NextCare Urgent Care Apache Junction

The good, bad, and ugly:Good: Spacious clinic, everyone was in positive spirits, good location.Bad: Dont set an appointment here, or if you do, you wont be seen until 30-40 minutes after your selected time. Once I was called back 35 minutes after the time, I waited in the room for the provider for an additional 25 minutes.Ugly: The way the chairs are set up and the waiting room is laid out youre definitely going to be around people who might get you sick. Masks are required but not everyone wore them. As someone with a non contagious issue, I really felt uncomfortable waiting so long and risking mine and my babys health.

I have been here and several time with my family and also myself. The wait was only 15 to 25 minutes which is great for walk-in, just depended on how busy they were. The Doctor was professional and friendly and followed up with a call after the appointment to give the X-Ray results. The Staff and X-Ray technician was friendly and respectful.

Very kind & caring staff. There were quite a few people but the wait time wasn’t forever. I was pretty much in & out within an hour & a half which I feel is good considering how many there were before me. Provider was very thorough & listened to my symptoms and she did not rush. My husband was there last year with bronchitis & the experience was great too. Definitely will be our place to go when we’re here for the winter season.

The stuff was very courteous and efficient. The doctor was knowledgeable, and answered all questions that I had regarding my illness. She was a pleasure to meet for the first time. I didn’t have insurance, it was very helpful that and they had a payment plan that would allowed me to come back at reduce rate.

When a technician says, Im going to take your vitals, that seems normal.When she then says, Im going to swab your nose to test for the Flu & Covid, that seems reasonable as well.Imagine my surprise to be charged $185US for the swab testing.Had I been informed of the cost, I would not have agreed to these tests. I just thought they were part of the evaluation. (Covid tests are free in Canada).Apparently there wasnt a manager on duty to follow up with.The receptionist agreed that I should have been informed of the cost beforehand.(Especially as the tests werent crucial to my visit).Very dissatisfied.

Made my appointment the night before and did the paperwork all at the same time. Was extremely easy and convenient. Got a text reminder about my appointment for the morning and went. Only waited a few minutes. I was in and out and off to the pharmacy in no time. Staff was great and the place was very clean.

I felt like I waited a long time although I was the only person in the waiting room. Candace, FNP never touched me. Didn’t lay her stethoscope on me. Didn’t touch my painful leg. I’ve been waiting two days for an ultrasound at Arizona imaging. They have never called me,to schedule. I’ve been trying to avoid it, but I’ll have to go to the emergency room. Pain lives at 7.

Front desk staff is efficient, if not all that engaging. But the provider was outstanding. She listens, asks questions, and conveys an interest in helping. I never felt rushed. I’ll go there again.

I am new to the area and chose this urgent care facility from the web. I must have had some help from above when I chose because it was the best experiences I’ve very had at any health care facility!! The staff was kind, completely supportive and sympathetic. I truly felt cared for!! I highly recommend them! They were truly wonderful and I appreciate it especially when I felt so awful physically! I sincerely thank you kind ladies!!

This place is amazing. I was here earlier in the week with my kids and then my spouse had to come in. The nextcare on Cadance parkway wouldn’t see us at 7:16. We drove out this way and they were amazing! Didn’t say anything about the time and when I asked when they stop seeing patients they stated up until 8pm! Amazing! Karina was so pleasant we loved her! This place is worth the drive!

I was grateful to do walk-in on New Years Day. Even through they were busy and a bit behind I truly appreciated being seen.Ive been coming to this location for a few years having being treated kindly and efficiently.Thanks for a wonderful staff!Jacqui Kohler

I come here occasionally for minor problems, like ear wax blockage, and in May of 2024 for an infected tick bite. They always accepted Medicare assignment, and my payment was always reasonable. But this time I got a bill for $496 directly from the NP, and now a bill from NextCare for another $164. All this for a prescription for a 7 day course of doxycycline. Unacceptable!Ill be calling NextCare to find out why my Medicare assignment was NOT accepted by the NP.

I fell asleep twice and practically took an hour nap while I waited 3 hours before finally getting up and walking out after telling the office lady they needed to get their shit together and just call me with the results. I was there to get an xray of my wrist that I had to talk them into doing for me because the pain I was having was “probably” not due to my wrist being broken 9 months prior and not being treated. It was probably just a sore ligament like the nurse claimed that she has had problems with herself 🤦‍♀️ turns out I now need surgery! It was also extremely dirty. I have always loved this place until this visit

I needed stitches removed on a Saturday so I called the next care urgent care in Apache Junction to see if I needed an appointment and they said nope, I could schedule or just walk in. I arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon as a walk in and waited less than 20 minutes to be taken back, and then I wated about 10 minutes for the provider to come in the room. The nurse practitioner (I cant remember her name) was great! She was super friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The entire staff was very pleasant to deal with, I will be back!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Check in was smooth especially because the app allows you to send documents and give pertinent info prior to arrival. Only disappointment was that even after scheduling an appointment I had to wait 45 minutes to be seem AND they took non emergency walk-in clients ahead of me after telling me appointments get priority. That was not good.

Everyone were very accommodating and did their part during my scheduled visit to ease the discomfort of my impacted left ear, the check in was swift, easy & fast but I had to wait for 40 minutes just to get it done when in fact I already signed up early morning that day for my 2:30pm appointment. I hope next time it’ll be faster to spare us time from waiting too long. But overall I love the service. Way to go, NextCare Urgent Care AJ! 👌

Needed a bleeding cut finger fixed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The nurse was very good, calm and very professional. The Doctor was excellent. I would recommend this urgent care facility to anyone.

The wait was longer than I was originally told but the rest of my experience was great. All the staff were professional and caring. I would definitely use them in the future.

My first experience with NextCare Urgent Care. Staff & facility were a welcomed surprise. I left confused after being informed that no treatment is provided. I was given a general explanation of my injury, what could be done to rule out further possibilities & recommendations on how manage symptoms.

Very nice friendly staff but two experiences with appointments Ive had to wait over an hour and even 1 1/2 hour after appointment time.

Didn’t feel up to dragging myself in there having had diarrhea and not eating for 3 days…. But internet says see Dr if symptoms persist so I went…PA did nothing for my diarrhea and told me to get a stool culture which I’m too weak to do. I have to go to lab, get the instructions, come back home and get the sample and return it to the lab for analysis. She suggested ER visit, I thought Urgent Care was the preferred progression in the continuum of care. Anyway, for me it was not helpful. The on line check in was good so didn’t have to wait to be seen.

Live in Oregon, was visiting Apache Jct +came down sick. Made an appointment online. Filled out paperwork , took a pic of my ID +insurance. So easy this way. Arrive @ my appointment time, payed my co-pay. Was in exam room in 5 min. Dr was great. Listened to me. Prescribed meds. Was out of there in 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend this Urgent care.

This is the second time we’ve been to the slow because they are the only nextcare in the area that has an x-ray technician on site. We were in and out quickly and appreciate the staff and their prompt care. I just wish the other locations had x-ray staff on site because it’s kind of inconvenient to drive 25 minutes to get an x-ray.

Saw NP… excellent gal… she was pleasant and effective . The MA was likewise excellent….. knew the names of my meds, again, pleasant and effective.

Scheduled a sports physical . The whole entire process was easy , front office staff were pleasant, back office staff has bedside manner . We felt comfortable and we were seen right away. Doctor was very pleasant and kind .

Never coming to this place again. I came in with severe abdominal pain, waiting over an hour in pain and then finally get pulled back only to have a student help me who honestly didnt seem like he had any clue what he was doing. Never saw the actual doctor. They sent me home with antibiotics because they thought it was just an infection. Ended up going to the ER where they admitted me and I had to undergo surgery for a distended gallbladder. 10/10 do not recommend.

Our toddler dropped a brick on his foot teying to throw it over a fence. We called and gave them a 40min heads up, on our arrive they got us into the room and set up helping us super fast even let me fill out paper work as we where seen. Refered us to get an xray and only a few hours after getting one called us with the results! Everyone was super careing and kind, especially candace, as very informative on what to do and how to care for his poor toe fracture.

Very professional staff. Examination extremely thorough. Although I was in pain and not thinking clearly,they were patient and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my health and what I was to do if my condition didnt improve. Five stars for everyone involved.

The nurse practitioner at MD that I had see my child for the sports physical was absolutely amazing and very personable. Highly recommend, 9 out of 10, or four out of 10 in this case. Kneeling down follows the waiting time, and all fairness I didnt schedule an appointment.

It was very busy. I was treated with respect. The provider was very professional and when she seen I was not able to take the antibiotics normally given she ask if I knew what I had before I told her and that was that.

Front desk staff makes you sign in digitally on your own phone while they discuss TV shows. Rude and condescending personality. Not sure what they get paid for but they milk that hourly rate.Nurse assistant asked if I wanted to take Covid tests and other tests and assured me that the test are free as long as I have insurance. This turned out to be wrong. Two tests cost me 250 before insurance and 100 after insurance. Staff is not knowledgeable.The PA or doctor(not sure what she was) came in a did the exam. Assured me that my daughter did not have an ear infection and said she had some ear canals and could need tubes later in life.Went to the pediatrician on Monday for second opinion and what do you know, double ear infection and ear canals are above normal.Would not recommend this place. Admin Staff are typical people in this type of environment and area. Medical professionals are lacking expertise and probably experience. Milking hours and the people are not exceptional or care about their personal brand/work ethic.Total cost was over $500 after insurance. Over priced for terrible service. Go to a nice city for an urgent care. Gilbert has better services and prices.

My kiddo had an ear infection and we were able to get seen quickly and get the treatment we needed right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. What would normally be a long wait with an uncomfortable, impatient kiddo, turned out to be a great experience where we got the care we needed right away. Whew! I highly recommend.

I had to bring my teenager here. They ended up checking us out instead of the patient before. I had two toddlers at home sick I needed to get to, also. I could hear them talking about Amazon orders and old employers until I cracked the door and they realized they checked out the wrong patient. Glad I only needed to go to this location this one time.

Not impressed, went in with my adult daughter visiting from out of town. Scheduled appointment at 8am, diagnosed without any treatment. Ended up with her at the ER later the same day. How this facility has a 4.5 rating shocks me, wish they had helped my daughter like they should have. It was shameful, she needed care and did not receive it.

After several attempts online, I had to finally call to book an appointment. The website stalled constantly. Waited an hour and 15 minutes before finally seeing a provider, and he was arrogant, bordering on rude. Said “my job is just to have conversations.“ That lack of resolution cost us $65, after having been there two days earlier, and paying another $65. I would never recommend this location.

Went in for help with back pain and pain going into my arm. Was hoping for some relief. Received a shot and it didn’t help. Waste of time and money.I ended up getting in with my dr same day as an emergency.wasting. I was sent to get an xray where we later found I had signs of degenerative changes and an mri was needed. You did nothing for me and I went there because you had the ability to do X-rays. Terrible waste of money and I’m glad I didn’t take your advice.

Went for a sprained possible fracture on Saturday in AJ, its Monday and they said more likely Tuesday for xray results. Sent me to a 3rd party imaging in Gilbert. Make sure you go to an Urgent care that has a xray tech working. I told them they should have sent me elsewhere. Took over 2 hours to get a boot and doctor diagnosed from a chair I was sitting in, just a visual not a touch. Run....

After the good experience of having Candice Darling go above & beyond the call of duty. Calling me ,texting clinic ahead to say Id be in for urine test & blood test for gout that was the last good thing. Got to clinic & left clinic 2 hrs later with instructions on jaundice& dehydration but nothing for the gout Im dealing with. Made this old lady think wtf just happened....Following internets advice for diet,icing,hydratingfor cure of gout & getting better thank you.. sorry Medicare,could have saved you money..

I was seen within 15 minutes of getting there. Checked in quickly. Nurses were fantastic, NP was phenomenal. Overall great experience. As great as a trip to Urgent Care can be.

Doctor Candace Darling was wonderful, she even called at 8pm with my son’s X-ray results.

Awful experience at this urgent care and the nurse practitioner. I came in with awful stomach pain and cramps, nausea and vomiting. I could barely sit up straight. I was given antacid plus numbing liquid. She came back and it didn’t help at all. She said well I don’t know. Then gave a Zofran pill which was no help and I ended up vomiting the entire night. The NP had no care or concern to try and help me or find out what was going on. It seemed like she just wanted to get out of there. Very disappointing. **Edited to add that it ended up in the ER and it was my GALLBLADDER - ! I have come to the conclusion either the nurse pracitioner on duty that night did not care or has no idea what she is doing.Edited to add I reached to NextCare Urgent Care as requested and no one got back to me.

Knowledgeable, compassionate hard working crew. Was a very busy office but felt I was taken care of in a timely manner but was not rushed thru my time with the Dr.

Arrived right at 8am. Brought my two daughters in to get physicals for sports. The staff were nice and helpful. The facility was clean. We were in and out within an hour. I greatly appreciate the process.

My rating of 1 is because they dont have a zero. Appt at 3:30 and at 4:40 the PA finally came in. After telling her I had congestion for 2 week she said they dont have xrays on weekends. It doesnt say that on website and when making my appt they didnt say that either. I just left. Talk about inept. Dont go here.

We arrived early and were the only ones in the waiting room. I could hear the workers talking loudly, cracking up, cussing, talking inappropriately. I was extremely surprised by this as I found it very unprofessional in this place of urgency and pain. I got up and asked how long it would be I was informed once someone left. After I saw a couple people leave and continued to hear the workers socializing loudly I got up to say appointment time came and went and at 3:45 15 minutes past the appointment time, I got up and asked when I would be seen. She told me around 5 minutes. Once seen for my dog bite I was prescribed medicine for an infection but not for the pain or anything for my numb fingers. Not sure if there could have been a referral. Then when I was on the phone with my insurance for the ride. They tried calling twice to verify I was there and the lady at the front desk said her phone wasnt ringing but I think it was not receiving calls as the insurance lady explained. Finally I had the front desk lady talk to my insurance lady and she was very vague and unprofessional. Just answered the basic giving her name and yes I was there but was not friendly or helpful reliving the confusion. I think next time Ill choose somewhere else besides NexCare.

The people at NextCare in Apache Junction were so attentive and professional. I was treated with such respect and dignity. They helped me with my broken wrist and set up an next day appointment with an Orthopedic surgeon. I would definitely recommend this facility for your urgent care needs. It was a very good experience. I was in and out quickly and well cared for during my time there. Thank you NextCare.

I was a walk in without an appointment and was seen fast and staff is friendly and efficient. The best urgent care I have been too.

The absolute worst medical professionals I have ever dealt with totally unprofessional and cannot even do their job correctly. A simple DOT physical ended up costing me thousands of dollars and thousands more in lost wages because they could not fill out the forms correctly and they cannot even do a drug test either totally ridiculous. This place should be closed down.

Although I finally got to see a provider and get what I needed, the wait time was beyond ridiculous. I had made an appointment at 145pm and did not get seen until 3pm. I did all the check in paperwork ahead of time and arrived early for my appointment. After waiting for over an hour, and watching walk in people get seen before me, the front desk explained that appointments are just reservations and doesnt mean anything. So lesson learned, dont make appointments to Nextcare because it will not get you in faster. Then they sent our prescription to the incorrect pharmacy. They offered to fix it but I declined because I was so annoyed with waiting for 2 hours for a 5 min diagnosis. They did offer a TeleHealth Video to be seen but only because it would be easier on the provider who was running behind. And I needed an actual person to touch and feel my arm to make a diagnosis. So just be warned, dont both with appointments and be prepared to wait over 2 or more hours.

I didnt have any issues coming here. I went in for what I thought was strep or bronchitis. They called me back quickly and I was out if there in about 20-25 minutes. I am supposed to follow up in about 3 days. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Got an appointment online, arrived a little early was checked in. Waited about 20 minutes, then taken back. Did preliminary stuff with nurse. Then put into exam room, waited about 15 minutes. Saw nurse practitioner, she recognized what l had, wrote out prescriptions. Very friendly and personable. This is a second visit here in last year, both good experiences. Would return again.

I woke up on Friday with what looked like a nickel sized blister on my lower leg, in the front. By Saturday it had gotten larger- we had plans that day, so decided to go to U.C. on Sunday if needed. Sunday morning it had kept me awake most of the night and was now the size of a silver half dollar. It was painful and half filled with green pus and red tinged liquid in the other half. Plus there was the appearance of a dark purple bruise filling the circle. First I made a phone appt and that provider called my local U.C. and arranged for me to be seen there right away. This is the second time Ive seen this provider, Kristen Turner. I really appreciate how kind, thorough and friendly she is. She explained the process of draining this thing and getting a culture on it, provided a script for the necessary antibiotics. They will call me when the culture comes back. VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!

The room looked full when I got there, but after filling out the questionnaire electronically, on my phone, it was only a few minutes before they called me back. I’m very impressed at having all of my questions answered in detail and in a friendly manner. Plus paperwork outlining all we talked about in the examination room. The Dr. found issues around the painful arthritic knee area I wasn’t even aware of. Have a quality knee brace that’ll help me walk easier until my orthopedic specialist appointment in a few weeks. Thank you! I do recommend NextCare, Apache Junction.

The front desk lady was so friendly and accommodating. She answered my persistent questions with a smile and a genuine sense of caring. The nurse who took me back for vitals was just as friendly. She and I chatted like old friends. When the doctor came in, he was all business but efficient and to the point. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Always friendly and fast here. The NP Kristen, took the time to explain my daughter’s ear infection to her and answered all of her questions. Everyone here is always kind and friendly. The only urgent care we go to.

The doctor I saw Kristin Turner in the Apache Junction NextCare was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive to what I had to say. Took her time to listen to me and conversate with me about my issue. Very knowledgeable and personable!

Wait time wasn’t too bad and the doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great experience. In at my scheduled time. Staff was fantastic, especially Provider Tara, who Listened to me. I wish that office was my primary care staff! Highly recommend.

Dr didn’t do enough to get to the cause of the pain in my upper arm! Also didn’t seem to know how to judge what the rash was!!

All but the wait time were great. My appointment was scheduled for 245 got there at 230 and was still in the waiting room until 330. Thats too long. If youre going to have appointment you need to be closer to the time scheduled. Otherwise just let each be seen in the order arrived

Arrived at urgent care and checked in. I was informed there was an hour wait. After 30 minutes I was called in and advised to do tele-doctor due to high wait times. I said no I’ll wait and be seen by a doctor here. Went back out to sit in my car and wait and received a text to come in. Came in within 30 seconds and the lady at the front rolled her eyes and looked back at the medical assistant then said I wasn’t here when I was called so I have been moved back one spot. Waited in the lobby and the medical assistant took my vitals and information (the only pleasant/respectful person in the building was this medical assistant). I was then seated back in the lobby and after about an hour I was seated in a room. I could hear the doctor going in about 6 different rooms before reaching me. After a little over 2 hours I walked out of the room to get some water and the doctor had an attitude and said I she was coming in now and I didn’t need water. I informed her 3 times I needed water and she finally said her machine was broke. After about 2 minutes talking with me in the room she said I had the flu and the only real thing I can do it drink water and keep my protons levels up. Ironic she denied me water but then tells me to drink water. She keep me there as the last patient to have a 2 minute conversation decline my water request and tell me to drink water. Doctors name was Candace Darling. I did not catch the disrespectful front desk lady’s name but she did sit on the left of your looking at them. I also did not catch the medical assistants name but he was the only one that took the job serious and was respectful.

Dont bother with making an appointment. They dont honor your scheduled time due to walk-ins being a priority.

I had an appt. Time at 9:30 am but not seen til 11;15 am so that was disappointing but Dr. Was very nice and thorough.

When you go in for fever and coughing / sinuses and the doc listens to your uterus with her stethoscope. 😑 in and out quickly besides waiting to be seen. Wouldnt recommend this place.Follow up: unique situation? How are your physicians trained if I say Im coughing, cant breathe and its getting worse and they have me last down and put a stethoscope on my uterous? Then proceeded to tell me to take a benadryl?? Im not a doctor but even I know that doesnt track. Sounds like they need to have a medical book thrown at them along with additional training. The GP I went to a week later certainly did nothing of the sort and actually helped me with a proper and RELEVANT examination along with treatment.

Went in with a blocked swimmers ear. Staff were all super nice and professional. Came out with unclogged ear. Highly recommend.

I was sick with high fever and yucky nose. Tested for Covid came back positive. The doctor didn’t even look in my nose or throat. I explained to her that I am prone for sinus infections and now I have to go to my primary care to hopefully get some medicine for my nose. Was a little pricey even with my insurance to just get a Covid test.

First time there. From the front desk, to the medical tech and Nurse Practitioner. A +.Professional and courteous from our entry to leaving. I know were we are going IF we ever have to go to Urgent Care again. 🇺🇸👍🏼

Doctor was efficient and went right to discovering my breathing problem and treatment. Administered a breathing treatment and Steroid shot. Nurse assistant was terrific gave me the shot and gave me a breathing machine for home use. All in all great experience and breathing much improved.

The PA. Was very nice until I told her the MA needs a little more education in companion. Then she looked like she was in shock. The MA needs to listen to the patient. She hurt me so bad that I was in tears.

Staff was incredibly efficient and kind. Michelle was attentive, up front, and super informative. She put my mind at ease and gave us a plan to make my teenager feel better while battling the flu. I’m glad we stopped in, service was friendly and easy — especially on a Sunday evening.

As a walk in the wait was an hour. Staff was courteous. Physician was knowledgeable. As a courtesy to patients who do not feel well and don’t feel like listening to personal conversations I wish they had a “no cellphone” policy in then waiting area.

Great customer service! The young man was very nice. The Dr I saw she was amazing and very caring. The girl who took my vitals was great as well. Keep up the good work.

If you have to go to an Urgent Care this is definitely the one you want to go to. The staff are very friendly and polite. The Doctors on call are professional and try their best to accurately diagnosis your health issues and provide the best treatment for you. 😆

I had a Sunday appointment at 6pm maybe everyone was home watching football? It was the next appointment available online so I booked it. Luckily it was close to home. I think I was the only patient there so in and out so quick. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

Your receptionist is amazing and very good at her job...... the nurse that dealt with me was very polite and professional and the caregiver/doctor that attended to me was very professional and looked after my needs effectively. I will always come to this care unit when I have medical issues, they have a great team working there.

We wish Dr. Ryan could be our primary family physician! Hes not only knowledgeable and professional but also very funny and friendly. He had my son laughing even though he was super nervous about his check-up. We know where were going if we need a doctor again.Shoutout to the reception lady, too – she was really nice and friendly. Even though the place was packed, we didnt have to wait long. Quick, professional, and just a great vibe all around. So glad we picked this clinic!

Made an appointment here for the main reason of having Xray. Show up for appointment to be notified there is no xrays today. I said the appointment was for a hurt finger, the office knowing gbere was no xeay should have notified me before coming! Waste of time!!!! I would give negative stars if I could.

We were out of town and this was a great experience. They were fast and on time. The front desk lady and the doctor were very nice and the doctor listened and sent in the prescriptions needed to get me feeling better quickly.

I will never return to this clinic. After the MA did vitals, a ‘doctor’ came in for the exam, saying he was a nurse practitioner. At no time did he say he was really a student until after I objected to his proffered treatment. I was surprised to learn a student was practicing on me. After that the real NP came in and she seemed angry and would not grant my requested treatment which, for my condition, has always worked for me in the past. So I left, feeling abused and powerless.

The staff is beyond helpful,welcoming and make you feel comfortable..Definitely coming back when needed..

Extremely slow! I had an appointment at 9:15 and didn’t get in until after 11. I won’t go back.

Appointment was at 12:30. Got to see a provider at 2:45. I’m not a happy camper so doubt if I will use this establishment again. Nothing against staff. Everyone was very nice.

This place is absolutely terrible. My tonsils are almost swollen shut and the doctor sees me for probably 2 minutes and says she can’t help me because she doesn’t think I’m sick. And then they try to give me over a $500 bill for not doing anything. She said it was because of the weekend and holiday which is on Monday not today on Sunday. These people try to F you over any chance they get. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. This place needs to be shut down. They only care about their money and don’t offer proper service to their clients.

Making an appointment was quick and easy. There was just a short wait to see the Dr, the staff were very professional and caring. Was able to explain my symtems and reason for the visit. A solution to help me was made and I was on my way in a short time.

I spent an hour calling several urgent care facilities to find one that has xray services onsite. This was the only one I found that I was actually even able to book same day appointment without having to do walk in and wait.Good communication with online filling in of patient information prior to our arrival. Saw us right away once we were able to get authorization from our emergency travel insurance.Saw the doctor, had xray and report all within an hour.The only thing that I want to add is the list of pediatric orthopedic surgeons they gave me is completely outdated. Not a single correct phone number. Better to just google it and find someone on your own!

Great Care!!! Wait time a bit long. Disappointed with “place holder” status when making an appointment. Big misunderstanding. If I book an appointment online, it’s so I do the majority of my wait time in the comfort of my own home. Getting to “appointment” and being told it’s a 2 hour wait, and “appointments” are “place holders” was a big disappointment. It’s easier to suffer at home than waiting in a waiting room. Again, the care when received, was Great!

I needed to be seen again in Nov 2023, they’re so wonderful here!!! I try to mention when people do great work and not only post negative reviews.I had a long wait on Presidents Day 2023, but it was worth it. Im so grateful to the Nurse Practitioner who listened to my concerns and provided exactly what I needed :)

Although I was disappointed when I made an appointment and was there early, I was told it would be an hour 1/2 to two plus hours to be seen. Things happen I understand that. I rescheduled for first appointment the next morning. The provider Candace Darling was fantastic! Both her and the MA were!! Very pleased!

Easy to set up an appointment online, recommend also. They do walk-ins, but the wait time is crazy. So definitely set up an appointment. Didnt wait to long to be seen when having an appointment. But checking in could take longer depending on time of day. Very friendly staff. The doctor was nice, and she didnt rush us. The waiting room is a bit small, so wouldnt recommend you bringing extra people with you if not needed. Easy location to find.

Im so glad that this Urgent Care on Southern/Ironwood was open until 8:00 on a Sunday evening. I had started some chest pain from coughing and breathing and I knew it was time for an antibiotic.I went there at 7:30pm and was quickly cared for by all involved. Everyone was attentive, helpful and not rushed at the late hour.I will definitely return there again!

Everyone was very kind and helpful and thorough. I love the pre sign in, makes things move quicker. Corie was kind, very busy, yet listened and was super helpful. I had the flu, she wrote up scripts and I was on my way!

Had to get a physical for work. This is where my work sent me. There were 2 emergencies while I was there that came in but all the staff was overly helpful. The receptionist explaining to the waiting room that things are delayed because of the situations. The nurse in the back was great, so pleasant! The practitioner was so sweet. Didn’t rush to get me out. Listened to everything I had to say. So even with being a walk-in and the extended wait this was a very pleasant non stressful experience.Thank you!

The facility is understaffed and the staff is over worked. This is evident in staff attitudes, which is understandable. When staff are overworked on a regular basis this can lead to poor attitudes and exhaustion. The front desk clerk was attitudinal, but explained that my appointment would be delayed by an hour because there was only one physician and one medical assistant. When we got back, the service was great. The physician was visibly exhausted, but displayed a great demeanor and was knowledgeable. Overall, I would recommend Nextcare, but the corporation and management need to rethink the way they treat their staff.

This is the second time in a week that I went to this urgent care facility. Each time I was treated with respect and patience. I was in the area and stopped by to see how busy they were. The receptionist said it would be at least an hour if I waited but I could make an appointment for later that day. So I made an appointment for 2 hours later.I arrived on time for my appointment but waited almost 20 minutes to be taken to a room. Once in an hour exam room things moved faster.I would recommend this facility.

Having never been to an urgent care unit before I wasn’t sure what to expect. After I was told there would be a 2 hour wait time since I had not preregistered I was instructed to scan the site and do the online registration.It was difficult to do only because I was feeling so poorly it was hard to focus but I got there eventually. I was very surprised to find that by the time I finished I was actually next in line as a walk in. All in all about 1 hour from when I walked in. The nurse and doctor were both caring and professional. I am a retired RN and that meant a lot to me.The instructions were ready as I was leaving so I could get home quickly and rest.Next time I know to prebook but all in all a good experience.

Came in with my daughter. Waited for about 45 minutes because there was a line of people there before us. The staff were all nice and helpful. Everyone was kind and courteous. I would recommend Urgent Care over and over again. I’ve never had a bad experience.

I had an appt, told to arrive 15 min early which I did. Was not called back for vitals til 40 min AFTER appt time. 20 min later nurse practitioner comes in and tells me she cant do anything for me but refer me to ER

I went to get a splinter removed from my finger, I waited about 4 hours before I was told that they couldn’t remove the splinter , they don’t have any qualified doctors available at this facility, they also seem to be very lazy about helping people, I will never use nextcare again , I’m very disappointed with their service and lack of motivation, that’s why I put 1 star on the review, though they deserve 0 stars !!!!!!

I was struggling to breathe due to asthma. My wait was brief, I was given a breathing treatment & shot. I was treated so kind and everyone was very nice. I would recommend Next Care in Apache Junction to everyone.

They have never gotten scripts right. Twice Ive spent 5+ hours calling back and forth and even driving to hand deliver prescriptions because theyre too incompetent to do their jobs.

I came in for a deep laceration on a finger. Required stitches. My provider, I dont remember her name, was very cheerful and compassionate, obvious from the moment she entered the room. Really a breath of fresh air. Experienced and knowledgeable as well. The entire staff was quite Pleasant even towards the end of the day.

From the time I walked in was greeted promptly with a smile and curtesy, understanding all threw the steps of checking in & out. Once called back my MA was so patient and kind come to find out amazing with injections thank you. The provider PA , was great she took time to not only give a good exam but also took time to listen and treat. Started feeling better that evening and with completing my treatment plan and prayers I’m going to be back to norm in no time. Want to thank you all for making my unexpected visit pleasant as can be. 💗 We had a few giggles as I let them know why I needed to wait outside, lol

I had to wait about 40 to 45 minutes even though I had an appointment and arrived a few moments before the scheduled time as requested. The staff seemed a little cold and impersonal, except for the PA who examined me. His name was Robert Strong- he was warm and friendly, quick to diagnose me, and order treatment. I started feeling better the next day after his recommendations.

I felt I was given good attention and care. I was not delayed nor hurried. I am happy they were there when I needed them.

If you have the ability, signing up for an appt slot online is the best way to go. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. I was looked over, treated, given precautionary instructions/meds and clear instructions on what to look for to determine when/if I need to come back for further treatment. Doctor was very relatable and efficient.

We use Nextcare for our sports physicals. Everything is SO simple. You can make the appt online, they send a link to fill out the patient paperwork and it’ll auto check you in. If you forget your AIA paperwork, they’ll provide it for you. It’s only 25.00 dollars and we were in and out within 40 minutes.Dr was super amazing and entertained all 3 teens I had with me. Great customer service! The gal at the front desk was super awesome and just got right to it to make it fast! Highly recommend the Apache Junction locations

Walked in. Short wait time. Love the online paperwork as opposed to clipboard/pen. Receptionist was friendly. Short wait then called back for vitals by nurse who was also friendly. Another short wait and nurse practitioner came into the room. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me enough medicine to last through the weekend until I could see the referred doctor on Monday.

The wait was about two hours which is not bad compared to other places especially since we were unable to set an appointment cause it was so last minute. The front desk was very kind and so was the provider. The medical assistant didn’t seem like she was having a very good day but overall it was a good experience.

Frustrating to have a scheduled appointment and still have to wait 63 minutes to be seen. Ugh!

I went in an hour before closing and they turned me away for being understaffed. There was no one in the lobby it was empty inside except for the staff. I had checked online if they were busy and their website said there were no patients waiting in line to be seen. I don’t understand why they would turn me away a WHOLE HOUR before closing time. I would understand if they were closing in like 30 minutes. The lady at the front desk was nice about it I guess but also ??? Lol why couldn’t I have just been seen

Wonderful! The check-in lady wasn’t the friendliest but the medical staff was great!! Answered all my questions and were very, very thorough. I love love love that you can make an appointment through the app! I understand it is not a guarantee but it definitely helps. They are fairly speedy and simply got their stuff together. Definitely recommend!!

The experience was fine. I made an appointment for my daughters rapid Covid test online and we were seen fairly quickly, all things considered. The providers we interacted with were kind and professional. They were good with my daughter, whos young and was very nervous.My issue was with the gross bathroom. I visited it twice within about twenty minutes and both times there was a urine sample just sitting there. Ill just say the toilet...needed to be cleaned.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Once you download the app, it’s very easy to make an appointment. If your a walk-in the wait times are usually pretty quick. The doctors are polite and friendly and take good care of you. I very much recommend going there if you live in the East Valley.

My Husband And Myself have been to this NextCare Urgent Care A few times. The location is Clean, The staff is professional, friendly And Helpful. I have never have had to wait long even after just walking in or scheduling a appointment time. The Doctors are wonderful as well as the nurse....😊

My appointment was at 11:30, I was seen by 11:30 and out by 12:00. Super efficient, friendly and thorough.

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. It functions exactly the way it should be. It took longer to do the paperwork than to be examined and treated. I was seriously in and out in a half hour.The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because of the website. I tried to check in online and it said there were 8 people ahead of me. I almost didn’t go because of that. When I got to the clinic there was only 1 person in front of me. I was so grateful.

It’s a great place it’s quick convenient just went in for tb test the little girl did a great job And they let me fill out paper work THIS TIME not on my phone CAUSE OLD PEOPLE LIKE PAPER MUCH EASIER CAUSE THEIR ONLINE SUCKS , the guy in the front EXCELLENT he was there July 27, 23 yesterday he was there right before closing wish I would have got his name he was dark skinned sweet so sweet AND SO INFORMATIVE !!!! LOVE HIM HES A MILLION TIMES BETTER THEN THE WOMEN THERE ! HES THE ONLY ONE I SEEN WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD GO JUST FOR HIM , wish I could say the same for the girls and women they got working in there .

I was in & out in less than an hour. The gals in front were very organized. The gal who showed me to a room was also very good at her job. The Dr was there shortly, exam & discussion went quickly. He was a good listener. Now I will get my script & hopefully get well. 🤧

I scheduled my appt time online 2 hours before, then after walking in at my scheduled time, they made me wait 40 minutes! I confronted the desk lady and told her I had a lot of other things to do with my time and she said the scheduled time is not guaranteed due to people that checked in before you and people that walk-in with emergencies... Like, why bother to schedule ahead 2-3 hours if you have to wait anyway once you make it into the clinic?? This is frustrating and very irresponsible from this staff. Will not be coming back here.

Very busy with Covid testing. So busy that by the time we got in, after a 4 hour wait, they were turning people away because they were out of testing supplies. Excellent staff in all areas. Very professional and extremely polite. It might be a good idea to have someone sanitize the waiting area every hour or two. Didnt see that taking place, but everything seemed nice and clean.

Took my son for Covid test. Waiting room only had 1 person besides us. Very clean. Staff was friendly. Wait time was minimal. If you need a test, great place to go. My Daughter had results back in 1 day and her partner in 1.5 days.

I feel my issue was addressed, I was given an honest diagnosis, script sent in, and was ready by the time I got home, so I could start treatment!! I will definitely make this my go to clinicfrom now on!!

I had a 2pm appointment on 4/4/18. My check in was fine, fast and simple. I didnt get to see the doctor till about 3:40pm. So, thats quite a long wait, especially for having an appointment. However, my triage was very good and my experience with the NP was excellent as well. I would much rather have a long wait and a good experience with the medical team, than a sorry wait and a bad doctor experience. So, I left feeling pleased.
