Rose Gynecology

I went in for what I thought would only be a pap. But when I tell you they have done much more for me with testing my hormones and much more. This is the first time I’ve had a pap done and it did not hurt me. I’m thrilled for the medical attention and glad they are helping me get to a healthy me again. My visits so far have been with Danielle Martin and she makes me feel comfortable and not ashamed or embarrassed talking about my body, I’m a very nervous person when it comes to these kind of appointments and wish I had found them sooner and not put this kind of visit off for so long because this office has been a huge blessing to find. They have been persistently keeping up with me about my lab results even when I’m horrible at calling back. Thank you!

I did not like this doctor. Her bedside manner needs improvement as the few appointments I had with her, she could be quite cold. She didn’t explain what lab results meant in depth so I left appointments worried, she gave me wrong statistics in person than the papers she gave me to look over, and dismissed my concerns of pain and anxiety for IUD placements with just take ibuprofen. Overall, her communication was rude and unclear. I have since moved out of Cincinnati, blocked this offices number, and have been more relieved to see a new doctor. My new doctor really made me realize how much of a disappointment my previous experiences here were.

I’ve been a patient at Rose for several years. Customer service is incredible and her 2022 Top Doc of Cincinnati Award speaks for itself.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I cannot say enough about how great everybody at Rose Gynecology is! Dr. Rose has great bedside manner and has never failed to make me feel comfortable. She addresses questions and concerns with such grace and patience. She has also taken the time to know me, and provided quality educational resources for me. She is also very proactive with care and assures her patients are safe and healthy. In addition, every receptionist I have spoken with has been delightful and kind. I had so many issues with insurance coverage, and the office did everything in their power to assist with these issues. I am forever grateful that I go to Rose Gynecology for my care!

I absolutely love this practice. Dr. Rose has good availability when you need to get in at a moment’s notice. She is fast, friendly, and great at her job. The nurse she works with helps to make an uncomfortable visit a lot more comfortable and the woman who works at the front desk is extremely kind! This is a great place to go for anyone, but especially those newer to these kinds of doctors!

Dr. Rose is incredible, caring, and kind. The staff is amazing! It’s rare to find a place that can combine personal and professional so perfectly! If you are looking for a new gyno, I highly recommend Dr. Rose!

I haven’t had a great experience so far… She did a pap smear for me and told me it was “abnormal” that the pap smear hurt and said I might have an infection because it hurt. I discussed with my female friends and they said that pap smears DO hurt. Then I got lab results back, and I was clear of STIs… However, my lab results were sent to me that said “cell abnormality ” without a doctors explanation along with them. I googled what the terms were on the report and there was mentions of cancer associated with those terms. I had to call and request an explanation of the labs and then they made me schedule an appointment for 2 weeks out for the explanation. I do NOT understand why their lab is sending lab results to patients without the doctor reviewing it and commenting first.. Ever since my first visit I’ve had constant worrying. Between the “you might have an infection comment” and now the lab result worrying. I don’t think my experience here has been very professional. The only good thing so far has been their front desk staff who are SO kind.

Dr. Rose does not run a professional practice. I can’t speak to her ability as a physician, but as a business person and manager of her own practice, she’s very poor. She doesn’t value other small businesses and owners who work hard in their fields of expertise, and thinks she “knows how to do it all” (despite having hired others to help her). TheShe’s very disrespectful of many.

I went to this Rose Gynecology practice for about 3-4 years. This year, I was forced to get a new doctor due to insurance plan coverage.Here is my feedback on Rose Gynecology:1. If your plan updates, be sure to check immediately if the practice falls within your network. This will not be checked upon your visits. Youll be forced to pay out of pocket and you wont be told until the claim is denied.2. The Dr. is satisfactory if youre just going for tests and have no concerns or if youre just interested in perscription solutions. I had a procedure done by the Dr. and nothing has been the same for me since. Im not even sure if the procedure was necessary looking back.3. I felt like the practice focused on billing codes and optimizing payment versus really problem solving or recommending non prescription solutions.Ill just say these final comments: Since leaving, I am very happy with the bedside manners, solutioning /recommendations in my newest practice. I feel cared about and like my doctor is willing to use her knowledge to make my health the best it can be. Dont settle if its not feeling good.

Nothing but good things to say here. The front desk is helpful and friendly, Dr. Rose is very professional and takes her time with you, i have never felt rushed at all in any of my appointments. It’s definitely quality care, and I feel like Nurse Kelsie deserves special recognition she is amazing!!

I don’t typically post reviews but I feel compelled to in this instance. I would not recommend this practice to other women. I have been going to Dr. Rose for a couple years and I have always had great experiences with her nurse practitioner, Kelsey. However, Kelsey left and I recently met with Dr. Rose for the first time. She examined me for about one minute and told me that she was going to run a test for something very serious and scary, and then she just left. She didn’t ask me if I had any questions and she didn’t tell me if she was coming back. I was trying to ask her questions as she seemed to be running out the door. Afterward, I told the nurse I had questions for the doctor and was told that I had to wait because she was on a call with another patient. I waited about 30 minutes feeling very isolated and embarrassed. I was told I would get my results in the patient portal in 3-5 days. After about 2 weeks of not receiving my results, I called and was told by the nurse that my results were negative. I did not receive any other information or feedback from Dr. Rose about what else it could have been if that test was negative. I shared this experience with three different friends who have been to Dr. Rose and all three of them shared similar experiences to me. I hate to be negative but I don’t want other young women to go through that, especially with such sensitive medical matters.

Dr. Rose is a great doctor - smart, knowledgeable, and diligent about keeping up with the latest medical research. She is also warm, kind, and a careful listener. Dr. Rose has performed several very successful procedures on me and is currently helping me through all of the transition of menopause. Her office staff is exceptional - and the whole experience of being a patient there is totally opposite to the sterile atmosphere we seem to experience so frequently in today’s medical environment. I highly recommend Dr. Rose and her staff to any woman who seeks top-notch care, administered with dignity and the highest level of expertise.

DO NOT GO TO DR ROSE! Traumatic experience, rude doctor, inaccurate record keeping! The WNHP, Kelsey, is fantastic. She made me feel comfortable and heard during my first visit to the gynecologist. Unfortunately I cannot say the same of Dr. Rose. During a procedure with Dr. Rose, she was incredibly uncommunicative, even though I requested her to walk me through what she was doing as we went along. I had to ask multiple times throughout the procedure what she was doing / where we were in the process. Even more concerning, she recorded several facts incorrectly in my chart. She recorded a sexual assault that had taken place 10 years prior as having happened the week before my visit and as ongoing, it was added to my chart that I had previously had a cystectomy (which I have not), and the reason listed for obtaining birth control was pelvic pain, which I have never had. When I called the office after reviewing the visit notes, the receptionist (who has always been kind and respectful) left a note for Dr. Rose to review, but upon following up the next week I learned that Dr. Rose would not adjust the incorrect notes in my chart. Because of the false information that has been recorded in my permanent medical records, I have had billing issues with insurance for products that should have been fully covered. Dr. Roses lack of communication, coarse and hurtful responses to genuine questions, and severely inaccurate record keeping has left me with greater distrust and discomfort in seeking future medical and preventative care in the womens health field. I will not be returning and will caution those I know to only see Kelsey if they choose to utilize this practice.

I am so grateful I found Dr. Rose. She is not only my gynecologist but she is also my daughters. Her office is a beautiful old house and the waiting room includes a fireplace, soothing colors, and great music.The staff is always warm and welcoming. DR. Rose knows her stuff. She is ahead of her time in many ways. She treat the whole person not just our parts.

I had my first appointment today and saw the NP, Kelsey. I am so happy I booked my appt here. I never disliked my previous gynecologist.. but my appointments always felt business like and rushed. Today was the total opposite! For the first time in years I felt like my concerns were actually listened to and not just heard. Kelsey and her nurse offered valid and detailed explanations of possible causes/ solutions and took action to follow up soon to be sure it was nothing more. Their front desk lady was also super sweet and explained everything very thoroughly (from paperwork and payment expectations to instructions for my follow up appt). It can be hard to feel completely comfortable at the lady doctor but I can say I felt totally comfortable with these ladies. They were all so caring, friendly, and attentive. Thank you all so much. I am very happy I found you!

After just moving into the area and being in the midst of a personal medical hardship, I needed a gynecologist and was concerned about how I would treated due to past doctor experiences.Everything at Dr. Roses office was wonderful. The waiting room is calming, the receptionists are nice, nursing staff is always interested in my work and school, and Dr. Rose has me in and out with my questions answered, and feeling good about the rest of my day.

New patient to Rose and her team. I had a very easy going and welcoming experience. I recommend to anyone who is looking for a new obgyn to go see the team there! Kelsey was patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions and concerns. Kylee was friendly and efficient through her process with me.

I’ve always had tough luck finding a gynecologist who made me feel comfortable. After my first visit at Rose Gynecology, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. The staff was very welcoming and super informative. Kelsey made me feel valid in my concerns and really took the time to listen to me. Dr Rose and staff have always been amazing and straight forward. I live in NKY and I will not see anyone else, shes helped me understand whats happening in my body and worked with me on figuring out the right course of treatment to lose weight, infertility, surgery, pregnancy, migraines and more. Definitely will recommend.

Dr. Rose is by far the best physician I’ve ever seen. She’s incredibly thorough in her work, and spends a great deal of time with her patients. It is very apparent how knowledgeable she is, the best in her field! I recommend Dr. Rose to all of my family and friends- she is just that good!!

Such amazing care, doctors and nurses that seem to really genuinely care about me as a patient. Comfortable setting, will put you at ease, and unmatched bedside manner. I have been going here for years, and continue to go here, even without my insurance covering, I am willing to pay out of pocket because they are just that good.

I moved from North Dakota and was in search to find a local doctor in Cincinnati. I was nervous since I have a complex medical history of endometriosis, and I’ve visited multiple gynecologists over the country. Dr. Rose is the most educated, patient, and understanding doctor I’ve experienced. The “15 minute” office visit doesn’t apply here. She’s thorough, honest, and I’ve always felt I was getting the best care. I felt this way the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the receptionist. Dr. Rose’s nurse, Kylee is more than amazing! She listens because she cares and makes you feel extremely comfortable; I couldn’t say enough good things about her. I can’t thank these two enough for everything they’ve done for me and how my life has changed for the better.

My experience thus far has been magnificent, as these things go. Dr. Rose is experienced, very knowledgeable, caring and concerned, and responsive to patient needs. Takes time with patients to promote a level of comfort and understanding that I have not experienced with any other doctor. Does not rush through appointments, but sits and spends time with the patient to address all concerns and questions without making one feel guilty for taking up too much time, and doesnt watch the clock while in the room with you! Very well versed in all manner of gynecological issues and is current with medical knowledge and treatment. This is the best care I have received from any doctor, ever. I cant say enough positive about Dr. Rose.

I had a little bit of a rough start at the practice, but now that Dr. Rose knows me things have been really great. Very attentive to treatments and adjustments as needed. Very informed and kind practice. I recommend Dr. Rose, especially if you think you might have PMDD and other doctors havent believed you.

Dr. Rose and staff have been nice and welcoming every time that Ive been there. They thoroughly explained everything to me and my mom when I had to have a procedure done. My major complaint is the lack of communication there. The last time that I went I was told by 2 different employees that someone would call no matter my results. I never received a call and when I called them they said they never call unless the results arent normal. Also, I had to have a procedure done and since the office is small they do it at a hospital. Dr. Rose was late for the appointment and didnt apologize or give any explanation.

Dr. Rose and all her staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and endlessly helpful. I’m so glad another doc made the recommendation to see Dr. Rose as it is definitely the ideal practice for me. Her offices are peaceful and comfortable and I’m confident that I’m getting the highest possible care.

Dr. Rose’s staff are all so easy to work with, they are kind, professional and very communicative. It’s easy to call and get an appointment. Dr. Rose makes you feel comfortable talking with her and makes any diagnosis’s or recommendations easy to understand. I always enjoy my experience when I go!

After battling issues that no one else seemed to listen to, I found Dr. Rose and I couldn’t be more grateful for her and her wonderful staff. She has helped to work with me so much and told me things other doctors neglected to. I even moved about an hour away and still continue to go to her because of the care I receive there.

Everyone is very friendly and comforting, from the front desk to the nurses to Dr. Rose. All information is given upfront, including prices. The office staff is very easy to contact; if you can’t reach them over the phone they have a patient portal system where you can message them. Great experience and fully anticipate visiting this facility again.

When I was having trouble getting pregnant - every OB I saw was very unhelpful because I appeared healthy. Dr Rose actually looked deeper to discover my lean PCOS. She’s very knowledgeable and takes her time. After giving birth, I returned to her practice because I knew I would receive focused and knowledgeable care.

Was very nice my first ever visit there however I never received any information back on my test results. No phone call or email. Two weeks later I called them to ask since I had heard nothing and my symptoms were still there. They scheduled me another appointment but this time it was rushed and I felt as if she didn’t care or even so just did not believe the pain I was feeling because what they tested me for was negative. She went ahead and treated me for my previous issue though. I drove over an hour to see a specialist, I thought I would get more help.

They are very thorough and will get you in quickly if are having an issue. They do not just throw medicine at you, they make sure it will fix the issue you’re having and give you something to help you in the meantime. It’s all women which makes me feel more comfortable. All of the women there are so sweet! Not only have they cared about helping me with my medical issues but they all take it a step further to get to know me. I love it there !

Dr. Rose is absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and thorough. I love the sole practitioner experience; I feel valued and cared for, not just a face that blends into the crowd. The staff is very warm and welcoming .

Dr Rose is incredible. She genuinely cares about me as a patient and wants to make sure that I am healthy. I had a recent scare and I had to call her emergency line and she called me back within ten minutes. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is searching for a new gynecologist.

Dr Rose came into my life as I started Menopause. I was at my wits end with lack of sleep and depression. I couldn’t figure out the lack of sleep on my own and honestly the depression was just a result of no sleep! My hot flashes were so overwhelming…if my spine had a human zipper, the flames of Hell would have exploded if you had unzipped my spine…no joke!! 10 years later and I’m through the worst of it and with Dr. Rose’s medical knowledge in women’s health, she enhanced my life and gave me a reason to get up everyday! I told her one time, I don’t know if I can get through this…” her response was, “You will; you might be different but you will get through it!” Boy was she right…and I love the woman I am today! Dr Rose rocks!! My daughter now sees her too!!

She misdiagnosed me and caused me to lose my fertility. I thought perhaps my experience was a fluke, however several of my friends have visited her and have all been misdiagnosed as well. We were treated for conditions we did not have, and all sought second opinions from other providers. Our actual diagnoses were very common conditions, including endometriosis and fibroids. Ive never experienced a provider that was so oblivious to the more common female reproductive issues.She will treat you for STDs, even if you do NOT have an STD. Thats all she is good for.My friend and I both needed surgery to correct our issues. Our treatment from Dr. Rose was simply a round of antibiotics....

Im in shock there are good reviews for Dr Rose. I saw her one time and it was several years ago. Absolutly a horrible and scarring experience. I think i was told i was her last new patient before she moved to France for a while. Maybe thats why she was so awful to me, bc she was moving out of the country and would never see me again. I heard shes back in Hyde Park and came here just to make a review.She was disrespectful, and rude to the point I have never returned to any gyno. She purposely embarrassed me and I should have reported her then. Women, if something bad happens, tell someone. I know we shy away and blame ourselves, get embarrassed etc, but its not your fault. Some people are just horrible and they shouldnt be allowed to act this way. Im writing this only for other patients, so they can avoid this situation. She was so mean and unprofessional that even her assistant walked out of the room. I wont go into detail, its prob TMI already but I promise you, you can do better than this lady.

New to the city and was looking for a place that wasn’t scary or 15 days out for 1st appointment. I won. The office was super cozy and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. The receptionist, NP, DR... everything was awesome. Happy to have a new lady doc!

I have been going to Rose Gynecology for over 3 years now. I recommend them to all my friends. The staff has always been nothing but pleasant. Dr. Rose is so nice and patient.

Friendly, very inclusive and non-judgmental. Check-up procedure was quick and painless. Kelsey was lovely! I was put at ease immediately, and was able to have honest conversations about birth control.

Dr. Rose is one of the few doctors I have met that actually listen to me, take the time to ask relevant questions and provide sensible answers. She is the best Gyno I’ve been to in over 40 years!

Ive been seeing Dr. Rose for over a year and have had consistently positive experiences both with her and her entire staff.

My daughter was billed for a second office visit during her annual exam , I was told because she asked about an issue she was having, she was told by her nurse practioner Kelsey Irvin, to keep a journal, that was it then cha-ching $250, a second visit charge during the annual exam that was already being billed. They double dip, its WRONG DR ROSE, WHATS WORSE? ITS COMMON PRACTICE FOR THEM!!! Taking advantage of young women as well as their insurance companies. My daughers office visit totalled $585.50. SHAME ON YOU ROSE GYNOCOLOGY

I love this place and the people that work here! It’s very important to feel comfortable and welcomed when going to a gynecologist. They take me serious and handle things in a professional manner.

Love this office. Very responsive to my needs while still being very personable (only one doctor and one nurse practitioner) that know me well (like not playing musical chairs with different staffing).

Have gone round and round with this office. Fed up with not getting the help I’ve paid for and being unheard. The doctor was wearing dirty sandals last visit, super gross and unprofessional.
