I admit I thought I had the absolute best oncologist before I had to switch to Dr.Bowling.I was afraid and unhappy with the change until I met with her.She is the absolute best...she is very informed and informative. She gets straight to the point and is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.Shr immediately eased any fear I had in switching Doctors and I fully trust her and am so happy she is my new Doctor.

If you’re facing health concerns that are gynecological, I’d recommend consulting Dr Bowling if you need surgery. Dr Bowling is amazing! Her surgical skills are unprecedented. She’s a genius. She cares deeply about her patients. My recovery from surgery was quicker than many people who went to other surgeons. I needed only low amounts of pain medicine because the surgery went so well. She’s been my surgeon and my mother’s- excellent outcomes. Her staff are highly motivated and patient focused. My experience with Dr Bowling showed me true dedication to excellence in clinical practice is alive and well. I thank her and the wonderful staff with whom she works.Fun fact: Dr Bowling is a talented dancer I hear!

Dr Bowling took the time to explain everything thoroughly and make sure all my questions were answered at my first appointment. Surgery was 5 days ago and ibuprofen has been enough to keep the level of pain tolerable. She is very professional, informative, caring and relatable and I feel very fortunate to have had someone with her qualifications perform my surgery.

Although I know Dr. Bowling is an excellent doctor, and feel secure in her diagnosis and treatment, I find returning for office visits leaves me very frustrated. Yesterday my appointment time was 1:30: I was greeted by the receptionist in a timely fashion, taken back for vitals, etc.at about 2, and then at about 2:30 taken back to an exam room, told to disrobe, given the usual paper covering. At 3:10, I was still waiting for a human to show up, and, as I had an appointment at 4 elsewhere, thought I would give it a bit longer. At 3:20, I decided that I would have to leave by 3:30, Dr. or no.At 3:28 (and I truly meant to leave in the next two minutes) Dr. Bowling came in, no explanation, no apology. Nothing. 3:35 she was done. I really wanted to bring up an additional concern, but was not about to spend any more time in that office.I realize emergencies come up, but I think the courteous think to do would be to let the patient know she hasnt been forgotten, perhaps even offer to reschedule. Even if a staff member poked their head in to check on my would have been sufficient.This is not the first time my quick post- surgery check took up almost half a day.Needless to say, I was late for the next thing on my agenda, and was running behind the rest of the day, having to forgo another commitment as by that time traffic prevented me from getting there in time.Dr. Bowlings professional skills are beyond reproach, but respect for patient time is lacking.Rosemary Hermanson

I was referred to Dr. Marcia Bowling for surgery due to potential risks and complications. Dr. Bowling is very thorough and has extensive experience in her field. I found her to be brilliant, compassionate, and personable. A rare find indeed. My surgical experience was made far more comfortable thanks to Dr. Bowling.

She had a no nonsense style, but very impersonable. She had no idea who I was or even recognized me when I went in for follow up appointment. She did a great job on the surgery, but thats about it. I received bills from 6 or 7 different places after surgery, which was inconvenient and very difficult to keep up with who youve paid and what amount.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with cancer that included an aggressive component. I was referred to Dr. Marcia Bowling for surgery and treatment. I have no doubt whatsoever that Dr. Bowling and the entire group of doctors and staff at OHC saved my life. They truly care about your wellbeing and there are no hospitals dictating how much time they can spend with you during your visit. If I could give Dr. Bowling and OHC 10 stars, I would!

Dr Bowling was extremely patient and caring when it came to me to have a basic procedure. I know it was simple but my brain was on overload and I was freaked out for no reason and she kept me so calm.She has gone above and beyond trying to find the health issues that are making my life intolerable.Thank you for not giving up on me and helping me understand what body is doing.

Great Dr. But make no plans if you have an appointment with her. Shes never on time. Always running 3-4 hours late. Waiting in office 1st appt of day at 9am, she comes in at 1130 am. No excuse.You know its going to be awhile when youve waited 2 hours and the receptionist brings a tray of snacks and bottled water for !4 people waiting.My wife has a job and they expect her to show up in a timely manor.

Even though I had a wait at my appointment, Dr Bowling took extra time to explain my situation. She gave me information and follow up plan.

Dr. Bowling was very excellent with my mother. She explained everything to us and what had to be done. She didnt hold anything back. She is excellent.

I think its funny that Google took off my previous post. DO NOT go to this Dr. Avoid her like the plague!!! She has ABSOLUTELY NO bedside manner and talk to you like youre garbage. While she did a great job on the surgery I will NEVER go to her again!!!

Excellent skilled surgeon. Great patient education. Receptive to questions.
