Planned Parenthood - Chico Health Center

One of the best places you can go. 13/10 recommended. The nurses and the docs are incredibly friendly and well educated. They are kind and understanding. Their office is beautiful and welcoming. I felt very comfortable, listened to, and informed. Highly recommend if youre in need of health care.

The services this PPH provides are not only medically superb but their thoughtfulness is stellar. Friday mornings protestors are preaching to the cars and trying to block people from getting services so PPH provides escorts to help shield clients from the harassment. They care.

This planned parenthood is the exact reason I have such a hard time making appointments. I made an appointment online, walked in early for my appointment and stood and waited for 3-5 minutes and was not addressed, even though the 2 females behind the desk finished with the patients they had and then shut their windows. So I sat down, another female walked in and was immediately acknowledged and so i continued to wait another 15 minutes and still was not acknowledged so I walked out. It was not busy, the ladies behind the glass were having a full conversation though so Im not quite sure why they couldnt acknowledge me. They seemed to have plenty of time on their hands

They never gave me my results after an assault that I was ALREADY scared to come in and talk about/get examined for.

I waited two hours just to see a doctor for less than 5 minutes. Id rate it lower, but the staff was very kind. If you want to schedule an appointment, clear your day because itll take a huge chunk out of it.

Getting a vasectomy scheduled was a bit of a hassle but the staff and doctors are very knowledgeable and I appreciate the care and time they gave me. Most places will tell you the min and try to get you out the door but they cleared up any questions and could go more indepth than I even knew was possible with the subject.Carlos was especially nice and made me feel very comfortable talking about very private things.

Amazing place, the staff were some of the nicest Ive met. Long waits and appointment time but its very thorough and theyre very caring. It was never feeling like Im wastinv my time. Props to RN Bryan! Love your hair!

After a number of bad physician clinics, I was stressed out and I almost gave up hope with taking care of my healthcare issues. When I found this place it was like a breath of fresh air. They totally relieved me of my stress and the customer service was great. They made me feel comfortable during my entire visit. Most of all I have Medicaid health insurance and I was not treated nothing less than a five star patient. I would totally recommend this place for all your Gynecological needs!!!!!

This location used to have a great staff and although there’s always been a wait it used to be worth it. Some of the staff are kind of rude and short with you. I waited just under forty minutes to be seen and the visit to pick up meds took another twenty five minutes. My recommendation is plan for plenty of time sitting at this location.

No point in making an appointment. Walk-ins will be given priority and served first. Thankful for the services provided but the people inside are so disorganized. Get your **** together reception!

The _only_ reason Ill mark this down a star is that the wait time is ridiculous. Like, I needed bloodwork done to monitor my testosterone and I waited two hours, one hour in the room. Have a free day if you need to visit, Im tellin you.Im sure this is relevant to mention for some: I am transitioning, and was recommended here. As an FtM (no where near as common, apparently) its been difficult to find areas offering services at all, and even then its all MtF.They do not, I repeat, NEVER HAVE AND DO NOT offer trans services in any way and youll have to go to Sacramento or Redding for it. They have no idea why people keep being recommended there and are accommodating in giving you as soon as possible appointment at another location, but two hours away is a bit much.

If I could give zero stars I would. You should only go here if you have the time to wait all day. I have been going for a few months now and EVERY time I have an appointment i wait at least 40 minutes! I check in at least 5-10 minutes early and always have an appointment. I will definitely be finding somewhere else for my health services. This place is ridiculous.

If I could rate this zero I totally would. Planned Parenthood used to be my favorite place to go to for my personal needs but now all I get is attitude and eye rolls from most of the staff, some are decent.Ive tried pretty much all the birth control out there except the ring so when I went in today to get that horrible Nexplanon out of my arm. Not only were they trying to convince me to keep the Nexplanon in, I felt like I was being judged by the doctor for wanting it out and then she refused to let me try the ring because 4 years ago I seen spots while on the pill. The doctor before I left decided for me to push these progestin birth control pills on me the I said I didnt want. I took them so I could get out of there. I refuse to go back there from now on, I only went there because my gynecologist I just started going to had a busy schedule and the nexplanon was causing me pain. Very disappointed, they give planned Parenthood a bad name.

They are very helpful and understanding workers. They have a way of making you at ease and acomidating. There is often a long wait but that is largely because they do such quality care. The waiting room is super comfortable and they have free WiFi!

They over scheduled and cancelled me or reschedule for almost a month out. Super disappointed and bummed since I live far ways out and drove there.

Worst planned parenthood ever. You can make an appointment and have other people get called into the office who had an appointment after you. Been waiting for an hour and still have not gotten called in. Terrible service

If youre a man they wont help you with certain things even if over phone on website says they will

You guys need more front desk people I’ve literally waited 20 or more minutes just to get checked in & the line was pretty long. Answering phones before even checking us in too step it up

No where on earth have I felt more respected in my identity and medical needs than at this Planned Parenthood, incredibly essential service

I’m surprised to see all of these negative commentsI found everyone that helped me today to be super knowledgeable and really sweetI was in and out in 30 minutesSupport PP and their hard workers, they’re are so amazing at this location!♥️
