Dr. Chappell is amazing! His staff is so helpful and answers any questions you have. I had my first consultation with Dr. Chappell and I left feeling like he understood and heard all of my concerns. I left his office feeling excited and hopeful. He is also quite funny and made us laugh along with being serious in the moments where needed. I would recommend all of my friends that needed to see a fertility expert to go see him. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Dr. Chappell and his staff are the absolute best. They go above and beyond to make you feel safe and heard throughout your journey. Dr. Chappell is extremely knowledgeable and kind. Our experience was more than we could have hoped for and would recommend Fertility Answers to anyone who is looking!

Loved Dr. Chappell he’s a fantastic physician, great bedside manner, funny guy. Helped us with exactly what he said he was gonna do, did 1 round of ivf in January and I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant! I couldn’t be happier I chose Fertility Answers - would recommend their team to anyone.

Dr. Chappell was supposed to do a tubal reversal on my left tube. After getting out of surgery he told me he worked on the entry to my left tube and he couldnt find the rest. He also said he did something to my right tube that was supposed to be left over from ectopic pregnancy. After surgery he told me that he didnt know if the left tube was open. At my follow up appointment He did an extensive HSG for about 10 minutes or longer with nurse Grace in the room. He made me lay on my left side to see if my left tube would fill up. After asking nurse grace was my tube filling up she replied no. After the procedure I was told to try and reopen the tube with another surgery or to do IVF. I agreed to do IVF but after taking some days to think I was not comfortable with what happened from after surgery up until the HSG. I proceeded to get a second opinion.Thank God I did. I was told I didnt have a left tube and that I had a right tube and that it had been sewn in the middle. I had my last child in 2006 after a ectopic the year or two before. I have never had any procedures on my fallopian tube until Dr Chappell performed surgery on me. I was on medicaid my whole life and they do not pay for surgery to sew a tube its either tied, clipped or burned back in the days and I dont have any medicaid or insurance for surgery to sew my tube. I dont trust Dr. Chappell because he has a lied from the time I got out of surgery up until the day I confronted him about it. Also he wrote something totally different in my chart VS what I was told. I asked him why he didnt open my right tube if the other doctor was able to open it if thats what I paid for? He said he couldnt get to it. The surgery with Dr Chappell was so fast. The incision was the size of a nickel. My second surgery was a couple of hours and my incision was a c-section cut. I also I feel like nurse Grace knew I didnt have a left tube and proceeded with the lie. I also found out the my insurance doesnt cover tubal reversal so I have not a clue what he told the insurance company in-order for my surgery to get covered but thats being investigated also. My second surgery was paid for out of pocket because the doctor told me insurance doesnt cover it. This whole situation has been so stressful. I dont wish this on nobody. I hope you all start recording these doctors because its their word against ours and its not right. All they want to do is push IVF on you and not take the time to figure out whats best for you!

From our initial consultation, I could tell Dr. Chappell truly loved his job and was right where God needed him. He instantly put us at ease and he promised he would get us our baby and he fulfilled his promise in less than a year. We did 5 IUI’s that were unfortunately unsuccessful, and then one round of IVF that was successful. Throughout the entire process from start to finish, I felt supported not only from Dr. Chappell, but the entire staff at Fertility Answers. They were always available to answer any questions that we had. They were there for us through the lowest lows and celebrated with us when we finally got our positive test after our first transfer. We were honestly sad to graduate because we were absolutely spoiled here at Fertility Answers. I cannot recommend them enough!

Dr. Chappell, is great! He listened to all of my concerns and was absolutely great. I could not have asked for a better doctor.

He killed my sister!! He puncture her bowel and let it sit in her for 5 days and did nothing to save her. She came back to Woman’s Hospital the next day after her surgery with a CT Scan from another hospital saying her bowel was punctured and Dr. Neil Chappell and General Surgeon Dr. James Williams denied what they did to her. She died May 1, 2024.

The care we have received at fertility answers has been top notch. Dr Chappell and his team have been nothing short of amazing! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Special thanks to Holly for always being so patient with all the phone calls and always making me feel heard .

Dr. Chappell is NOT a helpful endometriosis specialist. Dr. Chappell is probably a great fertility doctor. My whole life, nobody recognized the pain I was experiencing. Years later, I was finally diagnosed by a doctor and referred to see Dr. Chappell. After having surgery, Dr. Chappell denied me having any pain saying that there is no reason stage 4 endometriosis should be painful. Stating that my “nerves like to fire” and I should do more cardio. When I told him I worked out he said, “weighted workout outs don’t count”. Dead in the eye. At that time I was jogging 2 miles almost every day. When I told him I was worried endometriosis grew on my bladder, he told me “that’s impossible because nothing would grow that fast.” After surgery with my new doctor I found out that my bladder was glued to my posterior abdominal wall with endo implants. When I told Dr. Chappell I had a dermoid he quickly retorted, “you do not have a dermoid, there is no way, it must be an endometrioma.” However, during my recent surgery with my new doctor, they found a 5cm teratoma. When I told Dr. Chappell I felt pain due to the: 3cm and 5cm endometrioma, and the unknown 5cm mass in my body he responded “that’s impossible. You wouldn’t feel that.” I talked to my new doctor and they immediately asked ,” how are you dealing with this intense pain?” Dr. Chappell refused to prescribe me medication, refused to continue doing ultrasounds for me, and yet laughed and made jokes when I went to the ER because a cyst popped. Before I left his care the last thing he said to me was “call me when the endometrioma gets to 7cm, then we can talk.” I got surgery with my new doctor a few months after that conversation and the surgery took 3+ hours long, and I need to go back in 5 months for some more clean up. Could you imagine what it would look like waiting maybe another year just so it could grow to 7cm? He made me into an incubator. Dr. Chappell has poor bed side manners, has poor knowledge of women undergoing pain, and belittles a woman who is in the process of getting a PhD. So if you are looking for care for endometriosis, he is not the guy.More context, during surgery, my intestines had endometriosis growths, my left and right ovaries completely stuck, my fallopian tubes folded over and stuck with implants. Both ovaries had to be completely reconstructed, and stitched to ligaments so that they don’t stick back to locations they shouldn’t. There’s more bullet points I could include, but that definitely sounds like a person whose “nerves just love to fire” and “has no reason to feel pain”(Sarcasm).

We have only had a consultation, but so far the way we have been treated is vastly different than the three other REs we’ve gone to. Dr. Chappell listens and explains thoroughly, and it seems like he genuinely cares. Most importantly, it’s obvious he knows his stuff, and he talked to us like we are human to help us understand in a comfortable way. The nurses and other staff have also been quick to respond and are super nice. I am excited to move forward at this clinic. Thanks for everything so far.

Dr. Chappell is an amazing physician. My husband and I began our fertility journey with him and couldn’t be more pleased. He is very caring and compassionate. One of our favorite things about Dr. Chappell is how up to date he in on current clinical practices. I know that we are always getting the best care with him. All of his staff members are amazing too! We love everyone at fertility answers.

I will always recommend Fertility Answers. We have been there a couple of years and Dr Chappell never gave up on us. After every treatment he had a plan to move forward, and finally we had success. The staff was incredible from day one. They all were kind and super helpful, even if I called a million times! Dr. Chappell always took the time to talk with us and explain every step of our journey to us. He cared what I thought about my own body and how I felt I was doing. I had done some things with a naturopath before seeing him and he didn’t just roll his eyes when I spoke to him about in our consultation. He listened to my experience and agreed with the changes I had already made. That meant a lot to me. We absolutely loved working with him and his P.A. Grace and actually got emotional on our last visit! I highly recommend him.

I love the whole team. I feel like everyone in the office is really on your side and wants you to get pregnant. From the MD and PA, to the nurses, the techs, and front staff, they all learn who you are and your story and really care about you. They’re honest and helpful. They return your calls promptly. They do a good job of keeping you informed. They rejoice in your successes and are disappointed when you are. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone having trouble conceiving or seeking alternate ways to conceive.

Fter going through 2 rounds of egg retrieval cycles and 5 embryo transfers with another fertility center, we were still not successful in conceiving a baby. The previous fertility couldn’t give us an answer as to what our issue was and just suggested another round of IVF. With so many failed attempts, we lost hope but still decided to go with a 3rd round of IVF as it would be our last effort in trying. As we were starting a new IVF cycle, Hurricane Ida came through and delayed our process in completing the cycle.One night by chance, we met a couple that was successful with Dr Neil Chappell and highly recommended that we go with him. Since our 3rd cycle was delayed, we decided to set up a consultation with Dr Chappell just to see what he would do differently. After meeting with Dr Chappell, we instantly felt a connection with him and decided to go with Fertility Answer for our last round. He explains everything thoroughly and ensured we understand the process. Even more, he was able to provide us a possible reason/solution as to why we are having so many problems and gave us hope again. He has a nature about him that makes you feel comfortable and always answer our questions with great details in ways that we would understand versus using medical terminology that we would not know. His staff is also great and always respond timely. We like that when we call the office, we are able to speak to a nurse directly instead of having to a leave a message for a call back. We are now happy to announce that we are a proud parent of a baby boy!

My visit with Dr. Chappell was initially to have a second opinion. I am here to say that I am so glad I went to get that second opinion. Dr. Chappell and his staff have all helped me feel like I am not alone. They are passionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. I am so thankful to have them along side me and my husband for our journey.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr chappell! I highly recommend him. He truly is one of a kind doctor (I would know, I’m a nurse). Every appointment I had I would bring in a laundry list of questions and he would take the time to answer every single one and make sure I understood completely. He is up to date on the newest techniques and procedures. I wouldn’t have been able to have a baby without dr chappell’s help. When I was in the hospital post procedure he went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and comfortable. I am forever grateful for him! After visiting a renowned Baton Rouge clinic which was more inclined towards ivf rather than checking for any issues . I thought of taking a second opinion with Dr. Chapell. He took time to understand the issues and suggested an altogether different approach which I was skeptical of . He responds to your calls and answers all your queries honestly . I am happy I went with his approach .I wish I had approached him sooner . For anyone with fertility issues I highly recommend to schedule a consultation with him

Dr. Neil chappel explains everything thoroughly and never rushes you. He always wants you to understand the process and has a calm, relaxed nature about him that makes you instantly feel comfortable. He’s an incredible doctor you can trust. He has always answered our questions with great detail. Very polite and compassionate. His staff is great too. Highly recommended.

The nurses have either forgot to communicate as to why and what medications are for after they arrive at my home. No education. When I asked a nurse to explain, I received a condescending response that I should know the answer. The nurses are forgetting that the clients are individuals too, who, yes, we understand the nurses have to repeat themselves often.Also, after being informed IUI sometimes take 3 to 4 cycles, I asked how many virals of donor sperm do I buy, I was informed 1 viral. Now the 2nd cycle is in progress, was informed I needed to purchase additional donor sperm. Frustrating....In addition, whether an employee has to wait until a shipment comes in after the rest of the staff is gone is not my problem. I did by the way paid extra for overnight shipping so this employee didn’t have to inconvenience herself.

We have no words for how appreciative we are for Dr. Chappell and his wonderful staff. From day one they made this crazy process so positive and smooth. We will be forever grateful for this staff.
