointment, arrived 8 min before the appointment, check in was ok. 2 patients ahead of us. We were there for a sports physical. Got taken back to the exam room and waited over an hour. At the hour mark I walked around looking for someone with no one to be found except one person in an office in the back. As I am standing at the door to the exam room waiting, that same person walked over and said ‘you’re next’ and I mentioned that we we’re waiting over an hour and had an appt. She again said we were next and sorry about the wait but that’s what happens with 4 people ahead of you. It was dead in there and we had only 2 people ahead of us. The exam was done in 10 minutes. Bad to take that long when it was not busy at all.
Sydney was very welcoming, very courteous with a bright smile. We were taking back after sitting for only 5 minutes or so. Kim was the triage nurse and she was also very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The Doctor walked in shortly after and was very nice and explained everything, even a good explanation of the medicine she is prescribing. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. This is one of the best urgent care clinics in the area.
I got seen, eventually, after 3 hours. It sounded like someone went before me, simply because they had to be at work soon. Some of us left work, and still had to go back to work, after our visit. Overall it was very disorganized, and after overhearing the office staff (receptionist, nurses, etc.) talk about staffing problems-- very clearly understaffed. Receptionist seemed very rude when I left and no one was even at the desk when I walked in. Used to come here frequently in the past and had good enough experiences, but after todays visit, itll probably be my last. Wish the best of luck to the staff working there.
The service was great from walk in to leaving after visit. They closed at 8:00pm, but Dr. Cadeau (sp) took her time and made sure I was taken care of. She was excellent! I apologized as I was leaving because it was like 8:40pm. The lady at the front desk reassured me it was fine. I did not get her name or the nurse’s name, but thank you all for such a great experience! I will be back to have my stitches removed.
I fell a few days ago and hurt my hand the swelling just wouldnt go down and the pain was beginning to be more than before. So I looked online to see the closest urgent care near me since I didnt have transportation and would have to take a taxi. Once I arrive from the receptionist to the intake and then the doctor the whole visit was superb..I will definitely let my family friends and neighbors know the wonderful service I received in a timely manner.
Not sure if making an appointment matters as each time (twice) I had an appointment I was seen an hour after the appointment time. Additionally, I had an appointment and when I showed up Nextcare was closed with a sign on the door they would ne open the next day. I was NOT informed of the closing and that my appointment was no long valid. When I was finally seen the treatment was professional and the care as excellent.
I walked in and was seen immediately. The check-in process is virtual and it even allowed for uploading insurance documents. Dr. Taffae Cadeau was genuinely concerned about how I was feeling. She is a very nice doctor that chose not to rush through the visit- unlike many doctors that I’ve seen in the past. I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care facility especially this particular doctor.
If I could give zero I would. I made an appointment for first thing in the morning, showed up 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. An hour after my appointment time I still hadnt seen the doctor and left.I was there at 8:10am (open at 8am) and the place was filthy. All the doors are covered in mucus, the floors werent vacuumed or mopped, and the bathroom was covered in grossness. This is right as they open and theyre a medical facility! It was so gross, they definitely need to invest in a janitorial crew NIGHTLY. Id go elsewhere if you are able.
Woke up this morning with a sore throat and body aches. Was worried about strep. Scheduling was easy and they got me in on time. I love that part. However Wait time in the medical room was pretty long. I was there for 90 minutes. That’s not my favorite when I don’t feel well. All the same. Highly recommend. NextCare is my go to place when I don’t feel week and so much easier than my PCP and sure beats a trip to the ER.
The entire staff was outstanding. The receptionist made it super easy to check in. Everyones attitude was so exceptional, when I went to back to. Room nurse was was very pleasant and thorough in talking about my medications. I was traveling and could not remember my dosage and they were online trying to get it from my primary physicians office. Who does that any more. I was just really excited when I left about great care I was given. Thanks to the whole staff.
The medical staff and medical care was good, but several patients were left waiting for someone to even show up at the front desk. When they arrived, the staffer seemed distracted, couldnt be bothered, and irritable after a customer complaint that they received while we were waiting. An irate patient came in claiming that they had been trying to reach the front desk by phone due to a missing prescription for over an hour and no one answered. The customer said they had to drive all the way back to the clinic in order to have someone re-submit the prescription and then wouldnt leave without a hard copy because they did not trust that it would be taking care of. The front desk staff was very dismissive to the customer, then complained that when they had to go to lunch there was no one else to answer the phone, and that they were just now getting to eat lunch at 4pm. The front desk did complete the request, but grudgingly. Not much urgency at this Urgent Care.
Been feeling horrible for the past few days and was relieved that I am not positive for Covid or the flu. Still feel horrible and hoping the antibiotics will work quickly but was so relieved I didn’t have to wait long and the staff was very kind and understanding. Made the appointment online so it was easy for me especially not feeling well at all.
This provider misdiagnosed my sister. She gave her all of the symptoms that she has, and has been exposed to Hands Feet and Mouth disease. The provider knew this and still said that she didnt have it. Shes in pain, contagious and the provider only gave her 1 day off. She has to go to work and get everyone sick. Great service. Should be fired terrible provider and terrible customer service. Cant get a hold of anyone
I checked in, just walked in and 1.5 hours later, I still had not been seen. There was no one ahead of me on the wait-list. Makes no sense. No communication was been made to me whatsoever. Being sick and not knowing whats going on is very disturbing. This is the second time Ive attempted to use this location and I have not been satisfied with the level of service received. I believe this will be my last time coming to Nextcare. There is nothing urgent here, including the sense of urgency with the staff. From the NP to the receptionist. Poor service all around. The NP just speculated but didnt sound certain about what she was sharing with me on my symptoms. I would have been better of using my home treatments or going to patient first where I would have been seen in a timely fashion, was able to get an X-ray, and even have my medication provided onsite. Major lesson learned. Im done
I had a little infection on my shoulder and everyone helped me out so much. Great quality care, great staff, this is why I always come here. My provider was excellent and answered all my questions.
We entered for our schedule visit at 9:30am and our appt was for 9:45am. We completed the entire new patient registration online before appt-No one was in the reception area. Empty. Which made us happy since my husband was in a lot of pain with hopes we would seen quicklyFront desk was niceWe were called back quickly with the triage nurse. She took vitals and update his patient chartShe sat us in exam room number 6 - 9:54am. We waited and waited finally I came out to see what was going on since we seem to be the only patient there it is now 10:40am. I ask the young lady what was the delay and she stated you are next. I walked around the clinic to confirm we were the only patient in facility. When I then heard her speaking to the triage nurse and The doctor something about me. I asked is there a problem ? Everyone is busy on their cell phone - not laptops or computers on their person cell phone doing social media- I was very upset My suggestion is that you treat the patient so you can return to social media - the doctor did not read my husband chart before entering - she briefly reviewed it where we had to inform her that he just had surgery earlier in May for cancer and this might be a side affect- the doctor even recommended if another problems go to the emergency roomNot the best experienceMC
Waited over 2 hours to see the physcian for less than 5 minutes and left me with no diagnosis nor did she try to figure out why I had severe muscle, pain, a fever and headache. Needless to say my visit was a waste of time and frustrating!
Provider did excellent, but nearly one hour wait past scheduled appointment is unacceptable. This follows my visit a week ago when I showed up for a scheduled appointment and no provider was available and we couldnt even connect remotely while there. Should have told me before I came.
Extremely Professional and Quick.. Shannon Lopez was amazing.. My son was extremely nervous and she took her time to make sure he was comfortable and secure.. Aswell as the rest of staff
Kind and compassionate from checkin to care. This is the kind of care you want when you dont feel well..very little wait. Every urgent care should follow this model. Ive been to some pretty bad urgent care facilities and this is wonderful.
I came here because we were visiting from NY. My daughter was experiencing pain. The provider told us she was sending over a prescription that never made it to the pharmacy. The next morning I called multiple times and there was no answer repeatedly so I went there. I was told to have a seat and the provider that was in today would review her chart. After waiting 30 min I was told there was no documentation of meds to be sent over and that I should give over the counter meds if my daughter was experiencing pain. That in my opinion is unacceptable there would be no reason for me to come there and wait if what I said was not true. So I will be traveling back to NY with my daughter in pain….smdh
Great experience with this urgent care. We are a military family and just moved here, everywhere we have lived the wait time (appointment or walk in) is extremely long but this urgent care was pretty fast. The front desk staff and clinical staff are quick to answer calls and get our requests to the provider with no negative attitude. No parent wants their kids to be sick to the point that we have to take them in, so thank you clinical staff for being gentle and kind to your patients. Thank you Dumfries urgent care for being respectful and professional. I know this can be a stressful job with long hours for all of you but you all handle it with such grace and pride. Thank you.
The customer service was amazing! I was able to walk in and get my son a sports physical within 1 hr. I highly recommend coming here especially for sports physicals.
Horrible experience with the Physician’s Assistant Cletus Atingatang. What’s the point of being an Urgent Care Center when there’s no sense of urgency? I waited two hours only for him to tell me he wasn’t going to do anything bc he didn’t think it was serious. Cruel and slow in the head. The intake specialists were kind, but they need a real M.D. on staff. He’s incompetent.Waste of time in a dire situation. Just go to the ER.
After getting my blood drawn, the nurse dropped the vial of my blood. When she rushed to grab it, she tore the catheter from my arm. That was a little painful and I bled on my pants before we could stop the bleeding. Then I got my referral to get an x-ray. The recommended place, Rayus, was closed. Apparently Rayus only does MRIs on the weekends and the people working at this Urgent Care did not know that. I have just as much pain now as when I went in, I have no x-ray, and I guess Ill just deal with the pain until my blood work results come back.
Worst doctor ever!!!!! I came in for severe allergies sinus pain in sinuses and forehead, runny nose, and welt on my forehead and top lip swollen and using my inhaler and doctor refused a steroid shot and compared me to another patient who abused steroid shots and how it effected her knees and that she didn’t want to prescribe it. She made it seem like I was lying and making up my symptoms even though I’ve been diagnosed with severe allergies and had testing. Today I went to my primary care Dr who not only gave me a steroid shot but prescribed singulair and told me to come back next time I’m going out of town where exposure caused this bad reaction and he would give me another shot and an epi pen and explained how dangerous allergic reactions can be. I’ll never visit this clinic again. How dare the dr compare me to another patient and she really needs training in allergic reactions and allergies.
Great experience. I am a nurse and definitely recommend. Got right in and out. Got exactly what I needed. So hard to get in to my own PCP and never can on a weekend. Both the nurse and the physician were friendly, fast and efficient.
Computers were down, which was a bit inconvenient, but receptionist was very nice and doctor was kind, thorough and explained medication and care treatment well. Answered questions. Overall good experience.
Excellent and fast service. I made my appointment online and the check-in process was very smooth and efficient. Well definitely use this facility again.
Dr prescribed medication without explaining side effects. Come in a week later because of side effects and am told dr cant do anything go to the hospital... billed $300+ for this! Then cant reach the billing office whatsoever.
Son had a deep cut from a chain link fence. Walked in at 4p and had 6 stitches by 5:30p. Everyone there was great and didn’t have to deal with the ER. A+ all around.
I’ve been on vacation for about a week now and had to go to urgent care in Dumphries for my ear. The nurses and doctor I saw were so incredibly compassionate. I haven’t had this kid nd of care since I was a child. I don’t remember their names but they are awesome!
Excellent care from start to finish. Technology speeds up the process allowing you to wait in car, which was perfect for me. Front desk and doctor were very nice and professional.
Horrible service. Time to wait in the exam room was 55 minutes. When I heard the doctor talking to the nurse she was just taking a break. She asked me if I would like to send the prescription to the pharmacy that it’s open til 8 pm. I said yes and when I arrived they told me she sent it to a different location and of course it was closed. She even forgot I asked for a letter for work and I had to remind her. The men who was in the other exam room as discharged and NO ONE told him. He had to get out of the room and he said he was waiting for long time and no one discharged him. 0 stars. Please, don’t go! This is not my first time there but the other time the service was not good I thought it was just a day thing. They don’t care about you feeling well. I won’t have my medication today and the pain is horrible. I won’t come back.
Wouldn’t recommend. They offer to set appointments, but although I was early, I was seen an hour past my scheduled appointment time. Slow service, person taking my vitals didn’t know how to spell my prescriptions, slow service, young staff. I’ve had such a better experience at other urgent cares like Velocity Urgent care that I just would not recommend visiting here unless under emergency.
Had an 11:40 appointment on 12/23 for my 86 yr old mother who had tested Covid positive at home on 12/22. Day staff was terrific!!! Helped Mom with a wheelchair, easy check in process, was seen fairly quickly, questions answered. Kudos all around!
The wait time is absolutely INSANE. I was there for almost three hours for a simple strep throat test. Which I didn’t even end up having. I have to add though, the nurses & doctors are extremely extremely nice, listen to every issue tentatively and made me feel very comfortable.
Appointment was very quick and efficient. Staff were all friendly, especially Nurse Mariah. Thr physician was also very informative of how to proceed with my chronic back problems and offered other physicians for me to follow up with.
They were professional, efficient and prompt! In addition the doctors, technicians, nurses and staff provided thorough information.
It was excellent in service. The staff is awesome. They work excellent as a team. They were fast, super friendly and understanding in all ways. Especially in listening to patients health concerns. The right guidance in treatment. I would highly recommend this office.
Communication was not the best. Accent and bed side manner not conducive to some one in severe pain. Told me I have arthritis and that I may have pulled a muscle, both of which I already knew. Tried to tell me that this is nota workers comp acceptable claim. This was not her place to discuss this with me. Here only job was to assist me with knowledge of what help I needed for resolving my pulled muscle .
Extremely disappointed for the poor unprofessional customer service provided by the front desk person at this urgent care, she seemed to have an attitude when asked why I waited over an hour when I booked at 7pm time slot “appointment” I understand they were running behind but she has no right to give a nasty response in front of my 11year old son. She also didn’t even bother to verify our insurance card my husband was charge at $35 dollars fee when my insurance card says our co-pay is $20 when I confronted her about checking our benefits she said she couldn’t verified the insurance but she still charge my husband $35 for his appointment, she also stated to me I could pay $20 if that’s what I wanted ??? ..This urgent care needs to do better about who they pick to be their front desk person because when you come in to be seen for a sick visit the last thing you want is to be dealing with this kind of nonsense … thankfully the Dr. And her assistant were kind and attentive and provided my son with great care.
Woke up with a horrible sinus headache and a swollen face. I was a walk-in and was registered and seen within 35 minutes which I found exceptional. The staff was attentive and caring. I diagnose fairly quickly and my prescription was called in to Walgreens. Walgreens did not accept my insurance and while I was there I called back to NextCare to see if they could call my prescription in at CVS and within 20 minutes I had a text message from CVS letting me know they have received my prescription. I appreciate how quickly they reroute it my prescription so that I could be on the road to recovery. I highly recommend NextCare Dumfries...they have always taken care of me in a properly.
I love coming to the Next Care Urgent Care in Dumfries! I know...such a weird statement, especially when going to an urgent care isnt necessarily for a good thing 😅. But Ive been here 4 times already, and Im always pleased with the amazing staff, the clean environment, and also their ability to attend to patients quickly. The past 3 times Ive visited this urgent care, Ive had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Veronica Baah each time, and she is AMAZING 👏!! She will explain things to you in a way youll understand, shes supportive, kind, and one of the few doctors that I feel comfortable around and feel actually care for me. Truly grateful for her as well as the entire Next Care Urgent Care Team for always helping me in my times of need 🙏.
Great experience at this urgent care! Scheduling an appointment was easy. I showed up 30 mins early and they were very accommodating to get us in sooner. Our new go to urgent care!
I had a 10:15 am appointment for a covid test. When I got to the room at 10:20 the nurse said its best to check for flu also. It took 1 hour for the on site doctor to come in. Then she check my heart ears and tongue. All of this was just to run up the bill. Never again will I go here.
The staff was courteous & professional. They made me feel like I was a priority.
Incredibly clean. Staff was super friendly. The doctor saw me promptly and was attentive to my needs. I’m so used to doctors negating my experience and having to advocate so heavily for myself, but the doctor was very patient and kind. Whole trip from check in to check out was 25 minutes. I’ll choose this facility for any future illnesses that require urgent care.
It’s all about how many patients you can fit in one hour and then wait an eternity just to have a practitioner try to sell you every product that can be billed to insurance. Unfortunately the choices are limited for us poor folks.
Extremely disappointed by the wait time. We made an appointment for 9:30am on Monday for a burn wound, but had to wait almost 90mins until they took us in. This is very disrespectful of people’s time. They ask you to come in 15mins before the appointment and then make you wait for a long time. I felt so bad for the only practitioner who was on duty. She was really nice and caring. But this location needs atleast two practitioners. Never coming back here again until they hire more staff.
Very neat and clean Care centre and friendly nursing staff...and ofcourse close to my home.
After I was put on this mornings schedule, I was seen by the technician quickly to get my vitals, and was seen by the doctor just a few minutes later. The doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable, and she was able to go over my results thoroughly as well. The entire staff was fantastic, and I highly recommend their services!
Made an apt for 7pm. Checked in at 6:37pm. Wasn’t seen until 7:40pm for vitals. 8:10pm when the Dr finally came in to diagnose. This will be the last time using NextCare.
My son and I waited more than 30 minutes for our test results and then we were given the incorrect results by the provider, who told us he had COVID and the flu. A few minutes later, as we waited for the discharge paperwork, she called us back again to tell us that it was actually strep and the flu, not COVID. She didn’t really listen to what my son and I told her about his symptoms and I had to spend several minutes arguing with her about prescribing my son a pill instead of a liquid antibiotic. She didn’t want to change what she had already entered into the computer and told me kids can’t take big pills (he’s been prescribed the same antibiotic as a pill from this location before). We also had a video visit two days ago and we were told if we went into the office to follow up, we would not be charged the copay again, but I’m out $80 and it was extremely stressful.
Many things went wrong with this visit. My first encounter with the practice and my last. At check in the FD staff informed us that we could possibly be looking at a self pay fee of 300. At the time of describing symptoms we were told a flu test would be ran. Nothing more. At the time of checking out it was almost 500 dollars. For an A&B flu and Covid test. 200 dollar jump? Which they did not inform us of all testing. When checking out, FD staff got verbally irritated that we weren’t gone yet (it was past closing time). Mumbling to herself something along the lines “what is she doing, I’m trying to go.” She then turns off ALL the lights while we were still inside waiting to be checked out. They refused to give us a work excuse note, stating we were given a referral out so they can’t do that. We tied to ask if we can have a note stating my brother had been seen. Immediately cutting us off. A nurse comes out also irritable and immediately gives attitude stating our summary notes are officiant enough. I understand you want to get home but to treat those coming in sick, that’s insanity. Poor treatment, poor communication, and a piss poor attitude.
I will never visit a NextCare Urgent Care again. Ive had 2 miserable experiences here. The first time, I walked in and needed an X-Ray on my foot. They told me they do not have an X-Ray so I left. Somehow, they charged me for an entire visit. I went to the office and disputed it, but they directed me to their incompetent & unhelpful billing customer service number. They gave me the run-around and never refunded me. The second time I visited here, they double charged me and once again, I had to contact their customer service line -- which I suspect at this point might actually just be a scam line. They waste your time and stall and do anything in their power to not refund you. Line would disconnect and/or representative would promise a resolution but nothing would happen for weeks until you called back and repeated the process.
The young lady at the front desk never acknowledged me. I thought that was very rude and unprofessional. Overall everyone else was very polite and professional.
I didnt like how the receptionist acknowledged the patients. When patients come to see the doctor it is confidential and the whole client dont need to here what illnesses they have. The app ask reasons for visit so I feel it doesnt need to be announced out loud. Dr was nice.
The facility is very clean and neat. The receptionist was very pleasant and professional. The triage nurse was pleasant and friendly. Who ever I saw to take the staples out of my head, was very gentle and caring.I would use them again if the need arises , I would also recommend this facility to friends and relatives.
I had a cold and decided I need to see the doctor despite wanting to leave the house. I made an online appointment and was quickly seen by the doctor and able to get back home and rest after I got the proper diagnosis and recommended medication. The team was awesome and professional.
The receptionist was Dry and unfriendly. The doctor and the nurse was very nice.
The office assistant is very friendly and helpful. It’s gets busy so it’s best to make an appointment a day before. Usually my waiting time is 30 minutes, how ever today i waited like 2 hours. I was very understanding and patiently waiting to be seen. I was on my phone killing time.. it didn’t bother me at all.
Wonderful experience both times we have visited. The facility is clean and tidy. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and informative - no matter what time or how crowded. Very grateful to have access to their service since it can be difficult to be seen by our regular doctor at our assigned military health facility.
Such excellent careing personal from the front desk to the back to Dr they were so friendly and professional
Even though it wasnt a fantastic outcome on lab results the staff there were amazing
Front staff missing over 25 minutes. My appt was at 2pm. I waited until 213pm until I opened the door to the back to say anything ing. Finally, front desk person returns said she had to eat. No problem with that. I waited for her to to handle two patients that had questions and then asked if I could talk to the office manager. I was blunt but polite. I didnt raise my voice nor curse. I would say it was my command voice (retired Army). She kept accusing me of being rude and yelling at her. I was not. I contacted Don, an office manager. He said he had cameras and would review the cameras. Its now 1434 and I still havent been seen or had my concerns addressed. I would save your time and money and go to another urgent care.
The doctor was nice but the tech was in a rush and didn’t wait for us to tell her the different pharmacy we needed bc the one we gave her originally was closed. She acted like she took the second pharmacy as she walked out. We have waited most of the day for my husband to get his medication because of her.
Staff is friendly, local office is convenient and wait times for scheduled appointments are not bad. Quiet possibly the worst phone system in existence. There should be a local number to reach a local office but you just get put into a never ending cycle of menu options and transferred to a call center queue only to wait on hold for hours while constantly being reminded by the automated system that they have high volume due to covid. They need to change this system. Having proper channels to be able to communicate with your customers easily and efficiently is paramount to providing quality care and customer service. In this area they are heavily lacking.
I waited for 1 hour in the exam room.I haven’t seen a difference between booking appointments and walk in to this place. If you don’t have plenty time, don’t ever think to go that clinic.
Just moved here to the area an needed to get my daughters sports physical done. I called made an appointment day of, which I ended up rescheduling to Saturday. It worked out perfect they where fast and efficient. And a plus we only paid 25 for the form to be filled out. When all other places I called charged 50-125.I am very happy with this facility!! Our appt was 11 am and we were done by 11:30. Would definitely return. Staff was also very nice!
My son is autistic and Dr. Smith and all of the staff did an amazing job helping me with any and all concerns I had for my son. She advocated for him by helping me understand health issues I could not be aware of by providing excellent patient education and I am very grateful. The staff here really care about their patients. I will be doing all of our urgent care visits here from now on 10/10
Everybody was super Kand my wait. Time was short and they were very infarmative. But the young man that was at the front desk. He was just thank you all for wonderful visit even though I was sick.
My son had an appointment for a sports physical at NextCare in Dumfries. It was a quick, clean and friendly environment. From the front desk to the PA that did his exam, it was an overall great experience.
Great experience. I came in to be seen and was out the door in less than 1 hour. The intake paperwork was electronic and easy to understand. The practitioner listened to my concerns and offered valuable feedback and required treatments.
The WORST urgent care in the area. Looks nice and professional on the outside - which is why people go - but the service couldn’t be worse. The app they tell you to use for check in doesn’t sync with their actual system so the times don’t match. They have no phone number and the front office doesn’t communicate with the back office. Our wait was four hours from start to finish. Unacceptable and the front desk lady did nothing to explain what was going on or seem to care when we got upset. The point of urgent care is you want service and are willing to pay more for it - this place doesn’t seem to understand that.
Came in for a sports physical today and the staff has been completely rude so far for no reason
Very pleasant experianceEveryone was so warm and friendly. There was little waiting time. I would definitely go back if necessary. I highly recommend them
Great courteous professional service for minor health issue. Thanks’
Arrived within the first hour of opening and got seen fairly quick. The nurse and physician I saw were very nice and took my concerns seriously. The whole process took about an hour. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is because I tried to save my spot before opening and the earliest option it gave was at 1pm. There were clearly spots earlier so its disappointing I could save my spot at an earlier time.
They literally told me I have to go and see my primary care provider without even listening to my concerns ,not even my vital signs were taken to see that am okay
I was able to make an appointment next morning for both of my boys’ sports physicals, and there wasn’t a long wait for them to be seen. Staff was nice and finished both within an hour. The cost was reasonable, $25/each since they don’t take Medicaid for sports physicals.
I went there and really liked the way they handled the procedure. They treated me and I got better within 2 days. Thank you a lot, I strongly recommend this clinic.
We took our daughter to our normal urgent care center but they were closed due to being at capacity so we decided to take her to NextCare. It was our first time there and we only had one person ahead of us. It didnt take long for her to be taken into the back, but it did take a little longer for her to be seen by the doctor, due to so many people coming in. Even then, we were out at a reasonable time to go get her prescription filled. Our primary care urgent center normally has a 1-2 hr wait time to be seen and we were out of the NextCare center in almost half that time. We would definitely use them again.
Visits (x2) were both timely. Allergic reaction to medication received from first visit caused 2nd visit. 3 days out and reaction has worsened, not improved. My issue is not with the care received but the fact they never seem to answer the phone. I have now been forced to make a third appointment.
Everyone here is exceptionally kind and helpful!! from the front desk to the nurse and practitioner. i’m very satisfied with my care and would recommend them.
It was a positive experience overall, just rather long wait times even though I registered online in advance of our appointment. The nurses were very pleasant, kind and caring towards my son and were patient with him when his anxiety over taking certain tests overwhelmed him a bit. Besides the wait, and being somewhat limited in their diagnostic capabilities (no on-site bloodwork), I would still recommend for basic, patient-side diagnostic testing, etc.
I was notified to come into the facility two minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The staff was professional, prepared and courteous. I was out in less than an hour which included the time to obtain the results from a COVID and Flu test.
Checked in online, walked in to verify that I was checked in. The front desk lady told me I was and to wait in my car for a call. After waiting for 45 minutes I walked in to check the time and the front desk lady informed me that I wasn’t checked in and she was having issues with doing so. The same lady that just told me I was good. After 45 minutes, this woman didn’t even have the Courtesy to call me and tell me that she didn’t check me in. 45 minutes! Not everyone can afford to leave work for so long. After getting frustrated and raising my voice, she decided to tell me that it was an urgent issue in the clinic and that person had to be taken back. Completely different from what she told me the first time.Clearly the front desk woman has no respect for peoples time or care for doing her job appropriately.
This is the main location I visit but I always feel like I waste my time going to any urgent care because I always leave the same way I came in. Still sick with no medicine, every time I come for a sick visit they take my money but give no medicine for relief especially with my asthma. Im always diagnosed with “a virus” that I have to let pass.
Came with a gash in my arm... bleeding... they were quick and attentive and very patient with me, as I was in a state of shock. The medical professionals were very knowledgeable and caring about my arm and overall health.
Everything was done friendly, promptly and professionally. The nurse even wrote a sweet welcome note to our sick daughter on the examination table paper. A very sweet extra touch. We were in and out in less than one hour and on a Sunday too!! The staff, from the receptionist, nurse, and doctor, were all exceptional and gave us an excellent experience. We highly recommend this facility.
The visit was as smooth as one could hope for. Staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. A bit long in waiting for the Dr but there was significant time and discussion spent with me once she arrived. They really should invest in X-ray machine and technician. I will be going back when needed.
You’ll was great best experience I had in a long time
The system they use , that will allow you to check in online and then wait in your car for a phone call is perfect. Once I checked in I didn’t wait long at all to be called in then brought my daughter right to the back . They had us in and out and I really appreciated the fast service and almost little to know wait . The staff was so friendly and the facility was really clean and nice . The doctor was very friendly and helpful ( wish I remembered his name to shout him out ! )
Staff was friendly and professional. Wait time was short and sweet. NP was thorough in her examination of our daughter and detailed about what we needed and provided docs to support continued healthcare. Thank you
I made an appointment and was seen quickly. The doctor on staff treated me and l was given prescriptions. I always am treated well by everyone whenever l go there.
It was my first time there. Everyone was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I like the fact that they are so up to date with technology so, in the future I can schedule my appointment from and then arrive when Im called for my place in line. Thats very convenient.
The wait time wasn’t very long. Staff members were all nice however my actual provider didn’t spend much time examining or talking to me. Granted it was just for a sore throat. The appointment felt very rushed. I asked about what I could take to relieve the sore throat and the provider kept trying to wrap up the appointment and said alright that’s all for today, Tylenol or ibuprofen, alright you’re all set.
Great service from Doctor and nurse. Wait time was a bit much to be seen, even with a reserving a time Would be 5 stars otherwise.
The nurses/staff are very knowledgeable & pleasant. Each visit they have given me a plethora of info; as well as, taken great care of my children.
This place is always professional and caring, my children always have a positive experience!
The process is pretty easy however, after receiving a text and a phone call stating they were ready to see me, upon check-in, front desk were acting as if it never happened and I never received either until we showed proof. This delayed my spot and had to wait some time. But overall, this is my closest urgent care office and I’ve always liked it.
Got me in and out in about 45 minutes very courteous and professional group
Great service! The whole staff is very nice and attentive. I had a great experience from the check in to the check out. Today I was seen by the nurse Ms. Shannon. She went the extra mile for my well-being! Thank you!
Made an appointment ahead of time. Walked in and receptionist ignored me. Took her 15 minutes to ask me who I was. Didnt even look up. Took me in 30 minutes after scheduled appt. time. Place was empty. Nurse took me back for vitals, same attitude. Rude, short, annoyed. Dr. was okay but needed something for cough and she wouldnt prescribe anything. Your sick, not feeling well and get treated like this. Will not go back.
If I could give zero stars I would. The sign on the door said they closed at 8pm, I arrived at 7pm and got turned around by the rude lady at the front desk. Would not go here
Making an appointment ahead was very convenient. You also can check in online from your car. Each staff member was friendly and thorough. Although, keep in mind they do nat have any diagnostic equipment here, not even ultrasound. They can order X-rays, but that is all. This is a great place to go for respiratory illness (flu, COVID) or bumps, strains, sprains. I went for mystery abdominal pain in hopes of avoiding the ER, but without ultrasound the only thing they could do is refer me to a specialist.
Although the clinic in the IHOP Restaurant parking lot in Dumfries VA was closing when we got there, the staff were very friendly & caring. I was suffering & needed to be seen. They got me in & got me seen by Dr. Fatema. All the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and very skilled. I was treated with respect & care. I have nothing but praise for the staff of this clinic.
Although they were having issues with the computer system, from Stephanie at the front desk to the medical assistant to the doctor; all were fantastic! We were able to walk in and get seen within an hour and was out within 30 minutes of being seen. Total time was 1 1/2 hours.
Everyone is very nice but it was a really long wait even though I made an appointment ahead of time.
This Urgent Care’s whole network is trash. I had a virtual appt because I’m sick and I called about 5 times (no exaggeration) to get my charts and Dr. note emailed to me. It never worked it wasn’t attached correctly. THEN I called another time to see if I can just get in touch with the closest location so I can pick it up. The customer service rep called them 3 times! They NEVER answered the phone. Not even for their own COMPANY calling. So, I get there thinking they MUST be swamped but no I could see the two desk associates talking to each other through the window. One mother and her child was in there waiting. I told the desk staff that we’d been trying to reach them she said they’ve been swamped but we had JUST tried calling 10 minutes before. So clearly thats not true. The “no aggression will be tolerated sign” should have been enough to realize this was not the place to have my health in their hands. It’s the audacity for me 🙄
I wanted a covid test done. Did a walk-in and was taken with no problem with my ins.I waited less than 30mins to get seen. Took the test waited 15mins and was out in no time with a negative result! I was happy not only for the good results but I really was in and out! The staff was great and professional. I will continue to use them for my urgent care.
Friendly, caring staff. I’ve been there three times now for UTIs. I was satisfied with the care I received. The only problem I’ve ever had with them is that I received a letter saying I should contact them as soon as possible about lab results. I called and called. Nobody ever called me back. Ticked me off.
I made an appointment for a rapid Covid test and it took them 55 mins to call me back. It took another 45 mins to receive my test results. There was only 1 patient in front of me and it still took a very long time. Although the staff is really nice, I will have to find another urgent care that has better time management. The walk ins were averaging the same time. Advice, doesn’t matter if you have an appt or not, your total visit will be 2hrs or more.
Great staff and I am very pleased with my experience!
I just left there, with my son and husband in tow. All 3 of us are sick and miserable AND EVERY SINGLE TIME I come in the staff is soo patient and so kind it immediately takes away my worry!! I have to thank you all for being so amazing and tell you I wish there was some way to repay that kindness. You have no idea what it means to be comforted in these stressful times and I just, from the bottom of my heart thank you! A tremendous thank you to the staff at the front desk and all the ladies in the back I hope you all have blessed Christmas and a very happy new year!
This is one of the most friendliest and professional Urgent Care Centers I ever go to and will continue to go. I go here for my DOT physical and they are always professional, courtesy and values your time. Thank you for always great experience and service!
The staff is very friendly. Lorin B was very professional and sufficient with the documentation checkin/checkout procedures. Danielle was very friendly, fun, attentive to listen very well to my daughter and me. Dr. Donald Bradshaw was nice and explained some valuable information to my daughter and myself that calmed my anxiety. Overall very excellent experience. Thank you staff for a swift and good experience.
I just walked-in in distress and pain, but the reception was excellent and my urgent care needs met in a friendly manner. Special thanks for FNP Murray Shannon for your exceptional services. You’re the best. I appreciate all you do🙏🏾❤️.
The staff here is wonderful! The nurse connected with my wife immediately, even though we arrived towards the end of their work day. Dr. Black was very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. Any time anyone in my family is feeling down, I’m coming here first.
I made an appointment and was seen a little bit after the appointment time started. They were very sweet and listened to all of my concerns and helped me get some meds I needed! They send your prescription straight to your pharmacist which is really nice. They only had one lady at the front working who was juggling a lot it seemed, but she was nice for as busy as she was!
We were in and out fast with an early morning appointment. I was pleased with the care provided and the courtesy of the staff.
Horrible front desk associate. After taking my mom to NextCare she was told that it would take 30 mins and to wait in the car. After 30 mins my mom went back and she was told it was just an estimate and that there are plenty more patients before her and that they will give her a call. My mom was simply following what she was instructed to do so, I do not get why there was a need to make any snide remarks about other patients waiting. Front desk could have at least let her know this was only an estimate first and foremost.
The staff was friendly but I went in with throat pain and ear pain and they told me it was a common cold even though I was in a lot of pain. I then went to a different urgent care and look at my ear to see it was infected and was shocked they sent me off without medicine to help. Will not be coming back after this incident not worth it.
I needed a rapid COVID-19 test for surgery that I had a three day notice of and its already Friday evening when I found out and was given a list of things to do by Monday afternoon.. I was able to do a walk-in and get the rapid COVID-19 test within 20 minutes. I couldnt ask for quicker service than that.I also was very pleased with how friendly and pleasant all of the staff was. The whole experience was wonderful..I would recommend them them to anyone.
The staff were very attentive and caring. However, a specimen was sent to the lab without a patient label to ID the specimen and therefore the Covid PCR test was not done. I understand that mistakes happen. But, I expected to receive an apology from this clinic but never received a call that I was told would be coming. That would have been the professional thing to do. As a retired medical professional myself, I really would have appreciated that. I did a rapid test at home that thankfully was negative
Just very long wait but very nice professional staff
I brought in my 2 and 4 year old sons who were complaining of ear pain. I told them that my one son cried for an hour straight at school--highly unlike him--and that he kept hitting his head saying stop it! because he was in so much pain. The nurse practitioner spent less than a minute with each child, said it was ear wax (for both kids!), and told us we should follow up with their pediatrician to have their ears irrigated. Hmmm. Im no medical professional, but I do have common sense. It seemed highly suspicious to me that both children happened to develop ear wax pain at the exact same time. It seemed far more likely that they might have a contagious illness. I called my sister, who is a family doctor, and she agreed the NPs explanation made no sense and said ear wax doesnt cause excruciating pain. When both kids continued to complain of pain, we took both of them back to quality doctors who diagnosed ear infections. We spent $70 on co-pays for NextCare which we had to spend all over again because of their negligence. Much more importantly, my children suffered extra days of illness that could have been alleviated if NextCare had properly diagnosed my kids in the first place.Instead of writing a negative review, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I called NextCare to express my concern and have yet to hear back from their customer service specialist after 7 days and two phone calls. Terrible customer service! Terrible medical service! They have earned my one star review.
They have a nice large waiting area, fairly comfortable seats, and everyone is nice. The biggest pitfall they have is the wait time. For a basic school physical we were there for 1.5 hours. I’d say it could be due to COVID but my first experience, 2 years ago, was the same. Very nice staff though.
This is the worst Urgent Care I’ve been to. I went to check if I have a stomach virus and the front desk lady was very rude. After I finished my appointment (2 months ago) they still haven’t called me about my lab results or what was going on. I only found out that I had a bacteria through the Prince William County Health department. I called this urgent care, and they never returned my calls to discuss my results.
The clinic and process was fast but 2 RX were sent to the pharmacy. Only one was received and have not been able to get the other one resent for the past 5 hours. The call center lady stated that I couldn’t wait for a physician and hung up on me. Called the clinic multiple times and was routed to the call center.
Got my daughter in right away. Front desk ladies were great, dr was great, and we were in and out very fast! This will be our go to urgent care in the future! Very impressed & thankful.
Im disappointed that men and women are treated so differently when it comes to care and pain at this specific NextCare facility. My husband less than a week ago heads to this same location, tests negative for strep, covid, and the flu but is given antibiotics anyways. I am evaluated negative for everything to but the person who saw me made comments including, wow, your tonsils are angry, super inflamed, and I was told I cant believe you are negative for strep. Im told to go home with nothing even though I cant swallow without crying and I have tried every over the counter pain med. When will women be believed about pain or their bodies? I will not come back here again because of the unequal treatment of men and women in this location. Why do the policies about building antibiotic resistance only apply to women? I have read the studies and articles about Doctors and medical professionals being unwilling to listen or believe women but seeing in this facility was horrible. I have never written a negative online review let alone one about a healthcare provider but the treatment my husband and I received was so different that I will not come back to this location again.
I was treat so well at NextCare in Dumfries VA. I had an allergic reaction to my medication and went to NextCare on Monday evening. The online forms and check in process was convenient and easy. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Once I was back to see the nurse, they were professional, kind, and were able to help me. I felt the entire staff cared about my medical situation and I am grateful.
Service was thorough and clear. Communication was concise and polite. I am very pleased and grateful. Though there was a long wait everything was made clear right up front so I knew where to check and what to expect. Thanks team! You all were great!
I had a great experience today at the Dumfries clinic. Something happened to my wrist where it seemed to me the vein started to swell followed by pain so I just wanted it looked at. Annie at the front desk was very pleasant and friendly, Amanda was very kind and caring. I didnt the medical assistants name but she too was kind and efficient.
They did a great job of getting us in quickly to deal with my son’s fractured wrist. Both the nurse and the doctor were gentle, understanding, and thorough. My son was very emotional about the injury and they were very empathetic and did a great job of putting him at ease.
This was the first time using this urgent care and I am impressed! Everyone was very kind and the Doctor was real sweet and genuine. I wish she could be my girl’s doctor all the time!
Front desk staff member was amazing. Doctor was kind and we appreciated attention to detail. There was a long wait, due to the number of people in the office, but it was worth it for the level of care.
If I could give no star I would!! Do not go to this clinic. I went in for a severe painful earache and they did not send my prescription for antibiotics until the next day, after I called the main line twice. They do not have a direct number. So instead of going to my other appointment today, I have to rearrange my schedule to pick up my meds. They used to have better customer service back in the day.
I felt comfortable going here knowing the precautions they take. The PA was wonderful helped with my problem and was quick with it and it didnt feel rushed so she earned her 5 stars!! Thank you for the wonderful care.
Everyone is extremely nice here. The staff seems to generally care about your problem, and after I revisited regarding another issue, they checked up on me about the previous one. Ive seen two different doctors here and each one was accommodating and answered every single question I had. They dont rush you out the door, and ensure youve been properly helped. Ive seriously received better service here than most of my previous experiences anywhere. Thank you NextCare, especially Dr. Black.
Very good nurse practioner. The front desk ladies were nice and the assistant was kind, too. The wait was a little long. One drawback. I would recommend this NextCare Urgent Care.
My experience at NextCare was exceptional from the beginning to the end. Lorna who worked the main desk when you first enter the facility was full of energy and consistent in all she did. She went above and beyond to make sure my insurance was updated appropriately and I observed her interaction with every other patient that came in...she never missed a beat. Monique who was the tech was also very personable, caring and made me feel at ease. The NP Maghan was outstanding and was very compassionate. She was most informative and explained everything to me to ensure I had no further questions. Lastly and certainly not least Danielle who was the radiology tech was very kind friendly and just exuded excellent customer service. I have to say the entire staff there worked as a proficient and remarkable team nothing that I have observed in a long time and it was most refreshing to see this in healthcare moreover in any establishment. My hats off to that entire team and I will definitely be supporting you all and recommending your office to others. God bless you all and take care😊
Great service! Staff was responsive and helpful.
Initial Nurse was extremely nice. The 2nd health care, provider, DrOr Practitioner was even nicer! The receptionist needs more kinder vocabulary/friendliness!
Overall experience was more than fantastic! The lady at the front desk was super professional and a pleasure to work with. Its not every day that you get good customer service along with a friendly attitude. Just wanted to take the time to let the people at nextcare know that your great service doesnt go unnoticed!!! THANKS!!!!
For curbside treatments and service this clinic was very organized. Many patients had to be handled simultaneously from the initial check in, parking set up, registering, testing, and then waiting for results. Each step proceeded in a timely manner. And the staff were all super nice!
I made my daughter’s appt. online with no issues, checked in outside and waited in my car to be called. The entire process was fast and easy. We were seen within 10 mins of checking in and out of the urgent care within 30. Overall great service and care by the doctor.
Very efficient, friendly, and timely. Refreshing to go into a business and get these good feels.
We’ve had multiple great experiences at NextCare Urgent Care. The staff is efficient and friendly. They get you in and out quickly and tend to your needs. They also take their time with you when you are receiving care. They listen to the patient and don’t make you feel rushed. I highly recommend them
Awful. Just awful. Waited 3 hours to see someone (for an entire hour they didnt take anyone back, just kept seeing people leave-I was next on the list so I was watching closely). Saw the doc for a couple of minutes. She called in some prescriptions. Called the pharmacy an hour later because I hadnt gotten a text that they were ready. The prescription had errors and they had called the doc for clarification. They called again. Went to the pharmacy after 1.5 more hours. Still nothing back from the doctor. So we called from there and were on hold for a while. We were told they had sent her a message, but she was busy.So I drove back to Nextcare. The receptionist (who was super sweet) went back and got the doctor to call in the correct prescription. They were in the middle of a pot luck or some kind of party, so that must be why the doctor couldnt take the time to answer the phone or fix the prescription. My throat is raw and Im coughing up all kinds of stuff. Just wanted to get the meds and get to bed. Had no idea it would be an entire days affair (7 hours later and now waiting for the pharmacy to fill the new script). Will NEVER return to Nextcare. Would rather drive the distance to any other place that go through that again. Just a miserable experience!!
I scheduled an appointment to check for concussion (this was a couple of days after the possible injury, in case youre wondering why we didnt go to ER). I was told they didnt do concussion check only when we arrived. It was clear in the comments that that was the purpose of the visit. So a phone call or text wouldve been helpful so we didnt waste time and effort to go.
It’s Nice to make appointments ahead of time . My son was not feeling great. The appointment took an hour and 10 minutes from check in to driving home! All tests done quick and staff was prompt!
Dr Black is a wonderful Doctor and always pleasant! I get such good care and the wait is never too long the times I’ve been there. Thank you NextCare for always taking care of my needs! Stay safe and God bless you all.
We waited in line for covid testing as walk in patients at this location as they werent accepting any more appointments. On the 1st day we arrived later in the day so we understand that they had reached capacity and had to turn us away. They told us to get there at 8am the next day so we can get in. We were in line from 7am to 11:30am the next day when a staff came out and said sorry, we cannot see anymore people today. So we, among maybe 30 other people who had been waiting for 4 hours, had to leave, our whole morning wasted. I understand that its alot more busier than usual with all the people needing testing. But there has to be a better system to predict when they will be at full capacity if the staff walks in to see a line formed outside an hour before they opened, they can estimate how many people are in that line and know where they have to cut off people and let them know earlier on. That way people still have a chance to attempt other locations or facilities. Staff was rude too when announcing we had to go home.
My wife had virus symptoms and her Dr. recomemded NextCare Urgent Care. We went without an appointment, so had to wait out turn. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. She was tested and got her results in less than 1/2 hour. Her test was negative, thankfully.
Great staff, it was busy but the staff did a great job taking care of everyone. WRT my reason for the visit; the doctor took her time listening, explaining, and providing me with the necessary prescription. Very satisfied with my visit. Thank you!
So easy no waiting give a same day app. Was in and out with strep test done, medicine order to the pharmacy in lest that 45 min. Wonderful service 👏 Thank you.
I was feeling ill all weekend so I decided to go and get checked for the flu and covid. They took me in right away gave me the tests and had me out within 30 minutes. The staff was very efficient, professional, and showed a lot of compassion for my illness. I normally dont go to the doctor when I have the flu, but because of the covid, I went and im glad. The service was outstanding. I recommend going here if you dont have a primary doctor.
The staff saw us even though they were about to close. My son hurt his arm and I thought he should have an x-ray. Dr. Chung, the nurse and the front desk assistant were extremely nice and took care of my son efficiently and professionally. Dr. Chung was caring and explained everything he needs to do to heal. I would definitely return here for care.
Schedule a week ahead, came at 5:45, was out by 6:30. Was able to wait in my car, nurse called me asked me some questions and then told me to come in and head to my room number. Fast easy and great customer service.
I tried to set up an appointment over the phone to do COVID-19 testing and they told me they were booked but they were taking walk-ins all day for testing and that I can easily just come in and take the test Curbside. When I arrived I called the number at the door for testing just for them to tell me they aren’t taking walk-ins and that I should call ahead next time? I recommend driving the extra 5 mins to the urgent care down the street, they were very helpful and were straight up with me rather than telling me two different things.
Would not advise for TB testing to go here. They are the last to be seen. I Waited an hour after “ appointment time” for TB test only to be told that the appointment time does not mean appointment. That it doesn’t mean anything. That they still had no idea when I would be seen. Two other people were also waiting on their TB test and on guy had been there for 30 minutes longer than myself.
Staff was nice, attentive and helpful. The wait, however, was extremely long I was not seen until about 40 mins after my appointment time. Once I got in the back I was in and out which I appreciated
They tell you one thing and they do another. My Al daughter had an appointment at 1pm they did not even call to let us know if they were ready I had to keep going to check twice if they were ready for her. I was told by the front desk she would have a rapid COVID 19 test with same day results I let them know my child was exposed to two people with COVID and she came in with a runny nose congestion and a cough they said well that’s not enough to do a rapid test result she can wait 5 days in the lab will send the results . How does that make sense you rather risk her infect others when the I specifically scheduled for a rapid test due to her having a younger sibling at home that can potentially be sick as well . But okay I guess they know better . Last timeI’m ever coming to this urgent care. It doesn’t matter if you have an appointment cause you still won’t be seen until an hour past your appointment.
NextCare has been a game changer for me. No longer do I wait forever for a provider to get back to me. I get in and out and on the road to recovery. I highly recommend them!
I was in the little exam room. I had to step out and they kept forgetting I was in there. So apparently it’s the patients job to remind them “hey I’m back here can I leave?”Was there for 2 hours which wasn’t bad but it was still very aggravating since they only had to do two thing, but they kept leaving to go chit chat with each other rather than focus on patients. I had to remind them to print off a paper for me. I don’t mind workers talking but at least don’t forget about your patients.
I had to wait long in my car but the visit overall was a good experience and nurse was thorough, kind and professional. Update 2023. I signed up online only to be told that I wasnt in the system. Never again.
I had an extremely positive experience at NextCare in Dumfries. I did not have to wait long and even better, I didn’t wait long for the doctor once I was taken back. Everything was very efficient. The doctor also took his time to explain everything and I felt much at ease. I would highly recommend this facility. It was also very clean and the staff were all friendly.
I heard so many nada reviews, but my experience was good. Did not have to wait too much and personal we’re very friendly and courteous and answered all my questions. Glad I choose them for my visit.
Booked an appointment online and was seen and out the office in a total of one hour. I felt the arrival and wait time was adequate and I appreciated their assistance. I got my back issue addressed in a timely manner.
Wait time was about 45 minutes in the lobby, and about 25 minutes in the back room. Total time a little over an hour, pretty good!! Better then waiting at a hospital for hours!! Nice staff, great Doctor’s!! Recommend highly!
First visit several months ago had great service and quick results. 5 stars1 star: Second visit 3 days ago was terrifying because of nurse practitioner Amanda-bad service and unprofessional. She was rough as if she was mad at the world. Felt like she puncture my ear drums when she went up my noise. I wanted to do and say some things to her. If you get Amanda please ask for someone else, but always asked who are you before you allow them to do anything on you. She didn’t even announce who she was, just ready to get it over. She was more anxious then me. I hope she was a nurse at least. Bad and poor service from Amanda. Stay far away. She gave me a terrible headache as well. Had to take 800 mg. Luckily I was ok the next day. Which is good for “A”P.S. I did report her and I was giving a call back from the company. Thank you Mrs. Ronnie!Michele S.
I couldnt get into my regular clinic today, so decided to try the Urgent Care Clinic. And let me just say I was very pleased and they were prompt. From the check to Danille taking my vitals and Dr. Bradford being thorough and understanding. It was a great experience overall and better than going to my usual doctor, in and out in less than 45 mins. I highly recommend. Thanks for your great service today
Honestly the best service Ive ever received at a doctors office or urgent care! I needed to be seen for a minor, non-contagious issue before catching a flight and they made it happen! To top it off, everyone was incredibly friendly! Will definitely go back if I ever need urgent care!
The whole staff is wonderful! The Nurse Practitioner Smith was excellent and personable. It was a great experience at a time when I was under the weather.
The nurse and the doctor was very professional and caring but person at the service desk was extremely rude!!!!! She works in healthcare services provider Not at McDonald’s.
I was super and worried about having a COVID test performed. Everyone was kind, caring, and professional. The young lady at the front desk took care to address my concerns while keeping herself and me safe (distancing when I breached the plexiglass). The nurse was patient with me because I was terrified of having the exam. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions as well as my sisters questions about the accuracy of the exam. I’m really thankful to all three of them. ❤️❤️❤️Fun fact: my test was negative. So, I thank God for that!!!!
I scheduled a visit to take a Covid19 test. The staff could not have been more professional. The checkin was quick and smooth and done from your vehicle. They took all the necessary safety precautions. If you are getting swabbed just know that the swab goes pretty far back into your sinus cavity. Not painful, but it does tickle. Thank you NextCare staff for all your hard work during these unusual times.
Absolutely the worst clinic Ive ever been to. I waited 3 hours before the Nurse Practitioner to come in complaining to another staff member rolling her eyes and saying They always come in three. Afterward, doing a quick and cold assessment of me. Finally I did my lab work and was told that someone would call me in 1-2 days with the results. Second day, I called them late in the evening before they closed after waiting for a call from them. To my disappointment and frustration, the NP had ordered the absolute wrong blood test! The Nurse I spoke with thankfully was able to put my correct blood work as an add; the results of which would not be back for 2 days. Today is day 2 and, I still have not received my correct lab work results. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the staff (minus the NP, of course) that were pleasant and helpful at least. If you DO decide to go here, make sure to be on top of all that the provider does and orders to ensure its accuracy.
Took my wife there for an xray on her knee. We did everything you were supposed to do and made appt online before we went. We waited outside for a hour with no contact and my wife in pain. I finally went inside and asked what the deal was and the receptionist said they didnt have an xray tech. I said are you kidding me? Were you planning on telling me? Her response was My bad in a F you tone. It was worth us spending an extra $200 to go to Lake Ridge Sentara ER. Our mistake was going to this dump in the first place. Never again and get some compassionate receptionists who care about their job.
Today I received professional and caring services from staff. Having access to complete paperwork and check-in provided for a streamlined and efficient visit.
Honestly couldn’t believe how fast we were seen, and how friendly everyone was. We arrived about an hour before closing and only waited a little before being called inside. Everyone we interacted with were so nice! If we ever need to use an urgent care clinic again we will be going back to this place.
Experience of a complete opposite of an urgent care. This place should have a slogan “we see you when we see you”Set an appt for 2 pm and arrived at 1:45 pm with all documents pre-filled online. I was told to wait for the appt time and I will get a call when they are ready for me. At 2:10 pm getting concerned. I walk back in to be told that I was skipped because they had an emergency case. I notified the staff that I had taken an hour lunch from work so maybe it’s better that I just cancel and come back another time. I was told it may be 15 more mins so I decide to wait again. It’s now 2:30pm when I got the call. Asking me to come inside. After coming inside I waited another 15 mins before the nurse came out to take me back to the exam room. I notified the nurse of my time constraint and Now at 2:45pm I am told that the physician is still with another patient and it maybe 15-20 mins minimum before he sees me. At which point I decide to leave and never come back.
Im happy that NexCare was able to help with my last minute Sunday visit where everyone else was either closed or you had to have symptoms. I had to get a COVID test done for travel purposes & was not symptomatic. My only issue was the was was 40 minutes for test results when they told me 20 minutes & the website said 15 minutes. Overall - SATISFIED
An awful experience. Customer service is terrible. They cancel appointments without notifying you. Peoples health and lives are dependent on good healthcare service and providers. The unprofessionalism and incompetence of this location can have someone lose their life. They need to be shut down. Messing around with this location can have you killed.
I went to NextCare Urgent Care with my spouse today and the staff was great. One nurse name Danielle really did a great job accommodating us and made us feel very comfortable during our visit. I highly recommend this place for your future medical needs.
The staff was very friendly and caring! Dr. Black explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was well taken care of. He even conveniently sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy and asked if I needed a doctor’s note for work. He went above and beyond!
I checked in via the QR code as instructed on the front window. Waited about 10 min. Got seen and was out in about 20 min. Overall the process was efficient. The reception was pleasant and care just as pleasant. Only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was all the questions I had to answer on the phone after checking in.
Everyone from the reception to the provider was helpful and kind. We were greeted with the smiling faces, patience, and warmth of the knowledgeable staff. So very pleased with our experience.
The staff here have treated me very well every time Ive had a visit, with or without an appointment. (Although I highly recommend an making an appointment prior.) I dont feel rushed and the areas are clean and taken care of.
The receptionist poorly updated us of our waitime, she kept leaving the reception area for great periods of time, she had walk-ins waiting at the front desk for service because she was missing. We all have phones and use them but she had her ringer on and we can all hear when she received text messages. She made my symptoms worse and as your first point of contact it was very poor. She had a very ugly attitude and was uneducated with insurance, she told me to take a seat and that shed call me up to pay for my co-pay. With my federal employee insurance I dont pay co pays. She made my visit very unfortunate. As for Rachel the nurse and Magan FNP, they were amazing for examining me quickly and listening to me as the patient.I thank them greatly. Receptionist had a very bad quality and made it uncomfortable for everyone.
Probably need 2 signs out front with the Spanish AND English instructions visible to public (currently is on 2 sided sign with Spanish side facing out and its notnl attention grabbing for non Spanish speakers). After i was told the number to call, I waited on hold for about 25 minutes to get checked in. I was then called early for the previously estimated time and asked to move to a designated parking space (someone else was in my number- but then was resolved when a staff member walked by and verified people) and did not impede my service. They came and swabbed me for COVID and Strep and the results were back in 20 more minutes. Lengthy wait times based on volume of clients, but positive experience otherwise.
My son has asthma and he needed albuterol for his wheezing. I didn’t realize the wait would be so long when I got there. I ended up going inside to talk to the lady at the desk. She says with an attitude, did you get a text to come in here? I said no but my son is wheezing and I want to make sure he can get a breathing treatment. We don’t give albuterol ever since covid has come. Each doctor is different so you just need to see when they call you. I said well do you know how long before he can be seen? No but it’s long, and if you leave from your car and they call you, you’re not gonna be seen.. attitude again! I ended up taking my son to the emergency room where he was treated with respect! I don’t know if this lady was overwhelmed, but she was Extremely rude and insensitive to what was going on with my child! I will never be back again! I would give 0 stars if I could!
All nextcares are the most inefficient and disorganized clinics you can ever go to. HAD A 3PM appointment. Came at 2:45, they put me in a room and I didnt hear from anyone until 5pm. Absolutely ridiculous. Whats the point of an appointment if youre gonna see me 2 hours after I arrived? Cant even check in on someone and let them know whats going on?
I set up an appointment 1 week ago for today ,12/14, to have a COVID test, as 2 people in my house tested positive. The girl on the phone “educating me” was telling me not to get tested since a positive test would cause me to re-quarantine as my family members were already isolating and almost done with their 14 days. I tried to tell her I wanted to get the test so I can know my status and not be potentially infecting people without knowing. She was insinuating that I should have lied about my symptoms if I wanted to get a test today because she didn’t think that having two people positive in my house was worthy of me wanting to know my COVID status with minimal symptoms. She wasn’t even being informative about COVID, she kept saying that she doesn’t think I needed a test and would cause myself a hassle if I did test positive because of the self isolation I would have had to do. Very unprofessional. I when I went to my appointment at 1:30, I called to check in and was instantly put on a 20 min wait. After waiting for 20 minutes, the girl answered the phone saying how she doesn’t think I need a test, I didn’t even want a rapid test, just a regular one so I can know my status. Irresponsible people like this in the healthcare field is what is causing this virus to rage on. I would avoid this location if they have people like her working there and handling COVID testing. Rude and unprofessional. Avoid this location like COVID!
I understand that the Dale City location was possibly understaffed but conducting an average of two COVID swabs an hour is unsatisfactory. From 8am to noon they saw about 8 walk-ins. Im not sure what happened after 12:15 but who ever took over, thumbs up. In about 40 minutes they knocked out about five COVID swabs.
We knew there would be a crowd of people, but the staff was friendly and professional, and handled the crowd well. We were given a return time, and a really received a call back early. Everything was quick and efficient. Overall a great experience.
