I was unfortunately left with a negative impression due to the unprofessional demeanor of the front desk receptionist. Very rude receptionist who wanted me to disclose my health concerns in front of other patients. Wanting to violate my HIPAA rights. I feel like i was being forced to disclose my health concerns infront of a full lobby of patients. After telling her my concern she printed out the definition of ob gyn and told me that an ob gyn is not an specialist. Very rude and insulting. Poor customer service skills. She also went on to say that the treatment that I would have received today will not help very much because the most that they could do was a pregnancy test. This felt very invalidating to my concern and felt like I no longer wanted to see the doctor. I’m not sure why the front desk individual is giving medical advice.
Austin the PA was very knowledgeable and he gave me the medication I need. The nurse was good too. It was very quick and easy visit. I recommend this clinic to everyone who needs urgent care.
Front staff is very rude and unclear with the initial intake. The girl with tattoos on her face was not clear that I would be charged +$500 for.a covid and flu test. I understand the high employee rotation in this location.
The visit went very well. Its always smart to expect a wait when you just walk-in, but even with three people ahead of me, the wait wasnt as long as I expected. The nurse was attentive and the doctor was effective, over all it was an amazing experience!
Woke up late thursday night with an insect bite on my leg. Started aching Friday morning with swelling and localized fever. Needed to see Dr. after my shift end at 6:00. Was able to get an appointment at 6:40 with no problem. Saw Dr. with enough time to pickup prescriptions before 8:00. Highly recommend.
I went in yesterday with a very persistent cough and chest congestion. I’d been uncomfortable all week. Rajah was my intake nurse and he was so sweet and gentle with me. I had to do a few uncomfortable tests but he made it quick and easy. His demeanor was also very comforting and professional. And Austin, my provider was great as well. He went over a few options that would help my symptoms (because I have allergies to certain meds). I didn’t feel rushed at all and Austin perscribed me something that already seems to be helping. I felt very safe getting seen by this doctors office. I’ve been here before and when needed, I’ll be a repeat customer. Thank you both.
My experience was not great. I was a walk in so I expected to be waiting a while. I got there around 8:40 and left around 10:45. There was an issue with my insurance showing as “inactive” on their end and I was told by the receptionist that she couldn’t call my insurance company because she would just be told that it was inactive. I tried explaining to her that the information she was given was outdated and that my current card had a more recent date. I was told to call and I was immediately told by my insurance company that my policy was active. Which is the information that I’m sure she would have been given if she would have just called. Apparently it was because my insurance policy includes my full name (first, middle, last) and I didn’t include my middle name when registering for my appointment with NextCare. I didn’t include my middle name because their website didn’t ask for it. When I was finally called back, they only tested me for strep when I clearly had flu symptoms. They did not test me for Covid either. My strep test came back negative and was told to just take Zyrtec. The medical professional that swabbed me for strep also decided not to put gloves on because it was too much of a hassle and said maybe she should get sick to have a day off. Sounds like they are overworked but that was also unprofessional. I also don’t think they realize that you can hear everything being said behind that window when you are in the waiting area. I will not be returning.
I usually have a really hard time with doctors. Im usually really uncomfortable and no matter what I am in for, my weight is always blamed. However, that was not the case here. They made me feel comfortable and like I was more than my weight which I grately appreciate. Honestly, this was my first truly good experience with a doctor.
Very quick service. Everyone was friendly. The provider was both professional and had a very caring attitude. He gave clear reasons for his diagnosis and explained every step of the exam.
Staff were friendly and nice. Came in person at the clinic for virtual meetings with the doctor. Super long wait even with appointments. Doctor didn’t even bother to turn on the camera. Super poor internet connection made it very hard to communicate. Give me a lecture that I shouldn’t come in this early for a flu test. No basic respect for the patient. And the medication was not sent to the pharmacy neither. Had to call in and remind them to sent it.
It was pretty quick once we were in the exam room. It would be great if we could tell the wait time online before going. We got into the exam room roughly 1.5 hours after our appointment. Grateful that everyone there was working on a Sunday though!
A great blessing, is that they confirmed that they accept my insurance, and particularly at my last visit I received valuable direction from the physician about when to use Ibuprofen vs. a topical lotion when treating arthritis.I treasure other life lessons that come up in my relationship with God as a result of keeping this appointment, and am thankful that they continue to serve.
Waited 3+ hours past my appointment time. Did not see a doctor. Only saw a PA. She didnt seem to have a clue as to how to treat me. Decided I must have an infection in my foot, gave me 2 prescriptions and sent me on my way. She spent less than 5 minutes with me. I was not happy about any part of my visit!!!
Longer than stated wait time. PA diagnosed issue correctly and referred me to ER which confirmed and surgery was needed. Was not charged for the Urgent Care visit as they were unable to treat me, appreciated that courtesy.
The PA we saw was fantastic. He listened (we had sort of a unique circumstance happening medically), was kind, didn’t talk down to me as the mom, and knew his stuff. The nurse/CNA was also friendly and helpful. We had a short wait but it wasn’t too bad at all (lunchtime on a Friday). My main critique is the check in. There was some anomaly with my insurance I guess. The receptionist kept saying that I had a “high deductible insurance plan” and we absolutely do NOT. I don’t know if she was just using the term casually when it has an actual precise meaning (we are always offered a HDHP and decline it; we have the same PPO we’ve had for a decade). This led to a lot of confusion and I ended up just overpaying and will work it out later with BCBS. But I didn’t feel good about the check in process at all. (It was $220 despite them being in network with my PPO.)
This is the best urgent care I have ever been to in all my life, from the front office staff to the nurse and doctor were amazing. A big thank you to all of you for taking great care of me yesterday. It was worth the drive over from LLano County to come get help from people who actually listen, understand and give you propper treatment to actually help you recover.after having a terrible (totally heartless doctor) experience at the marble falls next care urgent care I had to seek help here. Keep up the great work guys!
I came here for the first time yesterday after a week of the worst sinus infection of my life. I’m used to waiting 20-30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen at most urgent care facilities, and they actually saw me a few minutes early. Everyone from reception to the medical staff was friendly and helpful, they were able to quickly diagnose me and get me on a proper course of treatment in no time. Within a day I’m feeling much better now that I’m on the correct medication!
I had ear ache for a week and this day was worse and I made an appointment on this facility in Cedar Park because they accept my insurance. Everything went well, place is clean, like the stuff and doctor came very fast.
Booked an appointment online at 11 am on Dec. 15. Showed up at 15 mins early and they did not have my appointment. Showed the text message for the 11 am appointment. The receptionist then added me to the to list. Here was my mistake, I assumed that she would have honored the appointment time, but no they the receptionist placed me on the walkin list and I kept getting bumped down the list as other individuals with later appointments were seen.
2nd time I visited here.Great care! I did not wait long for a walk in appointment. The nurse was great, same as last time, and the caregiver professional, friendly and most of all great at providing the correct care and follow on advice!Thank youPS friendly professional check in staff!
My partner went to this facility due to stomach pains/fevers/chills, which we thought was food poisoning. At the facility the staff was very nice and friendly. However they met with my partner for 10 minutes, told her that the cramping was just food poisoning and then gave her a stomach cramp prescription. The issue with this is that my partner could not walk with her back straight, put any pressure on her stomach and felt pain all over that area. We went to an emergency room later in the day and turned out she had an appendicitis. I am putting a 1 star rating because I felt like the situation wasn’t taken seriously or even thought about in a deeper level. I don’t expect everything from this facility but I wish it was a more doctor guided experience.
My thank you to all the staff for your kind and prompt help . I spent all Sunday afternoon in quiet and comfortable surroundings w my family members while blood work was finalized. Excellent all around service.
Staff was professional and compassionate. Could not possibly express my gratitude for the good care they provided. My thanks to each person there that ensured I had good patient care.
Excellent experience! NextCare is sooo convenient. I walked in, learned it would be a 1.5 hr wait and they gave me the option to wait at home! 🎉. (I live < 10 minutes away). Then they sent me a text when I was next in line. As soon as I arrived I was escorted to a patient room with a friendly Medical Assistant who asked me a few basic questions/. Within 5 minutes the PA walked in, examined me, and wrote a RX. They must have called it in to Walgreens right away because I stopped there on my way home, and to my surprise the prescription was ready for pickup. It was seamless. Every employ at NextCare seems to enjoy their job. They were all delightful! Best of all, they are open on weekends! So I was able to start my eye drop prescription for an eye infection without waiting until Monday (or driving far to my PCP). I may just make NextCare my primary!Thank you for the convenience, professionalism, and and easy way to get a fast RX to cure my eye infection!
The front desk was very helpful and polite. The actual care is not a very in depth exam by any means. Its clear they are not a URGENT care facility. They are not fully stocked with anything in the exam rooms, not even a sink to wash their hands. That was a little bit of a concern. I dont think there are many registered nurses that assist. The lady that helped me and got my blood pressure kept saying, I think this is machine is broken. She was very nice, just not very professional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great staff and doctors. My appointment went very smooth and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Would not hesitate to go back.
This place is a ripoff. I had to seek out services from them because my PCP was unavailable (it was the weekend) $75 copay ok no big deal. The PA checked the issue that I was having and wrote a prescription, in and out in 6 minutes good right? Wrong! After the medication didn’t work after the 2nd day, I called and asked can the PA prescribe a different medication the front staff informed me that I would have to pay another $75 copay to be seen again! No ma’am, I’m not paying another copay for the same issue that was never resolved in the first place. I know doctors these days are lazy and just write prescriptions all day just write me a different one and let me be on my way. Times are hard out here I don’t have money just to throw away.
The reception person was welcoming and helpful. The doctor was caring and the treatment was accurate. Im happy with their service.Thanks.
Saw medical professional promptly. I was diagnosed and my meds were sent to my pharmacy right away. Nice people. I recommend this location.
I recommend anyone to come here. The staff is incredible and very helpful. My daughter needed a physical and her doctor was booked. I googled and Nextcare Urgent Care was a search result. So glad we came here and will continue to do so in the future.
My son had a possible staph infection & we were very worried. It was later on a Friday so my fear of not being able to get in to see a doc until Monday was great. I knew that NextCare Urgent Care would help. I was able to get him seen the same day. Its always so easy to schedule appointments, complete pre checks & check in. I like that you can view the waitlist. All of the staff are always helpful & friendly. Our doctor was very knowledgeable, patient, kind & considerate. We were able to get the prescriptions that he needed. And my peace of mind was settled. Overall outstanding, which is why we go back. I would highly recommend this provider!
Too long wait time, quality of care the worst ever. I went for a chest x-ray and I waited for >4 hours to be seen. The check in system is horrible. Why answer questions online (on the phone) and answer the same questions on paper trail. The PA was quite unprofessional made me feel like I was contentious of some kind. Why ask me if I have been reported to the health department? Just for a positive TB skin test and “latent” TB results due to a BCG received as an infant. Why do the questioner that everything was marked “no?” Then she comes in asking me the same questions I answered on the paper? That is quite being incompetent in understanding skin test, Latent TB and active TB. The staff at the front desk look like they are actually bored with their job. Going for the chest X-ray, there was no where to leave my clothes that I had to take off. So I was told to place them on the chair that everyone sits on when being seen by the health care team. Can’t there be some type of hanger? The X-ray tech was actually the only who seemed to enjoy her job. She was not judgmental. The only thing that was ok was the cleanliness of the clinic .
The staff is very professional and do their best at accommodating walk-ins and appointments. Highly recommend.
All in all my visit went pretty well. It was only one provider who had to take an emergency so that increase the wait time a bit. But still I was out of there in 2 hours on a walk-in.
Set an appointment at 5:15 pm. Arrived at 5pm to complete paperwork. At 5:40, I asked what was the delay. Only then did they say that they had an emergency admit. It would be an additional 25-30 mins. What that tells me is that theyre understaffed and dont have the professionalism to notify those that made an appointment that theyd be bumped for more pressing concerns. Please either get another dr to handle patients with appointments and a separate doctor for emergencies. Expecting patients to wait for over an hour to be seen is inconsiderate to patients relying in care. Just as a doctor wouldnt wait an hour to see me, I dont care to spend my evening waiting for a dr to see me.
The staff was extremely professional and nice. The doctor really listened and gave wonderful advice and seemed to truly care about me as a person. I will definitely be coming back here for any urgent care needs.
When the school year is about to start, parents, like me, are looking for places to get kids sports physicals. It seems harder and harder each year to find these places and they are booked and prices run around $100. When I saw the postcard mailed from NextCare for a $20 sports physical, I couldnt believe my eyes. I figured it would take weeks to get an appt. Nope! Got in the next morning. The office was friendly and quick to get us in for that appt and the best part... it was only $20!!! The same physical that I was paying $100 was $80 less! Im telling everyone about NextCare and thats where to get your physicals and all your urgent care needs.
This medical care team was the most caring & efficient of my 75 years. Each were & are outstanding. They care !!! So grateful 🙏 to God for each of you. What you are called to do is so important to so many. So grateful 🙏 for each of you. You are deeply appreciated. God bless you! Jesus loves you.☺️💕🙏
I was seen quickly after having no appointment. The staff were very professional and listened to all the details/issues I was having.
Everything went well. Everyone was nice & helpful. My son was well taken care of & on the mend.
Me and my husband came in NextCare Urgent Care and registered separately, but to our happy surprise they took us together :D The nurse (its a shame I dont remember the name :( ) and the Doctor Monica were super professional! They listened to our complaints, did the check ups and prescribed the medicine. Whole visit was very polite, informative and great in general! Writing this review a bit later and can say that prescribed medicine works and we are feeling better! Thank you and I do recommend this clinic and their staff! Highly appreciate their work
I was able to get in and get looked at relatively quickly by Jennifer Severance who is a very nice person and empathetic and helped guide me through a treatment plan for my symptoms. I can’t go on enough about just how calming Jennifer’s demeanor is, especially if you’re in pain, she is definitely not a let’s get in and get them rushed out type of a doctor. Kind of wish she was just my regular doctor definitely would drop my primary care physician and go with her as my primary care physician. I hope y’all pay her enough. I saw her when I was there in February as well. Keep up the good work.
The doctor was great. She was firm but very sweet and thorough. The nurses were great too. Very nice people.
Was very pleased with the front desk check in was easy. Provider was very professional. I would recommend NextCare Cedar Park
Ive been to NextCare twice and have had positive experiences both times. The staff is attentive and I didnt have to wait long unlike most other urgent care centers. All of the receptionists, technicians and providers were super friendly and helpful with my concerns and reasons for going to see them. Will be back anytime I need an urgent care facility!
Friendly, professional staff. Was able to quickly make an online appointment on Sunday. Short wait in waiting room. Helpful to me in locating nearby pharmacy, since I am from out of state.
Very humble staff and they were able to accommodate near to 1 hour of closing time. Nurse was knowledgeable and performed all tests as per process. Good customer service from receptionist. Would recommend them for urgent care visits
Went in with a sinus infection. Seen in a reasonable timeframe and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy. Check out unneeded. Relatively painless as far as a doctor’s appointment can be. I will be back if need be. Very happy and hope to be feeling better soon.
This was my first time using this clinic, and I would definitely go back again. The ease of being able to schedule an appointment, and provide all the other requested information online, was very appreciated. Didnt have to wait long to be seen, and everyone I interacted with was extremely pleasant, competent and professional. A printout was provided before leaving with information related to the visit for my reference, and to provide to my PCP if needed. It was a very pleasant experience, and I would certainly recommend this facility to friends and family members.
Took 2 minutes to book and verify appointment. Filled out pre-appt paperwork in 3-5 minutes. Arrived at facility, scanned QR code on door to check in, and got called in at my exact appt time. Great job
Was glad we were able to get inAt closing time .I have covidDr did fineHowever they sent my script to the wrong pharmacy...Causing a major prolem withgetting my medsThey were closed so couldnt fix the problem until the next morningMy daughter was trying to help me and set up that the staff would call me and just ask me to say ok to talk to my daughterThe staff called me and insisted on telling me what they did and asking what I wanted them to do....I couldnt talk or breathe and tried to say yes talk to daughter several times before staff stopped ...Nextcare has always been a good place to get to see a dr on a weekend....Their sat and sun hrs are greatWe will continue to use them if/when neededThis was a very upsetting and frustrating experience this time
Friendly staff, short wait times and the clinic was very clean! Will definitely go back!
I was a walk-in patient. There were two people waiting before me. I got called back in about 30 minutes. They told me “Dr. Juan” would be in soon. I waited in the room in the back over an hour. I think they called an ambulance for a lady that came in after me, so I understand that can throw things off a bit. “Dr” Juan is a PA (they shouldn’t represent him as a doctor, I have no qualms about being seen by PAs or NPs, they should just not call him Dr. Juan) he saw me for about 5 minutes and prescribed me antibiotics and sent me on my way. This was an adequate amount of time as I had a raging ear infection and all he had to do was look in my ear for a second. The pharmacy almost immediately got the prescriptions which meant I was able to start the medications quickly. I appreciate this. If you have a non-emergent, uncomplicated illness like mine I would recommend this center. For one thing, unlike the St David’s places that charge ER prices, this facility took my insurance and charged me a fee similar to seeing my PCP. I really appreciate this as I’ve been scammed by the “stand alone ERs” that tried to charge me an ER copay. My illness is getting better with the antibiotics and I would definitely come back.
Only had 1 nurse and PA working, so our 4:00 appointment turned into an over 50 minute wait. Have always had quick wait times before, but this one was a bit too long. The nurse and PA were very kind and apologetic though.
I was at work not feeling good with a sore throat and i called in to see if i could go in without an appointment the receptionist said of course.Went in and checked in less than 5min just to be out in less thank 30 min after.I love the no wait time and providers are awesome!
Everyone was so friendly. The process was simple and we were seen quickly. Will definitely be back.
Very efficient. I went on a Sunday. They quickly got me in and provided the necessary care.
NextCare is the place to go when you need to see a doctor but your primary has no openings. They are professional and informative.I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Made an appointment online, and went straight in when I got to the office. The team was very professional and made me feel comfortable. I was in an out in 30 minutes. Great experience!!!!!!!!
Great place to go for Urgent care. I definitely would recommend NextCare Urgent Care off Cypress Creek in Cedar Park, Tx. to anyone looking for fast care and the chance to meet a very sweet, smart, kind nice Doctor. I totally give them 5 stars and I will definitely return to this clinic if I ever get sick again. Thank you so much for such great fast service.
Lost a night of sleep coughing from terrible chest congestion. Made an appointment for that morning online and was seen promptly after arriving. Care was professional, quick but not hurried, and the PA listened to me.Besides the good personal care, they take most insurance, including Medicare. I’ve found that some standalone “emergency” centers do not. Recommend!
The staff was nice and didn’t take too long to finish my scheduled appointment. I recommend this urgent care. 5/5 stars
Excellent care very nice staff. Highly recommend this office
They were quick, thorough and listened to me.
The nurse practitioner Jen Severance made me feel worse for being sick. Anytime I go to a doctor I hope to be treated with empathy and that was not received today.
Very friendly and kind staff. I will certainly come back if Im not feeling well again.
They were efficient and reasonably priced, but the best thing was the people! We had a problem with an unconventional form, and the staff, particularly Tamara, went out of their way to help us and fix it painlessly. Great customer service and kindness!
Great FNPJennifer Severance. Helped me before and probably saved my life 4 months ago. I am a patient for life.
I had a very positive experience at my doctors visit. The person that saw me was Jennifer Severance. She was absolutely amazing and was extremely thorough in treating me.
I was able to book an appointment Saturday night for first thing in the morning on a Sunday for a strep test. I used their Solv app to book my appointment online and fill out all of their paperwork. I checked in at 7:52 AM and out at 8:28 AM, hardly any wait time at all. Will absolutely be using their services again when needed.
Was really worried about my back pain and didn’t think it was wise to wait for an appt two-three months out with my PCP. Jennifer Severance helped answer all of my concerns in a timely, professional, and effective manner! Super grateful for NextCare Urgent Care and all the helpful staff!
Quickly got into a room & promptly ran tests. Wait time wasnt terrible (~45min). NP was inormative & explained everything clearly to my teenager, was not rushed. Discharge & checkout was quick. All staff was kind, caring and efficient.
Jennifer Severance and all staff including reception and medical assistants did a stellar job, resolved my medical complaint. All were highly competent, compassionate and pleasant.
Excellent experience. Great, personable staff! Thank you for helping me!
I went in for a cough and sore throat. The facility was nice and clean. The staff were very nice, as well as the doctor. They were thorough and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend them for urgent care.
The provider on 12/5/23 was absolutely amazing she literally sat and explained an everything to us clearly. She was amazing we need more Dr’s like you!!! We came a hour before closing she was so sweet!
Every time we have gone in, we are treated professionally and courteously upon entering. The medical staff has always been professional with excellent bedside manner as well. This time, we were getting a physical for school sports and we were seen fairly quick in as a walk in with 3 physicals ahead of us. I highly recommend this Cypress Creek location!
Had to wait over an hour and pay $182 just to be told absolutely nothing other than to go to the ER. If you know you can deal with abdominal pain, maybe say that before letting me waste my time and money.
Worst place ever! No help they don’t care that you are ill they just want to charge and then once they charge you they take you back to just tell you to go to emergency care if you feel worse. Not even checking temperature or blood sugar nothing they just send in a “DR” but when asked if she even is a dr she just stayed silent and called the billing MANAGER TO COME ASSIST like WHAT???? If you are so a “DR” why would you send in the Billing manager for my medical questions to be answered!!?? Something is Extremely off in this place it’s weird, and the “staff” are so rude and can care less about your concerns or feelings!
I am terribly disappointed with my visit. Im a teacher, and I went to the clinic with extreme exhaustion, a terrible cough, and all of the symptoms of either covid or the flu.A young lady came into the room and did not introduce herself. She asked me to open my mouth so she could look at my throat. She did a quick flash of the tool before I had fully opened my mouth. She then took a millisecond to flash a light into each of my ears. There was no time for her to actually peer inside. She told me I could go to work the next day and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I asked her why antibiotics for a viral infection. She paused for several seconds and said to prevent pneumonia. I told her that flu and covid were going around my school.I was charged $211. I was not tested for flu or covid.I did not go back to work that week despite the doctors recommendation nor did I pick up the antibiotics. I was too sick. I was too sick to inquire about not being tested for the flu or covid when it was rampant in my school. I got in my car and cried, feeling like Id been ripped off.I would have advocated for myself if I wasnt sick. But thats why I was there, I was very sick.
Everyone was so nice they took great care of my son! We were in and out in no time 10/10 would definitely recommend! Wichaya and Tiffanie are amazing!
I was able to walk in and be seen. It took less than 30 mins. The doctor on duty was nice, knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
Like so many other reviews, we had to wait 2 hours past our appointment time. Its just a bait and switch, plain and simple. Call it a wait list, not an appointment. And no I dont want to talk to whatever third party HR yall got answering these reviews trying to placate people. Just be better. Employees here clearly know that the wait time is an issue and they get an attitude when you bring it up. The actual care once youre in is rushed but otherwise fine (I mean you can hardly blame them). (But also Imma blame them, because it sucked.)
So happy to find an urgent care with excellent office staff, professionalism, friendliness, and quick service. Couldn’t be happier!
Called to see if any wait and they took me in as noted on the phone. The staff was friendly, NP appeared knowledge and took extra time to address my concerns. Looking forward to get better and would recommend this place for cold/flu like symptoms
From the moment we walked in, we were met with kindness. I wish I had grabbed the front lady’s name, she was so awesome!! The whole staff was! The place was clean and quiet. We made an appt on line and everything worked out the way it was supposed to. I’d highly recommend them again!
I was feeling worse this morning.Ive not been sick like this since February, 2019 with the flu.I did my research of local urgent cares. Finding great reviews! They didnt disappoint! The receptionist (My apologies for forgetting her name.) was welcoming and so helpful!Art the NP, I think, Art was just as welcoming! It was as if Id been there in the past. The FNP, Jennifer.was as welcoming and a lovely bedside manner.Despite computers going down, they forged ahead.I had no problem waiting.I may have tested positive for Covid. But, my entire.experience was.a.5*****Thanks bunches! 🤗
Had a terrible experience at this “urgent care”. Injured my leg and was fainting and nobody even came to help to the lobby. Went inside and was told they could not do anything and were going to call an ambulance for me to go to the ER, the doctor wouldn’t even clean my wound I had to ask.Went to St. Davis Urgent Care, got 2 stitches, tetanus vaccine and went home. Don’t waste your time, energy and money going to NextCare.
The doctor was great with my daughter, she went above and beyond to make her comfortable during them exam. I trust them with all of my kids urgent medical needs.
Had an appointment for a drug test. For new jobWent in took the test case closedThe ladies were very professional.
Went in for asthma. Quick easy and professional. Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Would recommend the online check-in process to expedite your visit. 5 stars and all that jazz
Incredibly prompt service and excellent staff with both the receptionist and the PA. Very friendly and accommodating to the concerns of my visit.
Inital visit was fine but had to update review due to serious issues. Dr. Melinda Ryan stated she would order a urine culture and call with results in 5 days. She never called. When I contacted them about the results they stated they never sent the urine for culture. They did not want to admit they made a mistake and forgot to order the test. They eventually admitted the mistake. They said come tomorrow to provide new sample so the test can be performed. Upon arrival was told i would have to pay for a new office visit for $100, not including the test cost. They want me to pay for their mistake. Maggie the customer consultant at the front desk has no medical training so she was completely unhelpful. Could only say sorry, nothing else. Manager Ryan (last name would not be provided to me) was not in the office and could not be contacted to correct their mistake. In what world must a customer pay for the companies mistake? Complete waste of time and money seeking care at this facility. No follow through, no compassion, very few brain cells to be found here.
My mother went to this urgent care for COVID symptoms , which ended up being COVID after all. Their systems were down and so she left without paying. Months later we received the bill from Nextcare and it has been an absolute nightmare getting a hold of customer service. After agreeing to a payback plan, they have yet to update the balance at all. We will never go back to a Nextcare establishment.
It only took me 10 minutes of waiting before the nurse called me, which was good. However, after being placed in the room and waiting for the doctor, I had to wait for 1 hour before the doctor finally came in. She seemed rushed and only spent 5 minutes conducting a quick check. After that, she asked me to wait for her to bring the prescription. Unfortunately, I had to wait another hour before I finally received the prescription.
I was sick, needed to be seen close to home easily and quickly. The NextCare staff was compassionate and understanding. They got me in quickly and I was seen by the doctor with a very short wait. He listened to me, understood my concerns, and provided excellent care without delay. I will definitely recommend NextCare to others!
My visit didn’t go as I planned the lady at the front desk was amazing helped me out with my insurance but once I got to the back of the clinic I felt like I didn’t get the help I wanted and they made me feel worse gave me no comfort or explanation on what might be going on with me and told me I need to go to the ER.
My daughter was not cooperative at all, but the nurses were still very patient and did everything they could to try to properly care for her. I commend them for their patience.
We had to come here since our Primary Care was closed! Our apt was at 4:20 and it took less than 45 minutes for the PA to come into the room- do his stuff, the MA(i would assume) to administer medication and then the final completion of paperwork. The place was quiet and clean and very efficient! Very impressed! I’ll update once/if i receive any other bills from here outside of our copay.
Despite the staff being swamped right before our appointment, they didn’t rush and everything was explained thoroughly. The physician herself seemed to have allergies but was working hard and very professional and caring
The doc we saw was a super kind, patient, professional and knowledgeable gentleman (Phil I believe was his name?). He is a retired emergency room doctor and genuinely care for people. This is the kind of humans we want in this industry, not those who do the job just for the pay. My mother has limited English and had a mild stroke. We went in at almost close time. But the front desk, nurse and doctor were not rushing us at all. This is a great urgent care clinic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know in Austin.
Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful from the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor. The wait time was minimal and I was treated quickly, but efficiently. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone seeking proper urgent care.
The receptionist was warm, welcoming and helpful.I was seen by Dr. Philip Roberts. He explained my treatment in a way that was easy for me to understand. He has great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend NextCare is as an option for urgent care needs.
Everyone was super nice. Found out I have the flu .
We had a very long wait time even with an appointment. 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.
I have a good experience here. From the ease of making an Appointment for Sunday to being in & out of the facility quickly. The staff was all welcoming. Will use this place in future for my aftercare Dr needs.
Easy online checkin, forms. Received good service and medical info.
The staff is excellent and I got top notch care! Plus, they are more affordable than other local places. Very caring staff and excellent service!! Marcel Garza is an excellent tailor! He gave me four great stitches and informed me about things I should know about wound care and vaccinations. He told me what he was going to do before he did it, and was quick and gentle with the treatment. I really enjoyed my visit. I felt so much better when I left. I was concerned that he not give me a splint (I type for a living) and he carefully explained the first and middle parts and what I could expect as a result.
Had an appointment today in Round Rock. When I arrived, I was informed that there wasn’t a medical provider in the office. They were only doing virtual visits. I had an ear that needed to be looked at. So, they rescheduled me for 5 hours later at the Cedar Park location. I’ve been waiting for more than an hour for an appointment that I booked.
Got in and out in a timely manner. Staff was very friendly.
Great visit. We went for a Sports Physical. Staff was really nice. They got us in and out in no time and price was very reasonable.
We truly appreciate this great team. We are ordinary people and received extraordinary care.
I showed up as a walk-in, but you can book a time to be seen. Even still, I was seen very quickly and you can see how many people are in line on the website. Check-In was smooth and everyone working was kind and cordial. It was nice to get a quick solution and relief for my situation.
This establishment was very quick and professional. Staff was wonderful. The facility was very busy, but everyone worked so well together. We were in and out, like that!
Even with the internet down, they were able to accommodate me. Alex and Tiff were beyond friendly and Nat was great at providing me care. Will continue to go to this location for my Urgent Care needs.
Fast and professional - 4 stars only bc there was an additional test that I thought it would have been helpful to do, but the doctor said there was no need to. I would’ve appreciated the peace of mind anyways. Plus I drove out of my way to go to this specific location where I was told they would be able to do the test… overall it wasn’t a bad experience
Great service and your staff is so friendly and kind, Thanks for taking good care of me!
I have seen two Dr.’s and a NP at this location and they are always friendly and knowledgeable. There is some wait time because it is an UC with walk-ins and scheduled appointments but that is to be expected. The front desk staff is very nice as well. I always use this clinic for sick calls, stiches, and the unexpected. Thank you for your kind and knowledgeable treatment. You’re always there when we need you!
This place is exceptional. I hate having to go to urgent care, but appreciate that I have a go-to urgent care!!
I have been to Nextcare around 5 times. Every time I go I’m sitting in the lobby waiting for around an hour, then for another 45 min in the room..? I even scheduled an appointment last time, not any better. WHY don’t they organize it so sick people don’t have to wait! What the heck are doctors doing after the 3 minutes they actually spend with the patient? If this was any other business..! They forgot I was in the room, another 45 min.! What a wast of time!
We are so glad for this medical facility. The staff is patient and good. The Doctors, NP, or PAs that we have seen are good and careful with our son. They dont charge you astronomical prices. And so, we return again and again! Thank you NextCare!
First few times we felt we found the good urgent care facility. However, as we visited more, wait time has been getting worse. Even arrived and checked in 20 mins ahead before our appointment, still had 50 to 58 mins to wait. The last time they saw the lady who had walked in, after waiting there for 20 mins, before us - I had chatted with her as we were both waiting and that was when she told me she had no appointment.Otherwise, Dr Robert was great and staff really friendly.
My grandson had fever, throat pain, body aches and headaches. I thought it was the flu but he tested positive for COVID! The FNP was very thorough, kind and professional as well as the staff. I will return when I cant get an appointment with the doctor.
Currently sitting here 2 hours after my reservation time- 1: it seems like you are making an appointment but it’s just a spot in line; 2: they have zero empathy at the front desk (monotone person giving excuses to anyone that asks a question). They know they are behind because they keep saying it to other people coming in but they aren’t being honest about the time- like I said I’ve been waiting for exactly 2 hours at the time of writing this (can’t get an appointment with my primary explains why I’m still here) and they tell people they are about 20-30 minutes behind! This is my second time here. The ladyTime was late also but around 30-40 minutes. I won’t be coming here again and I don’t recommend this place. Also my insurance copay is apparently cheaper at minute clinic. Wish me luck to finally be called back.
I love this urgent care and I will continue to return. Very friendly staff. The doctor was super helpful and friendly as well. Super clean facility. The wait was basically non existent when you consider how it is at other urgent care
Help me with this please. I received a severe laceration on my lip up to my nose . It scared me and obviously needed attention. I held a washcloth to my face and drove to the closest Urgent care. I was put in a room where I waited for over an hour. No doctor came to check on me. I stepped outside my room to find two doctors visiting at the counter. Obviously not working. I asked when they would see me. One said if you dont like it you can leave! Very rudely. I did that, I left with blood dripping down my face. Not knowing what to do I came home and cleaned it, iced it down and applied antibiotics. I didnt feel it was an emergency room situation. Today it is swollen and ugly but I think it will be okay. I have called the clinic many times being on hold for so long I hung up. Never getting a answer. I am a veteran and use that insurance for visits. I just want to make sure they do not bill the VA for services they did not render. Why do they not answer? What would you do? I have never been treated so poorly.
I understand people are frustrated about waiting, and I get it, because not everyone can afford that time, but I think it’s easy for us to forget that it’s flu season during a pandemic in America. It’s not any specific person’s fault and I think that’s important to remember. While it was a longer wait time, the receptionist was kind and apologized. Both the nurse practitioner and the doctor seemed to genuinely care about my symptoms and didn’t feel like they were trying to rush me out like I’m a number, which is not what I can say for other places. So, I really appreciate that kind of care and, to me, that’s what’s most important, and I think other people care about too once they let go of their impatience.
Smooth, no wait. Courteous & kind. Also funny. Thanks!
They are short staffed. One non medical receptionist, a lady who did my X-ray and gave me a shot, as well as the doctor were the only three people on staff. For an urgent care that seemed it could be really difficult on them. Of course it makes it impossible to see you until……………….After a while, and at my request they were kindly accommodating to let me go to a room and lay down at least until they could help me.I didn’t talk to Doctor much but the lady doing every other medical thing that happened for me was truly a blessing in her attitude, kindness, wording and tone of voice. I thank the three of them for doing the best they can and appreciated not getting any unnecessary negativity from them at an extremely difficult time.
Weve been a few times. Convenient location, and its easy to make an appointment here. There is some paperwork initially, but that seems oar for the course these days.
Im always taken care of at Next Care. You can check in on your phone, leave go home and they text you when your up. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Its easier than taking off work and going to a Primary care physician. Excellent quality care. I love this place.
I was greeted promptly and luckily they werent too busy, one 1 patient ahead of me. I think the wait is long but compared to an ER its pretty quick for being a walk in. The nurse and doctors on staff really listened to what my symptoms were so they could get to a diagnosis. I feel all my questions were answered too and the doctor made sure I understood everything. The medications prescribed were exactly what I needed because after a day of antibiotics I was already feeling much better and finally got some much needed restful sleep. I have been going to this clinic for a few years now and they really take care of their patients and I appreciate that. Thank you to all the staff there.
Appoint at 11:40 and dont get seen till 1:50. Then told no fever and when I get home its 102 fever. Would not recommend. Its probably faster at the er
Absolutely the best Urgent Care visit of my 73 years. Efficient, gracious, the nurse was 100% kind and Jen the doc was one of best I’ve ever visited with. Excellent information!
Visit went great..josh is always pleasant. Mary is great. Wait time is long other wise five stars. I get running behind but 1.5 hours is ridiculous. Why bother do appointment of its always behind?
This facility is run first like a business and second like a healthcare facility. Payment is demanded before anyone sees you. Big Pharma probably likes them, but I do not.
I had a very good experience at next to care. PL Michelle took care of me she listen to all of my concerns and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. We decided on a course of treatment which I am very happy about. As well she gave me exercises to do. I recommend next care to anybody who needs medical care
Wonderful experience. The nurse was lovely and so great with my son. Got through Covid up the nose test and strep test, with clear information so my son did really well. The Dr came in and was giving details as he did exam which doesnt happen near enough at other places. Would recommend for littles and adults!
Made an appointment for 9:20 in advance because I woke up almost unable to breathe and was sitting in the lobby for an hour. No one was called and the app said I was second in line. Finally left because I don’t have time in my day to sit around for absolutely nothing I might as well be home. Don’t recommend not sure why people are giving them 5 stars with service like this.
Update- once again another great visit to NexCare! The wait was long but they sent us a text to let us know they were behind. The virtual waiting room is also helpful so you can wait in the car or at home. 5🌟 again! We have always received great care at this Urgent Care. They are overwhelmed with patients right now, but when you get in to the exam room you don’t feel rushed. We’ve seen them for asthma flare ups, poison ivy, strep throat and everything in between. I highly recommend them!
I dont know why I went to this place even after they took so much time when we visited them first time. They kept me waiting for 2 and half hour and dint even examine me, then in last I have to leave as I was having lot of pain.I was in around 9:30 to 10 am and online it was showing only one person ahead of me with regulars appointment and two person with walk-in but suddenly they started taking people who checked in after me , In starting I ignore it but then suddenly guy started calling a lady who was not even their. I checked my spot online and here come the surprise they removed my name from list so I asked the front lady and she was in shock and said they will call me soon, you should understand where the mistake happen. in next 5 min they call me did initial checkup and kept me in room for long time and said only two people ahead of us but again we end up waiting their too. even after explaining everything and request from my wife and me they dint listen and we end up in leaving the place. so Thanks a lot for your service.
Do NOT waste your time. Go to another facility or straight to the ER. I went there straight from work because it was closest to me and I could not breathe. My lungs were spazzing and I had had 2 asthma attacks in 2 hours (haven’t had one since about 6 years ago other than that). First, they made me wait to even be asked why I was there because they were messing with the computer and the receptionist was mad her chair was too low and she couldn’t fix it. Then, after me saying I COULD NOT BREATHE, proceeded to tell me they had 3 appointments ahead of me and I would have to wait, even though the appointments were not there yet. I asked why appointments for 10 minutes and so on in the future were placed ahead of my NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATHE (white lips, purple fingers and all) and they just suggested I go somewhere else. Would give no stars if it were possible. Now i’m in the ER and they have me on 2 treatments and are taking chest x-rays because they heard how I sounded when I walked in. Absolutely unbelievable, unprofessional, and unreliable.
Friendly staff, short wait time. Physician assistant was very thorough and got right to the point. Highly recommend.
I called them and they got my appointment in 30 minutes.. knew there would be a wait but not long at all. Highly recommend. Everyone was incredible over the top nice… the doctor was amazing and so kind..went elsewhere before in CP and will not go there again… totally professional. And took time and care.. A++++
Not sure what happened today, but concerning… I booked my appointment using the app for 1:00, I got there and checked in at 12:30. The app said only two ahead and I should be seen around 12:45, wow I thought, an hour later…. still sitting there, when I asked they indicated they were short staffed and running behind all morning… then someone came out and indicated there was a problem and they couldn’t take any more patients back, I had to go to another location and wait another 2 hours to be seen. I’m not sure what happened and I do hope that the many people who they continued to schedule for later in the day were able to get the medical support they needed. I have been here before and service and Dr. was great, not sure why they didn’t just stop taking appointments if there was an issue.. I’m sure many would have simply scheduled for another location.
I visited this location today and everyone working there was very friendly, kind, and courteous to me.Sheri was working the front desk and she was very welcoming and helpful when checking in and checking out. Jacob was very kind and thorough when taking my vitals and administering the treatment. Komal Patel, PA-C was a very informative and helpful while examining my injury. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in need of urgent care. They were professional and friendly while being quick and thorough.
The front desk lady was super helpful and knowledgeable. Her energy was very vibrant as well! The entire staff that helped get me my services done were all very helpful and vibrant as well. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates these types of things like I do ☺️
A foot problem developed and I was limping around...painfully. Contacted the VA, my medical coverage, and they told me to visit any local walk-in medical facility. Having no experience in walk-in Clinics I began to look for local reviews in Austin/Cedar Park. This NextCare facility on Cypress Creek Rd. was highly rated and so I decided to check it out. One of my better intuitions!I didnt choose it because it was conveniently located, although it was. Nor that the parking was ez in & out, although it was also. I chose it because the Receptionist at the Desk was welcoming, professional, and interested in exactly what my problem/concerns were. I made an appointment for later. I could have made an appt. online, which I recommend you do and if I needed in the future thats what Id do.The medical exam included an X-ray which the attending Physician thoroughly explained after a careful examination of my foot. The entire experience was professional, comprehensive and reassuring. So, based on my experience I give this facility a 5-Star Rating: Recommended.
I appreciated the Next Care Urgent Care available for me as I needed their care and quick response. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very cordial. Also the Nurse. The Provider was very professional and gave clear instructions to follow concerning the medical issue I was experiencing.I or another family member will return here if a quick response is needed again.I am now doing fine. Thank you.
I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience here. I came in today after being bitten by a dog at work and will NEVER be going here again nor will I recommend it to any of my associates. Now, I don’t expect much effiency when it comes to human health care so I was going into this expecting a little bit of a wait but I waited 3 1/2 hours. It’s not like they were busy, no, I was 1 of 4 people in the waiting room. They could not figure out workers comp and had me wait around for 3 1/2 hours while they answered the phones, responded to emails, etc. instead of checking me in. The girl at the front said that she had never worked a shift by herself before and I do have to say that she did her best to keep me informed and treat me like a human instead of something to bill so this review has nothing to do with her. She was obviously not comfortable by herself yet and should never have been put in that situation. When I finally got to the exam room the nurse was not personable at all and neither was the practitioner. When it came time for my shot the nurse was not gentle AT ALL and when he pulled the needle out he squirted some of the vaccine on the table and my leg and just said “oh.” When it finally came time to leave I asked for the papers back to give to my manager and was told “they can call if they need it.” Fine. I left. I thought this was all over until I went to my pharmacy to pick up my antibiotic only to find out that they never sent the workers comp paper work through and when we attempted to call they did not answer. My choices were to 1. Pay out of pocket or 2. not get my antibiotic after a dog bite. No thanks.I never write reviews but as someone who works in the medical field I thought this was worth sharing so it does not happen again.
I easily made an appointment online and checked in on my phone. After walking in, I was kindly greeted and I confirmed my check in. Not long after, I was seen and treated by friendly professionals. Thank you!
Wasnt qualified to handle my issue. I was giving vague advice and a prescription. Walked out still not knowing what it is. Going to a real ER now. Frustrating because I paid a lot of money for really nothing. Not even peace of mind.
They were horrible to me. We waited over 2 hours just to be seen with an empty waiting room. Tban when the Dr came back he was so rude and mean. Made a comment about how slow I was being getting to the exam table since its going to be next year before you reach it, you should probably go to the ER. I went there because my work sent me there. We than went to the ER and was told my pain was understandable considering.... this is just a terrible place to be. No patience, no compassion, just rude and heartless people.
Made an appointment online filled out all the paperwork and uploaded my cards, super easy. Receptionist was very nice,so was the medical assistant but Dr. Roberts is the best, super friendly and explained everything very well. This will be the place I use for my urgent care needs. Thank you 😊
Easy, fast and everyone was super nice. Unfortunately they didn’t have strep tests, but were upfront about it when we talked to the nurse. Overall good experience for urgent care. Thank you!
When does urgent care tell you there full and cant take you. Walked in and was asked if I had appointment told them no and immediately was told were full we cant help you. No sorry or nothing just blunt about they were full. Second time trying to go here and last. If your busy I understand but make your approach to new customers a little better. Its Urgent Care some people walk in like I did with a legit urgent matter. Thank you Baylor Scott for caring and taking care of me.
Today I scheduled an appointment hours ahead of time. When my appointment time arriving and I went to check in the lady at the front desk explains to me that they are pretty much an hour or so behind and that I can’t be seen until an hour or so after the time I made an appointment. She then proceeds to suggest I have a snack or lunch or just do whatever to “ pass” the time. Unacceptable. I understand that things can be running behind but seriously - I drove all the way to this location just to be told to wait an hour or so after I SCHEDULED an appointment. Not only that, the moment you knew you were running so behind should of been a phone call to those who are scheduled for an appointment. It’s called courtesy. Long story short I ended up canceling because I have other things I need to do. Unprofessional and inconsiderate of peoples time. Had I walked in that would of been a different story. But I made an appointment and rearranged my schedule for that appointment. I will not be rearranging my schedule once more because the lack of courtesy of this clinic. Go elsewhere if you actually want to be taken care of.
The assistant and physician that attended to me were both great. Informative and professional. Id give 5 stars if they ever answered their phone. I have called three days in a role and have remained on hold (an hour one day) and never spoke to anyone.
I was seen within 3 minutes of signing my paperwork. The paperwork was very brief. There is more paperwork after you finish the first set, but the nurse fills it out. Great thing about it is that you dont get asked the same question more than once!!! Waiting for the doctor once in the patient room took about 10 minutes. The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. I did not like the fact that the operating table I was put on didnt have the paper go all the way over where you lie down. I could only imagine what fluids have been dropped on it, but Im guessing they clean under the paper every time anyway. It was a thick plastic covered bed. The facility was very clean and there was no smell. Id recommend them if someone were to ask.
Took my daughter for her sports physical and we were in and out in just under an hour. The doctor and nurses were great and thorough. We will definitely go to them again for future physicals and urgent care.
Don’t trust in their appointment/ check in in advance process. I had an appointment for 2:40pm. Arrived at 2:25pm, had all paperwork done and even pre-paid. I was walked in the facility at 4pm. Once inside, things worked better, hence the 3 stars. I wonder why have appointments set if you cannot control it? Lessons learned.
Actual treatment was very good. However, it does absolutely no good to make an appointment. My appt was 12:40; I was seen at 2:00PM. They took walk-ins before me. False advertising for “no waiting” appointments.
Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and responsive. Mariana was very nice and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure/testing and made sure I was comfortable before we started. Marcel interpreted my results and gave me good information for follow up care. They both answered all of my questions which I was very thankful for as most places just write you off!
I went in with Covid and saw Dr. Roberts. He thoroughly explained what was going on inside my body and what to expect in the next couple of weeks. He was wonderful. If I could have him as my GP, I would do it in a heartbeat. The whole staff was great - on a busy Sunday morning.
Service is ok while you are there but try calling them to ask why they have not sent your prescription to the pharmacy. Three hours and all I get a busy signal. What business does not have the ability to put people in a queue??? Apparently NextCare.
Everything about the clinic is top notch, from the automated check-in, the personnel, the efficiency, and the care. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an urgent care location!!
Made appointment online for 10am. Was told to be there at 9:45. Arrived at 9:45. Didn’t get called back till 10:45. Didn’t get seen till 11:25. Only have 3 people working but appointment slots every 15 minutes. Waiting 2 hours with 3 children was frustrating.
The staff was friendly and professional. The website is very helpful to know how many people are waiting to be seen. I was seen immediately, given easily understandable information and had a Rx sent to my neighborhood drug store. It was so much better than being sick for another day. I would use them again.
Although the wait was a bit long, the check in online and paperwork process was super simple (even from a mobile device) and the doctor I saw was incredibly kind and helpful! I made an appt online prior to arrival so I would recommend that!
Took my daughter to this location to get seen on 7/26/22Walked up to the front desk where employee Kim was sitting. My daughter and i was not greeted with a smile at all. She just looked at me with a wierd look as if she was annoyed we came in. She did not speak, did not say how can I help you. Instead she says YES??I replied Hi, Im bringing my daughter to get seen. Kim looked at me with a firm face with her eyes bucked with a nasty attitude and said did you fill out paper work on line? I said oh no I didnt, I forgot that I needed to do that it had been a while since I was last here. She took a deep breath and said you need to go online. I told her no worries, I sat on my phone in the lobby and went online and signed in. I really forgot that you had to go online before arrival, I was thinking to go in and fill out paperwork.Kim is going to need a new job because customer service & dealing with ill patients aint it!!Other than that Doctor Roberts and Nurse Jillian were both very nice, police and professional!Jillian made the day much better for my daughter and let her pick out 2 stickers. The 4 stars is for the Doctor & the nurse only!Kim gets only 1 star!!
Today the wait wasn’t too bad. Usually it’s about 2 1/2 hours of waiting (!!) past our online appt time, but today it was only around 30 min. The PA was professional, thorough in assessment, and friendly. I recommend getting an online appt, then “checking in” online close to the appt time, and then waiting at home (if you live very near by) or in your car for the text to say it’s your time to be seen.
We have come here frequently and the staff and Drs are great. However today’s wait (with an appointment was 90 minutes before I ever saw the Dr. If my son didn’t really have to see the dr we would have left.
I have been to this urgent care twice now and the PA I saw tonight saw me last time too. He was amazing and understanding. Very professional and empathetic. Hoping I don’t have to come back BUT if I do, I’m looking forward to my experience. 10/10 would recommend!
And update. After all this, the CD with X-ray results was not readable in the orthopedic office. Bingo.I don’t understand, why, why is it considered normal to sit in a room 30 minutes waiting for the doctor???Not in line, but after you’ve been actually called in.I don’t understand how this level of service is considered “as expected”(((
Stay away from this place. had an appointment and took 2 hours to get simple x-rays only to be given someone elses images that werent correct and charged for it. Front desk manager wouldnt even bother to talk to me and disregarded me like I was nothing and would not acknowledge their mistake.
I was on trip and overnighting in Austin. A UTI was starting and I needed help. One hour after entering the office I was fixed up and ready to continue my journey home. WOW - thank you.
I visited this clinic exactly a week ago for some abdominal pains. I ended being shoo’ed away pretty much (blessing in disguise for me). The receptionist didn’t have much information on what could be done for me, just that I couldn’t be helped there due to her doing something on her cell phone. Not very helpful or compassionate. There are so many other wonderful medical clinics on this area (such as Baylor Scott & White). Don’t waste your time here.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Easiest drs appt ever
They were extremely busy, but I go in and was greeted by the nurse. Who was polite and very jovial. I had to have a Covid test. The nurse was gentle and efficient. I received a call about my results within a hour of leaving the clinic.
Horrible! Brought my son in today. We seen Philip Roberts. I basically told him what my son needed due to him having asthma and with the severity of his allergies now it will trigger his asthma; me as his mother knows what will occur when he get sick. My child came in with sore throat, nasal congestion, sneezing and coughing! Philip did not prescribe my child anything nor gave him a shot and wanted me to just give him an albuterol pump 4 times a day when he’s not even wheezing, mind you I have asthma myself and I know better than that! Over the counter meds wasn’t working for my child so when that happens I know he need something stronger! We needed up having to go to ER (same day) and they gave my child a steroid shot in which Robert could have given! I already knew that’s what he needed! ER doctor even stated that he should have been given one, you can clearly see that this child is miserable and isn’t feeling well! He needed relief! Robert needs to actually listen to when patients and parents are telling him something that they very well know about their child! We know what works and do not work for a child especially when we’ve been dealing with this for years! The experience here was horrible! Robert has no bed side manners, didn’t even try to listen or anything. Gave us discharge papers, left out the room didn’t say bye, have a nice day or anything! Robert is in the wrong profession with that type of attitude and may very well need to just retire! Wrong attitude to have when dealing with patients! I’ve never experienced a doctor so rude in my life! This was horrible!
Called and checked online for physical for my daughter. Was told walk ins were available and website said the same drove 25 min just to be told they changed half way through the day no walk ins for physical. Would have appreciated that info when i called which was not half way through the day was around 4.
I had an appointment that I booked online. When I went in for the appointment (5 min early), I was told that there were 11 people ahead of me. I let her know that I had an appointment with a specific time, she stated it was really not an “appointment”, but more like a reservation and that I would have to wait about an hour and a half to be seen.We left.
The staff and clinicians were really friendly and expedited the administrative work while providing sufficient and quality care during the clinical portions. They also provided me with a CD of my x-rays which I was really excited and surprised by. :)
Friendly people, clear directions, very acceptable wait times for a walk in location.Dr. listened to my chief complaint, discussed alternatives, explained why he was suggesting a course of medications and the short and long termImplications. Was very satisfied with the care I received.
I made an appointment online the day before, and arrived early yet was still waiting over an hour to be seen.Pricing is not easy to find. I dont know if it is available to be seen anywhere.. I looked and could not find it. I got through the whole process desperate because I was pretty sick thinking surely it could not cost too much. I got a bill for $190 for the consultation which seems like a heck of a lot for a quick visit. Total time with any other human being was less than 10 minutes. The rest was just waiting around to be seen.I got better so hooray, but it was far more unpleasant and expensive than it needed to be. I will never be returning here and if you have any alternatives available to you I would choose them.
Had to take advantage of NextCare a little over a week ago. First impressions; Lauren at the front desk was super nice and optimistic, I had to wait about 20 or so minutes to be seen which was fine. I was seen by Charles for vitals who was polite and asked why I was there and covered the basic questions, then he led me to the exam room where I waited for about 10 more minutes before seeing Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel listened to my complaint. She saved me from unnecessary expenses, and helped me understand what my problem really was. I was prescribed a few medications which completely helped me get back on my feet quickly and promptly. This was my first time using NextCare. I would certainly recommend them for convenience, accuracy, and customer care. Thanks!
The front desk lady and the back office technician was 💯 amazing very friendly and professional.
I signed up for a same day appointment! Super quick and convenient! The tending provider remembered me & treated my sinus infection with great bed side manners! This was a quick visit that I was able to knock it out during my lunch break! I love coming to this location & highly recommend! Great staff & quick service!
On March 14th 2021, I went in to be seen for my knee at NextCare Urgent Care.I was seen by Dr. Amanda, I just want to say that she was very polite, very understanding, very caring just all around super professional. She took the time out to listen to everything I had to say concerning my knee and sent me with equipment that I needed. Im so grateful for Doctors like her.
One of the worst urgent cares I have ever visited. Very badly organised, I had to wait more than 2hrs for someone to attend. Then the nurse walk in and no wish no hi whatsoever. No empathy at all from the front desk as well. Very poorly managed place in all departments. Avoid this place at all costs if possible.
PA Marcel Garza was super friendly with my daughter and we got her lab results within minutes and were in and out very quickly. Nurse was really nice and secretary checked us in fast. I Like this staff
This has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had at an urgent care. I’m here with my boyfriend who has severe stomach pains and a splitting headache. We were walk ins so I assumed there would be a wait. However, we were 3rd in line and did not get seen for OVER AN HOUR! Then when I called to check our place in line the receptionist told me an entire family had just gotten tested for covid before us which is why it took so long. If they would have told me that when I checked in I would have gone to a different urgent care because once we got in the room we waited for ANOTHER HOUR on getting seen and getting 2 shots. I even tried checking in with the doctors who would just tell me “it would be a minute”. My boyfriend has severe pains and we could have gone to a different urgent care and been done in under an hour but this place just doesn’t know how to communicate with their patients. Never coming back to this place.
We all know the wait is long and terrible, but the care you get once youre in is awesome. The staff legit listens and always helps. Ive never left without being accurately and compassionately treated for whatever I went in for. Rare to find a place like this.
Got in quickly based on making an appointment in advance. Great staff, nurse and doctor. All very friendly and they took the time necessary to explain exam results and treatment plan.
Was treated very well and had great interaction with the doctor but took about two hours before I was seen. I got there at 12:30 and left at 3:45. I’m sure things are crazy right now but I was very sick and in pain. Service once inside was very quick and thoughtful.
Care is professional and good. Wait can be very frustrating as the team sits around while you wait. Our family has been there often, but even with an online appointment it takes a long time. Of course, there are emergency situations, but overall there has never been a recognition of patients waiting time, even when no one else is there. We are looking for an alternative.
Lady at the front was very friendly. Came for COVID Rapid test. She added me into CARES ACT (even though I had no knowledge of it) and got my test for free. Nurse also was very professional. Best experience!!!
There was a long wait at another urgent care which is why I went NextCare. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming, nurse and PA were knowledgeable and very helpful, and I was seen very quickly. This will definitely be my first stop if I ever need to visit an urgent care in the future.
I would like to thank Dr komal Patel for helping me out this whole year and talking with me about my injury. She was very professional and she helped me out when I had questions to ask her. The back staff, Jacob was very professional he did an excellent job. The front staff Sara also was very professional greeted me every time I walked in. I would recommend this NextCare Urgent Care in Cedar Park to all my family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful experience and thank you for taking care of me when I needed to help.
