Access Medical Center Urgent Care Claremore

It was easy to make a same-day appointment. I filled the paperwork out online and arrived 15 minutes before my appointment. I was taken back to a room within 5 minutes of my appointment time (the waiting room had five walk-ins), and I was seen promptly. The facility was clean and everyone very pleasant and professional. My copay with ABC was $25. Based on this experience, I highly recommend.

Went in for a small infection. Front office staff always helpful. Dr was excellent, and saw to all my needs. My only complaint is that they still have never fixed the bathroom sink in the lobby, it sprays water everywhere, and can only get cold water to wash hands.

I had a great experience! Brenda checked us in and was beyond kind and friendly, our nurse Kaitlyn was fast and nice and awesome, and Alex, our PA, was personable, informative, and great with my 10 year old daughter. She also went out of her way to get my daughter an expedited referral to the orthopedist so we wouldn’t have to wait all weekend. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. I’ll most certainly be going back.

My visit went very smoothly yesterday. When I arrived at Urgent Care there was no one else in the waiting area, so I was called back fairly quickly. They did the appropriate test for what I came in for and took my vitals with a very pleasant attitude. Soon after, the Doctor came in with a Diagnosis and an order for a prescription, and I was ready to be on my way home. Overall, a very good experience.

Had a little bit of a wait, but not near as long as the last time I came in. Would be great if more seating was added. Check in was efficient, nurse I saw was very efficient and empathetic. The Nurse practitioner who ordered my injection was very efficient and helpful too.

I made an online appointment at 9:15 and the first available appointment was 9:45 so I was there on time. Check in was simple and the front desk clerk was very nice. It only took maybe six or seven minutes to be called back into a room and the CNA, (I’m assuming that was her title) was super nice and attentive. Dr. Jones came in and I really liked him, in fact, more than any doctor I’ve seen there. I had a particular test and it came back negative, yay! Anyway, Dr. Jones came back and gave his opinion on what he thought was going on. We agreed on a treatment plan and I was out a short bit later. All in all, it was a really nice and comforting experience, considering I was at urgent care, and in pain.

The staff was very nice to me and very helpful. I was quickly provided with care, although I came in well the clinic was relatively quiet so wait times might vary. I would definitely use in the future should I need it. Anyways, wish me luck with my bronchitis. Lol. 🫡

All of the staff were extremely kind, quick, and efficient. I didn’t get the name of the sweet lady that checked me in at the front desk, but she truly seemed to care, as did the nurse that took me back.

The staff was super nice and answered all my questions. Got me in fairly quickly too. I went in with rope burn and got treated pretty quickly and courteously. Overall, a really nice urgent care

Made an appointment but got there a little early. I told them I had felt really bad. There was two people with no appointments that were walk ins that came in after I did, that were seen first before me (who had scheduled in advance).Then I get back to the waiting room, they do all the tests, tell me it will take 5-10 minutes. I am not joking it was 45 minutes before the APRN walks into the room. Wasn’t even in the room for 3 minutes. Hardly listened to anything I wanted to say. Seemed so hurried for someone who just waited almost an hour to be seen. I felt horrible. Almost falling asleep in the chair because I was feeling so bad. Urgent cares are just going down hill. Horrible service.

Personnel were very friendly, courteous and professional. My wait was short and the physician on duty was very thorough, didnt rush and showed genuine concern. I highly recommend making an appointment, youll get very good treatment! Thanks to everyone that was there.

Clean facilitate and kind staff but they will leave you waiting in a exam room for 45 minutes even if you’ve been waiting for over an hour past your appointment time. Spent 2 1/2 hours here for an ear infection

Very short waiting time. Dr Mckinney listened to my issues and explained the best course of treatment. It was very refreshing to be heard and not feel rushed. Had a great experience at Urgent Care. Would recommend this facility.

Meridian and Rae took good care of me as I tested for COVID. First time for everything! I received compassionate care, had all my questions answered, and was able to leave to pick up appropriate medicines. I recommend Access Urgent care in Claremore!

The staff, especially Elissa, was very friendly and welcoming. The wait was a little aggravating but I sort of expected that for a walk‐in. My second appointment was scheduled and it was really quick. Once again, the staff was super friendly!

The nurses were very nice, but the wait time for a pre-employment drug/blood test took over 3 hours. 20 minutes in the waiting room and the rest was in the clinic area.

I arrived at Urgent Care for pain relief before further symptoms could erupt. The attending nurse was feisty in asking questions again and again, to the point she asked me to spell, which I told her I couldnt do due to the umbral of pain I was at. I had enough time to tell her current medications for pain management and diagnosis that prompts this severe episodes. Given that I wasnt taken seriously until inevitably my body reacted and my dear white husband showed up, was the level of verbal compassionate care displayed. I was not given any steroid shot or prescription, which is the standard treatment of UC facilities to control the pain. I was forced to go on an ambulance to Claremore hospital against my wishes, given prior egregious care there previously. I had no problem going to any other hospital. My husband, who was authorized to take decisions for me, was pressed with legal lingo to let them put me in an ambulance with the misguided vision that provider would treat pain rapidly.Again this has bot been our experience at Claremore hospital in previous occasions with waiting time of 3 hours without care or doctor attendance. Multiple tests with radiologists that skip skeletal conditions.Now well be left with a worthless ambulance trip that didnt even give me oxygen or pain relief, and a huge fee around $1500.The problem was not attended claiming they only had ibuprofen. Left us even more frustrated with Urgent Care disappointing us, and a set of actions that will cause a financial burden unnecessarily.Need Urgency Care, try St John.Thank you to those that were compassionate during my flare period and care for me not to fall.Please believe patients when theyre telling you their medical history.

Courtney, the PA who treated my son’s laceration, was extremely kind and made him feel very comfortable. I think she helped to make a scary experience something he can have a positive association with because she let him have not one but two suckers!

The Lady at the front desk is very in professional. She got hateful and yelling at me. Every time I had to come in it took longer and they let people ahead of you that checked in after you even when you have an appointment.

Ridiculous wait time & I dont know why youll keep bringing ppl back to rooms when you cant even take care of the ppl in the rooms. Thick, snotty nose: antibiotic & bye but no. Going on 40 min in a patient room.

Made an appointment a got in quickly. The staff was kind and courteous. The PA was very nice and thorough. I have some drug allergies and she went to the effort to research what I should take for my particular issue and allergies. I would definitely go back to the Claremore office if I needed to.

The physician that came in was an old man & he was a little odd with my 7yr old daughter. He might have thought he was being friendly but he kept squeezing her legs to tickle her, squeezing her stomach, poking her on her arms, legs, stomach, squeezed her cheeks when he checked her throat. I thought it was a little too much affection towards a child. Especially a child he doesn’t know.

Awful experience to be honest. My son got a gash in the back of his head, we had to wait two hours for it to be stapled together. The dr came in and put some lidocaine on gauze and told me to hold it on his head to help numb the surface and then said she would be back in 10 min, she didn’t return for over 30 minutes. They then came in and did the lidocaine injection to put the staples in and after looking at it they didn’t even bother to get his long hair out of the way and just stapled it down. I’m not sure if that’s the way staples are normally done or not but I figured they would have tried to get his hair out of the way and cleaned up the spot before closing it up.

Did not get any answers and no immediate help with the pain, also when asked for a few days off from work the Dr Ruper ( I think) said since its not a fracture Ill give you the day not knowing Im a manager and really dont need the Drs note. So that was weird but whatever.

Very thorough and explained everything very well. Finally, after seeing 3 other doctors before coming to your urgent care, I finally got the help and relief I needed! Very friendly and informative. Thank you!

This establishment goes above and beyond for their patients. They saw me 1 minute before they closed and made a huge difference with my severe cough and allergies. They truly are incredible people. Thank you so much!

I had a spider bite me 5 days ago. It was still red and itching. The PA that I saw was great and so was the rest of the staff. Ive never had a bad visit to the Claremore location.

Went to this urgent care with a deep cough thought it was getting worse, but I went to the one in Owasso may 1st and they said I had bronchitis !! This urgent care was very rude!!! She said, weren’t you just here? She listens to my chest I have no fever, I had told her I was coughing, green flem , She said it doesn’t matter the color. I thought she was very rude wasted $75 co-pay. I will never be back to this one even though I do live in Claremore I will go to the Owasso right off 169. They are very good and very nice.

Very long wait…I don’t think it was the drs/nurses fault though…but I waited for almost 3 hours to be told I don’t have Covid or the flu and the virus will just have to run its course…again not the staffs fault, just think they were overwhelmed…won’t discourage me from going back

Both the Nurse and Doctor was beyond AMAZING!!! Their truely are not any words to describe how wonderfully calm they made me feel. Understood my needs and made it simple. Thank you ladies so much.

Great staff! My daughter was sick, I knew it was either the flu or strep throat. We got there early, we got in before her appointment time and we were out quickly. She wasnt feeling great. It was nice to get in, evaluated, tested, diagnosed and out the door in 30 minutes with exceptional service.

They were pretty busy when I got there so I had to wait about 2 hours, but their staff are very friendly and very professional!!!! The doctor was really nice and I felt very comfortable when talking with her!!! Usually it doesnt take that long to be seen so I will continue to see them when needed!!!!

I was in to see the doctor very quickly and the office staff was extremely nice and accommodating to me.

I’m torn on what to rate this place. The people who work here are fantastic, I always feel very heard and like my concerns are being addressed. But I do feel some things are over looked.I went here last Thursday (11-9-23) for my son, who is 9 months old. He had been coughing and sneezing and as a first time parent I was extremely concerned. I told his nurse practitioner of his symptoms, and he looked over him and told me it was a cold. Flash forward two days, we’re at the ER due to an upper respiratory infection. So I’d obviously not recommend them for infant care.I came in two days ago,almost a full week after my sons appointment. I was in a pinch and needed URGENT care. I got there and the receptionist told me it would be about an hour wait. So I agreed to wait the hour. I was able to see who was ahead of me, how many people, and their appointment times. I kept watching people get called ahead of me. I understand how appointments work, but I didn’t think everyone had to go before a walk in. I got there at 3:45 pm, and appointments made for 4:30 got called in before me. I wasn’t seen until 6. I didn’t think that appointments made so much later after me got to go before me, I don’t see how that’s fair.

Tried to do a virtual visit, setup the appt and went through all the paperwork, and tried to get in to join the call and it wouldnt join. So, made an appt to go to the clinic, where everything went fine. Really wish the virtual visit would work.

Made an “appointment” for 5:30, it’s 6:35 and still haven’t talked to a doctor while my four year old runs rampant in the room. Just don’t call it an appointment if that’s not what it is. Extremely annoying.

My concerns were taken seriously, I was very sick when I was seen. Dr was concerned about my symptoms and was quick to get me the things needed to make me feel better 10/10 experience

Terrible -she guessed what is even wrong with me and did nothing to take care of the problem -than charged me money even though I have meet my deductible with my insurance and out of pocket! I will never ever go back to this urgent care again!

My daughter has been sick with lots of symptoms and it was important to me for her to have an X-ray done of her chest and even though the doctor said her lungs sounded fine, they went ahead and did one and they ended up seeing things consistent with viral pneumonia. So they prescribed her steroids and also an antibiotic to help kick anything else that she might have. I’m glad they were willing to go ahead and do the X-ray, otherwise we wouldn’t have known she needed those things. 10/10 recommend this place.

I got in for a same day appointment with my husband. We received excellent care and prescriptions to cover all our symptoms. You need to be patient on the time issue but so greatful they are in my town!

Made an online appointment & got in quickly. Shelby, the nurse & the dr were very good.

Took way too long, setting on hard surface for over 2.5 hours, asked if I could get a electronic copy of my visit I was to login to the application, setup and logged in and only thing was personal information nothing about my visit, then not getting any information about me other than fracture in my back and you have been referred come back in a week unless you see another doctor before then, first visit xray machine went down was told to go to Owasso, barely made it before they closed, then was told I needed a CT scan, option was that night or the next day, I chose the next day because it was late, waited 3 hours the next morning, finally called was told to call back in a hour, when I did I was told to go to the local ER and get a CT scan when I asked for referral number she said just show up and explain what happened and they would do it, of course they acted like I was crazy, so I called my nurse line I was given and was told they were faxing the order over its been 8 days and still havent heard anything yet, and remember while this is all going on I can barely walk from the pain that I was told to take Tylenol for

There is no point in making an appointment if you still have to wait a hour or more. Then get put in a room and have to wait another hour. Total time at clinic 2 and 1/2 hours. That is ridiculous!

The wait time was horrible, but the nurse and care provider were very apologetic. Very happy with the care provider and nurse though!

Was given some relief until my mail Dr apt for my foot. A steroid shot that was what it took to get me some much needed relief for a moment.

The nurse practitioner Amanda or Amber, I cant remember her name but it started with A, sorry. Anyway I saw her and she was great on 11/3/23 and did excellent on my stictches! She is Awesome!But this visit on 11/6 was to just check the stitches and the wait was awful. I got there at 3:12 for my 3:30 scheduled appointment. And got called back around 4:00 then waited another 25 minutes for someone to look at my hand which took 3 min. I didnt get checked out till 4:30. I dont know why they bother to even make appointments when they still take walk-ins ahead of you. Very unhappy with the flow.

I was impressed. Lady at front desk was very pleasant and the young lady that took my vitals was excellent, polite, kind and so sweet. As for the physician that attended to my issues could not have been better. She was kind, knowledgeable and took the time to explain and listen. The kind of person you wish was your primary care doctor. Over all I am extremely pleased.

It was almost closing time. But everyone welcomed me and got me right in. Everyone was kind, professional and helpful. All my questions were answered.

Every time I have to go in here its a bit of a wait.. But its worth it. Amanda is the best NP that has ever lived. She takes her time, its patient with us (hi, recovering helicopter mom!), and is very knowledgeable. With the lack of pediatric care in this town, I can relax knowing this place is a car drive away so my babies can be seen. Did I mention Amanda? Yes? Amazing.

We got in and out pretty fast.Staff was great! The care my Grandson received was great!

I love the staff here so much. They’re always so nice, kind and welcoming. I’ve never had an issue with them. The ladies up front always do an excellent job and help out any way they can. Let’s also remember that they’re human beings, too so please be kind when there’s a wait or they can’t get you in immediately!

Prompt., courteous. I checked-in by doing online ahead of time. Though I was so miserable at the time, that I could barely see the sceens. My eyes were so blurry, that it seemed to take forever to get thru it all. But I knew at the rate I was going downhill that I would be in no shape to do paperwork. So it was worth it. Just gave them my name at desk and all was done. Wait was not too long though very busy. Doctor was very polite and comforting. Explained things very well. Picked up my prescriptions and took as she directed and I had my one foot pulled out of the grave by bedtime and got some sleep.

Booked a appointment to see the doctor. Only to get there and find no doctor on site just doing virtual visits. I dnt pay lazy doctors that cant even go to work.

The wait is sometimes very long. I went in and it was fine. I got to the pharmacy and found out they ordered a medication that Im allergic to AGAIN. This has happened several times. Of course Urgent Care is now closed and I cant do anything about it until tomorrow.

I have been to this place many times over the years. Its rarely ever been a quick visit even with scheduling an appointment but today the wait time was ridiculous. Scheduled an appointment the day before, showed up 8 minutes before our appointment time and then sat in the lobby for the next hour. I ultimately ended up leaving after an hour and went to On Call Pediatrics in Owasso where we were seen immediately. Urgent cares have their place but there is nothing urgent about this one. Better plan on spending your day here even if you schedule an appointment in advance.

I am very satisfied with Access Urgent Care in Claremore On Blue Star. The only thing I wasnt happy with is the long wait. My appointment was for 4:22 pm. It was 5:30 before I was called to the back to be seen. I finally walked out from my 4:22 pm appointment at 7:00 pm. Which was not a good thing for me. I just think if I had to make an appointment to begin with then at my appointment time I should not have had to sit in the waiting room for another hour before I was even seen.

They told us to wait in the room for our prescription and then never came to tell us we could leave after they called the prescription into the pharmacy directly.

It is a great place to go. Very nice staff. You are in and out pretty fast.

Easily the best urgent care I have ever been to. The staff is extremely nice and calmed me down when I was freaking out. Very clean environment as well. Overall it was as good as a doctor visit could have been.

Told me ahead of time they could test me for possible rat poison and took my $60 but then said that they couldn’t do it. I paid $60 for nothing. I would like a refund.

A great bunch of people. Is quite busy often so be prepared to wait if you just show up. Was seen in a timely fashion and all of my questions were answered. Had my main illness and a second one diagnosed and treated. There are several clinics in the area and your records are available to all of the clinics so you dont have to fill out extra paperwork. Highly Recommend

Worst experience at a urgent care ever. I took my daughter in there yesterday her throat was almost swelled shut had white puss spots all over its obvious its an infection and they did nothing told her to go home and take some musinex. This was after I paid 161 dollars for the appointment. I complained and even talked to the manager they said sorry we will have to wait 3 to 5 daysfor test results . So then we went back the next morning paid again and a different doctor gave her meds and said that was wrong its bad enough that she new she needs antibiotics .

Go at your own risk. Set an appt online early in the day and still waited 30 min in lobby, quickest triage ever done by Brandie, simple check for allergies. Waited another 50 min for a steroid after reminding them I was still there with my two kids. Didn’t warn us about no flavor for the medicine and my child spit it up everywhere with no water or anything. They don’t care about kids and they just use work as a hangout spot to talk and gossip and laugh in their workspace. Waste of time and money. I have given them the benefit of the doubt after numerous visits about the wait time but today was enough for me. Those poor people that didn’t check in online because their sense of helping others was not their. Oh and their lobby is around close to 80 degrees and everyone was sweating. Floors were filthy and there was dust everywhere in the room. I couldn’t even hear the practitioners name when she said it too.

Bad experience. Waited 2 hours even after making an appointment online. Told the computers were down and it was recommended we go to another urgent care since they couldnt diagnose our issue. And they kept the co-pay! This seems fraudulent.

Stellar experience. I am not one to go to urgent care unless I feel like I am dying. I felt that way this week. I went to St. John’s urgent care first, but was diagnosed by the receptionist as cold like symptoms and then told there were no more appointments available. I was shocked that they let receptionists diagnose and decide who could be treated and who could be turned away as were only two couples in the waiting room it at 6:00pm, they close at 7:00pm. So my partner drove me across town to this facility. There were 7-people in the waiting room, one doctor on staff. I waited and was seen, correctly diagnosed and had my medicine waiting at the pharmacy when my partner arrived to pick it up. All before they closed at 7:30pm. After taking the prescribed medication, I immediately started feeling better. I highly recommend this urgent care facility. This is a place where they let the doctor practice medicine. Praise the Lord.

BEWARE OF FRAUD!! I spent an hour in the waiting room just for them to tell me that because of my medical history they can’t treat me and then sent me to the ER. Not a SINGLE test was ran!!!!!!!!!!! Now they’re trying to charge me a service bill! What services did I get????

I set an appointment for 5pm. I am still waiting because they are letting walk-ins before my autistic son. If you have Soonercare, youre better off going to the ER if you cant get into a primary care doctor (like I did).

VERY EXPENSIVE - I went to Access urgent care in Oct 2023, as I thought I had the flu. They ran flu and Covid tests. I was there for about 20 minutes. Total charge to me, out-of-pocket is $212, and they are also billing my insurance for an additional $261. Thats $473 for a couple of tests and seeing a nurse. I will not use this service again.

Okay Im updating this. I still really appreciate the ladies at the front desk. They are both always kind and professional. I felt like the nurse or assistant who brought me back into the room seemed hurried but still nice and professional. And I thought the provider who eventually saw me was also incredibly courteous and professional and thorough for that matter. She checked both of my ears and determined that they both had ear infections. I just wish I wouldnt have been prescribed ofloxacin, as it is the same class of antibiotic as ciprofloxacin which I had mentioned had cause me too have a severe allergic reaction. The ofloxacin that she prescribed me also cost me over $80. The medication I had requested cost $30. I went ahead and tried to use the ofloxacin assuming that my doctor understood these antibiotics better than I did but unfortunately nope I was allergic to ofloxacin as well and my ear almost swelled shut. I spoke to the pharmacist about it and she was concerned that a doctor would write me a prescription to ofloxacin knowing I was allergic to ciprofloxacin. And then like I said Im out $80 so overall Im pretty upset about it. I think it was an honest mistake I know that can happen to anyone So Im trying not to hold it against them but you kind of hope those arent the mistakes that are made. What if I was deathly allergic to ciprofloxacin ( which is apparently not all that uncommon). So I think my provider last night should probably study up on antibiotics before prescribing them. Im also going to assume the naming of antibiotics will tell you what class or family they are in. I would assume they teach you that in medical school. Im also assuming thats why all fluoroquinolone antibiotics and in acin. I also just read where theyre really not that safe. And maybe arent the best option for anyone. In fact in the UK theyre not allowing them to be prescribed unless other commonly used antibiotics are not effective. So overall I have some serious questions about the efficacy or training of the practitioner I saw last night. I dont mean this to be rude in any way nor do I mean this to be an excuse for the provider I saw last night. The only reason I can think of for her to have still prescribed me ofloxacin is that I did not think to write ciprofloxacin down as a medication I was allergic to. I only verbally told her in the examination room. And maybe she was thinking about something else and didnt hear me say that or it didnt register I should say. And then later when she was looking at my chart she didnt see that I was allergic to it. But I dont know Im so pretty disappointed.

The lady at the front desk was not helpful didn’t look to see that my insurance was already in the computer she told me to go home and get my insurance card and they would not see me until I did So I did and then came to saint John’s and have been seen by a doctor and treated way better I will never go back to access when your sick and don’t feel good the last thing you want is to be turned away

My little girl was diagnosed with flu A. Despite being miserable and falling asleep in the exam room, she declared that the nurse practitioner was the nicest doctor Ive ever seen, which is high praise from a cranky 6 y/o!

Extremely long wait times. I called and made an appointment for 2:30. When we went in i was put on the walk in waiting list. We werent seen for 2 hours past my appointment time. Extremely inconsiderate.

A very long wait with only 1 person ahead of us. They didn’t do anything for my son’s ears just said to use over the counter medications and sent us home. It was a huge waste of time.

Called before I went and spoke to front desk and nurse and they were very helpful. I arrived at clinic filled out paperwork and did not wait long at all. Nurse was the same one Id spoke with and once again kind and professional. Dr. was in quickly to see me and he was very good about explaining his findings with me. Will definitely go back if needed. Clinic was very clean and organized.

I have previous nerve damage in my back/leg that I have mostly recovered from due to an epidural injury, but I still deal with having a bad leg that is weak and causes me to have balance issues. I had a major fall Monday morning (I fell from my car running board that is at least a foot off of the ground flat onto my butt, I was unable to even get off the ground by myself) and decided to be seen here that afternoon until I could get into my PCP. My ankle (on my bad leg) and my tailbone/lower back were extremely painful after the fall. Given my history and the severity of the fall, I felt the need to be seen. The lack of care I received was mind blowing. The NP I saw felt no need to do xrays or anything because I showed now swelling or bruising. She wouldnt have even looked at my foot until I specifically asked her too. I honestly wished I would have never even mentioned my nerve injury history because once that was talked about, all of my new pain from the fall was written off as nerve pain. She told me I was probably just scared and of course I would be sore, I fell and Im not going to bounce back like a child. I left feeling like I was crazy for even being worried about how big of a fall I took. She was kind but very condescending. She felt the need to tell me how scared she was during her epidural and that she understood my fear. I was paralyzed from the knee down completely for 2 months and then had extreme deficits following that. That isnt just fear. It happened. I was seen by my PCP 3 days later and was immediately sent for xrays and an order for an MRI was put in. My PCP was also amazed at the lack of concern this urgent care office showed toward my fall.

I’m going to help parents of small children with this review. I have come here a dozen times and the timeline I’m sharing with you is normal for the Claremore Blue Starr location. Our arrival and check in was 2:24pm. Our appointment was for 2:40pm. We did not go back to a room until 3:36pm. A doctor didn’t come see us until 4:15pm. We left the building at 4:30pm. My sick child was miserable and in and out of sleep the entire time. During our hour and ten minute wait in the waiting room, 6 walk-ins were called back. This is very normal for this location. In fact, taking the time to make an appointment only helps them, not you. They do not go off your appointment time but your arrival. If your arrival is after walks-ins, the walk-ins go before you. I would avoid this place if you can, but sometimes we have no choice. Good luck!

Was immediately made to feel welcome and comfortable by reception. As well as by the young lady taking vital signs a d checking me in. The physician was even pleasant.

They got me in quickly as a walk-in, listened closely to my concerns, and addressed the issues with appropriate tests and medications. Very professional, very caring group of people!

I’ve been to this urgent care several times and never had any issues. We took our 8mo in over the weekend to check for an ear infection because he had a fever and we saw Dr. Nick Carroll. He was the most unprofessional and rude doctor I’ve seen. He came in the room and asked what ear was hurting. He never said hi or introduced himself and was out of the room within 30 seconds never asking if we had any questions. I had to go search for him and ask him for a specific antibiotic that we used in the past. When he came back to dismiss us we were trying to ask him questions as he’s basically trying to run out the door. Absolutely no concern for patient care.

Awesome job everyone. You know how much I love you..Funny, my antibiotic shot felt like a red wasp sting. Perfect. I still need to get my lab results. I cant figure out the online lab service. Ill request the results be sent to me or I can pick them up.Thank you again for all that you all do. Wonderful team. I smelled taco salad there, so I know your team eats good too.

Went to ER after possibly breaking my ankle and it was packed so I called here while waiting. They had X-ray and availability, so I went here and got in and out quickly.Everyone was nice and I got the care I needed quickly. So if it’s not life threatening, yeah go here.

My daughter cut two of her fingers and needed stitches. She was very nervous and scared, but the staff were all very helpful and compassionate. Their bedside manner was great, and I really appreciate their kindness and patience. We were able to get in and out quickly and they made sure we had all the information we needed before leaving. Very pleased with our experience.

I took the time to make an appointment online and get checked in. I had a 2:15 appointment. I finally gave up after being there almost an hour. I don’t recommend this place unless you simply have no other options.

Had a rash from surgery and having an ekg, NP addressed my issues completely. Prescribed steroids and gave me a steroids shot that has taken care of my issues. Thank you.

Dr. Jones and the entire staff were very professional and friendly. Prescribed medications were explained. I felt like they were truly concerned regarding my illness and made me feel at ease. I would go back again.

My appointed Dr. Amy, was anything but helpful and made me feel unwelcome and argued that my illness was from my lifestyle and not because of an infection. Still waiting on a 1-3 day lab test that is now on day 6, been calling everyday since to get help to no avail. Save yourself the hassle and skip this place if it’s anything serious.

In the middle of a major household move, I came down with bronchitis and no current primary care doctor.I was becoming worse by the day and finally turned to the Claremore emergency care facility, where I was immediately met with kindness and quick service. The receptionist and the nurse practitioner I interacted with both were VERY informational and pleasant!!I truly felt fortunate to have come to a very strange place that quickly came to feel very welcoming and comfortable. I am scheduled to come back on Sunday for an assessment of my improvement. I expect it to be very good!Sunday Update:Same great service. Update is that I show no improvement today…BUT they also report no increase in the pneumonia. Instructions are either to find a primary care this week or come back to them for more care.Observation: This Is an exceptional urgent care facility!!!! I am thankful!!!Caroline Avant

They were so sweet and got us in so quickly.

The doctor and nurse were fantastic. The nurse listened carefully and helped us sort through what my granddaughter was concerned about. The doctor was quick and thorough she explained everything perfectly and how to follow up. She helped with my granddaughters concern and was great with children. She also went over her concerns as a doctor to get the best result for my granddaughter in the future. I would highly recommend this urgent care! I just wanted to respond to the wait time. This is the best urgent care in Claremore and due to their excellent quality their services are highly in demand. Please be patient you can sit in your vehicle and they can text you when it is your time to be seen.

Good visit wait was pretty long even though we had an appointment but the nurses and doctors were very caring and helpful.

Fantastic experience. The ladies at the front are friendly and kind. The nurse was great too. She talked to my son instead of acting like he wasnt in the room or assuming his disability made him nonverbal. The doctor was awesome with my son. Normally he hates having his ears looked at and will freakout over it. He let him look in his ears no problem. Great visit and honestly wish it was a doctors office not an urgent care so we could see them all the time.

Current waiting we got here at 12 pm. We waited in the lobby room whenever we got checked in. Then they took us to the room it’s currently 1:36 and we’re still waiting for the doctor to come in. My niece has been crying in pain since we enter the room. I asked for a cup of water and the gentleman was very kind he brought my niece water. Staff seem very friendly but service here is not so great. Wait is to long I should have gone to the ER. Also, I am pretty sure that the other people in the rooms have been helped and new patients before us. My nieces pain has been at 10 this entire time. The nurse has not check up on us. Texas road house is faster than this place. It’s 1:43 now and still no one. 1:45 and no update.

Almost two hour wait for a dang physical is crazy to me.... Every time we come here it takes so long to go to the back of I couldve I wouldve went to a emergency room heck there faster than here makes no sense. That new urgent care is going to put them under

She took the time to really listen to my symptoms, unlike other Urgent Cares where my symptoms are often overlooked or dismissed.This is also not my first great experience here. Everyone from the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor tonight were ever so kind! I truly appreciate everyone being so pleasant. I was nervous about the service since I did bring my daughter in 30 minutes before they closed. (I get it, I’d be ready to get outta there at 8:00 too.) But that wasn’t the case at all! I had an appointment at 5:00 at the Claremore location. I showed up before that time and had my paperwork and the check in done before my appointment. Yet I waited 35 minutes in the lobby for them to call me up and do more paperwork, and once I got that finished I had to wait another 15 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. This entire time I was waiting on my 5 oclock appointment, many others were taken to the back (atleast 4-5 people) although I was due to be next according to their live waiting list. I was the only person beside one other that was there sitting in the lobby whenever my appointment was scheduled and yet those that walked through the door after 5 oclock were seen before me. The doctor was very nice and once I finally got to the back, she was done in 10 to 15 minutes. Even though the doctor and nurse were very nice and quick, I will not come back because of the organization and wait time of this establishment. An appointment that should have taken 30 minutes tops, took close to an hour. I have never had this type of service at the Bartlesville location and was very disappointed with my visit.

I needed a place to take a drug test and to get my results the same day. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and polite. All in all they done great. My only complaint was the price. Very steep. So they get 3 stars. Otherwise I’d have given them all 5

I was taken in right away with very friendly staff. The doctor was prompt to see me, very professional, knowledgeable, and assessed my injured knee. Ordered x-rays, they are read on site and doctor gave me results. Put a knee brace on my knee. Receptionist gave me a few pages of all the information, results, and follow up instructions. I am thoroughly impressed! I am from out of state visiting family here.

I really appreciate how kind everyone is there. I’ve been there twice in the last two years and have had different people for both visits. I am very thankful they are as fast as they are and as to the point as they have been with me. Dr. Cynthia was very caring and she thoroughly explained everything to me about the prescription and the care needed.

I was very happy I chose this Urgent Care, as opposed to the other one in town (which I had been to before and did not care for.)The staff here were all very friendly. I was in and out much quicker than I had expected. The Dr. was great! She was thorough, explained well and I was feeling better within a matter of a couple hours, due to her choice of medication prescribed. Thanks for great service!

They were amazing!! We were visiting from out of state, and had a child with suspected ear infection. They got us in quickly, and sent the rx to a pharmacy open late! Definitely recommend!

Staff were friendly and got my questions answered. Got seen 35 minutes after appointment time but hey it’s an urgent care, better than the wait in ER.

They gave me, a very very pregnant woman, a medication that Im very allergic to. Sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy despite me telling them verbally and putting it on my paper work where I wanted it to go. I told the med assistant that Im not being treated for high blood pressure and she didnt listen, then told the PA Kelsey that I was being treated for it which was 100 percent NOT the reason for my visit despite that being what she focused on. I was hot, tired, uncomfortable and hungry; which I told them but she didnt listen. I got very poor treatment for what I was ACTUALLY THERE FOR.

The PA Chad and the nurse on staff went beyond to care for me and my family. Unfortunately, we were diagnosed with COVID during the holidays. Chad took all measures to make us feel better and comfortable! Even dried some tear’s and prayed, very grateful I would recommend this Access and trust his care 100%

New patient and left with a nice first impression! The receptionist was very friendly as was everyone who helped me. They have a live wait list you can check on your phone so your able to wait in your car if you wish. Loved that! Also was impressed with the Dr. she was friendly and to the point but wasnt rushing.

We went to Access Medical in Claremore, Tiffani, the nurse, did awesome! Very easy to talk to and the NP was so very nice! They made me feel at ease with my child and I would recommend them to anyone.. thank you Access! You did a great job!!

Made an appointment at 4pm already had paperwork completed, waited an hour to be taken back to a room (5pm). Waited another hour to be seen by a provider (6pm)an X-ray taken at 6:20, just needing a note to go back to work. Didn’t get out of the office until 6:40 Why make an appointment if can’t been seen within a timely manner. Staff was friendly just disappointed by the time management.

Short wait, pleasant staff, and considerate care.

We were in quick and they had us out as soon as our tests came back negative and our shot was administered. They let us stay for 15 minutes just to make sure the shot didn’t cause any adverse reactions as well.

This urgent care facility was clean, had a wonderful, friendly staff, and got to me quite quickly for as busy as they were the night that I went in with my ear infection. The PA On call immediately looked into my ears and diagnosed me with having an ear infection in one of my ears and called over two prescriptions to my pharmacy immediately. She was thorough and efficient in her check up. I would return to this urgent care again if I had a situation that called for after hours medical care because of the great care I received. It’s only been a few days and although my ear isn’t all the way healed, it is showinvv signs of improvement.

Best experience at an Urgent Care I have ever had. From the first person I encountered to the last! I was in and out quickly. The facility is clean and beautiful. I was diagnosed quickly and correctly. The treatment prescribed was exactly what I needed! Everyone was courteous, pleasant, smart and efficient. I will make this my go to Urgent Care. And with 3 kids, we go about every 3 months for something.

I had reached the end of my rope. My regular Dr. told me to go to urgent care. I walked in and checked in and within 5 minutes I was in with the provider. Quick assessment and I was on my way. Now that is the way a Dr. Appt. Should be. I had very satisfactory visits the few times I have been here. I would recommend them to everyone. Very informative but still need to go to my primary. Have some more tests run. 5 star

The front desk ladies are amazing. They are both so sweet and understanding! I had UTI symptoms and tried three other urgent cares to get an appointment. They all told me they didn’t have any available. This urgent care was a blessing to me tonight.

Save yourself time and go ANYwhere but here. Used to be such a good facility and now its the complete opposite. Dont fool yourself that having an appointment matters, you get helped no faster than anyone else.Its sad they apparently cant afford to pay 2 doctors to work there.

Checked the online wait time prior to driving to the clinic, which stated there were zero patients in line. Went to the clinic and tried to check-in at the front desk. I was told it would be 3.5 hours before they could get me in to see anyone. There was not a single person in the lobby waiting area and only two cars outside in what I would consider the public parking area. The rude woman at the front desk made a smart remark about how I could be seen if I had a laceration or chest pain, but otherwise would have to come back 3.5 hours later. I was told I was lucky it wasn’t a 5 hour wait.Having to schedule to be seen at an “Urgent care” center for an illness, particularly when there wasn’t a single soul waiting for service is absurd. Especially when it states that walk-ins are welcome on their website. You’re better off seeing your primary care provider. Nothing urgent about the service at this place.

My experience at this facility was AMAZING!! The receptionist was so helpful and the doctor was very professional in addressing my granddaughters condition and even followed up the next day to see how she was doing!! I will definitely go back here when I need to!! : )

Online check-in was super easy. Very little wait time. Front staff friendly and very helpful. Nurse Tiffany very nice and compassionate. Amber Gunther, PAC was absolutely AMAZING! Her bedside manner was such a delightful experience. Her compassion for the patient and family was so refreshing!

Stay was very courteous and nice. Dr was awesome. Wait was a little long but that was too be expected. Highly recommend.

I am receiving Wound Care after a dog bite. Access are providing regular checks to ensure the wound is healing as it should. Antibiotics were stepped up when it wasn’t, and after a third check, a topical antibiotic ointment was recommended twice daily. Recheck will be in another 3 days.

I just had a great experience. Not a long wait. Miranda took my vitals, throat swab, and other things like that and she was super professional and friendly! PA Erin was my prescriber and she was just as friendly and fast! The front desk ladies were super nice and had me checked in quickly. The building was extremely clean and nice!

One star only so I can leave a review, deserves zero. Never have I known an urgent care clinic to require appointments. Thats the whole purpose of urgent care, no appointment needed but not here. You need to schedule sickness to be seen. Absolutely ridiculous. Went to St. Johns and was seen with no trouble. Also, the lady at the desk was EXTREMELY rude! Will never go back here.

The personnel at the front desk was very nice and kind. The nurse taking the info on what was wrong and my vitals seemed concerned about me. The doctor was very thorough, kind, and patient. Answered all my questions. Lab personnel was very nice and great at her job. This facility was very clean, the staff showed interest in the care of the patients. I will return in the future if the need arises.

The receptionist and the nurse were amazing but the physician acted like I was wasting his time.

All things considered, it was a great experience. I went in for a Rona test, and the place was PACKED. The wait was a while, but is expected. All the staff were highly friendly and seemed to genuinely want to help. Plus, they mustve picked up most of the beautiful nurses and Doctors around!

I was treated promptly. I was so sick, and scared. My time in the exam area was great. The doctors Asisstant was professional, thorough and kind. We talked with me, and gave me oxygen, and got my rapid heart rate slowed down. She retested me for covid just to be sure and told me to call if my symptoms got any worst. I left feeling cared for and happy with the results. She said I had some sort of virus but couldnt be sure which kind it was.

Waited 3 hours with hardly any other patients there and they wouldn’t do bloodwork on a child that has been sick for three weeks.

As usual: it went well. Friendly & professional staff.

They were all very kind and cared for all their patients. They did very good and the loved the dr. She was sweet kind and done everything for me.

PA was great. Front office staff was great. Medical assistant…. Not so much. Got frustrated with my autistic son because he got confused between his right and left arm. Was NOT nice whatsoever, was rude. Ignored his questions, acted like my son was a major burden to her. I don’t care whatsoever how bad your day is, you NEVER be rude to a child. She was unprofessional in so many different ways. Will be going to st John’s from now on just to avoid her.

4/16/23. Yet another visit! Been to regular NP but results were not good. Sooo visited my fav go to when I need more attention and drs that will listen to me. Been 3 days and am seeing great results! ALWAYS Top Notch care by Professional Staff! Very Knowlegable, thorough and caring! Includes patient in plan of care and makes sure we understand entire situation. Gets you in quickly and do not leave you sitting in a treatment room waiting for dr. Our entire family feels secure knowing that we have this facility and team available to us when our pcp is unable to beWe were there again today. Their staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and professional! 01/08/21Well got my hand in the middle of my dogs disagreement-got very bad, very fast! AS USUAL-the medical personnel-Drs, PA’s, nurses and medical assistants were on it with a vengeance! It took their watching it daily and a couple of different interventions and eventually a referral to a hand surgeon just to follow up because it was so severe but it looks like I am on the mend! Honestly-such a knowledgeable, caring and professional yet friendly group! My fav place to go if I have a medical need. 10/202107/18/23. Fell and struck my face on a bookshelf. Split my face wide open-3 inner stitches and around probably 6 or 7 on the outside. The NP AMY KING was the best I have EVER had! I did not feel any pain when she did the stitches! No lie-NO PAIN! And the cut was to the cheek bone deep. She is so Excellent! The entire facility and staff are the very best!! Thank you all so very much Access pain and Amy King, PA!!!!7/25/23 Back today to get my stitches out. Wonderful care as usual! 🥰. No pain and she was so careful!!

When I arrived there were approximately 7 people ahead of me. I was seen in a timely manner. I can’t say enough about the staff. From the front desk to the back office. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

The staff was welcoming and warm. The room was so nice and decorative. The medical assistant was attentive and very compassionate. The PAC handled business and got my son taken care of. Plus he got his own blanket to take home. We will be returning to this urgent care. Thank you guys so much.

I have waited here for 45 minutes or more with my son who had a fever and then waited in the room for over 45 minutes for help. Today i made an appointment to try to hold me a spot got there 25 minutes prior to appointment and im still going behind people that got here after me.

This location is the only one in our town that does Covid testing. So I understand it is. It possible to get right in. I made an online appointment for 5:40 PM and arrived at 5:15 PM. I waited until 7:45 PM before I finally went back.That being said, the care I received was exceptional and testing was done on site. My only complaint is the wait. Why have patients schedule online and receive an appointment time when they will have to wait hours to go back?

The lady at the front desk was nice this morning but there is one lady who is just mean as heck and when you dont feel good it kinda pisses you off. All the doctors and Nurses are absolutely awesome very thoughtful and helpful. It went very quickly and I was out of there easy peasy! Thank you so much for being here for our community.

Very unimpressed, I was mis informed about their insurance plan and led to believe I was on one plan and found out later to be on another, each time I have been in it felt like they just wanted to get me out the door and collect their check, when sending prescriptions to my pharmacy they messed something up and I was waiting all day to pick up my medicine. If you need a doctor Id go somewhere else.

This place is so helpful and even has a program if you dont have insurance. Always go when Im not feeling good or have an accident. Usually not too much waiting too.

This clinic is the most efficient, well put together, friendliness staff that I have been to in a long time. Everyone from the front desk all the way to everyone in the back. That includes the tech’s, nurses, secretary and the Doctors. They were very informative and explained everything they were doing to you. The Doctor spent whatever amount of time you needed. I would highly recommend this clinic for all of your minor emergencies and check ups.David Harrington
