NextCare Urgent Care Cave Creek

The staff was very friendly and the office is very convenient and clean. Unfortunately I dont think they were thorough and my cough turned into pneumonia within a few days even though I was taking the medication they recommended. I ended up going to a different clinic because they didnt have anyone that could take chest X-rays. The new clinic put me on a much more aggressive treatment plan and I am doing much better.

I am here on business and from out of state, so I don’t have a primary Dr here. I had a UTI and knew I needed antibiotics. The staff was great, the NP that saw me was fantastic. They were very efficient in how they ran the culture first then triage and saw the NP while my results were in progress. I appreciated the friendly staff and how quickly I was treated. I liked the ability to make the appointment online and add what I needed to be seen for ahead of time. I’d use this facility again if needed.

The worst experience, waste of money and time!I recently visited an urgent care facility, and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in a medical setting. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a front office staff that was not only unhelpful but downright argumentative. Instead of feeling welcomed and cared for, I felt like I was an inconvenience to them.After a long wait, I was finally called in to see the doctor. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. The doctor had an absolutely awful bedside manner, raising their voice at me rather than listening to my concerns. I felt belittled and dismissed, as if my symptoms didnt warrant any serious attention. It was shocking to be treated this way when all I wanted was some help.To add insult to injury, I was told that I could receive a refund for my visit due to the poor service, but after several follow-ups, I discovered that they had no intention of honoring that promise. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic to get me in the door and take my money without providing any real care.Overall, my experience at this urgent care was nothing short of a nightmare. I left feeling worse than when I arrived, both physically and emotionally. I would strongly advise anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere. You deserve better than being yelled at by a doctor and receiving no help from the staff. Save yourself the trouble and seek care where you will be treated with respect and compassion.

We went to urgent care with some saguaro cactus thorns that just wouldn’t come out. The nurse practitioner was extremely patient and kind dealing with my son and his pain involved in removing these thorns. The wait time was minimal, even without an appointment. I highly recommend this location.

Woke up with an earache and was worried about an infection. Was able to get in that afternoon. Scheduling process easy, everyone I encountered on site was friendly and helpful. didnt end up having an infection and was given advice on OTC solutions that have already made an impact.

When I went to this facility, you would think it was 2021 because they acted like we are in a full swing pandemic. Only after I arrived for my appointment did they tell me they require a mask to be worn.I asked the person at the front desk if they refuse to see me unless I put a mask on and stated that I am not aware that anyone can make me wear a mask. Her response is that they are a private company and I can just go make an appointment somewhere else.That is what you’re gonna tell someone who arrived for an urgent care appointment and may be there because they’re not feeling well?I found it to be very disrespectful treatment for them to say that to me when they could’ve let me know ahead of time; I had to fill out all kinds of forms online and received a text message confirming my appointment. Why didn’t they advise me then? Everyone knows that the CDC does not require masks anymore and there is tons of information that they don’t work anyway.It is too bad because I did see a physician assistant named Taylor, who was excellent, and seemed very knowledgeable, and gave me good advice for the reason of my visit.However, I will not be going there again unless they were going to change this policy.

Saw me in about 30 minutes and had a diagnosis shortly thereafter. Highly recommended! One on 60th St. said they are not accepting new patients but you say you are an Urgent Care facility come on now! Glad I found NextCare😀

Everyone was very kind and attentive to me. The doctor/ PA who cared for me was compassionate and willing to listen and engage with me to figure out what would be a good treatment approach given my sensitivities to medications.

Scheduled an appointment in the morning for the afternoon. Showed up and only 1 other person waiting yet we still waited over almost 2 hrs. To get in a room. Then through conversation I picked up on the fact that they dont use M.D. but rather N.P.& P.A. of which my questioning may have upset P.A. because she acted condescending. Ultimately we got what we needed. P.S. they still force masks upon you, apparently their policys are not science based.

I sought out NextCare because a wasp string to my finger had become infected. I was processed quickly and in out in 30 min. with an antibiotic. The NP was friendly and efficient. If the need ever arises again, I would return to NextCare.

I came bec I tested positive for COVID at home after my bf & coworker also tested positive days ago. I have symptoms & was told by my doctor to go to urgent care. They tested me again at this location, barely touching my nose when she swabbed it & it said negative. For that reason, plus saying Paxlovid is reserved for people who are hospitalized only, they refused to treat me for Covid even tho I have symptoms & was exposed & have a positive test at home.Feels like they just wanted to run my insurance for $ instead of actually treating me. I will never be back. Feels like a scam.

From the welcoming from the receptionist to the PAs assistant to the PA herself this was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. They were all very professional, friendly and helpful.I recommend them highly.

Love that you can make an appt and walk-in. However, if they have no appts available theyll make you come back at a later time. Staff was very friendly and place was clean. They make you wait in your car (hot AZ summer does not mix) and if you dont wear a mask they make you wait outside before they check you out. Also would have given them a higher star rating but they will only see you for one issue. So if you have a sprained wrist & a large gash on your leg that needs stitches or a sinus infection & possible UTI, theyll make you pick one only to have looked at. Lastly, they dont always have an X-ray tech for X-rays so I suggest you call ahead of time. Other than that NP seemed knowledgeable and helped with my issue.

Great experience. Everyone was super helpful and got me in quickly. Isabella was great answering any questions I had and was very nice. Would definitely recommend!

After second day of very sore throat, my fever was now 102. Had an appointment within an hour with Taylor. Swabs: Flu-negative, Covid-positive. She gave me 2 prescriptions and advice for quarantining. I’m feeling great and really grateful for the experience.

I arrived with hearing problems due to in-the-ear hearings aids. The problem wax ear wax pushed into the ear canal by the aids(and me). The problem was resolved speedily. Thanks to efficient work by the staff.THANKS.

Unprofessional, and not really an urgent care facility. No Urgent Care Ive ever heard of turns people away or tells them casually to come back later. What? What kind of place is this?If you want proper help, and professional assistance, go elsewhere - I promise you will save a lot of time and money.This place also seems to be stuck in the year 2020 for some reason. A lot of the positive reviews on here seem suspicious (fake possibly?, because they dont line up with the service this location provides. Either that, or management has changed recently.0/5 - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I had a very good experience, I made an appt the night before, and was seen within a reasonableAmount of time, the next day at the appointed timeThe nurse practitioner was awesome !!! She listen to me about my symptoms and prescribed medication for a sinus infection..Very impressive….

It was great to schedule an appointment that was convenient to my schedule. I was able to walk in at my scheduled time and be seen within a few minutes. It was so quick and easy and all staff were pleasant to interact with.

Really fast and nurse who helped was really nice and informative. Lol hope I never need urgent care again but if I do would definitely come here.

They were prompt and very efficient. I felt like they were knowledgeable about my condition and would recommend Nextcare Urgent Care in Cave Creek to my friends.

*update* 6/21/24 still waiting for a response from Nicole the clinic manager.Had an appointment and when I got there I was told that there wasn’t a room ready and to go wait in my car. 35 min later I get a call that they are finally ready for me to come in. On top of this long wait time I also had the worst FNP. April V. was extremely rude and did NOT need to yell at me like that… so unnecessary and unprofessional!

Appointment was quick and efficient. I have been to this clinic a few times and they are always friendly and helpful, even on a holiday weekend.

I was visiting from MN when I had an ear/jaw problem. I looked for a place to be seen in the early evening and was able to get on the next day. I completed all the paperwork online which made my check in super easy. The nurse and PA were great and able to diagnose my problem and provide a prescription.

I went in today for an ear infection. i got treated so nicely and i was in and our no problem. i 100% recommend them!

Great experience with this Urgent Care center…cut my finger which needed to be looked at called they booked me in but called right back because they had a cancellation and said to head in.Front office very friendly then I checked in with Alexa Garcia Bautista who cleaned the wound gave me a tetanus shot and had me prepped for stitches very timely.April Vanderford, FNP did a great job with 4 stitches and real helpful on what to do after I was finished.

Arrived as they were closing, still helped me with a smile. Staff there were thorough and great.

Me and my daughter went to this urgent care this afternoon. I honestly cant remember what our doctors name was, but she was so amazing! Not only was she able to get my daughter to take a COVID & Strep test without crying. She was so kind and patient with my sick little girl. She even cleaned the wax out of her ears which I normally pay 120 per clean out to her regular doctor.I normally try to avoid going to urgent care simply because I feel as of the doctors are always shaming me for not taking my kids to their regular doctor. While this young woman was the exact opposite, I would even say she was supportive towards my decision as a mother. And knowing what is best for my children. It was SOO refreshing!

I was able to make an appointment right away at the time and date that was convenient for me. All the staff were amazing and knowledgeable. Also, I was taken care of quickly with minimum wait.

I came in with a terrible wracking cough, heavy congestion and lithergy.Test were completed which determined I was negative for Covid and Flu. So just some kind of viral infection I guess. I was given prescriptions for nasal spray and cough. Its been years since Ive been sick with any common ailment. This felt rushed and the diagnosis somewhat vague. Hopefully the pills and spray will cure the issue. I didnt leave feeling confident that they will help me get better. Im new to the area and dont have a regular physician yet which is why I went to an urgent care facility.

We took our 2.5 year old daughter here as she had a fever and persistent cold like symptoms. They took a chest x-ray and MISDIAGNOSED her with double pneumonia and flipped anatomy. They stated we needed to rush to Phoenix Childrens Hospital (which if they appropriately diagnosed her would make sense). We proceeded to take our daughter to PCH for them to retake the x-ray and let us know she had NO signs of pneumonia or flipped anatomy. This resulted in a large hospital bill that we would have not received if Nextcares x-ray technician and doctor would have correctly read her results! Netcare is not being considerate with this matter and are not taking responsibility. I would strongly not recommend this facility or company.

I got bit by something again came here Ashley the PA was fantastic fix me up in 10 minutes the lady up front young lady I should say is always so polite and professional this place is great I love coming here but its getting to be too frequent these damn red ants great place

Friendly thorough staff. They removed my stiches at my appointment time. They still require Covid masks however.

I had a painful earache late on a Friday night and was looking for treatment options. I saw that Urgent Care would open the next morning at 7:00. I eventually made an appointment for 12:00 noon. The process of filling out paperwork online was fine.Upon arriving, I was politely greeted. After 10-15 minutes, I was called back, asked for information about my concern, checked ( b/p, temp, etc.), and then saw the NP. She was upbeat and cheerful as she told me her diagnosis and treatment plan. She had prescriptions sent immediately, and I was quickly on my way.Excellent experience all around. 😀👍

The nurses were very cautious . They all wore masks..And were very polite.through, my experience with this clinic.i will go back again..the nurse practitioner was so polite , very knowledgeable about my injury..and I was totally satisfied with my treatment..I will go back again.. had my follow up this morning. And still everyone who works at this clinic were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. I am so glad we have a next care urgent care in our town.i highly recommend this clinic...

Next Care Urgent Care is an amazing resource just outside the back gate of Terravita on Carefree Hwy! Very efficient and easy intake, excellent PA—Laura Chiccarellio, took time for exam, X-ray, and dialogue with me on meds recommendations. I took flyers for my neighbors and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office open M-F 7am-7pm AND Sat-Sun 8am-3pm!!!!

Was hard getting my husband to doctor. Made appt. In and out in half hour! Cellulitis clearing already today!

One of the best medical experiences we’ve had in a long time. Made an appointment first thing in the morning for my son who we thought may have fractured his foot. We were in and out within 30 minutes… X-rays and all! Thank goodness no fracture! The staff and especially PA Taylor was efficient and friendly. It was so much more convenient that dealing with your pediatrician and then having to go to another location for X-rays. Thank you for your care and service.

My prescription was sent over to pharmacy. Waiting in line at pharmacy took longer than my entire visit to NextCare! I would definitely recommend Dr Barnett and the Cave Creek location.

Easy online booking & check-in process. The facility is very clean & quiet. Appointment on time! They didn’t hesitate to check all symptoms without hesitation & go the extra step further. Have had a lingering cough for several months & they even ordered a Chest X-Ray & ECG on-site with immediate results to rule out anything serious (pneumonia, heart failure etc.). The front desk receptionist was lovely & welcoming. Doctor & Nurse were also kind, knowledgeable & quick. Promptly sent prescription to my preferred pharmacy for collection. Highly recommend. Let’s be honest, nobody wants to go to urgent care. Although it wasn’t a fun visit I was treated with respect and care. FNP April Vanderford explained how to treat my issue and the next steps I needed to take with compassion and intellect. Great overall experience. Clean and quick and friendly. I took my kids and myself for sore throats that turned out to be strep throat. I got to see the nurse practitioner at the same time with my two kids. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean. I booked the appointment online and was in and out in less than 30min.Will definitely go again if I need to, although I hope I don’t!

Such a great place to go and get quick treatment. The staff was friendly, kind, and super efficient. This is the best experience that Ive had in attempting to seek care for a minor issue, rather than waiting a week or more to get into a physicians office. In the future, Ill choose to come here rather than a Minute Clinic, etc. The front desk lady, Melissa, was personable and quick to get me checked in, Lynette was kind when asking about why I was there, and the PA, Tiffany understood what was going on, took a few minutes to answer questions and clarify the treatment. I was in and out in about 20 minutes! You couldnt ask for anything more.

I am so impressed by the care I received. I came in right before they closed after slicing my finger while making dinner. I am so queasy with blood. The staff was so kind to me. They didn’t rush me through, they were gentle and really patient. Taylor (PA) and Lynette (MA) couldn’t have been nicer. The entire process was seamless. The entire staff there that evening (Melissa/Patience) deserve a sincere kudos from their leadership. I’m really glad this facility and these providers are close to my home.

The receptionist was friendly and acknowledged me right away, my information was then taken and blood pressure by a tech,then I saw Taylor Sehorn. She was kind, interested in my reason for coming, made me feel my questions were worth asking, and gave me many helpful suggestions . I was not rushed and my blood pressure was taken again before I left, since the first time,it was elevated . This showed me care and concern and I appreciated that very much.

Quick, reasonable, friendly.! Staff is great! PA is awesome. Pricing is very fair with excellent care. We dropped health insurance due to cost and deductibles. These guys are a great option for self payers.

Made an appointment for my grandson for a fever and possible ear infection. We arrive and we are told there is no provider onsite. Had to go to another urgent care as a walk in now. Don’t assume that making an appointment that you will be seen by a doctor.

We have been to this urgent care several times. The providers are beyond excellent. Most recently I was dealing with a difficult situation with my daughter and Fedelia the provider went above and beyond to help us. She made me feel like a patient and not just another number. We have ALWAYS received great service, quick appointments, and wonderful providers. A gem in our neighborhood.

My little one and I were treated with such kindness and care. It was exactly what we needed when battling a rough ear infection. They saw us both quickly and made the entire experience as smooth and painless as possible. This is the place to get cared for.

I just had a great experience here! I got in super quick and everyone was kind and informative. Anytime I’ve been to urgent care or the ER it seems everyone is in a rush and they don’t really take the time to be personable, but this place is totally different! You can tell they care about people. If I find myself needing urgent care again this will be my first choice.

Scheduling was quick and efficient! Online form completion was simple- just have your Photo ID and Insurance Card ready so that photos can be taken with your phone camera. I liked waiting in my car until they were ready to see me. Exam was just enough tans an RX was sent to my pharmacy! Easy peasy

I arrived without an appointment and was informed it could be a long wait or I could return later. I sat down for 10 minutes and the nurse said they could fit me in. The nurse and nurse practitioner were so friendly and professional. Next Care Urgent Care was a true find and I am so grateful they are here for patients like me!

I strained my back while visiting family in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I decided to see a physician and was a walk-in at the Nexcare on carefree highway in Cave Creek, AZ near my home.My experience was great. All the staff was friendly and efficient from the receptionist to the doctor I saw. The nurse who took my vitals was easy to talk to and very conversational.I will tell all my friends about the experience.Feeling much better with the meds and advice given to me.Thank you.

PA Taylor S. is fantastic. Her bedside manner is what EVERY healthcare provider should model. Taylor takes her time and is genuinely pleasant and supportive to her patients. She is willing to go the extra mile to get to the bottom of what ails you.

Two weeks after testing positive, I finally went here because cough not getting better. 80 year old in good health.They were all wonderful, getting in. Nurse, doctor, xray technician. I felt they really cared and did all they could to diagnose all my problems

My 1 st Urgent care visit I took my son to Urgent care at Brazo hospital in Cave Creek. I was not aware of NextCare until after I received my bill of $200.00 plus I am charged extra for emergency care then I’ll get a physicians bill separately. Then open exiting I was told about next care. She said she is not allowed to tell u as u walk n only after Hey no wait, she told me she could treat him. Brazo is 1st class but expensive. It is nice to have for a real emergency and I am thankful they r close by.Today I took my son for quick physical. My pediatrician is booked.Staff was wonderful. Dr was young and on point! Super sweet!!! Definitely recommend!!!! Be Well!!!

There wasn’t an X-ray tech at this location which is why I wanted to go there to begin with. 2 stars because the PA was knowledgeable & sent me to the ER.

Loved the ease of making the appointment, however, I waited over an hour to be seen and with an appointment, I’d expect to be seen sooner than that. The facility was clean and staff was kind, which was nice I appreciate they had me wait in my car with the symptoms I had. Just wish I could’ve been seen sooner because I was there almost 2 hours which is too long.

Taylor was my doctor I can’t remember the lady that did my vitals name but both of them have taken such good care of me and have done more than most doctors would do to find out what’s going on! I felt like like I was in the best hands possible and was very well taken care of!

I feel fortunate to live near an urgent care like this! Everyone from the front desk to triage to the PA - they were all wonderful and knowledgeable! They care a lot about their patients. They took great care of me and my laceration. Thank you so so much!

I had scheduled my appt for 7:40am and unfortunately was a couple min late (7:43am). I was told to wait in my car after checking in. So I did. After nearly an hour I went in to check on the status of my appt and the front desk receptionist looked caught off guard, then said Id be seen soon. I then get a text saying I was checked in at 8:34am!!!! So she forgot to check me in! Seriously! I made an appt to not have to sit around and wait, but here I am- sick and now frustrated. I was called back a few moments later. The tech met me in room 2 where she asked my reason for coming and checked my vitals. She was so cold, absolutely zero bedside manor. The NP Tiffany was great though. So shes the only reason I gave any stars. BUT I waited over an hour to finally be seen, saw a NP for literally 5 minutes and paid $255.00!!! Nuts.

This Next Care from the front receptionist, intake nurse & the Nurse Practitioner are just Amazing! I will definitely go back as well as recommend it to anyone who is in need of a doctor! Special thanks as I truly love the Nurse Practitioner at this Next Care. She is caring, thorough and personable.

The lady at the front desk should not be working in this field. No-one in waiting room . Online says walk ins welcome. We made an appt for later in the day but decided to stop in and check if there was availability sooner. Spoke to the girl up front to see if we could finish completing our paper work ( insurance card details instead of taking a photo) Her reply Dont you have a phone? Its crazy because Im pretty sure we asked the question????? We left. NO ONE WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM AT ALL!!!!!! NextCare you can do better than this.

Never thought I would be raving about an ER but my experience with NextCare was great. My finger I thought was infected and since it didnt heal ater a month I decided to try NextCare. From the front desk to the FNP who took care of me I was treated with empathy and expertise . Highly recommend this facility..

I definitely recommend this NextCare. I had a 10:00 appointment. I was called back and seen within 10 minutes and on my way to the pharmacy by 10:30. It was a very prompt and professional urgent care experience.

I sliced off the tip of my pinky last weekend and needed an urgent care. I was so glad to have this one near the Cave Creek area which kept me from driving 20+ min away. The providers there (Tiffany and Taylor) patched me right up and were professional and caring. I will definitely be returning to this facility for any treatments I need.Pro tip: schedule an appointment prior to arriving there - you can fill out preliminary health information and get most of the paperwork out of the way.

The staff was very kind, efficient, and easy to work with! I was able to do all of the paperwork ahead of time online and the doctor saw me within 5 minutes of coming in and was great! Very knowledgeable!

Had an early morning appointment at NextCare urgent care and everything went smoothly. Was in and out with a prescription in less than 30 minutes. Definitely recommend.

Everyone was incredibly helpful. From the front desk to the nurse to the Dr, we received great service.I would absolutely recommend them if you need stitches, or even if your leg falls off.

Wait was short and staff was very thorough, professional and cordial. I would gladly use this clinic again, they were fantastic.

This is probably the worst urgent care I have been to. It wasn’t even that busy for an urgent care and I made an appointment in advance. They ended up taking 2 walk-ins before me. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment. Defeats the purpose. I waited for 40 minutes and never got seen. I guess my infection wasn’t serious enough. They had 1 PA and 1 nurse working during the afternoon. Disgrace of a healthcare facility. I would not recommend. Go to a PCP they will see you faster. If you need to see a specialist I would advise seeing a specialist. I would pay extra money to avoid this place.

We have been here 2 times in the last month for my daughter. Minor things such as a virus and double ear infection. They were so friendly, clean, and quick! They got us in and out. It’s the perfect solution on the weekends when the doctor’s office is closed!!

The receptionist was very kind. My physician was Taylor (PA). She was patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this urgent care for medical needs outside of my Dr. offices hours.

This is by far the best urgent care facility I have ever used!! I had an appointment at 12:30pm and I was in the room at 12:35pm. Wonderful care and there is a Frys Pharmacy in the same parking lot. I just walked over with my prescription and I was on my way home.FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very professional snd thorough. The receptionist was courteous . The nurse practitioner Tiffany was professional snd knowledgeable. She took thorough history taking into account my medical issues prior to ordering medications. She was mindful any contraindications of my existing medications. I highly recommend the Nextcsre urgent care in Carefree!

The medical attention and the treatment the practice nurse prescribe was professional and spot on. The only comment here is that if you show up with symptoms, they make you fill-up the forms and wait on your car until you are called in. Not very nice on +100 degrees days.

Went on a Saturday morning for an ear issue. Saw a PA within a few minutes, was prescribed an antibiotic and was home within an hour. Once home, the pharmacy messed up the prescription and the PA called in another one. Great service!

So thankful NextCare was open on New Years Day. We needed stitches and they got us in and out as a walk-in. Easy check in, check out and very friendly staff that made our kiddo feel comfortable.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT TO BE ALLOWED IN THE EXAM ROOM WITH YOUR WIFE/HUSBAND. They only allow the patient do to “policy”. My wife requested me to be in the room with her but they refused to listen to her. She has ptsd do to other visits to the doctor in the past. Terrible reception and was talked down to.
