Midwest Express Clinic

First timer here. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the staff were, the cleanliness of the clinic, and how quickly I was seen. Sadly, you don’t see that level of customer service anymore. But I do want to mention that Anna, the nurse practitioner, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. She prescribed the same medication that my recently retired doctor would have .I know I will be on the mend soon. 🙂 I’ll definitely will be back if I need treatment again.

Went to Midwest for my daughter’s sports physical after leaving a scheduled appointment with Physicians Care for the same purpose. I had no appointment with Midwest and was able to walk right in, the receptionist (Ashley) was very nice and welcoming, she made the process easy. Also, I saved money in addition to time! Because my family’s doctor office isn’t local, I went to Physicians Care for convenience, paid $60 and waited more than an hour just for my daughter to never be seen; I left after waiting because there were still 3 patients in front of us. Midwest is the way to go and I only paid $30 for the same service!

First time here and I’m very pleased with my visit!! The whole process was smooth and easy! When I arrived I was greeted by a great, friendly and helpful young lady. The office is very clean! Staff is amazing and so friendly!! My nurse and doctor were just as amazing!! They had me in and out in no time. To have such an amazing staff makes a world of difference! They were able to get my results back for a test within a few short minutes, the doctor came in within 5 minutes or so. Unlike a regular doctor office you’re sitting there waiting forever, but not at Midwest express clinic. I barely waited which was so amazing! Thank you again! And again what a wonderful staff at this location! Highly recommend if you need to see a Dr in short notice.

I’ve been to Midwest Express Clinic many times before in a different state, loved the work there, love it here. The staff at this location was beyond kind, understanding and patient. I went in with a few issues, and the NP Carolyn was incredibly kind and understanding. The med Techs were so kind and easy to speak with. I had to get a shot and of course, was told it would sting. When you aren’t feeling good, any further discomfort makes you want to run. The med tech let me have my freak out and moved quickly, even sterilizing the spot twice since I had stepped away. We actually had an appointment at a different clinic that cancelled 20 minutes before my appointment! We were in and out of the clinic in less than an hour as a walk in after 6 pm. Amazing service, kind people, very very clean facility. Would recommend for any urgent care emergencies.

I’ve been going to Midwest Clinic since 2020. All the staff has always been great to me. They are understanding when you’re on a time crunch, I usually call in before I head there and they will let me know if there’s a wait or if I can just walk in. They alway do a good job with my kids and they have very cute little to go items for the kids. They also have never had issues with any of my papers or faxing. They are my go to place when I have sick kids, need a b12shot, or need a physical or eye exam. They also did a wonderful job with x-rays for one of my children. Very appreciative of this place.

While different providers always provide a different experience, this time I was thankful to see a familiar face who remembered my unique health condition. I was treated appropriately, with kindness, and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes.

I really recommend this place out of the few options available in this area. I’ve never had any issue here, and everyone is so welcoming. The service is swift and efficient. I hate going to the doctor, etc. and these ladies make it bearable. Thank you.

I was so sick, never been this sick before and wont elaborate why. MY coworkers-- all of them that day were rock stars. Stephanie made me feel so comfortable and quickly had my symptoms under control. This MEC clinic by far is the best Clinic with an amazing staff. They work so hard and it shows. Went in yesterday having ear pain and filled out the paperwork as it was the first time I’ve been there. Place was clean and organized and staff was very nice. It took a little while before getting to see a doctor but once I did she also was very nice and helpful telling me exactly what was going on. Really liked the place and people there and would recommend it to anyone who would need medical help for whatever medical issue they have that isn’t serious enough for a hospital.

This place has not been my go to until recently. Since my regular doctor has cut way back on his hours and only works 1 night a week, I had to start coming here. I saw a nurse practitioner who was thorough and actually listened. She asked questions and did what youd expect. She was professional and courteous. Let me know the prices of the tests Id need done BEFORE they were done so there were no surprises. This place is close to my house and open when I needed it. I may never go back to my regular doctors office again. I had been to another urgent care in Southern Illinois and was concerned about the treatment I had received so I came here for clarification and tests that were 600 at the one in Southern Illinois. Here, they were affordable and a fraction of the price the other place wanted to charge. I felt at ease after seeing this nurse practitioner and will return if I need to be seen.

Midwest express has been a staple in my family for YEARS. I prefer them to our primary doctors for everything, especially their care. Doctors and staff are always super friendly, take time, answer all of our questions and concerns, then send us on our happy way.

Happy atmosphere. Pleasant receptionist. Had to wait because there was an emergency type situation with another patient. Everyone was apologetic which was not necessary. Very great experience

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the absolute quality care I received from yourImmediate Care Center on Sunday August 18th. The whole staff was kind and patient. I had come in with a huge amount of bug bites and had come for medical attention 2 weeks after the incident.By the time I did go to your Care center I was going bonkers because of the tremendous itching, which was thouht to be jiggers. Im older, and sometimes elderly people are treated with less value. This was certainly not the case. Thank you very Doctor and staff.Sincerely Deborah S.

I was late for the time I signed up for. The clinic was very busy when I got there but staff were very welcoming and kind. Dr. Very nice and understanding. Will definitely be back.

First time patient here at the Bourbonnaiis Illinois location. Had to come in for an ear cleaning and got there no long waiting. The ladies were all extremely sweet and made you welcomed. Thanks to the lovely and kind nurse and doctor that took real great care of me. I was comfortable and the team did an awesome job with getting me checked out and better! This is my go-to Doctor office, they accept my insurance and quickly get you in. They treat me with kindness, concern and respect. I love it here! Highly recommend.

Midwest Express Clinic has been there for our kids for everything from ear infections to a broken arm. Every time we have gone, we have been in and out quickly and the care has been exceptional. We are grateful for this clinic!

Each time I have gone in here, for myself and my children, not only were they quick but they were absolutely kind to us from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. They have been completely understanding and they listened intently. Made us feel like family. Absolutely recommend.

Once again, a wonderful visit! I wish I could make them my primary Drs! Always so sweet and helpful! I always brag about my visits at their facility! I definitely recommend them!!

I’ve have used Midwest Express clinics for years and I love them. The Bourbonnais IL clinic is the epitome of professionalism, the staff and providers listen to your symptoms and have always provided excellent resolution along with follow-up phone calls. The best part is they provide patient education!! I am thankful for their services.

I got in and out super quick which was awesome.. the doctor.. just loved her.. very friendly.. patient andsuper nice!!! Only thing I would say is the receptionist could smile a little.. other then that my experience was hands down a 10!!!

I was about 4th in line. I was in in about 15 minutes, the nurse was very nice, took care of me quickly, got me to the NP, she was also very nice and helpful. Then they got me out of there quickly. All around a great experience when I was not feeling well.

Stefanie was absolutely amazing and very thorough! My son normally hates doctors offices and being examined, but he sat so well for her.

I live an hour north but was in Kankakee for my grandsons high school baseball game. I got to the clinic at 7:15pm. Receptionist was friendly and very qelcoming. Check in quick, took insurance info and was taken back within 10 minutes. The tech/ assistant was pleasant and thorough taking all medical history. The PA ( Im assuming) had great bedside manner and addressed the issue and prescribed medication. I think overall I was in and out within a half an hour!! Great staff!

I dont live in this state. Came in with a bad case of ivy. I had been to a different quick care in a different state 4 days previous with no help.My service at Midwest Bournonbais was fast. Every employee was polite and informative. The Dr. Was truly concerned and addressed my rash well.I will refer people to this location .Esther E

This place is the best, my son loves it here. He gets excited about going anytime we have to come in. Everyone we come into contact with, from reception to the nurse practitioners, are just so sweet, and they always make the appointment quick and efficient.

Midwest Express clinic helped me out in a situation of My Doctors. The staff was excellent and friendly listening. My insurance if County Care us not excepted in Kankakee county at most places but they do. I needed my thyroid meds changed.and they helped me so much above and beyond. Go there is u have the same issue with insurance....

Very nice, competent and calm staff. Every area clean and neat. The doctor I saw was approachable and welcoming and made sure all questions were answered. She took her time. Would recommend and will revisit if need arises. Felt I was in good hands.

In my chart here it states what antibiotics I’m allergic to and the dr proceeded to give me 3 antibiotics I was allergic to after I told her, and after I called and asked for a new one. After 3 calls and switched and them not listening to me they tried to make me come back for another appointment instead of giving me something I was t allergic to. Went to my actual dr and I have a serve kidney infection now. Thanks

They got me right in and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and professional. The Dr.was awesome. She really acted like she cared and listened to me. I will be using this place more often. Thank you for such a wonderful experience there.

I went here because I was sick and my Dr’s office was closed. The entire staff at Midwest Express Clinic was very friendly and attentive. Best bedside manners from anywhere I’ve been. I will definitely make this my go to for any future visits.

Staff is very attentive when we arrive and the PA’s that are seeing patients get us in & out without a long wait.

I absolutely love this location. The ladies at the front desk are kind and personable. The triage nurses crack jokes and actually care about you. The doctors are quick, and knowledgeable! We never spend more than 30-45 minutes total in the place. 100% recommend this location to anyone, adults or kids, for any type of issue.

My 5yr old daughter needed stitches last night. Other immediate cares turned us away saying they couldn’t do it on a small child. Not Midwest! Carolyn the NP was the best! She did an excellent job at providing service and helping my baby. 3 stitches and in and out. I will always recommend Midwest! Thank you so much!!

Front staff could use some training on kindness and HIPAA but other than that the nurses, Dr and support staff in the back were amazing.

Everyone is really kind and understanding. They get you in and out pretty quickly and do what they can to help you. Im a hard judge when it comes to the medical field but they exceeded my expectations and Ill definitely be going back whenever Im sick or need a doctor!

I was visiting from out of state. I became ill and needed to seek medical treatment. Midwest was suggested by my daughter. I called, got the information I needed. Went to the clinic around lunch time. I waited for a short time. I wore a mask that they had available. It took a short time to be seen. I feel I was diagnosed accurately and agreed with the treatment. There was no hassle about payment. They submitted the bill to insurance.

Very fast service, everyone was very nice. I was called in to be seen before I filled out the 3 pages of paperwork. Excellent for a Friday afternoon.

Andrea was absolutely awesome. I was a little scared about getting my Nexplanon removed and the following days after getting off hormones and she even wrote me up a little plan how to get me back on track!!

I was having stomach issues for 6+ years going to Dr.’s and specialist with no answers,I consulted with the nurse here and she immediately got my a blood test and I was diagnosed with 5 days. Staff are very caring & it shows.

Went to the minute clinic yesterday in front of Walmart. Only waited about 10 minutes. The doctor/nurse practitioner, Anna. Was wonderful very friendly, very thorough. My overall experience was excellent

Hands down, best urgent care.Every single provider we’ve seen has genuinely listened to our concerns, been incredibly kind and patient with my young boys (4 & 1), and has taken the time to discuss treatment plans.We’ve never had to wait too long if we check in online.We will always choose Midwest when we can’t get see to see our pediatrician.

The clinic staff were very caring and efficient. I made online appointments for myself and 2 of my kids. The Nurse Practitioner was thorough and explained things well.

I was able to be seen in a timely manner for a cold. The nurse practitioner Carolyn was amazing, however Brittany at the front desk didn’t send my medications to my pharmacy. I would’ve been waiting unless I did not call back a few hours later and speak to a supervisor. Glad it wasn’t a real emergency!

Online check in was quick and easy. They got me in to see a dr quickly as well. Time i walked in the doors till i walled out was just over 30 mins.

Staff was extremely nice. The building was clean. The NP that saw me was so outgoing and caring. It was a great experience.

I had a great experience from the time I walked in, until i walked out. I did not catch the name of the assistant that helped me, but she was just so wonderful. She called me by name, listened asked questions and really just made me feel like a person and not just a number. The doc was great, and the front staff was warm and welcoming as always. I love coming here, the staff is always so nice. They are very efficient at getting you seen quickly, properly diagnosing whatever issue you are having, and they get you back out of the door as soon as possible. I have never had obnoxiously long wait times at this clinic which is a HUGE deal to me, they value their patients time and that is uncommon nowadays!

Everyone is so friendly! Weve been in numerous times with our two toddlers. The great service has been consistent every time. Our son has terrible anxiety about going to the doctor, but they always have him smiling before we leave.

I was the first patient of the day! In and out quickly. The medicine prescribed worked quickly. I feel so much better already. Thank you!

Midwest was amazing! I did a walk in also was my first time there and it was quite busy so I expected a long wait and a ton of paperwork. I was in and out within 45 minutes and hardly any paperwork to fill out! Got exactly what I needed and the Dr was very polite and listened to me. I will be back and recommend to everyone!

I needed a physical for work and was able to walk in and get it completed fairly quickly. The staff was very patient and polite.

Great clinic,clean, friendly and front desk was very informative dealing with a complication with payment and insurance and went above and beyond last night and the triage was caring and helpful double checking her work and the Dr made me feel relaxed and actually was caring. My experience was perfect from start to finish. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Triage nurse was very helpful, pleasant and efficient. Doctor/PA was knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient.10/10.And this was after being turned away at another urgent care down the road bc they weren’t accepting walk ins or appointments that day.

The team was kind and caring. Unfortunately I needed more medical monitoring than they could do at the clinic so was sent to the ER. I appreciated the awareness of the limitations the medical professionals had. They made the best call to send me to the er where I could be treated more extensively. Thank you MEC staff.

I usually go to Physicians immediate care and they had an over hour wait so I went to Midwest instead. I waited for about 5 minutes and was called back. I was in and out for about 30 minutes. Will definitely go back again.Update on different visit: I was in and out in 20 minutes and they gave me exactly what I needed. They listened to my concerns. They were all super friendly too.

I was pretty miserable when I arrived. The nurses and nurse practitioner who cared for me were awesome. Very professional. Promptly treated me and I was on my way. This is how you’re suppose to be treated when you’re sick. Best medical treatment I’ve ever had. Definitely will use them again in the future .

Recently took my daughter here, to get look at, and right when walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed, then I had fill out paperwork and we were done, that’s all, we were called back by a nurse, and we saw the doctor. Everyone was polite and nice! Thanks for making our time great!

I had the flu and the staff did an unbelievable job putting IV fluids and electrolytes back into my system. Within 90 minutes I felt better.

Have been here several times over the years. They are always professional and friendly. This last visit, I did wait for a while but there is a lot of sickness going around. They get you in and out as quickly as possible. Our society needs to learn patience and manners.

The nurses are so sweet and calming and the atmosphere is calming and they prescribed a few options, ill try them today, and the wait wasnt too long ^^

I went into Midwest Express Clinic located in Bourbonnais Illinois on Friday December 15th. This was my first time ever going to an urgent care facility. I wasnt quite sure what to expect but it was great! I was greeted professionally by the front staff and the waiting area was very comfortable. I only waited about 10 minutes before I was called to the back. The medical staff was top notch! They listened to my concerns and didnt rush me out. Overall it was a wonderful experience, seeing that I was very sick when I arrived. They showed genuine care and concern. Highly recommend this office!

My experience was excellent. I registered online and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Very thankful that I was able to schedule a visit on a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was just what I needed when I wasn’t feeling my best.

Have visited this clinic at least a half dozen times for my two kids. Everyone who works there have been extremely pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone.Update: Visited here on New Years Eve. It was extremely busy. Everyone was extremely nice and patient. The absolute most awesome place when you need immediate care. Everyone is beyond friendly. I have been there three times in the last 18 months and have been in and out within an hour. I was lucky enough to have seen Anita Farley all three visits. She is so friendly and very empathetic. I would recommend this to anyone needing immediate care!!!

I have went to a different urgent care twice. I knew I had a sinus infection and upper respiratory infection. All I wanted is someone to listen and give me antibiotics........and thats what Midwest Express did!Now that Im on the antibiotics (day 2) I am already feeling better. The doctor was great.....he listen to how I was feeling. Just hearing him say Im going to put you on an antibiotic was a sigh of relief!

First time at this office and we loved it. They were all so very nice and so professional! Short wait time and we had just walked in since the other immediate care that we had made an appointment with that day turned us away once we got there due to no physician being available. So we were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely make this our new go to immediate care office! The doctor my daughter saw was so nice and extremely helpful! Thank you so much!!

Had a great experience with the front desk receptionist, the nurse, and the provider I saw. My wait was really short and the waiting room and exam room were nice and clean. I feel like my issues were addressed and I left feeling like I had answers and a solution. Overall a great experience!

I was so impressed with my visit today. The office was very clean, organized and well put together. My wait time was under 10 minutes and I was in and out. The Dr was very knowledgeable and LISTENED to what I had to say. Not something you get that often. The overall experience I was completely satisfied and will definitely come back if the need arises.

My wife and I live in Germany and therefore dont have a primary care here. Due to issues, we needed to get some help. We decided to go here based on the reviews on Google and I can tell you it did not disappoint. The staff was extremely caring and helpful. They did not in any way dismiss what we were going through. Highly recommend this Urgent Care for all of your needs.

Very friendly staff. The wait is usually short. I was in yesterday with my young son and the nurse practitioner was so sweet with him. Very good at making him comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend Midwest over any other immediate care.

I was in a car accident and feeling it! I went to see the Dr. At Midwest. They got me in right away, and the Doc there was fantastic. Took excellent care of me. Gave me plenty of information about what I should expect over the next couple of days. Made sure to have me come back if my pain level increases or I feel more and different discomforts. I felt cared about and will be going back. Thank you Doc!

Each person that I encountered during my visit was professional and friendly. The front desk especially handles a variety of issues. Today I can’t express how impressed I was at how the front desk handled an impossible customer. She remained calm and kind and was still able to balance waiting on others as well. Excellent job! It was nice to be in that type of atmosphere especially when you are not feeling well.

The people I interacted with at the clinic were so sweet and sympathetic to my situation. I saw the nurse practitioner and she determined I had a scratched cornea. She talked me through the everything she was doing to my eye and it was super helpful and empathetic.

Been in a few different times for myself, my son and husband. Every time have been seen by Mrs. Molly! Hands down the best! Molly takes her time and listens and gives us professional feedback. Friendly and short wait times even while busy. Good experience every time.

Very pleasant ladies that check u in. I was in and out which I liked! I like how they listened to me and why I was there and prescribed me antibiotics. Very nice and clean place. I will definitely go there from now on.

They have good services but they really need more staff. Train your staff when not on busy times, maybe more of a private check in. It kind of is a poor check-in process, all info is given in front of everyone. I know thats hard to avoid but could be better. Clean facility and nicely decorated.

Bringing in my very sick 3 year old who is scared of Drs is hard. The nurse we had and the Dr we had were so wonderful and helpful. They helped calm her and if they couldnt get her to do what she needed they found a different way to get what they needed. And not only did the Dr care for my daughter but she cared about the health of my newborn at home.

Everyone there was friendly and professional. I didn’t have insurance so they did everything in their power to keep my bill to the bare minimum. From issuing generic prescriptions to foregoing non-essential testing. I highly recommend going there before anywhere else. Feel better quickly!

Very convenient to pre register on line. Once I arrived checkin was quick. Wait time was less than 10 mins. Everyone I encountered was amazing, very professional and friendly. As I was leaving the lady at the front desk made sure I had my follow up scheduled and Checked to see if I had any other questions before leaving. I Will definitely refer you to family and friends!!! Thank you for a great experience.

Carolyn is amazing! I do not remember the lady who did all of my childrens swabs for test, but she was awesome! You can tell she enjoyed her job. My kiddos didnt feel anything, she made them smile and laugh the whole time. Pediatricians should really take note on how this place runs! They listen to the parents, shows concern and care for children, they are gentle and their bedside manner is the best I have seen in 14 years! It looks busy, but you get in the back fast and out fast all while still feeling like everything was heard and treated! Carolyn thank you for all of your help, kind words and the care for my kiddos! You rock! The staff rocks! They have a very nice, clean and fun environment. A cute little play area for little ones and a TV. I am happy I found out about this place. I visited this urgent care while staying out of town in an unfamiliar place. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and polite. I walked into a full waiting room of people that were very ill. It appears as though there were only two people running the front office however they were calm cool and collected under pressure. The doctor was very caring, knowledgeable and listen to my concerns. The staff worked very hard with the issues I had concerning medication‘s getting filled. And working with the local pharmacies so that I could get what I needed to start feeling better. I couldn’t be any more happy with my experience at this urgent care facility. Way to provide quality customer care!

Everyone was so kind and took great care of me. I went in because I thought I had a broken foot, I was checked over thoroughly and given X-rays. I didn’t wait more than 20 minutes. Fast and friendly. I HAVE NOW MORE THEN ONCE TRIED TO GET DOUBLE BILLED EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR THE SO CALLED VISIT ONCE IN CASH SECOND BY CARD. THEY REFUSED TO SEE MY DAUGHTER WHEN I CALLED THEM OUT ON IT AND THEN GOT EMAIL CLAIMING WILL BE CHARGING MY CARD ON FILE WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION FOR A BILL I ALREADY PAID WILL NEVER BE COMING HERE AGAIN.

I really love coming to this location everyone is nice and very helpful. Also Dr. Andrea R.is so nice and really cares about her patients she takes her time to explain everything. I would definitely recommend her. I give her a 💯percent!!

I was getting by a friendly receptionist who listened. And then I didn’t have to wait that long but it wasn’t very busy. I did check in earlier that day and went after 6:30pm on a Thursday.The staff was helpful and listened yo what my side was. I was met with the doctor not that long after intake and testing. And she listened to what I was going through and had good treatment options.I am glad that I was able to get a follow up as well being as it is a urgent care. And I could get an convenient evening time.The offices were nice and organized and clean. The wait room was also spacious.Update: I went in December at a busy time and was seen almost right away with online check in. When I seen the doctor about treatment she was very friendly-no judgement. Did a quick exam and asked if I had any questions. The staff there (nurses and reception) are very friendly as well!

This was my first time at Midwest Express Clinic. I used the check in option online. We were seen within 15 minutes of our check in time. The front desk receptionists were helpful & kind. The doctor was quick but informative & thorough. They gave my son a throat & nose culture & we had the results within 15 minutes. Overall, we had an extremely positive experience at Midwest Express. I would recommend Midwest Express to others & will utilize their services again in the future :)

Before this week, I had only been to this clinic once. I saw Charlene and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor! This week, I saw Sean and he was just as wonderful! He was patient and had amazing bed side manner. He explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable and heard. I hope not to have to go back soon, but if I do, I will have a hard time choosing between Charlene and Sean!

I was here from out of town and had to take my baby here twice. Each time, the receptionist and doctors were amazing! My baby even enjoyed his visits despite being sick :). Don’t hesitate to come here if you need to be seen quickly! Wonderful place.

I had to bring my son in for pink eye on Mother’s Day. Not only did they treat like phenomenally (with giving him special goodies!) but they also had a rose for the mothers. Highly recommend! Very kind staff from receptionist to nurse to doctor! The whole process was efficient as well!

My 14 year old son was fishing with friends and ended up getting a fishing lure stuck in his shoulder. Crazy, but apparently this happens. The clinic was able to get him in quickly. Once in the room, Sean came in to check on my son and get the lure out. He reassured him that he was going to take care of him. Unfortunately, the lure was stuck in pretty deep but Sean took his time gave my son some numbing meds while consistently asking him how he was doing. You could tell Sean genuinely cared about my son and his comfort. I was thankful that he didn’t need stitches and we were able to get in and out pretty quickly. On top of that, we received a follow up call today from Sean asking how my son was feeling. Great staff and wonderful service!!

I visited Midwest express clinic this past Sunday. The entire staff are very friendly. I explained my symptoms and they knew the right questions to ask, to provide the best diagnosis. It is wonderful to have medical professionals treat me like they care and want to help me recover from my health issues.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. Interacting as if we’d known each other for years hands down my best experience. They provided me information step by step throughout my my whole process laughs and smiles were constant some I wasn’t use to but it made my visit!!

My visit on Sunday was a pleasant experience despite the way I felt physically. The staff were all extremely helpful, made me feel welcomed and best of all listened to me about my concerns. I highly recommend Midwest Express for your health care needs.

Charged me 80 dollars to pour near freezing water into my ears, then correct it by pouring scalding hot water. Then the lady whatever she was gave up and left me with still clogged ears. Ended up buying the device they use for ear cleanings for 20 bucks and have been doing it myself ever since. If I could give less stars I would. Basically paid them to hurt me and not even do anything paticularly positive but teach me that not all medical facilities are competent enough to handle even the most simple of procedures.

Had to see another doctor about the abscess which the doctor didnt want to touch. Just prescribed an antibiotic. Office would not call me back after calling them twice about it. These people almost put me in the hospital for their neglect. Cant believe this place has a 4.9 rating.

I had actually been here twice recently. Once for my elderly mother. and once for myself. Both times the staff were professional, the waits were short and the care was appreciated and genuine. We were both able to get the medication we needed at an affordable price and they were able to answer our questions. Word of advice, make sure to fill out their online appointments ahead of time if you want to get checked in quicker. It will save you from doing paperwork there when you arent feeling well.

The whole staff is so good with our two littles. When we can’t get into our regular pediatrician, we trust the staff here to take good care of our kiddos. They are so good with them every time we come.

We came here for school physicals since they are nearly half the price then by where we live. Upon walking into a full lobby I was concerned it was going to be a LONG wait and was barely that. I pre-registered the kids over the weekend so our wait time was minimal. Turns out one of the kids wasn’t registered so they had me fill out a few forms and she was able to piggy back on her sisters appointment and within a half hour of being called in we were done. The front end staff handled everything with grace and poise and professionalism. If it were me, I would be so overwhelmed with the full waiting room, people coming and going and phones ringing but she handled it all so well. The PA who did the physicals was super friendly and helpful. My girls both felt comfortable and we appreciate her being thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend Midwest Express Clinic. We are hoping they open one up near Frankfort, IL. Having good care in our own backyard would be awesome!!

I was able to check-in online before I left home. I arrived, gave my name, and was called to a room in less than 5 minutes. I was seen quickly. Not just sitting in a room for over 20 minutes. I was listened to and throughly examined. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I will return.

I was surprised at how this small clinic can handle a busy day with a full lobby. Very helpful, professional, and friendly. On arrival a patient was being transferred by ambulance and everything managed to be handled at the front desk with no anxiety. I would rather come here than at the ER!

I went to my own primary care provider Shanna Beckman, she sent me away to go home to rest and said that it was nothing they can do for me because they dont treat my illness. I knew something wasnt right still so I went to Immediate care/Midwest Express Clinic had an amazing doctor he is always great. I was told that my situation was serious and critical and he called me an ambulance from there straight to the ER of my choice. He also made sure that I got a note for work because something you cant get them from the ER. I highly recommend Midwest Express Clinic to anyone. I have been to other Immediate care centers and this one is actually the best.

Previously, I would’ve rated them higher but after the experience I just encountered, I will not recommend them. I was not prescribed enough medication (only given 120mL for a full week) and I needed 140mL. I called to inform them and they told me “I over took the medicine and needed to pay to be seen again” after the doctor can’t even do basic math. This doctor was Jenkins. The lady at the front who was ignorant on the phone when I told her I’m not paying again for their mistake, is named Ashley. They only care about $ and seeing you for not even 2 minutes.

I like being able to schedule on line. My wait was minimal when I arrived. Everyone very professional and caring. Meds were called in in a timely manner.

I have been to Midwest Urgent care 3 times and each time they help with each illness. They listen to you and help you with your illness and I like they follow up as well. Front desk is so friendly. Actually all staff are tremendously helpful and friendly.

Midwest has a relaxing and no pressure type of atmosphere. I love that because I hate pressure. They also care about you. They just don’t sign documents just to get you out of there. They run tests and the nurses are fun and cool. Then, if they feel that isn’t enough they will refer someone who can get the job done. Love this place!!

I had 3 of my kids seen and tested for Covid and to get Dr notes to return to daycare. Later received a bill for myself for that same day and I was never seen. This place is fraudulent!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I waited around an hour in the lobby for them to turn me and my three year old baby away who had a head injury because they didn’t know how to type her insurance information correctly into their computer. Then when I called over the phone to try one more time with the insurance, they kept me on hold for 15 minutes. I finally hung up, called Riverside Immediate Care and they promptly connected me to a nurse practitioner who evaluated my daughter over the phone and cleared her. As we were waiting in the lobby, the doctor walked out to get water and saw my daughter and started chatting with her. My daughter told her “I bumped my head” and the doctor said “oh I see that.” I turned to the doctor and said “that’s actually why we’re here today” and she looked me directly in my eye, brazenly ignored me, turned around and walked away.I even asked the staff to put me down as self pay and I’d get on a payment plan and they said I’d have to pay it all in full $120 up front if I wanted to get her seen…. $120 for the doctor who’s too good to acknowledge when another human being is talking to her to ask a few questions that took the nurse practitioner 2 minutes to ask??? $120 for them to tell me she’s fine?? It’s obvious they did not care at all about the well-being of a three year old child and only cared about the money they could get from billing her insurance. I’ve gone there for myself before and they’ve treated me like just a dollar sign as well but this comment has already become very long so I’ll spare the details of those stories. I will definitely be going to riverside immediate care from now on.

Wait time was excellent. Ms. Farley just put me at ease. The visit was an excellent alternative to waiting until Monday because the doctors office was closed.

There are a lot of sick people right now and it was BUSY when I was there but the receptionist stayed calm, collected, and polite. The nurse and doctor that treated me were also refreshingly nice. After having multiple bad experiences at other urgent care clinics with rude staff, Ill be coming back to this one for sure!

This place is amazing for the weekend sickness!! I usually only like to take my kiddos to their doctor but when strep throat or ear infections happen on the weekends this is a great place!!! All the staff are very pleasant and easy to communicate with it! All the NPs that we have in counter have been amazing, they really take their time and do a thorough exam!!

My visit with the NP Anita was great! Got in and out with excellent care and conversation. However I do not agree with the companies new policy of retaining your credit card information on file. They have over billed me in the past. It took months to get them to remove the charges.

We prefer coming here over our pediatrician at this point. Not only because we can get in around our work, school, and activity schedules but also because the bedside manner is always excellent, staff are always thorough and takes time to answer questions and explain things and best of all we are always in and out instead of simple tests and sick visits taking hours at our pediatricians office. Reports are always sent to our primary care incase follow up visits are necessary. All around we always have a great experience for over 2yrs now.

I was taken care of well. They were very busy but the wait times weren’t inordinate They did the screenings I needed. My only down side was that they couldn’t prescribe the Paxlovid so I had to call my primary care physicisns’s office to do that

This is the best urgent care in my area.They are caring kind and professional.I have been a nurse for 30 years and they definitely know what theyre doing.Update: I Had to return recently because I had a serious case of covid. I had been sick for 4 days and they were very kind and reassuring. They were very professional and did a chest X-ray which alayed my fears of pneumonia. I have been a nurse for 30 years. And this is been the best primary care I have ever received.

Midwest Express is wonderful! I set up my time online and filled everything out online so it was done when I arrived. They were packed but the receptionist was still so friendly and upbeat and I was seen in a timely manner. My son needed an immediate sports physical; I called Midwest Express. They were ready an available for a day of walk in appointments AND on a SATURDAY too. The team was quick and professional, the appointment was 45min to 1 hour. Waiting room was not full. Overall great place to go if you need a doctor

I brought my twin boys in because I was unable to get in with my pediatrician. From start to finish I was impressed. Iv always dreaded going in to ‘immediate’ care facilities just because the waits are so long but from check in to scheduling a follow up visit, I was there for maybe 45 minutes with two kids! They took great care of my boys and were very knowledgeable. Thank you all for such a great experience!

I moved to Bourbonnais 2 1/2 yrs. Ago & did not have a primary care Dr. so I tried Midwest. The literally do everything & with so much care & real concern. I feel safe & confident that whatever I have going on they will help me. The have always gone above & beyond. No matter how busy they get at the front desk the girls treat u with patience & kindness. I recently was there & saw Charlene, I was very nervous about a problem I’m having. She took they time to find out everything going on with me. She handled my procedure & explained what was happening to me. That is more than my OB/GYN did. I will continue to go there for all my primary care needs. I wish I remembered some of the other nurses & PAs names bcuz they were all great!!
