I literally just woke up from the best nap. The team was absolutely incredible, kind, answered all questions, efficient and professional! I would come back here in a heart beat for an egg retrieval! It was the most relaxing and easy experience. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses here

Had the most amazing experience doing IVF here. Ive been to a few other local IVF clinics (as an egg donor) but when my husband and I realized we needed to do IVF to start our family I knew Brigham was where I wanted to go. I have been lucky enough to work with a few different doctors here (I needed surgery prior to starting IVF). Every Doctor has been amazing, compassionate, and thorough with explaining every step of the way. The primary Doctor I worked with was Dr. Hornstein, who I cannot say enough good things about. I delivered at a different hospital closer to home and Dr Hornstein even checked in afterwards to ensure everything was going good with baby. We are set to do another transfer in Jan for baby #2!

I really have enjoyed my experience at the Brigham and can only speak highly of the doctors, nurses and staff here. I have a healthy daughter born 2021 and now going through the process again. It isnt upscale or anything fancy. Its a hospital setting. If youre looking for that I would probably look at some of the local clinics. For me, I just wanted all my care to be here at the Brigham. From IVF to OB to delivery. I also live right in the city so this was very convenient option for me when I needed to take many trips back and forth for blood tests and ultrasounds.

Terrible ivf clinic. They dont check uterine lining before a transfer, which is unheard of. Even when I requested it be done. They told me they just don’t see a need. All science points to there’s a need, which is why clinics do it. They screwed up a perfect embryo transfer and I havent been able to produce another one of that quality in three years. Devastated I gave this place a try and completely regret it.

Dr Hornstein and Dr Walsh are incredible. Love this practice! They helped diagnose me of my endometriosis.

I had three appointments here over 11 months. I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery years ago. My pain and symptoms returned and it was suggested I seedk medical help here. I left my appointment in tears. The first two were rushed, impersonal and dismissive. Communication is impossible. No questions are answered unless you make an appointment, even questions about medication prescribed. When you do get staff on the phone it is unpleasant at best. This is a womens health care facility. I shouldnt feel like this while accessing care. This was an awful experience. I am in a great deal of pain and feel disheartened and dismissed. The medication prescribed to me is one I cannot take and had very bad reactions to previously. The doctor and I did discuss this previously. He prescribed it anyway, like my first two appointments never happened. My former OBGYN left practice and I only came here because he is gone. I regret it deeply. Do not come here for endometriosis treatment.

Worst experience ever! IVF is already an emotional rollercoaster, Nevermind adding in lack of communication and having no clue of the “nexts steps”. Doc never discussed step by step course of action plan including pros and cons, never discussed signs or symptoms I would possibly expect from taking meds, my negative Hcg came through the portal then hours later got the call from the nurse. We had NO course of action In place for round two, I was left wondering what’s next. Finally got approved for a second transfer but the nurse said she’s the only one in the office and won’t be able to get to me until next week to start the process of #2. I’m sorry we are on a time frame and a schedule, not to mention taking a pill now which is running low, and we still need to order meds for round 2! All of this takes time! If you don’t have time to contact patients, then you have no business accepting “new patients”! Finally, at the first transfer, the doc and nurse spoke so highly about the embryo and that we have a 50/50 chance, great! We’re excited! After it failed my actual doc informed us, bec of our age we will never have a 50/50 chance! All around poor management!! It’s so frustrating & upsetting! We will be transferring!

Im sad but a little relieved to see that I am not the only patient who fled this place in horror. I went through one round of IVF and thought I was losing my mind until I switched to a different clinic and realized that the experience did not have to be dehumanizing, frightening, and wrought with conflict. If you are considering care here, please do yourself a favor and explore other options. It really does not have to be this way.

The best word to describe our experience with this clinic is traumatic. Infertility is already tough, but this practice will also make sure you go through an absolute nightmare.- They are dangerously disorganized and chaotic. No one has been capable of handling records or insurance effectively. Out of a dozen of situations, not one was handled correctly or without constant calling/messaging to ensure it was done. I’ve lost count of the number of times they “lost” something. Its shocking they get anything done with the number of mistakes their staff makes.- Poor communication and no explanation of procedures. If you’re new to fertility treatment, you’re more likely to know what’s going on from Dr. Google than to get a clear explanation of what’s happening.- They have no sense of patient care. Forget bedside manner or human dignity. You’ll be treated like a broken womb and nothing else. There is one doctor we’ve been working with who has been very personable and seems supportive. However, you’re also working with so many other different doctors, staff, nurses, and insurance managers in this clinic who all seem so overwhelmed and understaffed. There are some who recognize the sensitive nature of this field, and others who are straight up rude and un-kind. This practice is in desperate need of an overhaul with training and better support management. The difference between this practice and others in the area is night and day. To anyone in need of Fertility care, either go somewhere else or prepare yourself for the worst experience with a medical practice in your entire life.

I came here in 2017 for treatment. I was not educated about the procedure or how to monitor myself. I would have liked to be informed about all of the practices used so that I could have been apart of the decision making process for my treatment. I am African American and I felt I was viewed as a Black woman that doesnt need any children because we (as Black women \have over populated the country with our children. I was not given a ultrasound to ensure my egg was matured before the procedure. I felt like they judge your income level, marital status and factors that are racially biased. Research the procedure and common practices before coming here. They should have offered more monitoring and provided me with a meaningful course of treatment. instead it was a waste of time and money.

By far the absolute best care I’ve ever received. My husband & I live in FL & when I was diagnosed w/stage 4 Endometriosis I was told I needed to have surgery- but it had to be w/ a highly skilled surgeon as this procedure would be very delicate. We initially met w/Dr. Barbieri for consultation. He listened so intently to me & confirmed I do need surgery w/skilled surgeon. We then met w/Dr. Gargiulo in the pre-op encounter he was extremely through, listened to our concerns & reassured us he would do his best to preserve as much as possible. I had a successful surgery & recovered promptly. As recommended, I began IVF in FL but had complications. Dr. Gargiulo remained accessible through my IVF process & provided his helpful opinions. Once I was told another surgery was required because of complications, we went back to Dr. Gargiulo & even it’s even possible he was even more caring. During the pre-op he went through every single scenario & made sure we would be comfortable w/every outcome. He performed the procedure, I have recovered & I am eternally grateful for his care. The entire staff at Brigham is amazing. The nurses are so caring & thoughtful. Traveling to have a procedure performed isn’t ideal, but they all made it worth it.

Warning: RUN!!! Don’t come here. They don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Staff is absolutely uncaring and clueless. All departments related to fertility are inept and have unqualified people to do procedures. You don’t need that added stress in your fertility journey. I wish I would’ve read the reviews prior. Thank god I escaped right on time. Whoever was smart enough to read this PLEASE look elsewhere.
