Midwest Express Clinic

I have been to Midwest Express clinic twice. Once for stitches in my shin (which was practically painless!) and last week for a check-up, complete with with bloodwork. Every time I go here, I am in and out so quickly (stitches took about 40 min and I was back in my car).The whole staff- especially Kristen and Dominic - were outstanding.Highly recommend this clinic!

I love midwest express, its very helpful to have a place where I can take my kids when they get sick, without an appointment! Theyre super nice people, very clean, and the wait is not long at all!! Im very grateful for places like this ❤

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The triage nurse was very thorough- she performed a very thorough patient history and assessment. I like that once she knew the symptoms we had, she tested for everything that could cause the symptoms. We had answers as soon as the doctor walked in the room. Doctor did a very thorough patient assessment. She was very knowledgeable. She was very patient and kind. She took her time with us, answering any questions we had, and gave us direction on how to proceed with medications and lowering our risk for reinfecting once we got home and had started antibiotics. I loved that kids get a nice little goody bag afterward as well. What I REALLY love is our prescriptions are ALWAYS IMMEDIATELY sent to the pharmacy. I also LOVE that every time we’ve come here we’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen! From the time we walk in to the time we leave is always under 30 minutes!

Ms Mia at the front desk was phenomenal and very friendly! And then the lovely lass - I didn’t get her name but she had long dark hair with bangs and glasses- made absolutely sure I was comfortable and at ease. Even when doing some of my tests!When I met the doc, she was an absolute saint and like everyone before her ensured I was comfortable and double checked on my condition and symptoms. Not to mention made a great conversationalist. It was in and out; especially for such a thorough and in depth appointment! I’d definitely recommend this location and all its staff ten times over.

I had a great experience I was called into room quickly. I was seen right away and the doctor assistant was very helpful and took care of my wound and also gave me , gauze, and medicine to take home with me. I would recommend Midwest to everyone needing medical care. I have been here many times .

I’m not one to trust just anyone with my health. My current Dr was full and I needed medicine. So I visited Midwest Express. It was a great experience. The Dr was thorough. She was friendly and quick. I will return if needed.

In a world where sicknesses dont work with your family doctors schedule I am very thankful for Midwest Express Urgent Care. I prefer them over the other local options. I have seen Kristin every time I have been there, she is a very smart Physician Assistant. All of the staff there is friendly.

Ladies we’ve all suffered a UTI at the most inconvenient time! Everyone at Midwest Express Cedar Lake was incredibly sympathetic & I was out the door on the road to recovery in less than a half hour. Very impressed & all better!! Highly recommend.

My daughter was seen here and they treated her with care and love! it was fast and very friendly service! Brittany Robbins is the friendliest and most kind person Ive ever dealt with! 5 star worker!!

Midwest Express was only open urgent care on Christmas, and very much appreciated as my teen had a severe double ear Infection. Staff was efficient, polite and made sure my teen was heard. Now if we could get a pharmacy open on holidays, instead of having to wait 24 hours for prescriptions. Maybe Midwest Express can share their success and attitude of taking care of those with health issues on holidays. We would all benefit! Thank you Midwest Express Cedar Lake!

Staff was amazing and very patient with my 3 year old who was terrified. We were in and out and got a goody bag, definitely a good pick me up at the end !

Entire staff was friendly and accommodating! Facility was clean. Very quick admission and addressed all of my issues. Dr/nurse was very honest. Great experience!

Medical Technician was very explanatory as to what he was doing and what to expect next. NP was fantastic as well. You never have this anymore even though were trained to do such. As a Nurse myself its very important to keep patients aware of whats going on and it just doesnt happen anymore. I definitely recommend Midwest Express Clinic Cedar Lake Indiana.

I took my wife Janice into the clinic Dominic at the front desk he was so nice got her checked in quickly! They made her and I feel so comfortable. Her doctor Brianna did the diagnosis I believe she was spot on! Thank you!! Will be back!

I visited the Cedar Lake clinic and got in quickly, the staff was friendly and efficient and was able to get diagnosed and get a prescription all very quickly. Kristen and the staff there are great!

Great people and Great Doctors over there in Cedarlake !!!!They Always take care of the paperwork needed for work , Fast getting in and out with services rendered. .. I had the worst flu Ive ever had.. Knowing this they gave me the option of calling them upon arrival and sitting in my car till they were ready for me to go (which was minimal) then they call you too come in and go on back and get to business... I thought this was great and a safe practice that all Doctor offices should do.

Excellent experience from when I walked in the door til I walked out the door. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Provider Breanne was very thorough and knowledgeable. It meant a lot to me that she took the time to educate me on my situation. 10/10

Went in yesterday for a serious cut on my finger . The nurses and doctors there were so helpful made me feel calm through the whole thing . Would come back again

I went in around 8:30 am, was greeted pleasantly and only waited a few minutes to be seen. All staff was friendly and professional. Glad to have this Urgent Care near by.

I came here because my blood pressure was high and they took good care of me. Everyone from the receptionist, nurse, to the doctors were great! They helped me get my blood pressure down in no time.

When I cant get an appointment at my regular doctors office I can conveniently go to Midwest express and receive great care. Dominic is absolutely amazing with my little guys. He went to H.S. with my grown kids and makes my little guys feel comfortable and welcome when we have to come in. Keep up the good work 😍

We were in IL for Christmas and both my husband and I were not feeling well. Midwest got us both in to the doctor Christmas morning!! In and out with prescriptions under an hour.Great experience

Excellent experience! I dealt with 3 staff members. The receptionist, (didn’t catch her name) Dominic in Triage, and Amanda, who treated me. All three were ABOVE BOARD, so very kind and professional. Wait time was less than 10 mins and my prescription was called in to the pharmacy and was almost ready for pick up by the time I got to CVS not five mins away. Cedar Lake Minute Clinic is definitely, my go-to place if I’m not able to get in to my Doc.

Love the medical staff that work here. They’re always pleasant. I’ve been there many times. I’m always confident in my diagnosis, and feel better when I leave. Would recommend!

This staff never fails. They are all super kind,caring and more importantly passionate in how they treat their patients. You always go places in life and hear some sort of work place drama. The only thing the nurse practitioner knows how to do is to prescribe ibuprofen and Tylenol. We been going there for a long time for any kind of health issues they prescribed those two medications. Today they didnt prescribe anything. I am confused the practitioner spend time going to college and only learned two medications. The management needs new practitioner who knows what to do. Why should I see your provider if I want to buy over the counter medicine.

I came in late with no appointment with terrible rib pain. Everyone was very kind, professional and I was in and out within 25 minutes. I got some answers and a X-ray within that timeframe- I got enough information that I could bring into my NP within the week. Would recommend 100%

Awesome facility!! Dr. Olga is fantastic!! She was the only one to figure out my friend has sleep apnea and is sending him for a sleep study. She is really wonderful!!

Kerry who works there is absolutely amazing. She is just great overall. Great with kids, my son saw her and she was so helpful. I cant say enough about her.

Dr. Thomas was excellent in providing services for my daughter. She had an abscess in her mouth and needed antibiotics until I could get her in to see dental. Very nice and patient with my daughter as she is 3 and has Down Syndrome and did not want to cooperate. He also let me know of a dental place nearby that offered emergent dental services! Thanks!

Took advantage of checking in online. It was busy when I arrived there, but I didnt wait long. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The dr was very detailed and informative when explaining the results of my test and both her and the two nurses here were friendly and made me feel less nervous. Also the place smelled almost overly sanitized and disinfected. Definitely recommend if you got the option to choose the urgent care you go to.

They gave me the best news of my life that I was pregnant and I wasn’t expecting it, especially when I have been told for over 10 years that I would never be able to get pregnant. Best day ever!

The PA Kristen was very informative and provided me with everything I needed for my visit. Brianna was professional and personal as well. Front desk were very kind too!

Fabulous staff here at the cedar lake Midwest express! Beautiful office, clean, personable and knowledgeable staff. From check in to discharge someone was always communicating with me. My kids love it here, too!

I had a horrible case of Poison Ivy. I was miserable and itchy and my PCP couldnt see me for a week. I walked in with no call ahead about an hour before they closed. Front desk staff super nice, the nurse who took my vitals was friendly and empathetic. The RN that treated me was quick, efficient and super warm. 10/10. I was in and out in under 20 min with an injection and two perscriptions to relieve my misery. The RN that treated had amazing hair too. Not relevant to the treatment, but it was super cool with silver and a magenta/purple highlight. Totes Jelly

I’ve never been to an urgent care before, but my first time was at Midwest.. and it was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly. They saw my 9 year old son within 5 mins of us getting there. The doctor on site was super sweet and patient with him. I would absolutely recommend and if needed will be going back.

They see you fast. Very professional. Dont have to wait days to see a doctor. The doctor I saw was Briana. Excellent people skills.

First time going to Midwest, my daughter had a rash on her feet and refused the *other* urgent care, and we didn’t wanna wait for an appt with her PCP. Everyone was super nice, facility was clean, and I really liked that the doctor wants her to come back in a week to check it out and follow up herself instead of just sending us on our merry way like others. I felt heard, like the doctor actually listened, and cared, she was very thorough and overall just a great experience for being at the doctor!

I have come here many times instead of going to the GP and every single time the service is fast, compassionate and professional. I highly recommend Midwest Express Clinic.

I love this Midwest Express Clinic. Every single nurse, doctor, receptionist we had dealt with has been wonderful. Even when they are busy, the wait has never been too long for us. The office is also very clean, and it’s so appreciated. Even when they are swamped, everyone is always kind. I love having Midwest Express so close, we’ve never had a bad experience here!

It was wonderful. When youre sick, you want to be home. They took me right away, gave me good care, and the staff was very friendly and helpful to make me feel comfortable. Id go back in a heartbeat. Trying to make an appointment with my Dr.... , maybe they can squeeze me in a few days later. Going to the emergency room is another nightmare. I needed immediate help and got here!Thanks!

The staff was very nice. The NP I saw was not. She first accused me of taking drugs…which I do not. I had a pain in my side and my back along with sensitive skin to the touch in those areas. She basically called me a baby and to take ibuprofen. On the way out I asked her if I should get blood work…she said I was “reaching” and said I was paranoid. 3 hrs later I was curled up in a ball on the floor. I was rushed to the ER. Turns out I have a kidney stone

It was a very good experience. Everyone was very knowledgeable and kind and pleasant. I especially liked a lady Doctor Who took her time and explained everything to me. The facility is very upbeat and clean. I recommend this place highly.

Place was hopping so I was nervous it would be forever, but theyre efficient. We had X-rays and dx right there with soft cast applied. They can do a lot in that little place! I was impressed with friendlessness, open about wait time, everyone was thorough and professional.

From the moment I walked into the Midwest Clinic in Cedar Lake, I was treated with absolute kindness and concern. The wait was only a few minutes. The physician I saw was amazing! He truly listened to my concerns and he also went further to figure out why I was having difficulty. I have a follow up date to come back next week and I feel at ease. The prescriptions he prescribed have already started helping me in the first day. I highly recommend going to this Midwest Clinic! Exceptional service! Everyone is super great and there are many health issues they can handle there. You will definitely feel taken care of!

This place seems to only care about money. I came here because I didnt have a primary care doctor. We just moved to the area. I was in and out so fast that I dont know how they can even charge me. I went in for a very concerning bump on my neck, which obviously had me worried. I was seen by whomever, who first couldnt find it, until I showed them. Once they found it, I then was told I needed an ultrasound and whisked out of the room, back into the lobby. Not a single word was said other than that. No explanation, no nothing for that matter. I had to basically beg them to explain anything to me, I felt like a huge inconvenience to them. Then, I got the ultrasound, which was an absolute waste of money!! I had to call to get my results. All I got was that it looks like it might be a lymph node, and itll go away by itself. Thanfully, I got a real doctor who actually cares about their patients, and they are working to resolve my issues. I had to get another ultrasound because the one they did wasnt detailed enough to get any vital information from it. So, I paid hundreds of dollars for an ultrasound and appointment with them for absolutely no reason at all. While still needing treatment for what was really going on. I would strongly recommend NOT visiting their locations. They also make it seem like they want to be your primary care doctor, which is completely ridiculous given that they are an emergency provider, for emergencies, not day to day care. What a waste of time and money. Lastly, they will blast you with reminders to leave, then a 5-star review.

Receptionist was extremely nice and compassionate. Our nurse was the same, very friendly and Dr Keller was wonderful. She took her time and really cared about my daughter! Cannot say enough good thing about our visit!

Was visiting from out of town when I woke up with a fever and a sore throat. Midwest Express Clinic was quick, courteous, and clean! Had a great experience and got my diagnosis and my meds pronto. The doctor even called me after my visit to let me know about some potential side effects of my drugs which I really appreciated. Would definitely use them again!

My son was seen by the nurse practitioner Bre and she was great with handling his care. The front office ladies were very helpful and made our check-in process pleasurable. Thank you!

Yesterday was the first time I’ve been here. My 10yo was sick and needed to be seen. Another place told us a wait time of at least 2.5 hrs….so when I called here they said that although they couldn’t give me a wait time over the phone there were only a few people in the waiting room and they do their best to see patients within an hour. Sure enough we were seen within 10 mins of me filling out paperwork. Both the nurse and PA were very sweet and explained everything that was being done. We waiting maybe another 10-15 mins for test results. All in all, it was a pleasant experience given the circumstances.

I have 5 children and everytime I go to Midwest Express clinic they are friendly, helpful and quick to get you taken care of and then out the door. It definitely is a blessing to this busy mama. I highly recommend them!

Between myself and my husband we have been to MEC 3 times recently. Each time was fast and efficient. The location is very convenient for us and best of all they accept VA coverage which is a very big plus!

My first time at this particular clinic in Cedar Lake. I’ve been To Midwest Express Clinics at other locations before. This one was large, everything was exceptionally clean. All the staff were nice & caring. I was very impressed. They listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and did a good evaluation/exam to cover my concerns. Definitely will use this one again if a need arises. Added bonus it’s only 5 minutes from my home.

My experience was great! I got help that I needed. The visit was long enough to share all important things. The doctor listened and was very gentle.

Doctors are good. The one receptionist is nice. All the other ones suck. Checked in waited over and hour and a half for my call to come in. Thankfully I called because the receptionist that took my paperwork I guess threw it away because we werent even on the list. I guess she was too worried about her lunchbreak. May be ill just stick to our regular doctors.

Midwest Express Clinic - Cedar Lake is top notch. They do about all the main medical needs from annual check-ups to stitches to physicals to blood work and then some. All of the staff have been very welcoming and thorough in explaining everything. Highly recommend.

I have gone to Midwest express clinic for everything from sinus and ear infections to x-rays for a busted ankle. They have always been welcoming and timely and gave me proper referrals when needed. They even helped set up my appointments for referrals and after care. The clinic is very clean and professional.

Went in on a Sunday morning as a walk-in. Would highly recommend this facility. Was busy, but the wait wasnt bad at all. Receptionist was very polite. Nurse and doctor were personable and professional. Took time with me, answered any questions I had.

My visit to Midwest Express clinic was very satisfying, re: my visit as a patient. The receptionist/office manager was friendly and professional as were the NP and her assistant. My visit was brief and my poison ivy issue was addressed.The only glitch was that the paperwork I filled out on their website was lost in cyberspace and so I had to redo the same in office.I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a professional, friendly and efficient urgent health care office.

Fast service! I thought my son had an allergy cold but they discovered an onset ear infection & started him on meds before the ear pain started. He’s starting to feel much better! Thank you!

Hurt my foot, had X-rays done. Gave me crutches and put me in a splint. Very nice and kind people! Fast and efficient. Next day went for xrays, said they would call same day. A whole week of calling and no answer. One week layer, I called for the last time and finally got an answer! One week too long!

Making the appointment for my son online was extremely fast and stress free. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the front desk and saw our medical team within 10 minutes. Everyone was fantastic and helpful and I would definitely go back and refer others! Thank you for all your help!

I needed to see a medical professional on Christmas Eve and Midwest Express Clinic was there for me. They were open. They listened to my problems. Thwy were equipped with the equipment to check my heart function. They checked me out and ran pertinent tests. They prescribed a medicine to help with the pain I am having. I was pleased with the concern and care I received.

This is our go to place since it’s really close to our house and every time we go, we have such amazing experience. Everyone is kind, they make my husband and myself and our kids feel so comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been to this urgent care three times since moving here. Once for a severe sprained ankle, where they were so quick to give me an xray and then send me home with a boot to help me walk. Most recently, I went because I couldn’t hold down any food and hardly any liquids for three days. I had already been to the emergency room because the first day I got so dehydrated. The ER was hardly any help—sending me home as soon as I could walk out with a bag. This urgent care literally gave me a shot, some anti nausea meds, and explained exactly how I should drink and eat to settle my stomach. By that night I was able to eat again. They’re literally so kind and fast and I never feel judged. This is the best urgent care I’ve ever been to.

Everyone there from the front desk to the caregivers were so kind and friendly. They take their time to talk everything over with you to make sure you understand and are comfortable. The office is very clean and inviting.One thing I would love for then to expand on services offered. Like spider vein removal.

The Cedar Lake Midwest express clinic has been one of the greatest additions to our town. My family is very grateful for the helpful sympathetic staff and doctors that has helped us on several different visits. Thank you for caring!

I took my daughter here for a school physical. Everyone we encountered was pleasant (reception, medical assistant, provider). Once we were in an exam room, we were informed there would be a short wait time. Knowing there would be a wait alleviated any frustration I might have had not knowing. Overall, great experienceUpdate 8/20/23: I have been here several times since my original review 2 years ago. Every visit has been exceptional.

Yesterday was the first time I had ever stepped into this location and was I blown away! Everyone was so kind and patient. I felt welcomed and heard. They were so good with my children (who were the patients) and I walked out feeling like yes i finally found somewhere where i feel comfortable and feel like i can trust their expertise!! Getting checked in was fast, the receptionist was so pleasant as was the nurse and the doctor was pleasant and knowledgeable. Was in and out with a diagnosis within a half hour, prescription called in promptly. Lits of compassion and respect for privacy there as well. Used this place before and was impressed then as well

I absolutely love the Cedar Lake Location! The doctors there are outstanding. They all take their time, let you express your concerns/symptoms, and take them into consideration. They dont treat you like cattle and rush u out. That is rare to find anymore.

Great experience... I have had bad experiences in the past with them.. as in I was the 1st appointment and 1st one in the waiting room and I sat for hours and they took everyone who came after me 1st....but its in a covenant place for me so I thought I would try again ..and it was much better this time !!

I use this clinic often when I needed because it is convenient close to my house and open late hours. No issues till yesterday visit.According to the “ new policy “ they need your credit/debit card in file and you pay copay before you get in…. Seriously people! Insurance info is not enough, you need” just in case “our CC in file where all this fraud is going on regular bases? If this is how you going to work you are losing a lots of people. I’m done with you! Front desk are not very pleasant. Doctor and nurse was very nice and informative.

My experience at Midwest Express Clinic was very good. I was greeted promptly and warmly. Staff was efficient and courteous. Nurse Practioner was very kind and explained the diagnosis and ordered medication. I would go back anytime I need to.

Chenoa was very helpful when the pharmacy was not. She showed bed side manner to the fullest. She stayed on the phone with me until my problem was solved and I was able to get my sons medicine. The doctor (I forgot her name) was unbelievably nice and listened to my concerns. Great experience.

2 year old Daughter got a gash in her head playing with her bigger sister, the nurses gave her toys and got her comfortable right away after a super short time in the waiting room. Unfortunately she had to have a staple done (which I’m grateful they do that there!) but the nurses blew bubbles for her and made it a breeze. The PA was informative and gentle. 10/10 experience. In and out within a half hour, saved us an ER trip, and were open at a conveniently late time.

Scheduling was simple. The front desk employee was friendly. The nurse practitioners or physician assistants were thorough and professional. They also put me at ease with their caring manner.

We are regular attenders to the Cedar Lake location when our reg docs are weeks out to get in. The entire team at this location has a faithful record of being kind, thoughtful, great sense of humor and accommodating. Even during peek sick season they are quick and eager to help with great personalities! Love the movies on in the waiting room too !

I went in to get a B12 shot and it was my first time. I didn’t get the woman who administered my shots name but she was awesome!! Super personable and friendly and I will be back because of her! Customer service is really important and when you have a good team it makes a difference! It’s also very clean and great location.

Dr. Keller was extremely rude and judgemental. I brought my infant daughter in for a rash on her back that I had just noticed the night before. She then tried to accuse me of lying and that this rash mustve been there much longer and I just didnt feel like bringing her in. Then, without any other checkups other than taking her temperature (which not to mention, she physically pinned my daughters arms down and said it was our fault that she wasnt crying), she just sends us away with a medicine for strep. I asked her if she was even going to test my daughter for strep, and she rolled her eyes and with an exasperated sigh, she goes well I guess if you want to we can test for that. She gets tested for strep, influenza, COVID, and RSV. She didnt even have strep. SHE HAD RSV. she actually intended on sending us away with medicine for a completely different illness and who knows what that couldve done to her body. All because she was too lazy and couldnt be bothered to do a literal 10 minute test.

I love Midwest Express. They are always very kind and most importantly prompt. I get the care I need and Im back to my life healthy and happy. Great job.

I went into the Midwest Express Clinic in Cedar Lake last night expecting to be there for hours and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The staff was so kind and gentle and efficient. The NP was amazing; seriously a knowledgeable, warm, caring vibe. We will be back for sure!

I had a pleasant experience at the urgent care facility. I was in the door at 6:30pm and walking out at 6:55 with a diagnosis and a prescription phoned in. The desk and PA that took care of me were pleasant and professional.

I have been to 2 different Midwest Express locations, multiple times, over the last year and a half. At both locations, I was impressed with the service and very happy with the people who have taken care of me. Sometimes it gets stacked up, like everything else nowadays, but I have never had an unreasonable wait. Wish my town would get one!

My family loves this place. Thwy are ALL nice, professional, and personable. 90% of the time, you get in and out. Very lovely and convient office.

Very convenient. All the staff were extremely polite and great with my young child. Highly recommended for an urgent care. The emergency rooms are busy and expensive. If you just need a simple check up, this is the place to go for sure. Thank you Midwest Express!

The staff seems caring, no matter how busy they are. I always feel that Ive received the best care and never felt like I was a burden when I ask questions.

I had a bad cough for over a week. My primary care doctor did nothing but give me a cough syrup. I came to the clinic and saw Karri the nurse practitioner and she ordered a round of antibiotics. I came back the following week and the cough was a little better. She then put me on the course of two antibiotics, and now I have no cough. Cary took the time to listen to my concerns. She took very good care of me and I will be back to see her if I have any further problems. My care was excellent and this facility is wonderful.

Fast and friendly service from beginning to end. They care for their patients and dont just rush you through. Even when the wait is longer because so many people need to be seen, the doctors and nurses take the time to get to the bottom of it and help you feel better.

This facility is great! Very clean, and as far as getting tested for COVID they follow proper guidelines. This is done by keeping patients in their cars until the office is ready for the patient to enter the facility, and go directly to the room they will be examined in. We drove from Chicago to go to this facility after our initial visit because of the great experience we had after Thanksgiving. Highly recommend this facility and the staff is great!!

My son was seen, and they wanted him to follow up a week later. We made an appt, arrived 10 minutes early. Waited 10 minutes in the lobby and then called back to the triage room. After a few health questions and vitals, we were taken back to another exam room. We waited 40 minutes in this room, and then decided we were ready to leave. I think someone should have come to the room and said something about a long wait, or explain something/anything.... But nothing. No one ever came into the room.I decided that my time was worth more than being forgotten in an exam room. I peaked out the door and said, I guess we should leave. This was heard, and we were finally seen after this medical professional/ NP? apologized profusely for our wait.We paid $40 copay/and waited 40+ minutes for them to tell us that my sons lab tests were negative. We were with that medical professional a whopping 4 minutes. Seriously?! Im sure you will charge my insurance for a full exam too, right?Another sketchy thing... copays. A week ago, one was not collected, and I had to sign a paper, and this week, the front desk said it was policy to collect it if required from insurance. My insurance didnt change in a week. You better believe I will be watching what they charge the insurance company and disputing anything that didnt happen.Im extremely disappointed, and feel scammed out of $40copay.

My 20 month old was sick and pcp was booked for at least a day, so we came here. The staff was very friendly and patient with my sick toddler. The office was clean and we were in and out within 30 minutes! Couldn’t ask for anything better. They even had a little goody bag for her with stickers and a toy. Nice place and wouldDefinitely recommend

I stopped in after work for lower back pain. I was seen right away and was cared for perfectly. They even had me schedule a recheck to make sure I’m getting better!! I will definitely be using this facility in the future.

This place is great. I signed up for a time slot online, so I could just walk in and get looked at quickly. Everyone was friendly, the place was clean, and the staff helped resolve my health issue quickly.

This place is a joke. They dont have doctors, they have providers. They arent properly equipped. Their form is offensive asking about assigned genders. Genders arent assigned, theyre genetic, LITERALLY! Theres nothing express about it, unless you have their app, apparently. Is this a club or a clinic?This place seems predatory. If you need real medical assistance, Id suggest going to a real hospital or a real urgent care clinic.

Everytime we go, and Ive been to two different locations, everyone is so nice and takes such good care of my son! We dont wait to long which is great. And the doctors always seem so caring. I dont have any complaints and would highly recommend this place.

Midwest clinic fails to update billing history and payments and continually withdraws already paid bills without authorization from my account. Have called their hotline several times and spoke to representatives several times and requested a full billing history to reclaim over payment. Midwest refuses to email or mail billing history. I will be contacting my bank to stop unauthorized payments and possibly retaining an attorney to resolve this matter. Beware fellow patrons.

Midwest Cedar Lake location .Very clean! We have had several appointments there and each time the staff is very friendly and thorough. Scheduling and check in are easy online. Have never waited very long to be seen. Very nice option to have so close to home!!

The service was quick and very good. I was seen by a doctor within 20 minutes and out the door not soon after. They seem to care about their patients.

My daughter & family have been going to this Midwest Clinic in Cedar Lake since it opened. I couldn’t get into my own doctor last week so decided to go there for my first visit. I made an evening appointment on Tuesday March 22nd at 5:45. To my surprise, there was only one person ahead of me. I was called back within 5 minutes and out of there by 6:15. They scheduled a recheck for Saturday March 26 10am, in which I walked right in and they immediately put me in a room to wait for doctor. About 5 minutes later Dr. Vivian came in, we discussed my plan for the healing process & I was out in 10 minutes. The staff was so respectful & professional.Okay, had to go back there on Friday April 15th. Made an appointment at 5:05 and checked in while in my car. Only waited 5 minutes to get a room and 5 minutes for the NP to come in. The total time in & out was 45min.A great experience for not feeling well!

Last Tuesday was my first time here, and at any therapy place to talk to someone.When I walked in I was greeted, and was given paperwork to fill out. After that I was called by my therapist Claire. She was lovely, kind, and listened to what I had to say. Claire also asked me the right questions. Ill be coming back to this place again.

I went to Midwest express clinic in Cedar Lake Indiana because I could not get into my regular doctor. I went there because my ear hurt. The provider I saw told me I had fluid in my ears. She went on to completely shame and degrade me for refusing a Covid test when I knew I didn’t have it. She also shamed me for not being vaccinated. It’s my choice not to put an experimental vaccine in my body. I am on blood pressure medication and by the time I left my blood pressure was 180/98. This is by far the most unprofessional group of medical providers I have ever have ever experienced . I would never recommend this business to anyone. If you are looking for professional responsible medical care this is not the place for you. In fact, my veterinarian provides better care for my pets than I received from this business.

Always satisfied with this particular clinic. Staff is extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. They get you in right away and always make you feel like they want to help you and are glad you are there. Great with kids.

Staff is nice, place is clean and new, but not the brightest crayons in the box. I sent both my kids for strep tests on 2 different days and they were seen by 2 different doctors. They were both prescribed antibiotics and both ended up with the total wrong dosage amount. One kid was getting way too much and another no where near enough. Kind of crazy Im the one that had to catch that.

The receptionist was extremely patient and more than willing to take her time with me. I waited maybe 5 minutes at most to go in the back to see the doctor and when I saw Dr. Keller she was extremely helpful and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend this particular Urgent Care to everyone.

I took my son to Midwest Express in Cedar Lake a few days ago. Everyone was fantastic! My son has autism and gets anxiety about going to see a doctor. They were all great with him and were very kind to him. This is our go-to doctors office because most of the time it’s impossible to get the kids in with their pediatrician- by the time we can get an appt. our kids will either be super sick or not sick anymore. I love the convenience of Midwest and the folks there are pretty great.

I was able to get in right away on a Saturday afternoon and got in and out quickly. Very nice staff.

The NP was rude, refused to help my dad with pain after we told her he has been taking motrin 800 and tylenol. Asked for some thing 1 or 2 pills to get him through till we can get him to Ortho urgent care tomorrow. She refused said she not allowed to prescribe something controlled. She didnt even offer to give him motrin 800 which is not controlled. As an NP you are allowed to prescribe controlled substances. If midwest does not allow it then they should advertise that! They also did not tell us when we got there and seen at 515 that they would not have his x-ray results back tonight. if we knew that we would have never went there.

From check in thru PA visit was simple, quick and I will definitely be back if needed. One thing I didnt get was any paperwork on my visit when I left. Other than that this was close to home and easier/faster than setting appt. with my doctor.

I always have a great experience at every MEC I have been to. Everyone is always helpful and friendly! Brittany Press made my visit feel so personal and welcoming! She helped me with everything I needed! I will definitely use MEC in the future!

Good communication, in and out in around 20 minutes for a Covid test for work. I haven’t had luck at Dyer Midwest Express over the past 2 years but the Cedar Lake location is very efficient. They are good listeners and they do not have fragile egos like at the Dyer facility. I will be going here in the future!

The physicians at this location are always very professional and compassionate. The staff there is also friendly and helpful. I usually try to avoid going to urgent care clinics, but the Midwest Express Clinic in Cedar Lake, IN has become my go to especially when having any COVID related symptoms.
