Yes we are all getting older and no it isn’t a lot of fun when your thumbs and wrists get arthritis. I was wearing wrist and thumb braces and still had a lot of pain. I had no interest in taking drugs to cover symptoms so decided to try acupuncture. One as in just one session with Melissa and I have been totally pain free for over a year now. I came to see Melissa with a autoimmune chronic problem, I needed help so badly because it was so out of control, I took a few visits but we manage to control it with acupuncture and herbs. Melissa helped me also realize the importance of what I put in my body always explaining procedure. I went through a rough time but Melissa gave me hope I would get better, she been such a great impact to me that 6 of my family members including a little one that only takes herbs for the moment comes to see her. If youre anything like me for years youve been saying I always wanted to try acupuncture...I wonder if it works...I dont think I can afford it. Today is the day ....YES, it works... and Bradenton Community Acupuncture works on a sliding scale (for as little as $25 a visit what do you have to lose). Melissa has changed my life! I know that sounds dramatic, but its true. Ive been living with MS for 34 years. I came to Melissa almost 2 years ago with a breathing problem, but I never imagined the multitude of issues (TMI on the issues) that acupuncture would be helping me with today. My only advise, other than schedule your appointment today, is to give it a little time. It may take one visit or it may take several. It probably took time for the issue you have to develope ...why not give it the same time to fix. My only disappointment is that I waited so long to give it try. If you give Melissa 100 percent effort...she will give you the same in return...shes awesome!

I have been going to Melissa for years. I am not always consistent but when I go, I come out feeling like a million bucks. I recently did my breast thermography with her and I felt comfortable and relaxed. I did have something come back that was questionable and of concern and we discussed what to do. She recommended going for an ultrasound. . I am into Natural Health and although I eat pretty healthy, I decided I needed to change some things and see if that would help. I told her I would come back in 3 months for another thermography. 3 months turned into 5 and I returned. Getting rid of the sugar and all things white turned my questionable and of concern into see you next year. Melissa is a great healer :-)

About a year ago I started visiting Melissa at Bradenton Family Wellness Center by advice from a friend. I was having problems with spasms in my shins while walking. Previously i had visited a vascular specialist, a sports medicine clinic, and my regular family physician. All of whom seemed to be baffled by this condition. Melissa suggested we try a few acupuncture sessions in this area and others. I was a little apprehensive and skeptical, but i figured what the heck, what do i have to lose ? Well let me tell you, this procedure not only worked, but was more relaxing and restful than a massage. I was amazed. I have been back a few times, but the spasms in my shins have completely disappeared. Thanks again for opening my eyes to this procedure !
