I seen a lot of negative reviews but my neurologist was on vacation and I was in need of medication refill and was in a panic as I can’t go without my meds. I submitted my info and what refill I needed. Within 1 hour they called a prescription into my pharmacy. Was very easy and I’m so thankful and satisfied with my experience!

Had to recently go in and get an X-ray of my foot! Honestly, it was the best customer service I have ever had at any doctor’s officer. Everyone was nice. They worked promptly and gave me their honest opinion. It’s rare to have such a pleasant experience at a doctor’s office. It was very pleasant!

Great visit at Helix. Clean facilities, staff at front desk were efficient at getting me signed in and squared away with insurance, and my wait time was very short. Leo and Dr Pruett were very efficient and friendly, which goes a long way when one feels under the weather. Overall it was a 5-star experience.

I’ve been to this emergency clinic three or four times, and each visit has been a positive experience. The staff here is incredibly nice and kind, making what could be a stressful situation much more manageable. The waiting times are surprisingly short, which is a huge relief when you’re not feeling well. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone in need of prompt and compassionate care.

Virtual appointment went well, trying to get the prescription was the issue! Needed a prior authorization, they never sent anything even after saying they started it, even after I provided them the fax number to send the PA, even after the pharmacy reached out to get more information! NEVER GOT THE MEDICATION! Save your time and money, just got to an actual doctor’s office if you can, this is not it! Won’t be using again. Good luck to whoever does!

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and made check-in a seamless process. I was seen immediately. The nurse who checked my vitals was very nice and I was seen by the doctor within a ten minute wait. They called in my prescription and I was home within an hour and already starting the meds. This is my ‘go to’ urgent care and has been for years. My entire family shares my opinion. Always a good and caring experience.

I did not think the patient experience was good. Needed a quick refill on the weekend before going out of the country. Was asked to submit some additional information, which I did, then never heard anything back. Then was charged for the service with no additional information or communication. I emailed and asked what happened and was informed my refill was declined because my rx was more than 2 months old. Horrible communication and still charged me. Dont recommend.

Went to Helix Urgent care years ago when I had an ear infection while on vacation and I just went again recently because I got an ear infection yet again. The girl at the desk was friendly and very helpful with signing me in quickly and efficiently and the nurse and doctor were quick to check out what was wrong with little wait time. The doctor was extremely helpful, friendly, and was very good at explaining what was wrong and what I needed to do to recover. After coming here twice it’s safe to say I know that if I ever need to see a doctor ASAP I won’t hesitate to come here.

Was really good I had no problems told them how I felt, was asked professional questions just like a doctor would was given my diagnosis and they asked me how I really felt. I was given an opportunity to let them know how I really really felt. My prescription was sent to my pharmacy and I am waiting for it to be filled. All in about an hour if that long. Thank you HelixVM for treating me so well.

Completely wasted my time, did not even complete the prescription. Wish I would have checked reviews before attempting a visit. Amazing how everywhere else they have very poor ratings except on Google somehow. Still want to file a claim on my insurance for doing nothing but sending me an email.

First I was greeted by a friendly nurse who helped me with check in since I could hardly walk. Then an attendant came to get me and found a wheelchair for me and then I met the doctor who was very friendly, helpful and we came to a decision of how to treat my condition. I’m very grateful since my symptoms immediately improved after the prescriptions were administered! Thank all of you!

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a completely fraudulent practice. My virtual care meeting was exactly 2 minutes. I was provided a bill that I paid in full after receiving it. I never received care from this practice after and after 8 months of silence, was hit with a surprise bill related to the visit and multiple demands to pay it. I tried in earnest to call and have some explanation of the charges but they don’t take phone calls. They sent me sham, nonsensical invoices over email to explain the costs and when I detailed how the invoices didn’t make sense, they stopped responding. This practice should honestly be shut down, it’s very shady.

They were very thorough, you dont see a provider! They go off your prior medical history and put together a treatment plan for you and send it to your email! So easy! I would definitely refer everyone I know!Thanks Helix!

Their online practice is 100% a scam. I attempted to use their FastTrack Rx and was billed for the pleasure of messaging with absolutely no one while failing to receive a prescription. Thankfully, it seems that I got away with a lighter bill than some other reviewers - to the point that I would rather just pay it and get them off my case forever rather than fight - but yeah. Stay far away for sure.

I wish there was a no star option because this company doesnt even deserve 1 star. I wish I would have looked into the reviews beforehand. This company is absolutely fraudulent. Im healthy, not on routine medications,all ai was needing was a sleeping pill Ambien. They automatically said no (because they dont prescribe controlled substances which Ambien is) and gave me a referral to see my primary doctor. The only reason I tried to get it through HelixVM is because I work M-F 8a-5p and I drive an hour to work each day so its hard for me to take off to see my doctor. Billed my insurance $500 & is now trying to collect $148 from me. I have contacted my insurance company and reported this company as fraudulent. I will not be paying this company a single penny.

I would highly recommend Helix Urgent Care in Stuart , FL. Before going I called and the kind person who answered said they could help me. I was in and out in 45 minutes. They diagnosed my issue, called in prescriptions and followed up a few days later. I give them 5 stars!

I couldn’t get a timely prescription from my doctor of a medication that would stink to go without. HelixVM was able to send me in a 7 day supply. I guess I’m lucky to get a controlled substance refill at all, but I was hoping for 30 days worth. So my problem isn’t totally solved, but the service is easy to use and I got quick service and they billed my insurance so I didn’t have to come up with large sums of money.

I wanted a prescription for a headache so I went on they’re website to get an online prescription and they charged my insurance $1000 and I still had to pay $98 extra for just a headache experience, I’m not an expect on how insurance work but I know I’m not supposed to pay $1000+98 just for a headache prescription. They could not fully explain the charge and when I called they sent me to their billing department and they kept telling me to call my insurance which they billed $1000. Do not absolutely trust please read the reviews first they have a lot of bad reviews for a reason.

Helix urgent care has always been awesome when I’ve had to visit. They are professional, so attentive, very caring, concerned and the wait time is always very minimal. I recommend them highly!

I received 5 days supply on a refill for a co trolled substance sleep medicine I’ve been getting 30 day supplies of previously before I moved. I do not have an established doctor because I’ve lived here for three weeks, and my insurance is to be used at Ascension only yet Ascension physicians haven’t been able to take any new patients because of the hack that’s been all over the United States in the news. So I went onto the website it said it would refill a controlled substance. I made tea, paperwork and payment and they took the $95 and they gave me a five day supply. I could’ve went out of pocket anywhere in the area and gotten a 30 month with probably at least one refill to get me through anywhere else if I just would’ve waited a few days and made an appointment. But because it seemed very easy, they said they except sleep medication and there wouldn’t be any issues and yet I only got a five day supply for $95 and they won’t refund my money back. I have asked them and giving them an explanation of the fact that I have been out of a job for two months and I really don’t have this kind of money to spend for five days supply and if they didn’t want to refill my prescription, they didn’t have to take my money but instead they took the money and only gave me five days supply. It’s not acceptable if you’re going to exclude controlled substance that exclude them on your website or when they ask you and tell them no they’re not going to give you a refill that I wouldn’t have done it, but it says that they accepted it spoke to someone they said they wouldn’t be any issues and they won’t refund my money.. there are many other places you can use their way less money to refill prescription or to give you a new prescription that are online! Don’t use them

Helix provides an exceptional great service for people requiring meds. The medical field should be as easy as Helix makes it. If you require medication and can’t make it to your doctor or just refuse to fight the hassle, these guys will help. Why battle appointments to see a doctor when you already know what you need to get through life. They refilled my seizure meds with no red tape. It truly is a great service and I’m enjoying it. Yes, you might have to pay cash but still, the cash is worth it in the long run.

BEWARE: SCAM and INSURANCE FRAUD.Their customers service is absolutely impossible to get ahold of and they will charge your insurance over $1000 a couple days later for nothing. I thought I was just having a consultation and was never in clear communications with any doctor or find anyway to reach out to them. Their patient portal is terrible to navigate as obviously they’re a scam. I had a consultation with them in April and they sent me lab-works to do but I ended up just not going through fully as I was never able to reach out to anyone, they said they accepted Cigna my insurance and I was charged $98 for which I already emailed them back in April why I’m even being charged for this and now my insurance said they’re claiming we own them $1,100. I don’t understand how all our bad reviews don’t show up on top as MANY MANY other patients have the same exact experience but they only show the good reviews. For everyone please for the sake of your time and money do NOT EVER use this company. I hope someone can file a class action lawsuit against them so all of us don’t have to keep worrying and dealing with this disgrace of a company out of our billable hours.

Dr Chris D was great. I walked in and immediately was impressed with how clean the space was and how professional the staff was. I had a bad cut that required stitches in a very tough spot. He took the time to explain and go through the process and fix me up right. Any future urgent care I will go here and recommend others to it.

Dont do it. Just go to a clinic in person. I have insurance. I could have paid a $25 deductible at a clinic. Helix said I would not be charged. Used helix to get a $14 prescription for pinkeye. Two days and many emails later I actually got my prescription. Now I get an email saying theyre going to charge my card $80. This is a scam!

The on-call medical associate was knowledgeable, kind, thorough and the remainder of the staff was polite as well. I was the only patient and I was treated professionally as well. My experience with Helix has always been excellent.

Didnt see a doctor. Filled out a form, then sent a perscripton but the medicine is $1200 and my insurance wont cover it so they decide to charge me. I contact them, they give a robot response of pay your bill or it will go to collections. They took the money and it paid it off. No services rendered other than them sending a random perscripton not hacked against if my insurance would cover it or not then said youre on your own now. They are refusing to delete my account and seemingly are going to keep sending in perscriptons so they can charge me every month. Ludacris! Do not use these people unless you are 100% sure your insurance will cover the medicine that the website says guaranteed will be $99 or less. Wrong very wrong.

First time visiting.PA spoke way too loud, not a fan of that behavior.Front Desk young lady apparently wasnt focused - despite getting my DL/CC/Insurance Card/the filled out form & the correct spelling of my name by me, she still found a way to put my name in the computer incorrectly.David (I believe his name was) - Xray personnel was fantastic! He listened was calm, patient & kind.

I agree with the previous reviewer who suggested that I do not waste my time and money. I should have read the one-star reviews first! I needed a fast response service due to positive Covid test and flu-like symptoms. Over twelve hours after I first requested service, HelixVM were asking me to use an app to schedule a video chat (at a time to be scheduled hours later!) and were sketchy in advance about exactly how much I was to pay. I went with a competing service and received my Paxlovid prescription within two hours. I wasted my time and will ensure that these scammers dont get my money. SUPER SLOW SERVICE!

I made an appointment online and they said they took my insurance. I got medication that didn’t end up working, I did my whole appointment through answering questions on an app and never met with a doctor, which was fine by me. I was charged $10. Then three weeks later I got charged $98 on my card. They said that they took Aetna insurance and I would have never made this appointment if I knew it would be over $100 WITH insurance, to not even see or talk to a doctor. Not counting the price of the meds. I feel very scammed.

Worst service I’ve ever used. They were unable to treat me and charged me for a REFERRAL. $95 for a REFERRAL? Absolutely insane. I do not even need referrals with my insurance. This is a scam site. Do not use this site or enter your credit card.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with an online Dr. They filled my prescription the first time, but when it was time for a refill they took my monthly payment and didn’t give me my medication. It was BP medicine, nothing crazy. I had no new symptoms or any reason why they couldn’t fill it. I called and customer service told me the dr said I needed to be seen in person. Which is fine, I’ll do that. But they refuse to refund the money they took from me. I thought I could trust them, they seemed legit. I would just caution any new person, don’t give them your bank information. I’m so disappointed and absolutely done with online medicine after this.

I was pleasantly surprised with how fast I was able to book a telehealth appointment with a real provider. The process was smooth and I was able to provide the necessary documents. I’d recommend them to anyone and I would use the services again if I’m not able to get an appt with my primary in a timely fashion. Give them a try.

This company is absolutely horrible, first off the doctor that I had my virtual visit with was acting like she didnt want to be there, had an attitude and basically said okay to anything I said without even really listening or explaining. Then when I got my bill I was a few days late and they sent me a bill literally every day to where I had 15 bills in 3 days on top of that they would call an email me basically harassing me until I pay them of course I paid them and now Im fighting with them to get my account deleted

Shady company I was billed but I did not even receive services . This was supposed to be a telehealth visit ….please avoid and be careful when you sign up for online help . I was told my insurance didn’t cover so it was cancelled . I never saw a doctor and I ended up going to a local urgent care the following day .Not sure why I got billed for not receiving services . No doctor spoke to me or anything . Please avoid this company . They just want to bill you !!! Scam!!! Scam company!! beware, they will charge you 95 dollars and not fill your script if you are one of the lucky ones. they seem to be a fully AI driven cash machine that neess ti be shutdown. All of the staff was considerate & well versed in their position. I was in & out quickly.The Dr. was calm, caring, & told me what he was going to do beforehand.

They were great.. I needed a refill for eliquis they just ask you a couple questions . What is the medication for & how long you’ve been taking it.. then it’s done took about 2 minutes.. and my prescription refill was called in .. the next day 2 out 3 of my prescriptions were called in and I’m still working on trying to get thev3 rd resent to the pharmacy..

EDIT:Coincidentally after this review, I got a call from HelixVM and they informed me that my prescription was sent and it would be ready in 3-4 hours. This was true and my medication was finally sent.Original:This place is a scam. They have charged me for my visit but there was no visit nor medications prescribed. There was a visit summary claiming I would get treatment and that my treatment had been sent to the pharmacy. I contacted them to told them that my pharmacy had no such information. HelixVM CM rep stated that the prescription was sent. This was 3 weeks ago (after they have charged me for this visit as well), and they continue to tell me they are sending my request to the medical team, but continue to not get a response other than an automated reply.

Great and quick service. Much better than having yo get out and go wait forever at urgent care. Great doctors and quick responses. Prescriptions sent very quickly to my local pharmacy!

This is a SCAM- please go to an in person doctor and AVOID using this platform. I recently was experiencing intense stomach pain, and was unable to get an appointment with my general doctor within the time frame needed. I set up my portal as a quick alternative expecting to meet with a doctor via call. Instead the “doctor” was an AI generated questionnaire which ultimately prompted me to “seek in-person medical care”.After giving me no helpful information, or access to a real doctor- or person. I was billed close to $100 for the 10 min online questionnaire they provided.It was my fault for being so ignorant to poor reviews, please don’t make the same mistake I did. Especially if you are not insured, or are paying your own cost of coverage.Do not use.

I had hoped leaving a one star review was enough, but incessant texts and emails about collecting $103 from a 2-4 minute video call where a doctor says We dont do that. I cant help you. Heres a referral. Good luck is their preferred marketing technique. I attempted to return the call from the gentleman investigating the one star review (since they are more concerned with Google Reviews than patient outcomes) and have yet to hear back, which shows just how much they care.This was a complete and utter waste of both time and money. Despite advertising itself as beginning a healthcare journey and care, and despite being under the purview of primary care, my appointment was actually a five minute video call of We can only discuss one issue per visit and Oh, you need to see someone else. Heres a referral. Bye. If you need urgent care for one issue, this might be useful. If youre looking for a service that actually provides care, I wouldnt bother.

*edited*. This place is a nightmare! Do not waste your money! The doctor I just saw via video was so rude. He kept contradicting himself. Finally I ask him why he was gaslighting me and he hung up the video on me. He refused to give me a treatment plan, or even tell me what they treat. He was extremely sketchy! Like one of those docs you wouldn’t take your dog to!

05/24/2024 UPDATE: A manager called and apologize for the situation and although it took a few months, did do the right thing and refund my total charge. Obviously I dont need the medication anymore anyway. Just be careful when dealing with these companies go in person if you can but I will say I respect this and most companies wouldnt have called . 1 star -> 3 starsLike others have mentioned, was billed for a service I never received. They claimed I was never assessed and then right under it having an assessment section LOL. I received a summary of my visit that never occurred recently for March 4 at 7 AM that also never occurred (was sleeping). They said the prescription request form i sent over could not be fulfilled because it was a controlled substance. So I literally never met with anyone never spoke with anyone nothing. They didnt bother to directly email or call me with a message or options. But thats fine. Whats not fine is sending me a summary document filled with stuff that never happened, bogus vitals, and then the day later charging me the full fee of now $100. My bank did the right thing because when I couldnt get in contact with these people it appears they would not. Stay away

Not a good service they didn’t provide the prescription and on top of that they want to continue charging on a regular basis difficult to cancel as well. I had to call the bank to put a stop.

I got a super quick appointment, and got the medication needed. As I was on vacation and suffering a terrible migraine, the wonderful staff and doctor truly saved me. All were incredibly kind and supportive

I spent $95 and was told that I would meet with a provider, also on their website it lists that they prescribe certain medication‘s which they certainly do not. I just had a video call with Cory Stanley. He was extremely rude. He hung up on me just because I was unhappy with the company’s service. He just said, “I am ending this appointment.” Then he hung up on me. If I could, I would leave this company zero stars. They are very sketchy and super unprofessional. I have never had a doctor hang up on me before, absolutely do not use this company if you want help.

I am so grateful for the entire staff. Especially when you don’t feel well, the last thing you want is a bad experience and lengthy wait time. Not here!!! . Everyone was polite caring and I was in and out within an hour. Dr Pruett and staff THANK YOU!!!

Charge my insurance company and then told me to see my primary care doctor over medicine that was not even a controlled substance. Im a very healthy person but work a lot and I thought this would be convenient. Dont let them charge your insurance company too with no resolution. Just go see your primary care doctor as thats what they might tell you like they did me.

Dr. Pretty and her staff—especially the women at the front desk—made my visit an altogether pleasant one! One small matter I feel compelled to mention is that The clinic seemed understaffed. Dr. Pretty was the only physician there, and when I left at around 6pm the waiting area was full. It looked like she could use some help.

Glad to see I’m not the only one who was SCAMMED by this company. I scheduled visit in November ‘23 and my appointment was canceled as the provider was “held up”, a term others have said was used on them too. So then I was supposed to be rescheduled and nothing. So I went to CityMD virtual and had great experience. Month later I receive bill and see they charged my insurance over a $1000 for a visit that never happened with a Dr. Mary Buggia (a doctor others have mentioned in complaints) when my doctor I was scheduled with was a Dr.VanDerBeck. I see messages on app that prescriptions were sent to what pharmacy who knows but definitely not for me. My insurance company starts investigating and says they found in favor of the provider so after hours of calls back and forth and three way calls with Helix customer service, same girl each time, and promised someone would get back to me, no responses. Then I leave voicemails n emails and nothing. My insurance rep actually lost her patience with them when told a “manager” would get back to me personally but she could NOT provide a name of manager, not even a first name. Really fishy. Usually I’d research first but I was sick and day after Thanksgiving so I just wanted to get treated and instead I got stuck like a turkey. Now reading all these reviews and on Trustpilot, similar MO for this company and obviously racking u thousands of dollars in insurance fraud and credit card fraud. I am looking into filing class action lawsuit and want to reach out to attorney general in Florida as this company and its owners need to be held accountable and jailed. Don’t know how they got away with this for so long doing the same thing repeatedly and following same scripts. Will keep you posted! For new people, HEED THE WARNINGS, STAY AWAY!

Skip this for any male issues. They make you goto a real Dr anyway to get labs. Regardless of how healthy you are. They will give you one month, then they make you goto a real Dr to get labs dawn. Skip this! Just go to your general Dr and get your script. So much easier. Even if you wanted to get labs the app Helix they make you use has no way in the app to send your labs to them.

ABSOLUTELY A SCAM- DO NOT USEI have been reaching out for months trying to get an answer as regarding my bill since the balance has gone up significantly and now the bill is $277 instead of $147. I have been contacting by email and phone with no answer since March and have received nothing. I was trying to see a doctor and answered a series of questions, never saw a doctor and it ended up sending random prescriptions and I was never seen. Now it is saying I have a large bill and I have tried contacting for months and nothing.

AVOID. SCAM.Somehow got forced into a request for a prescription only instead of a Teladoc visit. They advertise prescription sent without a visit. How the hell can a physician prescribe medication with a new patient without ever having visited them? The reason for the visit was fairly benign, howeverthey canceled the request and simply stated go to the ER for an abscess complaint on the gum line. They then charged my card 90 some dollars even though I input my insurance information they mysteriously “couldn’t verify” this appears to be nothing other than a quick method to bring in revenue without any actual care exam or thought put into the process.

I was able to schedule an appointment on line. My appointment was at 4:15 and I was in my car heading home by 5. When I went to pharmacy to pick up my prescription it was in and ready they had sent it electronically. These things are so important when you are not feeling well

Scam . All I needed was preventative malaria medicine before a trip abroad. I wasn’t diagnosed anything. Just a simple prescription. The video call was barely 5 minutes. My pharmacy didn’t have the prescription and they tried to reach out to the doctor to ask for an alternative. The doctor knew I left for the trip soon, and never responded. I had to go through a different doctor to get a new prescription. I was charged by these people $98 out of pocket. And my insurance was charged a whopping $1000. For a 3 minute call, and an unhelpful doctor that didn’t respond to correct my prescription. I tried calling and emailing customer service multiple times. A couple weeks go by and still no response. And they charged me without hearing my complaints.

Fast, friendly and professional service. I was seen promptly by a real MD! He agreed with me on a course of treatment, wrote a prescription and I was on my way. So grateful as I was out of town on business.

Waste of time.Great tool but you cannot put any information into system but only choose what symptoms they have already programmed. I had poison ivy and there is no entry for it. Crazy… you have to use the word rash which doesn’t help at all and gets zero help.

A complete scam. So called physician called in 15 tablets of a 90 tablet refill of the wrong medicine. Dont waste your money.

I would highly recommend Helix Medical in Tequesta. We had a great experience. Everyone was so professional, helpful and understanding. We had no wait, the staff was very friendly and Dr. Pruett was very thorough and kind. My daughter, who sometimes is uneasy with new medical offices, was very comfortable and happy we choose this office.

Had lab work done five days ago and haven’t heard anything from them regarding results since and can’t get into contact with Physician downloaded the app and everything I don’t understand why they make it so hard just to get in contact with your doctor and on top of that they keep sending me text messages about “follow up” appointments with links that don’t even work all it does is take you to their homepage this was my first and last time dealing with this virtual clinic I thought it would be easier but honestly it’s not wasted a whole week when I could have been seen and treated already going to a traditional clinic.

Skip the processes that dont matter, and only agree to what does matter. From start to finish, I was at the pharmacy the same day. Great job!

They literally saved my partner from being feed fish antibiotics. Its so hard to get in to see a doctor. I rarely try websites like this because there always seems to be a catch. Oh I am so glad i gave it a chance. I cant believe how incredibly easy it was. My partner had a tooth infection and was in a considerable amount of pain, after a few questions, i was contacted via text message and asked to make an appointment. Took the next available one witch was literally 10 minutes later. The doctor called via video call. The doctor was patient and knowledgeable. Not trying to rush me to get to the next patient. Also not trying to take up my whole day. She took a look and prescribed him some antibiotics. So easy and fast. Im definitely bookmarking this website and telling all my friends and family. Outstanding level of care! All staff members were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The healthcare providers were so caring and wonderful. The facility is super clean.

More expensive than the other online rx prescribers for the USA, but effective and came in handy when I needed it.However, they do actively violate do not contact attempts when spamming/harassing me, so I did have to lawyer up and let them know they will be reported to the CFPB for each violation (over 14 as of today) as well as pursuing damages in court (thankfully im legally disabled and thats documented with the government as is my unemployment currently.Just as a warning for anyone whos mentally disabled and is being harassed by any company, such as this one.

This company is a complete scam. They charged my insurance $500 and I never even finished the consult. Now they want to send me to collections over a $5 bill that I don’t even owe. I’ve reported them to my insurance company for fraud. Hopefully it’s taken care of soon. Don’t use this company.

Negative stars… Advertise max 95.00 out if pocket… false advertising, should be investigated! Charged $1000.00 for a UTI. Advertised Cigna- Cigna out of network. Called in, didnt talk to a doctor only answered a questionaire, knowing it was a UTI. Was charged 500.00 facility charge and 500.00 physician charge. So much for telehealth lowering health care costs. This is nuts! Helix Telehealth should be investigated.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A complete scam! Never heard from a physician, was charged $95 for someone to tell me once I called to find out what happened with my appointment to look on the back of my insurance card for a physician. I have recorded all of my phone calls with their customer service telling me they would refund my money since last weekend and it’s Friday I still haven’t received that refund so now those recordings will become TikTok videos unless I receive my refund for this fraudulent foolishness!

This is the fastest appointment to get my prescription I have ever had. No hassles or anything. Since I was between doctors, I was in trouble because the medication that I needed I’ve had filled for five years and without it would be in trouble.

Great service. Took me back within 15 minutes listened to my concern and saw the doctor received chest X-ray saw the doctor and was out with answers within 1 hour.

Do not waste your time. I booked an appointment to see about getting a psych referral. I met with a doctor via a telehealth appt and the doctor did nothing other than put the referral in. 6 weeks later, I’ve still not heard back and they charged $500 for the visit. Apparently the doctor who booked the referral put in a “treatment plan” basically telling me to walk outside and exercise to relieve anxiety. Thats what the $500 charge was for. That wasn’t the reason I asked for an appointment though.Based on my experience, it appears that this organization cares more about money than it does patient care.

This was for a virtual visit with a Cigna patient. Cigna is advertised on your website as being one of the major insurance providers accepted, and in addition you claim that no more than $95 out of pocket to be expected. I got a notification that my visit would be over $600 with FACILITY fees included (the visit was VIRTUAL), and that the provider is not in network! How does this happen with so much discrepancy from what is being advertised on your website?! Ive NEVER had to pay more than $100 for a virtual 10-minute lasting visit. Thats insane to think that I now owe more than $600! Scam!!

This place is my go to spot when I need immediate medical care. There is seldom a long wait and they are very accommodating.

Scam / fraud. I needed a refill on my asthma inhaler and my Dr clinic was closed. I stumbled upon this and they claimed to take my insurance. They had an option to use refill without speaking with anyone. They claimed to send script to my pharmacy but it never went through (similar to others here). After repeated attempts and about a week later, they finally sent it over; by then I didn’t even need it. About a month later, they bill my instance 500 bucks and charge me close to 80. Firstly they claimed to take my insurance and then they still manage to charge me a crazy amount just for a refill. On top of that, all of my “ chart” is wrong and they falsely documented my vitals, didn’t ask me for my medical history or anything. This seems like a money mill and taking advantage of people / salon to insurance fraud (over billing). I will be filing complaints to the state licensing board among various other organizations.

This place is an absolute joke. False advertising frauds. I had an appointment and confirmed with the provider where my pharmacy was, the one I input myself before the appointment. He still sent it to the wrong one. I tried calling as soon as it didn’t show up at my pharmacy, no answer. Out of over 50 calls during business hours, they’ve answered twice. Both times I was told they’d correct it. Still, no prescription at the right pharmacy.Incompetent, money driven service with no value and a talentless hack of a provider who had to resort to this business model.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was trying to get a script filled through them and they sent me a text to give my pharmacy 2 hours to accept and fill it. A whole day goes by, nothing. I try and call them and I keep getting sent to voicemail. I better not be charged! Reporting to better business bureau.

Very unprofessional. One phone call with a nurse, recieved no medical attention, or prescription refill/ solution, which was the entire purpose of the vist. Prescription that was needed was made clear on my assessment, they did not inform me until the nure called and said they could not write a prescription for that medicine via tela health, but still was billed the full amount.

I got sick with a sinus infection ..got online.. gave my info and they called me in a prescription . This was great. No long wait at Dr office getting more germs. All from the comfort of my bed I did this. I highly recommend! 10/10

HelixVM is so awesome they really care about your needs. Its so convenient when you not able to get in to see your regular to get a refill on your prescription. I go on the website and within hours my refill as been sent to my choice of pharmacy.

There was a couple stumbling blocks getting started. I almost gave up but thankfully a lady who answered when i called customer service named Angela helped me get everything figured out. She was so kind and pleasant. She literally went SO above and beyond to make sure my son and I both got our appointments completed and the medications that we needed. The PA Kenneth VanDerBeck was so lovely. I am absolutely using Helix again and would recommend them.I will say that if youre trying to get through to customer service and nobody answers just literally keep trying until somebody picks up. You will be glad you did.

The website is buggy, and it wouldn’t let me finish a request. When I called the support line, I was told that I would receive an email confirmation in within 2 hours, which I never received. I called back multiple times and they were completely unresponsive. I called 5 times and left 2 voicemails and nothing. Don’t know what’s going on here.

Doctor prescribed me too large of an amount, pharmacy couldnt fulfill it, pharmacy tried to contact the doctor to resubmit a different prescription, doctor never responded. Got charged $75 from Helix & $150 from my insurance.. for a service that didnt fulfil me with any sort of help. Thanks guys. Good luck getting paid

Was actually googling quick at home remedies when I came across this place. Everything seemed/sounded great, super convenient. Did the Fast Track option at 4am bc I felt awful but had to work in the morning. Super easy, but I didn’t think anything was going to happen. Later on in the evening I received a text that they sent the prescription, followed by a text from my pharmacy that it couldn’t be filled. Called and they told me they put in a request for an alternative bc my insurance didn’t cover that one (something I’ve never heard of). It was just a simple antibiotic, I’ve literally never had one that my insurance did not cover. I called the number Helix gives on the website and got voicemail telling me to leave a message. No response. I sent an email and the only response I received was that they’ll look in to it further. It’s been 3 days and nothing, however I’m sure my insurance got billed for the “visit”. It’s either a scam or incredibly inconvenient for an “urgent care” kind of situation. A) why send in something crazy that my pharmacy doesn’t even carry and insurance doesn’t cover when there are a billion other more common options B) if it takes a week+ then it’s pointless

One of the worst experiences trying to get anxiety meds. they do NOT listen, and are quick to label you as medication seeking if you are opposed to SSRI’s. they will minimize your problems, say you’re “too young” to be on fast acting medications that are proven to relieve your symptoms (I am in my twenties and have been dealing with severe anxiety for almost 10 years), though at this point I won’t make it to the “right” age. they refuse to return calls (or answer them in the first place), and do not answer emails or messages. they don’t show for appointments you have made in advance, and tell you they sent a prescription when the pharmacy never receives anything. of course, they’ll be charging you & your insurance for all this, and even MAKE UP A FAKE APPOINTMENT to charge your insurance for after you said you would go somewhere else. don’t waste your time, money, or mental health on this place.

This virtual medical evaluation service is somewhat of a scam after what I experienced. Researching other victims situations, I am certainly far from the only one gaslighted by HelixVM. With no medical clinics being open in the area on a recent vacation weekend and feeling despret to get antibiotic eye drops to clear up a worsening pinkeye infection, I found this site stating they could treat pinkeye from a list of common illnesses. I went through the lengthy service diagnostic questions and comments and it stated I should receive communication about a possible prescription within 90 minutes. Five hours later I finally received a text stating the prescription had gone through to the pharmacy. I then drove the 45 minutes to the closest open Walgreens Pharmacy that I had requested the prescription to be sent to. The pharmacist tech with an odd look on her face walked from behind the counter to the retail shelves, grabbed an over the counter eye drop box and placed it in a prescription bag. I inquired about this being for pink eye and she referred to the pharmacist. He stated this might help with symptoms, but in no way would this help clear up pink eye since it was not an antibiotic. He could read my dismay and frustration, agreeing I had been bamboozled by this sketchy online website. Why did I go through the time, hassle and expense on a over the counter eye drop I could have purchased five minutes down the road from my hotel on my own? I ultimately visited a walk in clinic the next day back home and received the proper antibiotics. The PA couldnt believe the online diagnostic service prescribed me a non-antibiotic eyedrop. He stated it was almost malpractice. Consumers beware. Stay away from HelixVM. I assume I will be charged through insurance, and if I am, I plan to inquire with my legal service through work about what legal steps I may be able to taken with HelixVM.

Do not use them. I paid $98 for a month supply of medication for gabapentin they gave me three days worth. When I called to ask about it Tina answered and told me gabapentin was a controlled substance In Florida I let her know she was misinformed and it wasnt thats when she got really defensive and hung up on me. I called back to speak to a supervisor and she refused to let me talk to anyone. I think its really sad that their lead medical assistant doesnt know what a controlled substance is and is giving people false information. You can tell shes not very educated. Luckily I got a refund she told me she was going to make sure I didnt receive a refund but it wasnt up to her and I did receive it. Shes really rude and I would never use this company again because of her

I used fast track again, said my meds be sent to pharmacy in a few hours then I get an email that everything was CANCELLED! NOTHING and I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing but bad experiences with them. Then they dont even reply on my emails. Worst, most horrible set up ever. Inconvenience. Time wasted with these people AGAIN. Please take my advice! Go elsewhere. Dont waste your time. She had an impatient tone all the way through. I told her what 3different doctors prescribed for the depression and she insisted they were wrong the Bupropion was NOT a booster to the Sertraline I’ve been taking for 3 years…She said I didn’t submit the Sertraline to the web site… it was first on the list.She scolded me saying this isn’t going to be a full submission, I never asked it to be. She said it’s just to get me from running out of meds to my next Dr appointment… I said, yes, that is what and why I calling…Then I said I needed Meclize for the bad heart burn, she yell at me saying I didn’t tell her that… um, I told her from the start about the GURDS, then the middle saying I get bad heart burn, she said I know, I already got it…But hello how can she say I didn’t tell her when I wasn’t finished telling her what I was out of…..she ended saying she was going to review and see if she will send these over!She was horrible to deal with! I’m as highly educated as she is, and can guarantee I’ve had more life experiences! I don’t talk to her or anyone the way she spoke to me! she has no right to talk down to me like she did!Not to mention last night I was scheduled for a 7:15 appointment and I waited for 2 hours on the phone and NO ONE EVER GOT ON!

Scheduled a virtual appointment, provided requested information and received results and a prescription was sent to my local pharmacy. Pharmacy sent a text to confirm the prescription was ready including the $ amount of my deductible. Sounds great, right? Yeah, no. Get to the pharmacy and the prescription was cancelled by this outfit. I called Helix to ask why and they couldnt tell me why but did want to schedule me for a follow-up (at a cost). Fool me once, shame on me. Youre not fooling me twice.

I was very Leary and sceptical to use an online service but today is a holiday and I didnt want to go to the ER for a UTI and waste time and resources but from a quick entry online no phone call or back to back communication I just picked up my antibiotics. From start to finish it was about an hour.

I had CoVid and a corneal abrasion at the same time. My local opthamologist clinic was not seeing patients in person. Go Telehealth, right?When my visit started, I began explaining what was happening, but the PA rudely interrupted me asking why I was there. Apparently, he had not looked at my chart.I explained I had CoVid and a painful corneal abrasion-- and my local opthamology clinic was not seeing patients with CoVid. I was in acute pain- my eye was visibly inflamed! Again, he asks why I came.Maybe I insulted him when I said that corticosterioids eye drops reduce inflammation, pain and prevent further injury. This was immediately refused.He then asked if I needed anything else? Hesitantly, could I have tylenol w/ hydrocodone for pain? Of course not! He would have to see my eye first! Wait, isnt this why I was there?To add insult to injury, instead of billing my insurance-- Helix charged my bank $97.00! What happened to using my insurance info that I uploaded?I called customer service and was promised three times a supervisor would return my call. Nope. But I did get two emails stating everything went just as it should, service was provided, end of discussion, pay up.The Helix PA did not hear my pain or care that his suggestion that I see a specialist was not possible. He lacked compassion and made me cry. Oh, and made no attempt at any sort of examination or interview.Hopefully, more patients will not be turned away and shamed when they are in need. If I could write this place at zero Stars I would! The very first telehealth visit that I had with them went smoothly. The doctor was very kind patient and understanding to my concerns. But today marks a different story. I used the AL Driven Technology for the fast scripts, where theres no need to see the doctor. This is only supposed to take about 2 or 3 hours at the most well since about 11am, and it is now five, still no prescription at my Pharmacy. I made two telehealth appointments to see the doctor virtually also today one at 2:00 well no call no nothing. So I called them and only thing you can get is an answering machine that doesnt call you back until who knows when. And then I make another appointment for 2:30 and the same thing. No doctors appointment. No notifications of it. Nothing from Helix! So they say this is convenient no in my case its not. I have an infected tooth that I needed antibiotics for and now Im sitting here in pain with my mouth swollen because twice theyre our technology did not send my prescription into my Pharmacy and twice on top of that my appointments that I made to actually see the doctor virtually were not even completed! Would I recommend them to anyone after my first visit yes I would have. But after today after four tries, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

This place is a scam!! Do not use. I did a telehealth appointment the provider was late when i finally got a hold of someone they prescribed me 3 medications , confirmed the pharmacy and was told it would be sent within the hour. That was yesturday and today still no RX sent . Called left a message and a email yesturday no one gets a hold of you or your not able to get a hold of anyone. I will be filling a complaint also with the better business bureau and consumer affairs with the district attorneys office.

This company will allow you to go through an entire medical review with the doctor, they will send the script to the pharmacy but when the insurance company requires a prior authorization to be completed for it to be paid for, they refuse! This means you now have to pay for it out of your pocket because they do not want to do what is required by the insurance company. Ridiculous! Dont recommend!

My wife came down with the flu. My daughter also had the flu a day before my wife. My daughter submitted her information to this company and she received Tamaflu. Everything worked well. I submitted my wife’s information and received a confirmation from the company. This configuration was the only correspondence I received. I sent two emails asking the status and received no response. Since Tamaflu only works if you take in in the early stages of the flu. As a result, my wife had to go through fighting the flu without Tamaflu. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB. I would not use this business as there are other businesses available. I should have reviewed the reviews before I started using this business. A “0” is a more appropriate review!

We had two family members sick. Very easy to deal with HelixVM. Remarkably personal for a virtual health appointment. Very much liked that the provider followed up a couple days later with a phone call.

I use Helix Virtual often and Im very satisfied with the service. Not having to go to a packed clinic is a service I value greatly. Doctors, Pas and NP have a wonderful bedside manner and are attentive and thoughtful of all your needs.

I get an infection that i deal with from time to time and i didnt want to go to the er for hours on end for them to tell me what i already know. So i tried helix for an antibiotic... 7 hours later and i get a prescription for ibuprofen 400. What would make these people think that i needed to pay $95 and cost of prescription for something i have in my medicine cabinet? Unreal! Fraudulent/Negligent……The NP gave me exactly 4 minutes of his time to just tell me to go to the ER (from which I just came from!). He told me he will refer me to a psychiatrist but that could take 4 weeks. Don’t waste your time and money here. You can be sure I will be reporting them to the BBB.

I had an appointment scheduled at 10:15am. I did not hear from the provider for 30 minutes and no one ever joined the call. I called the number that they gave for any questions regarding my appointment and a representative named Caleb answered saying that the provider would be with me shortly. I called again 15 minutes later and I did not receive an answer after that. This was an extremely unprofessional service and I will never use them again.

Input all my info, didnt hear back for 5 days at which point they prescribed me Rxs I didnt even need by then. Luckily I had an at home COVID test, so I did that while waiting for Helix and found out I was positive. Good thing I didnt wait to hear back from Helix!!

I want to say a personal thank you to Kyle Sneed, at HelixVM. I have been very ill for the last week and feeling pretty sick today, I decided I would try an online medical care service as I still was too physically sick to visit a doctor. After several attempts to schedule an appointment through both the website and the Cigna app, I was ready to just give up and walk away. Then I got an email from Kyle asking if he could help. In a world of websites that don’t always work and are slow to respond, and text messages with no human behind them, Kyle’s email was a breath of fresh air. A real human who actually saw my “frustration and cry’s for help”!Kyle not only gave me the help I needed, but he also kept an eye on my online success/failures while in the systems. After several email exchanges we finally succeeded in getting me connected to a medical professional. And then, Kyle actually took time to call and make sure I was okay!! What a great, caring human being. He has excellent customer service skills and is a kind and knowledgeable employee. He went above and beyond to help me resolve my issues. Being sick is no fun - Kyle helped my day a little easier. Thank you Kyle - HelixVM is lucky to have you on their team.

Asked for medication they didn’t prescribe any they told me to go to the ER

Doctor stated she would call in a RX, pharmacy says they never got the RX. Stay away from online doctors thinking they know whats best. Not worth the money the collect.

DO NOT USE! I used them for a prescription of acylovir. Which Ive used telehealth before an only paid $35 for the visit. These people charge my insurance $500 and then sent me a bill for $296!! For fever blister medicine!

Tamara Donofrio is an excellent employee at this company and has been quick to send my Rx for a sleep study so I can get my insomnia and possible sleep apnea under control. Regardless, this company is extremely responsive and supportive in wonderful treatment advice and maintenance medication.

My boyfriend does not have insurance, so I found this website, and they successfully got me a prescription for paxlovid. Make sure to call the pharmacy and confirm they have the prescription first, so you dont have to go through what I had to go through. And just to let you know we got the prescription for free! Thank you for what you do!!!

Seamless experience! Was able to schedule an urgent appointment and get prescribed the medication I needed to treat an infection all in the same day! Prescription was filled within an hour! Kelly was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, and Jessie was friendly and informative! Overall a wonderful experience.

When I informed them of this, they insisted that it was me that told them of only one of my allergies. I proved that I did in fact tell them about all three of my allergies. Twice. This was my first tele-med visit Ive ever had.... Let me just say WOW! The process was very easy and straight forward. As soon as I put in my appointment request I then got a text to register, which took maybe 10 minutes. I then received a text right before my appointment to connect with the provider, I didnt even have to download an app. It was so convenient Im definitely coming back. Adrian Bellido was the provider that I seen and he was very quick but very attentive to detail and had great bedside manner! 5 stars isnt enough. Definitely beat waiting forever in a packed office.

This took about 3 hours to get the prescription to the pharmacy however, the wait at the urgent care clinic was 3 hours to get in to see a doctor. Very convenient.

Disappointed so far. If I actually get my prescription, I will change this review but its not looking good. Jumped through hoops to get treated and so far nothing! Because I work long hours I go to online Drs. I had high hopes for this website. It was a process and I unfortunately a waste of time.

Dr availability did not match zocdoc info. They moved my appointment to a whole different doctor at an entirely different time without asking if that time even worked. When I called I was told they could move my appointment back up to a better time with yet another doctor. That doctor didn’t even connect to the call until about 45 minutes after the time I was given, which was even later than the time that I told them did not work for me. That said, the doctor himself was lovely and helpful, if not punctual. This was a frustrating experience to say the least. I will not be recommending this facility to friends or family.

Criminals. One screen say $50 then its $75 give tgem a cc number and it becomes $75-$95. I was affraid to proceed any further. The next screen the price will be $125 and then $150. I susspect it will be a $500 charge by the time you get to anything useful. SCAM!

Excellent company, we all work,And the exact same thing that you would tell your primary physician you can tell them and they’ll do the exact same thing for you without you having to make an appointment and takeoff time for work.do yourself a favor and let them help you like they helped me

They have a list of symptoms, you cannot enter any symptoms they don’t already have listed and they also do not discuss what the physician believes is the diagnosis. I received no communication until the next day when I got spammed with phone calls to verify where they could send my prescription. Prescription for what? When I asked the person on the phone what the physician diagnosed me with all she could say is they ordered me a generic nausea medication. I ended having to go to an in person apt the next day. Don’t waste your time or money.

Great place and the doctor is a real peach . Funny as can be and very knowledgeable.
