I discovered Dr. Weiss through some high-risk OB/GYN forums, and Im so glad I did. He treated me for placenta previa and IUGR, providing reassurance to both me and my husband. His extensive knowledge and genuine care made a significant difference. He always took the time to ask about our lives and share a laugh when we needed it most. I requested weekly visits, and he ensured that both I and our baby girl received proper care while maintaining excellent communication with my OB/GYN. Hes truly a sweetheart, and I appreciate his dedication. But overall, the positive reviews are well-deserved and trust them and go in. Trust Dr. Weiss; he’s there for you and your pregnancy and they get you in same day if your having complications or kick counts are off when my own obgyn wouldn’t see me same day. I love Marie upfront and she goes above and beyond and so quick to get your fast answers or appts. I will definitely return, and he has a collection of adorable baby photos- truly shows they love what they do!

I had a good experience with Dr. Weiss before I gave birth to my daughter. Im giving a low rating because I gave birth end of March 2023 then in June 2024 I get a bill asking me for over $200 because apparently insurance refused to pay for the charges and now I have to. I think its unreasonable for me to get a bill over a year after services were provided especially since I had paid my balances during my visits and shortly after. Texas timely billing requires provider to bill patients within 11 months of providing services and it was well beyond that.

Yesterday was my 2nd appointment with him and I never have any complaints. I always leave knowing my babys ok and any questions I have he answers. Hes a really caring docter, and I dont understand where these negative reviews are coming from . Im glad my OBGYN recommend him to me. Hes great!!

Dr. Weiss has been amazing and is also so considerate and thoughtful. He has excellent bedside manner and always throughly answers my questions as well as follows up and calls me directly when I have had questions about medications and dosages. Highly recommend him and his entire team.

I was referred to Dr. Weiss by my OB and each visit has always been wonderful and informative. Dr. Weiss always answers our questions and takes the time to describe what we are seeing on the ultrasound. He also has a wonderfully dry sense of humor which my husband and I greatly appreciate!

Saw Dr. Weiss after a referral from my OB due to not being able to see all of my baby’s anatomy at the anatomy scan. The doctor was kind and made me feel comfortable. The front desk was also nice. Process was quick and easy.

Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Weiss explained everything he saw during our visit. My husband and i were very comfortable. Thank you Dr. Weiss and team!

My first experience here was great (with the front desk) until I met the Doctor. My little girl did not want to show her face, so he made the rude comment saying “it’s moms fault she did not get seen sooner” Completely blaming me for not being able to be seen by an OB sooner than I was when they couldn’t even get me in for an entire month. I found out I was pregnant at 13 weeks. And couldn’t get into an OB until I was 24 weeks. The rudest doctor I’ve ever had. Like it’s not easy getting into appointments like it used to be.

Dr. Weiss and his staff were a huge blessing in my journey! Dr. Weiss was professional, knowledgable, and ensured that not only was the baby healthy but I was as well. His team went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Since I had a rocky start being late diagnosed with diabetes, I was put at ease on how quickly his team got my health in control. Because of his expertise and care, I was able to deliver a healthy baby and had a quick delivery process and healing time. I cant thank him or his team enough!

Saw Dr. Weiss for my high risk pregnancy then was really glad to be under his care because I was diagnosed with GD and he took excellent care of me and we worked to get my numbers under control. He was very professional and knowledgable and his staff were great! I’m very grateful to have been under his care.

I had an absolute horrible experience. Found out in the most cold non-compassionate way that the fetus was not going to survive. This doctor, had no empathy and was just cold and did not care, then just walked right out with a look on his face like he’s just off to the next patient. His medical assistant then came in and sternly stated that I needed to move out of the room for another patient’s appointment. I had to hurry up, and suck up the sadness, dry my eyes, and leave. It was a horrible experience for me.

I dont remember the last time a doctor made me feel so infantilized. He treated me like every wrong thing that could happen in my pregnancy would be completely my fault. I have been sick since I was a child, I knew I would have complicated, high-risk pregnancies, but this mans words and treatment made me it seem like I was purposely trying to have a difficult pregnancy and harm my baby. He said people like me dont make it past their 50s. Absolutely no tact in his words. I came to the U.S. less than 3 years ago and am just getting to understand a lot of things about Healthcare here. I let him know thats why I hadnt had the control that maybe he expected. But he even questioned that, telling me I didnt sound like I wasnt from the states. He then told me he would call my next specialist, an endocrinologist, before I could even meet him to give him a briefing of my case. He told that endocrinologist his version of the kind of patient I was. I found out later by the nurse of that endocrinologist that he basically called to say that I was a non-cooperating patient. He only saw me twice in 30 days. How do you even come to those conclusions about a patient in 2 appointments? I seriously cant believe that I had to pay for that torture. I left the second appointment crying in a crisis and couldnt even drive before calming down. I decided to find a different MFM and wished I had read the reviews before. They should make a zero stars option for this kind of case.

As a young mother and new to everything I really wanted a Dr. to be compassionate and not insensitive this is already a kind of scary yet new learning experience for me I went to one of my appointments my original OB referred me to Dr. Weiss he came off very passive aggressive and insensitive about the news he gave me and almost made it feel like it was my fault when stating his opinion no one asked for . Stating I’m too young to be thinking about having kids that in his words “Were you planning to have kids ?” he said “were you having sex ? Unprotected? Okay well you were planning to have this child” as if I’m not grown and don’t know how babies are made almost scolded me about me having a kid at my age. Then stated his opinion again (you should really sit down and think when you want to have kids you’re only 20) as if I asked ?? He then delivered some heart breaking news very passive aggressively stating he 100% thinks I need to have an abortion due to my baby having some health issues recommending me to go to New Mexico or Colorado left his office in literal tears cried all the way back home this Dr. gave me absolutely no hope if there isn’t (which I’m going to see another doctor for a second thought) then he shouldn’t come off so insensitive and be little me for my choices, this is already heartbreaking news I’m receiving..wouldn’t recommend this Dr. to my worst enemy as others had said on here .

I had a high risk pregnancy at age 42 with mo/di twins. My appointments were always thorough and efficient. It’s an intimate office and was never full. I never waited more than a few minutes to be shown into a room. It took a bit for me to get Dr. Weiss . His bedside manner can be a bit dry but if you open up and chat with him, he is so nice and personal. I like that he gets down to business and was honest with me. He is known for being an expert in his field and he was spot on for everything regarding my pregnancy. I was almost worried that my appointments were going too well. A++++ for Dr Weiss.

My experience with Dr. Weiss was really good. He was humble through out the session and things went really smooth

Very unprofessional and passive aggressive. Mention rude unnecessary comments/ remarks on my sisters pregnancy saying to think about when to have kids and my sister mentioning it was unexpected and saying inappropriate comments such you planned the baby after sharing heartbreaking news to her. His opinion was not needed after hearing such news. Do not recommend going to this doctor at all. Please look for a doctor who cares for their patients and emotions.

Lack of compassion and overall just unpleasant. He determined I had not truly ruptured my membrane (whatever that means) after I specifically asked him, which of my twins had ruptured. He made me sit in that hospital until I became septic and ended up losing both of my babies. Offered no explanation to any of my questions and told me “We’ll just take what we can get.”I am a healthcare professional, I ask questions and I seek clarity and understanding. He offered none of that, he essentially made it seem I was bothering him. Asked to see him in the hospital and he never showed. I had to talk to him on the phone and again he was rude and abrupt. I wouldn’t want my worse enemy to be treated by this man.

I was referred to this practice through my OB. Dr Weiss and his office staff were amazing! I felt very at ease throughout my pregnancy knowing I had a caring provider with a lot of knowledge. Every appointment Dr Weiss was patient with me and my husband she took his time to explain and answer any questions we had. Thanks to him and my OB, I have a healthy baby girl.

I went Into this location on a referral basis from my regular doctor who i love by the way! However my experience with this office was not up to my expectations when i arrived i waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes for an appointment pre scheduled doing paper work i finally get called to the back by some woman who comes and ask for me she does not greet me she does not provide her name until i stop and ask her “ok and what is your name” she replied annoyingly VICKY i didnt Think too much into it as some people are just rude so i stated i needed to go to the restroom and she began to get frustrated as I’m 7 months pregnant coming here for a second option for my gestational diabetes i definitely didn’t need nor deserve her attitude after i go To to the restroom i come into a room setup for the ultra sound she places a towel over my stomach and states she will be back well after laying there for over 15 minutes She never returned instead dr weiss comes in greets himself very pleasant and we begin to proceed with the ultra sound he reassured me everything looked great provided some additional information which was much appreciated that was Jan 27th my follow up appointment was expected to be after i spoke with an educational specialist for my pregnancy once i done that dr weiss office called in scheduled a follow up appointment i never received any appointment reminders texts or calls instead the day of the supposed appointment which was yesterday 2/14/22 i get a rude call at 3:13 stating i missed my appointment at 2:45 and they assumed i wasnt Coming i asked well who is this I’m speaking with she stated VICKY i asked her if she was doing ok and she huffed and puffed and stated just waiting for the day to be over VICKY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL very RUDE and not pleasant to speak with at all after i speak with my doctor i dont plan on returning to this office for care until they get better people with loving hearts to help patients in need VICKY needs to reevaluate her career choice if she is that frustrated every encounter with human beings!!!

Our experience with Dr Weiss and his entire staff was wonderful today. Kind and supportive start to finish and they always answer the phone! He was so clear and communicative but patient and compassionate. And the CVS test was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Accompanied my daughter to her appointment. It started off terrible just by walking up to the front desk. Front desk clerk was rude and acted put out that my daughter sign in.Dr. Weiss has little to no bedside manner. Scolded my daughter and made her feel very uncomfortable. My daughter was sent by her OB and was already concerned. We left even more concerned by the word he kept using as diagnosis and honestly have no more information after the visit than when we walked in the door.The check out clerk was just as rude as the front desk. Did not explain any charges/insurance with my daughter and rudely looked at the chart, told the amount and said swipe or enter your card. I had stepped out and when my daughter got to the lobby she was in tears. I ended up calling the office to ask what she was actually billed for.I have worked in medical offices in the past for many years and I can say I have NEVER seen staff and physician treat patients the way my daughter was treated. I would not recommend Dr. Weiss to my worst enemy.

07/25:2024 2pm cst. Worst front desk employee I have ever seen in my entire life . She is so rude. She spoke to us as if she paying for all my medical expenses .

Dr. Weiss was awesome during the time I had to visit him. Which it was back in Oct 2021 to Feb 2021 referred by my OB. During that time he was amazing. He explained everything that I had questions for about my baby. Even when I had to go into delivery early, I loved the fact he showed compassion and comfort to me when I was crying in his office. Each visit that I had was great and everyone in the office was nice and amazing. If I could I would give Dr. Weiss more than 5 stars because he definitely deserves it.

Have had nothing but great experiences with both Dr. Weiss and his staff! He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I am really grateful for my OBs referral!

As parents with a kid already and no one to watch them, I had to stay in the car with our child while my wife did the appointment alone. Another lady came in with a child that she was unable to find someone to watch and she was forced to reschedule. Extremely rude staff.

Dr. Weiss and his staff provided exceptional care.Wait time was no more than 5-10 minutes at every appointment.Dr. Weiss was very knowledgeable and informative, he kept me at ease during my entire pregnancy and even checked on us after I delivered.I highly recommend this office!

He was vey calm and knew what he was doing. He is very straightforward about what is going on in my pregnancy which I love because pregnancy is something to be taken very seriously and due to it being high risk even more so. He cares about making sure you going through your pregnancy without complications. He is very knowledgeable so he knows what’s best for you and your little one 🤱🏻If you want someone to really help you he is the best .

I had a bad first visit with Joseph and since then have not returned. My husband and I were left in the room waiting for Dr. Weiss at least 30 minutes after our ultrasound tech had seen us. When Dr. Weiss came into the room he did not appologize for the wait instead he seemed annoyed that we had left the door open. Cons: horrible bed side manners. He interrupted me alot, told me I was wrong and my Rhuemotolgist was wrong, made me cry and left a terrible impression on us. He was definitely a Dr. who thought he knew it all and came off as such. His deliverance was harsh and caused us to feel panic on something that was out of our control.Pros: nothing that I can rememberI would not recommend this Dr for any high risk pregnancies, the last person you want is a Dr. who has no empathy for his patient.

My wife and I both had one of the most difficult days of our lives yesterday. The pregnancy has been a major series of ups and downs with a lot of unexpected bumps along the way. We were referred to Dr. Weiss because of his specialty in our situation.He could not have been a more compassionate man. He looked us in the eyes the entire time, he took the time to explain in great detail what we were going thru, and he showed he truly cared.My wife and I both work in healthcare and realize how rare it is to find a doctor like him.

I went to Dr Weiss by referral from my doctor on August 9th and the care was amazing.The Dr. was super nice and the attention of his staff was very good. Recommended!!

Very knowledgeable Doctor, fully trust him. I have had 2 high risk pregnancies and had to see him very frequently both times, he has an optimistic approach which I appreciate.

Great experience! We were on a time sensitive schedule and the office was extremely accommodating. The doctor spent all the time we wanted explaining and answering questions. It is always great to have the rare combination of knowledge, experience and compassion.

The Dr. seems knowledgeable and cordial. His staff mostly (medical assistant Vicky) is not kind and seems to hate her job. She ruined my light colored slacks with blood. She wouldnt give me a band-aide after my amniocentesis.

I just love Dr weiss. From the very beginning he was very informative and professional. As my twin specialist i would definitely recommend him to others. I never had a bad experience with him. The staff is also very warm and welcoming.

He has terrible bed side manner! He was giving me very devastating news about my unborn child. He never even looked up from his computer the entire time. I was all alone and left his office in tears and so confused with no comfort or understanding about what was going on.

Love Dr. Weiss! He answered every question we had and explained everything before he did it. Highly recommend him!! He’ll take good care of you and baby!

I had a high risk pregnancy and was seen by Dr.Weiss once a month. He never explained things well so I had to ask questions but over all a great doctor!

Dr Weiss is absolutely amazing!We were in a stressful situation and thanks to him everything is so much better!Very professional!

Dr. Weiss seems to be knowledgeable but has terrible bedside manners when you disagree with him on a topic. I have since switched providers and wont be back.

He is a wonderful doctor. Very patient and timely. I dont think we had to wait more than 15mins for each 2 week session.

Dr Weiss was a wonderful support through my high risk pregnancy and I have a beautiful daughter now.
