Awful! Dont go to this clinic! Every time Ive tried to make an appointment, Ive waited for 3 hours and in the end they dont help me because they are too busy when from the waiting room I can hear the workers just hanging out and laughing.Its very unfortunate that they play with peoples time. I hope someone can solve this problem or find more qualified people.

The waiting sucked but it definitely didnt make my first visit unpleasant. Friendly staff and I think its cool that they seem completely neutral and empathetic at the same time, if that makes sense, I really appreciate that...

Would give five stars because everyone is sweet until the surgeon come in who you don’t get to meet until he does the actual procedure they DONT put you to sleep and expect you to endure the pain of a baby coming out of you . It was so traumatic. I will never forget the pain of them sucking the baby out of me , and for them to have a MAN to tell me to keep my legs open through all this pain is crazy he wouldn’t even be able to relate . You guys need to put people to sleep ! Going by peoples bmi don’t make sense bc bmi doesn’t have anything to do with a pain tolerance or drug tolerance! Some people are used to drugs some are not that was only thing unprofessional hire doctors that care about the patient pain ! He never even introduced himself i don’t even know who did this to me !

Everyone was very helpful and nice, they made me feel very comfortable with my procedure and I dont remember her name but she was the nurse in surgery with me, she was super sweet, knew I was nervous and made sure I was okay and even held my hand the whole time. The girls in the recovery area were very attentive as well, i felt so safe and cared for. Thank you so much for everything you guys do, will definitely recommend and will go back for any medical service.

They didn’t greet meet . My appointment was at 11 and someone went in before me I was here first . Staff was talking a lot not happy with the results

I was poked 3 times till they were finally able to find a vein 3 times this is my first time here and they have already given me a very bad experience

I showed up for my appointment during my lunch and the system to check insurance was down so they were unable to get me in. They were quick to reschedule the next day so that was nice. Once I got there it took an hour from my appointment time to get me in. Then another 45 mins for the different steps before seeing the doctor. It was a series of waiting rooms. Breanna took my blood and did a wonderful job. All the ladies involved were nice. The doctor seemed to not be interested in answering my questions. He didnt seem interested in helping me understand. Im still left confused and will have to see someone else who will take the time to sit down and help me understand and be thorough in listening and explanation. After all Im not the one who went to medical school. Anyway, probably will avoid coming here again if I have to. I give three stars because the system was not their fault and they did reschedule me for the next day, although I had to explain the urgency of my appointment in order to get rescheduled sooner than later. Breanna did an amazing job taking my blood. And the ladies were friendly and in good spirits.

Always love coming in for appointments because they usually have availability within a few days of calling. I love how all my Healthcare needs are met by the kind and understanding people who work here. I was told they dont accept donations, but as long as the staff knows what they do is appreciated thats all I can really ask for.Dont let the name fool you, even being labeled as Womens Health, they do provide services to men or people of any gender. If youre looking for somewhere nice to go for an STD screening, annual appointment, or just have questions regarding birth control options, I thoroughly recommend this facility.Theyve helped me so much throughout the years. Thank you, FPA.

Staff is very friendly, the clinic itself has a calming atmosphere. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and made sure I know what was going on every step of the way through out my appointment.

I went in as aWalk in early morning , the girl upfront said their was no more slots open I told her my concerns and why I wanted to be seen and she schedule me around 1pm I was so nervous everyone there is so nice the NP that did my breast exam saw how nervous I was and she helped me calm down I have never felt so welcome and important I didn’t feel dumb telling her my concerns allMy questions got answered thank you to the NP Nicole May God bless her and her family!

The best fast easy good confidential, the best definitely to get birth control and off birth control and helping you to do the best choice and what’s best for you happy with my results. I definitely recommend it and I will go back again if I need it in the future thank you FPA and to the whole staff.

They are the best the lady’s are welcoming and nice they make you feel safe to share.

This clinic is super friendly and welcoming!! I had so many questions regarding birth control and the staff was more than happy to help provide all the info needed and give personal feedback. Nancy was just one of the ladies who helped me at FPA but there were literally so many other girls who made me feel comfortable and genuinely wanted to help. I was constantly asked if I was okay and felt comfortable. I felt cared for and would 100% recommend this place.

The building is very clean and the girls are phenomenal. They are very kind, patient, understanding, and very informative. They don’t rush you and are honestly the absolute sweetest. Wait time is the norm for any appointment. If you are there for a procedure, wait time will be a bit longer but you need to take into consideration all of the information they must verify, blood work/urine samples that need to be done. It takes time. And you may not be the only one there for a procedure. The only negative are the obnoxious holier than thou protestors. Don’t pay them any attention, they are against birth control and everything about this place. It’s only ever a handful.

Very best clinic I’ve been too. I’ve had many doctors before trying to address my ovarian cysts and I was run around in circles, never could get a straight answer and never could get an ultrasound appointment. As soon as I came here I told them my concerns and immediately ordered me a same day ultrasound. I received all my ultrasound pictures and the NP explained everything very thoroughly to me. At other Dr offices I just felt like another patient they had to get through. Here everyone is so friendly so professional and very welcoming. I would give 100 stars if I could. They offer so many amazing services please take advantage!!!

I absolutely love this clinic. They are always prompt and nice. They keep me comfortable and its always clean. My favorite person is Jaime. Shes always so nice and comforting. She always keeps me laughing and an all around wonderful person. Great facility and great workers.

The workers are all nice very nice and fast they are all very organized and the clean, very sanitized they made me feel very comfortable and there was this one particular nurse she was awesome..I wish I remember her name....just want to thank all the workers for taking extra time for making me feel like my life is important...

I went here for my regular yearly check-up and loved everything about this place. From calling to make the appt to coming in, to walking out the door - everybody was super nice. Jaime was especially kind, making me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be coming here from now on for all myfemale medical needs.

Very professional. Polite and very caring. She didnt make me feel bad or u comfortable able even being in the building. The staff is fast paced and very friendly. Made me feel like it was just a trip to the normal doctor. I was here to get the birth control taken out of my arm.

Got an IUD. I’ve heard of horror stories of how painful it is; so, I was quite fearful! The NP was incredibly gentle and worked quickly/efficiently. A little uncomfortable, but tolerable!

First time there & it was super quick, all workers were very nice & made me feel comfortable.

Jamie was great, made me very comfortable & followed up with me quickly when I had a concern. The staff was nice & my office visit was pretty quick.

Jamie is really helpful she is a treatment coordinator and I loved her. It all depends who’s on front desk sometimes they are extremely nice and sometimes theres one who really doesn’t care about patients but overall they are willing to help you and are nice.

Staff is really nice and makes you feel comfortable. There was only about two or three other girls at the same time as me and it went pretty quick just make sure you make your appt at a slow hour. I would recommend this place!

I was so nervous to remove my IUD. However, the Dr. was knowledgeable and provided me with comfort towards the procedure. I switched my birth control method to pills and was given a prescription without any hassle. I appreciate all the staff their! Thank you for allowing women to feel empowered with their own bodies.

I went here and got two ultrasounds done with a week apart and each one I got told they couldn’t see nothing. But I knew something was not right. 3 days after being told nothing was seen in my ultrasound, I went to the hospital just to be told I needed emergency surgery. I wouldn’t recommend.

We were told our visit would be about 2 hours. After *4 HOURS* I asked how much longer would we be waiting to even be seen. They lady said still a while that there were still 3 people ahead and the Dr went to lunch and he was also seeing his own people on the side. Why make an appointment at 9:40 when at 2:00 you still havent been seen?!

Incredible staff, very effect and compassionate. Extremely helpful with financial aid, just overall the people where wonderful. There where A LOT of patients there so it took a long time, but totally worth the waitin my opinion. Bring a book and hang in there (:

I love the service I receive here. Everyone is very kind and patient and most of the time Im in and out quickly. My single complaint, which is not something they can control, are the obsessive anti-abortion nuts who stand outside and yell things at you. Otherwise, Id say five stars for the actual care!

Its so nice there. Be sure to bring a jacket when you visit though. Dont expect a quick in and out, i had an appointment at 3:30 and its 5:18 and I am still here. Depends on what your doing though. But the women who take the time out of their day to help us are all beautiful and funny and nice. But the wait is really ridiculous. Takes FOREVER! But its worth it at the end of the day...sometimes...

My MA Nancy made me feel very comfortable, she went into great detail about all the different birth control options I had . She spoke to me in a way that I knew she actually genuinely care for her patients and I appreciate that so much . Great job Nancy !!

My experience at FPA is always a million times more comforting and also honestly enjoyable when I am lucky enough to sit with Jamie. She is super upbeat and makes conversation so easy…no matter the subject. 💕

Everyone here was super kind and informative. All of my questions were answered and everyone from the receptionist to the doctor really seemed to care for my wellbeing. The wait was a little long but I understand why. After all you want thorough care. Thank you for everything!!

I have been coming here for a few years now and the girls are all so professional and very kind. They all make the visit there super comfortable and welcoming. I still havent experienced a bad visit! I definitely recommend 1000% Thank You all for your hard work!

The staff here are very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend FPA in the future. It is true the wait time is a bit long, but with a book and music it goes by fast. Despite the longer wait, I would still recommend them for great healthcare.

There are Pro life protesters Waiting to yell and scream at you as soon as you get out your car, the waiting time is anywhere from 4-5 hours and if your still here at 12:45 waiting to be seen you have to wait an additional 30 minutes for the staff to come back from lunch. On top of all of that they don’t even call the patients in order of their appointment time. Would not recommend.

Overall good service ! protesters outside so beware, be prepared to be there a bit just for tests and stuff, and bring a jacket !! it gets cold lol.

My appt was at 8:45a.m didnt leave there until. Noon. Everyone there was nice except the nurse I dont know if she was having a bad day but she was very rude. Rule number 1 of customer service never be rude to any customer/patient.

I received an skyla while I visited, I was so scared I passed out. Luckily I was surrounded with amazing staff who helped me out in any way they could, they went above and beyond to make me feel better. Couldnt of asked for a better appointment. (:

I went for the surgical procedure and yes it does take a long time but there is a lot of girls & i dont think a procedure like that you want rushed on yourself or anyone else. The girls in recovery were so kind especially a blonde haired girl she seen me crying a lil & was so caring & kind. Never seen myself doing something like that but they sure made it easier . The worst thing about this clinic is the protesters & they have no control over that. Yes everyone has an opinion I respect that but they dont have a right to an opinion over my body my life or my choices they dont know every girls problems.

My nurse was Nancy and she was so cool made me feel comfortable and didn’t make me feel judged like the lady who stands outside yelling at the women coming inOverall a good appointment

Id rather be here than a busy ob/gyn Office. I compliment the clean environment smells great. I also want top compliment on the way they treat you vs busy rude medical staff at ob/gyn. Free condoms, Next day pill, birth control, STDs testing they have the works here. Get it taken care of ladies this is the place.

The wait wasn’t long and I got most of my questions answered. I would definitely recommend this facility if you’re in need of women’s health care services. I do advise that you learn all that you can about your potential health issues so that you’ll be ready to direct your concerns/questions to the health professionals here :)

Horrible place to come to get birth control removed!! Why schedule an appointment at 2:20 and not get called back till an hour later to sit and wait almost another hour in a room to be seen. Heres the kicker they arent even busy!! I highly DONT recommend this place to anyone!! Planned parenthood is way better!! Good luck to whomever comes here!! 🤦‍♀️

I love this office as the drs are very greeting the office is always clean and they are very quick to check you in but the only downside is the wait even with appointment the wait is still a little long but hoping they work that out soon.

They have great medical staff and they actually listen to your needs. The only thing that concerns me is the people outside who accuse almost anyone even if you are against abortion. One thing is that a human being doesnt have the right to judge you.

Im only giving the one star that I gave them, because they did help me get insurance, but besides that they told me my appt would go fairly quick, I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes, then the next waiting room for an hour and 30 minutes, now Im in a room waiting for the provider and it is currently going on hour 2 hours and 15 and counting, not to mention it is extremely hot in these rooms, and all the staff keeps saying is 15 more minutes, dont want to reschedule, because I have already sat this long......I do not recommend this place to a soul

FPA has always given me really great customer service experiences. Everyone there is always so nice. The wait times aren’t bad either.

Bakersfield REALLY needs to do better man this place is ridiculous. No lie when EVERYONE says the same thing about wait time and service: after lobby check in wait time:1hr after screen wait time:1hr28min to be checked in room to be seen...no one talks to you they just spill routine information and dont see the person.

Love the staff, hate the pro life advocates outside yelling however they’re great for birth control or abortion which ever. Their wait time is long but never any issues

My whole experience was terrible

I went to get a birth control implant and I was welcomed with open arms and gabby was very sweet was I was asking about all the information about it overall was a great experience

I hate this please because they have overlooked my test results in 2016 they told me that everything was fine and it wasn’t I developed PID in 2017 not understanding why I had developed this disease but it was brought to my attention in July 2020 with a new provider At this location that I was never treated for a positive STD in 2016 even though I was given treatment in 2017 by the hospital I didn’t know that I had any kind of STD at all and was apparently passing it back-and-forth between me and my boyfriend this whole entire time this explains why I never got better so I am personally really upset with the FPA I would not recommend going there at all

Dont waste your time coming here. Its the worst place a pregnant woman can go to get an ultrasound. Theyre rude and they dont care if they hurt you when doing an transvaginal ultrasound.

Rude ladies. Ignore you. If you make an appt at 7 am you dont actually have one until 8am which is why they are so backed up. Go to your actually OB or get an actual OB so you dont have to deal with this.

Dec 29, Horrible I have been here since 9:30 am and it is now 11:30 and Im still waiting I, havent even been called to even be seen, ridiculous honestly how hard is it to run an insurance check everything is a go take the patient to the back and get a simple depo shot honestly , I have things to do I have to go to my daily job THIS SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS DAM LONG place is garbage

My appointment was for 12:50 and i didnt get called until 2:00. I waited an hour and they tell me they cant see me because im pregnant ? Isnt this place called family planning? Ridiculous

Slow staff!!.. if you make an appointment with them expect to wait 3-4 hours.... its RIDICULOUS.. Planned Parenthood is way better, the max you will ever wait in their office is about 20 minutes
