I used to work there, they are very rude nurses and all. The manager makes fun of people that work for her and their patients. Colleen and all the nurses, but 1- Katie, are very rude and I have seen them sit there laughing as they made people cry, me being one of them. They are the rudest bunch of people at Borgess and the whole office needs to be shut down and all nurses and doctors including management needs to be fired and new employees brought in.

Ive never had a bad experience here. All the doctors Ive seen have been great and the receptionists are always friendly and helpful! My only complaint is that the office moved at one point and was a little confusing to find, but if you find a staff member in the building theyre always nice and willing to help (in my experience)!Ive seen a lot of reviews complaining about not being able to get ahold of anyone on the nurse line - thats true of every healthcare business Ive ever been to. If you leave a message, they always call you back the next day or sooner!

Can never get ahold of nurses. They keep you on hold for more than 5 minutes every time. If I’m being honest it is usually more about ten minutes with one or more phone call ten minutes EACH. The wait NEVER fails. These nurses work remote they need to be more attentive to phone calls. I know not everybody has the time to consistently hang on hold for so long our lives are busy too. Not only busy but I need medical help and I don’t feel like I have it unless I am face to face with my doctor. These remote nurses are useless. I’ve heard children screaming in the background in the past are they even being attentive or being relaxed because they have the opportunity to be remote and not directly in the borgess facility?

Had outpatient surgery, the whole checking in process is absolutely horrible. Youre only told to follow arrows great 👍 if I was color blind Id be lost. Next my nurse who took me to my bed, was rude as hell, didnt answer my questions acted like she was way above me. The nurse who placed both my IV catheters was phenomenal, My anesthesiologist was a Saint and he was absolutely amazing. My recovery nurse Norma was also a Saint and such an amazing human. As a medical professional myself, I have extremely high expectations that should be met for every paitent,Nurses violating hippa in the waiting room with multiple patients SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ive also been trying to contact my doctor the last 2 days, no reply, its absolutely ridiculous.

I had awesome care under Dr. Jennifer Frink, however when it was time to have my baby at Borgess Hospital the doctor who was scheduled there (Dr. Hoffman) that day never showed up to deliver my daughter. My husband had to run and catch her as she slid out on the hospital bed. If I had not screamed for him to come back she would have hit the floor. The nurse just stood there and did nothing. I still have nightmares about it and can even barely write this review. If you have a child I recommend going thru Bronson. When Dr. Hoffman showed up for the after birth, she had the nerve to tell me sometime these things happen. There were no other active labors going on at the time of mine so she had no reason for not showing up. And another note. When I went into the Hospital my contractions were 4 minutes apart, dilated to 5 and they told me I would have to walk around for an hour and hope I was dilated more or they were going to send me home. This was my 3rd child and within 2 hours of getting there I had her. I can not express how angry I was with how I was treated and taken care of.

Called to make an appointment for an annual exam. Waited on line for 7-8 minutes. Talked to a gal who couldnt tell me when my last appmt had been. Said she would transfer me to my doctors nurse. I said, Great, either way, I want to make the appointment. At 4:43 PM, my call is transferred to an after office person. I said, this isnt after hours, I was told I would be transferred to my nurse. The after hours person was very apologetic, understood it was before closing time, and said she would report this problem.

1 star for so many reasons. First, I used to see Dr Ebner in Marshall and only left because I refuse to go to Oaklawn. Dr Ebner sees all of his patients all the way through to delivery. He listens to his patients. At Borgess there are a ton of Drs and youre going to see all of them,a different one every time, and some dont take call with others so who knows who might deliver your baby. I have a complicated medical history and they have found it impossible to keep everything straight because Im new to the Dr half of the time. A second complaint is wait time. I show up 15 minutes early like they request, and then sit in the waiting room at Least 20 minutes past my appointment time meanwhile people are walking in way after me and being called back before me. I feel like I should just start showing up whenever the hell works for me. And my biggest complaint is that anytime I have a concern I also develop a case of anxiety before being seen. This is because none of the doctors want to do anything besides hear you say everything is great! and then go on to the next patient. I have a medical background and that makes me even more annoying. I do not use WebMD to diagnose anything ever, but as soon as I tell them that Im experiencing anything out of the norm they immediately discredit all of my symptoms and tell me that I shouldnt diagnose myself online and that nothing is actually wrong with me. They refuse to even look into it. And, during my pregnancy they referred me to a cardiologist. 4 months and multiple inquiries about the referral later and I still havent heard from them. I have a possible heart problem that could harm me and my unborn child and this is how urgent it is to borgess. Disgusting.

Rachelle at the front desk is the best employee there. She always smiles, has a pleasant tone of voice, addresses me by name, remembers me (and if she doesnt actually remebrem me, thrn shes great at fake it til you make it which is just as important because most MAs and nurses there are not good at that, even). Theres been a few phone nurses that were friendly and quick to get messages to my Dr, Scott Piereson. Some of the phone nurses talk to you in a condescending, annoyed tone. Dr. Piereson is great. He isnt super outgoing/personable, but most surgeons arent. However, he really knows his stuff and he was the first GYN to actually listen and take my pain and symptoms seriously. I saw another Dr before him, Mary Jo Steenstra? She told me to take Ibuprofen for pain and that I just had a hemorrhagic cysts but it wasnt endometriosis and would go away...meanwhi me wanted to monitor it monthly with costly ultrasound. But once I got into Dr. Piereson, he looked at my ultrasound, said it was very likely that I had progressed endometriosis (especially considering family history which Mary Jo didnt care about,) and he informed me greatly and listened and answered all my questions. We did surgery and Ive been feeling pretty good one year later. I had no complications withy surgery at all. The only ultrasound tech Ive had there, told me that she saw my previous ultrasound (that she didnt perform) and it was a hot mess in there which is pretty unprofessional and shocking because techs arent supposed to say anything about what they see. But I knew my diagnosis so perhaps thats why she shared the findings with me.

Complementing the service I received at the Borgess facility through my entire pregnancy doesn’t do it justice. It must be raved about. I had initially visited Bronson and was pretty unimpressed. I felt like a number (or an insurance card) and was told that I would be examined by about 8 doctors through the course of the pregnancy so I would be familiar with the doctor who was on call during delivery. Being slightly modest, I really didn’t like the idea of “assuming the position” for 8 different people, and I didn’t like that I wouldn’t be developing a relationship with a specific person- so I could call them if there was a concern and they would be familiar with me and my pregnancy.Borgess was completely different. They have doctors or midwives, and you get to pick which one you would like, and that specific person helps you through the entire process. I chose a midwife after meeting several people during a walk through because it was pretty easy to recognize… these midwives LOVE babies. I have a pretty hectic schedule but decided to join their “centering” program because I was completely clueless about childbirth / what to do afterwards! This was an AWESOME program – there was one class a month (every 2 weeks near the end) and we covered everything: birth, breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum feelings, calming crying baby, etc…Megan ran the centering program and was my midwife and made me feel SO comfortable. She was kind, educated, and made herself available to all the girls in the class for any questions/concerns. You could honestly tell that she cared about all of us- and especially our babies  She wasn’t the midwife on call when I went into labor, but the midwife who delivered me was equally as amazing. It was hilarious to look back, she was cheering me on during the “pushing” process like a I was finishing a marathon.. “YOU’RE DOING GREAT, OH THAT WAS A GREAT ONE, YOU’RE A PRO AT THIS!!!”… Certainly gave me confidence about something I had no idea what I was doing. I loved it! Then, Megan came and visited me as soon as she got in, just to make sure I was doing alright. That’s pretty incredible, I mean, I was in a different building from her, and I guess she had found out I had my baby and wanted to stop by.My entire experience with this hospital’s program was amazing, and I would recommend them (and especially the centering program) to anyone in a heartbeat.

Extemely poor experience. In 2019 I saw a doctor at this facility and was never given the approriate medical referal or treatment I had to advocate for myself to get the referal that was needed. The provider also sent me for testing but did not give me the approriate testing need to accurately diagnosis and treat it was not until I went to a non-borgess facilitiy that I got the approriate care needed. I decided to give the clinic another try and in February of 2020 I went to see a different provider at the facility (Dr. Raingrass). Prior to the appointment I let the clinic know what I was coming for and that was to consult on a pre-exisiting issue and that I had been seen by another facility. There was a medical release on file for exchange of information with this other facility. Dr. Raingrass never obtained the record for our appointment so he had no clue as to what the issue was that had been document by the other facility. He proceeded to tell me that he did not have the medical technology need to do assessment, which causess me to wonder why the appointment was kept if he could not do the procedure or assessment. Furthermore, I was extremely disappointed that he did not get my medical records for the consultant. Instead he suggested another procedures which Im certain has a higher billable amount through my insurrance. I requested that the provider look at the information from my file and please take the time to contact me back. To date I have received no call back or answers to m concerns. The services recieved were extremely poor on all occassions I have interacted with this center. Furthermore, I contacted the practice manager Amy Beach and have left two voicemails for her to address my concerns and have gotten no response. I would reccomend that no one who cares about their health go here.

I saw Dr. Rangrass throughout my pregnancy and had a C-section which went on very smoothly without any issues. I developed gestational diabetes, but it was monitored and managed so well by the whole team. The doctor and staff there are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend going there for pregnancy matters as you will be in very good hands.

If you have any type of health issue that requires extra compassion or understanding from your medical team...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLEASE! I have been a patient at this practice since early 2015. In July of 2015 I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of fistulizing Crohns disease, that not only is unpredictable and involves my colon and rectum but also requires additional specialty gynecological care. I had an appt today that unfortunately I was running behind for...a bathroom emergency threw me off my schedule. These things happen with my disease. I called to notify the staff BEFORE I was late and was honest about WHY. I arrived FOUR minutes past my grace period window...which is apparently a new policy of only 10 minutes per the front office staff. As someone who is trained as a nurse, has survived 13 surgeries in the last 3.5 years and am typically on time for my appts, I am disgusted by the utter lack of compassion that exists in this practice. I cannot count how many times I have been left sitting at this practice in my exam room...naked, save a paper gown top for over an hour, someimes longer than 90 minutes PAST MY APPT TIME....shivering- reading a book waiting for an exam. Sometimes a nurse will come in every half hour to apologize for the delay, sometimes not...but this is the ususal...count on a LONG wait. Despite those long waits, I STILL allow them to bring residents in to LEARN from my uniquely diseased body at 40 years old. I stayed here, at this practice for the expertise of ONE physican. Unfortunately that isnt enough to keep me after today.Today, Ascension Borgess Womens Health reassured me that they have zero compassion for me as a human being and patient: both the front staff and back...regardless of any extenuating circumstances. You cant run a practice when you really dont care one bit about your patients. Its ok for them to make you wait for hours on their table but if youre stuck in a medical emergency and four minutes past your grace period...dont bother showing up.Borgess....not worth it.

After changing my insurance, I spoke with the front desk multiple times to ensure they were aware of the change. After receiving a bill with no insurance coverage I assumed it was a mistake and called to have it re-billed correctly. This went on for a while with no resolve, not I’m fighting to stay out of collections.

Do you even exist?? I was on hold on and off for 10 minutes as the poor woman at the office I called tried to connect me. Are you still there? ok, Im gonna try again. On hold. Sorry, let me try another line. On hold. Lemme try another one. Hold. Still there? Hold. Im going to try another one. Hold. This literally happens 13 different times until finally the phone starts ringing....and ringing...and ringing. It rings for 3 full minutes. Then stops. I am not disconnect, the ringing just stops. No one answers. I guess I should have listened to the other reviews, and will seek medical help elsewhere.
