Dr.Prewitt and every other woman in this office are seriously incredible. I have never met a doctor with such amazing bedside manner. Everyone did an amazing job of making sure I felt comfortable and safe. As well as being available at any point and time to make sure I received the best care possible. I could not recommend them more.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Prewitt and I appreciate her direct and compassionate manner. The office is very accommodating to busy schedules and has everything you need for medical and med-spa needs.

I have to call and call to get help, to schedule an appointment. They take extended lunches with short hours and cater to the medspa. I have been calling for nearly a week to reschedule an upcoming appointment. I write this review because this is not an isolated incident. I have loved having Dr. Maryann as a gyno, but the office staff is horrible, unorganized, and constantly changing.

Dr. Maryann Prewitt has been my gynecologist for over 13 years. She has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced in a doctor. Her knowledge about hormones, sexual health, how to look and stay fit in every stage of life for both men and women surpasses any gynecologist I have ever been around. I refer her to all my friends and family.

Individualized care and follow up. Has taken care of my medical needs past 7 years. She is a wonderful care giver. I want to be more specific about the care and treatments provided by Dr. Prewett. I have had a surgery that she successfully completed with no complications and took care of the problem. She did what the two previous doctors were not able to do. After a year of steroid shots and proposed back surgery I visited Dr Prewett and she suggested I try one of her machines. After 4 treatments I have been pain free and mobile for the past 24 months. Three specialist were not able to help me.Even when not under Dr Prewett care she has called me to monitor my condition and offer her help. That is unheard of now days.I trust Dr Prewett. She has helped me when others have failed. She has my respect and I am glad she is my physician

I’ve seen this Dr. twice and both times were for annual wellness visits. (4 years apart)My first visit 4 years ago: I didn’t like the Dr.’s approach, (instead of talking about gyno stuff, she told me although she doesn’t need or get botox, I needed a whole lot of it. And a whole lot more stuff.) I felt like she was trying to sell me and didn’t think she did it smoothly.I still went back to her 4 years later because of the convenient location for me and because I knew my insurance covered her. (I also like anywhere I can schedule online.) Plus, I like straightforward drs and am not offended easily.This time I had some questions about my hormones; I felt like she took extra time with me and looked at labs from another office. (She got an extra star for looking at labs from another office.) I believe she saw this as an opportunity to push her supplements and/or thyroid pellets, Botox, vampire facials… anything she could on me… even though this was a wellness visit. She wanted me to do more labs with her. So I did more research and saw a lot of people have similar experiences. And decided to save myself future headaches and go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about Maryann and her team. I have been a faithful patient for over 10 years. She has been amazing time after time. I can not image going anywhere else. I recommend her to anyone that asks. She is professional and kind, and listens to me. If i could talk to everyone that is looking for a new dr in this area, i would recommend her hands down.

Dr. Prewitt has helped me so much! When I first came to her 5 years ago I had an inflamed thyroid (goiter) and was taking 7-9 pain meds a day. I went to 4 other doctors prior to seeing her and they all wanted to deaden my thyroid with radioactive treatment or cut it out. She took an extensive blood panel and was able to give me supplements to support my health. Within 2 days I no longer had pain and by 2 weeks my goiter was back to normal. Due to my success I told my husband about her. He started to see her for hormone pellets and under her care he began to make his own testosterone again. He feels better at 40 than he felt at 30!Recently I started to feel off. I went to Dr. Prewitt and it turned out I’m peri menopausal. I started taking hormone pellets and have continued the recommended supplements and exercise Dr. Prewitt advised. I feel so much better. I can finally sleep again.Dr. Prewitt is truly a blessing. She is straightforward and is very up to date on the recent studies and trends for holistic health. My husband and I think she is great!

Visit went really well, I drove 4 hours in but couldnt get what I needed done due to no fault of their own, staff was wonderful as well as Dr Prewitt. When I get enough I will be back

DO NOT RECOMMEND- After going here for 2 years I can say i have never had a doctor this unprofessional. I would get tests done and then not receive a follow up with results. I would wait and then call the office to check to see if they had anything to only find out they had just been sitting on the results for an additional week past the time frame they gave me. When I was in the office, Maryann would only talk to me for about 30seconds and then would just chat with the nurse about a new weight loss pill. If I asked a question, the tone of her response was very condescending. I once asked for more information and was told to look it up. Safe to say I will not be returning and have already found a doctor where I have had a night-to-day difference and have received attentive care unlike what I experienced at Maryann Prewitts office

I found Health Wellness MD by word of mouth, which is the best advertisement. I always appreciate the personal touch and support that Dr. Prewitt gives. Her knowledge of bio-identical hormones has been a life changer for my husband and me. She and the staff at Health Wellness MDs genuine interest in my health and welfare make me feel well cared for. The office is cheerful and elegant as well as located in an excellent location for shopping. I would highly recommend Health and Wellness MD to everyone!

Dr Maryann Prewitt has been my physician for close to 10 years. Shes been generous and most of all, genuine, and caring. She takes an interest in her patients with a focus on prevention, of course best health and maintaining a youthful outlook on ageing gracefully. I love her, and highly recommend her.

Dr. Prewitt is amazing! I would find it very difficult to believe that anyone in her office was rude as she does not and would not tolerate that! I moved to TX 2 yrs ago and she has been not only welcoming but sort of like a counselor when needed! She takes extra time with her patients and when I was going through a difficult time she made time to see me and explain in detail what I needed to know. Her nurses and front office staff literally made a spot for me and made me feel comfortable speaking about my fertility issues. Dr. Prewitt is a woman who is empowering and reminds us that beauty begins inside of us. So would I recommend her? ABSOLUTELY but I dont like to share :-) In all seriousness, you will NOT find another Dr. in DFW that cares so deeply about her patients and about her job. Please check the office out, you will not be disappointed.

Really good experience there! Dr Prewitt is super knowledgeable and caring. She’s up on the latest science and treatments. Lauren, the tech, is both sweet and professional, and always does a terrific job! I would recommend HealthWellnessMD to anyone!

I also normally don’t post reviews, but the lack of a) professionalism and b) outcome when it came to Botox treatment was surprising. I was mislead on the price twice—so shame on me. I am confident this violates the good faith estimate clause. I had to come back for a touch up after each treatment. I was charged over $200 for my second touch up (after spending almost $900) because “it’s not her fault my muscles are too strong.” My touch up was painful—been doing this long enough to know it’s not supposed to hurt. Staff turnover says a lot. I only agreed to go back because of Lauren Rinck’s work, whom I thought I was seeing. I scheduled with her yesterday. Today I found she is “no longer with HealthWellnessMD.” Moving forward neither is my business.

I visited this office once like three years ago and never went back. Like many others, I also experienced poor bedside manner from Dr. Prewitt. The first interaction with her was her introducing herself and looking over my paperwork, only to very coldly remark that I had left “obese” unchecked. I’m not saying it wasn’t true, just that it didn’t feel great being pointed out in the way that it was, especially since going to the lady doctor is a very vulnerable and uncomfortable experience to begin with and you want to feel at ease with your doctor and like you can trust them. Secondly, I went in because of some sensitive concerns/pains and was brushed aside very quickly. I was in and out in like 10-15 minutes once I was called back. I didn’t feel helped, nor valued as a potential returning patient/customer, so I took my patronage elsewhere. Also I still get their emails years later.

My experience with Dr. Prewitt was quite positive. After reading some of the other reviews Im shocked that people think shes only in it for the money, that she rushes you or is rude. Personally, I didnt find her rude at all but I couldnt care less if my doctor is rude, all I care about is if they use analytical and quantitative thinking and are up to date with my most recent technologies and are actual scientists, which I believe she is after speaking to her. I was happy to hear her undergraduate degree was in biochemistry rather than some joke degree paired with pre-med. She also seemed quite interdisciplinary, which is rare to find in doctors. She knew most of the psychiatric medications I was taking, which some are fairly rare and we had a long discussion about how horrible the pharmaceutical industry is and that she only prescribes medications if she absolutely has to. She spent a long time going over my blood work with me, which I appreciate because Im a physicist and understand the chemistry involved. She told me I have hyperthyroidism but didnt prescribe any kind of medication, which I appreciate because I dont need it at this point. I like that she puts an emphasis on vitamins rather than pharmaceuticals. She also recommended a clinic for me to attend, due to another issue I have and gave me her personal cell phone number if I had any issues getting in. I have still yet to go because Im not completely convinced theyll be able to help me but I appreciate that she offered me help. I found her to be very intelligent and would definitely go back. Not only do I believe shes a good doctor, shes obviously a very good business woman. Beauty and brains.

PSA: You don’t have to buy the vitamins and supplements from her, she also points out that they’re available on Amazon. She’s trying to prevent diseases not treat them.Her bedside manner is straightforward and direct. I thoroughly enjoyed her taking the time to discuss my history prior to the pap, and post lab results.No complaints, I’m glad my doctor gives it to me straight. She gave me her personal cell number for quick communication, and called me quickly after I left the office forgetting to fill an optional prescription we discussed.I would absolutely recommend Dr. Prewitt and her staff!

I purchased mens pellet treatment on December 30, 2022 for a $400 discount as advertised in their yearly discount offer. However my credit card was charged the normal price of $1800. When I brought this to the clinics attention I was assured by them that being charge full price was a mistake and my card would be refunded the $400 discount asap. Im writing this on January 20, 2023 and Ive yet to receive the discount. Ive been a loyal patient for over 5 years and this is UNACCEPTABLE!

Dr. Maryann Prewitt is the Most Professional and Caring doctor, I have ever met. She take the time to make you feel at ease and listens very carefully to your problems & concerns and acts with her professional expertise accordingly. I have been a patient of hers for over 20 years and I have and will follow her wherever her practice is. I absolutely love her professional experience and her caring heart. Can I give a zero? My wife called for an appointment on a female issue. They scheduled a consultation for the following Friday. An hour later they called to inform her that the appointment had to be at a later time because somebody else was scheduled for this time. My wife agreed and thought everything was fine, accidents happen. At 7AM of the day of the appointment, she was sent a text message that her appointment is canceled because the doctor was not in. But an hour later, she received an email meant for somebody else that the doctor was looking forward to seeing them. She was confused, so she called them and their phone number from their website was disconnected (What?). She found a different phone number from the email communication, it went to voicemail (it was the receptionist that made her appointment). She left several voicemails for her. Nobody ever returned her phone calls. Does that sound like a doctors office one could trust their health with? Its like a back alley clinic. Very suspicious.

Dr. Prewitt believes in healing your body rather than treating symptoms. She takes the necessary steps to make sure you have the treatment needed to repair what is wrong. I feel better than I have felt in a very long time and it is thanks to her. I highly recommend a visit to see her.I have had the opportunity to have some services from the spa with Cambri and she is A-MA-ZING! I have never had any injections before and she made me feel very comfortable. She is truly an artist!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Prewitts now for about 4 years & I love her. Shes very thorough & has always shown the utmost care. The only complaint that I can say that I have is with the wait time so I suggest getting there early because more than likely you will wait at least 10-15 minutes after your appointment before youre called back to see her; however, when you do get in the room and/or her office, your concerns are addressed.

Had a wonderful experience with Cambri T,Medical Aesthetic Advisor! She was very knowledgeable listened to my concerns and suggested injectables that provided the results I desired. I love that she treated my session and her work as medical art, she stayed conservative and gave me the option to add more later. Took the extra steps to explain everything to me as well as reducing swelling. I walked away recently surprised and looking exactly how I wanted. I would highly recommend if youre considering fillers, injections, or laser treatment.

Maryanne Prewitt was insulting, rude, and generally unprofessional. I came in wanting to discuss my areas of concern but instead she fixated on areas I have absolutely no concern about. Even after I corrected her, Maryanne continued to point fixate on the wrong thing. Don’t go here. It’s apparent Maryanne is a miserable, egotistical tyrant, and that kind of negative energy permeates throughout the disorganized practice, the quality of service, and overall experience. I urge you to go elsewhere. These services are not exclusive to this office.

Dr. Prewitt is a disaster. No idea how else to phrase it. Upon first meeting her, quite a while ago now, she explained to me that she had just returned from a trip to Florida during which droves of young men told her she looked 30 years old in her bikini and couldnt stop flirting with her. Over and over, she kept stating that she looks 30 years old. It was the most cinge-worthy thing I have ever witnessed a person with an MD do. I mention this to demonstrate just how delusional she really is.This is a DOCTOR who shook my hand when it was 30 degrees outside and told me I had hypothyroidism. Much like everyone else, she also overmedicated me, but when I expressed concern, she told me at least it keeps the weight off. Which brings me to my next point. This woman, who is not particularly thin, is OBSESSED with weight. She is obsessed with her weight, she is obsessed with your weight, etc. She told me, a fit 20 something year old that I should try her fat zapping machine. Offensive. Plain and simple. And as others have mentioned, she is constantly shaking. I wonder if its because she insists on taking EIGHT thyroid pills a day. YES, SHE TAKES EIGHT.Worst bedside manner ever. She is calloused and focused on selling you her vaginal rejuvenation BS, her vitamins, and other pointless cosmetic procedures that she clearly abuses (and you can see it all over her body). The staff are also incredibly rude, just as she is. So anyway, yeah. Avoid this place where everyone makes you feel fat, ugly, and stupid. Find any other doctor. Ever.

The environment at this office is so welcoming and very comfortable. The staff are helpful and give you a sense of ease when it comes to absolutely anything. Dr. Prewitt is AMAZING, the service and care provided is top notch. I would recommend her 100x over.

Im perplexed as to some say the Dr. listens, she spends the majority of her time discussing her vitamins that she wants you to purchase. Has anyone found a less expensive substitute?Also, their staff follow suit, they do not listen. I have great insurance and NEVER pay a co-payment, the office staff advised it would be $120 for today. What is this for and I quote review your labs or treatment I inquired so which is it, review labs or treatment? She said both, no treatment given in and out in 5 minutes and $120 lighter. I called my insurance and they confirmed no copay needed, they called left a voicemail, I called and emailed, no response. Guess you have to pay that Uptown Lease somehow.....

I can start by saying that I am so very careful when choosing a healthcare provider. Dr. Prewitt came highly recommended and went out of her way to visit with me. She has been attentive to my needs as an individual for the past 4 years. Her staff has been wonderful and Dr.Prewitt has provided the best service ever as a physician. She takes her time to explain and makes sure that I understand before leaving her office. I could keep writing on how wonderful my experience has been but for now I will end with...shes a keeper!

Dr. Prewitts approach to health and overall well-being puts her light years ahead of the many physicians who simply check the box, prescribe medications without thorough diagnoses, and run their practice like an assembly line. I understand what doctors are up against and how difficult it can be to keep a practice profitable, but Dr. Prewitts drive to stay current and continually educate herself (as well as her patients), her passion to thoroughly test and analyze results, and the health of her patients is proof that there is a better way.She was recommended to us when we were looking for a doctor to help our daughter with a hormonal imbalance and I was so impressed with her comprehensive blood test and review of the data with our daughter, as well as full explanation of all the possible paths to take to correct it. Our daughter chose to go with medical grade supplements versus hormones and shes been doing great - already feeling a positive difference physically and emotionally.I should also mention that the staff has also been terrific.I was happy to see that Dr. Prewitt also offers her services for men, so I didnt hesitate to schedule an appointment for myself.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Extremely disappointed in the staff and the Doctor. They are terrible and take two and a half weeks to give results back. Never answer their phones. I am 21 years old and want more information and the Doctor spoke to someone stating that shes a millennial, you know how they are If you are young definitely dont go to this clinic, they will brush you off like they did me because of your age, The Doctor is rude and has no bedside manner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I will not be returning to Dr. Prewitts office. She completely rushed through my appointment and was not helpful in answering my questions. She made me feel uncomfortable to say the least. I had bloodwork done and ended up having an online appointment scheduled. She rescheduled without confirming my availability and she was late to the rescheduled appointment. She also tried to get me to purchase Vitamins from their website for low Vitamin D and barely told me which kind and how to get them. Completely unhelpful and didnt seem to care for the most part. She also told me I had secondary hyperthyroidism which doesnt seem accurate. Based on other reviews it seems like she has a pattern of misdiagnosing hyperthyroidism.

Dr. Prewitt and her staff are the most caring and compassionate medical group I ever met. They provided my treatments (sometimes necessarily painful) in such a friendly and kind environment I am going to miss being with them each week.

Because she is the utmost caring doctor about your health and well-being that I have ever met! Not to mention the incredible things she has accomplished degrees books etc!!! Just WOW!!!

See attached screen shots for what to expect. But I really wanted to love this place because the thought of having an all in one dr for cosmetic derm (I already had one laser treatment and intended to schedule several more), Gyn and primary is very appealing. Dr. P told me I could change one of my prescriptions to her for this convenience I just mentioned which I was thrilled about. However, when the pharmacy requested a pre-auth which is common and required on this prescription. From that point on, for two weeks no one will speak with me beyond what you see in the attached short text. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt initially but it seems this is a regular practice. I do need to say I find it ALARMING for a doctor to ignore a patient who expresses feeling unwell due to a rapid stop of prescription meds and not caring enough to even respond. Disappointed but hopefully this saves you some grief before you do as I did, switching all your doctors over.

I always feel like Dr.Prewitt really cares about my overall health and wellbeing. She is available for questions and concerns. I have sent many people to her because I know how smart she is especially with hormones and thyroid. I value her opinion on any health issue.

Dr. Prewitt has been my physician for 15 years now; but, more than that, I see her as an advocate for my longterm health and wellness. At each visit, she takes the time to sit down with you to answer questions, inquire about your physical and emotional health, and even educate you on current research as it relates to your individual concerns. She tells it like it is, in language you can understand - which is refreshing from a physician. I have never left an appointment without feeling more informed - and more positive - than when I arrived. Her new wellness clinic at Highland Park Place is unlike any office Ive ever seen. Its more than a medical office, it is a wellness experience! If you are serious about your health, Dr. Prewitt is for you.

I am a former professional athlete, former lawyer and now am a senior professional at a large financial firm in Dallas. Ive been around fitness, health and medical providers my entire life and interacted with doctors from most disciplines. I have doctors in my family as well. For anyone reading this, Maryann Prewitt is by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been in contact with on any level. Unprofessional and not the right temperament to be trusted providing procedures of the kind she is marketing herself to provide. And rude to the point of extraordinary. I am telling you, caveat emptor on this one (buyer beware). Do your own research but life is too short, and there are so many other competent doctors in the Dallas area to choose from.

WOW, I was immediately impressed with the good doctor’s personality, credentials, training and reputation. This is a vetted and unsolicited endorsement of Dr. P and the entire TEAM. They take the time to get to know you, listen and share their warmth with wonderful bedside manner. Do not see Dr. Prewitt! Worst experience Ive ever had with a gyno before. Ive seen her about 4 times now for the pure convince of her location but I am done. The way she speaks to patients and addresses concerns is completely unprofessional. She is judgmental and money hungry. She speaks down to you and wont listen when you have an issue. The gyno is already uncomfortable for the patient in general and she makes it worse. I have left uneasy each time Im in her office. Shes really rough during paps/swabs and doesnt inform you on what shes doing. She doesnt address patients by name, which feels cold and unwelcoming. She violated doctor/patient confidentially with me. (She told me about other patients diagnoses)---Im not sure she was telling me that to make me feel better but it made me feel worse. The chairs are awful and visits are unorganized. She prescribed me medicine with out asking if I had any allergies and when I tried to ask she talked over me and ignored my question. Overall I dread seeing this doctor and do not recommend. I will never be going back. I will say my only positive feedback is her staff. They are more concerned and helpful than Dr. Prewitt and probably the only reason I kept going back.

Dr. Prewitt is one of the most progressive, intelligent physicians I have ever met. When I first came in, I was low on energy and overall did not feel myself. I sought out Dr. Prewitt because I heard very good things about her. I can honestly say SHE IS THE BEST! One of my favorite sayings is, “expect to be impressed!” Dr. Prewitt does not believe in over medication her patient’s. She will address your concerns and stick by your side until you feel your very best. Dr. Prewitt is the best decision I have ever made.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They drew blood work during my annual and I was charged $2k without any notification that it would cost that much. I asked them to recode it so my insurance would accept it and they did nothing. The results from the blood work were not accurate. She told me not to get pregnant because I was sick and having issues with my thyroid. She put me on BC and told me I should NOT get pregnant. 6 months after that appointment I got pregnant. My new doctor said my thyroid and all of my numbers looked great. The baby and I are in the 3rd trimester. Dr. Prewitt scared me into thinking something what seriously wrong with me which was not the case at all & now I have to pay this huge bill that wasn’t even accurate. I think it was all a scam so I’d have to buy the vitamins she sells in the clinic.On another note, I get calls emails constantly from this dr wanting me to book my next appointment or to participate in some other service she offers at her clinic. I’ve blocked and unsubscribed each time they reach out. Some how they use a different number to contact me. At which point, will they stop calling me telling me to make an appointment. I’m not going back to this place nor would I ever recommend to anyone.When I booked my appointment back in the day, I read the reviews and they were awful but she was able to see me the quickest so I went with her. I should have gone with my gut feeling and picked somewhere else.

Dr. Prewitt and her incredible staff have given me the most amazing and attentive care each time I have been there. They truly make you feel welcomed and important. They will take the time to answer all of your questions and concerns. I especially appreciated Dr. Prewitt’s progressive attitude on getting you on the right track toward a healthier life and I would highly recommend her services.

Avoid at all costs. I went to Dr Prewitt in January 19th 2019. Took some blood tests and we scheduled an online appointment 2 weeks after, that appointment got canceled, and then we rescheduled for another week, no one canceled, however Dr Prewitt didn’t even appear for an appointment. I tried to call several times-no one replied or followed up after that. A month after I followed up on my blood results again, as I did paid for them, and finally was able to schedule and have an appointment with Dr Prewitt. It was an online appointment for 5 min, where I was told that I have a secondary hypothyroidism, and if not taken any measures soon I would become obese. She told me she is going to prescribe me some hormones for 3 months, and I need to schedule an appointment with her to meet in person. I actually was told that this online follow up appointment would be for free, but no, I paid $75. And yes, after I complained about it they did show what I signed last year in my face :) What’s the point then of on online appointment if in any case I was asked to come in person? To pay $75 twice? Nevertheless, I scheduled an appointment to meet with Dr Prewitt on the next day, but then decided to check the google reviews to see what people are saying. Thank God that we have Google, because after checking the reviews I decided not to go to her, and go straight to endocrinologist to figure out what’s happening. I took my blood results from Dr Prewitt’s office and went to UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I was told that my theroid hormone levels are completely normal and I don’t have any hypothyroidism.At least I’m happy that I caught this scam on time, and avoided paying for the treatment that I don’t even need, and that could have actually hurt me.

I had the BEST experience with Cambri T. last week. My past experiences with other aestheticians, it is always tricky getting the perfect formula for the amount of injectables needed for me, and several follow-up visits are needed. Cambri did it perfectly at the first visit, with no issues or follow-up needed. I would highly recommend for all of your injectable & filler needs! The staff was also super friendly and courteous throughout my visit. I will be going back for future treatments!

My life has been so different since starting my treatment with Dr. Prewitt. She is such a wealth of knowledge in womens health . since starting treatment with her I have more energy, clarty in thought, stamina and sex drive:). I feel like the old me again! Dr. Prewitt and her staff are very client centered and personable. Dr. Prewitt and her staff talk to you and not at you. I drive an hour for my appointments, it is well worth the drive. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Prewitt for over 5 years. When she changed locations I made it a point to stay with her. She’s more than a doctor, more than a gynecologist. As a female P.O.C. It can be frustrating in any attempt to be heard. She takes the time to get to know you and allows you to voice your concern and follows up with action. As well as follow up appointments regarding your concern. They’re always willing to work with you. The nurses are just as amazing. They’re always on all 10 toes and ready to assist in anyway they can. They never make me feel like I’m annoying them or that they’re too busy to be bothered, they’re always willing to help.As long as I’m in the DFW I will always be a patient here.

Waited a month to get in to have my IUD exchanged, mostly waiting on the pharmacy to ship the device. My second appointment was rescheduled from a Friday to that Saturday on the Thursday before, but I was thankful to finally get it!I am a single mom, with no one to look after my kids outside of normal daycare hours. So the morning of my Sat. appointment, I left my 10 year old at home and brought my 5 year old with me, figuring my oldest would be okay at home but my youngest was too young. It wasnt until 45 minutes after I got there that they decided to tell me that they have a strict no kids in the back policy. I explained I had no other option, and that I had to reschedule a few times and had taken off of work those times, basically just inconvenienced through this whole process in general, just to end up coming on a Saturday with no other option but to bring my youngest with me. Mind you, he is very well behaved, had his tablet with cartoons playing, and I even asked if he could sit outside the door while the procedure was performed and I was told no. At this point, I asked for my IUD and my $314 to be refunded ($314 with insurance, and I wasnt even told until I arrived that I had to pay all $314 up front) since no other option was offered to me.As I sat in the lobby waiting for the IUD to be brought out, Dr. Prewitt came out to mention to me that my first appointment was rescheduled because the IUD had not come in yet. Not that I had accused her of being the reason, but apparently she was upset that I mentioned not being able to take more time off of work. Im not really sure what her point was, but I thought it was very unprofessional, especially considering others were in the lobby overhearing the reason for my medical visit. One woman in the lobby noticed Dr. Prewitts rudeness and mentioned this was her first visit as well and she recommended another doctor to me.I cant say anything about Dr. Prewitts doctoring ability, but my first impression of her was enough to keep me from going back. I would rather not have to take my kid with me to the Dr., but its a WOMENS HEALTH practice and I have never been turned away from a doctors appointment (especially after 45 minutes of waiting) for having them with me. My then 5 year old was in the office with me when I had the first one inserted. I guess single moms dont deserve birth control or should leave their children at home unsupervised -_-

She is rude and crude. Attitude is terrible. She is an alright doctor. Her staff is great. However, the doctors bed side manner and patient service is severely lacking. I wont go into to details. However, I will never go back. And I dont recommend her to anyone either.

I went in last June for an annual exam. I was new to Dallas and she was covered under my insurance. I explained to her Id been feeling slightly sluggish so she said I should do blood work to see whats going on, that makes sense, so we did it. I come back a week later for the results (which I have to pay an office visit fee to get) and she tells me I have thyroid disease and will have it the rest of my life. She diagnosed me with hypo thyroid and started me on meds, as well as her ADK I see other people have commented on. I go back three months later (September) for a follow up on blood work. When I go back for the results she asked me if I was taking the thyroid meds more than once a day, and I told her no. Looking back, this should have been a red flag. But then she went on to say it all looked good and unless I started feeling bad I didnt need to come back until June for my next annual.Fast forward to March, when I go to my new GP for a physical. After blood work results are back she calls to tell me that I am now hyper thyroid. Dr. Prewitt had me insanely over medicated. A month later and a lower dose of meds and my levels are even worse. We are going one more month on a half dose to see if there is an improvement and then I have to go in for an ultrasound to see if there are more issues. When sharing my original blood work results from Dr. Prewitt with my new doctor, I was told I probably shouldnt have ever been put on meds, as my level was within the normal range.Moral of the story, I should have gotten a second opinion, but I was naive and thought I could trust my doctor. I will never go back to her.

Outstanding experience! I moved to Dallas two years ago and met Mancy. The Med Spa’s I’ve experienced hang a plaque that claims to have a medical director but the doctor is never on site. I dont feel comfortable or safe under those conditions and walk out. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Prewitt and Mancy for a C02 laser and collagen treatments. I’ve lived in Europe and Florida and have never found any med spa-like Dr. Prewitts. I’m 54 and the C02 laser exceeded my expectations. I’ve noticed a difference with the collagen treatments also. For the first time in my life, I have flawless skin. My fine lines around my eyes and lips look smoother and I feel beautiful from the inside out. It’s boosted my confidence and I don’t need full coverage foundation anymore. Dr. Prewitt has invested in the highest quality machines on the market to meet her clients expectations. A lot of meds spas have outdated lasers. Mancy is one of the best on the planet! She understands my skin concerns and has never failed to meet my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Prewitt and Mancy! It was easy to find. The clinicistss were very friendly at the registration desk. Dr. MaryAnne is a sweetheart as well as a professional who was really concerned about my needs. She went above what I told her initially and really asked probing questiins that jumped straight to what I needed in the now and what I may need in the future to help me achieve feminine health goals. I will definitely be using her again.

I went to Cambri for fillers. She is GREAT! She explained the process and walked through every step as she did my fillers. She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. She fills the time with conversation while making sure you remain comfortable. Very satisfied with the outcome! Highly recommend Cambri!

Today makes 2 appointments in a row that my wife has showed up for a procedure or appointment and been stood up by the doctor. The first time was about 6 months ago, my wife got an appointment confirmation email, drove all the way downtown, and then was told by a rude receptionist that their appointment software was not working and the doctor was not in the office. Yet she received a confirmation email. Sent my wife away. Today, she showed up for a pre-scheduled medical procedure, and was told the doctor had an emergency and was not in the office. NO CALL, no heads up, my wife takes off work (which costs our family income), drives 45 minutes, and is told there is no doctor. We will not be rescheduling with Dr. Prewitt again.

Dr Prewitt and Staff are truly top notch. They keep me looking and feeling my age appropriate 🤣 best! Dr Prewitt does extensive additional training to be on the cutting edge of my healthy aging journey. I really appreciate them.

Abrasive, entitled, swindler, crooked, and money-hungry. I visited Dr. Maryann Prewitt for a simple blood test- nothing more. Ive spent over $450 for this very simple test, made countless phone calls and left 4+ voicemails over the past month trying to get to the bottom of these ridiculous expenses. Once I finally got passed through to her she blamed the billing on my insurance company (my insurance company has done nothing wrong). I simply told her that I came to see her for a blood test and did not want, or need, to be sold on any of her devices/gimmicks, after she tried to sell me on all types of hormone supplements (Im a 28 year old male who works out daily and have done so since my high school years).If you want an honest, impartial, and decent doctors opinion or diagnosis...do not see this woman.

AVOID - This office was extremely unprofessional and Dr. Prewitt is not attentive to each patients individual needs. Without asking questions about my symptoms, she accused me of having a thyroid issue so that I would get blood work done and I would have to make another appointment to get my results from her whether the results were ok or not (and pay for an office visit as well). The assistants doing my blood work engaged in a side conversation throughout all of my blood work and did not speak to me whatsoever aside from one: whats your birthday? question. All of my lab work was charged out of network and I now have a $500 bill for routine blood tests. Going out of network or potentially having a large bill from getting bloodwork done was not discussed with me and I have not had to pay this much anywhere else for a blood test. I decided I will not be going back after she ate her morning snack while asking me if I needed any prescriptions. The receptionist let me know that I will not be allowed to come back again if I dont schedule and attend an office visit to get my blood work from her office. According to the receptionist, It was not acceptable at this office to ask if I could be called to know if my blood test warranted a followup appointment before scheduling an office visit that would cost me an extra $115. I asked if I could have it sent to my GP to review and I had them fill out the paperwork and request it, but they still havent sent it. I guess I will take this as a very expensive lesson to always check reviews before choosing a doctor. I can not speak to the aesthetic treatments that are highly advertised in this office, but I would not recommend this office to anyone wanting a well woman visit. This office is horribly unprofessional.

I’m so happy to have found Dr. Prewitt. She has made a huge difference in my health where other doctors could not. Then, there is the Spa side that I love with Lisa Marie making me look as good as Dr. Prewitt makes me feel. It’s a red-headed power punch!

I ignored the bad reviews and I should have listened to them. She completely botched my IUD insertion and its one of the most painful experiences Ive had. She didnt care and even made fun of me saying get Xanax or something next time.... Do NOT go here! She is not a good doc!

***Warning** Went for a annual gyno apt for birth control refill mainly... she suggested she could do all the blood work from an annual physical as well. I was surprised as I thoguht it was only a gyno appointment. She made no mention she would test for above and beyond what the general blood panel is. No health history or questions were asked. I had to pay another copay just to get my results, this was the first red flag, but I agreeed anyways. Went for the “follow up” which was a long rambling explanation on why she’s the best doctor and a sketch of chemistry all over my results with a lot of red circles. I was told I had a low thyroid function and prescribed a heavy dose. And also told I was anemic on many different vitamins, why she sold me for $120. I was convinced I had all these issues. I took my medicine and googled my lab results, realized I was actually normal for most things she said I was “low” So I read other reviews here of people with similar stories. I went to Dr. Herbst at Baylor, an endocrinologist and brought all my results. She said I was not actually low on all those results, not even my thyroid! And now my lab results show I’m highly over medicated. I don’t like to post bad reviews but this is a WARNING Maryanne Prewitt should stick to selling Botox not falset diagnosing thyroid disorders. It is unethical and should be reported!

Stay away at all costs. She is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life, and I have seen a lot of doctors. I went in with severe lower abdominal pain and after a sonogram it was found out that I had an insanely large cyst that has ruptured. Proper protocol after a large cyst rupture is surgery to drain the free fluid that causes the pain. She did not do that, only after months of excruciating pain and a trip to the ER did I figure this out.This pain came back again so I went to get checked out again, another sonogram and she says “well it’s a small cyst, and already ruptured which is a bummer because that means I don’t get to do surgery!” What kind of doctor is upset about NOT having to give a patient a surgery!Please stay away from her. She will run way too many tests, tell you you have things you don’t, and the things you do have she won’t treat.Don’t be fooled by the nice looking office. Find an actual professional.

Went to get my electrolysis done with Mancy. She always does an amazing job! Had some pesky hairs on my chin and she zapped them right off. Her office is clean and comfortable and she’s gentle and meticulous. She is the BEST!

At first I wasnt going to say anything but this Doctor needs her license taken away. She diagnosed me with the same thyroid disease as the ladies on here have stated but didnt not offer any plan or action . Also said I had a b6 dificiency and offered me to purchase vitamins at the office, no. Thats not really my problem I have. I called and asked for my medical records to be sent to ME, the patient, but I would be charged 25$, ok cool. Initially when I payed the 30$ to go and get my lab results, I asked for them. The Dr. assure me that they came with this packet I have gotten. She also diagnosed me with an sti which was a huge shocker and was supposed to test to see if my results came back negative. WELL SHE KNEW NOTHING OF AND SHE WAS TRYING TO HURRY ME OUT WITHOUT RVEN DOING A TEST OF CURE. Never in my life have I felt so confused and hurt. My partner did get a test preformed else where and he had nothing. I believe shes really false diagnosing because of money, which is a cheap way to run a business and provide care for the patients. Took almost a month to get my results back and it was sent via email, vaguely saying my results were negative. DONT GO HERE.

Dr. Prewitt is very unprofessional and rather interested in selling you beauty treatments instead of explaining test results properly. There was no empathy either. The staff was very kind though.

Horrible. Never finished my treatment plan (only 4 of 6) because of inept management. Never returned my calls, texts, or e-mails, which messed the plan up. Had to dispute the charge on my credit card which is still going on (and the bank can only dispute the treatments I did not receive).Spend your money elsewhere, this was robbery. Thousands of dollars gone, and I got no results.

She ordered blood work, then diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and put me on medication. My resting heart rate got up to 160, which prompted me to seek an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist reviewed by blood work that Dr. Prewitt ordered and said that there is nothing wrong with my thyroid. She had more blood work done, and my levels showed hyperthyroidism. Dr. Prewitts negligence could have hurt me.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The doctor told me I had a serious medical issue, sent me in for stat blood work every 72 hours, and then didnt respond to my phone calls for 2 weeks. I had no idea what was wrong with me or my baby. The staff was rude and condescending. I ended up going to a different doctor for help. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this doctor or this office.

You wont find a better experience anywhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Prewitt and her staff for their concierge style treatment and personalized manner. I always feel like a person not a number. Best decision Ive ever made in regards to my health.

I’ve unsubscribed from this doctors mailing list several times. She’s a terrible doctor and every time I get one of her emails, I remember how much money I spent at her office for wrong billing and blood work that wasn’t needed. If you need a good GYNO Dr. Ellis is the best!

In 2015 when my daughter went for her yearly checkup everything went smoothly covered at 100 % , but for some particular reason her Jan 2016 visit was a nightmare , she had her yearly examine but received a large bill for her labs, I called continuously to the doctor office to get them to resolved the issued but was told multiple times it was something the insurance company did not cover, but keep in mind it is the exact same physical from her 2015 visit and there was no change in her insurance coverage or anything. At one time the receptionist even told me that it had something to do with the new labatory they use , how they use different procedures from the previous labatory I had to really Stop her and say that JUST DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE) ..Dr Prewitt even called me and said WE DID EVERYTHING CORRECTLY., Not to mention , I contacted both the labatory office and BCBST and was informed by both it was something the doctor office keyed incorrectly and that they needed to resubmit a correction ....... finally BCBST mobile unit came to my place of employment in July (after 6 months of trying to get this resolved) for a special project and reviewed everything again and got everything resolved for me so therefore I will be getting a refund back for $403 –There was no follow-up with me regarding the issue with the doctor office , they continue to put it on the labatory and BCBST , instead of taking the time out to really look to see that there had to be some type of error due to her being covered at 100% the following year.** Not to mention there was a charge of $75 just to get the results of her test from her physical which should have been covered because how else would you know the results of the test. You are going back to the doctor just to hear everything is ok and have to pay $75. SO yes Dr. Prewitt has definitely lost my daughter business.

I don’t even write reviews but I was so upset that I had to call the office 7 times to get my test results and literally was told someone will call me back and no one ever called me back. I spoke to three different people starting at 8am when the office opened set an appt to actually get a call back and still never got a returned call. Remind you this is on a Friday so if anything was wrong I guess I’ll have to wait until the following week to figure it out. I never did business with someone who cannot even return your call despite you speaking to numerous people all day like this just blew my mind and for sure lost my business after many years.Wow received a call from Dr Prewitt on Monday telling me that my review was unfair and then lied to me telling my results was not in until today but I spoke to several staff members on Friday who told me my results were in and even set up a phone conference on Friday to discuss them but again you called me to tell me that my review was unfair bc either your lying or your staff was lying. Wow! My mouth literally dropped bc all your worried about is a damn review and you have the audacity to call my phone about a review. You DONT ever have to worry about me being a patient there since you so call said you was discharging me before I hung up on you. So unprofessional the worst experience in my life and I will guarantee I tell others to stay away!

Literally the worst doctor out there that calls herself a “functional” doctor. Please do not waste your money with this disrespectul woman who won’t even listen to you and who after 5 mins into your appointment will tell you you have a low thyroid even before running lav tests. Don’t go here! I ignored the reviews bc my TA insurance was covering it. Only to find out the staff is rude and I constantly had to follow up after my visit. They didn’t send my prescription out on time and my insurance expired. Plus the prices are ridiculous I don’t even know why my insurance recommends this to people on a teachers salary.

Dr. did not listen to my explanation of a condition I had, jumped to conclusions, interrupted me. Later, I had a phone call appointment scheduled and she never called. I called the office and they were on lunch. Did not feel heard at all. Will not be returning.

Best patient care. Dr. Prewitt and her team are kind, very knowledgeable and attentive to my husband and my needs.

I had another great experience. Each person that I came into contact with via phone and in person was professional and courteous. Details were explained so that I could understand what to expect during my visit and for the following days/weeks.

The front desk called me at 8am to tell me because of my insurance carrier I would have to wait when I get to my 2:15 appointment while they verify. What terrible service! Why not use the 6 hours before my actual appointment to do this? Cancelled this appointment for sure.

Yes this place is nice an all but when I went in the staff was rude and the doctor didnt even ask how everything was down there. Not to mention how expensive it is for a simple pap smear even WITH insurance.
