Ajit Gubbi, DO

Dr. Gubbi makes the journey of gynecological cancer less frightening. He is a skilled surgeon, he thoroughly explains everything and includes the patient in her care plan. I cannot speak too highly of him His staff, Kim and Kate, are excellent.Dr. Gubbi is very kind. Even though he is a busy doctor, he make you feel like you are his only patient and takes time to listen.

Everything is run like clockwork at OHC. Everyone knows their job and seems efficient at it. No long waits to be seen by the doctors. Doctor Gubbi is very concerned about his patients welfare. He always makes sure I know what’s happening. His expertise is phenomenal. His bed side manner is terrific. He is friendly and explains things clearly. I’m glad I got the best doctor to take care of me.

Dr. Gubbi is great Dr for cancer, he explains everything so you have less worries. Dr. Gubbi made me cancer free now for going on 3 years. If you need a great, understanding, caring cancer doctor. Dr. Gubbi is a saint. He has been treating my wife’s ovarian cancer for almost 5 years. He goes above and beyond in that he takes the time to fully explain every step in the treatment process. He is never too busy for a patient. We have had several emergencies during non work hours and he has always responded quickly to our calls to the OHC call center. He exemplifies empathy. His staff nurse Kim is also extremely helpful. I can’t recommend Dr Gubbi highly enough.

Dr Gubbi Is a wonderful gynecological oncologist. He is very concerned, patient, friendly and caring. His staff is also great and I highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr. Gubbi for three years now for stage 4 ovarian cancer. Dr Gubbi is kind, compassionate and caring. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else for my gynecological care. He takes his time when you see him and makes you feel like you are the most important patient. He listens to everything you have to say and answers all of your questions. Dr. Gubbi also has a way of explaining things to you that make you feel better and always makes me feel hopeful when I leave the office.I would highly recommend Dr. Gubbi to anyone who needs a gynecologist for this horrible disease.

My mother worked with dr. Gubbi for about 3 years, I feel like they were pretty good with helping her with her ovarian cancer, right up until the end. She fought so hard and the clinical trial they had her on had her very sick a lot but, she was still powering through. 2 days before she passed she was at a family function feeling pretty good and, moving around well. However, the drs. Failed to realize that the cancer had spread to her brain, even after months and months of poking and prodding and testing and scanning. I understand that ovarian cancer is very hard but, I feel like someone should have known that it had spread to the brain. I’m still in shock and at a loss for words.

After my surgery Dr.Gubbi has a great bed side manner. In addition he is knowledgeable and provides a level of care that is amazing. Even at my appointment in his office he was just as compassionate and caring.

I was sent to Dr. Gubbi after what I thought was belly weight gain turned out to be a huge mass growing from my ovary. He is a straight shooter. He told me exactly what was going on and what he had to do to fix it which was a bit overwhelming to me...but at the same time there is a calm in his eyes and voice that let me know that I was going to be just fine. And I was. By the grace of God that huge mass turned out to be benign. But even if it had been cancer I know that I would have been getting the best and most compassionate care around. I am blessed to have landed in his care.

Dr. Gubbi is upbeat, friendly and concerned - Im lucky to have someone helping me to reach my hopeful goal of 90 years old! I highly recommend him!
