Garden OBGYN Cedarhurst

So amazing!!! Saw me the second I arrived, incredibly friendly and attentive and understanding. My previous gynecologist did me wrong (gave me misinformation about menopause, so I didn’t realize I was now firmly in it, and also wasn’t available to reach when I needed him, so I’m feeling very “down with the patriarchy” at this point with my healthcare, ha!), and it was all women who gave me so much information, I’m only angry I didn’t find them sooner! The waiting room and all the rooms were also so beautiful and comfortable. I didn’t get a chance to wait, but I won’t mind when I have to!

Time in the waiting room was a little longer than I expected, but once I got into an exam room it was very quick and easy. all workers there were kind and understanding and made me feel comfortable.

My experience the day of the visit was great. My only criticism is that in the weeks prior I received too many texts, phone calls, and emails in order to confirm the visit. I can understand confirming one time but the number of times that I was contacted via numerous methods was ridiculous. I was called five times within one hour from three different phone numbers to confirm this appointment after I had already confirmed it both via email and through text message.

Dr Glasser Caine is a highly informed Gynecologist on HRT having completed her training with the Menopause Society. She is the epitome of a warm, kind, and knowledgeable physician. She listened to my concerns and responded with thoughtful solutions. I have searched for a gynecologist who can assist me on my menopause journey and I found a doctor I feel comfortable and confident in achieving my goals in my menopausal years. Highly recommend!Cynthia

They really help you, the attention is good. The doctors nurses in general all the staff are in charge of making you feel very comfortable.quiet environment. They dont make you wait long time and you can make your appointment online to be attended the same day.

Penina PA in the Cedarhurst location was very pleasant and patient while discussing the gun test results. She was also very kind while giving insight on the manner for my daughter. Thank you so much.

Unprofessional, unorganised. Taking over 2 weeks to get results of the simple lab tests. Will not release my records without “the doctor” release, from the doctor who was not the same doctor examining me. 🤯 Dear ladies, go elsewhere!

Other than the 9 texts, 5 phonecalls and 3 emails that I got between Thursday- Wednesday after booking my appointment, and the 2 texts that I received asking me for a review whilst I was still in the building, I have no complaints. The office staff were very nice and welcoming, the office is clean and the Drs are great!

I was pleasantly surprised by me being seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. I enjoyed my visit I was not made to feel unimportant.

I usually hate going to the GYN. Ive always been intimidated and uncomfortable and have been hopping around different doctors and even delaying appointments. I was so grateful to find this office. From the moment I walked in to when I left, I was treated with nothing but kindness and consideration. The PA, medical assistant, receptionist, and techs were all so kind and comforting - not to mention efficient. I was out of there within 30 minutes. I walked in terrified and nervous but left skipping happily - literally. Im 99% certain that my search for a long term gyn is over. Very grateful for the staff here.

Dr. Glasser is an amazing kind caring Dr. She takes her time to get to know her patients. I love her.

Love this place.I’m new to the area n I only been here once. the staff was super friendly. The doctor wasn’t not rough and asked questions which I appreciate. The appointment was fast as well. They also let me bring my baby with me which is a big plus for me.

The location was so clean. The staff were quick and courteous and made me feel at ease. It was my first time here but wont be my last. Its so hard to find doctors and locations who actually care for you.

I was able to make a same day appointment because of symptoms I was having. I arrived and the entire office staff was extremely friendly. Super helpful and informative! I had an unknown ectopic pregnancy at the early stages and they immediately saw it and recommended me to the hospital. The same day the hospital performed emergency surgery and saved me from a lot of unwanted permanent injuries. I’m so grateful that the staff helped me. Especially Jazmin and Dr. Shana. Thank you!

The Garden OB/GYN was a wonderful place to receive a Mammogram and a Pelvic exam. From the walk in office to meeting the medicsl practitioners everyone was kind and above all professional. I was very impressed with the service that I received. The nurses and doctors are great and so was the secretary and clerks. This was my first visit and I will return again. I highly recommend it. Just parking needs improvement but that has nothing to do with the great service from the staff from the OBG/YN Cedarhurst office.Sincerely,Rachelle Pollas

Everyone in the office is just amazing, very loving and caring!!! I’ve been to other offices within garden Obgyn but the Cedarhurst is by far the best one!!! You’re not waiting hours and hours like you do in all the other offices. You’re in and out which is the best!!! They definitely make u feel like family!!! Jasmine is by far the most Amazon person ever!! She really is involved with her patients and I love that!!!

They provide COMPASSIONATE CARE. Ive gone to other places in the past just to be treated with disrespect, but here Im treated with dignity and kindness. Theyre always able to accommodate an appointment within a reasonable about of time, theres never a wait and they listen to my needs. Theyre efficient, clean and detailed. I love Garden.

I had an appointment for IUD Implantation. It was extremely painful, however the clinical staff treated me kindly and constantly allowed me breaks. The practice was closed by this time as well. PA Shana and the other technicians in that room were amazing. I really appreciate, how they cheered me on. Recommend this clinic for IUD implantation!!

Shana Hoch PC is incredible. I’m so happy I will Only goTo Cedarhurst just to see her. She is so empathetic and gentle. I’ve had procedure in the past with other doctors that were excruciating but she is so gentle and thorough I trust only her!

I like them way better than the garden city location . Wait times are not long at all !!! Garden city could never !!! Also they’re the ones who properly diagnosed me for Endo after garden city had been telling me for years my pain was normal . Love them

Love this location. Came here for my very first pregnancy and they did a fantastic job of caring for me and my little girl while inside of mom. The girls are always so lovely, kind and make me laugh. I’ve continued to come here even after my daughter’s birth for my annual check-up and birth control method because they are all so amazing. Dr. Shana Hoch is a sweetheart that gives attentive care and keeps you well informed about exactly what is happening and what she is doing. 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend this wonderful place.

This is truthfully, truthfully, the only Garden OB/GYN office that Ive hated. The incompetence that Ive encountered here, is really one for the books. The wait times are outrageous. Ive experienced the same amount of wait time whether the office was slow or busy. The doctors move on their own time. Ive had to walk out due to the doctor just being in her office on her phone. Ive had a good experience with one doctor who was very thorough with me. Its crazy. Theres definitely employees that care, but if you have a lot of patience & free time, I recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! I was a little nervous after reading the most recent reviews of this location, but it turned out to be a great experience. I waited for about an hour, but I also got to my appt a few minutes late so that was expected. Once I was taken back I was taken care of and the doctor made me feel super comfortable and was very helpful.

Everyone at the cedarhurst office is amazing! Very kind, and helpful. The sono tech is absolutely fantastic and is the sweetest! I am so happy to have her every time for a sonogram. The medical assistants are very sweet & the PA Shana (not sure if I am spelling her name right) is wonderful. She never makes me feel rushed and always takes the time to go over everything and answer my questions. Being extremely high risk and having to be seen there once every 2 weeks and then be seen in between at the lake success office my entire pregnancy has been very stressful but they are all a great team and I highly recommend the entire staff in the cedarhurst office

Nice and polite staff. Waiting furniture could be cleaner and dusted/cleaned, broken toilet paper holder and broken paper towel dispenser in the patient bathroom. Water fountain out of service.

The girls here were so sweet! I was definitely nervous coming in but they made sure i was comfortable :) loved everybody there!! Definitely making sure all the girls in my family visit the doctor here!

It was my first time at this office today and I’m glad I had to change GYN ( insurance reasons) because this place had amazingly honest people here and it was a very clean place.

Exceptional service! Staff was more than helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The office was clean and social distancing was in place so I felt very safe there during COVID. Wait times weren’t too bad and everything went along smoothly.

The cedarhurst location I go too is very professional always friendly very clean the wait time is not long. I used to go the forest hills location and LongIsland location absolutely horrible not professional at all. So thank you cedarhurst for you warmly welcome.

Let me preface this review by saying I love garden OBGYN GARDEN CITY’S location, so I was extremely excited that they were opening an office close my house. This location does not hold the same standard as the other offices I’ve been too. I scheduled an 8:20 am apt for routine blood work. I was checked in immediately and my vitals were taken. However the doctor took over 45 minutes to come see me. I tried to get the doctors attention before I left, I made eye contact with her and called her over to just be ignored. So I got dressed and went to the front desk to ask for my refund of my co pay since I didn’t get what I requested done. Then the Doctor walks over and notified the receptionist that the patient had left even though I was standing right there.I explained to her what happened and she shrugged. This new office needs to work on their time management. I understand that a doctors office is a business and they are not working for me, however I value my time to I would have never waited 45 minutes in Garden City just for routine bloodwork. Garden OBGYN Cedarhurst please do better.

The Cedarhurst location of Garden Ob/gun has been the fastest, easiest experience visit I’ve had this far. All the employees were super helpful and the doctor took her time explaining everything to me.

0 Star . I have been with Garden OBGYN for over 6 years . I had an appointment scheduled with the Massapequa location and was given a call the night before saying that they had to cancel my appointment with no reason why and could reschedule me to the Cedarhurst location, which is even closer. I walk into the office and there were 5-6 patients surrounding the receptionist extremely upset because they were being told they were not going to be seen due to their i guess only Nurse or MD calling out. Worst part is that there was other people in the building who are most likely more than qualified to take Vitals and input basic information into the system. I did ask to see if they could at least do a sonogram and see the doctor to make sure everything was Okay since I am 6 months pregnant and haven’t had an appointment in over a month. I was told that it would be against NY state law if they did that and skip the 1st step. I was very upset by the time I left the building. The location opens at 1 pm on Thursday and my appointment was at 2:30pm. They could have at least given me a call to cancel my appointment instead of wasting my time. The Receptionist was very helpful and was trying her best to help all the upset yelling customers as all the other medical “professionals” there just ignored all the commotion. One woman even said she drove from Jersey. I did reach out to Garden OBGYN directly and spoke with a supervisor Cecillia who was very helpful. I did set up an appointment with a different location. After this experience I will not be returning to any of Garden OBGYN locations after this last appointment and I definitely do not recommend this Cedarhurst office.. I am currently 6 months pregnant and most of there office are still not allowing your spouse into the sonogram room due to COVID-19 but have also have no alternative for the father to to be part.

Great office! It’s very clean and organized, short wait time and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.

It’s ok but I’ve been here twice for check ups and taken up to 2 hrs total time (most of it just waiting) got a parking fine last time... so be prepared. Level of care seems to be decent and the place looks ok.

I went there and had a decent experience however. I had to change a prescription and they just dont answer the phone. I dont understand how you have 5-6 women sitting at the front desk and nobody answers the phone. I had to call another location just to get a prescription change. This is a serious problem that is being taken lightly.
