Clinica Sierra Vista - East Niles Community Health Center

Horribly rude and inconsiderate staff. They seem to treat the mental health of patients like something disposable. I was just turned away after a nearly two hour drive for being ten minutes late. Unfortunately coming from that far a distance traffic and such is unpredictable. I was unable to schedule a new appointment because I am about to go out of the country for work. I understand this situation is unusual but they refused to schedule a virtual option for me.I was sent away with no answers. No new appointment whatsoever.

Did my pregnancy care here and they were not caring at all. They didn’t care for my results of a test which made me have a very high risk pregnancy. They ended up sending me to Kern medical where the real drs are. One of the drs there who is “good” at ultrasounds, was rude and called me fat. Please if you go there for pregnancy care, be careful.

They are very consistent on the same thing, they are not organized, one day theyll say Ill notify the Dr....months later after calls still the same, w medication, etc etc..they need new management or shut the place down.

I received my prenatal care here for my 2nd pregnancy after relocating to Bakersfield. I would not go through them again, however.My biggest issue is I was never informed that in the event of needing a C section, the doctors here do not perform them- or so I was told when it came down to a complicated labor resulting in an Emergency C section.I never had a certain Dr, I would have been fine in alternating Doctors in the practice so I was familiar with them prior to delivery however I literally saw a different doctor every single visit and only saw 2 of them more than once in this time.My biggest concern was I feel like no one ever knew what was going on. Id be told group B strep test will be done at your next visit and then the next visit the next Dr would say next weekuntil its not done till 3 weeks after when I was told. This happened with bloodwork, pap smear, membrane sweep, ultrasounds, etc.I also feel like they need CASE MANAGEMENT. or someone to follow up with the patient about their care. There was not that so I never knew who to even talk to. Or who to bring concerns to, and no one seemed to know.Im really disappointed with this place especially after I felt dumped to deliver with someone else and couldnt tell you who delivered my baby.

Horrible wait and they seem to not care if you been waiting for so long and its in the middle of nowhere bad service for starters on my first appointment

Amazing 5 star treatment,Dr beare and miss alma are the best ever ...love having u guys on my team ... If I can give a higher rating I would I want to say 10 out of 5 you guys are amazing you guys have saved my life from addiction thank you guys

In 2017, there Behavioral Health services would not accept me because of my insurance. I was dealing with a lot of issues that year that no one helped me with these issues I was dealing with in 2017, after the year I went back to Kaiser Permanente.

Be aware that this is a teaching clinic and you are seeing a student doctor that is unable to make his/her own decisions. When you make an appointment they do not inform you of this. Underserved communities should not be used as living anatomical figures to learn from. It is deceiving to not outright inform the community you serve that they will be treated by a student and not a fully licensed to practice physician. This is why I gave 1 star. My healthcare was delayed 5 months by an indecisive student whose supervising physician was always different and suggesting different things.

Very difficult to make an appointment, not answering phone calls, when you walk inside the clinic, employees at the front counter absolutely doing nothing.Terrible service.

Behavioral health department is the best. For regular doctors visits not so much. For some employees its a paycheck and not about caring for patients. Insurance is key , I guess 🤷

Avoid this place like if it was the plague,they dont care about the community only their oockets.I went in and walked out not recieving the care I was expecting.Called their corporate office left a message a week ago and no response, from them.René

I really love this place so clean and dont wait long not like the others. My doctor was so nice and didnt rush.

They were all so sweet here and they got me in and out. Where polite but straight to the point overall I have a great experience!

This place is horrible.We waited over 2 hours for a FLU SHOT and over 2 hours after a appointment.The residents are incompetent and have to ask their superiors for simple medical assistant knowledge.This place is a joke,doesnt take walkins and is understaffed.Go some where else

Thats what you call first and make an appointment this is a good Hospital I dont care what anyone thats why you always call and make an appointment they were very good to me

The doctors didn’t care to help me. They were rushed and didn’t let me speak on how I was feeling.

Always polite on their toes.took care of everything at one time...saw drs.and did labs..all in one day..thank u

Dont try and call after 4pm on Fridays! i guess the front desk doesnt understand that they answer the phone till closing which is 530.

My favorite clinic so far! The staff is friendly and attend patients fast!

Second time they don’t register my appointment, long waits, and bad attitudes.

I had an appointment at the clinic on 34 but I didnt see it and they gave me one at this clinic, they never told me that they were residents, trainees) I was going to get the IUD and I had 4 people with me, they hurt me which they have no idea, even recording of the pain and I asked them if they were apprehensive about me, one of them answered yes, I told them it hurts a lot, only the licensed doctor could treat me, even so they hurt me a lot and told me that my body wouldnt let me, they have put it on me 4 times and never, ever has it hurt even 3 percent like today, and I think that they are not specialized at all in the work that they make the worst experience of my life

I dont understand how, being a clinic, they cant answer calls, they tell you they will return your call but they never do, so why are they supposed to have receptionists? If it is to answer calls, it will be to attend to customers.
