Fast Aid Urgent Care - Bastrop TX

Ive visited 3 times for various reasons. Two times with my children and this time for me. Everyone is always amazing. From the front desk to the Drs and nurses. This was my first time getting stitches and it was totally not a deal. Tina did amazing! Thanks so much for great care, bedside manners and being available in our community!

The doctors we have seen here are wonderful. This review is for the front office staff.My husband was seen this morning. While he was waiting, a woman came in and couldn’t pay her co-pay and asked to be billed later. The front office staff told her that wasn’t possible, and the woman left. Once the woman left, the front office staff (two women) talked, joked, and laughed loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear, about the woman who was unable to pay. This was not only sad to hear but very unprofessional.

I highly recommend this urgent care. The hours are correct and they abide by them. My husband drove me over an hour to come here due to ours randomly shutting down. This will be the only urgent care I’ll go to now even though I live 65 miles away. They listen to you and don’t bullsh!t you at all. They were cheerful and actually had a conversation with you. It was the most pleasant experience! I was not scared at all! Very up-kept.

This is my second time at this location. I was able to check in online and fill out all of the paperwork on my phone before I got there. Everyone is so kind and patient and I’m so thankful they were open during the Christmas holiday. They gave me the care and the medicine I needed to start feeling better. I’m so glad to have this place when I come and visit my parents for the holidays. I would recommend it to anyone in Bastrop or visiting.

Front desk were very respectful and nice. Quick and efficient. Then staff in back were the same. Ive never visited an urgent care where I had service the way I did here. Doctor took time to answer all questions and didnt rush us and actually listened. Best service. Thank you for helping us and getting us taken care of.

I was very happy with the care I received. The front desk staff was great. The nurse that took my vitals was very nice. And the dr was so sweet and caring and addressed all my questions. I would highly recommend this clinic. Thank you to everyone one of you.

Every time I have been here, they have been very kind, professional and polite. The patient rooms appear clean and organized. They are very prompt with care. The doctors and physicians assistants have been accurate in their diagnoses every time I’ve been here for an illness.

The is by far the best urgent care Ive been to anywhere. The staff is very professional and get you in and out very efficiently. The doctor is very knowledgeable and provides excellent care.

My 89 year old mother had the tip of her hearing aid stuck very close to her eardrum. Fast Aid staff was so friendly & kind. This was our 3rd medical professional we tried to remove this object. So grateful they were able to do it!

I came here because I had sinus congestion, a sore throat, and a cough. I checked in prior to coming in. My appointment was at 9:10. I did not have to sit and wait hardly at all. They were quick, kind, and wanted to do what’s best for you and what you need. Within 8 hours of starting the meds prescribed/gave I started to feel better.A place I would recommend for anyone who really really hates going to the doctor. They make it easy, calm, and quick.

My 15 month old did better there for a sick visit than he did at the regular doctor for a well visit. I would reccomend Fast Aid for anyone, especially parents!Updated with my second visit several months later: My almost 18 month old started crying at lunch for no apparent reason today so I made an appointment and checked in online from the table with plenty of time for us to get there. We arrived there when we were done with lunch much sooner than the appointment and they saw us before our allotted time, discovered the problem and sent a prescription quickly. My husband took the baby home while I waited for the prescription and we started treating that night. I am so relieved that as a first time parent they are here and easily accessible! Great with my family and an accurate diagnosis.

First and foremost. Why take advantage of someone who is seeking medical attention by stabbing them with a 4% credit card fee. Second take the time to really listen to your patients symptoms i ended up.having RSV. The NP said it was sinus infection.

Very unprofessional, lost track of patients. I filled out paper forms due to my phone having no battery. Gave forms to the FD guy with my ID and insurances. Waited for a whole hour and saw patients going in even after coming in after me. I went and asked how long it was going to take and another lady from FD counter found my childrens info. Guess what, the guy had them and never put their info into the system. My children were feeling very sick. I desided to leave that place. I dont recommend it.

I had some dental work performed on a Thursday, and when the local anesthesia wore off in the evening, I started experiencing more pain that I’d ever experienced in my life. I made it through the night, then called the dentist the next day. They said to come in first thing Monday morning…By Saturday afternoon, I was desperate for any relief, and I hadn’t slept since I work up Thursday morning. This was the closet urgent care to my home, so I drove over when I couldn’t take it anymore.I arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the waiting room was empty so the wait was short. I filled out the registration forms on my phone, then went to the counter to pay for the visit. Interestingly, the lady manning the front desk let me know how much of my high-deductible requirement was left. That was a nice touch, since it’s always a mystery at any other healthcare provider. They do charge 4% for card payments, but at the moment this wasn’t a concern of mine. Nevertheless, the total cost was very reasonable.I was checked in and did the normal height/weight/blood pressure/Q&A process, then I was sent to the examination room. The doctor arrived almost immediately after I was in the room.The doctor quickly came up with a plan for my pain management, starting with a shot in the office. After the nurse administered the shot and I was leaving, the doctor also explained that he was prescribing a numbing agent to swish around in my mouth.Within an hour of the shot, I was in much better shape and was able to actually sleep for the first night in days.I found out the next day when the pharmacy opened that the doctor had also prescribed antibiotics and oral pain relievers in addition to the numbing gel.The entire visit was fast and efficient and the staff was very professional and polite, despite my arrival just before closing time on a Saturday afternoon. I was in and out in 20-30 minutes..I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to wait for days until I could see the dentist again, but the medical professionals here figured out how to make me comfortable while I wait for my appointment. I am truly grateful that I visited this urgent care facility, and I could not be more pleased with how I was taken care of.

The entire team was extremely friendly and helpful. We are from out of state and had to take our toddler in so it could have been a very stressful experience; however, both the front desk staff and the medical staff took most of the stress out of our visit. They were very kind and reassuring throughout the entire process.Also, the wait time was almost nonexistent when we arrived on a Monday mid-morning, and the check-in process is done almost completely by QR code on your phone, which again made the visit that much easier (they have the QR code to scan on the outside of the window as well as inside at the front desk, so you could scan the QR code and return to your car to complete it, if you prefer). We would definitely recommend this urgent care to others.To the staff- thanks for making this experience a bit easier for us! We appreciate you!

We loved Dr Jackson and his demeanor. Also really liked the gentleman at the front deck. Was very welcoming and didnt feel rushed or treated like a number. Wow! Thanks a lot.

I went in for an allergic reaction to something unknown that had developed into itchy, red hives all over my body. I was not wanting to wait for relief hours at a hospital emergency room so we tried this place. The service was fast, easy and more affordable than any other urgent care centers in the area.I was given a steroid shot and felt relief from itching immediately. I was also prescribed something to help with the itching at night.All in all, I’m very happy with my visit and will definitely be going back if more issues like this arise!! Thank you Fast Aid 💙💙💙💙

Fast, efficient, & friendly. Got in & out in an hour or so. They have a great sign-up system all online taking photos of your DL & insurance which makes it all go quick. You can do it ahead of time or in the waiting room.

I arrived when they opened and was in and out of there very quickly. Tina was kind and informative and offered additional assistance if i needed it moving forward. My insurance hasnt started yet, but it was still very affordable for everything I needed to do. $150 for initial visit (would have been cheaper if I had cash so bring cash if you can, otherwise its a 4% fee)

In a sentence- Fast Aid Urgent Care is everything we hope for when medical needs arise.The details: we’ve been twice for different matters. In both cases the whole staff from intake to check out is outstanding. With competence and compassion, the care we’ve received simply cuts through the “noise” that sometimes comes with medical care. We’ve left with a diagnosis and a treatment plan as well as what feels like an understanding of medical issue.The experience has been simply exceptional.

I went there for a puncture wound in my foot. While they had great service and bed side manners they didnt treat my injury to the extent that it needed. Over two months later the source of the pain was infection from foreign material left in the wound. Proper treatment would have prevented that!

No line, even though two people were before me I was called pretty fast. Facility is very clean, and the personnel is nice and friendly. Nurse practitioner who saw me was very nice too and made straight forward decision. I definitely recommend this Urgent care. However, you will be seen by a Physician assistant or a Nurse and never by an actual doctor (MD) even though they charge Specialist co-pay. So they save lots of money by not letting actual doctor see the patient.

As always, staff are so wonderful and helpful at Bastrop Fast Aid. I was even more impressed this visit as a parent rushed in with a small child needing stitches. Fast Aid stayed very calm and were quick to take the family back for care. Understandably, I expected a long wait to be seen while they attended the emergency but that wasnt the case. I was seen, treated, and sent on my way in the usual timely manner. Cant say enough good things about this Urgent Care. The prescribed medications are already working and I feel hundred times better than I have in a week. Big kudos to all!! bk

Fast service after applying and applying only takes like 10 min and i only paid $150 and they checked on my issue no other problems..

FastAid Bastrop is the best for healthcare needs. Fast friendly & caring staff every time. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Jackson. He was polite and funny. Love when a provider goes above and beyond and make a patient feel at ease when your sick. Made my husband and I laugh which helped with the anxiety I was feeling due to needing some labs. Highly recommend them.

Staff was very courteous and attentive to my needs. They very quickly saw me and diagnosed my problem.

I took my son on Friday 11/08/2024. He is non-verbal and they way he was treated was amazing. When I told the doctor that came in the room she was super patient with him.

Super friendly. Everyone was! Fast. In and out. Will definitely be back. Only downside is they charge 4% fee if you use debit or credit. Have never had to do that at a doctors office

Ive come here to bring my children for covid testing and have always got results within 24 hrs as it can usually take 48 hrs and since we dont do the rapid test. I went in in and was amazed to how much this place cares about its patients. One receptionist told another we are not taking anymore patients. 10 min later a woman walks in with her 4 year old son, explained her situation, and they were able to been seen. That really made me feel good about this place to see them care so much. I went in for flu test and covid test. Normally, someone will walk in, look at your chart, put on gloves, look at you, then walk right out. Carmelia was amazing. She came in, and looked me in the eyes everytime she spoke. Which is important, it lets you know the person speaking to you cares about your conversation. Not only was she able to test me, but she also helped me with other things I needed to address and was very informative. I have never been so pleased with a Dr visit as I was with Fast Aid urgent care. I will note, due to covid, there was a bit of a wait. But, they have figured out a system that worked well. I had 23 patients in front of me, but was seen with 10 patients still in front of me. They prioritize everyones needs and instead of being in and out in 2 hrs like I was told, I was in and out in 1 hr. This place deserves and award.

Been there in the past a few times and again yesterday. As always, the staff and provider were very professional, courteous, and sincere. I feel confident in the care I received there.

I have utilized their service twice. With times I was impressed with their services from the front desk to the providers.

The entire visit requiring my urgent care exceeded my expectations. I know how challenging it can be to run an operations. It requires leadership, team adherence policy, customer care , quality, and safety. All while trying to make a little money in order keep valued team members.This operation seems to be doing this right.

We’ve tried all of the urgent cares in town. Trust me, Fast Aid is the best one. They are by far the quickest! They allow me to wait in the car with my sick kids so we don’t get exposed to something else. The staff is always nice and the doctors are very informative!

Front desk staff was very respectful! I did make an appointment for my son and got a Little frustrated with the wait time but the guy from front desk explained to me how the system works with walk ins and appointments which made so much sense! All in all this was our first time here and I highly recommend this place! Everyone had a smile on their face which is awesome. Very professional and such a clean environment.

The Nurse practitioner here was rude and judgmental. She asked me questions that made no sense. I advised her I was in severe pain and offered no medication for remedy. I called and talked to the manager and she said that she’s never had a complaint in the nurse practitioner (so my concerns must be illegitimate right?) and that she needed to talk to her owner about the incident and experience I had. She called me back to tell me that her nurse practitioner apologized and that the owner told her they would ONLY refund my copay as long as I took this negative review down. No thank you, I choose to inform the public on your lack of integrity and lack of customer service.Update: 02/04/2024 My daughter needed to be seen today along with me needing to take a simple Flu test. MIND YOU, they just saw my two older kids with no problems yesterday 02/03. As I was leaving my home for today’s visit the receptionist called me to advise me that they refuse to see both of us since I did not remove their review that shines any negative light on them. The OWNER offered to refund my co pay AS LONG as I took the review down. This is shady business. So just keep in mind if you have any negative experience here and you voice your opinion they will not see you again. You’ve been warned.Some may ask “well why go back?” First of all everyone is sick atm so finding a respective appt with the provider is pretty non existent. Luckily I did take my business to La Grange and we will stay far away from Fast Aid in Bastrop and La Grange since they are both owned by the same trash owners.

The online check-in process was very helpful. Knowing an approximate wait time reduces stress. The check-in on arrival was fast and the staff efficient and courteous. Once in the back I saw the nurse and then MD. The MD went over the observations, test results, and prescribed medication. Dr. Forsyth was great in providing important details about my medical issue and some cautionary instructions if my symptoms changed...and they did. Later that evening I was at the ER as symptoms did change for the worse. It was a good call to go there, and we appreciated the information that Fast Aid and Dr. Forsyth gave that allowed the healing process to move forward.

Listen, this is genuinely the best experience we’ve had at an urgent care or any medical care facility. It was our first time here so I went online and set an appointment for 2:00. We arrived at 1:30 and I filled out the forms electronically before we went in. After we checked in we waited less than 10 minutes to be called back. Questions were asked, vitals were checked and we were put in a room to be seen. 5 minutes later (after my daughter had been examined, diagnosed, and meds were being sent to the pharmacy) we were walking out. We got back in the car BEFORE 2:00.This may be because it wasn’t super busy when we went or it may be because we set an appointment and filled out paperwork before going in or it may be that they’re like this all the time (based on the smoothness I’m putting my money on this one) but it doesn’t matter to me why. I was very impressed by it and knew I’d write a review for them before I got the prompt asking me to.Every single staff member was kind and seemed to care. My daughter was in and out of different doctors’ offices when she was little and my mom has been a nurse for over 3 decades so I’ve been around more than a few handfuls of medical professionals. The people we dealt with when we went here are top of the list. (But below my mom because, you know, she’s mom. 😁)This is our new go-to urgent care and the one we will recommend over any other one in the area.Y’all keep doing what you’re doing. Y’all are amazing!!

Great customer service. Had an x-ray taken if my foot. While there my blood sugar levels dropped in to the 50s. The nurse was quick to get me a couple of snacks and asked me to hang out till my levels where back to normal. She didnt want me to pass out driving.. I appreciate the level of concern the staff showed me.

The couple times I’ve had to take my daughter here have always had friendly, quick but thorough service without any long wait times!

Came in today for shoulder pain. Even with the craziness of COVID, Melina and Anahi at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Since I wasnt there for COVID testing I was brought back fairly quickly. PA Jackson was very thorough and informative. I got a shot from Makayla in the back, didnt even feel it. Best Urgent Care in town for sure!!!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care facility. Every member of the medical staff was professional and polite. Even with a 15 minute wait for lab results we were still in and out in under an hour. Reasonably affordable without insurance as well.

The only issue was trying to enter my birth year on the online check in. Im supposed to scroll back through a calendar for 58 years? No option to just enter the year! Ridiculous.Otherwise everyone was very nice and professional - barring that check-in nonsense, I would recommend them.

I came in around 9 today and everything was so easy. From the online paperwork to reception to actually seeing the doctor. All of the nurses were amazingly sweet and the doctor was super gentle and kind. The receptionist even took everything I said seriously and said she hoped I felt better. The nurse that saw me before took all my symptoms seriously and the nurse afterwards answered all my questions and was super nice. I was diagnosed with Strep Throat super quickly and the medication is already working wonders. If you need a place that is fast but also super high quality then go here. I was amazed at the concern and care I was shown. (Even though I thought I was just being dramatic.) Thank you so much!!

Nothing compares to this urgent care.. DEFINITELY deserves a 5 star review. The staff is friendly and are trained perfectly!! The environment is clean, and very spacious.. wait time is phenomenal!! They answer phone calls within seconds and answered everything I asked over the phone.They provide testing, labs, X-rays, medication refills, sutures and many more things. All throughout a great experience.

Yall literally turned my tears into joy!!I was really scared not knowing what was happening to my child. Everyone of yall took excellent care of us. I always have such a great experience here. All the staff is always so helpful and the Dr is so great and gives us the information and whatever meds or instructions we need to get better! I think its Dr Jeff? Id have to look it up. But he always makes it a great experience even though were all feeling like poop! I’m already starting to feel better from the steroid shot and meds he recommended and that was just yesterday. So thank you so much!

I really appreciate them seeing me even though it was closing time. They didnt hurry me and took care of my hand that had some torn skin after a dog bite. They did an awesome job on getting the skin back together.

My first time going to Fast Aid Urgent Care and I am so happy I did.I was suffering with a lot of pain making it hard to walk, bend etc. I was quickly properly diagnosed and treated. By the next morning I was already 90% improved.

Been here twice and both times I was seen rather quickly for an urgent care accepting walk-ins.Staff was very nice on both occasions, but this time stood out. I tested positive for COVID that morning and needed help. I had just come from a different urgent care that turned me away because I didnt have an appointment with them (the other urgent care) until 6 hours later even though my symptoms were rapidly getting dangerous so I needed to be seen asap; I came to them already frustrated, in tears, and scared. I was really sick, really tired, and having a hard time thinking and communicating. Everyone from the Receptionist to the PA who helped me were very patient, kind, and professional and made me feel better about being there. All in all Im very thankful I ended up coming here instead! Its only been 2 days and I am already feeling much better.

Dr. Forsythe saw me yesterday for a nasal congestion situation.At 87, I was weak and could hardly walk because of a previous bout with vertigo. The medication she prescribed have been a miracle. Congestion cleared, I feel stronger and do not need my walking cane . Thanks. You are the best.

Having the painful condition of chronic migraine, I truly appreciate this. In addition,their prices were 40% cheaper than another urgent care in Bastrop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I really like that I have the option to walk in or make an appointment. The urgent care closer to me (Manor) does not allow you to make appointments, You have to wait 2 hours to be seen.

Everything about our visit was great. Being in a situation to need urgent care is stressful enough, so to have courteous and helpful staff was refreshing. Ive been to urgent cares before where the front desk staff acted as though you were messing up their day by arriving. We booked ahead and maybe waited 15 min while checking in online. The gentleman manning the desk and phones was so pleasant and and genuinely inquired on how we were doing. The phlebotomist and Dr. were wonderful and had great bedside manner, even bringing in a cup with ice water before we left. We hope we dont need urgent care again soon, but if we do we will most definitely visit here.

We often can’t get into my daughter’s PC on the same day so we’ve been here a number of times. They are always very friendly, efficient, and give quality care. It’s best to sign in online before arriving, if possible. If you get there before they open, there is a QR reader posted on the window so you can get started on the registration. We highly recommend this urgent care.

From the time you walk in you are greeted with a smile. All staff working on me worked again with compassion. Highly recommend

The staff is absolutely amazing. Theyre kind and caring. However the doctor didnt really tell me much. I wound up having to call back to see how long Id be in this immobilization brace, and when I needed to get PT going... Rather than telling me these things while I was in office, he gave me the basic, reading material as he calls it, and walked out while the X-ray tech was fitting me into my brace.

This place was amazing!!! The waiting area was big so you dont feel like you are getting other sicknesses on top of the one you have. There was no wait when I went with my daughter around 7:00 pm. The place is so clean as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were able to get her to feel a tad more comfortable. The doctor was super nice and didnt rush. This is probably the quickest, stress free urgent care Ive ever been to. I highly recommend this place over the others in town.

Wow- great group! Though I showed up 10 minutes before closing, I received friendly greetings and great care and treatment not only for an acutely painful and possibly dangerous problem in my ear canaI, but for a second issue (poison ivy rash) that I would have neglected had the assistant taking blood pressure and weight not queried whether I would like the doctor (PA) to attend to as well. The PA, Melanie, was just wonderful, as were her other 2 assistants. Because of this team, I had a great night’s sleep after a very stressful day. And the next day, when I called in with a simple question, I was again greeted by friendly communications, getting a simple and quick answer by someone I hadn’t met the evening before. This is a good place to go for urgent care.

First time there, but we sure found the best UrgentCare in Bastrop! Highly efficient, very friendly, kind employees, superior care. The care center was spotless. Totally impressedWith everything.

Quickly seen by polite and professional staff.My daughter also came in from out of state with her 1 year son who needed staples removed from his head. They were wonderful with his care and made her feel good.

Checked in by phone and waited in my car. Phone check was fast and easy. You could watch it update and see who was in front of you. It was pretty long wait but its understandable considering Covid. A got a phone call telling me to head towards the clinic it was nearing my time to be seen. I appreciate getting a phone call from the clinic to let me know. Ive been to this Fast Aid a few times. I definitely prefer this Urgent Care over any of the others. Whenever I go theyve always been friendly,professional, and helpful.

Update: 3/3/23 Fast Aid reached out to me wanting to apologize. They were able to see that no treatment had been given and said they will send the full refund for the co-pay. I can honestly appreciate this. People making things right is respectable. Im changing my rating for this.3/2/23 review:Took mom there for a hematoma on her leg. The Dr came in sat down, saw her leg, and said I cannot help you, you need to go to the ER. Was with us for about 60 seconds. I feel that the Dr should have told the front desk to refund her the $35 since he couldnt help and sent her to the ER for another $90 co-pay. But no, that didnt happen instead, they sent her a bill for $5 over and above the $35. Disappointing

We love this place. They have been our go-to for all upper respiratory and ear infections over the past year and have always been in good hands. We also saw them a few weeks ago when my daughter swallowed a penny and we wanted to track it via x-rays.They value customer service — it shows through the warm greeting, fast check-in, and throughout the exam. My kids love going here, which sure makes for a great reaction when you suggest going to the doctor.Thanks to all of the staff for taking great care of my family!

The staff were very nice and easy to speak to and were very attentive. I was not waiting long at any point, and I was in and out in an hour.

The front office staff is amazing and listened very much to my concerns about the way our insurance works. They were very accommodating to my concerns as well. My wait time was very short both in the waiting room and in the exam room. The PA was very personable and listened to my symptoms. He was very thorough and had me in and out quickly. I would highly recommend their services.

It can be difficult to schedule a timely appointment with my PCP. Fast aid is quick, affordable and offers excellent medical care.

Had to have my ears cleaned to complete a hearing test. I called them and went that day. They were very professional and courteous and did a thorough job. I feel they took the extra time in their cleaning process as I had a lot of wax buildup. Will definitely return if I need these type of services again. My hearing test was completed the next day!! I called six different urgent care facilities in Bastrop and this is the only one that had people actually answering the phone, instead of sending me to a recording. I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes. They were accurate, fast, and friendly! They have become my new urgent care providers, for sure.

Had some minor cold symptoms and a sore throat. Set up an appointment on line very easy, got in early in the morning. Waited very little. The Doctor was very personable, polite, and professional. He listened to me and provided any excellent roadmap for treatment. Ive been here several times no problems.

Very caring people. One of the best doctor visits I have had in a long time. The front desk people are very nice and helpful! I saw James, PA, and I really felt that he was listening to me and took the time to understand what was going on. A week later when one of my symptoms was not improving, I called to ask what to do, and they called in additional prescriptions to help out. (Again, the front desk (Amber) was so helpful and caring!!!) I just wish I could go to them for every day primary care!

I love Fast Aid! It’s my favorite office in Bastrop. The nurses and doctors are all so sweet, and knowledgeable! I’ve been here countless times for myself and my kids. If I could have this be my primary office I would in a heartbeat. Everything is always very clean. Seriously I can’t say enough good things about this office and the people in it. Ignore the bad reviews, I’ve been in here at least a dozen times and I’ve never had a bad experience.

I needed a simple lab test for a speciality doctor out of town and then have the results faxed to that doctor. Being new to Bastrop, I still did not have a family provider. I tried 3 other clinics to no available. Fast Aid Urgent Care were able to assist me. Even though it was my first time there, the receptionist was able to check me in quickly and so helpful and friendly going through the insurance/paperwork. I was seen promptly and given a thorough check-in of vitals and medical background by both the medical technician and doctor (James). Everyone was so extremely kind, patient, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable! I felt more well cared for than I ever did at my last family practitioner’s office after several years! Awesome experience & highly recommend! A++ in all areas!

Very knowledgeable staff and if have any test that has to be done for flu etc, takes 15 minutes for results. The QRCode you have to scan before you go in pre check in can be a little tough especially if your really sick other than that they are great.

I called and actually talked to a live person. I was a walk in arrived 11:10am was seen in about 15 min for wasp bite above eye which was swollen. Doctor gave me a steroid shot and exited it at 11:48 am! Amazing service and fast, I highly recommend them!

My wife tried to see a GP for a simple sore throat, but was not able to get an appointment for several weeks, and Urgent Care was recommended. Chose FastAid because the reviews were great, and they take Medicare. The facility was spotless, and the staff, from the receptionist to the PA, were friendly and efficient. We were done within less than half-an-hour. Highly recommend them and feel blessed to have such a wonderful care in our area.

Everybody did their job and I appreciate it. Glad theres a place close by where I can get an x-ray. And thankful my pinky toe wasnt broken.

Scam artist charged my wife $150 for there services when she had to come back cause what they did didn’t work they want more money to fix what they did!! Sounds like a scam to me

Excellent service all around. I am a veteran and they knew what they were doing when it came to my urgent care benefits (which was nice for a change). The doctor was very friendly and concerned about my pain. He prescribed me the right medication and I was feeling better within an hour after leaving. Highly recommended!

Yesterday I hurt my thumb pretty bad and it never quit hurting so today I paid a visit to Fast Aide Urgent Care, they got me in and out in about 30 minutes or so.Fast Aid Urgent Care is a very clean and well kept business and everyone was super nice and professional.The receptionist was super nice and had a great personality and even let me snap a pic of her.This is my second trip to this Fast Aid Urgent Care facility and it wont be my last, Im kinda accident prone!Thanks Fast Aid Urgent Care!

The two times I’ve been here I’ve had great experiences with the staff. Both the doctor and the physician’s assistant I saw were attentive and didn’t make me feel rushed, and took my concerns seriously. Definitely would recommend!

We just moved to the area. Excellent service! Clean and new facility. Took my child for a ear infection. We got there right at 9 am. Was in and out quickly. A good thing for something simple. I saw that they X-ray there. They are also offering lower prices for self pay coming August 2019. Thank you for taking good care of my child!

Customer service this good is very rare. The nursing staff and my doctor were personable, knowledgeable and cared.The best part was the QR scanner in reception . I scanned my phone, went and had lunch while I was waiting on my name to be called which I received with the text.... Amazing customer service

I love this place! Even the ER @ the local hospital couldn’t top this facility when it comes to “minor” emergency issues. They’re fast, professional, clean & every team member is warm & compassionate. They listen to your concerns & put a plan in action into place. You won’t leave without a resolution. I’ve had to bring both my teenager & my infant here when they were sick on two separate occasions & both times I left w/ a smile knowing that my kids were on the road to recovery.

The service I was received was absolutely amazing; however my five star review comes from reading the owners responses to the negative reviews. Sounds like my kinda person we should be friends. Lol! This place is hands down the best urgent care place I have ever been! So very fast and not like they are trying to rush to get you out the door. Like you check in at the counter and before you sit they are calling you back to a room. Doc is very up front on what the deal is on your sickness and options for meds. And when we lost our insurance for a few months they told how we could save and what each test would do for us and how much it would cost. Now we dont like to go anywhere else.

The staff were all kind, caring and professional. They are working like a well-oiled machine through all the Covid testing and vaccinating and just helping patients get better. I am very impressed by the cleanliness of all areas of the clinic. They are truly unsung heros for the Bastrop area! There was a wait to be seen, but much less than one I have experienced anywhere else in the past 2 years.

Great place! Needed to take my grandson somewhere due to he was running fever & wasn’t feeling well. Getting into a dr office would have taken a few days. The nurses are great, the front desk clerk was awesome and the Dr. was also great. Wasn’t to busy when we arrived. Plus my grandsons copay was the same to go to a dr. We were in & out pretty quick. We’ll go here again if ever needed.

Update:The PA explained to me on how a new patient takes longer to check in because my insurance needs to be verified. Which makes sense and now I understand but as I was leaving she tells me, we don’t have to serve you. I’m sick I don’t feel well so waiting outside did a toll on me and when I finally got inside I was in my emotions about the other guy getting seen first. I thought about erasing this review because she was right about the insurance but when she said we don’t have to serve you that did it for me. My review was exactly what happened.I waited in line for one hour outside a man showed up behind me in line 35 minutes after I had already been waiting. When they let us in the building he was seen first because he was a pre existing patient. They have a sign on the door to form a line which to me means they go in order. When they called him back I told them I was here first and the medical assistant proceeded to tell me that because I’m a new patient I have to wait longer. I will never come back. Is this how you treat new patients? I guess you serve your pre existing patients better

This was my first visit to an urgent care facility. I was kind of nervous because is so used to seeing his primary care doctor. It was a simple and easy check in. PA and nurse were really great and attentive with my son. Thanks for a quick and easy visit.

We have used the location on Bulverde 3 times in the past year and have recommended it to family. Every experience has been great! We have come in for Covid testing (negative twice and positive once). On one visit we stood in line that went around the building but it was still handled professionally and a good experience overall (and that was the visit we tested positive).All of the doctors and medical tech’s are friendly and professional. There is one Hispanic front desk gentle man who has a consistent bad attitude - but once past him everyone is amazing. He’s not here today so even better. I’m still giving this location 5 stars because in spite of that one negative person everyone else is amazing and the service is wonderful and fast.

This was a wonderful experience! The wait time was short, the staff was very empathetic and made sure I did not need any additional assistance. This visit reminded me of when doctors cared about their patients and not just about the money. I cant say thank you enough. I feel great now.

After waiting two hours to get NO service at Seton Ascension ER for a laceration, I went to Fast Aid Urgent Care and was met with kind and professional personnel to handle my matter fairly quick. Fast Aid Urgent Care should be considered the standard when their services are needed. They expedited my needs immediately and with a smile. Hands down, Fast Aid Urgent Care should be first choice when medical emergencies happen.

This is the Best place for urgent care in Bastrop! I have been here numerous times and taken my daughter here a lot too. My daughter developed a rash about a week ago and had been complaining of leg pain in her left leg for over a week. We were out of town this weekend and the rash spread down her left leg. It was Sunday and I was anxious for an answer but didn’t want to take her to an emergency room. We just got back in town at 4:30 and made it to the clinic at 4:45 I could see they were cleaning the windows and closing up. I rolled the window down and asked the lady if they were closed and she said yes but asked what we needed to be seen for. I explained about my daughter and she said they could see her. I understand being in customer service all of my life how rude it is to come to a business right before they close. I apologized but the lady said it was okay. I could tell she was a little frustrated but she wasn’t rude. Honestly I would have been the same way. Everyone there was professional and polite. I kept apologizing and explaining why were there so late. The provider came in and listened to my concerns with empathy and looked at her rash. He diagnosed her with Shingles. I was perplexed as how she could have gotten shingles since she is vaccinated for the chicken pox and has never had the chicken pox. He explained it was rare but could happen. I was sad for my daughter because there is no treatment but relieved to have an answer. I did follow up with her primary pediatrician just to make sure and they confirmed the diagnosis. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff and provider for seeing her late on a Sunday! I will continue to use FastAid!!!!

I went here yesterday to see what was going on with my leg. It was quick, the staff was extremely friendly, the doctor knew exactly what it was and told me how he was going to treat it. Very informative was caring and concerned. This is my new urgent care. Highly recommended it. He has a heart for the community of Bastrop and their health issues.

I love this place. The staff is extremely friendly and very professional. I recently had bronchitis and went to the other urgent care in town on my lunch break. After being told there was a two and a half hour wait I remembered I had seen signs for this new clinic right across from Bucees. I came over and there was no wait. Tonight both of my teenagers were sick with completely different symptoms. Again we were seen right away and received excellent care. My son tested positive for strep and my daughter had an ear infection and a lingering cough. Luckily they could do x-rays on site to make sure there was no pneumonia. With other clinics I’ve been to I feel like they just write a prescription for antibiotics without truly getting the right diagnosis. I didn’t feel that way here at all. We will definitely be back. They do sports physicals too!

Never thought I would give an urgent care 5 stars but FastAid was just that! Urgently en route home from Austin to Houston on Christmas Eve we needed to get our 2 year old checked for a high fever. They answered the phone and gave us a time estimate, took us in within 30 min of waiting and had us out within 30-45 with a flu check onsite. PA on call was helpful and thorough, staff was very welcoming and nice. Clean facilities, would definitely recommend!

I went to Fast Aid Urgent Care for the first time last week, as I could not get an appointment with anyone at my primary care physicians office. I wasnt sure, but will now use them faithfully. Dr. Jackson was the best. Not only do they accept insurance (co-pay is a little more for urgent care - not much), but they can see / treat you when you need to see a doctor. The staff is terrific, service is fast, location for me is great; and, when youre feeling really bad, its a fantastic place to go. Thank you Dr. Jackson for your help. Karen Seidel

If you need to be seen by a doctor and you do not have several days to wait for an appointment, I recommend Fast Aid Urgent Care in Bastrop, Texas. Fast Aid is on the corner of Highway 95 and Highway 71. Across the road from Buc-ees gas station, in the strip-mall beside Popeyes Chicken. The staff and medical personnel at First Aid Urgent Care in Bastrop are all very nice, professional, caring, understanding, and quick.. Sometimes it takes several days to get an appointment with your regular doctor. And most times whatever is ailing you is not severe enough to make a trip to the emergency room.

You all are great have done amazing with me and my family!! Keep up the great work! AND FAST SERVICE!!!

My little one ended up with a horrible sore throat on a Sunday morning. Everyone from the person that answered the phone to the doctor that treated were all very nice, professional and helpful. It was a very streamlined process. Smiles all around even on a Sunday!! Would definitely recommend. My daughter ended up needing antibiotics and by the time I left and contacted HEB they had already been sent. Really can’t say enough good things.

Fast care when you cant get in anywhere else. Yes, waiting outside in the heat is pretty bad but it is what they have to do to maintain distance and see everyone without appointments. My son and I needed to be tested for covid and this was the only place we could both get in the same day. All the staff was very friendly and explained everything.

I was very happy with the service. The gentleman up front and the nurse were very friendly. I was in and out within 10 minutes. They said they would call me within 15 minutes and they did with the results of my test. I would use Fast Aid again.

Went in for my son, he was just not feeling right. The front receptionist , the nurse and the PA were so wonderful with us. Very quick service. I will definitely take myself and my kids there in an emergency situation.

No wait when I walked in; I was seen within 5 minutes so Im happy with that. Nurse did all my vitals and a swab for strep. That was negative so he came back to swab for flu. Long wait before the result came back positive. Total visit time was an hour, which seems a little long but I had tv to watch and they provided water so I was comfortable. Id go back for sure. Every one was very professional and courteous.

Went in this past Sunday when my son had a stye. He was seen and treated quickly. The doctor was gentel with my son. The staff was very pleasant and caring. I would recommend them anytime your needing to be seen and your regular doctor is unavailable.

Ive been here multiple times and theyre always so nice. I cant imagine the volume of sick, unruly people they see here and they always treat me like Im important. I asked to see the provider this time, and she was incredibly kind and attentive.

This is a great place. I definitely recommend Fast Aid. They are friendly, helpful and efficient. Despite the fact that I cut my hand by improperly using a box cutter, nobody laughed... Charlie the PA did a fine job sewing it up like a baseball. I even got my flu shot while I was there. This will be my go to place for minor emergencies in the future.

I love ❤️ this place more than I can say.The healing and service that go on here are superb and extremely trustworthy.Jackson put 18 stitches in my arm in a way that made recovery a breeze. The fees are excellent ($120.00) and are listed right up front. These people could not save me in Feb. when I was forced to go to Seton Ascension( because Jackson felt Exrays would be required but instead I had a nightmare experience at Seton and was really mishandled, treated rudely, with dangerous results for what Jackson had done beautifully upon another visit for (120.00) Seton would mangle the process and the experience for just under $5000.00. I went back here for stitches removal and received real healing and quality wound care absolutely making a sham of Seton. I am going to try to fight Seton for malpractice. Thank you all for astounding breakthroughs in medical care and billing. The other hospitals in town are guilty of dangerous medical predation and extremely shoddy service.

Ive heard good things, went and took my daughters in and I love everything about this urgent care, will be going back...I highly recommend it...if I could rate higher than 5 I would. Finally found a place thats worth going when family gets sick and my doctors office doesnt have any openings. The office is very clean and organized.

I love this place! There is rarely any wait at all, the staff is really friendly and the doctors and PAs are very knowledgeable and professional. I’ve taken 2 family members there and have gone for myself. Oddly, the copay is cheaper here that at my GP’s office. Bastrop is really lucky to have this place!

Im not from this area at all, my kids got sick and FastAid was there completely. Incredibly friendly staff. Never felt more welcomed at a drsoffiDrs before. Would highly recommend going here for any quick treatments. Or even if your not from the area. This is the best place to go to.

We have seen several doctors here. Two of them are fantastic, thorough and kind. One man, however is a fear monger. He told me I might have cancer and he told my daughter she may have meningitis and could die. She was given no medicine and he did not listen to her symptoms. Two days later, we went back and she had a small case of pneumonia. Just make sure you do not get him and you will have an amazing PA that is knowledgeable and thorough.

I was well cared for by everyone involved.

Unsure how there are so many high ratings at this place. The guy at the front desk was nice. I did have one laugh with the nurse. They did nothing abnormal. But the experience I had with the doctor was VERY unprofessional. I saw the doctor after a couple swab tests. Both came out negative (strep/another bacterial one), but I have been in miserable pain for over a month. I knew I had to come to urgent care ASAP, due to troubles breathing, etc. I couldn’t wait until my actual doctor appointment. When he first saw me, it seemed fairly normal. I described what was wrong, and then it just felt like he seemed sort of weary of what I was saying, like I didn’t know my own body. I was friendly, despite feeling a little strange about it. When he closed the door I clearly heard him say “UGHH! Oh my GOD!” ... This was super confusing to me and made me feel worse. I was already in pain, came in during COVID times, needed help, and that seemed like I wasn’t being taken seriously. When he came back, he said both results came back negative so it was probably just “allergies.” I told him I’ve had allergies my entire life and this is actually extreme pain just in the last month of my digestive system. I’m not going to go into detail here, but it’s been really bad. After I told him that I definitely know it’s something more than allergies he said, verbatim, “Well that’s just your opinion.” WHAT??? I told him it was not my “opinion” that I’ve been feeling horrible and know it’s more than allergies. That was INCREDIBLY unprofessional to say. After everything, he basically told me to gargle salt water and see someone else. I was there for two hours. I wasted time here. I was quite frazzled and frustrated. Although I wasn’t expecting some cure, I was expecting some type of “urgent” care at an urgent care place. That’s why I went. I spent money to be told to gargle some salt water and that my pain was just my opinion. Maybe others have had fine experiences, but this was one of the most unprofessional doctor experiences of my life. Maybe the most. He seemed very patronizing. Won’t be back, although I’m sure they don’t care. That’s okay. I may even be berated for this review. Sorry, but I 100% felt this way, as a human being paying for urgent care. I actually came to this location specifically because of the high reviews. I really don’t understand. I’m a pretty easy-going fella. It just doesn’t feel good to be in pain and then feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously, although I was being kind and describing all my symptoms thoroughly. :(Edit: I only had a blood test and strep test? I even have the receipt. If there were more tests, I was really not aware. Thank you for your reply, I just wasn’t really told anything that I wasn’t already doing before. Just to keep taking my OTC PPI’s and the salt-water thing. I will see my PCP though and hopefully get things sorted out. I was just VERY worried and that’s why I wanted to come first thing. The doctor, nurses and lab techs were great! They were so patient with me when I was hurting so bad. They took me back before I finished the paperwork and listened to what was bothering me. They were very thorough in trying to figure out what was causing my pain. I highly recommend them.

They quickly helped my daughter after we were able to get in. They lost a point because their systems would not allow us to complete paperwork before they were open so we had to sit there and fill everything out delaying treatment and leaving my daughter in pain.

Went to a different urgent care, filled out information and waited for 30 minutes for them to tell me they didnt have a provider and that they had to lock the door til one arrived.Went to Fast Aid and they staff was friendly and got in and out of there in 30 minutes. I recommend this place to everyone. Love you guys at Fast Aid!

Very friendly front desk, nurses and doctor showed concern and addressed my symptoms. Highly recommend.

The building and personal were very nice. The PA-C Chelsea Jecmenek was very informative. She gave me the correct medicine that I needed to get feeling better. Even though I am not completely well. I will be going back her if needed.

Id consider my children and I frequent flyers here lol. Theres three of them, and since covid has begun its been impossible for me to get sick visits through their pediatrician in a timely manner. Staff across-the-board is always kind and efficient. Although not a pediatric facility, theyre always so patient and kind with my littles. Thank you 💜

My husband went in there because something in one of his ear that bothered him. He assumed it was wax build up. He was seen by a PA and then the technician tried to use some kind of squirt gun to remove the wax. They did not do anything for him. We had doubt on the technician if she really knew what she was doing. Waste of money.

Took our sons in on 2 separate days because they had the flu. We were seen quickly both times, tests done and a prescription for the medicines they needed in 30mins. I will always go here over the ER and I always recommend them 😁

I would highly recommend Fast Aid in Bastrop. I have taken my daughter several times and myself. The staff is friendly and always gets us in and out in a timely manner. Weve never been there more than 30 minutes at the most.
