Im lucky that this is right by my new house. The solv app makes it crazy easy to book an appt and keep your place in line for treatment, but theyre always so efficient that theres never much of a wait. The PA I saw today, Sandra, was knowledgeable above and beyond. Im always pleased with the practicioners at either off the locations Ive been to.
Love this urgent care! Everyone is always for friendly and helpful. My issues are always addressed in a kind and considerate manner. Hate that this location is closing soon. It’s definitely a gem
The people were pleasant but told me I was having an allergic reaction to something and gave me a steroid shot. I told them I didn’t think that’s what it was but said I would trust them. My throat is still swollen. I still have trouble breathing and the shot did absolutely nothing. If this is beyond there medical capabilities I wish they would have sent me to someone who can. I hope there is a solution somewhere because it is just getting worse every day.
Was asked what pharmacy and told them. Was sent to the wrong one after specifying. Called to tell them it was wrong and the girl on the phone said she would call and have it changed. Went to pick it up and was told they didn’t have it and went to another store. The staff member that was supposed to call and change it didn’t. I’ll also add that this isn’t our first negative experience here. The nurse was good but it’s not worth all the rest of the issues for one good part of the visit. We won’t be going back.
Been coming here for a few years. Usually have had a good experience, short waits, and compassionate staff. Today, showed up at 7:45am for my sons 8am appointment - like I was told. Doors locked. At 8am (when they show they open), I began knocking on the door and calling their phone - NO ANSWER. Receptionist drove in and unlocked the door at 8:10am. We were the only people here and did not get taken back to a room until 8:25am. Doctor (PA - no Dr on site) did not come into room until 8:30am. To her credit, I will say the PA was very kind and understanding. What makes the whole thing more frustrating is that NONE of the staff were apologetic about opening late and making us wait so long when we had an appt and were the ONLY people there. Will definitely be on the hunt for a new urgent care.
The only complaint I have is that they are still requiring face masks. If I didn’t need to see someone as bad as I did, I would have left. But, with that being said, I was treated well and was in and out in an hour!
They got my daughter in quickly and did X-rays and told us she definitely broke her arm. Gave us all the detailed info that we needed to get to the specialist. Did an amazing job. We really appreciate the care.
I went to Access Urgent Care about 5:30 yesterday (Friday) afternoon. No dr there, but I did Telehealth & 3 meds were prescribed. I tried to get them yesterday, but orders were not there by the time pharmacy closed. Today (Saturday), the pharmacy still has no orders. So after waiting all morning, I called Access (website says they are open). No answer. So I drove to Access. No one there (even though website and door sign say they are open). I waited an hour and went back. Still no one there & still no orders for my meds. I am so frustrated & I feel terrible. I’ll try again tomorrow, but I’m guessing I’m out of luck til Monday. I wish NO STARS was an option! What terrible customer service!
Nurse and PA were super. The receptionist at the front was border line rude. Texting while doing our intake kept asking if our insurance was active(it was). Then made me call the Ins company to ask, why didn’t she do her job? Instead she just kept checking her phone or texting. When I asked if we could wait in our car we were told no and spent 10min in the waiting room until we were seen. Otherwise the appointment went well.
Called ahead of time to make sure someone would be here was told there would be someone here still @7:30 & my husband needed to be seen he hasn’t felt good all day showed up & doors are locked due to someone in the office (not told it was a doctor that left) having to leave due to an emergency asked if it happened while we were on the way there lady said no so they knew that happened & still told us to come in while I understand that things happen but if I was told ahead of time before I drove there it would have been nice….
Unorganized, unprofessional staff. They showed up to work late. Didnt open the doors until 9:07. Scan in the barcode to get started. After filling in the paperwork I approached to ensure it was received. She said theyre filled up until later that day. I explained that your site says no appointment required. Why would I wait outside 45 minutes to arrive early to be told I need an appointment. And by the way you have to fill out the same exact thing you just filled out again for insurance because she made me an appointment.
Staff was friendly and helpful, but should have just sent me to the ER instead of running unnecessary tests that would be duplicated at the ER. Bruised calf, but we’re going to x ray it then send you to ER for ultrasound for DVT. ? If an x ray was necessary, it could have been done at the ER. Have to have something to bill insurance for I guess🤷♂️
Care still good. The check in is now electronic, and you have to fill everything in before it lets you move on or continue, including taking pics of IDs and insurance cards. If you put the pictures in the wrong place there is no way to fix it. It takes too long, especially if you already have walked in the building excepting to be tended to. There should be people there to check patients in, and a paper option if one desires. I understand electronic check in, if you are planning the visit from home and pre-scheduling the appointment. Not sure the hassle is worth it for urgent or drop in appointments, may look for a new spot. The electronic sign in really takes away from their once great customer service experience that amplified the care one received.
Absolutely amazing service. Took my 1 year old in sick and they went so above and beyond for him and to help him feel comfortable and better! The ladies here were so fantastic! Despite the positive strep test and my kiddo being sick this was such a lovely experience! Ill add, it only took about 30 minutes from walking in to walking out the door. Which with a 1 year old especially a sick cranky 1 year old that was so helpful!
It was fast. The front desk person was not very welcoming at first but was better when leaving.
Been to the Bixby location before with no issues. Not sure what the difference is now. New owners, staff. Dont know. I made an appointment online several days prior, after not being able to speak with anyone on the phone. After taking the day off work for the appointment needed I try the front door. Its locked. At the time of my appointment. The Open sign is on. Go back to my car and click the check in button on the email they had just sent the morning of. Soon after I get a call from the girl inside who says they can not see people there today because there is no Dr for my appointment.I told her this would have been nice to know since I have done everything they have sent me that morning. She goes on to argue with me as she tells me they are open but cant see anyone in person. Again I tell her the door is locked and Im not the only car out here with people waiting to get in. So you are not open.It would be nice if the communication with the patients was better. Sending reminders the evening before. Then asking to confirm 1 hour before and then 30 min before appointment getting text for checking in and paperwork.By the way how and why would someone use a virtual appointment at an Urgent Care? At a Primary Care sure. People dont go to urgent cares to talk virtually.
Very quickly taken care of. I had a very sick kid with strep. They took care of her quickly. Very nice people and u loved the doctor!
My nurse was very sweet and communicated well. She said she had just started there but was very professional and did a great job of making me feel comfortable. The doctor was great too. It was a woman doctor with short brown hair. Did a great job at explaining things.
Would give zero stars if I could! Made an appointment online and drove 35 mins with my sick child just to be told when I got there that they couldnt see him because there was no dr on site to look in his ears. I stated when I made the appointment he had ear pain so why was I not called before driving all that way. Absolutely horrible!
The worst experience ever. Staff was horribly rude and no help at all. Could not find extremely important time sensitive medical records that I needed. And refused to treat me for what I scheduled my appointment for.Would never go here again.
The service is great! I was a bit confused on the check in process, whether we check in inside or on our phones in the car. But other than that, I was in and out in under an hour for my appointment. And as a young adult woman, it was nice to not feel talked down to from a doctor. Everything was made clear to me.
Tests showed Covid positive and X-ray showed pneumonia. Told us to go to ER. After staying 3 1/2 hrs the dr said no pneumonia and no Covid. How could your tests have been so wrong?
I didn’t find out until I got there that they had no doctor on site and it would be a virtual appointment. I can do those from home and not be charged $166. For that price, I definitely expect to see a doctor and I should have been told when I booked online.
The last at the front desk was not very nice, but the dr was outstanding my dr felt safe with her and comfortable. Well Def see her again
I had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me information regarding the reason for my visit. The lab person got me on her first stick. I have a port so I was very impressed at her skill and gentleness during the procedure. I recommend this location. Thanks to the staff who took time to explain the test and for your kindness!!
The 2 receptionists were so friendly and helpful. The nurses were wonderful. Everyone had a smile even at the end of a very long day. I left at 8pm and the receptionist apologized and thanked me for being so nice and so patient with them.
I had a really good experience. The whole visit took an hour and there was no wait time. The doctor who helped me was so nice and friendly. I recommend this place if you need to go to urgent care!
I went in on February 10th and the crew there were amazing. Would I go back yes I would. Thank you ladies for taking great care of me.
Went to access medical center urgent care in Bixby today after I had taken my child to his pediatrician and he needed augmentin. I’ve had a very bronchial sounding productive cough for 3 weeks that’s worse than his and starting to get eye drainage like he has. Also I’m a registered nurse and I know the difference between allergies and something worse. The Nurse Practitioner who was on today just blew me off and said it was allergies and all I need is Benadryl. I have an appointment with my primary care doctor tomorrow and he will prescribe the appropriate medications. I just wish I didn’t waste my time when I am so weak and tired.
The reception staff is really rudeIf I could not give them a star, I would. I dont recommend them if you dont want to waste your time and money.Above all,Their medical treatment doesnt help me get better at all.
I haven’t been to an Urgent Care in years and all I remember is usually not having a great experience. Well that was not the case with my visit to Access. The office staff were so kind from start to finish. I was able to get in and seen quickly. I would definitely recommend them to others.
Had a good experience getting stitches from David Mansfield.. He was great with my 11 year old and very thorough in explaining the procedure to ease his anxiety. I appreciate Doctors that explain well and describe step by step. We like for everything to be a learning experience. Not thrilled that I was handed mandatory masks for myself and all of my kids but was happy not to be harassed when we chose not to wear them.
I’m not one to leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so. After reading the reviews of this place, I decided to take my sick kid here since they opened so early on a Sunday. I made a 9:45 appointment online and am still waiting in the cold waiting room with apparently no heat at 10:35. It’s 35 degrees out. There appears to be a heater plugged in, but it’s not turned on of course. It’s dark with no blinds open or any of the lamps turned on. There’s one tv and it’s been nothing but preachers. I decided to leave and go to a different urgent care. There’s at least one other person in front of me and everyone else that has gone in to the urgent care hasn’t come out.
I was cared for at the location in Bixby, OK over Memorial day weekend. WOW, What a great experience! Friendly staff had me in and out in 2 hours. They were so respectful and listened to my concerns. I was feeling better in two days. As a healthcare professional, I was really impressed. I will use them again when I dont need an ER and cannot get into my primary physician. Thank you Access Medical Center!!
The PA Ryan is terrific. He ordered test that were promptly done. Gave excellent care and was very thorough! We had a great experience considering my daughter is not feeling well. The front office was quick to get her checked in. We will definitely be back.
Such a pleasant place to come to when you don’t feel like going anywhere or dealing with anyone. I have to say I drove around for over an hour trying to find somewhere to take my daughter who hasn’t felt well and I’m glad I found this place! Everyone was so nice and really seem to enjoy helping us!! We were in and out and didn’t have to wait!! I will definitely return in the future it was better than having to spend hours waiting at the doctors office and dealing with a million people in the waiting room!! Thank you for being so wonderful today we appreciate it so much
The staff is very friendly and the Dr. We saw was so great with my child! We always have a great experience with any location we have been to! Only urgent care we will use!
I was seen at Green County Urgent Care on Saturday morning. I was back in less than 10 minutes. Front desk staff was very nice, nurse was great. Taylor the PA was fantastic. She was kind and compassionate, listened to me and worked with me on my medications. I will go back whenever I have an urgent care need. Highly recommend
Dr-If you are having chest pains Im gonna call ambulance to take you to the ERDr-We dont do blood work at this facilityNurse-While still putting on chest pads (Not during test) phone rings, move to turn phone off and get DONT MOVE After starting EKG test and 4 mins of phone buzzing, her replacing 3 different body sensors and EKG machine showing her issues I get asked to turn my phone off its interfering with test!Dr-Sorry we were out of line, we had a difficult patient before youNaaaa they have difficult patients because they are rude and abrasive. This is why men choose to stay home and be sick rather than deal with medical staff.PS Took 2 tries to draw the bloodwork they dont do... and before you say tattoos, that was the successful arm!
My daughter and I were in and out in just over half an hour. Ive rarely had such a pleasant experience! Everyone was so kind and personable; front desk, nurse and PA. Its a little further than I wanted to drive but the Access Medical Center that was closest to me just so happened to not be open on Mondays! Im thankful they werent now, after reading their reviews and having such a nice visit at the Bixby location. Id rather drive here. Definitely recommend!
So thankful for this location! The staff at front desk and Maria was phenomenal with her sparkling personality. She instantly made me feel better. the PA was extremely profession and addressed all of concerns! Thank you!
Went in for a COVID test and explained that my husband was positive earlier in the week but wasnt now. He had tested positive on Monday, after being sick for a few days and then negative on Friday. The tech told me that was impossible and he would test positive for months.I immediately felt uncomfortable and was worried that the people there would have no idea what they were doing. I was upset because I had to drive over 40 miles to find a place where I could get tested.Past that, the experience was great. Didnt even take 15 minutes. And the PA-C I spoke to was wonderful.
I was sent to Access by my primary doc who couldnt get me in for an appointment. I was met and treated with professionalism and respect. Dr. Rachel was very thorough, kind and just plain nice all around. Even though I cant remember my nurses name - she made me feel safe and at ease. I highly recommend Access Medical Center.
Messed up records multiple times on my daughter and I. Billed me when my daughter has soonercare, because they claim could not find a record of hee in the system. This is even though dentists and doctors have found my daughter in the system. They have failed to get back to me on things and I would have to call multiple times.
My wait time was an hour and a half (past my appointment time). Staff and facilities were clean and friendly. But I’d rather have someone yelling at me and not have to wait so long. Total time in the clinic: >3.5 hours.Update: out of the 6 lab test I asked to be ordered, 1 wast lost and another was run for the wrong test. I’m never coming back.
Not sure Id go back for COVID related symptoms. The staff were really nice but the doctor didnt offer me any antiviral meds which is suggested for high risk folks who are experiencing mild covid symptoms. Instead she said they didnt work and were expensive. I had to go to another appointment with another provider who gave me a script and the meds were free! To try to implement a wait and see approach for an individual who is considered high risk, is NOT the appropriate covid management style.
The front office staff was very friendly and the doctor was quick. Both things are a blessing when you don’t feel well. The Doctor, Dr. Dan, was probably the most friendly and helpful doctor that I have ever seen. His bedside manner was amazing. I definitely recommend seeing him.
Today my Husband, Peter was having congestion symptoms, & We needed to have Him be seen by a Practitioner. Bixby Axis is closest to Our Home, so We went Up there as a walk in. We were met by such kind Ladies, Ashley, & Heather, @ the check in desk, & then quickly taken care of by Makenzie, Then Nurse Practitioner, Kelly. We were treated so special! We are so Thankful For Axis Healthcare, & High recommended them! God Bless all of these wonderful Caring people!
The staff were super nice and polite. My test took just a few minutes extra but the super nice nurse explained they were a bit backed up and it wasn’t too long even at that. Results in hand in a timely manner, it was a pleasant experience. I would use this place again.
I have been to this office once before and the visit was good but this time it was different. You could see that they really cared and wanted to help you feel better. I came to the office on 8/18/18 The staff was so awesome and made me feel so comfortable. They new I felt horrible and started to treat me right away. They even gave me a good laugh due to the fact I needed it. I will be coming back to this office in the future if I need the care.I would like to Thank the office staff this day for doing a great job!
I sat here in line for three hours! I watched as people came in and decided there was better places to go. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, I would of left myself if I would of had a choice tonight. Ive definitely had far better service from other places in the past. The only person I can give credit to was the nurse, she did a great job.
They were awesome. I came in with only minutes left of them being open one evening. And they still took me back there and checked out what was wrong and then treated me and. I was impressed with their commitment to treat and make sure I was okay.
I was very pleased with the service here. From the time I made my appointment and did my paperwork online, I was able to be seen, tested, and treated in under 90 minutes. I was in pain at the time, so the quick turnaround was very important.
I went in for a Covid test and starting at the reception desk and then onto the nurse and then in with the PA Everyone was wonderful. In my experience finding a medical facility that treats you kindly and makes your experience a good one is sadly a rarity now a days. I wasn’t feeling well but they made it a pleasure for me to be there. I hardly ever give feedback but felt like finding a place where everyone was kind and friendly deserved for me to do so. Unfortunately I tested positive for Covid but at-least everything else about my visit was Great!
Amazing rotational staff! Everyone has a GREAT bedside manner (for Urgent Care). Very thoughtful of injuries and pain sites. Also, had to come back for suture removal....worked with my child during discomfort. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Bixby staff!
Working in Healthcare Quality I have high standards. I appreciated the providers professionalism and caring attitude towards me, the whole staff from front to back was friendly and thorough. I felt cared for and not rushed I will definitely recommend and return. Thank you. Oh and I love being able to schedule ahead of time, when your not feeling well the last thing you want to do is sit around in a lobby waiting to be seen.
Ive been to this facility for myself, my husband and each of our three boys. They are professional and they took very good care of us. I refer people there all the time. My youngest son was there on his second birthday, he had pneumonia, they gave him a teddy bear for his birthday! They are compassionate and conscientious. Will return there as needed!
The receptionist went the extra mile by having me email her some forms that I forgot and printing them off. They got us in quickly and did my daughters sports physical well. All for only $25! They are always kind and competent here
Everyone was very friendly. I was the only patient there when I arrived, and it still took close to an hour to get in and out. However, both the nurse and PA were attentive and quick once I was brought back to an exam room.
Great urgent care clinic. I am a Veteran and had to be seen immediately, so could not use my VA Clinic as they had no openings. The staff was helpful, kind and caring, and the wait to be seen was just a few minutes. The PA, David, was careful, courteous, and thorough in his examination. Overall, I would highly recommend this clinic to any Veterans needing emergency care.
Where to begin. 😡 This should be a ZERO STAR. We had a morning appointment where we were never greeted then had to wait in the lobby. The place was empty. The receptionist is a joke. She had us fill out new patient papers when we had been to a facility before but she just couldn’t find it. She was unfriendly and very very unprofessional. Once we were called back the nurse (who should not have came to work today) was coughing through the whole vitals and history portion of the visit. The PA that saw us however was a bit friendlier than everyone else. We needed to e-mail some papers for them to fill out so I went upfront to the not so professional receptionist where she was on her cell phone on a personal call while I waited what seemed to be forever for her to have to search for their e-mail (Which she should have known being the receptionist). The whole time we were there no other patients came in. Our whole visit took 2 hours for them just to say that it is viral and that it needs to run its course. DO NOT COME to this location.
Great Doctors and Nurses!! My only complaint is their front desk receptionist really needs to be more personable. On todays visit and our last one, I mentioned I tried to check in on the app and it wouldnt let me and she immediately just said Oh well its probably because we dont have availability today. I told her we had an appt. She should ask if we have an appt upon arrival instead of assuming we dont. This being an urgent care, youve got sick people walking in all day every day so you would think that front desk person would be a little more personable and welcoming. She seems swamped and too busy for you every time we have to visit.
Took my oldest for a reaction to poison ivy. They were willing to see him just moments before they closed. Very kind and understanding.
Great service from the front desk to the doctor I saw. I was greeted when I walked in. And even helped me when I was having problems with my insurance. Definitely would recommend
The Access Medical team went above and beyond for my 20 month old daughter tonight. We had been turned away from 4 urgent care centers due to being full the night before Thanksgiving. My daughter had an ear infection so I was blown away that no one would take 3 minutes to look in my daughters ear. The Access Medical team stayed 15 minutes after close to make sure we were taken care of. My daughter and I are so grateful. Thank you Access Medical!
This clinic is awesome, they are very professional. There is really never a long wait to be seen by a doctor. VA friendly.
Terrible experience doctors contradicting each other. First doctor I saw seemed great but when I had follow up questions completely unreachable. Calling number listed goes to a national call center which the message apparently disappeared into the either. Tried to get help via their online method which was equally worthless. As suggested by their online doctor to go in and see them in person only to be told by the doctor that was there they couldn’t help I would need to go speak to my Primary Care Physician.I would not recommend!
Took my son in tonight. The doctor was very nice. She talked to us and took great care of my him. All employees were polite and no problems.
The receptionist at this Urgent Care’s front desk lied and said the copay was $130 when my son’s insurance card clearly states $75 (no referral needed and in/out network).Me to her: my husband just went to this same urgent care yesterday but different location and was not required to pay that price. Her: oh they just told us we need to start collecting that amount.Me to her: That doesn’t sound rightAlso me: went to another Urgent Care that WAS out of network and paid $75.Something doesn’t sound right about this whole situation. Did I miss something? Also, insurance has confirmed that the information she gave was inaccurate. The facility has been reported to the insurance company. Please beware if you’re black or brown your presence may be unwelcomed with a higher copay. I also found it she did the same thing to another mom friend of mine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Such a nice place. My second time. He listened. Told me what he would do if I checked in. He was very easy to talk to. He ran a few tests determined I had UTI. Prescribed meds and told me to see or call nurse. at my regular dr today but haven’t had luck on that. I liked him and nurse
Have been a couple of times. Very nice staff. Quick service. And they always call the next day to follow-up. We did see one doctor who was kind of short with us, but overall we like them.
I just took my kids here to get their Flu Shots and we had the best experience! First time ever, no tears! Melinda was so sweet up front, Nate was so helpful and made my kids feel so comfortable! We will definitely be back!
DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be shuffled in and out like cattle as fast as possible without any real regard for your concerns. I brought my three children in after we were in a car accident as my eight-month-old daughter was acting anxious and stressed out and my three-year-old was complaining of stomach pain. The doctor didnt do anything more than what a nurse should have done and barely looked at my infant. Total waste of time. Ive made follow-up appointments with a different clinic and hopefully theyll take the time to make sure my kids are okay. The doctor and staff were polite enough but the place was shabby and rundown and, like I said, we didnt receive any real care. Definitely wont be coming back here.
My visit here was fine. The service was great, the doctor and staff were friendly. However, when I got my bill I was shocked. Sometime in the last year, they have significantly increased their prices. The cost just to be seen (pre insurance) was $260 (plus and additional $45 for my strep test which I thought was normal). This is at least 60% more than the last time I visited. My insurance has not changed and the discount was similar to what it has been in the past only now my bill is $215 vs $100-125 in the past. Unfortunately this means I will not be coming back. I can go to ANY other urgent care in the area and only pay half as much.
I was able to get immediate medical appointment for bad ankle sprain. Wait time at the facility was less than ten minutes from arrival. Great medical staff, very thorough examination process.I highly recommend Access Medical.
The ladies at Urgent Care were very nice to me. I didnt wait long and they were very understanding of my not having insurance, even working with me to find the right medicines that I could afford and helping me find a pharmacy where I could get my antibiotics at a reduced price. They were very kind and the clinic had a good atmosphere.
First time coming here, and I must say being sick every one was fast and they seen me felt like right away. The staff was very professional and patient with me. The doctor seen me right away and was kind and knew exactly what was going on, and they sent my prescription right over, I didnt even have to wait long being sick with the flu. Thank you so much for helping me three this Holiday season!.
The staff was caring and attentive to my condition. They were prompt in sending my prescription to the pharmacy which I really appreciated as I wasnt feeling good at all. Overall a great experience and will go back but hopefully not soon!
I need med medical clearance. I googled “medical clearance for surgery near me” Access medical was the first urgent care that came up. I called on Monday January 25th, 2021, to ask them if they were able to provide me with the medical clearance for surgery as well as the EKG and Chest X-ray needed for surgery. The young lady that answered the phone was very sweet and professional. She explained everything and ensured me that Access Medical was able to perform the medical clearance needed. I asked her to be sure since she scheduled my appointment for the Friday following and my clearance was needed by Tuesday of the next week. She again ensured I had nothing to worry about. She also told my how much out of pocket cost would be, test included, as well as a care plan that they offered. I get there today at 12:30, check in, and the front receptionist calls management, who in turn contacts regional management, who then advises me (while completing paperwork) that Access Medical does not complete Medical Clearance for surgery. Then she goes on to ask “are you sure you contacted access medical?” I advised her that my scheduled appointment was created by a member of your staff. She was obviously able to see the appointment, therefore, I contacted the correct place. Then she says, “you may have spoke with our call center.” I then advised her that, I went to their site and clicked on their phone number. The lady that answered never informed me that she was with a call. However, she did inform and ensure me that I had nothing to worry about and that Access Medical could indeed do everything I needed. The staff there acted as if Medical Clearance was a foreign language and said they absolutely do not provide Medical Clearance for surgery. This place really needs to communicate information with all their staff. It’s crazy how I can call every other Access Medical and they say they will provide it but this location in Bixby advises differently.
Sports physical was great! Very professional & quick! Office staff & PA were super nice & made my son feel comfortable! Plus, it was $25 & well worth it!
Very friendly reception staff. Entire facility was clean. Per COVID-19, waiting was in my vehicle. Wait time was very nice. The PA there is very knowledgeable and nice.I would definitely recommend.
Very nice and professional people in the front and back office. The wait time was minimal and got test results back the same night. I just went for a Covid test and got in and out and called back quickly with results. I would recommend anyone needing urgent care services to go here.
My Insurance told me this was the closest to my location and also a Rapid Covid test would require no copay. Tried to call 3 different times but they never answer. Drove to the location to ask about a getting a rapid covid test. The lady working their must hate her job. When i asked her about the free test she said. Nothing is FREE! She said it was something like $125.00. Thats when i left.
Everyone was very professional and nice. We received quick service and thorough explanation of our options. We’ve been here several times and have always had a good experience.
Very efficient! The check in process was very simple by app and the wait time was not long. Courtney, NP was very thorough and explained everything. I would certainly go to this urgent care again in the future.
Everyone one was completely hospitable. I didnt have to wait long and the PA was very thorough and caring -- she actually listened to what Isaid. New medical experience for me.5 stars plus folks! Thanks for helping me. 🙂
They didn’t go brain surfing. So that was nice. Within 18 min I had my results. I also had the option to send my results out to be verified. Will most definitely be back if/when I need to be seen again!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. But I especially want to commend the PA, Megan: she prescribed some medication I was desperate to get started on, but the pharmacy was about to close and did not have the exact dosage prescribed. The pharmacist called Access to see if the doctor would approve a different dose. Megan was reportedly in with a patient, but when the pharmacist said they were closing, Megan took the time to approve the change and bail me out. Most grateful!
They were friendly, fast, and patient. The care for my grandpa was very important because of how critical any minor thing can be for his age. He is doing fine and on his way to recovery 👏!
Amazed how quickly I was in and out of there. I came in with severe knee pain, looking for something just to help with the pain or healing process. The best part of my experience though was when I was waiting to be called back.I had given the lady at the front desk my insurance and ID card and sat down. I few minutes later, she came all the way around to where I was sitting to give me my cards back so I wouldnt have to get up (knowing my knees were hurting), instead of calling me over, like what normally happens. It was a small gesture, but a nice one.Going back to see the doctor was quick and painless. She checked my knees, made sure no obvious tears or breaks, and then gave me some pointers on how to expedite the healing process and wrote me a script. No unnecessary steps or anything like that. It was nice.Hope I dont need urgent care in the future, but if I do, I know where Ill be going.
Care is very good so no issues here and recommend. However, payment policy a bit disappointing given had staples put in on Saturday...one came loose on Sunday...back for them to check and had to pay an additional co-pay. This seems a bit excessive given just needed to be sure the original work was in tact and ok.Work/care is a 5, but all said with this policy...3 at best.
The staff and medical team have been some of the kindest most professional medical team I have seen function. My son was very sick and we had just moved to Bixby he was taken as a patient and they took his illness personal, I seen the care part of Health Care here. Not many places I have found hold such a high bar for care. Thank you guys for what you do. I do hope you see more appreciation for what you have to deal with daily than not.
Every time my wife and I have been here previously we have had a wonderful experience, however this time was the exact opposite. The PA on duty Richard Wagner was the rudest medical professional that I have ever been around. He had a very rude attitude , did not listen to what me and my wife had to say, and was trying to rush us out of the door. He also just stood right in front of the door (a big distance away from the medical bed where we are to sit) the whole time and did not even care about why I was there( he just kept cutting us off and giving quick one word answers). His lack of compassion was disrespectful. If you dont have compassion, or show care about your patients well being AT ALL then you should not be in the medical field. He acted as if we were a burden, and will not be returning if he is on duty,
The team was quick and responsive. I was in and out for my Covid test. They also offered information relating to payment methods since I’m currently paying out-of-pocket!Rachel, who administered my test, was very pleasant and helpful.
Don’t bother coming here for a Covid-19 test. They tell you 3-5 days but it’s been a week and I’m still waiting. Have tried calling to receive an update since I am VERY sick and pregnant to try to get an update, and nothing. Left a voicemail and guess what? NOTHING. just called and the lady who answered was super rude, cut me off and said “I’ll call and let you know and basically just hung up. My OB does not know how to treat me properly until I get the results back and it bothers me that nobody cares.
Access Urgent Care in Bixby has the best of everything! The minute you walk in to get checked in , you feel comfortable and welcome. I went in for pain associated with my knee and the receptionist was so thoughtful of my injury that she waited until my name was called to be seen to give my insurance card back so I didnt have to get back up twice. My visit with the doctor ,whose name was David , waa very thorough. I had to have x-rays taken and the assistant was spot on getting it done expeditiously. VERY SHORTLY after xrays I was consulted on the results and instructed on my my next steps for recovery. Ive taken my daughter there a few times.previously and you get quality service with no waiting time to speak of and walk out feeling assured . I have reccomended ACCESS URGENT CARE to all I know and even those I dont. Please continue to keep accelerating your quality care and service for a long time to come. My daughter and I feel BLESSED to have been led to such an extraordinary health care facility. Thank You for easing my mind and being the best at what you do!!!!
After suffering for a migraine for over a week, I reluctantly went to this urgent care while out of town. From the time I walked in the door until the time I left I felt cared about. The PA listened closely to what I told him and took his time with me. I was in and out in under 45 mins. I was impressed overall and the migraine was gone by the evening!
I came here for a random drug test for my company. After waiting two hours, they collected my sample. Today I found out they marked my sample incorrectly as a pre-employment test and did not submit my sample with the correct personal information. The sample also leaked in transit so it was not sealed correctly. This test is invalid. The doctor was nice enough, but they wasted half of my day without any results. Very disappointed. Do not get your drug tests done here.
They were wonderful! I had to come in close to closing due to getting off work, and they were still so friendly and ready to help even though it was past close by the time I left. They addressed all my concerns and went above and beyond!
Nice staff, close location, got people in and out. However, me nor my daughter felt the provider believed me when I said I still couldnt hear. Although she was nice, I went in with more hope than I left with..:(
I have been here several times over the years and it’s always great.
Ryan Nussbaum PA-C is one of the most thorough and caring PA’s I’ve ever interacted with. He took great care of my son and we were in and out in such a short time. Great team all around, from front desk to tech to being seen. Thank you so much!
Had a 2 year old suddenly spike a fever and get real lethargic. Run her into Access at 645 and we were out by 8pm with an ear infection, lollipop and a sticker, lol. Oh and a prescription. Nice staff.
Ive been coming here for years. They have the most kind hearted staff, Doctors & Nurses. Theyre always fast, efficient & courteous. I love this location & would highly recommend it to anyone!!! ❤️❤️❤️
They are always fast and friendly. I do my paperwork prior to coming in and schedule an appointment in advance. I use them anytime I need Urgent Care.
Fast and friendly service. Theyre care for my pains and the sickness of my children was perfect. These people know what they are doing and I left with a plan to feel better. Great job Urgent Care of Green Country!
It is one of the best places I have ever been to. Everybody was very kind and fast. I was very ill when I went in and they got me back to see doctor immediately. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.
The service here was great the front desk represintitive was really great so was all the nurses! I would definitely recommend going here everything was quick and easy for me.
Worst experience there ever. I use to go there quite a bit in the past because of migraines. I went last week due to what I thought was a sinus infection. I will never be back nor will I ever refer anyone else there. I didnt receive any relief and was charged $260. I can go to St. Johns urgent care and not be charged 3 days work.
Super easy process, no wait and the doctors were very kind, patient and explained everything. Definitely recommend and will go back
This is the 4th time I have been to access medical and everytime I have had a very good experience, they have taken great care of me . The care and service has been much better than anywhere else.
Should have known when I asked the lady on the phone if they were open and she basically gave me a teenager duh sounding yeah. You know, some of us have people answering phones when we arent open (customer service) and it was a Sunday.Im a physician and wanted to send my son over for X-rays after a fall. Took about an hour before they took him back after sitting in the lobby in pain. Got X-rays, said they didnt see anything. Sent to hospital and had an obvious fracture.Pretty worthless experience in our case. Beware.
Waited over 2 hrs with an appt at 1030. No way should facility be that far behind. Let covid test hang out for over an hr before informing patient. Yesterday daughter came here and didnt swab but edge of nose.. Worst location Ive ever been to! Id rather got to Indian hospital than deal with Bixby location.
Dont like to have to scan a bar code to fill out paperwork. Old phones and taking Id pics with them then transfer. Too much. Provider care awesome 👌
Ive been sick since Thursday. I just spent $60 copay today (Monday) to get looked at, and to receive a doctors note for the week to excuse me from work so I can get some rest. Doctor Adams was absolutely no help. It wasnt like I was asking for pain killers. Thanks for nothing. Enjoy my $60. You wont be receiving my business any longer.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This is the worst Urgent Care facility I have ever been to. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and must hate her job, because it seemed to me like she tried to do everything possible to force me away from being seen. I had oral surgery a few days prior, and seeing how dental offices are closed on the weekends, it was my only option save an 8 hour wait in the ER. First she told me they wouldnt accept my insurance which is Blue Cross/Blue Shield - a blatant LIE because I checked before hand - and then said if I paid out of pocket it would cost at a minimum of $200 but probably more. I had been waiting for 30 minutes before the doors opened for business and was the first in line to be seen, but completely walked out after being treated so horribly. This lady at the front desk really needs to be fired! DO NOT GO HERE EVER if you value your health and fair treatment, because you WILL NOT FIND IT HERE.
We had a minor emergency in a Saturday and were able to get an appointment for the same day. They have great personal service!
Went in for a covid test on Friday and that all went fine. But was told I would be called on Sunday with the results and no call. So I called at 2 pm then again at 4 , both times no answer and then it was after hours. Not pleased with the professionalism on that issue.
All the staff at Access Medical Center were amazing. So kind, patient, and thorough. Im very thankful to have this place near my home. They are the true heros. Thank you!!!!
The care was absolutely wonderful! Kelly was warm, calm, and very sharp! I would definitely come here again!
I was in and out in less than an hour! Everyone was really nice and took great care of me.
Had to wait about 20 minutes but they were quite busy so I was ok about that. Once in a room it all went quickly and I really liked the doctor .
The whole team is very kind! The doctor was very helpful and they saw me right away. When you are not feeling good the last thing you want to deal is with cranky people.... I highly recommend this place! :)
We went to this clinich today 2/9/15 because one of our boys needed stitches. I would not recommend anyone go to this clinic. We left because the lady up front was incompetent and we were never going to be seen there as long as she was handling things. We left Urgent Care of Green Country and went to St John Clinic Urgent Care on 81st & Memorial and got right in. There was no wait and everyone there was friendly and willing to help. It is sad that one person behind the front glass can cause such problems.
THIS URGENT CARE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. My fiance recently got insurence and we did not know that it wasnt effective until may 1. So we called bcbs to find out why and its because he applied March 17 which would make it effective in may. SO we went to the urgent care in Bixby to get him so help because his throat was really swollen. We did not plan to show up as late as we did I had just got home from work and he told me he needed to go in so we went. We got there right before they closed and they were pissed. A nurse from the back came and locked the door and turned off the open sign and shut the blinds with a very pissy attitude. Then the nurse up front said thankyou and she replied with a very sarcastic attitude. The nurse at the front proceeds to tell us our insurance isnt effective yet. Which is totally understandable. But the fact that she was not patient with us at all is what upsets me. So today on 04/23/2015 we called the insurance and were told it is effective and should work. So we go back and the same front office nurse with the same attitude tells us again that our insurance still isnt effective. And yet again she has a very rude attitude towards us and zero patience at all. I understand that insurance isnt her problem but get attitude to me was UNACCEPTABLE. My fiance is very sick and she showed zero empathy. I am in nursing school and she is breaking many codes. First of all her hygiene is terrible. Her hair is greasy. Second of all she has fake nails on which is a HUGE no no. They carry A LOT of bacteria under them. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT OUR HEALTH CARE IS THIS TERRIBLE. THIS WOMAN NEEDS TO BE FIRED.
Specifically the one on 117th and memorial. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor we’re very nice and welcoming. Little wait time and fast results. Will be returning to this location again.
Nurse and doctor are both excellent! Very caring and thorough. My issue is you cannot get anyone to answer the phone. I’ve called twice a day for the last 4 days, left multiple messages with a call back number and name and nothing in return. Terrible customer service.
Went in to have an ear infection looked at and waited 1 hour and 13 minutes to be seen for a 5 minute visit...then go to Walgreens to pick up the drops, not only have they not sent the prescription over, they won’t answer the phone for Walgreens either. If there were an option for negative stars, I would use it.Save yourself some trouble and just go ANYWHERE else...#whatacluster
Have been a repeat customer to this location. They are always prompt, courteous and get us taken care of. This is our go-to location for minor medical issues! Thanks!
This is by far the best Urgent Care facility in Tulsa. From the receptionist, nurses and doctor there is no weak link here. Great Job and Thank You for taking care of my little boy.
We came in 25 minutes before they closed and they were very kind and took their time with us even though i’m sure they were ready to go home! I would definitely recommend them! this is the second time i’ve used this facility and both times they were excellent!
I went in to be seen for a sinus infection/ear infection, I asked the lady at the front how much my co-pay was with my insurance she told me $20, I gladly paid was seen and thought everything was fine...about a month and a half later I received bill for an additional $80, I called to ask why I was being charged more. The man in billing I guess is his department, told me that the lady didnt know how much to charge until they processed my insurance and that I couldnt return to the clinic until that was paid (which I have no problem paying what I owe I just wish that when I asked to pay my co pay she would have given me the full amount while I was there) I told the man I would come in at a later date to pay and his reply was keep in mind you cant come back here or bring your kids here until you pay us.....That I didnt understand either because the insurance my kids have pays 100% of the bill. So the care I received was okay, but the customer service was horrible, and I will never ever go back to that place or bring my kids there, I have heard good things about a new urgent care in North Bixby and will take my business there.
Easy process, Dr.Lee was very personal and caring. Most definitely would go again if needed.
The staff was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable in my visit. They helped me get everything I need and felt welcome the entire time.
Everyone was so kind and made you feel welcome. I only had a Covid test done ( which was Negative!) They was just as excited as I was to hear results.
Everyone was very professional, kind and caring. Everyone took time with me and did not rush through the process. They assessed the situation and determined the appropriate treatment. It was a very positive experience.
If you’re looking for a highly recommended Urgent Care, Access Medical is the only place to go! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Miss Carole took great care of me and I was out in a jiffy!
I went here because of the high rating. (Plus it is in-network). Everyone was so nice and helpful. They were quick to get me in and seen. I am happy I went here. I would recommend this place to everyone.
I love going to this urgent care there has been only one physcian whom i didnt like and felt was very rude towards my children and i. I dont remember her name i just know it was a lady. Overall 5 star rating for past experiences
I took my daughter to this facility in Jan 2020. We saw Dr. Matthew Lee. This facility is always super clean, the staff is amazing and we were in and out in 25 min. Great place!!!
I always come to the Bixby location whenever I feel the onset of an illness, they get you through in a timely manner with empathy, dignity, and respect. They are a very knowledgeable group. If I must go to a quick care, I choose Urgent Care. Thank you ladies and gents!
All the employees and the doctor/PA were very nice and I was taken back quickly. They were very thorough and it was a good experience.
Always in & out quickly but more importantly the Drs consistently do a great job getting you taken care of. Would highly recommend 👍
Very friendly staff from the front to the back. I knew going in I was going to have to be referred to a different doctor. The staff was friendly and helpful. They set everything up..
This is the first time I’ve been in and been treated so well. Used to they would tell me I’m dehydrated and send me on my way, this time the doctor took the time to put my iv in himself and make sure I was feeling better before leaving!
Catherine and the staff were absolutely amazing with us and our young daughter. They were very gentle and caring.
Beware, go to er .urgent care new patient cost 150.00, 3 stitches squeezed into a 1/4 inch cut on forehead 200.00 each stitch. could have been a butterfly, then they want you back in 5 days to see about replacing them, additional cost.and additional cost to take them out when healed.had good luck in the past but this is ridiculous.
The only place I will go. Rachel was incredibly kind and efficient, she made the visit so easy. Thank you guys!
It’s nice to know Access is associated with Utica Park Clinic! The Staff was Professional, the Nurse was Friendly and Informative and the Dr was Thorough and engaging! Nice Job Ladies 👍
This is the only urgent care I go to! The staff is always professional and caring. I was seen quickly and got great service for my injury.
This is the best urgent care I have ever visited! The staff is prompt, so kind and caring. They are always so friendly! This will be the only urgent care I use from now on!
Access Medical Center on South Memorial near 121st in Bixby was exactly what I have needed. There was virtually no wait. I have had symptoms that mimic either a Sinus infection or Covid. I needed a doctor quickly and Access in Bixby is the most convenient and professional urgent care center I have visited. The staff is always very helpful and professional.
Everyone was friendly and helpful from start to finish. Both my husband and I were walk-ins and we were in and out within an hour.
Fantastic staff, very friendly and efficient. Doctor took appropriate amount of time for diagnosis and listened. Best experience I have had.
This little urgent care facility made a big impression. Dr. David has a great bedside manner...Ive already decided Ill make the drive straight here next time.
Not many forms to fill out, and I was seen quickly, but the doctor obviously did not care and had no compassion for my pain. I asked if she could give me a single shot or a single pill for the pain and she said she couldnt do that. I went there in pain and left in pain. At least I got an antibiotic. Im at about a 7/10 in pain.
The doctors & nurses here are always incredible. & so nice! My primary refers me to this urgent care & I’m so glad they did!
Brittney Roper was amazing. First person in years in the Medical field who listened and made my family feel confident about the illness we were up against.
Everyone — from reception to the nurse to the doctor — was incredibly friendly and thorough. My family and I definitely will return for future treatment.
My son is autistic and cerebral palsy. They have been great with him. Hes non verbal but he improves everytime thank you for being supportive
Stay away!! They will not tell you what you will be charged until you go to leave and then they hit you with $130 Bill no matter what. Its not a copay its just what we charge regardless of what your insurance pays. Its a scam! Go somewhere else.
Very prompt appointment. Staff was courteous and clinic was clean. HCP was friendly and thorough, answered all questions and never rushed.
Everyone was very helpful and Courteous. The x-ray lady was so nice and extremely pleasant would be happy to tell everyone.
This place is the best. They listen and dont try to rush you out. I love this place great Bedside manner.
Had a bit of a wait - nearly 40 minutes past my appointment time, but the staff is always great.
Staff was very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable! They even helped me find the best price for my Tamiflu. I truly appreciate this clinic and the staff!
The best urgent care. They are always friendly and never have much of a wait. They always provide helpful answers to health questions or concerns.
Went to this Urgent Care (for the 1st time) 10 minutes before they closed yesterday (May 5th, 2017) and was in & out right at closing time (and thats including filling out all the 1st time paperwork). They took care of me in unprecedented time! Thank you ladies!
Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Appointments are easy to make and I was seen in a timely manner. After going to several urgent cares this is the only urgent care I will go to.
Wow. What an amazingly bad experience. The Bixby location doesnt even have actual MDs. My husband was prescribed magic mouthwash for a muscle issue...hmmm...quack, anyone? He left with a prescription no pharmacy would fill and no diagnosis--perhaps thats because Judy Nielson, PA-C didnt even listen to his complaints. When we called to discuss his treatment, some nurse yelled at him and told him to get a second opinion...wouldnt even let him talk, just screamed over him. What a waste of time and money. Its owned by Stephen Kovacs, a DO who doesnt.
This place has terrible service. You check in online and it doesnt even matter, they still take all the walk ins before you. They act like you are next in line and then an hour later and multiple other people later, it still isnt your turn. They have 3 people sitting behind the glass looking at their phones not helping people at all. Worst experience ever !!
Always loved this place and the staff. They’re so nice and efficient!!! Remember, they’re overwhelmed with Covid cases/tests, so BE KIND. We’re all in this together.
Wonderful location, fast efficient with amazing front office people and nurse in the back. 5 stars aren’t enough!
Super nice staff. Got an appointment same afternoon. XRay on site. Highly recommend.
Very friendly helpful and personable. Dr David is very nice and all the young ladies are met are just as nice and helpful
PA was very patient, kind and knowledgable. He listened carefully to what I said. I was an emotional wreck as well as being in pain and his bedside mannor was very comforting
Quick, friendly, and professional. Symptoms were embarrassing, but they never made me feel it. Would absolutely recommend.
Google Says they are open, theres no signs on the door but its locked. Thanks a lot
So how does this online check in actually work because i made an online check in for 430 this morning so I get there and had to wait 45 mins because they took the person befor me first who was just a walk in.I work in a place where we have the online. Check in option and it’s definitely not likw this one .I think if they have this option they need to explain to people how it works because today was def not a good day especially when the lady up front could not explain how the system works. The online check in was not in our favor today other than that the staff was nice
The NP and her assistant were extremely nice. The office was very efficient and everything went smoothly with minimal wait.
The ladies here were super helpful and friendly. There was no wait and they had me in and out fast.
This feels like a funeral home and the wait for covid testing is forever.
Everytime I go here it takes FOREVER even if Im the only person there, and they are always rude. One time they told me a fiddle back bite was a infected mosquitoe bite then a couple days later it turned black so I went to a different urgent care and they got me on the right meds asap
The PA there was more preoccupied about being a jackass about the mask than she was about my health. Have been there several times in the past but this is my last visit.
The entire staff was so friendly and kind. I know healthcare has been over worked and over run during this pandemic and I so appreciate the entire staff!
The Drs, Nurses and staff are wonderful. Very nice and caring for their patients.
Staff was very nice, doctor was great. Took care of me and even called me a few days later to see how I was doing.
We went in on a Sunday at 5:15pm ... they close at 5:30 by the way. We were NOT rushed at all !!! The whole staff including the doctor were AWSOME !! Great Experience.
Dona was such a lovely provider who made me feel cared for.
Never answer the phone. Poor customer service. Unprofessional. Say theyll send a prescription to your pharmacy but you have to call to remind them several times before it gets down. Will NEVER return
Always such a good experience. They listen and show they care. Wait time can vary, but it has never been crazy long.
Had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes just to get a drug test for my job !! so angry. never going back.
You know its a shame when you get hired on there at this place to help patients and provide best patient care and all they can think about is getting a good rating and making sure that their ratings are good a set of actually taking care of the patient and actually having good people there to take care of the patients they get rid of them because theyre afraid of them is places of lie they deceit and they hate people and they all they want from you is your money and a rating
Staff is always friendly and my family and I get our needs met when we need them!
I took my daughter here and we were seen almost immediately. Prescriptions were called in for us. All of the staff was friendly, quick and efficient.
Front desk was so caring and quick! Amanda APRN was thorough, confident and wonderful! Thank you!
Friendly staff, great service, easy check in and fast results. Perfect experience!
I was in and out fairly quickly and the staff - front desk, nurse and PA were all very nice!
The wait was a little long but there were a lot of people there. Everyone was very polite and made sure we were comfortable.
