Its hard for me to put into words what Michigan Reproductive Medicine means to me and how much theyve done for me. Its been a long, challenging journey, but it has been incredibly successful. This team is truly exceptional, and I still cant believe we made it! Im thrilled to share that Im expecting a baby in January.The support theyve provided throughout this process is something I will never forget. Theyve been there for me every step of the way through this emotional rollercoaster, and I am forever grateful. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! From every aspect, this office is outstanding. The front desk staff, the blood draw team, the doctor, and the embryologist—all of them are deeply invested in helping you achieve your dream of having a baby.

Dr Mersol-Barg, his team of nurses (Timesha, Audrey, Kristie, Stephannie, Donna, Jackie, Pam), and the front office staff are the most amazing people! I honestly feel so blessed to have had such great fertility care during a very difficult time in my life. Because of Michigan Reproductive Medicine, my husband and I are welcoming a baby girl this year to our family. After multiple losses, we turned to fertility treatments with Dr. Mersol-Barg and the team here, and could not have had a better experience. I would recommend them over and over again. The front desk staff are amazing and the nurses are welcoming, transparent, and wonderful to work with. Even while going through the first few rounds of treatments and tests, they were always prepared to discuss next steps if we needed to take them. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, but I don’t even know where to start. It’s hard to find the right words to express our gratitude towards Dr. Mersol-barg and the staff at Michigan Reproductive Medicine. They’re simply amazing!This was our first round of IVF, and thanks to Dr. Mersol-barg we are now almost 15 weeks along with our pregnancy. He is extremely knowledgeable and definitely an expert in his field. The whole process from consultation to prepping for egg retrieval, to transfer and post transfer follow ups etc has gone by so efficiently and without hiccups. The IVF process is of course physically and mentally taxing, but the doctor and the staff at MRM have made everything as smooth as possible. I’ve felt like I’m in very good hands throughout the entire journey, It’s a bittersweet moment graduating from MRM and moving on to an OBGYN for the rest of the pregnancy, as I wish I could just continue with them for the entire duration.The facility is very nice and clean, with nice green views as an added bonus! Wait times were less than 2 minutes. The front desk ladies are awesome and super helpful, and always pick up the phone. The nurses made me feel so comfortable, always available for questions via phone (they’ll call back if they’re not available)— I never had to feel embarrassed about any concerns or questions I was having. Special thanks to the wonderful nurses and front desk staff for their warm and caring energy. Thank you again Dr. Mersol. Phillip and I highly recommend this wonderful place ❤️

Had the best experience at Michigan reproductive medicine. The workers are all so friendly and supportive. All the staff truly care about you, from the women working at the front desk, the people drawing the blood, the nurses and the Dr. So happy I went this office for help. Currently 18 weeks pregnant.

Michigan reproductive medicine is very pleasant to work with. The office staff is always very responsive and patiently answering all of my questions. This clinic also has much better availability than the main competing clinic in the area.

I can’t say enough good things about Michigan Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Mersol-Barg and the entire staff have been by my side and my wife’s side for the past two years through all the ups and downs in my fertility journey. Unfortunately, I have PCOS, so my transfers didn’t go as planned because this condition makes things more complicated, but my second egg retrieval went VERY well. My wife and I decided to do reciprocal IVF (my embryo, her womb) and it worked after the first try. She is now 10 weeks pregnant and MRM has been by our side every step of the way. They’ve shared in our failures and our ultimate success - which is all we could ask for. It has been a long, intense journey - but I never felt I couldn’t call the office and get support or information that I needed. This journey has been intense, and I know their entire team was totally invested in achieving the same outcome my wife and I desired. A baby!! And God willing, we’ll have our first in June.Thank you MRM for everything. We are eternally grateful for all you have done for us. Your part in making our wish come true is invaluable - and you’ll be in our hearts forever!!

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! The staff is amazing, they get to know you and you are not a number. Dr. Mersol-Barg is incredible and took the time to listen to us and believe in us and not give up like another clinic did. I am forever grateful to him and his staff for this blessing.

Today was my last visit to Michigan Reproductive Medicine. The location of the clinic is very beautiful (as well as the clinic itself); this made the drive very relaxing and there wasnt one 6 am blood draw appointment I did not look forward to. We always found something to laugh about that early! You all took common courtesy to an uncommon level and I am grateful that you were able to make my experience with my donor program as smooth as you have. There was always a sense of urgency with my worries about the process, my health, and my needs. Their work is meticulous, a trait that is admirable in everyone.For Dr. Mersol-Barg, Melody, Pam, Twyla, Eva, Kristie, Laura, Renee, Donna, Diane, Chris, and the ladies who helped every step of the retrievals (especially at the front desk), the best way to thank you for your compassion is to recognize the difference every single person here made for me; you have played such an important part and your help won’t be forgotten. Dr. Mersol-Barg was our second doctor we saw, but the moment we met with him we knew he would be the one we moved forward with. He and his staff are some of the most amazing staff I have ever encountered in the medical field. They run their office so efficiently, the longest I ever waited was probably 10 minutes. The staff is all so friendly, from the front desk, to the nurses to Chris, the main person that did my bloodwork - everyone always had something positive to say. Dr. Mersol-Barg took the time to explain our options, processes and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. He always presented the facts and gave suggestions, but never pressured us into anything and was always supportive of our decisions. We have a 2 year old son and another on the way all because of Dr. Mersol-Barg and his staff and we could not be more appreciative of them all. I would HIGHLY recommend Michigan Reproductive to anyone that is needs help with fertility! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We are so thankful for all of the kindness and care given by Dr. Mersol-Barg and the team. We felt supported every step of the way. Dr. Mesol-Barg is a pioneer in the field, one of the very best fertility specialists around, so you are in very good hands. And he is a very good wildlife photographer, so office visit are that much more pleasant! The entire team is very professional, personable and kind. Office visits are short and sweet. I feel compelled to leave a review of this amazing establishment! I dont know where to start! From the very beginning, I knew that Dr. Mersol-Barg and his staff were different--I immediately felt like that I was truly cared for by everyone I encountered at this practice. The encouragement, enthusiasm, kindness and understanding I witnessed at MRM was just not something Ive ever witnessed at any other medical facility or office. I remember telling my husband at the beginning of our journey at MRM that no matter the outcome, I knew I was in the best hands and receiving the best care possible. I have to give a huge shout out to Timesha, Jackie G., and Stephannie! I felt like I was seeing a friend every visit, and I cant express my gratitude towards them enough! And of course... a shout-out to the main man, Dr. Mersol-Barg, who gives the best hugs and is just a top-notch doctor and fertility expert! The journey of fertility is certainly challenging and draining, but if you have to go through it, MRM is your place!

I cannot say enough good things about Michigan Reproductive Medicine!! My husband and I were at another clinic with 5 failed IUIs. We decided to come to MRM in January 2023 and I got pregnant on the first IUI!! Dr. Mersol-Barg and the rest of the staff are incredible. They really do care about you and your needs and were always so prompt to answer all of my many questions. It was an incredible experience with very personalized care. We recommend MRM to anyone struggling with fertility and will certainly be back!! Thank you to each and every staff member at MRM who made our hopes and dreams of becoming parents a reality!

Dr.Mersol-Barg and his staff are some of the most special people I have ever met. The process of IVF is an emotional roller coaster, and without them going on the journey with us I dont know how we could have done it. They go above and beyond to help, assist, and care. I thank god every day for the Dr.Mersol-Barg and staff because without them we wouldnt have our beautiful baby boy. One of the most important aspects of the Michigan Reproductive Medicine office is you never just feel like a statistic or a number. They care deeply about each and every individual patient they see and you can truly feel it. I highly recommend them as they changed our lives forever!

I have my son because of this office. I battled infertility for close to ten years and did not think having a baby was in the cards but decided to come here before giving up. A year after my first consult I had my first positive pregnancy test for the miracle baby that I am now holding in my arms. Dr. Mersol-Barg is highly compassionate and experienced. He puts you at ease. He is the best doctor I have ever seen. The staff is the most organized I have ever dealt with at a Dr’s office. They made all those early morning appointments bearable and sometimes even enjoyable. I could not recommend them enough. Please don’t give up if you are battling infertility. There is hope.

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Mersol-Barg and his entire office staff to help us through such a difficult time in our lives. We met with multiple fertility specialists not only in the local area but out of state as well, and by far Dr. Mersol-Barg was the most thorough, informative and compassionate out of all of them. As we went through our process with Dr. Mersol-Barg’s office we had many questions and absolutely loved the patient portal that the office offered; we can tell you that the responses to our questions on the portal were very timely and put our mind at ease many, many times. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Mersol-Barg and everyone at MRM. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and seems happy to be working here. We really appreciated how Dr. Mersol-Barg kept us informed of the entire process of what was happening and what to expect.I came to MRM because my husband and I have been trying to have a second child, but I have been struggling with PCOS. I really wasnt sure if there was much that could be done to help us, going in. However, Dr. Mersol-Barg was very optimistic about our chances. After getting off the wait list (which was 3 months for us, but you can also request to get in sooner if they have any cancellations) we immediately started a course of medications with hormone injections and timed intercourse. We luckily got pregnant in our second cycle of trying and are currently 17 weeks along!I really enjoyed our experience here, not just because we were able to get pregnant so quickly, but because the staff took such good care of us. I never waited in the waiting room for longer than 5 minutes; it seems like they are very attentive to making sure that you are in and out of the office relatively quickly. And again, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On one occasion, the doctor decided to up my dose of the hormone injection on a Saturday; I would have had trouble getting to the office before they closed. One of the staff members was kind enough to drive out to my house and drop it off for me - not many doctors offices would be willing to do something like that.I would recommend this office to anyone and if my husband and I decide to try for another child eventually, we will definitely be back here.

My husband and I have had nothing but great experiences with MRM. The staff is top notch, the Nurses are awesome and such a comfort to us during difficult times, and Dr. Mersol Barg is the most caring and compassionate Doctor you’ll find. If not for the encouragement of everyone here, we likely would have given up on treatments. There is no sales pitch or pressure like you’ll find with other offices in the area, Dr. Mersol Barg and staff truly want their patients to succeed, we have always felt like they have our backs, and our best interests in mind. We just welcomed a little girl in May thanks to MRM, and hopefully we’ll be able to continue to grow our family with their help and expertise!

Dr. Mersol-Barg is not only treats you like a patient, but also as a friend. He is very kind-spirited, compassionate, and attentive. He takes time getting to know you, and answers any and all questions you have. I brought my foster baby during visits and he and the staff were so sweet and played with him. The office is amazing and clean, the staff, and the other doctor as well. The most exciting times were getting ultrasounds early in my pregnancy and how excited Dr MB was for us! We highly recommend MRM!!! They are supportive and hold infertility groups as well!

I really appreciate how caring and understanding the entire staff has been, and how patient theyve been while explaining things. The doctor was very helpful in the beginning going through all the options with us, and the staff was very flexible with scheduling to be able to work around my work schedule. Were very thankful and were very happy they were able to help us to successfully conceive.

Im not sure how to write this without crying or writing a novel, so Ill do my best to summarize the God-Send that is Dr. Mersol-Barg and his most spectacular staff. After years of trying and an insanely horrible experience at another local Bloomfield Hills fertility clinic, I was referred to Dr. Mersol-Barg. From my 1st encounter sobbing to the front desk about scheduling a last minute IUI (Annie, I love you!) they knew how to speak to a woman going through fertility issues. They knew and understood the stress, the emotion, the time-sensitivity of it all and made me feel SO assured, calm, and positive I was in the right place. Whatever your issue, whatever process you choose to proceed with (IUI, IVF, etc), all of them can be extremely scary to understand and proceed with. You may be personally conflicted, or feel like you’re playing God, scared, worried, it’s endless. But the entire staff was beyond empathetic, giving me as much time as I needed, asking as many questions as I needed, explaining everything fully so I felt comfortable.Our consult with Dr. Mersol-Barg felt like we had known him forever. He is brilliant, he his compassionate, he is confident. He is truly a God-Send. This entire office became our family during our IVF cycle (Timesha, Stephanie, Audrey, Jackie, Diane, Laura, Chris, and the others Im missing, WE LOVE YOU! You are forever our family!) The staff was so compassionate, so intelligent, so in touch personally with me. I felt perfectly cared for at every step of the process (and when you go through IVF you are in the office A LOT). They blessed us with our greatest gift of our lives, our beautiful baby boy. We are insanely grateful to them and would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this most spectacular, miraculous office for any and all fertility needs. I literally sobbed my eyes out on our “Graduation Day”. We are so grateful for this office and everything they have done for us. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable (and very LGBTQ+ friendly!!!), and I dont think Ive felt more comfortable in a medical setting. They answered every single question we had, they helped us through multiple IVF attempts, and they were always kind, caring and understanding. My partner is especially grateful for how comfortable they made me feel comfortable when they couldnt always attend appointments. Thank you!

Not enough good words in the dictionary to describe the excellent care, fabulous staff and phenomenal doctor at this clinic. They are the most amazing team! We are SO grateful for all their effort into taking care of our family! No way to express our gratitude, but must say thank you anyway! :). In case you do not know, there is the most wonderful support group here AND you do not need to be a patient at this clinic to take advantage of the VERY excellent nurse and doctor run monthly support group. They are just the BEST medical team at what they do and then some!

Absolutely amazing! Dr. Mersol Barg is incredibly kind and intelligent, he takes time and truly cares for his patients. I found MRM when looking for a support group and ended up becoming a patient after talking with Dr. Mersol Barg at a group session. I am now 6 months pregnant after dealing with PCOS and fertility issues for 2 years!! The care for detail in the care MRM provides truly makes all the difference and made my dream come true. There are no words to express how truly grateful I am.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC DUE TO FRONT OFFICE STAFF. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Mersol-Barg specifically, but some of his office staff were absolutely inappropriate with their behavior toward my husband and I. Working for a fertility clinic, the staff SHOULD be the most caring and empathetic people as this process is extremely stressful and heart wrenching. After 3 miscarriages, I became pregnant in Nov 2021 and my husband came with me to the first ultrasound, no issues. 2 Weeks later, we came back for the next ultrasound (where we should see a heartbeat) and the front office staff would not let my husband come in for the ultrasound. The front office manager refused to let my husband in the room, even though I was clearly sobbing and upset trying to explain my PTSD from previous pregnancies and that this would be the first time we ever see a heartbeat. All of my pregnancies have failed and I needed my husband for emotional support. The office manager continued to downplay my miscarriages saying how common they are and compared her own miscarriage to mine, saying that her husband wasn’t with her when she had one at work. Her husband not being there, and my husband being told he can’t be with me are two very different things.Then, a nurse literally took me by the arm and pulled me back to a room by myself and made my husband exit the clinic. She started taking my vitals when I was clearly still sobbing! Of course she couldn’t get an accurate blood pressure, the machine was beeping uncontrollably and she tried 3 times and gave up. While I was crying and could barely get any words out, she is acting like nothing is happening and asking me basic questions (are you taking your prenatal vitamins etc.) with no empathy whatsoever. She gave me the sheet to undress for the ultrasound and left the room. There was literally no support or empathy from this staff, so I left with no ultrasound because I couldn’t bear the news alone if it was bad due to PTSD. After this experience, NOBODY called me to see what happened. I would have expected Dr Mersol-Barg or Audrey contact me since they were responsible for my care.Fast forward a few days later, I was able to get in with my regular OB for an ultrasound where of course she allowed my husband in the room. THERE WAS NO HEARTBEAT. Had I actually done my ultrasound at Mersol-Bargs office the few days before, I would have been completely by myself for this news as they forced my husband to leave the clinic!! I absolutely DO NOT recommend coming to this office for the front office staff alone! Save yourself the anguish and go to a different clinic where they actually care about what you’re going through

Me and my husband had such a good experience at Michigan Reproductive Medicine. We were trying for a year & half. Before this clinic we had a bad experience with a different clinic. When I lost hope and I thought I would never be pregnant it worked. All thanks to Dr Mersol-Barg & there friendly staff. Three IUI is all it took at this new clinic i am 12 weeks pregnant and so far a healthy pregnancy. I would definitely recommend going to this clinic. Thank you for helping my dreams of becoming a mom come true!

AVOID THIS OFFICE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN!! Both the doctor and the manager are rude and disconnected from what compassionate quality medical care is. I agree with the previous review that “it’s like hiring someone based on their resume and interview, they appear great on paper but useless after the day you hire them”. We also did not walk out with a baby, and too felt like our treatment plan was a “cookie cutter approach” and the doctor didn’t seem to be at all interested in changing anything even after 3 failed cycles I was told simply “should have worked” (Dr. Mersol’s words). It also became very evident that the clinic only doesn’t care about the emotional roller coaster that comes with multiple failed outcomes as they simply leave a that basically reads” Your cycle failed better luck next time” in your patient portal with no explanation as to why? I was literally depressed and didn’t leave my bedroom for a month from the depression this caused. I finally worked up the nerve to attempt another session and the office manager was extremely rude to me on my egg retrieval throwing papers at me and sighing loudly due to tardiness this appointment which is a direct result of the residual PTSD and apprehension with the office and their lack of empathy. I also had been working to keep my high blood down for the for egg retrieval. I simply let Alyssa know that I did not want to deal with anyones attitude. I felt threatened and embarrassed as this took place in front of office staff and other patients. I breakdown in full fledge tears and have severe anxiety before EVERY visit due to the failures I’ve experienced! I was NEVER spoken to about tardiness before this event. I was later contacted by Dr. Mersol and Alyssa for an immediate meeting and then discharged from the practice. After first FET failure I wanted to root cause the failure, and do additional testing, since we are paying for it, it should’ve been a non issue, but we were talked out of it as they are “non value add”, more so no additional testing was offered. After each failed attempt we were told to take a few months off to cool down and basically do the same thing for the next transfer. THIS OFFICE does not care if your cycle fails or the emotions that follow those aren’t important, depression, hopelessness, and the drained pockets patients experience is of no concern to them. I was NEVER contacted directly or never recommended to any mental health professional to process my feelings after each failed cycle. Empathy does not exist here. Definitely Heartbreaking and sad to realize the world we live in allows doctors to treat you like just a dollar sign and won’t see you as human when you’re going through something awful and life changing, instead of assisting you are discharged from the practice!

I cant say enough about the team at Michigan Reproductive Medicine, my husband and I are truly thankful for the care and assistance we received after more than three years of trying to start our family. We moved to Michigan last summer, from Texas, where wed gone through testing and a few medicated cycles, only to be told our next step was IVF. Fortunately, our move brought us to the area and provided us the ability to find Dr. Mersol Barg and his team. From the start we had a clear understanding of our plan and the process that would take place. Dr. Mersol-Barg will not hesitate to take the time to explain everything to you and make you genuinely feel like youre getting the best care around. We werent immediately directed to IVF, but instead (using the previous tests plus additional ones) decided to try IUI. Well, it worked! We are currently 18 weeks pregnant with a little boy. If youre looking for a team of patient, kind, and honest nurses with an AMAZING doctor, dont look any further.

My husband and I used this office to help successfully conceive our first child about 2 yrs ago. Now we returned for #2. I literally just finished my iui cycle today, and couldnt be more happy with the care given both times. This second time was more complicated, but they walked me through it very thoroughly. Special thank you to Timesha, she went the extra mile numerous times and really was there for me during this exciting, yet emotionally & physically difficult (and lets be honest, because partners are not allowed to be part of it due to Covid still, it can be lonely) adventure. Regardless of the outcome, Thank you!

My wife and I never had any issues conceiving. However, we wanted a son due to the lack of males in my family. We came to this clinic to do gender selection via IVF. All our numbers were well over what is required for pregnancy. The embryo was of AA status and we were reassured that we should have no issues. Months and $17,000 later my wife has her first miscarriage. This was not worth my time nor money. Now they want to do several blood tests and an ultrasound. I feel like this is just more methods to bleed us financially.

My wife and I are cystic fibrosis carriers. Which means we had to go through IVF to ensure a healthy child. Dr. Mersol-Barg at Michigan Reproductive Medicine is in the process of making our dreams come true of having a healthy child through the IVF process. Michigan Reproductive Medicine has been absolutely amazing thus far. This needs to be your #1 choice hands down for an IVF provider. Words can’t explain how grateful my family and I for this place. We just got a phone call from the doctor informing us we have 3 healthy embryos on Christmas! Talk about an amazing doctor who cares about his patients, calling them on Christmas!****On a side note::: We had gone to another IVF provider called IVF Michigan previous to Michigan Reproductive Medicine and had a nightmare experience that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.Trust me this place is amazing! It also became very evident that the clinic only cares about their successful outcomes, which outweighs the negatives when on Christmas they brutally posted asking their patients to share their miracles, completely unaware and tone deaf how it would impact women who just received the news their cycle failed (12/17/2020), and when my husband and I both commented on the post brutality, we were simply silenced and dismissed by deleting out comments. After my egg retrieval I learned they couldn’t get to my left ovary, you’d think additional tests would be ordered to learn more about the condition, but no. After first FET failure I wanted to root cause the failure, and do additional testing, since we are paying for it, it should’ve been a non issue, but we were talked out of ERA and receptivaDX as they are “non value add”, more so no additional testing was offered. But instead we were told to take 3 months off to cool down and basically do the same thing for the next transfer. The only thing changed, we had to remove estrogen from my protocol, as it was giving my aura migraines. I was so uneasy about that knowing so darn well, that this isn’t right but the doctor asked me to trust him... and here we are second and final failure. We started progesterone before I even ovulated, which is odd... But they told me to trust the process, and I didn’t. All five days before my transfer I was terrified that this is wrong and was I right about it, which hurts even more to know the negligence behind this fail. Ohh and do you think we heard from the clinic since our failure?!? NOPE a because they’ve shown very clearly they care only about successful outcomes and those that fail aren’t important, their broken hearts and crushed dreams, and spent money is no longer MRM’s issue. Heartbreaking to realize you’re just a number and a dollar figure when you’re going through something terribly awful and life changing. After 6 years of infertility I didn’t think that this how the end of the road look for us.

Wonderful staff, very clean facility, very organized, everything is thoroughly explained, online portal is easy to navigate and their timeliness with appointments is impeccable! The whole journey was very intimidating and scary and the entire team at MI Reproductive med was caring and made me feel comfortable ❤️

Amazing team! They provide Individualized care for every patient that walks through the door. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the patients are cared for efficiently and compassionately.

If you want to help a couple that can’t conceive, don’t come here. They take over three months to get everything done if you donate your eggs. A woman named Pam was very rude and disrespectful to me. She didn’t help to assure me on the questions or concerns I had. This was the worst experience I’ve had at any professional medical office. I suggest that you go somewhere else.

They are your best option. A professional environment that makes you feel heard and supported. My advice is to give them a call and start as soon as you can. The process takes a while, but all worth it in the end.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. Warm and friendly staff. Very informed You can tell the doctor is very passionate and involved in his practice.

I have a good question me and my boyfriend would like to conceive a baby boy but we would like to know how much that will coast to go throw the IVF plan to conceive a baby boy ❤️
