Pine Knob Urgent Care

This urgent care is not worth the trip. I have been there a couple times, and each time they try to tell me I have COVID no matter what specific symptoms I have. They are only after the money from COVID. They also charge me each time I am there, even though they don’t do any work. I have attempted multiple times to reach the manager of this establishment, and they have refused to call me back. I will NEVER be going here again for any help as they refuse to treat anything other than giving COVID tests.

The receptionist was helpful as well as MA and the PA. Thank you again. I havent been to urgent care in many years I always wait to get into the Doctor but if Im ill I wont wait to get treated. ❤️

Id like to thank the staff for their patience and support in resolving my sickness. Everyone was very kind, taking great care of me and making sure I was as comfortable as possible. This was my first time coming here and I will be back upon necessary and I will absolutely recommend Pine Knob Urgent Care to all my family and friends!

Weve used other Urgent care clinics in Clarkston but Pine Knob Urgent Care is the best one. The staff is friendly, wait times arent to long, and Im always happy with the outcomes.

The staff was great and friendly. Couldnt get into my doctor for a appointment. Your team helped figure out the issue with my pain and helped me take care of it and even gave me exercises to help the pain in the future. Couldnt have got a better experience. Glad I didnt go to the ER. I would still be there, lol but would recommend Pine Knob Urgent to everyone.

Christian the PA was phenomenal as well as the support staff that took my vitals and cleaned out my bite wound. Professional, timely, kind, and I felt cared for. Probably the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Thank you all!

Online check-in allows patients to avoid time spent in the waiting. The staff is wonderful from the front desk and every person I interacted with through my checkout. I highly recommend this Urgent Care facility. Clean, caring and efficient.

I just moved to the area about a month ago. I was impressed with how welcoming the environment was. The nurse and doctor I had were awesome. They did the test that were needed and got me on antibiotics. They was no wait time and I was in and out within 35 minutes.

This is a hidden gem practice in Clarkston !Its almost like nobody wanted to know about the Glenn Lake in Glen Arbor Michigan but eventually everybody knew. If I could, I keep it to myself. Staff is friendly great service PAs and doctors are amazing!!!!Thank you to Lydia, who is always smiles up to her ears and all other staff ,super!!!!My back if feeling much better.

Yes! I came in with excruciating pain in my back and abdomen. The whole staff was incredible in helping me. I have to say that PA Shannon Trantham was incredible! I was in severe pain and she remained calm and very helpful. She also took the time to help me find and schedule a STAT CT scan for me. She went out of her way to help me and make sure I was taken care of. Once I had the CT scan, she followed up with me within hours. I wish all PAs had her compassion, knowledge and dedication to their patients! Thank you Shannon for your care.Brandi Forshey.

Thought everyone did an excellent job. Im happy to know you all are nearby and can provide in emergencies and assist my primary care Dr. perfectly. Beautiful nice clean building and facility. Lovely and accommodating staff personal. Already feeling night and day better with medication for my sinus infection and my voice coming back after 3-4 weeks of being gone and DayQuil and NyQuil but working and a worsening sore throat. I would like to thank all the staff especially the kind Dr. at Pine Knob Urgent care. I was very sick with flu /bronchitisFor 3 weeks in January. Finally when i couldn’t shake it I went to Pine Knob Urgent Care and got in right awayNo waiting, could make appointment on line. Dr. Prescribed antibiotics which worked. I would not hesitate to Return again if needed!

The ability to make an appointment ahead of time was extremely convenient. Also, greatly appreciated that they were right on time of scheduled appointment. In fact even early! Great job keep up the great work.

Cannot say enough about the professionalism and courtesy of the people I interacted with. Everyone was so very helpful, answered all my questions and made me feel like I was in good hands during my time of need.I would highly recommend this urgent care facility to everyone.

If I could give zero stars that would be better!!! Worst place to go. They take people who come in with emergencies who need stitches and broken or sprained or broken wrists those people are sup to go to emergency rooms, not an urgent care... you then sit in the back for over 35 min for a covid test when they are treating these so called emergencies and you get put last on the list to be seen or told your results... I was there the other day and was told if the zpak doesnt work (as my symptoms were just starting) to call back to have a steroid ordered if it went to my lungs or got worse.... which I just did that today and they told me to come back in when I was just there 2 days ago and told by the PA I seen to call and have the steroid ordered which he directly told me. Mind you Im also a Type 1 Diabetic and a Heart Attack survivor. Which they should have called it in already with no questions or orders to wait for the zpak to work my condition can get worse real quickly. If it does I will be off to the ER. I personally will never come back here not even if it was the last place on earth for an urgent care. These are also PAs not doctors. I will be contacting the state on them too for seeing emergencies that come in when they were supposed to be directed to the emergency room as those are emergencies not urgent care priorities.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great and inexpensive service. Quick visit, I went there for a couple of stitches and was in and out in about half an hour. I would definitely recommend this place!

Called with an important question about increasing my blood pressure medication and didn’t even get a call back. When I called back again, I was told to follow up with my Primary Care doctor. I can’t get in to my primary care doctor till April 4 which is why I went to the urgent care in the first place! Very frustrating and disappointing experience. One doctor can’t see me for 10 more days and the doctor who did see me can’t adjust my medication to the correct dose! What a joke our health care system is these days!

I went here for a DOT physical and I paid $95…They just sent me a bill for $130 in addition. The bill was $127 for the wellness visit and three dollars for the urine analysis I’m not paying it!

The staff is wonderful & welcoming. The doctor was very thorough. I felt well taken care of and not rushed out. Its comforting to know we have such a high quality urgent care in our community.

They made me feel at ease and comfortable the wait was not long and they were able to get me back quickly. I will definitely go back if I have any medical issues and highly recommend othered going there when they have urgent care needs.

Christian and Kyle were extremely thoughtful, answered any questions I had, and made me feel welcome and heard during a difficult time for my health. I would recommend their care any day of the week!

Twice I have gone and they prescribed an expensive drug that didn’t work. Had to go back and the new drug that worked only cost .99 not $70 or $30 dollars. They are in it for drug companies. Will never go back. Burnt twice stay away.

Service was fast and professional. I’ve brought my kids here many times, but I usually sought care at a clinic I had been using for years. The Pine Knob facility is clean and pleasant, and I will now make it my place to go when I need urgent care.

We always feel great about being seen by your office. Everyone is friendly even when it is busy. We got in and out fast. Our prescription was ready and waiting at the pharmacy. The PA was hesitant to overprescribe antibiotics which I appreciate; but also gave us an opportunity to call if it just isnt getting better and we can fill a prescription at a later time. All in all we had another great experience.

Once again my recent experience was excellent! The PA was excellent. Really took time to listen. Medical assistant was fantastic! Front desk receptionist friendly and outstanding! Efficient online appointment booking. TV screen in office telling wait times. Waiting room has one side for sick patients and another for wellness visits!! Well done. I have a primary care physician, but was out of the office. Always feel I get proper care when urgent needs arise. Great knowledge on asthma!

Great service, insane prices. Have a severe finger cut that needs to be stitched? $550. X-Ray in a sling for an arm? $923.

Recently, had 3 members of my family at urgent care. No appointment was necessary. We were able to walk in and were promptly treated. The staff were efficient, professional, and demonstrated a caring and friendly bedside demeanor. They treated our symptoms and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed prior to us leaving. They had no idea that I’m a nurse in our community. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of care they provided. I was immediately glad I chose urgent care for our needs. I would definitely recommend and use again. It’s reassuring to know they are serving our community.

I felt very heard here, the entire staff was so genuine and thorough. The staff member doing my EKG explained where every single lead was going and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The PA and assistant were phenomenal, very clear and repeated to me the instructions going forward. Their care and concern for my future health was very sincere. I have a follow up with a primary care doctor Tuesday! I honestly would not have had the confidence to make that appointment if they didnt validate my concerns about my health. THANK YOU ALL. I had the most wonderful experience at urgent Care that Ive ever had before. All the way down to the receptionist they all took really great care of me. I just went to the pine knob urgent care this morning. Friday I went to a different urgent care and didnt get nearly the attention and medication needed like I got from the pine knob urgent Care. I would recommend this urgent Care to my friends and family!!!!! Please trust in what I have said as your experience Im sure well be just as delightful as mine!!!!

I saw a PA and two assistants today and they were all fantastic! Could not be happier with Pine Knob Urgent Care.

There customer service was amazing I drove 40 minutes to go to this Location, The entire Staff was Amazing. Also the clinic was clean the wait time was Fast.

My 1st time at a Urgent care facility and it was a very pleasant, unstressful and great final outcome of repair. Everyone was very nice and Christian did an excellent job stitching me up, thanks to all involved. I hope I dont have to visit anytime soon but at least I know where to go now.

Was a horrible experience, I had an appointment I didn’t get taken back for 40 minutes then waited another 40 in a room with no assistance, ended up having to leave because I had to get my kids. When I told the lady at the front desk I had to leave because the time she just looked at me like I was the one that was crazy. I asked what’s the point of having an appointment if you have to wait an hour and a half she just looked at me

If you guys could get 0 stars that would be ideal.I brought both my kids in to be seen on 12-18-23 for headache and cough and the dr said oh just keep giving them Tylenol and didn’t test them for anything and I had to ask her to check out my other daughter, she was really about to only check one of them and I asked her to check my other daughter out too! Then I asked if she was gonna run any tests and she said there’s really no point since they don’t have a fever. Well today 12-19-23 I sent my kids to school, I get a call they’re not feeling well and to come get them. I take them straight to McLaren ER and guess what my kids tested positive for influenza A and strep so thanks so much for your “thorough” job and having me send my CONTAGIOUS kids to school. Do your jobs better please!

Ever since I found PKUC it’s been my favorite. They have always been friendly, checked every thing they could & made sure they missed nothing. I was there this passed week and had the MA Kyle, he was great. He was very attentive, brought me ice packs and very gentle when it came to testing. The doctor was phenomenal and very caring as well.However, the front desk admin is incredibly rude. No hello, no compassion. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. I thought it’s late, maybe a rough day. Called for results a few times, for different testing and each time was incredibly rude. My doctor was requesting results while I was on the office and mention how rude she was as well.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was so thankful to be able to get rid of my migraine. The medical assistant was so sweet, as soon as I entered the exam room and told him I had a migraine, he turned off the lights, closed the shade, gave me an ice pack, and some water. I was really impressed by that. The physician assistant was so compassionate as well. Plus, the girls at the front desk were so kind and compassionate as well. Thank you all for helping me yesterday.

Went in for flu-like symptoms and was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. I got swabbed for flu & Covid and had my results quickly. Whole process took less than an hour.

Minimal wait time and got the care I needed. Very satisfied. Would recommend going there when you need urgent care.

The medical staff are very helpful and professional.The billing side of things, not so much. Took 7.5 weeks to get my invoice with a due date for payment less than two weeks after the statement date. The invoice is not itemized, and if they assert that additional testing beyond the physical examination is not billed separately, that isnt true. If you want an itemized statement, you have to call and ask, then wait 3-5 business days. I would be very wary of the billing practices here, although the staff is very kind and helpful.

Being a working person who only has time to go to a doctor on weekends, their long weekend hours, both Saturday and Sunday, are EXTREMELY appreciated! The staff are very nice and helpful! This is my clinic of choice.

The staff treated me like a person and not a disease. They were courteous and professional and spoke directly to me in a conversation that was understood by both myself and my spouse who has no medical background at all. That was greatly appreciated!!! I would not hesitate to go to Pine Knob Urgent Care again in the future. The wait for service was minimal and I was out of there in a speedy fashion. All staff was extremely friendly and efficient!

It was very busy. I showed up 30 minutes early to speed up the process of paperwork. I was there 1 1/2 hours total. The male medical assistant was great and the doctor was great as well. No complaints whatsoever. However it did take the doctors office an hour to send the script in. So dont expect a quick turn around with them calling a script in. It will take about an hour or so. I guess Im used to faster turn around times. I guess to be expected without a fully staffed office perhaps. The front desk seemed a bit overwhelmed with work. Overall, long wait times with everything, but satisfied with the care provided.

Very friendly staff. Communicated ongoing about the process. Very efficient. Dr. (PA) was attentive, focused, apologized for the wait (which wasnt extreme). Did a great job stitching up the wound. I wouldn’t hesitate returning if needed.

These people really have the passion and the understanding to help patients. I have a fear of injections and typically try to take a pill approach when I get sick, the staff here worked with me to find options that would suit me for the illness I have. They were actually my 2nd urgent care today, the first was m15 urgent care and the doctor refused care aside from multiple injections and stormed out of the room when I politely told him I did not consent to injections. It was very jarring and stressful for me so my relief was monumental when the Pine Knob urgent care staff were kind and willing to help me in a way that wouldnt be fear or trauma-inducing! I 100% recommend them to anyone with health issues. Unparalleled service by wonderful people

I’ve gone to many an ER and urgent care for treatment of severe asthma attacks. Some with very unpleasant results. I made online appointment in the middle of the night to see a doctor at 9:00am. On New Year’s Eve. The registration on line was excellent. The wait time to see the doctor on a holiday was a worry that didn’t matter. The front desk people, nurse and Doctor were unbelievably kind, friendly and patient. Dr Novin spent a great deal of time, listened and had an exceptional knowledge of asthma. Finding a doctor who doesn’t treat you as a ‘statistic’ or ‘generalized’ knowledge of asthma was comforting and a wonderful surprise. This is the third time I’ve used this location. Hopefully won’t be back but if necessary- feel confident in returning!

Everyone I had contact with were very kind and compassionate, going the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. I was seen promptly, x-rayed promptly, and sent on my way in under an hour.

Alana is great!! Have seen her many times and she is always giving amazing service and is an awesome listener!! On the other hand the receptionist working during my visit seemed to not want to be there and not only did she seem to have an attitude with me but toward her fellow coworkers.

Everything about our visit was impressive, I did all the paperwork on line and they were ready for us and understood our need to be efficient and move each step along as we had a flight to catch but needed medical care beforehand, the staff was amazing and personable and caring and very professional. Two thumbs up ! Trust this place.

The accuracy of care here is touch and go. Our daughter was throwing up for 9 days and they did order nah labs, just sent us home with Zofran. Turns out she had a UTI that we caught at the ER the next day. Also, if you need a presciption filled, they will likely send it to a CVS that is not open, even though you specifically ask them to send to one that is farther away and still open. This has happened to us 2x. Leaving us to “get by” with infections until the next day.

I love Pine Knob Urgent Care. Natalia is the BEST and is super knowledgeable. Staff is very professional and prompt. I will continue to go here as long as they are here. AMAZING. Never could really say that I enjoyed a Urgent Care visit but they make it easy for me to say that I have enjoyed every visit. They honestly care, and Natalia has helped me with so many issues arraying across the board. GREAT JOB TO THE ENTIRE STAFF

This is a great urgent care. They got me in fast and did a rapid Covid test with results right away. They gave me a steroid injection promptly to help my symptoms and everyone on staff was friendly and professional. I will definitely go back here for service.

I came here to get a nose x ray after an injury. They were straight forward, friendly, and professional. The wait wasnt too long either for an urgent care. Unlike other doctor offices, I didnt have to wait in my car before I could be seen. It was a nice change of pace. I dont have any complaints at all.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and I like that your wait time and place in line are displayed. PA Bell was very through and friendly. She answered all my questions and was very reassuring! She also consulted with the other PA on staff to make sure they were giving me the best answer! Very organized and patient friendly!

I have been to Pine Knob Urgent Care on two occasions with mild symptoms, and during both visits I had the best experience I ever had at a medical institution. The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. The most amazing part was a few days after I went I received a phone call from the Urgent Care asking how my ear infection was healing! Really made me feel that they care about their patients!

The staff was super nice, had no problems on that end.I came in with my two young children, one being sick and pouring goop from his eyes. Doctor was barely in our room more than 2 seconds. Got annoyed my 2 year old son wouldn’t sit still to have his ears checked. He didn’t try to talk to him or make him comfortable at all. Just rushed us in and out. I am disappointed this place mentions being a great Pediatric urgent care YET their doctor was terrible with children.My son has seen other doctors and has never had an issue being checked out by any doctor until today. The nurses mentioned he was a PA, I never got his name because he didn’t talk to us AT ALL.Only words he said were “what’s going on today”“He’s covid negative”“Sit still”“Stop moving”“I’ll write a script for antibiotic eye drops”That’s it. It’s sad because the nurses and staff were so great and patient with my children, but I will never return all because of this PA. Or “doctor”

Horrible with giving accurate time estimates told us 3 hour wait on Friday at noon waited until 445pm still had 25 people ahead of us. Finally we left because my child couldnt handle it any longer. Came back Saturday at open was told 2 hour wait, it is now almost 3 hours and still have 7 people ahead of us. I understand its busy but get a better system on telling your patients a more accurate time of wait. Waiting with a small child for hours on end is absolutely ridiculous. Definitely will not be returning or recommending.

I waited nearly two hours to be seen, which was fine, I understand that it’s cold and flu season! The staff was friendly and I appreciated the kindness! Unfortunately, I am someone who is well aquatinted with ear infections- I knew I had one; I even have an otoscope that connects to my phone where I could see my eardrum was infected. The doctor met with me for less than 2 minutes- didn’t ask me much about my symptoms and said that it could get worse and if it does get worse to come back but in the mean time to just take some Mucinex- I will say he was so friendly. But a few days later I went to another urgent care because I knew I had an infection; the doctor there informed me I had a double ear infection and needed to start antibiotics. I’m upset because had the doctor at Pine Knob Urgent Care not rushed me out the door due to a large volume of patients and actually asked me questions and really looked at my ears he would’ve saved me money from having to pay for a babysitter, another urgent care visit, and another few days of pain. I just want people I’m paying to do their job… to do their job.

I went there yesterday sometime around four clock went check in. Front ask desk help girls sweet it super , I call yesterday I told them fell off my bike yesterday idk know happened to idk my knee Broken a bone got there l x-ray done that is all , set , dr. I just want to thank the amazing staff for being so kind. My 7 month old was so so miserable with a double ear infection (that I was unaware of at the time) and I couldn’t get her to calm down while trying to fill out paperwork. The nurse kindly asked if she could take her and soothe her by walking around the office while I filled out paperwork. They got us in and out with meds over to the pharmacy in less than an hour. I could cry thinking about how kind that nurse was. Thank you for your patience, kindness and love you showed me and my daughter.

Friendly staff, cozy office, and great doctor. They also have a screen that shows your waiting time, so there is no guessing. Im glad I stopped in.

This place is amazingly quick and courteous with their COVID testing!! I never have waited “too long” for my test results to come back and I feel comfortable going there. Their nurses are nice and good at their job. You don’t even have to get out of your car! I definitely recommend.

Been here a few time since this place opened and I feel like they set a new standard for urgent care. Everybody working always seems nice and in a good mood, and it’s always quick in and out. I even went in once 2 minutes before closing and they gladly checked out my daughter. If you ever need an urgent care, this is definitely the place to go.

Went in for an UTI 😖 Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Loved the online scheduling. The quickest appt I have ever had there!!

Stood inside the building for about 10 minutes with no one in front of me. They just looked at me for the time period. They then said we’ll be with you in a moment. More staring, and then they decided to call me up. When I stated I needed a covid test, she huffed rolled her eyes and said that’s fine, but it’s a 4 hour wait. I told her that was fine, and asked if I was able to wait in the care. She got an attitude and said yeah I guess but we aren’t going to call you, you’ll just have to keep calling us with one hell of an attitude. So I said I’ll go else where if it such a problem. Super rude. The waiting room was completely full with no where to even sit, and I understand it’s that season. But why be rude to someone who is willing to take some of the sick out of the waiting room…. Will never be returning there.

Had to take my son in today (Labor day) thankfully they were open since our pediatrician was not for obvious reasons. He had a lingering cold with some ear drainage and I knew it was an ear infection as he gets them every other cold it seems. Everyone was so nice and the MA and PA were great with our son (he’s 2.5) quick in and out maybe waited 30mins and then we were on our way! Great experience! Love that they do pediatric care. Thank you!

I am so thankful for this place. They offer a self pay rate of $75 regardless of what they do during your appointment (e.g. includes tests/medications/exam.) I have been here twice now, once while I was uninsured and once when I had out of state insurance and it has allowed me access to care that I would have been otherwise unable to afford. They provide excellent care and are very friendly. Also, even with about 6 or 7 people ahead of me, I only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen.

This is the best urgent care I have ever been to! I made an online appointment for 9:15, they got us in by 9:25 and we were done with a script called in by 9:40! I was able to pick the script up on the way home and get my daughter started on antibiotics. Thank you Pine Knob UC!

They were all super nice & quick. The facility itself is super clean & updated too. The doctor helped me a lot with figuring out what was wrong & treating me. I would definitely come back here. I would honestly rather drive the extra couple miles from my closest urgent care to go to this one instead. Thank you so much.

Wait time was a touch long but the staff was super friendly from start to finish. I have gone here a few times now for myself and my 6 year old, I always felt heard by doctors and felt we received great care. I was very glad because there are few urgent cares the accept straight Medicaid.

I have never encountered such a rude staff in my entire life. On today, 12/27/2021, I called to inquire about Covid testing and the receptionist answered the phone very rudely and snippy while I was simply inquiring on the protocol . Healthcare workers want us to be understanding because they are overworked, and I appreciate them 100%. On the flip side, they chose this profession, we didn’t choose to be sick. Patients should not have deal with terrible “bedside manner” when all we are trying to do is feel better. This is not the first time that I was made to feel this way but It’s definitely the last.

Yes, I was vacationing and got sick on the last day. Everyone was amazing, especially the PA I saw (wish I knew her name to include it), very professional, and helpful in treating me. I was able to fly back NY later that day thanks to the excellent care I received! 😊

The absolute WORST staff all the way through.Amongst dealing with the worst staff ever, we came in for 1 rapid COVID test. It took over 1hr to be seen and another hour and some odd minutes of waiting for the test results. We were told 15 minutes before the doctor came in to give me the results that they were actually ready the whole time but he was not authorized to relay the information.

Needed my finger stitched, the man in there wrapped my open finger with non adhesive gauze and I ended up having to go to the Emergency room the next day to remove the gauze.Told me to go see a hand specialist instead of actually fixing the problem and left me with more problems.If I could give this a 0 star I would.Do NOT recommend!!!

At the end of the day, people need to relax and understand that in the midst of a global pandemic places such as an urgent Care are going to be severely understaffed and overworked. The staff at pine knob urgent care for nothing short of professional kind and understanding. Even though during my visit despite it being almost 4 hours, people were being very disrespectful to the staff. That is quite absurd to see. I think the staff for having smiles on their faces, best we can tell with masks on at least, and taking care of me during this difficult time. For those of you reading this if you look outside or see the news and you see a million cases a day plan on a long wait but thats the world that we live in right now. And theyre taking it with stride and professionalism. Which during these days is nice to see.

I was in and out last Saturday morning in under an hour. I left with two scripts. Now five days later, I feel better than I have the previous 10 days! So glad I found this place. I have been to other urgent cares in my area, and waited way too long, and received terrible service. This place was great. I hope they dont lose their way. I will definitely go back when I need too! 5 stars!

What an amazing staff they have here! Very caring and very fast! My son broke his arm and we were in and out in 1 hour with X-rays and a temporary cast. We made the mistake of going to McLaren Emergency first and after almost an hour of waiting there the only thing my son received was an ice pack. We will be going to Pine Knob Urgent Care for anything we can going forward.

I heard good things about this place and I never go to urgent care but today I needed it for my daughter who had a horrible ear ache all night. So we drove a bit from home to go here. The facility was very nice and clean, the MA was super nice and great with my daughter. The doctor was too touchy-feely in my opinion. I just needed him to check her ears and he was trying to tickle her legs and picked her up to hug her after the visit. It just felt inappropriate to me. We got the prescriptions we needed and were in and out in a timely fashion, but unfortunately I probably won’t go back.

Came in with rashes, dizziness, shooting headache behind the eye and across the head, stiff neck and night sweats, a couple of weeks after I had been in bed with high fever on top of the above symptoms.Covid and flu tests were negative. I was working in landscaping, being outside all day. All this I shared with the male doctor who saw me.The symptoms seemed vague and all over the place to me, and maybe that’s how I presented them too – vaguely. Nevertheless, based on the above information, the doctor simply told me- condescendingly- that he “can’t just prescribe a blood test for headaches.” Without even a guess at a potential diagnosis, he offered me steroids instead, to which I said no.After seven months of debilitating arthritis in all my joints, a few specialist visits, a long list of blood tests and the medical bills to go with that, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease.A simple, straight forward blood test did it, but this doctor wouldn’t even look at my rashes.

Great service everyone was kind and the doctor made sure he didnt leave without answering all of my questions. The nurse made sure I was comfortable and got my questions answered as well.

I started at quality urgent care and they took forever and were extremely rude, so I left and came to Pine Knob Urgent Care. The people at Pine Knob were so friendly and got me in and out of there quickly, even with having to take xrays and everything. I highly recommend coming to Pine Knob Urgent Care!! Every person I came in contact with was extremely nice and efficient!!

Everyone there is Friendly and compassionate. I have to go there more than I go to my own doctor because nowadays it’s almost impossible to get an appointment. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PATIENT CARE IVE EVER WITNESSED!Took my sister there for an x-ray, took longer to fill out paperwork than it did to be seen by the doctor, (and I use the term doctor very loosely). She had been in before, but they said they had a new system installed so apparently they dump any information on past patients!! Doctor accused her of moving during her x-ray and then finally decided, (after looking at the x-ray a second time), that it looked like she had a hairline fracture. He said it must have been from her previous accident she had! But the accident was 9 years prior to today!!! His final determination was to go see a surgeon. So a REAL doctor would have been better in the first place! Well the following morning, my sisters ankle became dislocated and she had to be taken by ambulance the the emergency room. Waiting for another x-ray to determine what is going on! But rest assured, I have already contacted her lawyer!!!

3 hour wait time. Finally get in and they do the basic ear, nose and throat. They listen to my heart and do a covid test. They send me on my way with a doctors note for today(Saturday) with no diagnosis. They call me on way home to say I have covid and extend my doctors note to include Monday. Wow..they have no idea when I contracted this. Seems like they dont care about the safety of me or my coworkers. Never going back...

Had to take my 4 year old to get 3 stitches on his upper lip. They were so caring and compassionate and did such an amazing job with the procedure which is tough to do with a screaming toddler. Thank you so much!

Absolutely horrible, unprofessional and just plane uncompassionate. I received 2nd degree burns over much of my arm due to a cooking accident. Upon rushing to my nearest urgent care pine knob urgent care I was in excruciating pain and forced to stand and wait in line for over 20 minutes I was visably injured and visibly in pain. Upon getting to the front desk I was graced with a receptionist who could not have been more rude and heartless asking pointless questions wasting my time while Im standing there in agony she then tells me I cant be seen unless I give her$90 I told her I have insurance on file and that Ive been here multiple times and nothing has changed I tell her Im in agony and need to be seen should be simple considering they are not busy I can visably see docs and nurses just sitting around I was then told they couldnt see me and asked to leave. This place need to be shut they are crooks and just plain bad people.

I had an amazing experience. I should mention that I happened to be uninsured at the time due to changing jobs and it only cost me ~$50 sans insurance, which is less than I was paying to see my regular doctor WITH insurance. Gotta love the American (joke) healthcare system.Very low wait time, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was experiencing an awful cold during that unseasonable heat-wave we had back in September 2017 and they got me feeling much better, enough to return to work the next day. The doctor was quick, knowledgeable and helpful without making me feel rushed (which my primary care doctor does, and it drives me nuts). Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been going to another urgent care in the area and I had not been happy there for awhile. So I decided to check out this place. First I walked in 10 minuets before the closed (I felt terrible about it) but no one even blink an eye. They were happy to see my daughter and I. The doctor was very thorough. Looked my daughter over well to figure out what was going on. We were in and out and my daughter was feeling better in no time at all. We are very happy and we will be returning in the future. Only thing I would change would be the hours. Maybe stay open till 10. :) thanks so much for everything.

Im not sure about the quality of the care or the cost - I never got that far. I went this morning for a COVID test. Im a little hard of hearing (70 yrs old) made a bit more difficult with people wearing face masks. Face masks make it impossible to lip read. The masked receptionist handed me a form to fill out - which I completed and returned. I then was informed that she had also sent me a text message. This I didnt hear the first time around. The text link was to provide additional information. So instead of just asking the additional information with the form they already gave me, and instead of taking my drivers lic and insurance card Instead of the no tech way of gathering the information they wanted I had to take a picture of each side of both my drivers lic and insurance card Okay I get it, if I were home and called for an appointment the text link and the pre-visit process would be genius. It would save time. But Im in the office where there were three receptionists - three receptionist looking like they need something to do. At that point it did not make sense to have me fumbling around with my hand tremors trying to manage my drivers lic and insurance card trying to hold the phone and the cards steady enough to take a picture of each. It was an unnecessary use of technology. and a little cruel to make me do that. I left because there are Urgent Cares all over the place and the next one got me in and out in less time then Pine Knob took explaining their techno rich intake process.

Received 5 stitches above my eye along with several other tests. Staff was outstanding and professional very informative. 5 stars to all female staff.Highly recommend Pine Knob Urgent care.

I had bloodwork done and was prescribed medication two weeks ago. They had not contacted me concerning the test results, so I called them. I waited on the phone for 40 minutes just to talk to the receptionist and another few minutes to talk to a doctor. At 9:30 AM the doctor told me that she was going to phone in a prescription to my pharmacy. I went to the pharmacy at 4:20 pm only to discover that they had not yet been given the prescription by the doctor. I called urgent care and explained the situation. They again said they would send the script, but when I went back to the pharmacy about an hour later, they still had not sent it.

I drove from White Lake to this urgent care yesterday and I have to say its worth the drive. Its the first urgent care Ive been to that feels like a real doctors office. Its clean, they are quick and friendly. They ran several tests quickly and got me out.

Came for Covid and Strep swab and have been waiting in parking lot for at least 90 minutes. Staff came out to swab a few folks waiting that arrived AFTER us and walked back into the office. When I yelled and asked for our status the staff member asked for our name and said they’d be back in a bit. I even called prior to the “swabber” coming out and was told they test every hour. I guess they just missed us. Happy Sunday!I am not very pleased with this experience. I’d suggest you check out a few other urgent cares and read their reviews. Shame on me as there was a review with a similar report of having to wait for a long time but I dismissed it since many other reviews were positive.The only reason I give a 2 star rating is because the are good about the walk-in sports physicals for kids.

Waited 2 HOURS to get a covid test that other non appointment patients came in and got seen before I did. They need a better time management team. Ridiculous to see how long it takes to get a test, I can’t imagine the ones who are actually sick and have to wait these long periods of time just to be seen!

Called and was told I needed an appointment to have my 7 year old son tested. The soonest available appointment was in a week (pharmacies only test kids 12yo and up). We show up to our appointment was told multiple times we would receive a call, 53 minutes later and after 2 patients whom did not have appts were serviced we went to the emergency room.

I was very impressed. Arriving for the first time on Saturday morning in the middle of cold and flu season. Waited less than an hour to get in to a room. The doctor was in in just a few moments.She actually listen to what I had to say (Unlike most I’ve seen recently).And left feeling I was cared for

I called to get a covid test appt and there were times available throughout the day. I was offered both tests which was very comforting. They called right at a half hour to tell me results. I was asked if I had chatted with a provider and I said no. Within 5 minutes, I received a call and the NP was able to confirm what I suspected. She called in a script and I was able to pick it up within 2 hours.The nurse that assisted me for the covid test was kind, caring and thorough when giving me information. Great job Pine Knob Urgent care.

Nice, clean facility, and staff moved quickly and was very caring. Highly recommend! There were tablets and toys and kids were entertained. Was in and out in an hour, for sever back pain and chest pain. They even did EKG to rule anything serious out.

This urgent care delivered caring, competent services. Monica answered questions about Covid testing clearly on the phone. Hannah was an outstanding medical assistant and her blood draws were excellent. Mike the PA was great allowing time for questions, too. I highly recommend this clinic. They also do prompt COVID-19 testing.

Came here for a physical and drug screen for my new job. Waited an hour in the waiting room before getting called back to the room. The medical assistant came in right away, took my urine same and vitals. I then waited another hour for doctor to come in and do my physical. He was only in there for a minute and told me I was good to go. 2 hours of my day wasted , to only be seen 10 minutes all together.This place has no sense of urgency.Don’t come here unless you have time to waste.And I hope your not actually sick and come here.

My friend took her sick child 10 minutes before closing time he had a fever of 103. She was rushing to get there before they closed and she called to notify the urgent care that they were on there way. As soon as they walk in a rude, disgruntled employee slammed the door in her face and told her that they were closed. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This urgent care doesnt even deserve 1 star they obviously care more about going home early then caring for patients.

Nothing about this was nice or quick.Online info says one thing, the nasty lady at the front desk was yelling other things. Said ppl had to call the number to make an appointment but every time you call you don’t get through. The nasty lady said that we have to keep on calling until we get through. None of us hopeful patients standing outside could make an appointment in person as we are chain-calling the same number to try and get through. The nasty lady at the desk on 11/19/2020 at 8:00am yelled at anyone that tried to enter the front door for information.We advised the nasty lady that they should update their online information and at the very least put more/better literature outside.

The entire staff was very friendly and forthcoming. Had to wait quite a while, but the staff informed me when I first arrived on extended wait time. Staff was very good in dealing with unruly patients who don’t seem to understand “waiting their turn”.

Experience was great. Staff was quick to assist and process my information. Once in a room, waited very little time to see a doctor. Doctor was friendly and offered friendly advice and solutions. Got a prescription and was out the door within an hour.

Pine Knob Urgent Care is by far the best urgent care Ive been to. They were professional, courteous, quick and kind! It feels more like a regular Doctors office. Very satisfied!

After calling another urgent care to find out if it was okay to bring my daughter in 15 minutes before close and not being sincerley told yes; I called Pine knob urgent care. I’m so glad I did. The PA Lisa made a big difference in my daughters eyes, of urgent care facilities. She took her time and even brought out a side of my daughter that few see. I appreciated that they TESTED for what they were seeing and did not prescribe unnecessary antibiotics. My daughter got a popsicle out of the deal. Thank you Lisa 😊

Very professional, fast, efficient, nice, and super clean.Everyone here is great. I have been seen here a few times and their main priority is to get you feeling better as fast as possible. They areven happy to answer any and all questions as well as call and do follow ups after your visit. Its so nice to have a nice, caring clinic around here where you know you can get the help you need.

The ladies there are amazing! I had to get an X-ray of my foot today and had my son with me whose still in a car seat. They had no problem watching him and keeping him busy! I’ll def be coming back!

My wife and I got COVID-19 tested here, both rapid test and the more authoritative PCR test, and both came back negative thankfully. They have a lot of inbound call volume now and their phone system is kind of janky which makes it hard to get through but if you keep trying you should be able to make it. I was able to make a same-day appointment on a Saturday by calling first thing in the morning. Seems like a nice place.

Very unprofessional and they do not care about their patients. I went there knowing I had a B12 deficiency siting my primary doctor had let me know and it was my own fault for not getting into my primary. I was extremely light headed with the feeling of passing out. The doctor would not listen to me on testing for that so I could get the correct prescription. He tested for issues that had no relation. I was then told to just take it easy when a simple test would show I needed a b12 shot. The doctor ignored my request and information I already had about myself. There are so many problems that can arise from being b12 deficient and they could just care less. Then to make their unprofessionalism even worse in the middle of the blood work a nurse came into the room without even knocking to ask about tip money for pizza delivery. With the other options for urgent care in the area I would definitely never suggest going to this place.

My first time here and I loved it! I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes- the front office staff was nice and welcoming, the nurse was kind as the doctor!! Best Urgent Care around!

I visited here a few weeks ago and will NEVER return. After a dance injury, I was in extreme back foot pain... so I decided it was bad enough to go to urgent care to prevent further injury. Aside from the wait, I was met with people who wouldnt listen to my problem and met with an exasperated staff that made me feel as though I was in their way amongst the many people testing for COVID at this location. ASIDE from those coming in to test for COVID and NOT being asked to put a mask on, the PA that I saw didnt even LOOK at my foot. He poked at the back corner, and literally shrugged. Had he bothered to look, he would have seen the bruising along the back of my heel and bottom of my foot. After telling me nothing was broken (Didnt think it was- was 99% positive it was an Achilles injury) I was told I was perfectly fine and I just overworked it. Next morning, I couldnt even stand. I was able to get into a Foot and Ankle Ortho in Troy who was FURIOUS that I was overlooked. And guess what? I spent 2 WEEKS in a WALKING BOOT and now have to go to physical therapy!!! But I thought your PA said that I was fine??? Extremely irritated that Im still being hit with a visit charge when in reality your PA could have cared LESS to even take a moment to truly care to understand the issue.

They were absolutely wonderful. I had never been to this urgent care before but now I dont think Id go to any other urgent care. They got me in to see the doctor very quickly and they were as friendly and helpful as could be.

Extremely kind and efficient. We were traveling from out of town and my wife got very sick very quickly. They had her in, tested, and out with prescriptions in 15 minutes. Clean facility. Its in the back of the building where the parking lot is.

We had to take our son here last night with a severe head ache and URI. They were very busy, but triaged us quickly and were very attentive. Dr Newblatt was wonderful and was genuinely concerned. I appreciated the whole staffs concern and would definitely recommend this urgent care to anyone! Thank you!

*urgent care visit*Was in and out in a quick amount of time. Dr. Rick figured out what was wrong that my primary care had missed. Got a steroid shot and my allergic reaction went down a lot by the end of the day. I very much appreciate this urgent care. They are all kind. Id reccomened them to anyone.

I walked in on my lunch break with a very sore throat and scratchy voice and although they ended up giving me a doctor note to take the rest of the day off and rest they had me out before my 1 hour lunch break ended! Thank you so much for being so quick and easy to deal with!

It was really easy to get a COVID-19 antibody test here. They even had my results earlier than estimated. The only thing that I wish was better would be that they would believe me that I had it back in December. Im guessing my case was just counted as asymptomatic, even though I had a cold that was just like it, at the end of December, and my test proved that I had it at some point...

I went to the PKUC directly after breaking my collar bone. I showed up just before they were to close (yeah, I was that guy). They were very quick and got an xray done that clearly showed it was broken. I was given a sling, a prescription, and a couple of business cards for orthopedic surgeons and was out of there in less than an hour. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant.

Everyone there is ALWAYS nice and compassionate. Never a long wait either!

2 and a half hours for a COVID test!! Despite what they say when you call in advance to ask, they are not quick and not upfront about the wait. I greatly appreciate our healthcare workers and all they do but, this was terrible.

I went in for an ENT infection after fighting it with vitamins and supplements for a couple weeks. Everyone at this facility was professional, kind and really listened. Took no more than an hour, maybe less, on a Sunday! Thank you so much, what a valuable asset to our community!

Went in to check my ankle to see if it was sprained, broken and or fractured. The staff was amazing!! Im a person that hates to go to the doctor and they made me feel at ease, informed and all around relaxed!! My go to from now on!!!

My family has been there a couple of times one due to a sports injury and another due to sickness. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have onsite X-ray which is huge for us because our insurance does not cover if it is contracted to another facility.

I visited this urgent care on the morning of friday 12/27 and had terrible service from the doctor I saw. I apologize I do not know her name she did not send me home with paperwork but she was Asian American and she misdiagnosed me and also caused me tons of pain while I was at this facility. She proceeded to tell me that my swollen face and extreme pain was from TMJ and that I just needed my face messaged which she then did to me while I cried and screamed and would not give me anything for pain...I had to go to the ER on sat where I was started on steroids and antibiotics and morphine for the level of pain I was in, 1 decayed tooth and polyps in my nose later...please take 5 minutes next time and do your job I was in so much pain and all I wanted was for you to listen to me and give me antibiotics.

This review is only for COVID19 testing. The medical side of Pine Knob UC is excellent. I received a rapid test and turned out positive. The explanation as well as the follow up directions I was given by person that did the testing made no sense at all. The next day I went and had a PCR test which came out negative. I strongly recommend you go else where for your COVID19 test. For urgent medical care Pine Knob has a very professional staff.

I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very polite. My nurse and doctor did an excellent job. This is my new urgent care for sure.

Up until Tuesday, I really liked PKUC. That is until I was misdiagnosed with Walking Pneumonia (without an xray having been taken) and given scripts for antibiotic, cough medicine and an inhaler. Ended up in the ER severely dehydrated from Flu B and admitted. Thank goodness I stopped taking the antibiotic after 2 doses because I became so amazingly sick. Cant treat Flu with antibiotics. My faith in them being able to diagnose correctly has faltered greatly. This clinic is great for colds, strep, bumps, bruises the simple things. Go to your regular doctor or the ER for anything more. But I will say it is a very clean facility.

Went to this urgent care for bladder infection was given an antibiotic after talking to my pharmacist and researching the antibiotic I wanted to try a different one called the next day to ask if they could call in a different antibiotic the girl who answered the phone was very rude said the Dr was busy she would call me back after she talked to him. After two hours I called back. Same rudeness they would call me back. After four hours (four hours!) they called me back and said the Dr didn’t feel right about changing the antibiotics even tho the one I was asking for was Cipro which is known to work best for bladder infections and that he had offered me the day before. I orginally refused because I thought I had it before and it gave me a headache but the pharmacist confirmed I had never had it. Still he refused to call in anything else for me based on his “feelings” never mind the drugs are going into MY body. I was told I could come back in and talk to him. Which meant another $25. The Dr was Rick Kedzierdski and I highly recommend going to a different urgent care if you are ever sick.

So sad about treatment at this place. We will never go back to this place ever again. They send us home twice this week telling me my child is fine. We finally saw pediatrician and my child has ammonia! Plain awful.

We got there just about 10 min before they closed and they got us in and treated us with great care as if it wasnt almost time to leave. Thank you sooo much for helping my daughter and giving her the care she needed.

What a joke! Went on Monday for a sinus infection, went back on Saturday and they lost my paperwork, took others in front of me and sat me in a room for 20 minutes before sending in a Dr. No one took my temperature, or listened to me. They dont care about you!

Amazing place! Great for folks with no insurance! Cost is super reasonable! Staff is nice, place is clean. This was just a great experience! If you need a urgent care this is the one to go too!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This urgent care is amazing. Ive never been so impressed with an urgent care and the fact they actually care. They went above and beyond for me, really one of their PAs did. The best by a long shot.

From out of town I got word that I had been near a person just positive for COVID. Quick search led to Pine Knob UC. Parked in their lot and was registered. Kathy said I could get in tomorrow, but maybe today. Two hours later called me back in. I got an Antigen rest--negative, and then PCR, 48-72 hours, so I drove home (4 hours). Just got the call my PCR is also negative. Its been 42 hours. Very helpful friendly people here....
