Disappointing Experience with Total Mens Care:I would not recommend Total Mens Care due to their poor post-visit follow-up and disorganized referral process. Despite a good initial visit, the provider failed to respond to my messages after the visit. It took them a week to refer me to a neurologist, who then told me they dont offer the treatment I needed and sent me back to my provider. Two weeks passed, but my provider still hadnt found a new referral.When I called Total Mens Care, they told me I had a follow-up appointment scheduled, but didnt address my concerns. I had to undergo duplicate blood work and appointments for another issue, and even then, the treatment plan discussion was delayed. I had to call back again to request a callback from the provider.Overall, my experience was frustrating and disjointed, with too much time wasted on inefficient communication and referrals.

My previous doctor closed his practice so I was looking for someone to do my annual wellness check. These folks were great! Everyone was friendly and the appointment was efficient. They drew blood onsite. Even scheduled an in-person follow up to review results. This will be my new primary care office!

Overall, it was a great experience. It was one of the better Total Mens health clinics Ive visited. I didnt have to wait before I was called to the back, and there was almost no wait time to be seen. The NP Mauras had an excellent bedside manner, was very professional, and was easy to talk to.The blood draw was also smooth, with no pain or bruising afterward. I cant say the same at other Total Mens clinics Ive been to.

Nope, going to a real doctor. Place was dirty. The assistants looked like they just rolled out of bed. She tried to draw blood twice and was unable to get blood from my vein. As soon as the needle came out blood was coming out of my arm. I was told I would need to reschedule for a blood draw. Amatuers, dont waste your time!

I’m impressed. It was easy to get an appointment and they took my insurance. Everyone I interacted with was professional and easy to work with. The provider who saw me was knowledgeable and was a good communicator.

Amazing service. No wait time, answered all my questions, helped me understand everything and super friendly welcoming environment.

Doctors office run like a fraternity. 1000% unorganized chaos. I stopped going there because they misdiagnosed me and made me think I had a serious disease. They would also constantly screw up my prescriptions and send me texts for appointments I never made. I still receive bogus texts from them and I have not been a patient there in a very long time. When you tell the employees they just shrug and tell you their systems suck and are broken. Its not their fault. They seem powerless to help.

Was able to get a same day appointment no problem! Nurse was kind and relatable and the doctor was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I asked questions.

I would give 0 star if I can.Had a really bad experience with the receptionist at this office. He messed up my appointment twice by using wrong insurance info, and had made me reschedule my appointments. He is also very unprofessional, hold me waiting at front desk while he is on the phone, which later then told me I was late to my appointment. His attitude is utterly horrible and worst customer service I had ever seen. Will never go back to this office, ever!

I had my annual primary check last year which was positive and as expected, so when I started having symptoms of a possible UTI this year, I quickly scheduled an appointment at Total Men’s. My appointment was on Thursday. I went in, did the test, the provider said it was likely a UTI but the results would take a day or two to come in, but was working on Saturday and would call me. I was surprised it would take a few days to get medication, but ultimately didn’t think too much of it.By Saturday my pain had seriously increased. The office closed at 1pm, so I called several times between 11:30-12:30 and left one message to see if there was any update on the lab results. No one ever answered the phone or called me back. Later that afternoon I was emailed the test results directly from the lab. After a quick Google, it became clear that the results confirmed the UTI. However, the Total Men’s office was closed for the weekend, so the results could not be reviewed by the provider until Monday. The Total Men’s website mentioned an “After Hours Care” service for needs outside of normal hours. I clicked through to this hoping to talk to anyone who could prescribe my medication, but was just sent to the normal appointment scheduling system which said there was nothing available (because they were closed). This “After Hours Care” service apparently does not actually exist. By now it’s Sunday and my symptoms are almost unbearable.On Monday morning I call in immediately to talk to the provider so I can get my prescription. I’m told that I will have to schedule an appointment to be able to discuss the results (a necessary step in order to get my prescription) and that they don’t have anything open until Wednesday (two days from now). At this point I am beyond angry and upset and insist on speaking to the provider. The front desk person says I can get into another location today, but then finds out that the other provider would require me to get another urine test, essentially starting over and delaying medication further. Finally he’s able to get me in that same morning for a telemedicine call with the provider. The call takes about 5 minutes, nothing out of the ordinary, and he prescribes me antibiotics for the UTI.In the end I’m charged for both the initial visit/tests as well as the official follow-up call that was “required” in order to get antibiotics, which I finally received 5 days after my initial appointment and 7 days after my initial symptoms appeared. It’s clear that the only reason an official follow-up appointment was required was to bill me and my insurance for a second visit.I had high hopes for Total Men’s after my initial primary appointment, but this latest experience was completely unacceptable and has left me angry and upset. In short, I’m done with Total Men’s and will be seeking out a new primary care provider moving forward.

Attempted to charge me for a telehealth appointment when they’ve not charged me for the last two years of lab follow ups. The company is changing policies in a money grab.

I arrived early and within five minutes of entering, I was already in the room. The doctor was pleasant, kind, and provided me with all the necessary information.

Nice staff, but this place tries to charge you for everything. Better off picking a traditional PCP

I have enjoyed my experience with Total Men’s Primary Care. Appointment setting was easy with several locations and available times. The staff was friendly and professional. I was there for a total of 30min and was able get everything I wanted accomplished. I look forward to using them exclusively this year.

Convenient location, pleasant front desk staff, and great care from nurses and doctors. Mike (my doctor) talked me through all my options for my health issues, and then helped me get a plan of attack!Edit: One of the nurses fumbled a test (not literally but rendered it useless), said I wouldnt be charged, but then later I recieved a bill for the test. The nurse had left the company (surprise surprise) and couldnt verify that i shouldnt have been charged. Anyway they passed my bill onto a collections agency cause I guess they didnt value keeping my business.

I love going to Total Mens. The staff is always welcoming and friendly—and the doctor/PA is knowledgeable, friendly, and they take their time listening and addressing all of my questions and concerns.I’ve used multiple hospitals in the north Austin area (including St. David’s), and Total Men’s is wayyyyyy better than anywhere else I’ve gone.I highly recommend Total Men’s, you’ll love it.

Eh. The brand is great, this location isn’t. They frequently stay closed past 2pm, kinda ruining appointments.. honestly, just take the drive to the Domain Total Mens. It’s better run.

Easy fast appointment scheduling online, usually same day available. Lots of locations available too. Always a friendly staff and alway felt trust in the doctors.Fast and easy doctor appointments are almost unheard of. Been going fir years including annual physical, blood pressure management and just a daily cold.

Incredible service. The provider was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. The nurse who gave me my blood draw was also top tier! She was very kind and it was quick and painless. Blood draws are not my thing. Highly recommend visiting this Total Mens for any of your health needs. 💯

Staff: the front desk and staff are really amazing. They don’t get paid enough for the amount of work they do. As for management, I’ve been going to the research and tech ridge location and heard nothing but negative issue from current and past employees. The owner should look into the issue.

UPDATE: Called them so that I can get my prescriptions refilled from a previous doctor and long term permanent condition that I had way before I start going to this office and/or moved to this state thats detrimental to my health. When I called, first they said that I needed to make an appointment in order for them to simply refill my prescriptions, which I shouldnt have had to in the first place seeing that, my disability is neurological. It has nothing to do with this place (when I moved, I just had to find a primary care physician). When I get there they tell me I have a past due balance and on top of that I also have to pay an additional hundred dollars just to see the doctor to fill prescriptions that I need for every day living. I change my star rating because that is it truly despicable for you to say you need to see me before you can refill a prescription that you didnt even originally prescribe in the first place. ive never had to go in to see a doctor just to get a prescription refilled unless it was the same Doctor Who prescribed the prescription but never from a primary physicians office for a refill on much needed medicine.UPDATE: Was there on Monday and needed a referral to a specialist, they said they would get right on it and today (Wednesday) I received a call from the specialist to set up my appointment. Dont know about the problems people had a year ago but as of this year, they are on point. Thanks guys!This place is freaking awesome! As soon as I got there, I was met by two friendly receptionist, who took all of my information and made sure I was squared away. Theyre very quick with their process, I was in and out of there within 20 minutes and they took care of all my concerns. I would highly recommend that you guys check this place out, it wasnt crowded, very clean and an overall really nice experience. Another thing that Im definitely going to take advantage of this all the programs that they have for men as far as weight loss and other programs, thats very rare to find this all in one place. I would definitely be going there from now on.

Despite confirming an appointment a week earlier, I didn’t get the usual text confirmations and reminders, I called as I was flying out, and they squeezed me in without making it a hassle.

I was so excited to establish care since I am new to the Austin area. I heard a lot of good things about Total Mens Primary Care which turned out to be not true.Total Mens Primary Care cares more about money than the health of their patients. Had an appointment. Got there exactly at the time of the appointment. Was told that I have a deductible of $68.50. I told them that I have a copay of $20 for office visits since my insurance is in-network with them. They would not let me see the doctor until I pay them the money.I asked for the office manager. The office manager was in a conference call. I wrote this review as I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes for the office manager to call me. It hasnt happened.

My first experience with total care was absolutely amazing! fast, friendly, professional staff took care of, and eased all my concerns. I will be returning, and I recommend anyone else Needing healthcare to do the same! Thank you

My primary care Dr retired and I have been to several locations. Service has been great. Always quick and friendly. It’s amazing that all my info transfers between locations. There is one close my office and one close to work. They can check schedules at other locations and book appointments when and where it’s most convenient for you.

Been across two different locations and service has always been wonderful. Haven’t had an unpleasant moment yet. Sean kept it real and the staff was very friendly. Never thought I’d actually like going to the doctor but this establishment makes it an easy experience.

Everything went smoothly and as expected. Everyone was helpful and kind. From the interaction with the front desk coordinator to the practitioners during the visit were great!

We made appointments for antigen tests 3 days in advance without any trouble online. The website also gives you the option to submit your insurance information ahead of time which we loved being able to knock out. Once we arrived we were pleased to see a clean lobby and be greeted by a friendly receptionist. We were in and out super quick. The test itself was the nasal swab, not super fun but they made it as efficient and nice as they could. Everyone was masked correctly and the space felt clean.

Wait time was very reasonable and seeing The PCP was prompt and service wad render appropriate time frame. Again thank you guys, great Team work and last if you have any aliment Go!! Went in for my annual check up here. Had expected to be seen by a doctor, but was only was seen by a nurse practitioner, Shannon Mims. Her services were highly inadequate. She did not have answers to most questions I had, and honestly didn’t seem to know about many things I’d asked her. Never asked me if I had any questions or concerns either. On top of that I had over an hour wait to just even see her. I was asked to fill a form of all concerns I had, and she hardly even took a look at it. I was actually billed for filling up this almost useless form too. This place is a complete rip off, and will not recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

The purpose of my visit was to receive a rapid COVID test before I had to leave for work out of town. Out of all the places I came across, Total Mens Care had an abundance of availability and ease of check in online. In person check-in was easy and quick and I was in and out with my test results within 20/25 minutes. The front lobby area are clean as are the individual appointment rooms. Staff is friendly and skilled. I would recommend and I would return for sure!

I better give a 0 star. I visited the clinic for my Annual physical exam. First of all they made me wait for an hour in the waiting room. And now its been a week and yet my lab results have not come through. I don’t know how reliable the blood culture number are now. When I called up to follow up on the lab reports, they say it’s normal. 1 week for a blood culture?? Is that normal! The associate was rude and smacked the phone.I definitely NOT recommend this lab.

Total men’s was very kind and beyond easy to deal with. With most primary care physicians booked for months out, Total Men’s had immediately availability! They made me feel very comfortable and the experience was quick! Highly recommend!

Was very easy to get a same day, first time appointment done. Staff and environment was very chill and welcoming. The lounge is filled with snacks, drinks and comfy seats. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Saw Shelby for nerve related pain in my neck. The detail of care and level of service was excellent. They helped with a referral and accurately identified my ailment that is well on the way to healing. Insurance processing and records on the medical portal is easy to use and one of the reasons I used Total Mens as my PCP.

Originally I left a 4 star reviews because my care started off decently. Then I was ignored multiple times after have more health issues. The long haired questionable guy at the front desk was condescending.

I needed a Rapid Covid Test and had heard good things about this company. My husband went last week and his experience was great. I went today and it was easy And I got a cup of coffee. I can as able to choose an appointment time that fit my schedule and they even had same day available at multiple locations. Great experience from online booking, getting my insurance approved and everything went smoothly.

Convenient location off 183. Its easy to make an appointment. The providers cover a range of areas, from annual physically, routine maintenance and mens issues. I highly recommend their services and this facility.

Today was my second time at a Total Mens Primary Care location. The staff is amazing! My kids and wife enjoyed their time in the waiting area. They have coffee, Gatorades and so much more!!! I was in and out really quick. They helped me so much. The Doctor and assistants went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Definitely going back.

This was my first experience at this location, and I left very pleased. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. It was a clean environment and the staff did a great job at keeping social distancing protocols, while offering sanitation options. Very quick turnaround with little hassle. The nurse who helped me (wish I could remember her name) was very kind. I expressed my nervousness about my appointment, and she did a great job at keeping a calm and welcoming environment. Everyone was quite professional and I ended up leaving with a smile. 10/10 would recommend to someone.

Fast, professional, excellent service from start to finish. The receptionist at the counter got my info squared straight away. The technician in the back was very friendly and expert taking care of me would recommend to anyone.

Walked in for a work related Covid test and was pleased to hear that they could work me in. Waited 15-20 min, test was quick and simple and billed my insurance for the visit. Other than having a swab inserted into my nose, my experience was great. The front desk associate and clinical assistant were great and the place had a great feel to it. I brought my husband in after 10 yrs for a check-up and blood work and physical. Staff were very tentative to all our concerns and answered our questions and gave us recommendations and we were able to get referralsto specialist same day and they sll were ververy friendly. We went to the Dunkin location this time and had a great experience. We were getting Covid testing for travel and we were both in and out within 5 min of our appointment. Both the receptionist and medical assistant (MA) were friendly. The MA was very patient with me and all the questions I had.

Front desk was courteous in reminding me to update my papers and insurance. The Medical Assistant was great at drawing my blood. I also got my flu vaccine for the year!

My first visit went very well it was nice and easy got right in. The nurse was great specially when she drew my blood it was flawless. The Dr had lots of knowledge and easy to speak to and I also received great customer service with the receptionist up front. Overall great experience and I look forward to using TMPC for my future medical needs.

First I want to start off that the service from the Provider, Joe, and the Assistant were nice. I’ve no issue with them when I was seen.My issue comes with how terrible they are with getting prescriptions sent and sent correctly.I saw Joe Thursday, 7/28/22, and was told a prescription was going to be sent. I called my pharmacy, and they received nothing. Was unable to call the clinic as they had closed.I called the very next day, and was told that the prescription was never sent because there was no pharmacy provided to send it to.How is this possible when I submitted that information during the new patient portal? And even had Joe confirm the pharmacy prior to being discharged?People make mistakes, I let it slide.Called Saturday 11:08 AM to see if the provider can send a cheaper generic prescription. Was answered with “Well, Joe isn’t in today and I don’t know if the provider here can send a different one”I asked if he can check with the provider, got confirmation that he can change the prescription to a generic one, all is well… so I’ve hoped.Called the pharmacy around 12:09PM to see if they received the prescription. I was told no.I call back the clinic, and the rep says that maybe the doctor got behind and hasn’t sent it yet. I needed to be sure it would be sent since the clinic closes at 1 PM on Saturday.Rep called the site and they said they would call me when it gets sent.I drive to the clinic, call the pharmacy to check if it’s been received, it is now 12:50 PM, and nothing has been received, and I have had no call.I walk in an relay that I have had no one call me, and I just called the pharmacy and nothing has been sent.I wait in the lobby and was told it got sent. Called pharmacy AGAIN and while I am being given paper confirmation, I am told the prescription was sent erroneously. It is now a little over 1pm, and I’m sitting in the lobby with the staff wanting to leave, probably annoyed with me cause their shift has ended.A few minutes pass and I’m given another sheet that the order got sent corrected.I call the pharmacy once more to check, and I’m being on hold for a bit long, and I don’t want these guys to have their weekends ruined cause it’s their Saturday. So I got up and said “give the provider my thanks” and walk out.As I’m driving back home while waiting for the pharmacy to pick up, I am told that they sent the prescription incorrectly, AGAIN.Needless to say, I won’t be going back. I shouldn’t have to be calling and checking hourly to see if a prescription has been sent correctly. Let alone be promised things that aren’t being fulfilled.

I heard that Total Men’s Primary Care was offering Rapid Covid test to women and kids as well as men on 104.9 The Horn. I needed a test right away, and it was easy to get an appointment. The facility was very clean and nice. Testing was quick and easy and I got to leave since they text the results, no waiting around. Great staff!

I went to Total Mens Primary Care for my annual checkup. I had been going to ADC for years, bit my old doctor retired.I wish I hadnt waited so long to change to TMPC.I arrived on time, and waited less than a minute.The staff were all professional and took care of all the normal annual checkup.I was in and out in 30 minutes.The days of spending hours to see a doctor for 5 minutes are over. I will be going to to Total Mens Primary Care from now on

I received a warm welcome at the reception.I was called in the consultation room in less than 2 minutes after submitting my online form.My doctor was very patient and understand.From arrival to exit I spent 30 minutes for a test process and went to work which was great.I definitely recommend to all my peers and everyone else🤗

Had some blood work done and it was the easiest and most pain free I have ever had. The doctor was kind and full of helpful information.

It was very easy to schedule the covid test online. Was able to get in 15 minutes after I visited the website for a rapid test and got the results on 15 minutes. Also, I had to call a couple time about insurance and whether I should enter the building and the staff was very friendly and willing to help! A great experience overall.

Made an covid test appointment the night before, and was seen promptly upon arrival. I like anywhere that allows you to digitally fill out your paperwork prior to your appointment, I was able to upload a photo of ID and Insurance so all I had to do was show up!Staff was friendly and courteous and I got my test results back quickly while I waited.

Had a great experience today at this location. My husband and I needed COVID tests to travel. The front desk person was upfront about the 2 hour wait. Said we could leave and would call us when they are ready. It was exactly 2 hours and when we got the call we had 10 minutes to get there, which was sufficient. The tech that performed the test on us was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this location for COVID testing. My husband had a good experience at this location getting a physical exam a few weeks ago.

Was told on the phone by an appointment scheduler that works for Total Mens Primary Care that testosterone testing would be covered by my insurance as long as I scheduled my appointment before 10 am. I scheduled my appointment for 8:05 am on Friday, Oct 29. When I got there, the doctor asked why I wanted to be tested, said thered be two blood draws involved, and then left. Then, a woman came in to explain that the cost of my supposedly covered testing would be over $100.Either I was lied to by the scheduler or not told what covered meant. I told them what I was told by the scheduler, but they came back and still said it would be over $100. So, I left - but still had to pay a $25 copay for the 4- minute doctor visit where he just asked why I wanted testing and then chose to not get the testing due to improper cost communication on the clinics part. Im assuming customer service isnt Total Mens bag.I also received a text message from total mens asking how my experience went. I explained it to them. They responded saying theyd get someone to contact me. Five days later, I still havent heard from them. Will update review if I do.The only reason Im not giving 1 star is that Im sure they provide decent services, but their pricing, at least in my experience, was not truthfully given up front and I was forced to pay a copay for something I wound up not even receiving. Sucks to suck.Edit: Still havent heard anything - its been 2 months.

This was easy and fast. I was able to do all of the registration on my phone before the appointment. When I got there, I only waited about a minute until they called me back. Everyone was friendly, and I got my results in 15 minute. I only paid $20, and the test was pretty painless compared to what I have heard about other places.

I went to Total Men’s Health for a rapid Covid test and it was a great experience! Making an appointment online was easy and they saw me within 5 minutes of my arrival. The test itself was not nearly as uncomfortable as others and only took 10-15 minutes for the results. Plus the staff was very friendly which is always a plus.

I needed to get a rapid Covid test for work, and after searching around I came across Total Men’s. So glad I came here. It was so easy to make an appointment online especially being a first time patient. I was in having my test done within 5 minutes of walking through the door, and results within 15 minutes! They have this procedure down. This was my first time having this test done and they certainly eased my anxiety about all this craziness. No nonsense and very professional. If you’ve been wondering don’t wait any longer. Make a same day appointment at one of their locations and get it done. Yourself and your loved ones will thank you.

For my first couple of visits the staff was very friendly and cooperative and informative. The atmosphere was amazing! Would totally recommend to my peers. They also accept a wide variety of insurance companies which is a huge plus for me! Would definitely be coming back for all my health needs.

I booked a covid test online prior to my visit. When I arrived I was greeted at the front by a friendly team member. I filled out my information on my cell phone in a comfy waiting area with tasty beverages and snacks. The doctor saw me promptly. She was thorough and professional in explaining the procedure as well as conducting it. I chose to wait in the exam room for 15 minutes after being swabbed to get the quickest results. Such a quick turnaround! I would recommend this place to anyone needing to get tested for covid. They accept walk ins but I would book in advance to secure a spot.

This was my first time visiting. The visit was quick and convenient. No delays, no bs, just told them what was bothering me and was given practical advice. Will definitely go back for any future health issues I may have.

So I want to first start off by saying that as a new patient this place was fast quick very professional. It was no wait a lot of other providers have a long wait when it comes to physicals they got me in the next day the new patient application was very easy. I would recommend this place to anybody and I stumbled across it by being curious but is a very awesome place.

Intake is easy, staff is kind and helpful, and providers are amazing.

I visited earlier today to get a Covid Test. I was extremely impressed with my visit. I was seen on time. The staff was very friendly. The office was clean and inviting. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. My results were sent to me electronically within 30 minutes. I highly recommend!

First I want to say it’s awesome that Total Men’s takes appointments on Saturdays. I loved not having to worry about taking off time from work for a doctors visit.As for the appointment itself. The staff was great. It was quick, easy, and overall a great experience. I will definitely plan to come back for any other appointments.

Fast and efficient! From booking an appointment for my rapid Covid testing online was easy. The staff was friendly and waiting to get tested was only 5-10mins. I got my result via text in less than 20mins. I would definitely go back here again and would recommend highly.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be making more visits. I had a 9:20 appointment and I was seen at 9:18 for covid test. The front desk is very friendly and the waiting area is very clean and organized (probably the best I’ve seen in a long time). They got me in and out, no time wasting like other doctors offices I’ve been too. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I decided to walk in to Men’s total health clinic and within 20 min I got tested, I comfortably waited in a private office, and 15 min later I got my results. Staff was very professional and attentive, and the check in process was super easy from my phone. I highly recommend this place for easy walk-in, with fast and great service.

Have used this clinic a couple of times for Covid antigen testing and everyone at this location is great. Very clean and proactive about keeping distance where possible. The lady who does the actual nasal swab is very gentle and makes what is an unpleasant test as easy as it can be. The nurse practitioner who comes to let you know your results is also good. If I was a male I’d be very happy to use them as my primary care.

My doctor referred me here for a rapid COVID antigen test that she trusted. Though their practice is geared toward men, testing is open to all, and everyone in the waiting room when I went for my test was a woman. It was simple to make an appointment online, with lots of open spots throughout Austin. The staff were so sweet, and I had my results in 5 minutes. Results usually take 15, but can come in sooner if you are very clearly negative according to the nurse who helped me. They gave me a printout with my negative results, and a doctors signature for a return to work/flight clearance. Note that this is an antigen test, and wont satisfy requirements for a negative PCR test. Very positive experience, and Ill be referring others here that are looking for rapid testing.

I am very disappointed by the follow up after the visit. I have been prescribed some medications but not been given any guidance on posology and have not received a call from the provider to give me any explanation on what should be done. I called three times before I could get someone to help. The medication provided did not help and had to go again and the provider prescribed some new medication without explaining what needs to be done or why this new medication would be effective vs the first one. I tried to call several times to follow up and never received a call back. Nice facility if you re looking to get treated for some very basic stuff (like annual checkin) but would NOT recommend if anything more serious

I didnt have an appointment, and was able to walk in and have a rapid Covid test administered within the hour!The front desk person (Jay, I think) was so nice, and made sure I had expectations regarding the wait time (said it would be about an hour) and let me know the $20 new patient fee before I started the check in process.I was called right about 40 minutes of wait time, and was taken right back.I dont know the techs name who administered the test but she was very kind, and talked me through the process. (Nasal swab. Not super comfy, but not as bad as youve heard!)I waited in the treatment room for about 10 minutes, and then got my results.I would definitely recommend this office, and I would be happy to go back in the event that I needed a rapid test in the future!As an aside... Please be nice to healthcare professionals and providers.It isnt anyones fault that the wait times are upwards of an hour or hour and a half.Its safer for you to wait in your car, not only for you, but for other patients and the staff.Masks are required for a very good reason.Theyre doing their absolute best at a time when everything is trash. Scheduled a next-day appointment online for COVID testing (specifically, the rapid antigen nasal swab test). I arrived early the day of, but they admitted me and administered the test almost right away. Waited 15 minutes before the doctor came in with my negative result. Didnt have any questions for him, so that was that; in and out in less than half an hour. Would also like to mention the front desk was very friendly when I called the day before with questions about insurance. Would recommend for rapid COVID testing.

My husband and I had to get a rapid covid test for upcoming travel. Total Men’s Primary Care was super fast and easy with a bunch of availability. The facility was spotless and brand new! We were in and out within 5 minutes and had results in 15.

Even though I was a new patient I was still in-and-out of the doctors office in less than 25 minutes. The entire staff was very friendly and efficient and I saw Brock Vorwald (PA-C) who was very friendly, informative and efficient. I was asked multiple times if I had any questions and everything was explained clearly and concisely. Also the real snacks, water, soda and coffee in the waiting room (where I only had enough time to grab a Diet Coke and sit down before being called).Would highly recommend!

I know they say they are for “men only”, but when I was calling around for a Covid test they had openings and said all were welcome. The 183 location was super convenient and easy to get to. Staff was friendly, waiting room was nice/comfortable (appreciated the Keurig for that extra cup of coffee I needed!)and I was seen quickly. Overall good experience, would recommend.

I learned a friend I spent time with recently had been exposed to COVID. Total Men’s had me in quickly, did the test (nothing like having a long stick shoved in a head hole) and had the results in 15 minutes. Gladly, the results were negative.I’ve been a patient for a few years and have never had the personal and responsive care they provide. It’s a great model for healthcare.For example, at the beginning of the pandemic when everything was shut down I had a recurrence of GERD that predated me being their patient. Everything was closed and I was in a bit of misery with persistent heart burn. I emailed my primary physician there and he called in a new prescription of meds I had used successfully a few years earlier. Now that’s excellent care!

My initial thoughts are very good.I did not have to call in to talk to anyone, in order to make an appointment. I just set it all up online, which is a big plus for me.I showed up early (as always), and we quickly went through all of the additional information they needed. Then they got me back about 30- minutes before my appointment (I was in the lobby for about five minutes).Speaking of the lobby... It is fully stocked with snacks and drinks. Awesome!The nurse quickly ran through all of her questions, and drew blood (she did a great job there as well).The doctor came in a moment after the nurse finished up. We ran through my annual physical. Very thorough and streamlined. We chatted for a moment about other questions I had, then I left.All in all, the most efficient medical visit I believe Ive ever had. If they keep up to this standard, then Ive found a permanent medical facility.

I was quoted an x amount for a test which I paid prior to the test and now quest diagnostics sent me another bill. This is outright cheating or lying to the customer. I called quest diagnostics and they told me to talk to the facility. Called 10 times since the morning and none answers the call. Total waste of time and unnecessary frustration. This is a genuine review.I booked my appointment because I wanted to get back on an ADHD medication. They took my insurance information and I assumed everything looked good insurance-wise, because I didnt hear anything else about it. After my appointment I paid $110 out of pocket which I thought was copay, again still no mention of insurance. Cut to two weeks later, my prescription has been filled but the pharmacy wants me to pay 300 dollars out of pocket because there was no prior authorization from the doctor. I call the clinic and they told me Erika Jiminez would call me back but it took 5 days to even receive a phone call. The clinic now lets me know that my insurance isnt accepted, which is a lie. They then double back to say that my insurance is expired, which is correct, so I give them the updated information. All of this should have been handled before or at the checkout of my first appointment. I expressed my frustration for the lack of communication to Erika Jiminez and received no apology whatsoever, only Yeah... and more Yeah.... I wanted to like this place and saw a lot of great reviews on here, but insurance is 90% of healthcare in the US, and if theyre getting that important step wrong with patients this I would score this office with a 10% grade.

I know several folks who have used Total Mens Primary Care for COVID-19 testing. The online appointment is fast and easy to book, sign-in can be done in 2 minutes on your phone, and they handled worried walk-ins like pros, getting them seen within a few minutes both times. Everyone had results back in 30 minutes. Plus: snacks and Keurigs while you wait in a clean and comfortable waiting room.

I visited TM to get a COVID test. Setting up the appointment was trivial and the visit was easy and quick. They stayed on schedule and got me out in about 20 minutes, which is how long it takes to get the quick turnaround results.

I scheduled an appointment online for my flu shot. I gave my name to the receptionist and they confirmed I was checked in right away. I was seen right away, filled out a form, they cleaned my arm and gave me my flu shot. Total time there was less than 5 minutes. Super quick and friendly staff.

Not one to usually post bad reviews, but the experience my husband has had with this practice has been just awful. He has needed a referral auth to see a specialist for over a month now for a progressive/worsening issue, and we can’t get anyone from this office to get it taken care of despite my husband and I calling every day and the specialist’s office calling too! Such poor communication. The referral dept at this clinic seems non-existent, nor can I get in contact with a manager. I am a physician myself, and I’m just appalled at this whole experience. We had to pay out of pocket for the specialist because this office still never sent the auth (it has now been 3 weeks!!). It doesn’t seem to be the health care professionals that are the problem, but the “referral dept” and anyone claiming to manage this practice. I will never advise patients of my own to go to this practice. In the beginning it seemed like a great clinic—easy to make a next day appt and my husband really liked the NP he saw but the rest of the experience has been awful.

Visited this location of Total Mens 3 times in the last 14 months. Each time I found the experience to be great. I hardly had to wait once I checked in at the front desk. For my recent visit for the annual checkup, I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. The place was always clean and well kept, and the staff professional and friendly.

Since covid broke out I’ve been getting tested regularly at Total Men’s. Caring for my elderly father I have to be tested regularly. Scheduling is so easy and the staff are always great. Tests results while you wait. It honestly couldn’t be much easier, and they have locations all over town to choose from. There’s one at Duval and 183 that’s super convenient. My husband, stepson and I made appointments to get rapid-tested for COVID, but decided to add the antibody test for all 3 of us when we arrived. The adding of the test was very easy and added no time, the whole experience was quick and professional - exactly what we wanted it to be. Super quick and easy for covid test. Everything looked really clean and everyone wore masks. The person wore a face shield while administering the test so it seemed very safe. Horrible experience. They told me they would not provide my meds without getting blood drawn first. This is by the way after the appointment was completed and days later. I have never had to get blood drawn for my sleeping meds. There is no doctor onsite and they have no idea what they are doing. I would never recommend this place to anyone who is sick or in need of a doctor.

Total Men’s Health has been a great Easter egg during Covid. I’ve been able to go to a few different locations for rapid Covid nasal testing and the staff has always been nice and reassuring. Their facilities are so clean and my appointments only ever take 30 minutes max.

Excellent Medical Assistants, excellent doctor; I recently changed insurance, so I was there for just a physical, and got treated like a king. Dr. Mike was very personable yet professional, and the facilities were very modern. No paperwork, just a computer terminal for me to fill things out! Quick and thorough visit. Got a physical and bloodwork done within an hour. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Overall, would recommend 10/10.

I had some sort of cold. I logged onto the Total Mens Care website and made an appointment quickly. Then, when I arrived at the office as a new patient, I quickly filled out my own profile info on the terminal, as indicated, and was seen about 5 minutes later. Everything at this location was clean and I believe it was a new space. I will be back soon for an annual physical, and was very satisfied with my treatement, and the customer service I experienced.Follow Up: I have been back to TMPC 2 times for various issues and then an annual physical. I continue to be impressed by their staff and the way patients are treated.

Despite what the reviews say, the two visits I had were not a pleasant experience. The staff is more concerned with accounting for how much they will charge than for the patients well-being.None explained to me what I had and what was the cause of my discomfort, again, just worried about charging me and making the next appointment to charge me more.They completely forget they are dealing with people

The staff is respectful, office is clean and organized and it didn’t take long for me to get roomed.

My visit here was very helpful for what I needed. I appreciate the snacks provided and total kindness from the nurses from beginning to the end of my appointment. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer all the questions I had without rushing.

I had a quick and pleasant experience when visiting Total Men’s Primary Care for a yearly physical. The sign-in and registration part was under 1 minute and the medical professionals were very polite. I will definitely be going back in the future. Highly recommended to other men.

Their location was very clean, and not crowded. The actual procedure was fast, and most important of all, painless. Only a slight tickle, and 2 seconds later it was over. I will go back any time I need a covid test.

Staff was professional and very knowledgeable about the reason for my visit. While still obviously a medical clinic, it’s obvious they put a good bit of effort into making sure you’re comfortable and feel welcomed and safe.As much as I understandably don’t enjoy having to go anywhere for any medical reasons, I would still absolutely recommend these locations to any man needing medical attention.

I was a walk-in for a rapid Covid test (as a woman!) and the staff was friendly, efficient and I got my test results back within the proposed 15 minute time. Would definitely recommend if you need a rapid test!

This place is awesome! Dr. Mike takes pride in everyone of his patients. And the staff Ivanna, Brenda and Lianne are amazing! They are always willing to work around my Busy schedule. I definitely recommend this place because of the great staff. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Needed another Covid test. Went in and gotten taken care off quick and easy. Results within 30 minutes received. No paperwork if you follow instructions on txt notifications. Thanks guys. Its close to my home and Ill return if another test is needed.

Another great Total Mens Primary Care Experience. The other locations were busy so my girlfriend and I found a spot at this location. We had traveled over Thanksgiving and wanted to check and make sure we were negative. Simple registration, fast testing and they called in 15 minutes. I will go back for sure.

Everyone here was great. They booked my appointment on short notice, got me in early when I arrived early, and very quickly performed my wellness check. They were all incredibly efficient without skipping over anything.

Came in for a rapid COVID test to go back to work. Booked, arrived, and received the test seamlessly. Friendly and sufficient staff. Would recommend! 5 stars. (Also negative test by the way - hey ooooh!)

I was a patient at ARC for more years than I can remember, rotating doctors, staff, I felt more like a “customer”. Then I found Total Men’s and it completely changed everything for me as a patient. From the moment I walk in Ivanna at the front desk welcomes me with a warm smile, checks me in, asks how my day has been, etc. Something small, but definitely a different experience than any other doctors office I have visited. The medical staff, Brenda and Lianne are always so pleasant and have a way of making you feel comfortable, in what is less face it, a doctor’s appointment that can be a bit uncomfortable. Mike Menza, PA, is extremely knowledgeable, never makes you feel like just another person who walks through the door. Takes the time to answer all your questions with a very personal and trusting approach. Total Men’s Primary Care, this staff, and the overall experience has completely changed my expectations of care providers! Keep up the great work, y’all are amazing!
