Urology (Griffin Faculty Physicians)

I just want to thank Doctor Grace Briggs for her help with my UTI/IC. I feel so much better and hiprex is helping me get my life back as I really do not want to keep my infection from reoccuring and take antibiotics everytime.She listened to my concerns and helped me.

When looking into a local Urologist - I decided to stick with Griffin as they have served me very well. I saw the less then stellar reviews of this office but decided to ignore the reviews and choose them as my provider. I will say the the Doctors and APRN were fantastic - they are in no way the cause of my negative review. The issue with this practice is the office staff and their lack of professionalism and the reason for my low rating. I had noticed when calling the office over several months - it was always very hard to reach someone. The answering service typically picked up even well past the customary hour lunch period - frustrating but can be dealt with. Signaled a red flag. Now for the main reason for my review revolves around an incident today - I arrived 14min late for my appt. I alerted the staff member the day prior who tried to move me earlier that I was coming from NYC and that even 4pm on the dot is a gamble. I was at fault for being late - but it was the reaction from the office personal when I walked in that sent me thru the roof. I walk in and the lady at the open window looks at me and says That aint happening. I was prepared for the potential reschedule but not that. A doctors office is generally a place you expect compassion (or at least professionalism). Not from the office staff here. I have chosen to move to a different practice and bring my business elsewhere but thought it was warranted to write this review and warn others that there is in fact a reason why this office has received negative reviews and they should not be ignored. Again, Doctors are fantastic - but you have to make it thru the negative cloud before you reach them which I do not have patience for.

Best experience ever! Finally someone who helped and listened. Quick appointment. Quick results. I am beyond happy. They gave back my quality of life. To often as women we just deal and cross our legs and carry on. No more thanks to this appointment.

Dr Johnson Tsui told husband he doesnt need a vasectomy and tells my husband to go home and talk to me. So if you need a vasectomy, this is not the doctor to go to. Dr. Johnson wants my husband to have more children that we cant afford.

Well, the visit to the urologist Dr. Biggs costed me “an arm and a leg”. I was charged 347 $ for an office visit, that includes catheterisation for a sterile urine sample (which was a total surprise for me, since doctor forgot to tell me what she was about to do). Then, my urine was send to the pathology lab where Dr. S. Wain did urine cytology (which was normal by the way) and then to make more money she additionally did a f***😡biopsy (yes, from the centrifuged urine cells) and charged me 238 $ for her pathology... the total visit to the urologist for me was 585 $!!!!! Can I prove that unnecessary servises were provided without even notifying me? Nope! Never ever... stay away people! They will literally take everything they can...

Awful experience. I would recommend finding a Urologist somewhere else.

Have been there twice and received great care from Dr. Biggs. Staff is attentive and caring.
